A terrible Friday morning for Donald Trump, his approval rating on the economy is absolutely getting battered as Donald Trump is being blamed and rightfully so. government shut down and the surging inflation. The new CNBC survey shows that Donald Trump has a negative 13 net approval on the economy. He and the GOP are rightfully being blamed for the mess that

they are causing. I mean, just take a look at the headlines anywhere in the country and you'll find something like this. Page one, Minnesota Star Tribune, insurance costs pommel, senior. And look, we're focused a lot right now on these Affordable Care Act premiums that are surging. And it's not just that. It's all types of insurance. It's all types of utilities that are increasing right now. Its groceries are increasing. We all know that things are much more expensive under this disastrous Trump regime.

Also, a shockwave is being sent through the regional bank community. Recent disclosures from lots of. of regional banks are showing some systemic issues there as well. Disclosures coming as investors were already nervous about the implosion of auto lender tricolor holdings and the bankruptcy of auto parts supplier first brands group coupled with Jamie Diamond of JPMorgan Chase, warning of cockroaches in credit. This sound familiar to you. We've been talking about this now for a very long.

time. And as I've been saying, systemically and structurally right now, this Trump regime is ripping apart the fabric of our economy. And I said, y'all remember how the great recession in 08, 2008, really started, 07, 08, that period, y'all remember what it was based on, right? It was based on, you know, all of these homes for the foreclosures on all of these homes. And there, that was just kind of one trap taking place. Now what we see happening is, these traps in almost every aspect of our economy taking place, the subprime mortgages back then. Now we're seeing this all across, it's all one big Trump Ponzi scheme as he and his regime claim that Dave brought in what Trump said yesterday, $20 trillion. Peter Navarro is now claiming

it's $19 trillion. They are just making up numbers right now. By the way, I mean, here's Peter Navarro this morning, just so you can see saying that Dave brought in 19. trillion dollars in investment commitments all I all one big Ponzi scheme this is Navarro from this morning let's play it but let's think about this um you can't have the manufacturing jobs until what until the plants get built we got 19 trillion dollars not let me say that one more time 19 trillion dollars of investment promised to come into this country now construction is going to boom in the short run, but we're not going to see the manufacturing jobs until that capacity gets built. So it'll be six months, nine months, 12 months, 18 months.

But what we're doing is setting the stage for the construction of a beautiful addition to our manufacturing base. And by the way, like, this is how smart, not me, but we are as an administration. It's like when we're cutting these trade deals and Japan's offering to invest here, here in America, that money, you know how we're going to use that money? That money is specifically targeted at vulnerabilities in our supply chain. Meanwhile, we're seeing this headline from Reuters that China is willing to restart dialogue with Canada at all levels, the foreign minister says.

So China opening up more markets and as the United States continues to pull back, get weaker, attack Canada. attack its allies, we're seeing China step in, filling a void, and trying to position itself as a responsible player in this global economy right now relative to Donald Trump waking up and posting lunatic things on social media. Take a look at this story. I think this highlights a way American businesses are being impacted by the Trump tariffs. So here's the story from CNBC this morning. Small businesses are being crushed by Trump's tariffs. And economists say it's a warning for the economy it's more than a warning it's a three alarm fire so this article highlighted the CEO of village lighting a small business selling Christmas products and the CEO of

village lighting says it's now to the point where I could lose everything being a small business owner isn't worth it when your country turns on you when your country turns on you take a look at this Carl King Denia says, this is bananas. So last year, Village Lighting in 2024 paid less than $50,000 in tariffs. This year, the total tariffs expected is at least $1 million for this Christmas lighting company. If they pay $1 million in tariffs, how are they expected to survive? And while this is not sustainable, you've got the Trump regime giving $40 billion. Let me repeat that. $40 billion in a bailout to Argentina. Didn't Trump and Maga all say that Javier Malay, the leader of Argentina, was this brilliant mastermind with the economy and that he was making the Argentinian economy surge. Wasn't that what they were saying two years ago and Argentina should be a model for the United States?

