Starting point is 00:01:20 posting things like this. Crooked Joe Biden, Mayorkas, and so-called borders are. Kamala Harris really screwed our country by letting anyone and everyone come in totally unchecked and unvetted. This says it's increasingly clear that Donald Trump was the one who granted asylum to the D.C. shooter. Donald Trump, quite literally, is physically falling apart in Marlago where he is yet again vacationing on the taxpayer dime. Just take a look at these photos right here. Both of these photos were taken this weekend. You see former President Joe Biden on the left. You see Donald Trump on the right. Maga wants to attack the health of former President Biden, when in reality, Donald Trump, unfortunately, is the one in the Oval Office right now who looks significantly

Starting point is 00:02:06 worse. Donald Trump then gives himself Fox TV therapy. He had to turn on Fox. And then he says that a political commentator named Deborah Lee was great on Fox and Friends this morning working with the wonderful Charlie Hurt. You know, what was interesting is that, you know, her commentary, was actually not all that complimentary of Donald Trump. She was saying, put your grudges until the end of your term and focus right now and trying to do things so you don't lose in the midterms. But Donald Trump was really happy about the way she presented that information. She then did a social media post on Instagram back to Donald Trump.

Starting point is 00:02:45 And by the way, her prior posts include the following. Who wants to play mermaid with me? That's apparently how you audition right now to get a cabinet position in the Trump regime. Just take a look right now at what is going on in a meeting in the United States between the Ukrainian delegation that is here, as well as you see Steve Whitkoff, who is the one laundering the Russian plan of surrender to Ukraine. You see right there Marco Rubio and Jared Kushner,

Starting point is 00:03:16 it's in the room, why the hell is Jared Kushner there? Isn't it enough just to keep grifting off the American taxpayers and making billions of dollars from the Saturday? you've got to be in that room to screw up things even more, Kushner. Just look at the faces of the Ukrainian delegation, looking across from them at the traitors who want to give their land to Russia. Do you see how utterly pissed they are? But look, folks, as I said, you know, as Donald Trump throws his temper tantrum this morning,

Starting point is 00:03:43 there are ways that he likes to medicate himself. He turns on Fox. He likes to make social media posts about some of the commentators that he likes. And then he sends emails to grift off of his supporters. That's a fun pastime of Donald Trump to give himself the therapy he needs as he is psychologically, cognitively, mentally, physically deteriorating. So he's like, I need that mag of money. Let me rip off all of my supporters again. So he sends an email to his supporters saying, this is the only tariff rebate email authorized by President Trump.

Starting point is 00:04:16 And it's Donald Trump holding $100 bills, taunting his supporters, asking them if they want a tariff rebate. and then for how much, and then when they click it, you want a tariff rebate, say, for $2,000. So you click $2,000 and guess what? You end up paying Donald Trump $2,000 to his campaign. Yes, his campaign. He's still campaigning and has a campaign fund right now where you pay Donald Trump. Who the hell knows where that money is even going? I think we probably actually do know.

Starting point is 00:04:46 And then Donald Trump sends this doozy. He goes, Ben, I hate asking my supporters for help. But today is one of those days where I just don't have another option. I need your help. My end of month deadline is less than 24 hours away. I need your help to reach my presidential fundraising goal ASAP. I wouldn't ask unless it was important, will you make a personal sacrifice for me and help me reach my fundraising goal? So as Americans are suffering right now, Donald Trump is asking the American people to make sacrifices for him, a billionaire who's made that money, lying, cheating,

Starting point is 00:05:22 stealing, committing fraud, and screwing over the American people. The Trump regime then sends its propaganda artists to make its rounds on the morning shows this morning. So you had Christie Nome saying, oh, it was former President Biden who was responsible for the vetting that Trump did in April of 2025. Yes, Trump was in office. Trump was the one who granted asylum, but Biden did the vetting. So we're going to blame Biden.

Starting point is 00:05:49 You're in office. When Biden did the vetting, the vetting actually cleared back in 2021. But guess who's in office now? Yeah, Donald Trump's in office. It's your responsibility. You can't be in, what, October, November, December, January, what next November? Is it going to be Biden did this? Biden did that.

