And Michelle Obama, who has never spoken in public without complaining, goes viral for claiming that black women just never have the chance to articulate their pain. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles show. Welcome back to the show. There is breaking news.
Starting point is 00:01:51 This is so much, maybe I'll just do my whole show on this story. It's so beautifully delightful. Don Lemon of CNN fame, of CNN infamy, former CNN journalist Don Lemon, who recently went viral for conspiring with a mob to invade a church during a worship service, has just been arrested by the federal government. We will get to that wonderful story momentarily. Maybe we'll extend the show. We'll just make it a big party. We'll get to that momentarily. First, though, I want to tell you about Amazon MGM Studios' new movie, Melania.
Starting point is 00:02:28 From Amazon MGM Studios comes Melania. Every protocol, every precaution, every move coordinated. This new film takes you inside the 20 days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration through the eyes of the First Lady herself. The briefings, the planning, the process. private conversations, witness what it takes to secure her return to one of the most powerful positions in the world. Melania is only in theaters, January 30th. What's today? Here we, that's today. It's today. Only in theaters, go check out Melania today. This is big. I'm just,
Starting point is 00:03:05 I'm hearing it for the first time. I'm just, he was an amazing woman. No, hold on. The, The comparison is breaking down with the RBG thing. Don Lemon, Daily Wire reporting. Don Lemon arrested by feds for role in the Minnesota church protest. Is it too early to have a cigar? This is something I've been calling for for a little while now. Maybe during one of our clips, maybe I'll spark up a cigar. This is very good news.
Starting point is 00:03:33 And I wasn't sure. You know, look, I'm obviously a supporter of the administration, big Trump supporter. I say they get it right. 99.7% of the time. There have been a few things where I've said, I don't agree with that or that's not quite right. I did not think they were going to do it. I feared that the administration thought,
Starting point is 00:03:53 look, we have these ringleaders dead to rights on the Minnesota invading a church, screaming in the faces of kids, violating the face act. We got those guys dead to rights. Don Lemon is going to claim some kind of journalist exemption, First Amendment protection and pretend that he was merely a reporter covering the event rather than one of the conspirers of the event. And so I thought the feds had said, you know what, never mind, we're not going to go there.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Ladies and gentlemen, they got him. According to Lemmon's attorney, Abby Loll, he was arrested and said, quote, the First Amendment exists to protect journalists whose role it is to shine light on the truth and hold those in power accountable. There is no more important time for people like Don Lemon to be doing this work. To be doing this work. What is this work? This work is to violate federal law by disrupting church services, screaming in the faces of little kids. What is this work? So you knew that was going to be the defense, First Amendment. However, this is a bogus defense. you cannot commit a crime and then get off the hook because you claim to have been a journalist while committing the crime. That's what he's trying to do. He's saying, yes, I conspired with this mob.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Yes, I busted into a church and interrupted the church service in violation of federal law, namely the FACE Act, which really only exists to protect abortion clinics, but to get it passed, the liberals had to concede that it would also protect churches. I'm going to do all those things, but I'm going to hold a camera while I do. it. So I'm a journalist, so you can't arrest me. It'd be like saying, you know, you load up your gun, you go over to your enemy's house, you pull out the weapon, point it to his head, you say, I'm going to get you, you dirty rotten bum, I'm finally going to kill you. But hold on one second. Boop.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Hi, this is Michael reporting for the Michael YouTube channel. I'm going to shoot you now. Okay. Well, you can't arrest me for murder because I was a journalist while I murdered that. guy. You don't get to, you don't get to burgle a house, but as long as you film it or, you know, like write an article about it afterward, it's okay because you're a journalist. No. You can be a journalist, I guess, if you really want to be, but you don't, that doesn't give you license to commit a bunch of crimes. Don Lemon committed a crime by all available evidence, allegedly, reportedly, allegedly, by all the evidence we have from his own words, Remember, he was with that group of people.
