Donald Trump got mercilessly booed over the weekend when he showed up at the Libertarian Convention. He tried to have the Secret Service confiscate the squeaky chicken
toys that the Libertarians who attended the convention wanted to squeeze while Donald Trump was giving the speech.
Apparently, Donald Trump doesn't realize that other things make noises other than squeezy chicken toys,
and the libertarians who attended the convention, once they reclaimed their seats from the MAGAs who tried to flood the room first, showed Donald Trump what people
outside of the MAGA cult really think about him. So then Donald Trump went to Charlotte
to watch a NASCAR race because Donald Trump can't draw big crowds on his own anymore. He shows up at stadiums and then he pretends that the people
who are there to just watch sporting events or other things are clapping to him or clapping at
him. Donald Trump was taking videos in front of the stadium while the stadium was applauding for the race and trying to pretend that they were clapping for him.
Another stunt backfiring in Donald Trump's face and one that was quite pathetic. Speaking of
pathetic, Donald Trump's Memorial Day post, nothing short of pathetic, but it's what we've
come to expect from him, just saying abhorrent and ridiculous
and offensive things. Meanwhile, President Biden reflecting and recognizing this august day for
what it is and the meaning for those who made the ultimate sacrifices for our nation. Donald Trump's criminal trial continues tomorrow.
Closing arguments will be taking place,
and the jury will likely get the case and start their deliberations.
That means a verdict can come as early as tomorrow.
Just think about that.
While corporate media has just done a horrific job
reporting about what's going on and preparing the American people for what's happening,
there may be a jury verdict as early as tomorrow. And Donald Trump recognizes that he's continuing
to post over and over again, Also making statements about the jury not being
sequestered, which I believe is also a violation of the gag order. Seems that Donald Trump is
trying to trigger a mistrial to get out of accountability. That is not going to happen.
The judge and the prosecutors are wise to Donald Trump's stunts and schemes.
Speaking of being wise to Donald Trump's stunts and schemes and the inherent danger he poses,
special counsel Jack Smith at the end of last week filed a emergency motion for a gag order before Judge Eileen Cannon to include in the pretrial release conditions
prohibitions on Donald Trump making false and defamatory statements that the FBI and DOJ
tried to assassinate Donald Trump during the execution of the search warrant on August 2022, because as part of the discovery
that was produced, the standard use of lethal force protocol that's used in every search warrant
that always takes place, no matter who it is, was turned over. So Donald Trump and right-wing
propaganda media, with Trump always wanting to play the victim in the ultimate act of victimhood, claim that the DOJ and FBI tried to kill him.
And what special counsel Jack Smith is calling Judge Eileen Cannon out for attacked because Trump is telling his cult that they are trying to kill him.
And that needs to stop.
I think special counsel Jack Smith is also laying the groundwork when Judge Eileen Cannon does the wrong thing to bring her conduct to the attention of the 11th Circuit.
So what special counsel Jack Smith's doing there serves those dual purposes.
Brett and Jordi, a special edition here for Memorial Day.
We want to thank all the Midas Mighty for joining us on Memorial Day.
On this Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the
ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten. Let us all pay our respects to their
legacy by doing everything we can to honor them and to protect our democracy here in the United
States of America. Brett and Jordy, how are you both doing today? Doing great. I want to thank the Midas Mighty for joining us. I know a lot of you may have a day off,
so I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to spend it with us to get
all the various updates. Days like Memorial Day really remind me why we do what we do here and the importance of the values that we are trying to protect and
defend every day and trying to live up to those brave men and women who have made those incredible
ultimate sacrifices for our country. And it's why I would never want their sacrifices to be in vain. And when you see this contrast of leadership that we have
before us, when you see this just vile anti-democratic MAGA movement, this rise of autocracy
in the country, all wrapped in the flag, all wrapped in the iconography of patriotism, I think
it shows why we need to push back on these lies because the lies are
getting more egregious every single day. They're really ratcheting up the rhetoric as Donald Trump
gets closer to a potential conviction, as it's getting revealed that Donald Trump may not be as
popular as a lot of people try to pretend he is. Once he goes out of his bubble, you see this MAGA madness just
erupt. And I think this weekend really put it on display, this contrast between their obvious lies
meeting reality in a way that they couldn't even lie their way around. And they tried.
They tried. Don't get me wrong. And we'll break all that down as well. But I got to say, it was nice to see Donald Trump get booed ruthlessly to his face.
I believe he turned from his signature orange color to like an orange-red color.
He really could not handle being booed on the stage.
It was a shock to him, and his people could not rig the crowd quick enough without the libertarians fighting back in that convention.
It was really something to see.
I'm excited.
I think I could play those clips over and over.
You heard of a blood orange martini.
It's a blood orange Donaltini.
Blood orange.
Yeah, it was a color of blood.
Blood orange Donaltini.
Anyway, I'm excited.
I could watch those clips all day long,
but first I'll see Jordy. How you
doing, man? I'm doing well. No, I mean, we're definitely going to get into all of that. I can't
wait. I mean, his campaign has honestly just been run so poorly. I'm really excited to break down
those clips. But yeah, Brett, I just want to take a moment to thank our audience for joining today.
Y'all could be anywhere. I know it's an off day for a lot of folks, but the fight for democracy
never stops. So really just a huge shout out to the Midas Mighty and the entire audience tonight tuning
in, listening.
And let's get this bad boy going, Ben.
Where are we going to lead off today?
Let's lead off with President Biden's post on Memorial Day.
President Biden writes, since America's founding, our service members have laid down their lives
for an idea unlike any other, the idea of the United States.
Today, as generations of heroes lie in internal peace, we live by the light of liberty they kept
burning. May God bless them always. And then the post is next to the Arlington Cemetery says, we must never forget the price that was paid to protect our democracy.
We must never forget the lives these flags, flowers and marble markers represent.
A mother, a father, a son, a daughter, a sister, a spouse, a friend, an American, and of course, President Biden lost a son, Beau Biden,
who had served in the military. He had contracted cancer. He was exposed to burn pits there. One of
President Biden's initiatives through the PACT Act was to make sure our veterans got the health care services that they needed.
