FDR assured us that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
JFK dared us to go to the moon.
Ronald Reagan implored, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall. Obama reminded us about the power of hope.
President Biden recently said, American democracy asks the hardest things to believe that we are
part of something bigger than ourselves. So democracy begins with each of us.
And convicted felon Donald Trump, he said over the weekend that he'd choose electrocution
over being eaten by a shark. Yes, convicted felon Donald Trump spoke in 100 to 110 degree weather based on what different people say who
were there in Las Vegas. Donald Trump, who's been bragging about all of the money he claims his
campaign is making, was not able to actually hold this event indoors with air conditioning. Donald Trump also repeatedly
spent time during this traveling fascist circus event that he calls a rally, yelling at the
contractors and cursing at them because he claimed the teleprompter wasn't working the way it was
supposed to. May I just give you a short list of the lowlights of what went down
at Donald Trump's June 9th speech in Las Vegas? He told the crowd, I don't care about you. I just
want your vote. I don't care. He told the contractors who set up the mic and teleprompter
that they did a quote S word job and he won't pay them, except Trump was cursing. He tells the audience that
they should choose suicide over President Biden. He complained about the teleprompter again. He
asked, do I get electrocuted or do I jump over by the shark? He claims he aced a dementia test twice,
not easy to ace. He says, He also says that there have never been people
ever in history more horrifically treated than the J6 hostages, as he refers to them as.
He called prosecutors a dumb son of a B-word. He complains the media is too focused on the health of the crowd in the hot Nevada,
Las Vegas, Nevada day when they should be caring about Donald Trump's health. He glitched multiple
times, then the speech end and he was whisked away in a private jet paid for by his donors as
he waved to nobody on the tarmac, a scene we've been seeing over and over again.
And I wanted to lead with that on the show before talking about other very important things as well,
because that is not normal. Okay. A convicted felon in Vegas saying those things, which by the way, you know that we've been covering a bunch of that stuff and all of the other traveling fascist circus events that he does. It ain't normal. We're was able to do it by Zoom.
And then he quickly posted, I'm living the American nightmare.
Can you believe this, friend?
I'm about to speak to a probation officer after my rigged conviction.
This is the leader of the Republican Party.
Happy birthday, Brett Midas Touch, co-founder. Brett Micellus,
big B-Day celebration here. Happy birthday, Brett. On behalf of the entire Midas Touch Network and
all the Midas Mighty out there, happy birthday. We love you. And there would be no Midas Touch without Brett the rock of the
Midas Touch Network well thank you brothers and thank you Midas Mighty I gotta say it's
it's a bit overwhelming to wake up in the morning and I saw that Ben had posted about the birthday
sometime late last night and I'm just receiving thousands and thousands of notifications of replies of messages of love.
Um, happy birthdays from the Midas mighty. It's one of the most surreal feelings on the planet.
Like either something has went horribly wrong or something incredibly great happened. But like
when you, when you wake up and you see just like you have 20,000 notifications, I'm like,
what, what's going on here? And, and just,
you know, I, I just saw all of them and I'm just so grateful and it's, it's the coolest.
And I'm so appreciative of, of everybody who left me a note on, on social media or sent emails and
all that stuff. I just saw Mark Hamill before, uh, wished me a happy birthday too. I got the
force with me as well.
Wow, that's cool.
That's pretty cool stuff.
But yeah, it's been a great
birthday. Lots of fun
surprises. I'm happy that Donald
Trump worked back in the shark electrocution
routine. One of the
favorites here.
Sometimes it's like we're
living in a sketch, right? is this one is that's one of his social experiment right like the routine that he
rather be electrocuted than eaten by sharks is perhaps slightly better than the routine where
he talks about a woman who he sees weight lifting who goes slightly better than that routine yeah yeah you know but uh you know he switches out the
greatest hits you know occasionally um on his various uh tours but i mean what what what an
what an absolute mess just such a absolutely bizarre thing to be witnessing but you know i
think we need to keep talking about just how how weird this is and how not normal it is. Because there's such an attempt
across the board to try to normalize these things and to try to gaslight us into thinking like,
oh, that's just how politics works in America. This is how politicians speak. This is how they
behave. And it's like, no, that's not the case, actually. It's not. And so we're going to push
back. We're going to talk about it. We're going to talk about how weird it is, how not normal it is. And we're going to contrast that with actual kind of
leadership and, and what politicians are supposed to be doing because we got to get back to normal.
That's all we want, right? We got to get back to normal. And then we could, you know,
confront a lot of these issues that we got to confront, but we need to have a basis of reality
to do so. Jordy. absolutely. Big bro, Brett,
happy birthday, man. I know Ben wished it, but I just want to make sure I said it as well. Happy
birthday, Brett. What are we, 34? 34, 34. Let's go.
Kind of one of those kind of in-between ages, right? Not quite 35. 35 feels like a big
milestone, right? 40 is a big milestone. 30 is a big mile. When you're like in
the middle, it's like, okay, I mentioned up there. I'm getting there, but not quite yet.
Shout out to the Midas Mighty. I just love waking up too and Brad and seeing all those
notifications. People wishing you a happy birthday, wishing you well. Shout out to the chat.
The chat's been going crazy tonight, Brad, wishing you a happy birthday.
I can't keep up. And I just want to give a blanket thank you right now. I'll try to respond during our live right now,
but I'm so grateful for all of you from the bottom of my heart.
I'm so excited. I'm excited for tonight's show. There's been a normalization of the weird behavior
from Donald Trump by corporate media. Frankly, it's bizarre. I'm just so happy, to say the least,
it's bizarre. I'm so happy that we're on record here for when my son
Elijah grows up, for when he has kids, and they could ask y'all, hey, dad, hey, grandpa, where'd
y'all stand at that moment in history? Well, I'm excited and happy that we are on record just
exposing the utter buffoonery that has become the Republican Party and this MAGA party. Ben,
where are we starting off with tonight, big bro? Well, are the MAGAs who attend this wearing the diapers to show their support, which Snopes
fact-checked as true? Are they going there with their P-funnels, which has been fact-checked as
true? They're now showing up with their shirts that say, I support the convicted felon. Again, fact-checked as true. It is a full-fledged cult,
but I think with the felony conviction, in addition to carrying with it serious consequences
against Donald Trump as we move closer to his sentencing date of July 11th, as we start to see
the other implications of the fact that he's a
felon means he can't travel to certain places.
He has to check in with a probation officer.
But I think what it did as well is it, I think a little bit, just a little bit more, not
the way I think it still needs to be done yet.
I think it shook the country a little bit, right? Where
everyone was being fed a certain narrative from corporate media who was normalizing things.
By the way, if you watch their abysmal coverage of the trial, you may have thought that Donald
Trump was going to get acquitted, or at least there would be a hung jury. And we were here on
the Midas Dutch Network saying, what are you talking about? That's not what's happening in the courtroom. That's not what the evidence is showing.
So you just basing that on narratives. So I think there's been a little bit of a collective
people in this country saying, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
What? What are you saying? What are you talking about?
I just noticed that our coverage, for example, of the Vegas speech, it reached a bigger audience
than normally. And I think it's a lot of that has to do with the Midas Mighty, everybody watching,
sharing these videos. And I just, I felt over the weekend, Brett and Jordy and Midas Mighty,
that there was just another bit of a breakthrough moment where we kind of broke through even a
little more, some of that like defensive line that corporate media put up there to try to like
immunize or block or shelter the chaos and craziness that's happening with Donald
Trump.