Starting point is 00:06:34 He showed up to the church. He said, oh, I have a secret. People don't know what we're going to be doing in here. But, oh, I know. Yeah, you know because you conspired with them beforehand. He brought them coffee and donuts. He was part of this, not merely a passive reporter, an active participant. And I felt it was very important for the Trump administration to arrest him.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Very important. Because this is all just little tests. what the Democrats in the government and in the media are doing right now and in the street, some of these activist types, what they're doing is they're behaving like a little toddler who's testing daddy's limits. How far? Who can we get away with this? I dealt with my son just the other night.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Say like, buddy, don't stand up on that couch. And what does he do? Buddy, don't stand. He starts to just don't you do it. I see you. How high can I get? That's what the journalists. so-called or doing. Let's see what I can get away with. Can I violate federal law? Can I make a,
Starting point is 00:07:36 can I humiliate the federal government that way? Can I, the activists in the streets? Can I punch a cop? Can I kick in his taillight? Can I, can I? How far can I push it before they shoot? Can I drive my car into him? How far can I push it before the guy shoots me? And so you have to lay down the law. You have to, just like daddy talking to a toddler. You have to establish the standards, one, for the purpose of justice, but two, to prevent these things from spiraling even further out of control. What Don Lemon did victimized the members of that church. What Don Lemon personally did, victimized parents and little kids in that church. This mob that Lemon allegedly conspired with blocked off the kids in Sunday school from their parents.
Starting point is 00:08:22 This mob shrieked in the faces of the little kids who were crying, your parents are Nazis and they're going to burn hell. And they didn't just use naughty words. They violated federal law. As a matter of justice for the community and for the victims in the church, Don Lemon needs to be put on trial. And it would be great if you could face some jail time. We'll see the extent of this. Let's not forget, pro-life grannies have been thrown in the clink for months and years for violations of the Face Act because they were preying outside of abortion clinics demonstrating peaceably at abortion clinics.
Starting point is 00:09:03 What Don Lemon dead is a thousand times worse and if the pro-life granny is going to rot for years in the prison, I want Don Lemon to rot twice as long. Okay, wonderful news. I'm looking forward to whenever I get to my next clip so I can spark up this cigar. Okay, well, here's the next clip. It's not just the lunatic former journalists like Don Lemon,
Starting point is 00:09:22 who's got a history of bad behavior. Let's not forget that widely publicized event at Murphs Bar in Sag Harbor where he's accused of sexually assaulting someone. He's got a lot of problems. It's part for the course with journalists. You see this in government, too. Hakeem Jeffries, who's the Democrat leader of the House,
Starting point is 00:09:42 he took over after Nancy Pelosi left. Hakeem Jeffries is now just casually calling for the murder of the Secretary of Homeland Security. Just disgraceful. She's got to go. we are dead serious. She needs to be put on ice permanently. She's got to go.
Starting point is 00:10:04 And by the way, she's not the only one. She's got to be put on ice permanently. You get the pun. This is Hecim Jeffrey is doing a little. This is a poetry slam at the House represent. She's got to be put on ice. Huh?
Starting point is 00:10:20 No more Mr. Nice. Yeah. So he's, it's a pun, do you get it on the law enforcement agency? But that phrase has a meaning. That phrase has two meanings. To be put on ice. It can mean one of two things. It can mean to be tabled for the time being. You might have heard this in a corporate meeting. Hey guys, so you know what we're going to do? We're going to put this subject on ice for a second. Just going to let it, you know, keep it here, keep it fresh, but we're going to move ahead on some other plan. That's like
Starting point is 00:10:50 the businessy version of put on ice. And the other meaning is, is to murder someone. You can just look it up, look it up in a dictionary or Google or whatever. It just means to murder someone. Those are the only meanings of that phrase. So he's assuming he doesn't mean that she's going to be tabled for the time being
Starting point is 00:11:12 until the company gets around to addressing her again. He's saying that she needs to be murdered. And then he makes it clear too because he adds that advert. What do you say permanently after? needs to be put on ice permanently. That means she needs to be killed. And he says she's not the only one. Now, if this were just a one-off statement, you might say, okay, this guy's a hothead, he's a lunatic, maybe he didn't really mean it, maybe he doesn't know what that phrase means, maybe he's functionally
Starting point is 00:11:44 illiterate, I don't know, whatever, maybe, all of those things are plausible. In the context of the Democrat Party today, though, which I read the statistics yesterday, large, In some cases, half the party or more, supports political violence. Wishes Trump had been assassinated. Wishes the assassin hadn't missed. Thinks that political violence could be justified against conservatives. Maybe excused or justified or celebrated Charlie Kirk's assassination. In that world, you've got to take this very, very seriously.