Now we're doing a $40 billion bailout while U.S. Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent is like whining about China being mean to him. They're being mean to me. He said that the behavior by the Chinese trade officials in Washington, D.C., during their discussions, was unhinged, unhinged. Hinge. That's how you're referring to the Chinese negotiators. You think that the rest of the world doesn't think that this ridiculous Trump regime is the ones who are really unhinged. I'll show you unhinged. This morning, Donald Trump, an interview, I guess it's going to air over the weekend. But here he is with Maria Bartaroma. Fox released some clips right here. And Maria Bartaroma says, you're going to put 100% tariffs on top of what's already in place. You're going to do 157% tariffs on China. Donald Trump's like, I know, it's not sustainable, but that's what the number is.

The number is what the number is. What are you just making up numbers? You're making up numbers, and then you're also weakening your own negotiating position by saying it is not sustainable. These are quite literally the stupidest people running our economy into the ground. Here, play this clip.

If you put that 100% tariff on top of what's in place already, but 157% tariff on China, can that stand? No. What is that going to do? the economy. It's not sustainable, but that's what the number is. It's probably not, you know, it could stand, but they forced me to do that. I think we're going to do fun with China. I get a long great with him. He's a very strong leader, a very, you know, amazing man. And you look at what he's done and what he's, you know, where he's, his life is, is an amazing story. It's a story for

a great movie, I think we're going to be fine with China, but we have to have a fair deal. It's got to be fair. Speaking of the stupidest people, Eric Trump then gave an interview with CNN, where he was showed the video of his daddy, speaking with the president of Indonesia, where they were obviously discussing, in my opinion, some new quid pro quo deal. And the Indonesia leader was like, hey, you know, I'd like to meet Eric. I've got some land. I got some ideas.

And then Donald's like, Eric's a good boy. He's a good boy. And then Eric's shown the video of corruption and plain view of selling out the United States for freaking Eric Trump and Trump's stupid business deals. Right. Selling pieces of our country away. And Eric's like, I'm a good boy. Yeah, he acknowledges. My daddy says, I'm a good boy.

What weird people are these here? Play this clip. Obviously, there are investment projects happening in Indonesia. First of, have you heard from the president? Has he called you? No, not about that, but I'm glad he acknowledges that I'm a good boy. I am a good boy. And then Maga Mike Johnson holding his press conference this morning and saying,

you know, don't you want me just to be a happy warrior? If you want me to be a happy warrior, then just sign our continuing resolution where we get rid of health care for 20 million Americans. Because don't you want Maga Mike to be a happy warrior? Here, play this clip. Day like this at the end of another long week, I just feel like we ought to apologize. I hate that we have to do this. I don't want to be here any more than you do talking about this subject.

It is so difficult to be a happy warrior when you know that so many millions of American people are suffering, being made to suffer unnecessarily. Then Maga Mike goes into this weird rant saying, the last time I checked, Americans have more freedom right now since the Republicans have taken over than ever before. Here, play this clip. Beauty of America. They are decrying the country that allows them to engage in this activity. And the last time I checked, Americans have more freedom right now to express themselves and speak their minds after Republicans took over and ended the years of having millions of Americans' voices systematically silenced during the COVID pandemic years and the left's cancel culture. It is the Republicans that restored your right to share and speak your mind. That's the first and most obvious irony, the hate America rally, the second and even more. And hat tip to Democratic leader, Hakeem Jeffries, who punched back at Caroline Levitt after she says, you know, the Democrats are the ones who support the terrorist.

Democrats, constituents are just all a bunch of terrorists. And Akeem's like, is this lady crazy? Is this lady a crazy person? Watch Hakeem. He's doing it good. You play this clip. It's a matter of deep concern. Like, we've already seen a rise in political violence and hatred in America.

And then you've got swastews. because apparently appearing in the offices of Republican members of Congress, you've got young Republicans engaging in the most anti-Semitic and racist speech possible. Like, this is apparently who many of these people are. They are ripping the sheets off in plain view of the American people. Their words, their actions, revealing themselves in so many different ways. And then you've got Caroline Levitt, who's sick. She's out of control.

And I'm not sure whether she's just demented, ignorant, a stone cold liar, or all of the above. But the notion that an official White House spokesperson would say that the Democratic Party consists of terrorist violent criminals and undocumented immigrant, this makes no sense. that this is what the American people are getting from the Trump administration in the middle of a shutdown. So their actions continue to speak for themselves, which is why they're on the wrong side of public sentiment. There you have it, folks.