And as we talked about on the last episode of the Midas Touch podcast, over one million PACT Act
health care claims have been filed by veterans where they otherwise would not get the health
care they need and deserve. So that's what President Biden's posting. On the other hand,
here's what Donald Trump posted on Memorial Day. Trump wrote, happy Memorial Day to all,
including the human scum that is working so hard to destroy our once great country,
and to the radical left Trump-hating federal judge in New York that presided over, get this,
two separate trials that awarded a woman who I never met before a quick handshake at a celebrity
event 25 years ago, doesn't count, $91 million for defamation. She didn't know when the so-called event took place sometime in the 1990s,
never filed a police report, didn't have to produce the dress that she threatened me with.
It showed negative and sung my praises in the first half of her CNN interview with Alison Cooper,
but changed her tune in the second half. Gee, I wonder why under appeal? The rape charge was
dropped by a jury exclamation point or Arthur and Goran, the New York state wacko judge who
fined me almost $500 million under appeal, capitalized words, for doing nothing wrong,
capitalized words, used a statute that has never been used before,
gave me no jury, Mar-a-Lago at 18 million, now for Merchan, exclamation point. I mean,
you just look at that. It's the ranting and ravings of a lunatic. Not only is everything
he says false, but so utterly vile, spending the time defaming someone who you were found by a jury
to have sexually assaulted. That's how you're spending your Memorial Day, attacking judges,
misogynistic, anti-LGBTQ statements, constant lies. I mean, again, just the words are horrific, but the words also reflect the lowest possible human character.
And, you know, it's always projection and confession.
So when he starts off talking about human scum and then proceeds to show exactly the behavior of what that is embodied in himself right there.
I mean, is this somebody who you want to give nuclear codes to, to make life and death decisions
over you, your family, your communities, your loved ones, this country, the world?
It is so utterly, utterly pathetic.
Brett and Jordy, what do you make of it?
It's sickening.
And it's honestly,
when you read some of his posts also, it's like written in a different language. You need an
interpreter almost to even understand what the hell he's talking about. I wonder if people who
don't follow him and follow these posts on a daily basis, if they were to see that,
would even be able to understand what he is saying. But what Trump and his entire family, what they always do is they always have
to make it about themselves. They can never give the day. Today is about our fallen soldiers.
That is what Memorial Day is about. And they always need to be the spotlight of attention.
And it was like Eric Trump's post the other day, which was absolutely sickening as well. There was somebody online who
did a post of, and I'll pull it up right here. It was of Donald Trump, of Melania, of Eric,
of Kimberly Guilfoyle, not Gargoyle, of Eric and Lara Trump, go Lara, go. And this person,
this is such a typical account that would be trolling you on
Twitter. Freedom, they have a flag in their name. They have a hawk or an eagle. They have a bunch of
letters and numbers in their username. And it says, the family that gave up everything
to save America. Thank you. Eric Trump responds, and we will do it again. American flag,
American flag, American flag emoji. These people did not sacrifice shit. They did not sacrifice
anything. And two, it's bad enough that that random individual posted this on Memorial Day
and tried to act like it was the Trump family who sacrificed this weekend.
But a billion times worse, obviously, that you have Eric Trump himself amplifying it,
going along with it, saying we will do it again.
And once again, like we said in the beginning, using these images of Americana, using the
flag, using the eagle in order to push something forward that is so anti-American, that is so
antithetical to everything the country stands for. You see that in this entire MAGA movement
over and over again. And look, when you look at the two candidates, when you look at President
Biden and you look at Donald Trump, and for the crowd out there that says, man, I don't know,
they're both the same. They're really not. Just take one glimpse at these posts and you could just tell President
Biden, just a genuinely like good hearted person. And it's not like I'm not being weird about it.
He is like in everything that he's shown, he actually looks to be like he cares about other
people. Donald Trump, to your point, just continues to make everything about himself.
And Brett, to your other point about these posts being on a more national stage,
sort of as we get closer and closer to the election with people paying more and more attention,
that's why I cannot wait for the debates. Because once you put Donald Trump up there,
who literally can't get a sentence out without just sounding like a complete lunatic next to
President Biden, who the right-wing media has done everything in their job to make it like
President Biden can't put out a coherent sentence. Again, it's all just deflection and projection.
Once you put those two together on a national stage for the American people to decide before
any spin gets to it, I mean, the choice is not going to be any more clear for the American people.
Look, you're not going to find almost any other media outlet that's going to report
on Donald Trump's posts that we just read
for you other than the Midas Touch Network. I mean, just think about that, right? If President
Biden made a post like that, Hunter Biden's going to trial very shortly. Could you imagine if on
Memorial Day, President Biden made some sort of post saying, especially these corrupt prosecutors
who are going after my son, who are part of a deep state effort.
The deranged Robert Hurd is the prosecutor.
After the plea agreement was blocked by a corrupt judge, it would be the front page story,
the front page story in every single media outlet. Memorial Day to show his respects to her and to be with her on Memorial Day, where her now late
husband was a service member. And people are saying, you know, I've seen media reports out
there saying, oh, you know, she could be a witness at the Hunter Biden trial. This is inappropriate.
Like the media wants to focus on things like that. And it's like, take a look at what Donald Trump. That was disgusting.
Take a look at what Donald Trump just posted.
I also reflect, Brett, as we look at the post by Eric Trump there and Donald Trump's post today, one of the earlier videos that we did like four years ago.
And I even forgot that we made this video early. We did so many videos that I was
just looking through the archive and the library that we did. And we did this video called Draft
Dodger Don. Some of you may remember it, the OGs from the early days. But let's play this video
and see if y'all remember it. Play this clip. I didn't serve. I haven't served. I had a foot thing and I get that deferment for that.
Mr. Trump said, you think I'm stupid? I'm not going to Vietnam.
Let's take John McCain. He's a war hero because he was captured.
I like people that weren't captured, okay? I always wanted to get the Purple Heart.
This was much easier. I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me.
The president called former Defense Secretary James Mattis the most overrated general.
Russian intelligence officers offered to pay the Taliban to kill American troops.
President Trump was told about this in March, and he has done nothing.
The president called U.S. service members buried in France losers and suckers.
His visit was scrubbed because the president feared the rain would ruin his hair.
When Senator John McCain died, the president told his senior staff,
we're not going to support that loser's funeral.
We keep people accountable for the way they treat our veterans.
And if they don't treat them well, we say, sorry, you're fired.
Get out.
Yeah, it was a pretty powerful video that we did back then.