Starting point is 00:12:17 And he's not the only one. Move out of D.C., move out of the federal government, go to Philly. The district attorney of Philadelphia is promising. to hunt down run-of-the-mill ice agents, just regular federal cops to hunt them down for decades.
Starting point is 00:12:34 We'll get to that momentarily first, though. I want to tell you about Toops and Co-organics. Go totoopsandco.com slash Noles. For years, probably many of you have thought you were using clean skin care, buying the trendy brands, reading the labels, trying to do the right thing. But when I started digging
Starting point is 00:12:50 into what was in those bottles, past all the pretty packaging and the marketing, I realized that I had no idea what half of those ingredients even were. One of the many reasons to go check out our sponsor, Toops & Co. When you look at Toops & Co's ingredients, compared to a lot of other brands, the difference is night and day. Most products are mostly water, fillers, and things you can't pronounce. Toops is the opposite. Real nourishing ingredients that actually support your skin.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Their tallow bomb is made from 100% grass-fed tallow, which sounds old-fashioned because it is. our great-grandmothers knew that tallow mimics our skin's natural biology better than any plant oil ever could. This is not just a product you put on your skin. It's nourishment you feed to your skin. I strongly recommend it. I love these guys, especially in the cold, crisp Arctic air of Nashville right now. If you are tired of wondering whether your skincare is messing with your hormones
Starting point is 00:13:44 or adding to your body's toxic load, this is your sign to make the switch. If you're ready to simplify your routine and actually feel good about what you're putting on your skin. Go to tups and co.com.com. Slashnoles. They're offering our listeners 25% off your first order with code Knowles. Tupsonco.com slash Noles for 25% off your first order. Folks, Thursday, February 5th, do not miss the live taping of the next episodes of Bar Fight with Michael Noles. Two shows, four special guests. We've got Mike Nellis and Brian Allen for the 6 p.m. show. And then we've got Harry Sisson and Chris Mowrie for the 8 p.m. show. Doors open 30 minutes before each show at John Ridge's Redneck Riviera in Nashville. You must RSP for the event. Click the link in the
Starting point is 00:14:26 description to register. We will see you there. Philadelphia District Attorney on the need to hunt down rank and file cops for decades. This is a small bunch of wannabe Nazis. That's what they are. in a country of 350 million, we outnumber them. If we have to hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades, we will find your identities, we will find you, we will achieve justice. So he justifies it by saying this is what the Israelis did to the Nazis, which makes perfect sense because the libs have been calling all of us anyone to the right of Hillary Clinton Nazis for many, many years.
Starting point is 00:15:20 But notice here he's not just saying we're going to imprison the president, Donald Trump. That itself was a complete upending of the political order of precedent, a total destabilization of our political order. But they did that. They already did that. They already tried to put him in prison multiple times. They justified killing him multiple times. They tried to kick him off the ballot because they knew he was going to get reelected.
