Over the weekend, Donald Trump spoke at the North Carolina GOP convention, and the speech was, let's just call it what it

Starting point is 00:01:28 was. It was psychotic. I mean, seriously, if you knew someone who said the things that Donald Trump said, you would call for an involuntary psychological hold. I mean, because this individual is seriously, seriously disturbed. I mean, from the dangerous lies to just the insane and vile things that are spewed. But this is the modern day Republican Party. I mean, seriously, what has happened to the Republican Party? I'll show you some clips of what went down during Donald Trump's speech in North Carolina. He spoke in Greensboro. Let me show you this.

Starting point is 00:02:08 So Donald Trump begins by talking about when he was in office, it was his goal to make sure oil prices were higher. And so he pled with Russia and Saudi Arabia to raise oil prices. Here, play this clip. Talk about that because I had to save the oil companies. They were all going to go bust. I said, this is the first time I've ever said we got to get it up a little bit. I actually called Russia and the king of Saudi Arabia. We had a three-way call and we cut back on the oil because it was so incredible, helped fill up the strategic national

Starting point is 00:02:42 reserves. And he's now taken all of that to reduce gasoline prices for cars just prior to the election, very artificially. And he's reduced it down to the lowest level that it's been in, I think, 60 years. Of course, Donald Trump's main 2024 issue that he's running on in the Republican primary is that the 2020 election was stolen from him. And here, and again, spewing election lies here. Donald Trump talks about how he believes the courts were not courageous back in 2020. Play this clip. And just remember, they created a lot of ballots. They had places where there were more ballots than there were voters. And they had a hard time explaining it, but the courts don't like to get involved because the courts were not

Starting point is 00:03:32 courageous. They were not courageous. It's a shame what happened, but we have to have strong elections and we have to have a strong border. And just think about that. He's saying that he believes the courts were not courageous. He filed over 70 lawsuits. Many of these lawsuits were in front of judges that he appointed, and he essentially lost every single case. Not only did he lose every single case, but the federal judges determined that it was so frivolous that many of his lawyers have lost their legal license or have faced discipline by state bar authorities. It is all completely false. By the way, if you actually go into the emails that were sent and the communications by Donald Trump's own lawyers that were produced in various proceedings, we know that they knew they were lying.

Starting point is 00:04:20 Yet, they continued to file perjurious declarations in these court cases that fortunately the courts rejected anyway. In this next clip, Donald Trump calls for conquering Venezuela and says that if he was in office, he would have just conquered the country. Play this clip. How about we're buying oil from Venezuela? When I left, Venezuela was ready to collapse. We would have taken it over. We would have gotten all that oil. It would have been right next door. But now we're buying oil from Venezuela. So we're making a dictator very rich. Can you believe this? Nobody can believe it. You

Starting point is 00:04:55 know where the oil, you know, their oil is garbage. It's horrible. The worst you can get tar. It's like tar. And to refine it, you need special plants i mean seriously he's talking about conquering venezuela and stealing their oil and and he's getting uh applauded by the audience what in the world is going on folks uh oh well big fat dumps of course donald trump during the speech in north carolina talked about his big fat dumps. Play this clip. But we can stop them cold and we will. And we would have had them stop cold. And they know that. And they cheated like dogs. They cheated like nobody's ever cheated before. You turn on your television at 10 o'clock, you would have said Pennsylvania's a lock.

Starting point is 00:05:42 We were up by so much a lock. All of a sudden, you see that big fat dump, that big dump at 302 or whatever it was in the morning. It's a disgrace what happened. And as I said, if you had a family member, friend, neighbor, colleague, co-worker who went up to you and said, hey, Bob, there are these big fat dumps I want to talk about. Big fat dumps. I mean, you would, and just repeated that over and over again. Would you say, you know what, Bob? Nuclear codes. I got to give you the nuclear codes to the United States.

I got to know them, major sleazebags, but Woodward looks like such a wonderful guy. He's absolutely the worst. What sleazebags? Oh, poor Richard Nixon. He's absolutely the worst. What sleeves bags? Starting point is 00:08:48 But I got my own problems with these people. But Woodward's a sleaze. Bernstein, I don't know, but he looks pretty bad to me. I don't know Bernstein. I heard he was the poor of the two. He seemed to be that. He's a nasty person, though. For a person that doesn't know me, I don't think I ever met him.

But he's a nasty guy. But they're all nasty because they're deranged. And of course, the malignant narcissism. Donald Trump wants to tell you he was a great student in Wharton. He goes, I was a great student in Wharton, and now I'm indicted. I don't even know what indicted means. Play this clip.

