You know, I was reflecting on Flag Day this past Friday about how cultish the Republican Party has become, that they no longer fly the American flag. They fly flags with Donald Trump's mugshot on it. I reflected on how the Republican Party no longer sings the national anthem. They sing the January 6th choir song and they replaced it for the national anthem. And that's symbolic of a larger issue of how extreme, how anti-American, let's just call it for what it is,

the Republican Party has become. And I know for millions of Americans, the Republican Party has left them. Maybe you used to be a Republican or maybe you were an independent who would occasionally vote for Republicans. But this new Republican Party that is full MAGA, that is Donald Trump mugshot flag, is something that I just think is so anti-American. It's not conservative. It's not about conserving anything. It's quite literally the opposite of that.

And so I love to share the stories that you tell me about the turning point for you when you left the Republican Party because the Republican Party left you. And I encourage those who are watching this who have not shared their personal story before, maybe you have a friend, family member, colleague, neighbor, or just someone you know who was previously in the Republican Party or may have previously voted for Donald Trump but will never do that ever again, or can't be part of this cult, share the story, share the tipping point.

And I want to make sure that this pro-democracy community, no matter when that tipping point occurred, whether it was Donald Trump mocking a disabled reporter, Donald Trump saying that those who sacrifice their lives in our military are suckers and losers. Donald Trump attacking the late great Senator John McCain and saying, I prefer people who don't get captured.

Whether it's Donald Trump, support of the insurrection, whether it's Donald Trump becoming a convicted felon, whatever it was, I want to welcome you to the pro-democracy community where we love our country, we love our flag, we love our constitution, we love our democracy, and we show that with our actions each and every day. I want to share some of these stories that I just got, and then I want to share with you as well this contrast that I think will make things so perfectly clear. Here are some stories I want to share with you. Catherine writes, my mom turns 100 this year.

She's been a lifelong Republican until Trump. She's voting for Biden in 2024. Go mom and happy 100th birthday. Pamela writes, I live in a conservative rural agricultural community. Many of my conservative neighbors have confessed to me secretly that they would never vote for Trump. primary data that we are seeing the actual data from primaries showing that Donald Trump is losing anywhere from 15 to 20% support in closed Republican primaries. Heck, there was a special election in Ohio's sixth, a total Trump MAGA area where the MAGA candidate underperformed by massive, massive percentages. This has been the story of all these special elections, no red wave. I know the corporate media doesn't want to report on it,

but I think American people genuinely know, hey, President Biden's handling the economy well. President Biden is supporting our allies. President Biden is supporting Ukraine. President Biden is supporting workers. It's not just a let's help the deck of billionaires and deck of millionaires. Anyway, let me keep on reading you some of these stories. There are some more incredible ones. Mark writes, long story, never stopped hounding my Republican friend of 25 years. After 25 years, he went independent last month.

He finally had enough of MAGA. I'm proud of him. Independent, it's a start. One more no vote for Trump. And I think that's what's so important. Just independent thinkers who we can share the data with, right? They were getting a diet of Rupert Murdoch, Fox propaganda, Newsmax propaganda, which quite literally showed them manipulated footage.

And then they attacked any type of media that actually shows the truth. So let them look at the court documents. Let them see the actual videos in their full context like we show here on the Midas Touch Network. Mark writes, as a registered independent, I know I'm done with this guy. Go away. I plan to vote blue down the line this year until all MAGA people are gone. Jimmy writes, my father-in-law is a diehard Republican since Reagan, but will not be voting for Donald Trump, country over party.

Look, I'm not a big Reagan fan. Let me just put my cards on the table. But I went to the Reagan presidential library. It's in California in the Simi Valley area. And what I did see there, though, at the very least, was someone who respected at least the office, who talked about democracy, who said, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall. Not what Donald Trump says, hey, Putin, what can I do for you? Or hey, Kim Jong-un, write me big letters. So embarrassing to our country. Kendra writes, my father is a lifelong Republican. He supported and voted for Trump twice. He watched Fox News daily. He would acknowledge that Trump had twice. He watched Fox News daily. He would acknowledge that Trump had some moral and character issues, but still supported him. January

6th was the final straw for him, though. It opened my dad's eyes to the fact that Trump only cares about himself and is willing to flush democracy down the toilet if it benefits him. After that, he said that he can no longer support Trump and that I had been right about Trump all along. And I think you see with these comments that people are still willing to change. I think it's hard to totally change the mindset of someone so deep in the MAGA cult. They're going to have to come to that conclusion themselves. But I think if you just share them data, share with them data and give them the room, not force it on them at all, just share the truth and give them, hey,