And by the way, the reporting and sourcing for those events come from people who worked for Donald Trump, like Donald Trump's former chief of staff, the retired General John Kelly, who says do not vote basically like Trump is so unhinged, he cannot be trusted with anything. This is the statement that John Kelly made about
Donald Trump last year, but I think it's worth repeating on Memorial Day. This comes, again,
from Donald Trump's former chief of staff and a retired general. He says the following,
a person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat or spend years being tortured as prisoners of wars are all suckers because there is nothing in it for them, Kelly said of Trump.
A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because it doesn't look good for me.
A person who demonstrated open contempt for a gold star family, for all gold star families
on TV during the 2016 campaign and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives
in America's defense are losers and wouldn't visit their graves in
France.
By the way, that's referring to a 2018 visit, an American cemetery in Paris that Donald
Trump did not want to go to because he said that those who were killed in combat were
losers.
And specifically, the people who were buried there lost their lives in a 1918 World War I battle.
And Donald Trump was also quoted as saying, who were the good guys and who were the bad guys in that specific battle? Former chief of staff, a person who cavalierly suggests that a selfless warrior who has served his country for 40 years in peacetime and war should lose his life for treason in expectation that someone will take action.
That's a reference to the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, who Donald Trump said should get the death penalty. A person who
admires autocrats and murderous dictators, a person that has nothing but contempt for our
democratic institutions, our constitution, and the rule of law. There is nothing more that can be
said, Kelly added, God help us. And here was Donald Trump's team's response to what John Kelly
said. This comes from Steve Chung, Trump's campaign spokesperson, who goes, John Kelly
has totally clowned himself with these debunked stories he's made up because he didn't serve his president well while working as the chief of staff.
Just think about that. Some of you may have even forgotten about that, right?
Think about how that is not talked about by corporate media every single day. How could
you get more disqualifying than that? As John Kelly says,
there's nothing more that can be said. God help us. But we also need to help ourselves. We need
to be the change that we're looking for. And we need to make sure we get this message out. But
Brett, I reflect on that a ton while on Memorial Day. And that's why it's so important that all the Midas Mighty get the message out about
who this person is.
I want to say this.

So Donald Trump is always surrounded by this MAGA cult bubble that then is amplified by corporate media to act like these crowds are big. And look, a lot of these people
follow Donald Trump around the country from speech to speech to speech. And the crowd sizes
are never what Donald Trump says they are. But he's normally surrounded by his cult base in these very kind of carefully scripted moments
and these stunts that he pulls and the media loves, put him in a subway, get an intern who
works for the Republican Party, who's worked for Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens, to give him a hug
and then push the narrative that, oh, a black woman gave Donald
Trump a hug in a Chick-fil-A must mean he's gaining black support.
It's like, first off, that's just incredibly racist and horrific that he's going to a Chick-fil-A
after making a visit to billionaires to kind of make the media report that.
But then the media reports that, or when he goes to a bodega in Harlem, but it turns out it's the New York Young Republicans that are there. You could give countless examples. He goes to the non-union shop in Michigan, has people hold up the sign saying union workers for Trump who aren't union workers, and the media will report that. He gives a speech in Wildwood, New Jersey,
where he talks about the late, great Hannibal Lecter and his bizarre fetishes for fictional
serial killers in movies who he thinks, I think, are real. And even though the entire venue doesn't
hold 20,000 people, the media reports 80,000 to 100,000 people in attendance. Or when
Donald Trump spoke in the Bronx to a very small crowd and many of them left during the middle of
the speech, a lot of these people were the same types of people we've seen at all of these other
speeches across the country who follow him around. And he brought up on stage someone who's been charged with gang activity
and gang murder and multiple attempted murder, someone named Chef G and Sleepy Hollow, because
the way Donald Trump wants to show that he has the support of the black community was
he brought Lawrence Taylor, who's on the sex registry, sex offender registration at the Wildwood event.
And then Donald Trump brings up on the stage Chef G and Sleepy Hollow, who've been accused of murder, multiple counts of attempted murder and other types of very serious, serious felonies.
There's like videos of these of these uh alleged shootings that are taking
place but um but no the media wants to report oh it looks like there's a diverse diverse crowd in
the bronx it's like okay he's bringing up like actual accused murderers consistently on the
stage like can you just report some of the basic facts and it was not in any in any other world
pre-trump or pre this current day media,
whatever the heck is going on, Donald Trump's outreach to black Americans would be rightfully
viewed as the most offensive thing on the planet and one of the biggest scandals on the planet.
I mean, let's wheel out some sneakers. This is what we're going to do. We're going to bring
out some sneakers. Here are some convicted felons we're going to put on stage. Hey,
have you seen my mugshot?
And then Fox goes along with it.
All these other kind of right wing networks go along with it.
It's like beyond the most offensive thing you could even like think up.
Yeah, it's horrific.
So you know the expression, though, never get high off your own supply.
Trump got high off of his campaign, got high off their own propaganda,
right? They believe the crap that they were selling, that he's actually popular. And we
keep saying he isn't. It's just if you craft these events, yes, you're going to have the
MAGA cult support him, but cults have existed throughout America. Cults draw big crowds. In fact, you want to go
back to the history of big cults in America, much bigger crowds than Donald Trump would go to,
and they would pay for it. And these Trump events are like free events anyway. So to get cult
members to show up at cult gatherings, it's not really a massive accomplishment. So I think they
got high on their own supply and someone's like,
let's put him in front of the libertarians and let's basically run the same script and have
Donald Trump say, because I'm accused of these crimes, I believe that there really shouldn't
be a government. And then I'm going to get cheered by all the libertarians by saying that all of
government should be abolished because I'm being charged with crimes. So that was like
the thesis behind this. So they show up at this libertarian convention. And before, I think there
were signs that this was going to be a disaster for Donald Trump. The days before people, every
time in the convention, Trump's name would be mentioned, people would start booing him. Then we saw that RFK Jr.'s team started
passing out these squeaky toy chickens that they were going to start squeezing when Donald Trump
would give his speech. When other convention speakers mentioned Donald Trump's name,
people would just boo him. And so we were like, this is going to be an interesting one.
So then we said, okay, what's the Trump team trying to pull?
Well, first we learned that Trump ordered the Secret Service to confiscate the squeaky toy chickens.
So at a libertarian convention where they believe in less to no government, Donald Trump is using government force to confiscate toy chickens.
