As I always say here, we cannot cover our eyes and close our ears to the reality that the MAGA Republican Party is run like a cult. It has a cult leader who every single day posts things that are disqualifying. In normal times should be disqualifying it. Large media networks continue to give Donald Trump a pass. The MAGA Republican Party has officially taken over the Republican Party and is now a full-fledged cult and they support this
Starting point is 00:02:06 stuff. But it is vital that we call it out. Let's just take a look at some of the posts that he just made. Here's one that he made. He is posting Mark Levin, who's a whole story, a whole video calling the indictment by special counsel Jack Smith where Donald Trump stole thousands of classified records. And we now have him on audio recording. But for MAGA Republicans, they call that a BS indictment. And this is something that Donald Trump is posting and sharing. It's all part of the grift, though. He promotes the psychophants who continue to just spread lies and lies and lies. Here's the next post Trump goes. Thank you to the now legendary Greg Jarrett for so much work on the long-running witch hunt.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Again, part of the grift promoting somebody who's writing an article that's just completely false and saying the Presidential Records Act gives former President Donald Trump the right under law to maintain custody and control of papers classified or, absolutely doesn't stand for that proposition. Donald Trump posts all this stuff about, oh, the Clinton socks case, this, and I can steal whatever records I want. You can't. The Presidential Records Act says the exact opposite. It's all about a president, after he leaves office, turning over the records that don't belong to him. When they talk about this Clinton case, the Sox case, it is completely the opposite of what they say it stands for. It was filed by one of Donald Trump's closest supporters, who's not a lawyer, someone named Tom Fitton.
Starting point is 00:04:03 It was brought in 2012. And the court said, Fitton, you don't have jurisdiction, a federal judge said, you don't have jurisdiction to sue the National Archives to force Bill Clinton to turn over personal notes for his personal autobiography from 12 years ago. First off, who are you, Fitton? You can't file that lawsuit here. And in any event, it's Clinton's personal notes. Look, if Donald Trump took personal notes and had personal records and identified them and said, these are my personal records, then under the Presidential Records Act, he could claim that they're personal records, personal notes, personal autobiography. But he hasn't claimed, his lawyers
Starting point is 00:04:46 have never claimed because it would be preposterous and simply isn't true that the government's classified records, our nuclear codes, war plans, other highly sensitive information about weapon systems, he's never claimed them as his personal records that belong to him. He's never made that legal filing. He had the opportunity, by the way, to make that legal filing in court. He hasn't because it isn't the case. And if he claims that they are personal, it would just be another criminal admission. Here is the next post that he made. It's a photo that someone, a MAGA supporter took of Chris Christie, I guess trying to shame Chris Christie for his body weight or for sleeping and resting after a good 25 minutes of work. And just again, Donald Trump Trump continues to mock the physical appearance of people in postings.
Starting point is 00:05:45 It's just so undignified. I mean, you wouldn't even expect this from a petulant third-grade immature bully. The fact that this is someone who MAGA Republicans want to give the nuclear codes to is utterly despicable. And by the way, this was the response by Chris Christie to Donald Trump's post. It is a great one. He goes, living rent free in Donald's head. Make me a permanent resident. And then he puts his donation link.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Here's the photo right there. Ben Micellis here. Trump goes, I predict that the racist district attorney in Atlanta with the per capita worst crime record in the country, Fawny Willis, where murderers get away with murder and are seldom charged and almost never prosecuted, will be dropping all charges
Starting point is 00:09:12 against me for lack of a case. I made a perfectly legal phone call as president of the United States about an election that I strongly feel was rigged and stolen. None of the many lawyers on the call minded my words or even hinted at wrongdoing. Scam! First off, everything he's saying here is false. I want to remind you that back on March 26th, Donald Trump made posts and also told reporters that it was his understanding the Manhattan District Attorney was dropping all charges against him. Four days later, Trump was indicted. In other words, Trump lies about freaking every single thing. Also notice the language that he uses here. He says, I strongly feel was rigged. That's different than what he normally says, where he normally says it is rigged or he spreads election lights saying it was false, it was fraud.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Notice him using the word I strongly feel was rigged and stolen. Also shows you that he realizes what he's trying to avoid is showing intent by saying, oh, it's just a feeling that I had. But as if we don't have all of his other messages that we've talked about here on the Midas Touch Network and that Jack Smith and Fonny Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney, doesn't have access to them. And also, charges can't be dropped if they're not yet brought. Fonny Willis has presented evidence before a special grand jury. They've made recommendations of charges. Those recommendations then go to a grand jury, but Trump has not been indicted yet. He has not been charged yet in Fulton County with any crimes yet. He's going to be,
Starting point is 00:10:53 I suspect, and Fulton County District Attorney Fawnie Willis has basically said that somewhere around late July, early August, the Fulton County Sheriff's Department should prepare for a high profile arrest, indictment, and arraignment. So by all accounts, we believe that's when Trump is ultimately going to be indicted. But again, it's a bunch of nonsense and lies that Donald Trump is spreading. The exact same tactic he used right before he was indicted by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Trump is reposting this from the day before. He goes, this is a great day for America. People with extraordinary ability and everything else necessary for success, including future greatness for our country, are finally being rewarded. This is the ruling everyone was waiting
Starting point is 00:11:41 and hoping for, and the result was amazing. It will also keep us competitive with the rest of the world. Our greatest minds must be cherished, and that's what this wonderful day has brought. We're going back to all merit-based, and that's the way it should be. What he's referring to there is the case called Students for Fair Admissions versus Harvard University and North Carolina University. Students for Fair Admissions versus Harvard University and North Carolina University. Students for Fair Admissions is an AstroTurf group brought by a Federalist Society person by the name of Edward Blum, who brings these cases to try to promote discriminatory conduct against underrepresented groups under the veil of group names like students for fair admissions. This was a horrific six to three Supreme Court decision. In my opinion,