I think it'll be an eye-opening experience. But then there's a whole group of Americans who aren't even following politics still right now. And they just think, oh, Democrats, Republicans, it's just both sides or just don't know what they're doing. And they're both problematic. And they're both causing problems. And so there's that group that just isn't fully engaging with politics yet. And I think when they know the facts, that's a group that can be moved as well, just to

the truth and to democracy and let them come up with whatever decision they want to come up with, but they at least deserve the facts. Then Dina writes, the day Trump mocked the disabled reporter was the day I began to grow contempt and even hatred for him. David Dickinson writes, my mother-in-law was a Trump supporter until we started living with her temporarily while our house was being built and my son kept watching MSNBC and hearing the truth. She was no longer watching Fox and was hearing more than the quote fair and balanced propaganda could offer but this

was before we even knew about Midas Touch. Kathy writes, I left the Republican party during Trump's presidency. It just made me sick. Every day there was a crazy post and it was so stressful. And then January 6th happened. I cried for our nation. When Biden was inaugurated, I felt such relief. Thank you for the Midas Touch network. Such a breath of fresh air as we are seeing all the main news outlets shifting to being supportive of Trump, like covering his political race and normalizing the awful things that he does. I mean, he's out there talking about his love of a fictional murderous cannibal, Hannibal Lecter. What? I mean, he's out there saying that the January 6th insurrectionists are hostages. What? Valky writes, I've always been a Republican. I voted for Trump in 2016 and so regret the decision. I voted for Biden in 2020 and will again this year.

I feel like my eyes have been opened. I'm looking back and seeing the other side of events I remember living through and realizing I have been lied to all along. It has to stop. Mainstream media is directly but not solely responsible for where we are. And I'm grateful for the Midas Touch Network. Thank you. Timothy writes, both my brothers voted for Trump in 2016. We had a huge argument today. They absolutely will not be voting for that horrible man.

Also, I have several Republican friends who will not vote for Trump either. The conversion of my family and friends have nothing to do with me. They are people of intelligence and morals and made that decision all on their own. That's what I think is important to happen. If you say, hey, why are you doing this? Why are you doing this? You're wrong. That's not gonna work.

I think if you just share with people the data, they will actually come to this conclusion on their own if they are people with morals and decency. Frank writes, Hi Ben, I voted for Trump in 2016. About nine months later, I regretted it totally. I had been a Republican for years and switched to the Democrats and have been a Democrat ever since. I love Biden's integrity, honesty, and dedication and caring about America. I'm a fervent believer in democracy and will once again put my vote beside Biden's name while in the voting booth. I live in a red state, North Carolina, and I'm praying it

Michelle writes, my husband, a Kansas Republican now in Ohio, has recently vowed to never vote for Trump. Sorry he didn't in 2016. He is adjusting to the Democratic life perfecto. Not as mad as I am, a lifelong Democrat. Vote blew all the way down the ballot. I'm now working on his Republican friends. Gary Cunningham writes,

Lifelong Republican until Trump said that veterans, that he liked veterans that didn't get captured. John McCain was a hero. I'm a disabled veteran and now we'll never vote Republican again. The knife dude says, my dad was a lifelong Republican. He might've initially voted for Trump, but he wouldn't have let him in our house. CW writes lifelong Republican voted for Trump. Once my party no longer exists, former president of young Republicans, former county campaign chairman for Republican candidate, former county Republican party. After 60 years, 60, I am no longer Republican because of what Trump has done to my party. Les Farrington writes, my mother voted for Republicans for

decades. My stepfather was a Republican mayor for years. Donald Trump has managed a miracle, the chosen one. My parents are now full-on Democrats. In 2020, they simply didn't vote for either presidential candidate. This year, they will vote full Democrat. My two remaining aunts, one of my best friends, is an ex-Marine lifelong Republican. Trump's 2020 loss reaction has forced my friend to vote for Biden. He's actually been a guest on Fox News a few times as a financial advisor, and now he sees Fox as an anti-constitutional propaganda network. I have had a part in most of these folks' conversion. It takes work and repetition in conversation. It's nearly impossible to argue with an idiot, but there's some intelligent people out there who are Republicans out of life habits. Kit writes, I left the party after the insurrection after being a lifelong

Republican and voting for him twice. I'm 77 and in Los Angeles. When Donald J. Trump ripped his mask off after being hospitalized and walked back into the White House, that really did it for me. I am now no party preference. Rick says, I supported Trump in 2016 until he stood beside Putin and declared he believed Putin over the United States intelligence agencies. I was shocked. So why is it with Donald Trump supporting our enemies, attacking NATO, having made up conversations in his mind that he articulates out loud, articulates probably not the right word though, about fictional conversations with fictional murderous cannibals with Donald Trump's support of the insurrectionists.