By the way, as though that's the old – like first off, why is our taxpayer dollars going to confiscating toy chickens, number one? Number two, it's absolutely
hilarious. But by that logic, shouldn't they then confiscate people's sneakers and shoes
and other signs? It's not like a toy chicken is the only thing that you can throw. And in fact,
if you threw a toy chicken or you squeaked a toy chicken, it's probably would cause less harm
than other things. But anyway, they want to confiscate the toy chicken. Then the next thing
that they tried to do, the MAGA cult, is while the libertarians were in the other room watching
other speakers, they were setting Donald Trump in a different room, kind of in the upstairs area.
And then so Trump had all of his MAGA people who were not even registered to be at the
Libertarian Convention show up to try to block the Libertarians from being able to attend the
Donald Trump speech. So you would flood the room with MAGA culties, the Red Tie Brigaders, get them
in there and then not have the Libertarians. But they didn't really think that out because the
Libertarians control their own convention. So they were like, okay, we're going to move you in the back.
This is our convention. We're going to put our seats in front of your seats.
So then they reconfigured it where the libertarians then showed up and the libertarians
were then extra pissed that at their own convention, their rubber chickens were being
confiscated and their seats were being taken.
Kicking out of their own seat at their own convention. The nerve, the nerve, the nerve,
the nerve. And how misguided even from a strategic perspective, like Ben was saying,
the libertarians who believe in like the most hands-off government possible. Donald Trump is
using the government while he's not even in power, while he's not even in power. He's just a
random citizen speaking at this event, and he's using the Secret Service to try to box these
people out of seats, sending in these DC young Republicans. That's his move, right? He always
gets the young Republicans in all the places to try to box out the libertarians from the seats
in their own event, and he didn't think that would backfire on him? What the heck is he thinking?
The campaign has just been run so poorly, Trump's campaign, for so long. The fact that he doesn't
have any spend to put on TV, just in general, too, to advertise or broadcast, is hilarious.
It really just goes to show just the utter incompetence of the whole thing. This is why,
I low-key, it might be a controversial take.
I love the AstroTurf events where Trump positions himself in front of the stage crowd. Now, I don't think corporate media is ready to meet that moment and rightfully call it out as well
as we do here in the Midas Touch Network and as well as the Midas Mighty does from day to day.
But I love it because, Ben, to your point, then all of a sudden Trump and his inner circle,
they start to get high off their own supply. Like, I'm really popular. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to show up to this event
and they're going to love me because they're just not rooted in reality. And the second that they
actually get positioned to live in reality for just a second, they just truly realize how utterly
unpopular they really are. Look, his first speech on the campaign was in Waco, Texas on the 30th anniversary of the siege at Waco.
So Donald Trump could appeal to the right wing extremists.
He then invited all of these people on stage who were saying things like, President Zelensky is running a homosexual cabal.
Like they would say things like that in the speeches.
And that's normalized
in their base. And so whatever. And so what I've said before is in terms of the debate,
the big moment in 2020 was Donald Trump saying, stand back, stand by to the proud voice.
That's like the tamest thing Donald Trump could possibly say at his current speeches. Donald Trump calls for
the complete disbanding of NATO. Donald Trump praises authoritarians. He has his own song with
the Jay Sixers, some of the most violent Jay Six insurrections. He's replaced our national anthem
with a new national anthem sung by the Jay Sixers. He goes, Joe, free the J Sixers, Joe,
Joe, free them. And so you want to take all, he goes, everybody agrees that Roe v. Wade being
overturned was the greatest thing ever. Every legal scholar believes that. And he gets high
on his supply and the media doesn't check him and the
crowds applaud that. But that is wildly unpopular in, you know, in the United States of America,
where he goes, the NRA loves me better than anybody. You put me in office, I'm rolling back
anything against guns. The second amendment is, he goes, I'm going to make it as beautiful
and powerful and strong as you always want it. He says any of these things at a debate,
and then people are going to be like, what, what? And then the media is going to be like,
whoa, this is so crazy. What a disaster. We're going to be like, no, he says this all of the
time. If y'all were doing
your damn jobs instead of pushing ridiculous poll narratives every week, oh, the poll,
the big crowd size, the this and that. If you were actually focused on reporting on,
I don't know, crazy concept here, this may be controversial as well, Jordy,
the news and what's actually being said and done. then when it repeats itself, it doesn't become,
and this may be controversial, a surprise. And it just is the thing that's been happening that
you just are not reporting on. So that's what's going to happen in the debate. I mean, it's very,
very clear. Anyway, let's go back to this libertarian convention. So Trump confiscates
the squeaky toy chickens. Finally, the libertarians get their
seats back. Trump gets mercilessly booed. Let's just take a look at some of these videos I'm
getting to hear. Trump's getting mercilessly booed. Let's play this video first. The libertarian
party should nominate Trump for president of the United States. Whoa. That's nice. That's nice. Only if you want to win. Only if you want to win.
Maybe you don't want to win. Maybe you don't want to win.
That's that blood orange Donald teeny face right there is what we call that. You see how bright red his face is.
Then Trump gets booed after saying that we need to form a partnership.
Here, let's play this clip.
Combined with us in a partnership.
We're asking that of the libertarians.
We must work together.
Combined with us.
You have to combine with us.
We cannot give crooked Joe Biden four more years.
Combine with us. You have to combine. We don't have to do anything.
You freaking sicko.
Libertarians notoriously love being told what to do.
He really knows his audience here. That's the crowd who loves to do this.
I am going to force you libertarians to combine with me
here trump promises them everything and gets booed let's play this clip that is why i'm
committing to you tonight that i will put a libertarian in my cabinet and also libertarians in senior posts pretty good
that's pretty big or you can keep going the way you have for the last
long decades and get you three percent and meet again, get another 3%.
More of that.
You also can't say the word libertarian. He says libertarian the entire time. What, Jordy?
No, I just got to say, The Art of the Deal is the biggest sham book in the world. The guy is
literally the worst negotiator ever. He's must have never read How to Win Friends and Influence
People because it's unbelievable. He doesn't know how
to cope with what's happening right now. His best backup plan for everybody booing said,
that's a good deal. That's good. That's good. And everyone just continues to rage the boos on him.
I mean, it is brutal. All you have to do is flatter him and he gives you literally anything.
He doesn't think through anything. He's lazy. He's sloppy. I mean,
we had Adam Kinzinger do it, did an interview and he talked about how one of the, you know,
President Xi just called Donald Trump up once and just basically said, hey, I need you to do this
for me. You know, you know, this will be very helpful. I will be very happy with you. And then Donald Trump changed a
fundamental policy and allowed potential spying on Americans through technology that Congress was
looking at because President Xi called them up and was nice to him on the phone call.