Starting point is 00:09:22 I was a very good student at the Wharton School of Finance. Can you imagine? I wonder if they're proud of me. I got indicted. I wonder if they're saying, oh, that's wonderful. I've been indicted twice now in a couple of months. You know, when I was studying and when I was a very, very successful businessman, then I did The Apprentice and I did lots of books that were big, big, big, big sellers.

Starting point is 00:09:45 Even now I have books that are tremendous sellers. I never had this stuff in mind. I never had the word indictment. What's indictment mean? Sir, that's when you're extremely dishonest, sir. No, these people are con men, and we have deranged people running it. By the way, he was not a great student in wharton people at wharton didn't even really know he went to wharton because they said they have no recollection of him he didn't have any friends at wharton like nobody even knew him

Starting point is 00:10:18 other than being just like an arrogant idiot is what people who went there refer to him as. And of course, Donald Trump won't let anybody access his grades because let's just face it, he was likely not anything that he described in that video clip. Okay, in this next clip, Donald Trump talks about taint and that he thinks that New England should be referred to for having a liberal taint not a liberal tint play this clip such a big big business such a powerful business and such an important business new england has a liberal tint but or taint i would say taint is a better word actually but it it's a little bit on the liberal side they they say. Here's actually an interesting moment, though, of some self-awareness. Here, Donald Trump is just spewing hatred towards the LGBTQ community and specifically towards the trans community. And Donald Trump basically says, look,

Starting point is 00:11:19 there used to be a time where Republicans would clap about lowering taxes and on issues, but now all I have to say is hateful things about the trans community and I get standing ovations. And this North Carolina GOP convention then gives him a standing ovation for that as he's basically mocking them. Here, play this clip. Critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content of our children. It's amazing how strongly people feel about that. You see, I'm talking about cutting taxes.

Starting point is 00:12:08 People go like that. Talking about transgender. Everyone goes crazy. Who would have thought five years ago you didn't know what the hell it was? You know, one of the problems, though, too, a big problem, is kind of local and large media networks and how they cover events like this. So what I always like to do on these videos is not just show how insane and vile and despicable these events are. We know it. I mean, we see the clips. I can keep using those words.

Starting point is 00:12:37 Oh, that's vile. It's deranged. It's disgusting. We know that. But when the media gaslights us, like that's normal. Like the behavior that I just showed you, that the behavior that he exhibits is just like, oh, that's just politicians. That's just people being political. No, it's not. Like that is crazy. That is insane.

Starting point is 00:12:57 That is dangerous. That is fascism. Call it what it is. And then the media refuses to do it. Look, this is the local NBC affiliate. This was their coverage of the event. They go, former President Donald Trump speaks at the North Carolina GOP convention in Greensboro. Here is the recap. And then they go through the recap and they talk about how the Republican delegates censored their senior senator over his support of gay marriage and

Starting point is 00:13:27 immigration reform. They also reelected their party chair, Michael Whatley, and Donald Trump was the keynote speaker. The former president came close to endorsing a candidate for North Carolina governor. Quote, I'm going to endorse one, but I'm not going to tell you about it tonight, Trump said. We'll save it for another day. He probably doesn't even know who the candidates are. On his criminal indictment over handling top secret documents, Mr. Trump gave delegates a warning. They're not coming after me. They're coming after you. And I'm just standing in their way, Trump said. This is the coverage by the local NBC network about the event that I just showed you.

Starting point is 00:14:09 I mean, starting from the top where they just so cavalierly talk about how the Republican senator who was supportive of gay marriage, the fact that he supported the right, supported government, right? They're supposed to be small government. The fact that he supported government not interfering in the ability of two people who love each other to get married, they censored him for supporting gay marriage and supporting immigration reform. Like, okay, could we actually try to solve the immigration issue? Like rather than just, you know, I get it's easy to hate on people and just say, you know, very mean and hateful things all the time and try to just whine and complain about problems. But because this Republican wanted to try to come up with a solution to deal with immigration, let's censor that person just because he doesn't say build a

Starting point is 00:15:01 wall that doesn't, we're going to make Mexico pay for it because he wants to actually look into the facts and the details. I mean, by the way, you know how the Republicans were all talking about Title 42, Title 42, and the fact that Biden's going to remove Title 42, hell's going to break loose. Title 42 is the greatest. You know, border crossings have decreased. We have a lot of data now, close to 70 to 75% since the Biden plan actually replaced Title 42, which was the Trump plan, which isn't even an immigration plan. It's a plan that deals with emergency powers of a president during the COVID emergency, which MAGA Republicans also want to claim doesn't exist. Let's stick with the facts. And then when you actually go into what this article is covering, they go, and Donald Trump

Starting point is 00:15:49 issued a warning. I mean, how about everything else that we just showed and how insane that is? Can we please cover that? But see, that's why people aren't watching this crap anymore.