Starting point is 00:06:07 Every time you invoke Biden's name right now, don't you realize how stupid you look and how stupid the American people think you are? Here, play this clip of no. And you said that he was radicalized here in the United States. United States. He was admitted to this country by the Biden administration. That's 100% correct, 2021. But he was granted asylum by the Trump administration in April. So did you see any red flags? If you remember, John, all the information that was gathered on that vetting process was gathered under the Biden administration. His asylum claim application started under

Starting point is 00:06:44 the Biden administration. That information was provided by them. And the responsibility lies with them. And we need to know that and speak the truth of how this entire process happened so that we can fix it. That's what President Trump has been doing and dedicated to is that when we look at people who deserve asylum, they have to be thoroughly vetted. They weren't under the last administration. That is completely changed under President Trump. But again, he was granted asylum in April. So President Trump had already been in office for several months. You had been in office. Are you saying there was no vetting done by the Trump administration, you were simply relying on what had been done under the Biden administration.

Starting point is 00:07:24 You did no vetting before granting him asylum? The processes put in place were put in place using information. It was gathered during the application process that happened under Joe Biden. And that has been completely fixed. And you had Mark Wayne Mullen, MAGA Republican Senator, MAGA through and through whatever Donald Trump says, Mark Wayne Mullen agrees with. It doesn't matter what it is. And so Mark Wayne Mullins asked a question here on the CNN morning show.

Starting point is 00:07:53 And he said, hey, so I'm just trying to understand this. You claim you're going after the narco-terrorist, the drug traffickers. But Donald Trump announced this weekend that he's pardoning Juan Hernandez, Juan Orlando Hernandez, the former president of Honduras, who was one of the biggest narco-terrorists, who was convicted in a federal court in the United States, sentenced to 45 years in prison. This guy said, literally, I'm going to shove the cocaine down the noses of those gringoes until they die. He worked with Chapo.

Starting point is 00:08:27 Chapo gave him millions of dollars to give the Sinaloa cartel safe passage. This guy's whole career was being one of the top drug traffickers. So that makes sense to you to pardon the top narco terrorist who's in prison in America. Justify that Mago Republicans here play this clip. Presidential power is pretty much absolute, and I get that, but as an ally of the president, as a senator, you I'm sure have an opinion, is on the one hand threatening Venezuela and Maduro while on the other hand saying that you're going to pardon a guy who was convicted in American justice system for doing exactly what you're saying, you know, intentionally poisoning Americans with drugs. Is that a good idea? Well, I wasn't involved in the conversations that he had with the president of Honduras at the time. I believe there's probably a good faith that is being stretched forth here. If you saw the true social post he put out, there was a direct message.

Starting point is 00:09:31 I guarantee you the president's foreign affairs approach is one that's being very effective around the world, a lot better than the Biden administration. That's why world leaders are coming in every single day wanting to visit with the president. That's why the president is able to stop eight foreign wars and hopefully nine if we can hopefully negotiate a deal between Ukraine and Russia because the world leaders respect him. And so what the president is doing is always calculated. And I haven't had a direct relationship or conversation with the president about it. But I do trust his natural reaction and his approach to foreign to foreign affairs because we can see it's being very, very effective. I want to turn.

Starting point is 00:10:09 Then you have on Fox state regime media, Alina Haba, she's. back in action and you know what she's going to talk about auto pen because right now as americans can't afford their groceries right now as americans are struggling living paycheck to paycheck psychologically tortured unable to pay their rent right now as we have the highest foreclosures in modern history yeah alina hobb is talking about the auto pen autopen this auto but i don't know what you're talking about just your next deranged conspiracy just act like freaking adults here play this clip says the auto pen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the president of the united states the radical left lunatics circling biden around the beautiful resolute desk in the oval office took the presidency away from him

Starting point is 00:10:56 and the president wants to void all documents that were allegedly signed by biden's auto pen yeah i don't disagree at all the president is 100% right i can tell you right now is somebody who worked in the west wing as somebody who worked with President Trump. That man is signing everything with intent, with knowledge, and with his own ink to paper. We do not use the auto pen for executive orders. The president knows what he is doing. Now, go back to President Biden. I don't think he knew what he was doing, but I will tell you what, the people around him most certainly did.