You think about the deal that Donald Trump did, which wasn't really a deal. It was just a full
surrender in Afghanistan where Donald Trump didn't even include
the existing Afghani government. He did a deal directly with the Taliban, released 5,000 Taliban
prisoners without preconditions, without anything at all, just released them. And then they just
took back over Afghanistan. And it's like, what was the deal that you did? And then left all of the equipment there to try to screw over the next administration,
which was a big boost to Vladimir Putin.
He is the worst dealmaker ever.
I mean, by the way, you want to actually, but he's one of the best con artists ever
to live, but the worst dealmaker.
So eventually the con catches up with reality. And then the question is, is how much damage and devastation is caused? I mean, look, just think, you think he's a great businessman. I think he's a great business person. Let's say you're a MAGA person watching this right now. Okay. where he does all of his posts, why is it that it only was able to earn in the last quarter
about $700,000 in revenue? It lost $300 million in the last three months and only made $700,000.
Now, a McDonald's franchise, not McDonald's, one McDonald's store earns substantially more
revenue than what Trump's entire media did in that quarter in maybe even one month.
A single McDonald's franchise will make more revenue than what Trump media did in the quarter.
But, and certainly is not losing $300 million. But he knows how to get that stock
price up high because he knows the pump. He knows the art of the con, and he knows how to drag those
MAGA cult members and retail investors along. And by the way, you know who's going to get screwed?
Y'all are who are holding that stock and those shares. Y'all are the ones who, in my opinion, are going to lose your life savings. Here,
Trump talks about being prosecuted and he gets booed. Let's play this clip.
Anyone can talk about defending freedom, but I've actually put everything on the line to resist
these despots and these stuff. And then in the ultimate Freudian slip, this is what he just said. The guy's just the moron.
This is what Trump said at the end of his speech. It's the ultimate projection. Here,
play this clip. You can either nominate us and put us in the position or give us your votes. I would say nominate or give us your votes. But we want
libertarian votes because you stand for what we stand for. And don't waste a vote. And don't allow
the worst president in the history of our country to come back and do the final destruction of
America. Thank you very much, everybody.
God bless.
That piece right there should be clipped by Biden,
and they should just run that on repeat.
I mean, he is talking about himself.
He is the snake who America let in.
He's the snake who he wants America to let back in,
that the media is just covering for.
And you just see historically
too, as you just think about how did these authoritarians get to power? How did smart,
sophisticated societies allow this to happen? And you just see the inability though of certain
institutions to deal with people like that. And it's such a strange incongruity because it seems so obvious
and it is so obvious. And the majority of the country, the majority of the people recognize
it is what it is. But when they play by a different set of authoritarian rules
and key parts of society just tap out and give up. It's such a strange
thing to watch in real time. But I do feel that we have this unique opportunity in real time
to do what the Germans weren't able to do when Hitler was taking power. We are in this moment
right now where we could actually call
it out and change the direction where history is going to go. Let's think about it like this.
If we weren't calling out the bodega stunt, the crowd size stunts, the non-union shop stunts,
if we weren't calling this out of what's really happening, if we weren't constantly pushing this out and shaming
the media into finally covering it, which they're just starting to do, they wouldn't cover this.
A different history would be written undoubtedly. So we can all, you could be the change you're
looking for. You don't have to rely on some prosecutor, this or that. We could be the change that we always wanted. I want you to think about that. And that's one of the reasons we're not funded by outside investors. So if you're able to help out, go to patreon.com slash Midas Touch. And I'm excited to meet you all on Thursday when we hold our exclusive Zoom meeting. When we get back, I want to talk about what Trump did after leaving
the libertarian speech, how the MAGA folks tried to spin it as though it was a successful event.
They go, this was great. He did really, really good. Let's talk about the criminal trial
developments that we expect to happen this week. Trump going to Charlotte for NASCAR,
and we'll talk about that more.

They're wonderful.
Ben, that's pretty sharp, man.
That's good stuff.
Thank you very much, Jordy.
You know what was not sharp and what was not good stuff?
Donald Trump's libertarian convention.
There we go.
A nice smooth transition right there.
What a transition.
Wow.
It's so funny, you know, the Trump culters
tried to like cover for it and act like this was a great speech. You had people like Monica Crowley,
she goes, you know, this like MAGA media person goes, one night, President Trump has the Bronx
cheering for him. The next night, he has the libertarians going wild for him.
He's expanding MAGA in unbelievable ways.
Absolute legend.
Then you had MAGA Senator Mike Lee goes, Trump knocked it out of the park tonight at the
hashtag libertarian convention.
By the way, I think we have footage of Mike Lee during the speech that he gave before Donald Trump.
This is MAGA Republican Senator Mike Lee getting quite literally booed off the stage before Trump.
And this is what they're like.
They want us to, again, live in their sicko false world, like dystopian world.
I want to live in reality, not where people are telling me this means the audience likes them.
Play this clip of Mike Lee.
I encourage you, take a listen to Donald Trump, support Donald Trump, restore the Constitution.
Thank you very much.
Then you had a bunch of other people like Stephen Miller, Caitlyn Jenner, Leo Terrell,
all these people posting. The speech was great. A historic night, leadership and vision personified.
And then you have Leo Terrell. Trump gave the smartest speech of the campaign season.
He gave the crowd undisputed facts as to why he's the best candidate to make America great again.
Grade A plus. These guys, people are so pathetic. And Ben, it's funny because a lot of these people were the same people who beforehand were freaking out about the speech. And we got to see this
propaganda work in real time. One of the things that we've tried to show on basically every episode of the Midas
such podcast, and especially over the past few weeks as Donald Trump has done these stunts
every week, sometimes multiple times per week is say, listen, you got to step back from it and not
buy his propaganda because everything they do is a scam. Quite literally everything they do is a
scam. That's why they do is a scam.
That's why with Wildwood, when he was saying 100,000 people, we had already read that it had
a capacity of 20,000 and we saw that the place wasn't even half full. We were like, that's BS.
And we couldn't, I mean, we could believe it because it's what keeps happening. But
when you saw like ABC News, the local ABC News, and you saw CNN, you saw the Associated Press that are supposedly – they tout themselves as these unbiased sources of news parroting that 100,000 number, which was completely BS.
And then, of course, two weeks later, the town spokeswoman goes, oh, no, 100,000 was our estimate of actually how many people were actually in the entire city that day.
Not necessarily.