Starting point is 00:15:46 that didn't happily those things didn't work now they're taking a step further they're not even calling for the arrest of presidents and former presidents they're calling for the arrest of rank and file cops simply for enforcing the laws that congress passed many decades ago because they're nazis apparently so this guy's a soros d a no surprise got a lot a lot of money from george saros he's one of those radicals but there are a lot of these people and i think they mean it it's not just the Wacko DAs, the new governor of New Jersey. Mikey Sherrill had this to say. I've already met with AG.
Starting point is 00:16:24 We are putting out information on what helping New Jerseyans know their rights. We are not going to allow any iced raids to be staged from state properties. And we are also going to be standing up a portal so people can upload all their cell phone videos and alert people. Like if you see an ICE agent in the street, get your phone out. Get your phone out. the ICE agents, maybe docs the ice agents. We're keeping a database so that best case scenario, we can go and prosecute cops for enforcing the law, and more likely so that our political followers, our violent political followers can go kill them. This is radicalism in the governor's mansion,
Starting point is 00:17:15 in the DA's office. Worth pointing out, got to give a hat to appear to Daily Wire's own, Luke Roziak. One of the people who was arrested with Don Lemon is a top aide for the Soros prosecutor in Minneapolis. And he was apparently arrested because of the Daily Wire reporting on, because of Luke's reporting on him. So this is really great stuff. I meant to light my cigar. Okay, I keep getting distracted. There's too much going on right now. I'll light my cigar during the next clip to celebrate the arrest of Don Lemon. Really good stuff from the Trump administration. You know, there's a lot of good stuff from the Trump administration. This is really good stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:52 They had to follow through. This was a game of chicken. We've been playing a big old game of chicken for a long time. And there were a lot of people who said, all the Dumers, all the panic hands, all that, nothing's going to happen. Oh, this is weak. All these jokers, some of whom didn't even vote for Trump in 2024. All these Dumer losers said, he's not going to do it.
Starting point is 00:18:15 And then finally, the Trump admin arrests people for the church attack. So yeah, well, they're not going to rest Don Lemon. I don't tell you, I didn't know if they were going to rest Don Lemon. I hope they would. I didn't hit the administration. And then what happens? They make good. Dumer is destroyed again.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Panicans destroyed yet again. How are they still breathing those panic hands? They've been so obliterated. Plan trusters totally vindicated. Ah, oh, this is good. This is a good day. Now, just to give us a hint of what happens if we ever lose elections. Here's Pramila Gaiapal, one of my favorite members on the other side in the
Starting point is 00:18:53 House describing what the Democrats will do if they get the gavel. We really need to, as soon as we get the gavels back, we have to dismantle DHS and ICE and CBP, and we have to reconstruct them to what they really should be doing. Remember, don't let people tell you that these are agencies that have always existed and they need to exist. They didn't exist before 9-11. They didn't exist before 9-11. We have to abolish ICE. This is a mainstream member of the house. We have to abolish ICE. And ice didn't always exist. They didn't exist before 9-11. Okay. That's true. Ice was founded, I think, in 2003. But, you know, there was an agency that dealt with immigration enforcement before ICE. Do you know what it was called? It was called INS.
Starting point is 00:19:48 some of the listeners will be too young to remember INS. Do you know what INS was? It was just ice. It was just ice but spelled differently. You know how like we have the CIA. The CIA stands for the central intelligence agency. Now the CIA didn't always exist. Before the end of the Second World War, there was no CIA.
Starting point is 00:20:08 There was something called the OSS, the Office of Special Services. That was just the CIA. Like things get renamed. They're reconstituted. but the tasks that they accomplish remain basically the same. So when she says, we're going to abolish ICE, when the Democrats say, we've got to abolish ICE. Ice isn't even that old.
Starting point is 00:20:31 We got to abolish ICE. You say, okay, are you just going to bring back INS then? And keep Border Patrol to enforce the law, to arrest these guys and deport? Is that what you want? Why do we need to abolish ICE? Ask that question. Why is it that we need to abolish ICE? What is it about ICE?