What's going on here? Well, a lot of the comments alluded to it, that there is billions of dollars being spent by billionaires who want an oligarchy here and they are spending it to manipulate your friends and your family and trying to manipulate you to vote for Donald Trump. And they put out just lies with repetition, billions of dollars being spent on this every day to try to brainwash people. And they do a good job at it. Take a look at this New York Post cover from this past week. Meander in chief. Biden embarrasses the U.S. with confused wanderings at world conferences. It's just totally a lie. It's made up. President Biden was complimenting a skydiver, but they cut that out of the shot. President Biden gave an incredible speech at the G7.

The United States entered into a 10-year security pact with Ukraine. Russia is reeling right now. Ukraine's on the offense. America's producing more gas than ever before as OPEC tried to rig it. Biden broke OPEC. 277,000 new jobs are created. Unemployment at record lows. But Fox is going to take what Donald Trump is doing as Trump is talking about being eaten by sharks over being electrocuted.

And the main word that we heard when Donald Trump spoke with these business leaders after speaking at the Capitol Hill Club and giving this rambling, meandering speech, everyone's saying he's meanders. Trump can't even get a sentence out. So what does Murdoch do? Has the New York Post and all of his media entities call Biden meandering, meanderer in chief, just 100% disinformation. The same way that the New York Post previously had a cover. I can show you hundreds of these. They wrote Joe Bryben. They used a Russian spy's lies about President Biden that was laundered through MAGA Republicans who Donald Trump dresses up in long red ties, who lied about 17 recordings of Biden that didn't exist, and Chinese spies who also cooperated with MAGA Republicans in Congress to try to destroy our country. And they used that against Biden. And then the New York Post wrote, Joe Bryben, FBI has secret file alleging money laundering. Just false. Just totally, utterly false and made up. Here's what I want to show you, though. Here's what President Biden said after Hunter was convicted. This just

shows you the character. This is character right here. Here, play this clip. Mr. President, about two weeks ago, you changed course to allow Ukraine to fire U.S. weapons into Russia. Given the reported successes, would you consider further expanding the parameters on U.S. weapons into Russia, even despite your concerns about escalation? And on the news from home, you're going through something that so many American families go through, the intersection of addiction and the criminal justice system. But you're not like most families. Was your son able to get a fair trial? Do you believe the Justice Department operated independently of politics? And for President-

Let me answer your question and you ask his question, okay? With regard to the first question, it is clear that the near abroad, meaning just across the line of the border with Russia and Ukraine, that it makes a lot of sense for Ukraine to be able to take out or combat what is coming across that border. In terms of long range weapons, longer range weapons into the interior of Russia. We have not changed our position on that sort. With regard to the question regarding the family, I'm extremely proud of my son Hunter. He has overcome an addiction. He is one of the brightest, most decent men I know.

And I am satisfied that I'm not going to do anything. I said I'd abide by the jury decision. I will do that and I will not pardon him. Compare that to what Donald Trump says when he gives his traveling fascist circus events that he calls rallies. Play the clip. And they ought to, you know what they ought to do? They ought to release the J6 hostages.

They've suffered enough. They ought to release the J6 hostages. They've suffered enough. They ought to release them. I call them hostages. Some people call them prisoners. I call them hostages. Release the J6 hostages, Joe. Release them, Joe. You can do it real easy, Joe.

This guy. You heard him? He said, release the hostages, Joe. He calls the January 6th insurrectionists hostages and says Joe release them Are you kidding me? And finally, let me just show you what President Biden said that the New York Post doesn't want to report Let me show you what actual strength looks like play the clip two and a half years ago Putin unleashed a brutal war in Ukraine and it's been been a horrifying deal for the Ukrainian people who are so brave and incredible. It also been a test for the world. Would we stand with Ukraine? Would we stand for sovereignty,

freedom and against tyranny? The United States, the G7 and countries around the world have consistently answered the question by saying, yes, we will. We will say it again.