Oh, you thought I was talking about the rally?
Oh, I don't know how you – no, I was talking about the whole city.
And then it comes out, and by that time, the damage is done.
What this libertarian event allowed, I think, all of us to see is kind of how the sausage is made in real time. Like you got to actually witness the anatomy
of the scam in public and all these libertarians, because they were the ones in control of the event,
got to push back against the scam in real time. So Ben just read that statement by Leo Terrell,
this MAGA influencer. Well, here's what Leo Terrell was saying before the speech when he
was panicking about it. He goes,
it's a trap against Trump. We must protect the president. And that was in response to somebody
named Johnny Maga on Twitter that says libertarian scum just kicked Maga out of the front row at the
convention so they could boo Trump. Yeah, it's not your convention. It's their convention. It's
their, it's quite literally their event.
You had Laura Loomer, another one of these MAG influencers, say, wow, look who is being seated front row at the Libertarian National Convention after Trump supporters were just told to leave the front row.
This is a setup and an ambush on President Trump by the Libertarian Party and RFK Jr.
You had these Republican groups tweeting out bizarre things. This is
the Washington DC young Republicans who the Trump folks were trying to flood into the event and take
the seats of the libertarian attendees at their own convention. They, they posted, uh, the DC
young Republicans watch regime libertarians tried to get security to kick the DC young Republicans out of seats
at the libertarian convention.
You could say a lot of things about libertarians.
Regime.
I mean, they don't have any power, okay?
Their big sign on the stage was make yourself ungovernable.
Regime libertarians.
Like, give me a break.
And it should show you, though.
It should be a real lesson to anybody taking cues
from any of these people. And like Monica Crowley, she was like, it's not going to surprise you.
She was a Fox correspondent for a very long time, wrote columns in the New York Post for a very long
time. Are you supposed to believe anything this woman says? Anything at all? If after that speech,
what she says is that the libertarians were going wild for him.
I mean, maybe wild for him in other ways, but certainly not in a positive way. And so just
the lies, the blatant lies, but I'm happy that people actually were able to see these lies on
full display and watch MAGA kind of panic in real time and watch them try to craft these
phony narratives around
it. And Brett, to your point, when you're showing how the sausage is made and you're looking at
Laura Loomer's, you know, her post and you're just going through Johnny MAGA, they're such
victims, right? Like there's such losers. Their whole instant gut reaction is to say,
oh my God, woe is me.
When they didn't, you know, right then when they did it wrongfully overthrow the fucking
government, sorry, I cursed on January 6th.
What were they?
They were hostages all of a sudden.
Just the complete victim mentality of this MAGA movement is so utterly pathetic.
And I'm just so happy that we have all the videos and that we were posting them
from our various channels and socials and the Midas Mighty are hip to the game that they could
spread the message that they're just liars. They're pathetic losers and liars. That's MAGA.
Then Donald Trump got a total of six votes from the people who have the ability to nominate at
the Libertarian Convention. That was under 1% of all of the
votes. To be clear, Stormy Daniels almost got more votes than Donald Trump. So did-
She got one vote.
She got one vote. Ben Dover got one vote. Donald Trump got less than 1% of the votes.
At the Libertarian Convention-
By the way, after he went on stage and promised them everything, just to your point, Jordy, about what a bad dealmaker is, he gave away everything, promised them every single thing, and he still got less than 1%.
That would be the art of not how to do a deal.
That is the exact lesson in what not to do.
So you've now promised them and made deals with them in theory.
I mean, nothing that Trump does is ever real. So you can never, all of his things he says are false and he just says
what people want to hear, but you've given them all of these things and they've returned less than
1% of the vote for you. And then Donald Trump goes, the reason I didn't file paperwork for
the libertarian nomination, which I would have easily, which I would have absolutely gotten
if I wanted, as everyone could
tell by the enthusiasm of the crowd last night, was the fact that as the Republican nominee,
I'm not allowed to have the nomination of another party. Regardless, I believe I will get a majority
of the libertarian votes. Just pause right there. That's not true. That's false. Again, he got less than 1% and he's claiming that
the crowd last night was enthusiastic for him. His tactics are the same of these like,
we talked about it. Remember the show, the movie, The Dictator with Sacha Baron Cohen that would parody the way authoritarians behave abroad,
like Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein with the Ba'ath Party that would set up all these things
and just tell these outrageous lies. And they would have Baghdad Bob and the woman who works
for Kim Jong-un who gets out all of the lies. And in the United States of America, we used to
mock that, right? We used to be like, we've got a sophisticated democracy here and take a look at
all this craziness going on abroad. How do people buy into those tactics? Well, it turns out that
when the Republican Party gave up on the experiment called democracy and allowed themselves to be taken over by the Red Hats, by the MAGA, by the Red Tie Brigade, and to become that
themselves, they embraced those tactics. And those tactics are effective over certain ways
that human beings think, in that you tell the big lie and you repeat it over and over and over again, and you catch
20% to 30% of the population that doesn't have the cognitive defenses for it or based on self-interest
or whatever their rationale is, they embrace it. They never get the majority in authoritarian
regimes. The Ba'ath Party was never the majority. Go across
authoritarian regimes, whether it was Hitler and the Nazis, whether it was Mussolini, it's always
20% to 30%, sometimes 35%, maybe sometimes a little. It's never the majority. So then how do
those tactics work, though, to allow that group to take over the majority?
It wears people down.
The majority starts feeling like, I can't stop this.
We're just going to go along with these massive lies.
So then people start feeling defeatist, and they give up, and then they buy into the inevitability
of the authoritarian conquest. They buy into the
narrative that there's nothing the majority can do. And then the group like the Ba'ath party or
the Magas, then they entrench themselves. They dismantle government, which is the Project 2025
project, dismantle the government, have it run by a dictator, which Donald Trump says,
I want to be the dictator on day one. And then that becomes the project to then control
the rest of the people who have all of their freedoms taken away. That's the plan. That's
the plot. They're telling us what they are doing. So after Donald Trump gets booed at the
Libertarian Convention, he goes to the Charlotte Motorway for a NASCAR race.
And then while the crowd is watching the game, Donald Trump starts making videos of himself waving to the crowd so his team can edit and cut it to make it seem like a big stadium is cheering for him.
Watch Donald Trump wave to nobody.
Play this clip.
Then he starts, he clearly doesn't know what the national anthem is or, because they start playing Amazing Grace and Donald Trump starts randomly saluting when the song Amazing Grace
comes up here.