Starting point is 00:20:49 that you want to abolish that would not equally exist under INS or some other version of immigration enforcement. It is not some quirk of ice. It is not that they just don't like the uniforms. It is not that they don't like this or that. The thing they don't like about ice, the reason they want to abolish ice
Starting point is 00:21:08 is because they want to abolish immigration enforcement. But we have always had immigration law enforcement in this country. What the Democrats want to do is not restore some older form of immigration enforcement. They want to abolish it all together. They've been pretty open about that. They opened up our border under Biden.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Action speak louder than words. They brought in three million illegals a year. They're now protesting in the streets, getting their lemmings killed, encouraging them to obstruct law enforcement to protect face tattooed rapists from Venezuela and fraudster Somalis. They want to abolish ICE because they want to abolish immigration enforcement, which is as radical proposal as we've ever had. Just ask them that.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Okay, we're going to bring back on. INS? That sounds great. Now, speaking of the police, there's something really, really beautiful about sometimes giving the libs what they want. On the case of abolishing ice, we should not. That would be too catastrophic. But sometimes the libs wish for things that they should not wish for. They need to be careful of what they wish for. One of the things libs wished for for a very long time was body cameras. Now prominent liberals are coming out against body cameras. What changed? We'll get to that in a second. First, I want to tell you about Van Man. Go to van man.shop
Starting point is 00:22:19 slash Knowles, K&WLAS. Use code Knowles. Have you ever actually read what is in your toothpaste? Fluoride, SLS, glycerin, foaming agents, chemical cocktail you're putting in your mouth twice a day. Big toothpaste has been selling you the same toxic formula for decades.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Our sponsor, the Van Man company, is changing that with their miracle tooth powder. People are ditching traditional toothpaste by the thousands. Van Man's tooth batter uses real grass-fed cattle bone, hydroxypapatite. Did I say that right? Hydroxyapotite. I think I said that right. It's the same mineral structure as your actual teeth to remineralize and strengthen enamel naturally. Most hydroxyapotite on the market is synthetic. Van Man uses the real thing from grass-fed cattle loaded with virtually all the minerals needed to rebuild two structure. Zero fluoride, zero-sLS,
Starting point is 00:23:08 zero foaming agents, completely edible because anything you put in your mouth should be, users report noticeably wider teeth and way less plaque. Beyond tooth powder, they also have a wide variety of other great products. These guys are just terrific. Make the switch to real oral care. Go to vanman.combe, shop, off your first order. Vanman.combe, shop slash knolls, use code noles 15% off your first order. Van Man, real ingredients, no exceptions.
Starting point is 00:23:34 So there's a liberal author, Alec, Karakatsanis. I think I pronounced that correctly. he is anti-police, wants to abolish all these law enforcement agencies. He's appeared on democracy now to explain why body cams on cops are terrible. They said in the wake of Michael Brown, we'll market it to low information, people on the public, to well-meaning, liberal people. We'll market it as accountability and transparency. And so they totally shifted, and then they were able to get hundreds of millions of dollars to, to, towards, their goal of outfitting every single cop in the United States with a mobile surveillance camera
Starting point is 00:24:14 that the police control. They control when it's on, when it's off, what it captures, when something is captured is released to the public. So if the police capture, let's say, an undocumented immigrant committing some crime, that's out on Fox News in the New York Post within hours. But if they capture the police doing something horrific, the public may never see that video. So body cameras are a mirage. And as I write in the copaganda book, and it's really critical to understand exactly how it happens. Not only do they not reduce police violence, but they have been an essential propaganda tool in convincing so many well-meaning people across our society that the authorities care about police violence, that they want accountability, that they're doing
Starting point is 00:24:55 something, right? And it distracts people from the core important kinds of changes that we need, which is to reduce the size and power of these bureaucracies. Oh yeah, hold on. He opens them because they push for these biocrates. You know, what those body cameras do is their propaganda tool and this is what. Who is they, though? To quote Kanye West, who is they though? What do you mean they were pushing for body cameras? The people who pushed for body cameras were the Democrats.