And we just have to keep pushing each and every day.
I mean, look, Donald Trump posted right before he took this visit to the probation officer
earlier today, I'm living the American nightmare.
Can you believe this, friend? I'm actually about to speak to a probation
officer after my rigged conviction. For Donald Trump, everything is a hoax. Everything is rigged.
His own words are a hoax. His own words are rigged. By the way, even as we go over what he said in his speech, he's got his little cult followers so programmed that you could quite literally show them the things that were said. wing where you take a speech and then you take the millisecond where president biden sits down
slow and you like loop it to make it look like president biden can sit down no we're showing you
multiple clips of donald trump in context of what he is saying and you just can't handle or accept that that's what he's saying or you are so
enamored with the weirdness and that's become so part of your identity this strange weird wannabe
fascism that you're absolutely okay with it but i think about the projection, I'm living the American nightmare. And it's Donald Trump who wants all of us to live in his American carnage.
He wants all of us to live in his American nightmare.
When he says the world laughs at America, no, the world's confused.
The world is laughing at him.
The world is a nervous laughter,
nervously laughing at him now and MAGA and saying, well, is America what you all see what he's
saying, right? Like you realize how odd and strange and dangerous this is. Trump's quite
literally when he was in office would go to places, he'd get laughed at at the UN,
the world leaders would laugh at him. Putin would laugh in his face and Trump would think that,
oh, he must like me because he's laughing when he's smirking about how obsequious you are to him.
And the fact that the very first thing you did in office was bring the top Russian diplomats
into, shouldn't even be called diplomats, into the Oval Office who were
making a mockery of our country. But I think it's important that we go over what Trump said,
but to recognize the chaos, to recognize how odd this is. Let's start first with what Democratic
Governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, had to say about Donald Trump
over the weekend as well. And Governor Pritzker, I think, just frames this issue.
He doesn't mince words. And I just think this is who Donald Trump is. This is how the pro-democracy
community has to refer to Donald Trump all of the time. Let's play this clip of Governor Pritzker. Donald Trump is a convicted felon, an adjudicated rapist, and a congenital
liar. He's a racist, sexist, misogynistic narcissist who wants to use the levers of power
to enrich himself and punish anyone who dares speak a word against him. He has
stolen state secrets, compromised our national security, betrayed our
Constitution, and sacrificed the truth to further his own naked ambition. When
Trump comes to Milwaukee for the Republican Convention, he'll cast blame
on others for his own misdeeds.
He'll claim credit for things that he never touched. He'll lie and he'll ramble. And by the
way, I am glad that he's giving a preview of what that Republican national convention is going to be.
Can you imagine what a mess that's going to be as people also continue to start to pay attention and Donald Trump starts saying things like he's saying in Vegas? Because that's all he repeats over and over again right now. say things that are even more outrageous and extreme than even him, which is as outrageous
and extreme as you could. Could you imagine the mess where they have purged all of the normal
and semi-normal Republicans? All of the mainstream Republicans are purged. So it's all these MAGA
people right now who are going to be speaking at that convention.
Remember the last one? It becomes a who's who of Trump family members,
and it looks like the most deranged, weird cult, the most un-American thing imaginable.
If you think back to the last conventions in 2020, what are the kind of things you remember?
You remember Kimberly Guilfoyle screaming,
the best is yet to come, and all these deranged things, that's what people end up leaving
these things, these, uh, these, uh, conventions with. And you see real thoughtful speeches from
experts, from beloved politicians, from, you know, normal people on the democratic side at
these conventions, from activists, from people who have been impacted by certain policies in positive or negative ways.
And then you see people like Kimberly Guilfoyle and Don Jr. speaking 100 miles a minute,
Eric Trump. It just becomes the most bizarre family cultish affair that only Trump could do
and only this Republican Party could do. And it's such a turnoff to voters. Is he going to curse the entire time
also? As his vocabulary gets shorter and shorter, as his cognitive decline increases,
he always would curse a lot and say very inappropriate things. But what I've been
noticing in his speeches, he rapidly kind of accelerates
his cognitive spiral, he more and more relies on cursing and chanting of curse words.
I just want you to think about that. When in the past has there ever, and I started off the show
by talking about FDR, JFK, Reagan, Obama, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, name any president,
that leads chance. These are supposed to be people of moral authority with curses over and over
again, just even that point right there. At the end Church. So he's giving a speech inside a church,
a church that's attended by Charlie Kirk. And the church is turned into a Turning Point USA
right-wing conference, which is its own issue in and of itself. And in this church, Donald Trump continuously led
chants of curses over and over again and acknowledged that there were kids in the
audience. And he would say things like, well, I'm not going to say the word because there are kids.
Then he said it and then promoted chants of curses in a church that became a right-wing propaganda
auditorium with continuing curse chants. Here, play this clip. So they come up with this order.
I won't say it because I don't like using the word bullshit in front of these beautiful children.
So I won't say it. I will not say it. But this thing allows millions
of people. He's laughing at the crowd after he curses, says he's not going to say it, and then says it, and then the crowd in the church
is cursing. I saw this post by someone named Jennifer Erin Valent, and she goes,
I grew up in a Baptist church in school. Both entities were so uptight about language,
I got in trouble more than once for saying crap. I'm confident this display wouldn't have happened then. Let's not kid ourselves. The church hasn't changed Trump. Trump has changed the church.
Regardless of whether we're talking about church or even any religion at all, just in general,
this behavior is abhorrent behavior. Who acts like this in that position? I'll tell you, Donald Trump.
Let's go talk about this speech he gave in Vegas over the weekend. First, set the stage.
Trump in Phoenix, Arizona, he did it in the afternoon at the hottest part of the day where people were hospitalized at the Phoenix,
Arizona speech for having to wait outside in the heat there. He's never acknowledged it. His
campaign hasn't acknowledged it. He didn't say in the speech he hopes people are okay.
When someone previously passed out from heat exhaustion in a prior speech,
he drank the water in their face without giving them the
water. We've previously shown that clip. So he knows about the dangers of heat, or maybe it's
Trump, but he doesn't care. And he tells the audience he doesn't care. Then he goes to Las
Vegas. And remember, him and the campaign are bragging about all this money they claim to be
bringing, which by the way, we've been calling out as most likely false or at least a clear Trumpian exaggeration as he's known to fraudulently
manipulate numbers all the time.
Quite literally, that's like his thing.
He's like the fraudster number guy.
Yet the media is like, tell us the numbers, Donald.
Tell us what you say the numbers are.
Because it's not like you've never lied about numbers before. I don't know. Your entire life and your organization's been found criminally
responsible for tax fraud. And you're a convicted felon now. And you've also been found civilly
liable. Tell us what you say the numbers are. But in any event, if he has all of this money
and he has the casino connections, he? He knows the Adelson family.
Why wouldn't you just hold this indoors? There's a lot of big conference room space. I could tell
you that firsthand. We used to go to all those lawyer conventions when I used to do that back
in the day in Vegas. And they have all of those big convention centers there. So why don't you
do it there in air conditioning, number one. And then one of the things Donald Trump did throughout the event too, which he does in all of his events, is he yells at
the contractors for the mic not working or for, in this case, the teleprompter not working. One,
I don't think it's the contractor's fault at all. I think they did probably the job they were hired
to do, and I'm sure they did it well, and Trump just doesn't want to pay. But assume for the sake of argument that Trump is saying that the mics aren't working well
and the teleprompters are working well.