Starting point is 00:11:29 And they were not elected into office. Now, while all of this is also going on, Donald Trump's out there, as I said, the way he loves to scam people. and what better place gives you to do the biggest office in the world gives you the biggest platform to scam. That's how Donald Trump thinks about it. While other presidents would say that's the biggest responsibility to conduct yourself pursuant to the Constitution, not Donald Trump. So what Donald Trump's out there saying right now is I may eliminate income taxes because tariff income is just so high that we won't even need income tax. Well, income taxes bring in about $3 trillion. dollars, the tariffs which are taxes on the American people at most may bring in $200 billion.

Starting point is 00:12:14 It's a tax on ourself, by the way. It's why spending by dollars was higher on Thanksgiving, but people bought less significantly because things are more expensive right now because there's a tax on the American people through these tariffs being passed through because a tariff is a tax on the importing company. So Trump says he's going to offset $3 trillion by $2,000. billion dollars, which doesn't make sense at all. And by the way, his tariffs are likely going to get knocked out by the Supreme Court very soon because they're unlawful. And it's just so interesting when I was looking at this latest scam by Donald Trump. It's notable that right-wing media

Starting point is 00:12:53 ran on this story and right-wing media is reporting. Trump says he's going to do this. Trump says he's going to do this. And I noticed that there was very few left-wing media sources that were reporting on it. I mean, perhaps they were reporting on it critically, like, I'm doing right now saying he's a con artist, but this is being pushed by right wing. Why? Because they lie to their base to try to string them along. And by the way, I get asked often, Ben, how do you do your news reports in the morning? Where do you get your news from? Well, I stay up to date on the news all the time in order to do this podcast. And the biggest news source for me, it's called ground news. You guys, this is a subscriber-funded app and news site. Starting point is 00:14:56 Getting back to some of the other news right now, you had Donald Trump's border czar Tom Holman saying that anybody who is here on asylum, he views basically as a criminal and that he's going to deport them all essentially. We'll deport them all because they're all bad. Here, play this clip. There's no way to clearly vet these people, you know, 100% that they're safe to come in this country from these third world nations. President Trump's doing the right thing, reviewing every one of these people who came under Biden administration and drilling down on them. I really, truly think that most of them are going to end up being deported. because we're not going to be able to properly vet them.

Starting point is 00:15:34 Then you had Alina Haba this morning saying that, you know, there are individuals who view America as a safe harbor for them and their family. They should never view it that way. Do you know that Alina Haba's parents emigrated to the United States from Iraq, citing persecution? Literally her parents are doing the thing here that she condemns. As she's what, she's pretending that her grandparents came. here on the Mayflower and that she's white? Is that what she's doing? Here, play this clip.

Starting point is 00:16:04 There was no process. We were allowing open borders. We were allowing criminals, criminals to come into our country. And then there were individuals that were saying that this should be a safe harbor, a safe haven. Why? America is America because we protect our own. We don't allow this to happen. So when you say we, I want to be very clear. It is not a we. It is not the Trump administration. It was not Trump one. And it is most certainly not Trump administration that is currently happening. Then you have Christy Noem dismissing reports about Hegsith murdering people at the sea and the war crimes being committed. And she goes, oh, that's just based on anonymous sources. That's not really happening. You see how they lie about everything. You know there's

Starting point is 00:16:48 going to be drone footage. There will be a video. The reporting by the Washington Post describes the video that exists of the two individuals clinging on. So we will see a video of it happen. It will be pretty easy to determine the war crimes here. Here, play this clip. But let me ask you about another question. It was during that period of time. There's a Washington Post report that one of those Venezuelan boats that was attacked by a U.S. missile ledged drug boats that a second missile was launched because there had been

Starting point is 00:17:20 two survivors clinging to the wreckage of the boat. Do you, I know this was obviously carried out by the Defense Department, but is the administration concerned here that that may have very? violated the laws of war? I mean, was there an imminent threat posed by those people that were clinging to the wreckage of a boat that had already been struck? Oh, John, that entire story is based on anonymous sources. So we see the press and we see that rag use anonymous sources all the time to print things that aren't true, that are lies that are completely not based in reality. So I would not put any credibility to that story to what was said.

