If you have questions or concerns about your gambling or someone close to you, As far as the trial itself, it was very unfair. We weren't allowed to use our election expert under any circumstances. You saw what happened to some of the witnesses that were on our side.
Starting point is 00:02:11 They were literally crucified by this man who looks like an angel, but he's really a devil. He looks so nice and soft. People say, oh, he seems like such a nice man. No, unless you saw him in action. And you saw that with a certain witness that went through hell. Donald Trump was visibly shaken. He looked unwell. He was quite literally unraveling before our eyes, as some Midas Touch Network contributors noted, perhaps not fast enough. He was also rambling in this press conference that he decided to give following his conviction on Thursday on 34 separate felony counts. He gave this press conference on Friday where he just very weakly tried to explain why he
Starting point is 00:02:59 didn't testify. He also attacked witnesses in violation of the gag order. Undoubtedly, this is going to be utilized by the prosecution in their sentencing memo requesting that Donald Trump be put in prison for a significant period of time when sentencing takes place on July 11th. Let me share with you some other moments from this press conference that Donald Trump gave moments ago. It was a total and utter disaster. You saw that first clip where Donald Trump says that his witnesses were quite literally crucified. I mean, you only called one witness, Robert Costello, the MAGA lawyer,
Starting point is 00:03:37 who just almost literally collapsed on the stand. What a horrible witness he was. And then Donald Trump talks about how he wanted to testify, but why he didn't testify because Donald Trump says, well, look, if I would have said the sun was out and the sun wasn't out, I could be sued for perjury. Just listen to him kind of whine and take a look at how weak he looks. Play this clip. I would have testified. I wanted to testify. The theory is you never testify because as soon as you testify, anybody, if it were George Washington, don't testify because they'll get you on something that you said slightly wrong and then they sue you for perjury. But I didn't care about that. I wanted to. But the judge allowed them to
Starting point is 00:04:15 go into everything that I was ever involved in, not this case, everything that I was ever involved in, which is a first. In other words, you could go into every single thing that I ever did. Was he a bad boy here? Was he a bad boy there? And my lawyer said, what do you need to go through? And all you wanted to do is testify simply on this case, because I would have loved to have testified. To this day, I would have liked to have testified. But you would have been, you would have said something out of whack, like it was a beautiful sunny day and it was actually raining out. And I very much appreciate the big crowd of people outside. That's incredible what's happening. Then Donald Trump denies that anything at all
Starting point is 00:04:56 happened with Stormy Daniels and says they're trying to use the prosecution was trying to use all of this salacious stuff. And by the way, none of the salacious stuff ever happened. Here, play this clip. Other people weren't able to testify, but with these people, they were able to use people salacious. By the way, and nothing ever happened. There was no anything. Nothing ever happened. Then Donald Trump violates the gag order and starts attacking Michael Cohen. I wonder if the prosecution's going to bring this to the court's attention even before the sentencing memo is submitted and Donald Trump's sentencing takes place on July 11th. Watch Donald Trump attack Michael Cohen here. Play this clip. Again, if I wrote down and paid a lawyer,
Starting point is 00:05:47 and by the way, this was a highly qualified lawyer. Now, I'm not allowed to use his name because of the gag order, but he's a sleazebag. Everybody knows that. It took me a while to find out, but he was effective. He did work, but he wasn't a fixer. He was a lawyer. They like to use the word fixer. He wasn't a fixer. He was a lawyer. At the time, he was a fully accredited lawyer. Also, where Donald Trump is speaking, it's very strange. You may notice that like the podium is so tiny and this like mic is so big. It's just a very strange scene right there. Then Donald Trump whines about Allen Weisselberg going to jail. By the way, Allen Weisselberg, Donald Trump's former CFO, pled guilty not once but twice.
Starting point is 00:06:31 First, Allen Weisselberg pled guilty to tax fraud. Second, Allen Weisselberg pled guilty to engaging in perjury. And when you plead guilty and the judge accepts a guilty plea, the judge asks a series of questions to somebody like Allen Weisselberg. Is this voluntarily done by you? Are you being coerced to do this? No, this is Weisselberg's decision to plead guilty. Here, play this clip. They didn't want him to testify. That's why he went to jail. They put him in jail twice. He's 77 years old. Now, normally I'd say that's an old guy, but I don't feel 77. Nobody ever says that about me.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I'd like them to say, gee, we have to have a little sorrow for this man because they just don't say that about me, but maybe I'm better off that way. I think I'm probably better off that way. And by the way, Donald, you may soon be joining Allen Weisselberg at Rikers. Here, Donald Trump then talks about NDAs are legal and NDAs are not a big deal. And the prosecution was calling this a slush fund or hush money. And that's not what this is. This is just a normal NDA where you pay off porn stars who apparently you have no relations with over $100,000 and then falsify business records.