Starting point is 00:25:25 It was only the Democrats. He said, we need but now. Some Republicans were okay with it. But in the wake of the shooting of Michael Brown, which was completely justified when the gentle giant Michael Brown. He was this young man who robbed a store and then harassed a cop, grabbed a cop's gun, actually discharged it in the car, according to grand juries and eyewitnesses, then walked away and then charged at the cop. Only then did the cop shoot him. And then the Democrats made up out of whole cloth a story about how Michael Brown was a sweet little boy who put his hands up and said,
Starting point is 00:26:02 hands up, don't shoot. And the cop just executed him like the grand cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan. just a complete fictional narrative. So the Dem said, we need body cameras on cops. And some Republicans said, no, we don't. This is a waste of time. But then the cleverer Republicans said, okay, okay, great. Because it was a test, a test of reality. The Democrats who called, the smart Democrats did not call for body cameras.
Starting point is 00:26:35 The really clever ones did not want body cameras. cameras. Because body cameras were always going to show you the reality of criminals and law enforcement. And the reality of criminals and law enforcement doesn't look good for the criminals, and it does look good for law enforcement. But they called for, here it is. I mean, just in case you don't believe me, if you don't remember, CNN, this is a clip from CNN, Barack Obama, right out of the horse's mouth. I'm going to be proposing some new community policing initiatives that will significantly expand funding and training for local law enforcement, including up to 50,000 additional body-worn cameras for law enforcement agencies.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Need all those body cameras? Okay. So the sincere liberals really believed that more transparency would help their argument, because it would show people the reality of the situation, and they believed the reality of the situation was going to buttress their side of the argument, not the conservative side. Mind you, this is the party that thinks boys can be girls. Mind you, this is the party that thinks babies aren't really babies. They thought that reality was going to back them up.
Starting point is 00:27:50 And then what happened? They came out, they put the body camera, and it turns out the criminals are just awful. And 99 times out of a thousand, not even. 999,99 times out of a million, the criminals who get beat up or shot while they're being arrested are getting exactly what they deserve and the cops usually are showing restraint
Starting point is 00:28:16 even in those cases. That's how it really works. The Libs thought transparency would help them it actually hurt them. This is the same with every single issue. The Libs want to make a big show out of LGBT, I just mentioned it. They want to make a big show out of LGBT
Starting point is 00:28:33 We need more inclusion. We need more transparency. We need more visibility for transgenderism and LGBT. And then you know what happens? Look, good on them that they really, in some cases, believe what they're saying. So they say, we need more visibility. And then we see the visibility of what transgenderism means. And it means lopping the breasts off little girls.
Starting point is 00:28:52 It means castrating little boys. It means hacking away at the skin and flesh and meat of a person's foreskin to construct a mutant, grotesque phallus to create. the simulacrum of an appendage of the opposite sex. The reality of it is anxiety, depression, suicidality, sterility, and early death. That's the reality of LGBTism. The reality of LGBTism is social discord and child abuse. That's the reality of it. So you want more visibility? Be my guest. We have had, there is no question. Let's go back to Willing Grace, 1998 was it, 1999, Will and Grace all the way up through Gavin Newsom saying, I want to see more trans kids like a freak.
Starting point is 00:29:42 We've had a lot of visibility. What's happened? In that time, you had an increase in support for LGBT until just a few years ago. And then when that visibility really broke through, you've had a massive decrease on every front. Certainly transing the kids, transgender generally, same-sex marriage, the list goes on and on. the visibility didn't help them. Same thing on abortion. You want visibility on abortion? Look at the little baby. Look at what the baby really looks like in the womb. This is why the pro-abortion advocates don't want the reality of abortion ever to be seen. They don't want to use the real words like baby or even fetus.
