Donald Trump just went on a right-wing radio show hosted by Hugh Hewitt, and Trump further incriminated himself. Donald Trump, keep on talking, keep on building that evidence. Here, let me show you this utterly deranged clip of donald trump but the good news is just further incriminating himself throughout this interview here play this clip did you direct

You don't have any story. I come under the Presidential Records Act. I'm allowed to do everything I did. If you have to go to trial, will you testify in your own defense? Oh, yes, absolutely. You'll take the stand. That I would, that I look forward to, because that's just like Russia, Russia, Russia that's all the fake information from Russia, Russia, Russia remember when the dossier came out and everyone said

oh that's so terrible, that's so terrible and then it turned out to be it was a political report put out by Hillary Clinton and the DNC they paid millions for it they gave it to Christopher Steele they paid millions and millions of dollars for it and it was all fake

it was i think that obstruction charge is going to get the trial mr president okay if you do and they ask you on on the stand did you order anyone to move boxes how will you answer i'm not answering that question for you but i'm totally covered under the law. If you read the Presidential Records Act, just read it. You take a look at it. I'm totally covered under the law. It's a civil act. It's civil. Now, Biden had no civil act. The things he did are criminal, but he doesn't have a deranged person on his case. You know, they gave me deranged Jack Smith. And thanks to the Republican Accountability Project for putting together that clip. But just go over what Donald Trump said there. He was asked if he directed anybody to move boxes. And Donald Trump's response was, I can do whatever I want.

Then Donald Trump lies and claims he's going to testify. There's like no chance he's going to testify at the trial, but we will see. And then when asked whether he's going to testify, his response was, it's just like Russia, Russia, Russia was his response. I mean, do we recognize just how utterly deranged that is? He's not even responding with sentences anymore. He's almost at the point where he's just saying sounds. You know, right now, Russia, Russia, Russia, before we know it, it's just going to be Google Gaga, Google Gaga, and you're going to have right-wing media hosts and the MAGA Republican

Party go, oh, let's give this guy the nuclear codes. You don't get more deranged than that. Then he was asked by UUIT, again, right-wing radio host, well, what are you going to say when you take the stand? And if you're asked, did you order anybody to move these boxes? Again, Trump's response is, I can do whatever I want. And then Donald Trump says that the Presidential Records Act is a civil statute and allows him to do anything that he wants. First off, that's not what the Presidential Records Act says. Under the Presidential Records Act, there is a clear distinction between what are presidential and what are personal and the differences between the two. And you can't just make up that documents belong to you and declare that all of our classified documents

are personal. But setting aside that, the Presidential Records Act is not the applicable statute here. The applicable statute here are the crimes, the violation of the Espionage Act, making false statements, and obstruction of justice. Those are the crimes which makes it criminal to do what Donald Trump did. And Donald Trump, I know all of his sycophants around him refer to him still in the term used when he disgraced our country president,

but he ain't that anymore. You're not the president. You left the White House. Nobody is above the law. You can't steal classified records, top secret records, sensitive compartmented information, and then simply say, I can do whatever I want to do. And then if you're going to do the interview and then say that, and then you're asked, well, how are you going to testify? Your response is Google, Gaga, Russia, Russia. That's just, that doesn't fly. Like that shouldn't be a political viewpoint by me to call him out for whatever the hell that was that we all just heard. And do you remember after he was arraigned in connection with the case involving his theft of documents at Mar-a-Lago, he went to Bedminster and then he held this really bizarre event where

he gave a speech and he acted like he was still in office and he can do whatever it is that he wants to do here. Play that clip. The president enjoys unconstrained authority to make decisions regarding the disposal of documents. That's unconstrained to make that decision. Neither the archivist nor Congress has the authority to veto the president's decision. The Presidential Records Act does not confer any mandatory or even discretionary authority on the archivist to classify records. And at the same time, Donald Trump is, again, parroting the most without merit, but frankly, the wackiest, wackiest deranged legal theories that exist. They're not even legal theories. They're just wacky statements that are being coordinated with somebody by the name of Tom Fitton, who's not even a lawyer. He runs the main right-wing law group. Think about that, right? MAGA Republicans,

who do they have chair of the Judiciary Committee? Jim Jordan, not a licensed lawyer. Who is one of their, in the Trump world now, like what's their biggest like legal group? Judicial Watch, who runs it? Not a lawyer, just a dude who wears very tight shirts. Tom Fitton is the one telling Donald Trump, and Trump wants to hear this, that the Presidential Records Act says that Trump or anyone can do whatever they want. That's simply not the case. Nobody is above the law. As Judge Chutkin says, we don't have kings, and Donald Trump not only is not a king, he's not the president, and presidents are not kings. That's not what we do here in the United States of America.

And here is a clip. This one is of just an interview a few days back. This is Glenn Beck. So you have you, you it right there. I'll give you more on you, you it in just a moment. Here's another right wing host, Glenn Beck, with his recent interview of Donald Trump asking Trump if he regrets not locking up Hillary Clinton. And if you're president again, will you lock them up? And Trump's response is you have no choice but to do that. Here, play this clip. You said in 2016, you know, lock her up. And then when you became president, you said, we don't do that in America.

That's just not the right thing to do. That's what they're doing. Do you regret not locking her up? And if you're president again again will you lock people up well i'll give you an example uh the answer is you have no choice because they're doing a test i always had such great respect for the office of the president the presidency and but the office of the president and i never hit biden as hard as i have. And then I heard he was trying to indict me. Folks, that's not adjacent fascism.

That is fascism. Like what he is talking about, both how he is saying it, the incoherent nature of just his syntax, the structure of what he's saying, what in the world are you even saying? But how dangerous the stuff that he's saying. And MAGA Republicans are perfectly cool with that. Thank you. Thankfully, independents, people not affiliated with political parties, are joining progressives, liberals as part of this pro-democracy coalition and pushing back against this complete and utter menace. And finally, I'll leave you with this. Hugh Hewitt is a lawyer, and not only a lawyer, early in his career, he clerked for Judges Roger Robb and George McKinnon at the U.S. Court of Appeals for D.C., went to Michigan

Law School. Hugh Hewitt finished top of his class. He worked in the Reagan administration, ran the Reagan Library. But unfortunately, you know, you, you would also has kind of fully turned with this GOP kind of MAGA mutation that is the Republican party without any self-awareness that that's what's happening. But I can at least say this, you, you would in that questioning understands the law. That's to me in many ways what makes what these right-wingers do even more nefarious though, because Hewitt knows what Trump's saying is not just false, but a dangerous level of nonsense with the consequence of completely destroying the United States of America and our constitution. But these phony conservatives,

because they're not conservative, are just anointing this garbage, this goo-goo-ga-ga fascism, and acting and packaging it like this is some sort of valid statement. It isn't.