In all of his speeches, I don't know, don't you want to deploy your funds to then get
a better mic or better sound systems or anything like that?
No.
Trump just doesn't want to pay the bills, and he's obviously not making the amount of
or his campaign's not bringing in the amount of money they claim they're bringing.
So he has this Vegas speech outside, no shade.
His campaign downplays how hot it is and they're like morning memo to people.
They're like, it's going to be anywhere from like 86 to 98 and feels like temperature will make it five degrees lower. What are you talking
about? I mean, it's super hot out there in Vegas. So they like downplay it. Like a miracle,
it's all going to go away, right? You see all of the ways he acts with everything. That's
his behavior is to inflate the fraud and downplay real risks, even when it comes to something like
a speech he's giving in Vegas.
So then he gives this speech in Vegas, and in it, he pretty much starts by telling the
crowd, I don't care about you.
I just want your vote.
I don't care.
And look, Asyn, A-C-Y-N, who works at the Midas Touch Network, is one of our senior
digital editors.
When he takes these clips, he doesn't clip out of context. So he'll always clip a little bit
before and a little bit of after. So you can get a sense, like you can go back, watch the full
speech if you want to, right? But he takes the clip and gives it an appropriate context of what's
being said before and after. So I want you all to see this clip. Let's play it.
By the way, isn't that breeze nice? Do you feel the breeze?
Because I don't want anybody going on me. We need every voter. I don't care about you. I
just want your vote. I don't care. See, now the press will take that and they'll say he said a
horrible thing. He said, I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care. I want to talk about that clip, but I want to talk about all the things that he's been
saying that he said in Vegas.
I want to talk about all of that.

disastrous speech in Las Vegas. Also, it should be noted that a lot of
people there were leaving in the middle of the speech as well. I have a lot of sources in Vegas,
we have a lot of Midas Mighty in Vegas too, who even say their MAGA adjacent or MAGA friends who
went there just to see the kind of clown show left like, okay, they were
like embarrassed for even going there. I've been hearing that with a lot of people in Vegas who
even know people who attended the event. All right, let me show you this right here,
where Trump tells the crowd, I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care.
The way I want to show it to you in this one, though. And then, Brett, I want to talk to you and Jordy about this portion.
This is President Biden's new ad.
The Biden campaign just put out this ad using those words.
And let me show you the new ad that the Biden campaign put out.
Let's play it.
Because I don't want anybody going on me.
We need every voter.
I don't care about you.
I just want your vote.
I don't care.
I'm Joe Biden, and I approve this message.
You know, and on the clip that we put out there, we even show more of it. So at the end of the clip
where Donald Trump says, I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care. He then says,
oh, the media is going to run with that, huh? The fake news, you're going to run with that, huh?
Well, it's something that you said. And frankly, a lot of the corporate media did not cover that
like they should. We'll talk about their coverage in a little bit. But yeah, those are words that
you said. It wasn't like you started off by saying, the media is going to say that I'm
bringing you all out here because I don't care about you, but I want to prove them wrong.
And then it's not like we then just cut the portion that was like, I don't care about you.
That's what the RNC account does. Yeah, which is exactly what I was about to say,
which is exactly what they do. Exactly. We showed the full context of the clip. You said that.
And then after you said, I don't care about you.
I just want your vote.
You then said, oh, the media is going to definitely say something.
Yeah, it's not like a get out of jail.
It's not a get out of jail free card.
No pun intended.
Convict, felon Donald Trump.
But you can't just say that and then go, oh, I got you.
I knew you were going to cover that.
I knew you were going to cover that.
It would be like if Trump was like, you know, OK, we need to lock up everybody who disagrees with me. We're going to lock them all
up. We're going to, the second I get into office, we're going to lock everybody up who disagrees
with me. Oh, look now the media is going to run with that. You'll see you'll the media is going
to run with those comments. You'll see, you'll see 10 minutes, 10 minutes later, Donald Trump
says that he's going to lock up all of his opponents.
The second he gets, I told you, told you they were going to say it doesn't make it better.
You still said the thing. Okay. Just because you, you added that at the end doesn't make it better.
And I saw so many of these kind of Trumper commenters, like really like when something
confronts them, that's with irrefutable proof, like Donald Trump said something,
they have to rationalize it in any way.
Oh, well, he was a joke.
It was a clear joke.
It was a joke.
Obviously, he said the media was going to cover it.
He fell into a trap.
4-D chess.
He got you again.
He got you.
It's like, no, he said that comment.
He could have said it the way Ben said it,
and it would have actually made sense. But he phrased it in a very specific way,
and I believe that he meant what he said. You say that he means what he says all the time,
right? That's one of the reasons why you like him. I believe that he meant exactly what he said,
and he spent the rest of the speech talking about himself. It was all me, me, me, me, me, me, me. What was me? Oh, the people don't think about me. They're thinking about you too
much. Why don't they think about me? It was like the theme of the speech was whining about himself.
So it even makes sense in the full context of the entire speech.
The 4D chess thing just kills me because the man's not playing chess. He's sticking the pieces up his
nose is what he's doing. And Brett, to your point, exactly. It's the same thing with the dictator for
a day comment.
Didn't they know I was joking or whatever the heck his excuse was coming out of that.
Hennity had him back on.
We reported on this last week.
To clarify, you were just kidding, right?
Hennity was like, I thought that was in jest.
And he couldn't say no.
He still had the opportunity.
Trump will even say things like, no, I don't joke.
I don't joke.
It's just truly incredible to watch.
And then you see like the Trumps when they go on Fox News and they admit, quite frankly,
to their criminality.
And this is the same thing in this situation.
It's like just because you say the thing to a broader audience doesn't abstain you from
the rhetoric and the behavior that you're trying to espouse across the country.
It's a terrifying country. It's a
terrifying proposition. It's scary. Here's what he realizes though, that it actually is
effective in getting corporate media not to cover that because then he'll call them fake news and
he'll call out the reporter and then the reporter doesn't like that. So the reporter says,
you know what? I'm not going to cover that. I'm just going to basically write that this was a
normal speech. I'll try to reframe what I think he meant so I could just phone it in, write my piece,
go home for the day and not have to deal with that. So corporate media was not running with
that. I mean, again, could you imagine if
President Biden gave a speech and said, I don't care about you. I just care about me. I just want
your vote. Again, it is undisputed. You can't debate this. I don't think it would be on the
front page of every major newspaper and every local paper, and it would lead the coverage on local news, cable news,
across the board. But Donald Trump says something like that, and it really doesn't.
But if you look at the growth of our YouTube channel and our network and the amount of views
and people who are focused on that, the people get it. Americans see it now and they saw it before,
but Americans see it and it makes them extra angry, not just at Trump, but of the media
establishment trying to like pull a fast one. And we're like, um, no. And it's like, okay.
So Trump says that was taken out of context, which it wasn't. But then he said, it's 110 degrees.
Everyone was so worried about you, the audience, but they never mentioned me.
They should care about me.
Why don't they?
Why don't they?
I'm the one sweating like a dog up here.
Why do they care about you?
So that would be another corroborating piece of evidence, right?