Do we have the video of him doing Amazing
Grace? If we do, let's play it. and he's there with the nascar owner who doesn't know what to do right there
you know and so it's like should i do this? It's Richard Childress, who used to be a
NASCAR driver. He owns a race team. So he's just standing there now putting his hand on his heart
because Trump's saluting during the playing of Amazing Grace. Then Donald Trump, because he's
making these propaganda videos, starts saluting everything. He starts just walking around because
he's cosplaying dictator. And he just starts saluting people and saluting things and salutes a plane.
He salutes the plane flying over.
It's like his hand was just glued to his head the entire event.
He just starts saluting.
And then even before the event starts, if you want to see how kind of the propaganda even begins. So Trump flew his airplane over the stadium, which by the way,
it's how he uses kind of the levers of government when he's not in power. You can't just fly the
airplane over stadiums. So he coordinates that and arranges that with his government contacts.
Obviously he flies his airplane over the crowd crowd like the plane you saw.
And then as his plane goes over, they tell the audience to applaud.
They time it so that they tell the audience to applaud to Matchbox 20 so that they would get the applause while Trump's plane is going over when the crowd was applauding Matchbox 20.
But what Fox and what the right-wing media propaganda didn't take into account is you could hear the announcer still,
if you listen carefully, say, give it up for Matchbox 20.
They're not applauding the plane.
They're applauding the band that just played.
And Trump timed it so he would get the band that just played. And Trump timed it so
he would get the band applause for himself. Watch this.
Shut up, Motor Speedway. Let's hear it one more time for Matchbox 20.
That wasn't Matchbox 20. It was former President Trump aboard Trump Force One
flying over the Coca-Cola 600.
Yeah, the propaganda.
You haven't seen that one before, right, Jordy?
The first time I've seen it? Insane.
There's been so many crazy clips from this weekend. I missed that one. I mean, Brett, what were you saying? The propaganda from Fox News is utterly absurd. Yeah, from Fox and from Trump and all these kind of influencers that he
also coordinates with. That, of course, immediately gets pumped out. And they don't even take the
effort to edit out the sound where they say, give it up for Matchbox 20. But it doesn't really
matter to them at the end of the day. They know that most people aren't going to listen or that
most people in their bubble aren't going to care. They're going to get their propaganda out there.
So this Benny Johnson, this plagiarist who's become a big MAGA influencer, writes,
and the nerve, listen. If you listen, you'd see they're cheering for Matchbox 20.
Listen, alarm emoji. Trump flies over the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and causes the crowd
to go crazy. All caps on crazy. Literally, you hear them say, give it up for Matchbox 20,
who had just performed at the event. But you see now, the veil has been pierced on the making of
this propaganda over the weekend, and how desperate it is, and how weak that Donald Trump truly is.
It's really finally being put on full display at this point.
Well, I said, look, what Trump's campaign is running on, I've said it before. I just want
to keep repeating it. It's the strong man, weak man paradigm. That's what they want to create.
Trump doesn't have any issues to actually run on. He
can't even speak in sentences. So his whole thing is polls, push out polls. For years,
just push out the polls and let the polls become its own kind of self-fulfilling prophetic feedback
loop. Strong in polls, strong in polls, strong in poll, poll,
poll, poll, poll, poll, poll, poll, poll. Ignore the polls that show President Biden up, which by
the way, the polls are fairly even. But just emphasize the ones that have Donald Trump up
over and over again. Big polls, big crowd sizes, and then focus on that. Big audience, 80,000, 100,000, 125,000.
Get those big numbers so you just get the headlines, big crowd, big crowd, big polls,
and over and over and over again, get the media to report on that. Then arrange these stunts
every day. The media will report on the stunt. Trump in a bodega, Trump at a Chick-fil-A,
Trump there, Trump at NASCAR, Trump at all of these places with surrounded by crowds and fast
cars and flying jets. And just push that over and over again and expect that the media will want the
quick story and not go into Donald Trump's taking away reproductive rights.
Donald Trump's okay with states monitoring women's periods and pregnancies.
Donald Trump creates songs with the Jay Sixers and replaces our own national anthem.
Donald Trump wants to disband NATO.
Donald Trump will take away your social security. Donald Trump insults on a
frequent basis our veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives and
insults Gold Star families that Donald Trump can't even put sentences together. And the media will
just, you know, they want their photo. Trump and his team can frame the story in a way the media can put the nice little picture
with the race car and Donald Trump saluting and all of that.
And you get those elements, you package it, you push it to them.
And then the lazy media is like, oh, but if we write a bad story, he's going to sue us
or he's going to call us the fake news.
And then he's going to write mean posts about us or it's going to sue us or he's going to call us the fake news. And then he's going to write
mean posts about us, or it's going to be very difficult for me to write this story. So maybe
I'll just report on what the crowd size is based on what he's telling us and not actually do a
scintilla of independent research. And, you know, look, the media has been an abject failure in all
things, all things. And when you go into the specialties, like when I
do the coverage about business and SPACs and stocks, the media doesn't understand the way
it operates, but they pretend that they do. I was speaking with somebody, I'm like,
the media is like when you ask a man for directions. They will very confidently give you the wrong direction
over and over again. And they'll act like they know what they're doing, but it's not even coming
from research and data. Their coverage of the legal cases is the worst. And they're not even
preparing people that the likely scenario is that Donald Trump is convicted of multiple felonies this week.
They're not even preparing people for that.
They didn't discuss any of the evidence.
They didn't show people the transcripts.
They didn't focus on the checks that were signed.
They didn't focus on the government ethic disclosure signature where Donald Trump admitted in 2018 that there were reimbursements that were made to
Michael Cohen for his hush money payments. They don't focus on the court filings where Donald
Trump admitted that there were reimbursements made. They don't focus on the phone logs,
the photographs, the handwritten notes of Allen Weisselberg and Jeff McConaughey,
who worked for Donald Trump as the CFO and the controller,
respectively, that talk about the gross up scheme. They don't talk about Donald Trump's
posts where Trump called it a reimbursement. The media doesn't focus on that. The media focused
on out of a 21-hour period, one question that Michael Cohen responded to where Cohen's
recollection was refreshed that there might have
been two topics discussed on a 90 second phone call when we had previously heard other phone
calls with Cohen where like eight topics were discussed within like a one minute time span.
