I voted for Orange Man twice. After the 2020 election, I was having doubts about what I had done. January 6th happened. That was the moment I left the GOP. Since then, I voted Democrat across the board. I feel good about the future getting rid of Republican politicians. When I look back at how did I get to this wrong point of view, I remembered Rush Limbaugh. Don't forget, he was feeding hatred against Democrats and liberals for three hours a day for about 40 years. He used a lot of tactics and half-truths to spread Republican ideology.

Trump and MAGA movement are the match that has put our country in this terrible situation. Rush, Fox News, Newsmax are the gasoline. They must be voted away. I've watched Biden since he was a senator. Never too impressed with him, all things considered, though he has done well. He and all Democrats have my vote going forward. And look, I think President Biden has been doing a very good job. But I respect viewpoints like this.

And I think it's important that we all are very welcoming to these viewpoints right now. You know that's what I preach here over and over again, that the pro-democracy community needs to be inclusive. And there are different moments when different people kind of break away. And for many, it was January 6th. For many, it was when Donald Trump mocked a disabled reporter. For many, it was when Donald Trump mocked a disabled reporter. For many, it was when Donald Trump talked about a Muslim registry. For many, it was knowing Donald Trump's history. There's all breaking points. But I want to welcome you all to the pro-democracy community. I think this,

Robert makes a great point about Rush Limbaugh and Fox. The amount of hate that they've spewed, how they've decayed our rhetoric, our discourse, mature, respectful discourse. Like, just give you this example. Rush Limbaugh, back in the day, he's now deceased, but when Rush Limbaugh was on the air, he would just spread hatred. He would mock disabled persons. Like, this is when he would just randomly mock Michael J. Fox for his disability.

Here, play this clip. symptoms of the disease he had. He can control himself enough to stay in the frame of the picture. And he can control himself enough to keep his eyes right on the lens, the teleprompter. But his head and shoulders are moving all over the place. So this is really shameless, folks. This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting. Right. And then compare that, like Donald Trump and the MAGA movement today mimic all of that stuff. Remember in the 2016 campaign when Donald Trump mocked the disabled reporter? Here, play this clip. Written by a nice reporter. Now the poor guy, you got to see this guy.

Oh, I don't know what I said. Oh, I don't remember. He's going like, I don't remember. Oh, maybe that's what I said. This is 14 years ago. He still, they didn't do a retraction. And of course, Donald Trump parroted Rush Limbaugh. I mean, here's a speech that Donald Trump gave two or three months ago at CPAC, at the

big right-wing convention where Donald Trump said, remember when Rush Limbaugh used to say these things about former President Barack Obama? Although Donald Trump doesn't use those words. Here, play this clip. He would always, right, Seth? words. Here, play this clip. He would always write, Seth. Rush would go Barack Hussein. You couldn't hear Barack or Obama, but the name Hussein, he'd be screaming. I don't know exactly what he meant by that. I think I do. I was a Republican for 55 years after January 6th. Never again. Trump is a disgusting grifter. Put him in jail. Treat him like everyone else. Vote blue. Sherry writes, I'm a proud rhino. I will never support the Conald. I thank God for Joe Biden every day. He spared us any more presidential harm to our country. Beth writes, I hate to admit it, but I was brainwashed by my lifelong Republican sister to vote for Trump in 2016, a decision I've regretted ever since. I voted for Biden in 2020 and I will be voting for Biden in 2024. Robert writes, my mom has been a

Republican in a very red state all her life. She believes Trump is crazy. She says she will vote straight blue in November. Midas Touch Network helped me get the truth to her. Folks, let this be a lesson to those of you who feel duped because we have all been there in this world today. You must do research and question everything you listen to all of the time. I am one grateful that many of you are seeing the light and that if you

truly love America, you will strive to be better. America has always been an incredibly great country. We are not perfect, but we are not Russia either, unless you want to vote for Trump. You all know Chris, who's been on our network before. He goes, set your minds free. It's okay to leave MAGA. It doesn't make you a traitor to America. Next comment, ex-MAGA here as well, but for me, it was the anti-NATO rhetoric. And when I heard Tucker Carlson gave a platform for Putin to reach to his supporters, that was the final MAGA straw for me personally. I felt nothing but disgust since they are traitors. DTG, dear Republican party, I'm breaking up with you. It's not me, it's you. I used to vote Republican most of my life until Trump. My husband and I are now unaffiliated voters.

We cannot talk to our friends, family that are deep in the right-wing media channels, Fox, Newsmax, OA, and Alex Jones. They all think they are right in their thinking, so we've given up, unfortunately, but it's truly freeing indeed to see, hear the truth, so keep it going. I'm still praying that one day

their eyes will be open to. I was a lifelong Republican. I'm very sad to say I supported Trump in 2016. I overlooked things I should not have and I'm horrified what he's doing to our country and the Republican Party. I am aghast at Trump's behavior on a daily basis. I voted Democrat in 2020 and will continue to do so until the Republican Party wakes up, if that is ever the case. Thank you, Midas Touch. You are now my primary source of political news. This is a video that Donald Trump made of himself attacking NATO and saying that he would want to pull us out of NATO, which means the end of a very stable world order. And it means Russia taking over Europe. Like, we can't take this. They can't. This isn't just, oh, well, on the one hand, President Biden's wearing cozy shoes. And on the other hand, Donald Trump saying to withdraw America from NATO. Oh, well, on one hand, President Biden's wearing cozy shoes. And on the other hand, Donald Trump saying to withdraw America from NATO.

Oh, I guess there's issues on both sides right now. Here, play this clip. This is a video Trump made of himself. Play this clip. At home, the State Department, the defense bureaucracy, the intelligence services, and all of the rest need to be completely overhauled and reconstituted to fire the deep staters and put America first. We have to put America first. Finally, we have to finish the process we began under my administration of fundamentally re-evaluating NATO's purpose and

NATO's mission. Our foreign policy establishment keeps trying to pull the world into conflict with a nuclear-armed Russia based on the lie that Russia represents our greatest threat. But the greatest threat to Western civilization today is not Russia. It's probably, more than anything else, ourselves and some of the horrible USA hating people that represent us. And the point I want to make too is that this nastiness, this behavior, this dangerous, that's not always what the Republican Party is. It's what the Republican Party enabled and then it took over. I thought that the late, great Senator John McCain's a fine man. I do.

I think his picking of Sarah Palin was atrocious, and that was one of the things that led to a full MAGA takeover. It was a very poor judgment and one of the problems with that. But think about Senator McCain's character. Remember this moment where a woman said to Senator McCain, try to say all these things about former President Obama, and then McCain's like, no, that's not true. Here, play this clip.

First of all, I want to be president of the United States, and obviously I do not want Senator Obama to be. But I have to tell you, I have to tell you, he is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared as president of the United States. Now, I just, I just, now look, if I didn't think I wouldn't be one heck of a lot better president, I wouldn't be running, okay? And that's the point. That's the point. And that's what a leader should do. That's a person of character right there. And that's what I appreciate.