That that's what he meant because he's saying it again.
Here, play
that clip. Hold on one second. We'll go back to that one in just a second. Okay. Well, how about
Donald Trump saying that he thought that the contractors did a bad job and he uses a curse
word to attack the contractors? Let's play this clip. Tell him to make the microphone louder.
It's terrible.
He just came up.
Are the teleprompters not working?
Not even a little bit.
Great job.
And then I don't pay the company that does it, right?
And then I end up with a story Trump doesn't pay.
I don't pay contractors that do a shitty job.
And that's a shitty job.
That's a shitty job.
You can't read a word.
But you know what?
It usually ends up that the speech is better.
It's crazy.
Then they'll say, oh, isn't it terrible?
Trump takes advantage of his, no, I take great. When I have a good contractor or subcontractor, nobody gets paid faster.
But when I have contractors that do this kind of work, you can have them.
I mean, who would ever want to work for that?
I mean, again, who would ever want to work for this guy?
I mean, he's doing an event in, by his own calculation, we'll show you in a second, 110
degrees, whether it's 100 or 110 degrees, he does these things outside.
He should do them in controlled environments inside. He does a lot of these things last
minute. He sounds horrific, but I would not say the audio was the issue in that.
There are lots of people who have teleprompters. First off, he also criticizes President Biden for using a teleprompter and claims that he
doesn't use teleprompters.
So I think there's that aspect of it also.
And then he just starts cursing.
And again, the constant curse, like there's not enough being discussed that he goes on
stage in a presidential campaign and just repeatedly blurts out curses over and over and over again.
Here, do we have this other clip where he calls the prosecutor special counsel Jack Smith
a deranged SOB? And once again, I could show you other examples. I showed you the other one,
but he goes around and just curses, curses, curses. Rather than, look, if you have a criticism of special counsel Jack Smith, and you think
that there are issues surrounding it, I think there's still an adult way to have this conversation.
But this is how Donald Trump says it.
Let's play this clip.
I said, I don't want to be, I don't want to get off like that.
I did nothing wrong.
It's Presidential Records Act.
I did nothing.
You know, we have a deranged individual named Jack Smith.
He's a deranged, a dumb Smith. He's a deranged,
a dumb guy. He's a dumb son of a bitch. Well, one of the things about Donald Trump is,
and you know, when he attacks all these people and you know, folks have said this before,
but one of the reasons why those Trump people appear to like Donald Trump in spite of everything
is that Trump hates and mistreats the same people who those
people standing behind him hate. And he sticks it to them, right? It's all own the libs, own the
libs, own the libs. So he talks crap about Jack Smith, right? He talks crap about Hillary Clinton
or Joe Biden, and they love it, right? They love it. They love it. They love it. They never make
that next connection that that's how he feels about you also. He would treat you exactly the same way once the opportunity presents itself. who go to work for Donald Trump. You have all these other people who have gone to work for Trump in the Trump White House, be as part of his campaign staff. You have these contractors
who take these gigs to help Donald Trump because they think, oh, he said that about that guy
because that guy sucks. We hate that guy. He sucks. He's an SOB. He sucks. Me though,
he's going to love me. I'm going to get paid. I'm not like that guy. I'm going to get treated well. I'm going to make money as part of this. It's going to be high living because that's
how Trump feels about those people, but not me. But guess what always happens? All those people
always get burned 100% of the time. We see the same exact pattern happen here. I would say in about 30 to – I'm trying to give you a conservative estimate, small
C conservative estimate.
Between 30 to 50% of Donald Trump's speeches, he complains about the contractors.
He curses them out.
He says there's issues with the mic and the teleprompter.
I did a whole other video of this earlier today where I showed multiple examples of this. So
I'm not going to show all of them again, but just so you see that this is a pattern that he just
repeats in all of the speeches, because Brett, to your point, all of the contractors are his mark.
This is what he does. And so he doesn't pay. He complains about
it. He doesn't pay. And then he goes on to the next venue and does the same exact scheme over
and over again. This was him fairly recently, last month in Minnesota. Watch what he had to say there
about the teleprompter and not paying the people. Play the clip. How about that? Before I got up,
the teleprompter fell down. That's great. Great going, fellas, back there. Then they want to know why I didn't
pay the bill. You know, I get a lot of heat. I got a teleprompter that's gone. This one's almost
gone. You know, and to hear the people laughing at that, that that's funny that he can't figure
out the teleprompter and now he's not paying his bill. And that's like a part of his campaign speech.
That's very strange that that gets a laugh line.
That's not like a normal thing that people should laugh at.
But Brett, to your point though, what that kind of groupthink laughter is, is that they
in the audience think that they're on his team and that they're being
mean now to whoever the target is. So they're laughing at the hardworking contractor who
probably worked overtime, who wasn't able to spend the weekend with their family,
who was probably sweating in 110 degree heat, who probably did everything right before Donald Trump
swoops in in his private jet with air conditioning and gets up there and Trump's advanced team
doesn't know what they're doing. And now they're being mocked and ridiculed and defamed at a public
level by Donald Trump. And then he goes on to the next one and mocks them.
Speaking of the joking, just to interject for a second, people are laughing, right? So they'd say,
oh, he's clearly joking about the contractors. Everybody was laughing around him the same way.
You had some people laughing behind him when he said that he doesn't care about them.
It's just a joke. Just a joke, right? What does Donald Trump do when he leaves these cities? He doesn't pay the contractors. He uses that as an excuse not to pay the contractors what he
promised. And there is a trail, and this is documented. You could look it up online. Perhaps
in the next show, we'll break out the data. But it's all over if you look it up online.
There's a trail of Donald Trump going to these cities with his campaign, holding these events at places that require lots of public resources and lots of other help from businesses and other contractors and folks in the community.
And then he leaves and never pays.
Never pays.
And it's just a history of him.
And everybody thinks, oh, well, I'm not going to be the next Mark.
You always are the next Mark every single time.
And what's incredible too is just the obvious fact of how disorganized his campaign is from
when he even gives these speeches, just how unprepared they are.
Then it was going to be 100 plus degrees.
Of course, things are going to break.
And there's no backup plan in that moment.
I mean, they're just so wholly unorganized for this moment.
And it makes you really scared. Like
he was the president of the United States. He can never be president again. He can't even
have a rally without it failing. This has happened now multiple times where equipment's broken and
they have no backup plan. And the man just stands up there and rambles for hours. Here's where the audience who thinks they're laughing with him at the contractor
doesn't realize that he is now laughing at them and mocking them. He's saying that,
why was the media so concerned about all of you? I'm the one doing the real work here.
I'm sweating like a dog. They should care about me, me, me, not you. And before we play the clip,
this is his campaign speech. So where you're supposed to talk about, as President Biden does,
here's my healthcare plan with details. Here's my plan to protect does. Here's my health care plan with details. Here's my plan to
protect veterans. Here's my plan to protect seniors. Here's my plan to make health care
cheaper and more affordable. Here's my plan to improve wages. Here's how I'm going to strengthen
unions. Here's how I'm going to protect our allies. Here's how I'm going to build more
infrastructure. Here's the record. That's
what a speech is supposed to be about. This is what Donald Trump is doing, saying that why aren't
you cared about me and just you care about the audience? Focus on me. Here, play this clip.
We don't have enough time. And by the way, it's 110, but it doesn't feel it to me, right?