So why would it not be possible that multiple topics were discussed when that was the
pattern in practice? That was not the main phone call either. There were multiple phone calls. And then Donald Trump wrote the checks that were
ultimately made consistent with what his CFO and controller wrote about, about grossing
the payments to Cohen up. So it's like, can we focus on the facts and the evidence?
And the problem is, is that the media leaves people uninformed about the likely scenarios.
Look, it's my firm belief that Donald Trump is not going to be acquitted this week.
I think the likely scenarios are he's convicted or who knows if there's one or two rogue jurors
that ultimately lead to a hung jury.
Just hard to know.
The likely scenario one is conviction.
If you were to say, what do you think the odds of conviction are? Above 50%, the odds of conviction
are. What do you think the odds of it being hung are? I don't know. I would say probably more,
I don't want to give it a percentage, but smaller than 50, but I just don't,
it's hard to read the
minds of every juror. We have lots of sources who are in the courtroom. They said the jurors are
very close to their vest. They don't even really talk to each other. No one has a real good read
on what the jury's ultimately going to, if there's any holdouts here or not. I don't know. The evidence has clearly been
shown beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump committed a crime. So that's why those are
the likely scenarios. But you wouldn't know that watching corporate media. But by the way,
you want to see how Donald Trump's feeling about things? Here's what he's posting. He's like,
can anyone believe that the Soros-backed DA Al Alvin Bragg, was able to get a delay of seven days
to his corrupt and unconstitutional case against me with no sequester, legal expense equals legal
expense. The only thing Bragg has going for him is the corrupt and highly conflicted judge,
which is a lot. When he goes legal expense equals legal expense, exclamation point,
what the heck is he even talking about? The whole thing is that this was a reimbursement. It's not a hard, complicated concept. It was a reimbursement for hush money
payments that were made. That's not a legal expense. You are admitting that you are falsifying
the records of you said legal expense equals legal expense because reimbursement does not
equal legal offense. Also saying that there's some sort of conspiracy about a seven-day delay.
The delay has been caused by you. You had to go to your son's graduation, which you asked to have
off on Friday. The court gave you off on Friday. And then because you've forced a lot of records
to come in through custodians versus stipulating, that's probably stretched the case
out for three or four more days. The trial is dark on Wednesdays. And so that means with summations
that you would start summations after Memorial Day. I know Donald Trump doesn't know about
Memorial Day or thinks it's a time to talk about people who he considers to be human scum,
but it's an important day. It's an important
holiday. That's why court is dark. But don't worry, Donald, there will be trial tomorrow and there
will be summation tomorrow. And then him talking about the jurors being sequestered and not being
sequestered. And again, you're not supposed to talk about jurors. And in my view, that is a form
of juror intimidation to basically imply that the fact that they are not sequestered is going to result in them doing bad things.
And his spokesperson, Alina Haba, had previously stated that she says that they're going to come down with Trump derangement syndrome over the holiday.
She said they'll contract TDS in an interview that she gave with
Fox. But just think about it. Same tactics that Trump and them use to try to manipulate the media
with everything. And the media buys into it. And then Donald Trump posts, in addition to the fact
that I did nothing wrong, NDAs are totally legal and commonly used and that virtually every legal
scholar and expert says in written form that this
is a case which has no merit and should not have been brought. My lawyers have informed me that the
highly conflicted and corrupt judge, Juan Mershon, will not allow reliance on counsel, which virtually
everyone is allowed to use as an additional, though not needed because I did nothing wrong
defense this case, which could have been brought seven years ago, but was and has no merit.
So he puts these things in caps right there.
First off, by saying that NDAs are totally legal and commonly used, not when making hush money payments and falsifying business records to then also commit tax fraud or interfere with a election, a reliance on counsel defense requires that your lawyers request a reliance
on counsel defense, which means that you would have to testify that you relied on your lawyers.
You refuse to testify. Therefore, you can't do a reliance on counsel defense where you do not
agree to waive attorney-client privilege and testify which lawyer you relied on falsely.
Your claim, your lawyer's claim, was that these were legitimate legal expenses paid for services
rendered by Michael Cohen. No one ever claimed that you relied on a lawyer to falsify business
records. You'd have to admit that you falsified them, but say it was
the lawyer's fault for why you did that. That's not your defense. You were too cowardly to testify.
Trump's lawyers tried to request a presence of counsel defense, right? Like with everything,
it's gaslighting the presence of counsel. It's not reliance on counsel because Trump doesn't
want to testify. But judge, we want to call it a presence of counsel, that a lawyer was there. And Justice Marchand said,
there is no such thing as a presence of counsel defense. You're making that up. That's not the
law. I'm not going to allow that. So it's because Trump is too cowardly to testify that he can't
avail himself of a reliance on counsel. And that's not even what his lawyers are arguing. So jury will start deliberating on Tuesday, closing summation, closing arguments.
Summation will take place on Tuesday. We can have a verdict as early as tomorrow. I don't expect
that to happen though. I expect a verdict to happen on Friday would be my best guess or before Friday. If it goes on to Monday, I wouldn't get
worried. If it starts getting though into Monday afternoon or into Tuesday, I would start getting
worried that the jury would be hung around Tuesday if we don't get a verdict. So that's my view on
what I think is likely going to happen. We will keep everybody posted along the way, and we'll keep you posted
each step of the way. I just think this jury is very meticulous, very detailed oriented,
so they understand their role in history. From all I hear about this jury, I think they're going to
take a long time to go through it. They're not going to come back with a quick verdict,
regardless of what the outcome is. So that's why I think it'll last then. Finally, on Memorial Day, let me show
everybody this video. This right here is President Biden's message to the West Point class of 2024.
President Biden stood for more than an hour, returning a salute from and shaking the hands
of a thousand graduates
at the United States Military Academy at West Point as their class was called upon to tackle
threats across the globe and preserve the country's ideals at home and abroad like none
other, like none before. Here he is as well. Here's President Biden in the video that they put out.
Freedom is not free. It requires constant vigilance. And from the very beginning,
nothing is guaranteed about our democracy in America. Every generation has an obligation to defend it, to protect it, to preserve it, to choose it. Now is your turn.
There you have it.
There you have it, folks.
I want to wish you all a restful, but certainly reflective Memorial Day.
It is such an important day that we reflect on its true meaning here,
where we honor and remember the sacrifices of the brave men and women of our
armed forces who made that ultimate sacrifice to protect us and to preserve and protect
our democracy. Let us all pay respect to their legacy. I want to thank all the Midas Mighty for
