He's sending these throughout the day, and I subscribe to this listserv so you don't have to. But here are the types of messages that he's sending to his supporters that I want to compare it to what President Biden and President Biden's surrogates are saying. But here's what Donald Trump says. It says in the subject line in these emails that his campaign sending, it says, Ben, Ben, Ben, I have enclosed a secret gift and it is a dark MAGA secret gift. And it says, I am Donald Trump and I love you. It says, it says, well, this is Donald Trump and we completely sold out of dark MAGA

shirts, but I'm Donald Trump and I love you. So I restocked these MAGA shirts just for you because I will never surrender and neither will you. I love you. I mean, this is some strange stuff. Remember the messages I was sharing with you yesterday as well? I love you stuff. All right. Donald Trump then sends this one. You're my absolute best supporter and I want everyone to know. And it says, tomorrow I square off against Crooked Joe with millions of Americans watching. I need your help to show the liberal mob that Americans' silent majority is silent no longer. Don't let the deep state Democrats eliminate your voice. Let's be very clear. Y'all ain't the silent majority. Y'all are the very, very loud, obnoxious, small group that wants to project this wannabe authoritarian strength that needs to be called out. Donald Trump then writes in an email, imagine being the first displayed while I wipe

the floor with Biden, President Biden to you. Donald Trump then writes, the gloves are coming off. Sleepy Joe fake tapper. That's in the subject line. And then it says, I'm bringing out the, that it has in caps, big like big guns. And if you go and look at the prior email, he tries to, in caps, put very violent rhetoric in all caps. And he goes, I'm bringing out the big guns. That means, Ben, I'm not pulling any punches. So I'm inviting you to join my debate preparation team as an official member of the Trump advisory board. Here's what it says. This is just ridiculous. Is this sleepy? Joe is relying on a cocktail of drugs to keep him upright and awake.

He's relying on highly biased moderators like fake tapper to feed him softball questions. And he's relying on his army of so-called fact checkers to spread lie after lie on his behalf. But I have high expectations because of my advisory board. And I have total confidence in you, Ben, to join me as part of my advisory board. But notice what he does there. And this is part of the propaganda that they spread. One of the ways Donald Trump says he's going to lose is because he says President Biden is going to be on a cocktail of drugs. Donald Trump then says it's unfair. The moderators are unfair. Just him whining over and over again. He calls Jake Tapper fake Tapper because he is a petulant third grader. No offense to third graders who may

be petulant. You don't even behave as bad as that. And then he goes, and then President Biden, this is a new one. They're relying on fact checkers. So what is Donald Trump saying? He goes, basically, I'm going to be lying about everything. So when they have fact checkers say that I'm lying, that's what, I just want you to know that their fact checkers are all part of the cabal. Now, as Aaron Frischner writes, somewhere Donald Trump is wondering to himself how many times he can get away with doing these exact same stupid bits before a debate. He doesn't even change it up a little bit, just counts on mass amnesia, which always seems to work out. Just look at some of these headlines

from 2016. Donald Trump challenges Hillary Clinton to take a drug test before final debate. That was in 2016. Here on September 27, 2020, Trump says he's strongly demanding Biden is drug tested ahead of their first presidential debate. Or how about this one, September 16, 2016, Donald Trump objects to Anderson Cooper as debate moderator. He's very biased. Or how about this one, Trump amplifies, and let me just pull this up one more time, Trump amplifies allegations of bias against another presidential debate moderator in 2020. It's just the same moves over and over again. He's hawking the same types of things here over and over again. Hey, Midas Mighty. And that's, of course, as Donald Trump is posting videos with Jesus on his shoulders. He's cursing in churches, in places of worship. I mean, it's just some despicable stuff. On the other hand, you take a look at what President Biden's posting. He goes, MAGA Republicans want to cut taxes for

billionaires, raise the retirement age for Social Security and slash Medicare. I've got a better idea. Let's protect Social Security and Medicare and make the very wealthy pay their fair share, President Biden writes. Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the monumental marriage and advocates in the LGBTQI plus community who fought for these hard won rights. And in overturning Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court also mentioned that Obergefell would likely be next on the chopping blocks when they're trying to take away people's freedoms. Want to also mention, here's this audio, and it's extra creepy when you actually hear Donald Trump saying it. This is from the book written by the Variety's editor, a co-editor-in-chief. You may also notice someone veering into incoherent ideas detached from reality. You know what I'd do if there was a shark? Or you get electrocuted?

Cognitive function will never return and will only deteriorate further. Don't ignore the signs. in is preparing for a disciplined version of Trump. I will say discipline and Trump, those are not, I think, two words we normally associate with one another, but in all seriousness, it's not. So I wonder what you think of that. Do you really think that we are going to see that? Oh, I mean, history would tell us no. And, you know, listening to him talk about he's not preparing, of course he's not preparing. He doesn't prepare for anything. He didn't listen to briefs. He didn't listen to governors during COVID. He didn't do things to help us. I got off the phone this morning with Joe Biden,

who's concerned about the Rapidan Dam in Mankato and the flooding we're seeing. That's a big difference. Debates are an opportunity for people to hear on some specific subjects. I hope the moderators do a good job of asking those questions. But this is about the record. And I think Donald Trump's going to have a hard time because if he gets asked and he has to talk about his record, there's not much there. But yeah, I, you know, he's an entertainer. Now he can talk about his felonies. I just expect him to not be able for 90 minutes not to talk about himself in the way that he normally does, which is, you know, untruths and hyperbole. So I think, again, I would just, if the president's just talking about his record,

folks out here know who's delivering, who's, we got, you know, historic unemployment numbers out here starting to tame inflation. If Donald Trump had done his job when he was president, we wouldn't have been in the situation we were. So I'm going to watch just to see if he can maintain himself. I doubt it. Governor. And here's an interesting one. Even on Newsmax, they had to acknowledge that there are zero Fortune 100 CEOs who are supporting or have donated to Trump this election cycle. Here, play this clip.

Bob, while we've got you, I've got to ask you about a headline. It came across my desk this morning from Axios reporting there are zero Fortune 100 CEOs that are supporting or have donated to former President Donald Trump this election cycle. They cite some data compiled by Yale's Jeffrey Sonnenfeld. Is this a big deal? What do we expect with President Biden to talk about at the debate? Here's the Biden-Harris spokesperson, T.J. Ducklow. Watch this. And look, the president's excited. He's going to stay on that stage tomorrow night, Nicole, just a short distance from where we are. He's going to talk about the future. He's going to talk about his vision for a second term, which means protecting freedoms, not ripping them away and making sure that everyone in this country has a fair shot versus Donald Trump, who continues to brag about his role in overturning Roe versus Wade, who thinks the extreme abortion bans all across the country

are working, quote, just the way they're supposed to. He's going to, you know, Trump continues to support the failed trickle-down economic approach, cutting taxes for billionaires, which drives up the costs for the rest of us. And look, and as you've covered extensively today, and as you cover every day on this show, Trump is a existential, urgent threat to our democracy. He promises to rule as a dictator on day one, promises a bloodbath if he loses, promises to replace civil servants with his loyalists. So that's the contrast I think folks are going to see tomorrow night, and we're excited to make it. Pretty normal, I mean, talking about issues moving the country forward. Well, anyway, big day today. We'll have round-the-clock coverage.