So we'll stay out here for a little while.
If anybody gets tired, you let me know.
And if anybody goes down, if you start going down, we have people, they'll pick you up right away.
They'll throw water.
You know, they were so worried.
Everybody was so worried yesterday about you.
And they never mentioned me.
I'm up here sweating like a dog.
Secret Service said we have to make sure everyone's safe. I'm up here sweating like a dog. Secret Service said,
we have to make sure everyone's safe. I said, what about me? Oh, we never thought of that.
They don't think about me. I'm working my ass off. I'm working hard.
And again, just another random curse in there. He's mocking the audience. The audience is also kind of laughing at that. And I just think to myself, like, what in the world are we even
watching there? I want to share this part with you there too, because then he goes on the rant
where he talks about like, you're like, okay, you're going to talk about like any policy at all.
And the answer is no. But then he says how the January 6th insurrectionists who he calls hostages,
he says are the most unfairly treated,
the most, he goes, horrifically treated people ever. Here, let me show you this first clip.
But we're not going to let this happen with our country anymore. We're taking back our country.
So when we get in, it's going to go very rapidly. We're going to do a lot of things. We're going to
look very strongly at J6. Those people, there has never been people treated more horrifically than J6 hostages. There have never been more people
treated as horrifically as J6 hostages. I genuinely don't know how you could listen to that and come away with the fact that this is the most disqualified person from not just holding the position, but frankly, from holding any other position other than the position like this in a straitjacket?
Like, what in the world is that? And then he calls the January 6th insurrectionist warriors
and says that J6 was a setup. Here, play this clip.
And we're going to change that around. We want to be fair. So we're going to change that and we're
going to change it and we're going to change it fast. But those J6 warriors, they were warriors,
but they were really more than anything else.
They're victims of what happened. All they were doing is protesting a rigged election. That's what they were doing. And then the police say, go in, go in, go in, go in. How about Scaffold Joe,
the guy on the scaffold? Or how about the big FBI guy or whatever, wherever he comes from?
Go on in, everybody. Go on in. What a setup that was.
What a horrible, horrible thing. And you know, that blows two ways. That blows two ways. Believe
me. And when he says that blows two ways in his own cognitive declining mind, though, be clear,
that's a threat. When he's saying it goes both ways, he's saying the group that tried to overthrow our democracy has been horrifically treated. When he's saying it goes both ways, the threat is I'm going to lock you up and I'm going to treat you like the guy on the scaffolding and Joe on the scaffolding and the big FBI guy because he doesn't even have the language to articulate what it is he's even saying. about how he'd rather be electrocuted than eaten by a shark. And he tells the story about how he has a relationship with MIT.
And because of this relationship with MIT, he's smart, he says.
And he's smart so he recognizes that if an electric boat is sinking,
that it could result in electrocution.
And no one's ever thought of
this before. So he would want to jump out of the boat. But the problem is he'd rather be
electrocuted than eaten. There's a lot of sharks out there. A lot of shark attacks, people in Vegas,
you know, a lot of sharks. And I don't want to be eaten by. So I'd rather be, and no one's ever
thought about that. No one's ever thought about that. So the way I just said that is what he's saying on boat sank from its weight and you're in the boat
and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery is now underwater and there's
a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there.
By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately.
Do you notice that?
A lot of shark.
I watched some guys justifying it today.
Well, they weren't really that angry.
They bit off the young lady's leg because of the fact that they were not hungry,
but they misunderstood who she was.
These people are crazy.
He said, there's no problem with sharks.
They just didn't really understand a young woman swimming now
who really got decimated and other people too.
A lot of shark attacks.
So I said, so there's a shark 10 yards away from the boat, 10 yards
or here. Do I get electrocuted? If the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery,
the boat is sinking. Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted or do I jump over by the
shark and not get electrocuted? Because I will tell you, he didn't know the answer. He said,
you know, nobody's ever asked me that question. I said, I think it's a good question. I think there's a lot of electric current coming through that water.
But you know what I do if there was a shark or you get electrocuted? I'll take electrocution
every single time. I'm not getting near the shark. So the reenactment that I did was probably more
articulate, more generous. They say there's no such thing as a stupid question, but I actually am starting to beg to differ that I'm sure the person who was asking these questions
probably thought it was a pretty stupid question to be asking. And let me also explain when he
says my relationship to MIT, he is talking about the fact that his uncle was a professor at MIT. So he is claiming by proxy the intelligence of his uncle
who spoke at MIT and is basically claiming to have a degree from MIT by proxy via his uncle.
And so that makes him smart. And so he was so smart that he came up with this
insane question that doesn't make any sense. And by the way, in his own story, it seems like the
electric boat saves him and that he's actually thankful for the electric boat because
he preferred electrocution to, uh, to being eaten by the shark. I'm just saying, right.
By this logic, our, our uncle's a doctor. Does that, am I an expert in the medical field?
Yes. You're a medical expert now.
Nice.
Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. That's it.
It's how it works. And that's the relationship to MIT that he's trying to say.
But again, if President Biden went on stage and President Biden said anything like that
at all and told that story, look, I want to be very clear.
He would lose, he'd probably lose my support.
I'd call it out.
I'd be like, what in the world is that?
I would, all of the things that corporate media and right-wing propaganda media tried to say
about president Biden, if president Biden told a story like that, if he went up there and he was
like, look, my cousin, um, uh, went to, uh, Harvard. I'm a Harvard lawyer because my cousin went to Harvard and there's really big
whales, a whale named Beluga. I like Beluga and there's lots of whales. Have you heard about oil
and whales and the relationship with oil? And are you aware about that there are fishermen off the coast of
Massachusetts and they're saying that there's a lot going on with whales? And so I thought to
myself, if I was on a cruise ship and I was, I mean, I'm making up a Trumpy like, I don't know
where I'm going with that, but that's all Trump is doing. Like he's up there because he can't
read the teleprompter,
and he's just saying the most ridiculous things. He knows he has some speech about MIT and the shark and electrocution, and he melds it together. That's what you get.
Then let me show you this, though. This is how he basically starts concluding the speech by saying
that someone in the crowd who talks to
the crowd that you would unalive yourself before voting for President Biden, right? Like this is
the Jim Jones phase of the Donald Trump speech, where he actually talks to his audience about
them killing themselves if they don't vote for Trump. And if Biden wins, play this clip.
Wouldn't it be incredible? He's gone to 250 if he voted for Biden. He's
going to vote for Biden. I don't think so. I think it would be suicide before Biden, right?
And even there, you notice he can't put the sentence together. Like if you were to go and
put that in a transcript of what he just said, he would say, he out there, He went to 250 and he would suicide over Biden, right? And let me just show you this
right here because this is how this was the coverage of it by USA Today by someone named
Mark Robinson from the USA Today network. With no teleprompter, Trump riffs with the crowd at Las Vegas rally, vows to end taxes
on tips. The lack of prepared remarks allowed for a looser speech where he often engaged in
crowd participation like a stand-up comic asking who should be his vice presidential running mate.
No consensus. And whether Sleepy Joe or Crooked Joe was a better
nickname for Biden. One tangent involved whether he'd prefer to be eaten by a shark or electrocuted.