Starting point is 00:12:34 I think it's a bad decision because what the Supreme Court ruled is that universities and colleges can't consider diversity at all in their admissions process. It can't even be a factor. We've heard the term affirmative action before, and I don't really use the term here, even though that's the term that's frequently used, because I don't know if you know this, but the Supreme Court precedent dating back to the 1970s is that any type of quota system the Supreme Court had all previously held in the 70s was unlawful. So there's no affirmative action quotas allowed. In 2003, the United States Supreme Court said you can't have any point-based system. So if schools are considering applicants, applicants from underrepresented communities can't get more points
Starting point is 00:13:24 than, say, someone from not an underrepresented communities can't get more points than, say, someone from not an underrepresented community. So you can't get 10 points, 5 points. You're not allowed to do that. That's breaking the law. So the precedent that existed as of 2016, we believe we're supposed to follow precedent. There's the Supreme Court concept of stare decisis. You follow the law, you follow precedent dating back to the 70s and then affirmed recently in 2016 is that simply universities, no quotas are allowed, no point system is allowed, no ranking system is allowed, but you are allowed to factor in diversity as one of many factors. You can't weigh it more heavily, but you can factor it in. And all of the major American corporations filed what's
Starting point is 00:14:05 called an amicus brief with the court saying this is critical for the American economy, the American Medical Association, that this is critical for the delivery of medical services, and people will end up dying if the ruling is that we can't factor in diversity into the admissions process in medical schools because it is important to have diverse medical students helping out communities that they come from. But the Supreme Court said, we don't care about that. Specifically, six three decisions, six right-wing justices said, screw it, we don't care, and overturned all of the Supreme Court precedent. And why I don't like this ruling, there's a lot of reasons, but the Supreme Court basically said you can't factor in diversity at
Starting point is 00:14:56 all. What they said was by factoring in diversity, that is the same thing as like supporting segregation, that promoting diversity is like promoting segregation because when you promote diversity, the Supreme Court's illogical reasoning goes, inherently you are focused on race and race as a characteristic. And everything has to be, they say, race neutral, which is completely a
Starting point is 00:15:26 misnomer because if you look into legacy and missions and all the other ways that creates unfair balances, that isn't race neutral at all. And the purpose of our civil rights statutes was to try to address serious and significant historical wrongs that were committed and to try to prevent in the future unequal playing field. That's the goal. So for the Supreme Court to say exactly that diversity equals discrimination, basically, is to me very, very, very dangerous. Donald Trump then cites a poll by Cat Turd. This is like a major right-wing influencer. This is who Republicans look up to, a Cat Turd anonymous Twitter account who does polls.
Starting point is 00:16:21 That's their polling right now from Cat Turd. And then, of course, there is this video of Donald Trump here that he posted of himself. There's a longer clip, but I'll just play you a short clip from it. At the Moms of Liberty event in Philadelphia, Trump spoke at this event. They're a right-wing group that wants to ban books and ban teaching on diversity. Trump brags about having appointed three Supreme Court justices and says he looks forward to trying to have seven or eight or even all of the justices play this clip. You know, many presidents never get the opportunity
Starting point is 00:17:01 to appoint a Supreme Court justice. I had three. They are going. They are not happy about that. And maybe we'll get three or four more. Can you imagine? Let's get seven. Let's have seven or eight or maybe even nine. Just shows you how dangerous, dangerous this is. The Supreme Court also ruled on Friday in a six to three decision that a business that publicly advertises under the First Amendment can discriminate against protected classes. The case was called 303 Creative LLC versus Ellenis. It can discriminate if it claims it's a First Amendment right and they don't want to allow certain people to enter their business
Starting point is 00:17:51 or to do business with people. It's a First Amendment right, and they could just say under their religion, they're allowed to discriminate, and to stop their conduct of discriminating somehow impacts their First Amendment rights and fringes on it. That's what the Supreme Court held. And by the way, in that case, the purported plaintiff who was supposed to be a web designer for weddings, like didn't even own a web designing, like had never made a website before. And the supposed people who approached them to supposed to be a gay couple that approached them to make
Starting point is 00:18:26 the website isn't even a real couple. It's just like a made up thing that the person whose name is linked was a straight person married for 15 years who had no clue how their name was even brought into this. But like, just, I want you to show you this, like the Supreme court also on Friday struck down Biden's student debt relief program. You got President Biden doing everything he can under the powers that he's allowed under the law to provide student debt relief. And you have this radical extremist Supreme Court with three Trump appointees on the bench that struck down Biden's plan. But look what the reporter says. Why did you give millions of Americans false hope? Are you kidding me? Watch Biden's plan. But look what the reporter says. Why did you give millions of Americans false hope? Like, are you kidding me? Watch Biden's response to this. Play this clip.
Starting point is 00:19:08 We're going to get this done, God willing. Thank you. Mr. President, why did you give millions of borrowers false hope? You've doubted your own authority here in the past. I didn't give any false hope. The question was whether or not if I would do even more than was requested. What I did, I thought was appropriate and was able to be done and would get done. I didn't give Boris false hope, but the Republicans snatched away the hope that they were given. And it's real, real hope. Thank you. Yeah, that's why I think like large media networks, by and large, I feel like they are trying to promote fascism. Like they're trying to promote it. What kind
Starting point is 00:19:47 of question is that? How is that even rooted based on just the way our laws work? Biden's doing everything he can. You have fascists who are the ones crushing the hope. Biden's trying to get things done. I'm Ben Micellis from the Midas Touch Network. Hit subscribe. We're on our way to 1.5 million subscribers. Thanks to your support.