Starting point is 00:18:03 I have full faith and trust in this president and in this government to do the right thing to keep the American people safe. And I'm so grateful at the amount of work that has been done to stop those deadly drugs from getting into our country. And I want to highlight this. I thought Governor Tim Walls this morning, his appearance was an important one. Remember, Donald Trump just called Governor Walls the R word. at midnight, right? Two nights ago, midnight, he's Trump went on a rant after Thanksgiving and said, this guy seriously our word. And here's what Governor Walls had to say about that. Let's play this clip. Governor, let me have you weigh in on this because part of your initial response to

Starting point is 00:18:43 President Trump's post was to call for him to release the results of his MRI. And I want to give you a chance to give our viewers exactly a sense of what you mean. What exactly were you suggesting by that, Governor? Well, here we got a guy on Thanksgiving, where we spent time with our families, we ate, we played Yotsie, we cheered for football or whatever. This guy is apparently in a room ranting about everything else. This is not normal behavior. It is not healthy. And presidents throughout time have released a couple things. They've released their tax returns, not Donald Trump, and they've released their medical records, not Donald Trump. And look, the MRI is one thing.

Starting point is 00:19:26 But I think what's most concerning about this is, as your viewers out there are listening, has anyone in the history of the world ever have an MRI assigned to them and have no idea what it was for, as he says? So look, it's clear the president's fading physically. I think the mental capacity, again, ranting, you know, crazily at midnight on Thanksgiving about everything else. There's reasons for us to be concerned. This is a guy that randomly says the airspace over Venezuela's closed. He's ruminating on if you could win a nuclear war. Look, this is a serious position. It's the most powerful position in the world. And we have someone

Starting point is 00:20:04 at midnight throwing around slurs that demonize our children. At the same time, he's not solving any of the problems. So I'm deeply concerned that he is incapable of doing the job. And again, Governor Walls then talks more about Trump calling him the R word. And just, then he says here, as an educator and parent, you know, using that term is so damaging. Here, play this clip. Look, Donald Trump insulting me is a badge of honor for me. But I think we all know as both as a educator for a couple decades and as a parent, using that term is just so damaging. It's hurtful.

Starting point is 00:20:42 We have fought three decades to get this out of our schools. Kids know better than to use it. But look, this is what Donald Trump has done. He's normalized this type of hateful behavior and this type of language. And mainly, look, at first, I think it's just because he's not a good human being. But secondly, to distract from his incompetency. We know we just came through a Thanksgiving where prices are up. We know people are concerned about heating their homes as we're experiencing blizzards out here at the same time.

Starting point is 00:21:08 He's cutting those programs. So look, we cannot allow this to be normalized. And I thought Governor Wall is here talking about, you know, well, Donald Trump and this regime, they like to say this is woke and that is woke. He goes, you could use the word like no one's preventing you from saying the R word, okay? But if you use it, you have to realize that it's hurtful and it damages people. And as grownups, as adults, we want to encourage people to be inclusive and to work with each other and to not be mean and to not be evil.

Starting point is 00:21:40 Like, that's what this is about. You want to say the word, go say it. But if you say it, we're going to think you're a bad person and you're going to hurt people by saying it. So why do that? Here, play this clip. Look, we cannot allow this to be normalized. The people who, Trump is, you know, like this is language police.

Starting point is 00:21:57 You guys are woke. Many times it's just about being decent to people and making them feel included. You can use that word. Sure. You can use that language, but you shouldn't. And that's something that Donald Trump. Trump fails to realize. But again, Kristen, this is, this is cruelness.