I'll take electrocution every single time, Donald Trump said. What was the New York Times covering
over this weekend? Biden loves to tell tall tales. We cut them down to size. Great work, Linda, on that article, because I think that that's what's needed right now. Going after President Biden continued. Now it's like every few days or once a week, Biden will do an interview with a large
publication, anybody but the New York Times. Like, all right, here's Biden with Time Magazine.
Here's Biden. Just every publication except them. It's very funny.
I want to get your take on it. Jordy, I want to get your take on it. And then I want to also chat about Midas exposing

Here's something we all know. Cheap razors are annoying. They cut you,
they irritate you, and heck, they frustrate you. And don't get me started with subscription razor
services. Can you say blah? That's why you got to meet Henson Shaving. Henson Shaving is a family
owned aerospace parts manufacturer that has made parts for the ISS. That's the International Space
Station folks and Mars Rover. And now they are
bringing precision engineering to your shaving experience. If you're like 88% of men who
experience irritation from shaving, you might be expecting the worst with each shave. Yet,
Henson users have seen dramatic improvements, including the disappearance of ingrown hairs
and razor bumps. Henson Shavingings innovation comes from an interesting analogy.
Think of razor blades as diving boards. The longer the board, the more it wobbles. The micro
wobbles are what lead to more nicks and cuts. Henson solves this by minimizing blade extension,
addressing the root cause of bad shaves, not the blade itself, but the extension.
Henson's aerospace background has enabled the creation
of razors with unmatched precision. Using aerospace-grade CNC machines, they achieve
a blade extension of just 0.0013 inches, less than a human hair's thickness. This incredibly
precise control over the blade's position ensures a vibration-free and incredibly
close shave.
The Henson razor works with standard dual-edged blades to give you that old-school shave with
the benefits of new-school tech.
Once you own a Henson razor, it's only about $3 to $5 per year to replace the blades.
My first shave with the Henson razor was incredibly refreshing.
The design is sleek and the durability
is exactly what you want and the affordability factor you simply can't beat it. I'm ready for
my next shave right now. It's time to say no to subscriptions and yes to a razor that'll last you
a lifetime visit. HensonShaving.com slash Midas to pick up the razor for you and use the code Midas, M-E-I-D-A-S, and you'll
get two years worth of blades free with your razor. Just make sure you add them to your cart.
That's 100 free blades when you head to H-E-N-S-O-N-S-H-A-V-I-N-G dot com slash Midas, M-E-I-D-A-S, and use the code Midas.
That's henshinshaving.com slash Midas and use the code Midas.
I did a little jingle there, Tony.
Yeah, you did a little jingle at the end.
Henson's going to pick up on that.
They might just use that across their marketing campaign going forward.
I mean, unbelievable reads, brothers.
Great job this episode with the ad reads.
Aeropress, Brett, I know you freaking love Aeropress. So I love when you get to reach for that. I freaking love it.
He does. He does. And Ben, I know you're a big fan of Henson. It looks like you need
to use Henson and maybe this weekend coming up, you're getting a little scruffy there.
I think by Monday you should shave so that my buddy could see the clean shave and Ben with

I've probably used an AeroPress, not to go too deep into this, since 2012, 2013.
Pre-Midas.
Oh my gosh.
Way, way pre-Midas.
It's my go-to.
It's the best.
It's absolutely the best.
Pre-Midas and then especially before I had a job's absolutely the best. I, I, yeah, pre Midas. And then especially
before I like had a job, uh, before Ellen and all that, like I had a lot of time to make coffee and
learn how to make coffee the right way. And I would AeroPress was my go-to and it's the best.
Like I, I see the comments, like everyone loves AeroPress. There's never been a person in history
who, who doesn't absolutely love the thing. You know, when we've been covering all of these
Trump traveling, fascist circus events that he calls rallies, we've always noted that the coverage around them, we've kind of referred to it as like the AI fascist propaganda because, you know, it purports to beulate that a person's actually writing that. But they all sure kind of have the exact same kind of structure and format.
And they buy into all of Donald Trump's crowd size
and all of the things that are so not normal and unhinged.
They try to act as though it's like funny and that this is like engaging and normal. And we always see
that follow these events. And it's like, it's why I thought it was so important that after these
events, our editorial team kicks into action. One of the things that I always do in addition
to doing a video where we cover it is I just write the list and I use direct quotes and I
don't editorialize what he says.
I just says, here's what he said. Here's what he said. Here's what he said. Here's what he did.
Here's what he said. Here's what he said. And then you still see people will say, oh,
I guess that you're just, this is some left-wing disinformation. I'm just literally saying what he
said. You can go open up the video. You can see
for yourself. We shouldn't be normalizing that type of conduct in our politics. It's not a
Democrat or a Republican thing. It's a let's be normal thing. Let's not and someone who actually, it would be sad to watch somebody behave like that
if that person's intentions were not to cause mass destruction to your lives.
And if that was somebody else who was not running, I would say, where's their family?
Why haven't they seen a doc? What's
going on with them that's making them behave? This is someone in desperate need of help,
but obviously it's somebody who wants to take away your freedoms and cause you a ton of harm.
But look, the leadership of unions get it. The culinary union gets it. They put out a statement
over the weekend that says, for decades, the culinary union gets it. They put out a statement over the weekend that says,
for decades, the culinary union has fought for tip workers' rights and against unfair taxation.
Relief is definitely needed for tip earners, but Nevada workers are smart enough to know the
difference between real solutions and wild campaign promises from a convicted felon. I think it's important, you know,
not mincing words there, these meaningless words from a convicted felon. So what Donald Trump's
just going to do now is he's going to go around the country. He's already doing it. He's going
to promise everybody everything because his words are just so meaningless. He actually has nothing.
So you want this, you want that, I'll give you this. And he won't actually say anything. There's no principles,
there's no values, there's no platform at all. It's just go around like the Pied Piper
convicted felon of lies and just go and spread the lies in every place that you go over and
over again. And it's important that we all call it out.
I like that the DNC is taking out ads, front page ads, when Donald Trump shows up in these places
like the one they did in Vegas. And they took the biggest paper, digital website in Vegas,
when you clicked on it, the homepage said, Donald Trump convicted felon, a disaster for Nevada's
economy, a threat to America. I think it's important that that be pointed out that way.
Look, we just want to share with you what those facts are. It's important that we get to the
bottom of these facts right away and very quickly. that's why our editorial team kicked into high gear
when Justice Mershon, just to show how fair of a judge he actually is, he on his own sent a letter
to the parties to notify them that he had been notified by the court system's Facebook management
people that the following. Today, the court became aware Facebook management people that the following.
Today, the court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System's
public Facebook page, and which I now bring to your attention.
In the comment, the user Michael Anderson states,
My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted.
Thank you, folks, for all your hard work.
Emoji.
The comment, now labeled as one week old responded to a routine
UCS unified court system notice having nothing to do with the case. So Justice Merchant
notifies them. And look, in normal times, all the parties act responsibly. They get to the
bottom of it. But we knew right away we're not in normal times. And we knew right away Trump and his team were going to put out the lies, which they did right away.
And they emphasized the fact that this is going to be a mistrial now.
And they reported it as though it was a fact.
And so we immediately said, let's look into this Facebook page.
Let's see what this person has posted before.
And if you look at the bio for the person, this person's name is probably not even Michael
Anderson, but it says that they're a professional shit poster. Their profile photo is of their
account being restricted by Facebook. The one image is on the right of someone named Gigi Allen, who's a deceased
musician who engaged in really disgusting acts on stage and was arrested. And we also looked into
the person's posting habits. And it wasn't just May 29th. This person was posting this like a ton
of times. And this person was also posting crazy MAGA stuff before.