Starting point is 00:07:59 But that's all this is, by the way. Here, play this clip. But the three things that he pled on having to do with the election and having to do essentially a little bit with me, they weren't crimes. They weren't crimes. Nor is paying money under an NDA. So we have an NDA, non-disclosure agreement.
Starting point is 00:08:22 It's a big deal, a non-disclosure agreement. Totally honorable, totally good, totally accepted. Everybody has them. Every company has non-disclosure agreements. But the press called it slush fund and all sorts of other things. Hush money, hush money. It's not hush money. It's called the non-disclosure agreement. And most of the people in this room have a non-disclosure agreement with their company it's a disgrace so it's not hush money it's a non-disclosure agreement totally legal totally common everyone has it have you heard of cancer fighting foods well the american cancer Society discovered that diets rich in

Donald Trump then randomly starts talking about how there are people sitting in schools with all these different languages. And he thinks that's a problem that there's all these languages out there. He thinks that's something that's important to mention in this speech. Here, play this clip. Where people are allowed to pour in from countries unknown, from places unknown, from languages that we don't even, that we haven't even heard of. We have people sitting in schools with languages where very few people have ever even heard of these languages. It's not like Spanish or French or Russian. Language is unknown. And then Donald Trump talks about people
Starting point is 00:10:47 in tents. Here, play this clip. You have China with just in the last few months, 29,000 people came in and I looked at them on a line and they look like perfect soldiers. They're almost all male from 19 to 25. It looks like a recruiting exercise. They have beautiful tents. They have propane stoves. They have cell phones, the best you can buy. I said, what's going on? It looks like they're building an army right in our country. By the way, even the commentators on CNN, who, by the way, I didn't, other than Karen Friedman Agnifilo from Legal AF and from the Midas Touch Network, I was not impressed with the coverage that CNN did during the criminal trial, but even, and the kind of both sides-ism there. But look, even CNN had to admit that
Starting point is 00:11:37 Donald Trump was rambling. He looked tired. It's a reminder of how much he's aged, how unwell he is. Donald Trump just speaking in these like bizarre MAGA-isms. Yeah, that's what he does at all of these events. That's why we keep on pointing it out. You know, yes, this is a ranting and raving press conference, but this is the type of speech he gives when he's in New Jersey and he's in the Bronx. Heck, when he was in the Bronx, he brought on stage with him Chef G and Sleepy Hollow, individuals who were just charged with a 140 count indictment, which alleges that they are the leaders of the crypt gang and that they engaged in a murder, over a dozen attempted murders, and terrorized New York. And these are the types of people Donald Trump's having on stage.
Starting point is 00:12:30 But y'all don't really mention that at all when you cover Donald Trump's. Oh, there's so many people in the crowd, which there isn't. But anyway, here's CNN talking about how weak Donald Trump looked. Play the clip. Yeah, and listen, this was probably Trump's biggest audience, right? In many, many months, so many Americans know about this verdict, want to hear him give some kind of statement. And here he is rambling, he looks awfully tired, he's beleaguered. To follow his train of thought, you'd really have to be sort of knee deep in megaism, you'd have to be knee deep in the goings on of this trial, which most
Starting point is 00:13:05 Americans are not. So here he is. I think there was an opportunity here. You know, you always sort of have to go into a Trump statement with sort of low expectations. I think he met those low expectations and surpassed them with this very rambling, tangential speech, completely self involved. It did have shades of, I think, 2015 when he talked about, you know, immigrants coming over and, you know, from different regions from Africa and Asia. So there were flashes of that. But this was a real, I think, blown opportunity for him and a real reminder of how much he's aged and how much he's sort of, I think, off his game. He doesn't really seem very strong in this. He seems very tired and beleaguered.
Starting point is 00:13:51 This is also notable as well. Olivia Newsy reports Trump entered the atrium of Trump Tower during this press conference, walking right past the famous gilded escalator from which he launched his 2016 campaign. He's reading from printed remarks, but he is mostly turned away from the script to direct his gaze at the cameras. There was no Melania anywhere in sight when Donald Trump was giving the speech as when they went down the escalators. Let's just take a look at this though. Across the country right now and across the world, here are some of the headlines right here. And I think Jason Kint does a good job posting them.