And so we got to the bottom of it.
We did an article right away.
We exposed it.
And then that pretty much stopped all but kind of the fringiest from doing it.
Most of Fox didn't do it, but then they started, but then they stopped.
But then Hannity did it, and Hannity really leaned into it.
And Mark Levin really kind of leaned into it.
And then you had all the kind of cat turd influencers.
There was the big MAGA influencer and the Loomers and the Marjorie Taylor Greene.
And Donald Trump continued to post mistrial, mistrial, mistrial.
But at that point, we had already exposed it and it kind of lost its steam and also
showed how ridiculous they were and how desperate they were for continuing.
Cutting that sort of thing off like that early, it really shows you the power of like getting
on it right away. The second we saw that story and it immediately kind of, you know,
kind of stunk to us, you know, right away. A little sus.
Yeah, a little sus. And so even just like looking and then I saw like a picture of the profile and
then we immediately like, you know, we're speaking with our team and everyone was just all hands on
deck. Like everybody got on this right away. And within minutes we found the original profile. We
saw his other past posts,
which were a lot of F Joe Biden, F Kamala, a lot worse than that. But that's my nice versions
of the things he was posting and all the other groups he belonged to. His profile picture on
Facebook was a line that said his account was restricted for bad behavior. You could see it in here.
It says account restricted if you're looking right here at the profile photo.
And so it became very obvious to us that it was a troll. And it really showed the power of,
you know, first off, it shows you the disinformation machine, right? The second
anything like this happens or any store, and there's something like just about every single
day, at least one thing, the same group of people, the same kind of social media accounts,
all almost in unison, start tweeting the same things at the same time.
And so I compiled just some of them. I mean, what are there like a dozen here? Here you see
Laura Loomer, Fox News, Phil Holloway, Monica Crowley, Jack Posobiec, Greta Van Susteren, Benny Johnson, you know, a lot of cat turd, a lot of like alarm emojis. Wow. Greta Van Susteren. Wow. This is big trouble. Monica Crowley, enough with this bullshit case. Mistrial. No retrial. Toss the conviction. Get the F out of here with your rigged communist show trial, Jack Posobiec, just all these people
trying to rile folks up and spread the disinformation. And what folks always have to
realize is those accounts do it about anything, no matter if stuff is true, no matter if stuff
is false. It doesn't matter what it is. They're going to push the BS constantly. And that's why
you always have to have your guard up when they're coming at you with all this stuff.
And that's why it's upon all of us to be able to combat that right away,
because we made all those people look like complete and utter clowns when they were still
hours later, even 24 hours later, parroting the things that we had already very clearly debunked.
And so we flipped the narrative right on its head by exposing the truth,
by just exposing the truth. And we're able to diffuse that situation that, frankly,
without this community, I think would have blown up into a much bigger issue and would have been the disinformation would have spread way, way more. And it wouldn't have been until a day or
two later until people actually realized what happened there. And so we got to all remain
vigilant. It's frustrating that we have this entire group of people who are just going to
complain and whine and spread lies about our institutions nonstop. But that is the environment
that we are all dealing with and we have to get used to it and we have to be able to respond.
I mean, they quite literally complain about everything. Like everything. They will whine. I'll give you another example. So President Biden,
we spent a lot of last episode. I loved last episode also because we spent the whole time
playing clips from President Biden's speech for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. And President
Biden gave such a fantastic speech. And that was also an example where President Biden gave a great speech,
spoke about American values, spoke about patriotism, spoke about defeating the Nazis,
defeating fascism around the world. That same disinformation machine, the posters that you
see in the image that I put up, they all ran with deceptively edited clips of Biden saying that he
had to be removed from the event
early and started spreading all these same lies. It was the same exact strategy that they used in
order to try to squash all those sorts of positive moments that happened during the actual event.
And so then what do they complain about after the fact? This just shows you how they complain
about everything. But oftentimes, when they complain about everything, they tell on themselves a whole lot.
So here's Eric Erickson. He's one of these right-wing influencers. And he posted after
Joe Biden's speech, I don't think it was appropriate for Biden to turn the remembrance
of D-Day into a political attack on his opponent. Biden didn't talk about Donald Trump once. Biden talked about
defending democracy and President Biden talked about defeating fascism. And the MAGA people said,
oh, he was talking about Trump. He was talking about Trump. I think that says a lot. And for
the most part, these community
notes, which is like the Twitter kind of fact check stuff, for the most part, they're really
only weaponized to try to go after kind of pro-democracy people and say, yeah, but this was
an example of a good community note on Eric Erickson's post where the context that was added
was Joe Biden did not mention Donald Trump at all during his speech. He spoke out against tyranny, dictators, and in favor of freedom and NATO. And now I'll add that
it says it all when somebody gives a speech that's for American values, that's about the
defense of democracy, that's defending NATO, that's about us defeating the Nazis. And a Trump person goes, stop talking about us like that.
It's like, oh, okay. Yikes. I see what happened there.
And then we also spent, Brett, going back to the juror cousin lie that we debunked along with this
community, the Midas Mighty, we're able to put the truth into the world. Had this been 2016, had it been 2020, that does have a life of its own. It runs for a 24-hour,
48-hour news cycle before I think it might get corrected by someone who does some digging,
but it's a scary thought that it's up to this pro-democracy community here to continue to
hold folks accountable. We all got to be nonstop on our-
Nonstop. We were just talking about combating misinformation on our Patreon too that Thursday
for the after show. And so it's just that lead up example is exactly how you just need to attack it
at the upfront because truth will always be the guiding source in these instances.
And I saw corporate media, Politico ran with a story that I think
the writers of that story had acknowledged that it was basically, it could be a sham at that time.
It was before it was eventually confirmed and whatnot, but the story that had released made
no mention of, of the fact that this was totally made up. And so they just took up on what Laura
Loomer was posting and what was being put out there and reported it like it was a black and white situation.
And here's what happened here.
And you can't do that anymore.
You have to take it upon yourself to actually do the research and figure out that what's
happening, it's a lie and it's propaganda.
It's being spewed nonstop.
Trump has different tiers of kind of like the level of the propaganda being spread so he has his like
cat turd laura loomer kind of marjorie taylor green this guy paul and gracia like that kind
of level which is like the the most kind of outrageous and it doesn't even come off sounding
smart but nonetheless they just kind of push it out there, right? And try to overwhelm you with a wave of it. Then you have a little bit more of
kind of the, I don't want to use sophisticated because it makes it sound smart, but the sounding
sophisticated propaganda that gets pushed out. And for that, Donald Trump relies on Elise Stefanik, who just spews all of these lies over
and over again. And look, the process of jury selection and venue and forum and a lot of these
legal concepts, if you don't go to law school or have taken pre-law classes, it can be complicated. There are Latin
names, voir dire, V-O-I-R space, D-I-R-E, which means to speak the truth. It's a complicated
process if you think about it. Wait a minute, so the parties select from prospective jurors
who's going to be on the jury, and then there's a jury questionnaire that gets sent out first
to determine if there's any biases that would make jurors unable to be fair and impartial.
And then the lawyers ask questions to the jurors about whether they can be fair and impartial.
And then they have something called peremptory challenges where you can eliminate jurors for any reason at all,
as long as it's non-discriminatory. But then you have unlimited what are called four-cause
challenges where if you believe a juror can't be fair and impartial, you can petition the judge to
remove a juror who can't be fair and impartial. And so the process, right, there's a little bit
of complication in
that. Like you have to, like I took a law school class to learn some of this stuff. I didn't know
it right away. But Elise Stefanik is, she kind of preys on a knowledge imbalance that exists
to then feed the audience false information and use terms like, oh, the prosecution jury shopped.
Let me show you. And then it's platformed on Fox
when the whole thing is just like an absolute lie. Here's what Elise Stefanik had to say recently
about the jury verdict. Here, play this clip. Elise Stefanik, I want to move quickly to another
subject, this Stalinist star chamber that took place in Manhattan. You're a New Yorker.
And I believe you filed an ethics complaint against this acting state judge. Did
you not? I did. I filed multiple ethics complaints. This is shredding our democracy. The mainstream
media and Democrats accuse the right, but it's really Democrats who are attacking our democracy.
When you take the judge in the New York case, this was a zombie case taken up by Alvin Bragg,
a corrupt, radical Democrat prosecutor who is releasing violent
criminals on the streets, which is why we have a crime crisis in New York. And you have a judge
who donated to Joe Biden and whose family members are profiting to the tunes of tens of millions of
dollars, raising money for Democrats like Adam Schiff and Joe Biden because of this trial.
So this is a political witch hunt. They jury shopped as well,
asking jury members whether they followed Donald Trump on social media. They didn't ask that if
they followed Joe Biden. And the American people know that this was rigged from the start and it
is an affront to us. And this is why she's the preferred person for Trump to do that.
If you noticed within that, how long was that, Brett? A minute long,
less, 45 seconds? She'd one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11 lies that
she packed into that one minute with all of the loaded language.
And then Fox masquerades as news.
A Stalinist star chamber, they said.
No, a Stalinist star chamber is like the Jim Jordan-led judiciary committees whose title is the outcome.
How the prosecutors attacked Donald Trump unlawfully is the title of your hearing. That is actually what a star chamber proceeding is, where you decide the outcome before the case
is even brought or before the hearing even takes place. Notice she says, I filed multiple ethics
complaints to give it this sense of like, oh, a complaint has, anybody can file any ethics
complaint. You could file an ethics complaint right now and they're frivolous in nature.
Notice they emphasize the acting judge, although he's somehow not a real judge, right? He's one
of the most well-respected criminal judges in the system. They then refer to it as a zombie case, like it's some like,
you know, back from the dead, when in reality, it should have been charged, but Trump's DOJ
didn't charge it, was the issue. And they actually immunized people and went after Michael Cohen,
where Donald Trump was an unindicted co-conspirator in it. And then Donald Trump was
the cause of all of the
delay. They want to talk about releasing violent criminals. Donald Trump at his speech in the
Bronx brought on stage with him the alleged leader of the Crips who was alleged to have
murdered a person and engaged in 12 attempted murders in a 140-count
indictment. Trump was saying, I love your grill. I love your grill. I want to look like you.
They talk about the judge's daughter who has a job as though she's making tens of millions of
dollars by calculating the amount of money that what
campaigns are able to raise. She's not making, she's not a billionaire, she's not a hundred
millionaires. She's not making tens of millions of dollars. When you talk about donating,
let's be very clear. Like first off, all of the right-wing Supreme Court, like justices, like
they are appointed by Donald Trump. Like They're selected by him. Unfortunately,
our system has some layers. This is what people from other countries are surprised about,
that there is some political connections with judges from specific parties who get appointed
in our system, that there are appointments and that there are elections
is a strange process of our judiciary. Justice Merchant went a step beyond because I think it
was like $10 or like a $15 shirt or something that he previously bought and then asked for an
actual ethics opinion from the nonpartisan state bar, which says there actually is no conflict at all. They use the term witch
hunt and they use the term that they were like jury shopping. There's a jury shopping. There was
a voir dire process. A jury showed up. The both parties had the same opportunity to question the
jury. Remember throughout this trial, Donald Trump and people like Elise
Stefanik and others were saying, Donald Trump is going to turn New York red, that New York is now
a Republican state, and that there are all these people in New York who want to vote for Donald
Trump. But then when it goes the opposite way, they go, oh, the jury in New York is actually
rigged because it's a Democratic state. Forget that we've been saying that there's all these Republicans in New York.
It's actually all Democratic now.
And just don't even worry about the internal inconsistencies there that absolutely make
no sense.
If you go to the jury questionnaire, the questionnaire says questions.
Have you or a relative or a close friend worked or volunteered for any anti-Trump group
organization?
Have you ever attended any, by the way, have you ever attended a rally or a campaign event for any
anti-Trump group organization? Are you signed up for, have you ever been signed up for, subscribed
to, or followed any newsletter or email listserv run by or on behalf of any Trump group organization?
Do you currently follow any anti-Trump
group organization on any social media site, or have you done so in the past? And then after those
written questions, Trump's lawyers could ask the jury pool, hey, by the way, are any of you
following President Biden's social media? You could ask those questions to the jury. So that's the process that exists
here. And then they go, oh, it's rigged. A grand jury indicted, a jury after seven weeks of trial,
after 12 hours of deliberation, five weeks of receiving evidence where Donald Trump refused to testify, where they
called this horrific MAGA lawyer, Robert Costello, who like broke down and like on the stand, who was
like the worst, where Trump's lawyers were trying to sell the jury that Donald Trump never even had
a relationship with Stormy Daniels. The jury heard all of that stuff and said, no, you're guilty.
What are you talking about? You never did anything with Stormy. Everything you're saying is such an obvious lie
where evidence matters. I wanted to go down that just one by one by one by one by one by one.
Then you can see why every one of those things is a lie.
You were going through so many of them. Did it even hit the one where she said that there is a
huge crime crisis happening under Biden in New York when it's the complete opposite?
Crime is plummeting by record amounts in the city of New York. I'm not even sure if you covered that
one because there were so many- I meant to say that one where I was talking about where Trump
then brought on one major criminal. Trump put him on the stage and was like, hey, I'm with this guy.
I'm with this guy. And then after you go
through all of this, they then, same thing with the election, right? Then it's rigged. You go
through all of your conspiracies. Then you say rigged. And then what do you do? You then whine.
You then send your main legal scholar, Jonathan Turley, who's not really a legal scholar. He's
disgraced the George Washington University. He's like the MAGA's
go-to person. And then this is the guy who Trump was saying, Jonathan Turley, Jonathan Turley.
You listen to what Jonathan Turley is saying. So then Turley goes on Fox today, and his whole
thing right now is after you exhaust all of these things, after it's all debunked,
what do you then say? Play the clip. But it also would be absurd to send him to jail.
He is an elderly first offender, nonviolent crime in a very controversial prosecution.
He's too elderly.
Too elderly.
Too elderly.
And that's where they go to.
Let me put together magalog logic after hearing that clip.
So Donald Trump, too elderly for prison, but young enough for the White House.
However, President Biden, young enough for prison, too elderly for the White House.
MAGA man. Brett Meisdell is happy birthday White House. Maga, Maga.
Brett Meisdell is happy birthday, Brett.
Happy birthday, big bro.