Starting point is 00:30:18 They want to say clump of cells or whatever. Because the visibility, the transparency hurts them because reality is not on their side. Immigration, the reality of immigration is that the people who are coming to this country generally not ideal. The way they talk about it, they're all dreaming, wonderful future engineers and doctors who, you know, want to salute the flag and shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July. The reality is face tattooed rapists, human traffickers, and drug dealers. That's the reality. So you bring in the visibility of the transparency. What happens? Trump wins the popular vote running unmasked deportations. Which is why. You want the proof of this? Is the proof. Axios is reporting. Do I have it? Scoop. House Democrats told by leadership not to go to Minnesota. This is it. You want to know who's really winning the optics war in Minnesota. You had some panic hands on the right, some of whom are friends of mine.
Starting point is 00:31:15 They said, oh, we're losing the optics war. This is really bad. We need to scale back in Minnesota. Look at the polling. The polling shows that people, even though they overwhelmingly support mass deportations, it seems like they kind of want people out of Minnesota too. what do we do? This is the biggest tell.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Democrat leadership says, yo Dems, do not own Minnesota. Do not own this. This is a loser for us. Why? Why isn't it working? Why isn't this working like George Floyd worked? Because, two reasons.
Starting point is 00:31:51 One, because the victims here, the people who have been shot, justifiably, are white. They've been black. It might be a different story, but they're white, so it doesn't work. At a deeper level, though. Do you know why the House Democrat leadership wisely is telling their constituents, their members not to go to Minnesota, not to own this issue?
Starting point is 00:32:11 Because most people support mass deportations, that's why. Because we've seen the visibility of what immigration means. We don't like it. The American people don't like it. And the Libs tried to make this a demographics issue, or maybe we'll boost our support with Hispanics over the immigration issue. You know what's happened since Trump has. rated Minnesota, his support among Hispanics has gone up. Huge loser issue for the Dems. Okay. Before we get into mailbag, speaking of migration, there's a great story out from the AP.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Mass migration to Northern Europe has not changed Winter Olympics teams. This is really, there's been mass migration, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and yet there's a scandal because you're not seeing enough Somali and Eritreans on the snowboarding team. Immigration from Africa and the Middle East is changing the demographics of Europe's top winter sports countries. But that hasn't really translated to their largely white rosters heading to the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. For instance, Team Sweden is almost entirely made up
Starting point is 00:33:21 of ethnically Swedish athletes, which is hardly a reflection of the country's diversity, as Sweden has welcomed historic numbers of asylum seekers in recent decades. Experts point to social, financial, and geographical barriers, barriers and believe there needs to be a big cultural shift for anything to change. Experts also believe that more needs to be done by winter sports to improve accessibility, specifically for immigrants and underserved communities. A quick question. Why? Why does that happen? The problem that the AP has is that the Swedish
Starting point is 00:33:54 Olympics team is full of Swedes. Now, one might be tempted to extrapolate and say, yeah, shouldn't Sweden be full of Swedes? Hold on. Why are we just narrowing our question to the Olympics team? Why are there all these non- Swedes in Sweden? However, let's just focus on the team and then the type of Olympics, the Winter Olympics, and then the sports. In my understanding of geography and history, Afghans are not great skiers, I think. I don't think Somalis are the best snowboarders in the world. So they don't do those things. And maybe they could, but they don't. My bigger question is, why do they have to?
Starting point is 00:34:43 Why do they have to? Why is diversity, this ultimate good? Amy Klobuchar just came out. She said that her favorite photo of her daughter, do we have this clip of Amy Klobuchar, her favorite photo? It doesn't matter. I'll just tell you what she said. She said, my favorite photo of my daughter is one where she's surrounded by Somalis.
Starting point is 00:35:03 I say, why? Like, I don't, I don't, we've been beaten up on Somalis a lot recently and with good reason, but I'm not saying, they're children of God, right? You know, like, I don't, I don't have anything in particular against the Somalis other than all the fraud and the piracy and the terrorism. But why would that be your favorite photo of your daughter? Like, not her first communion. I don't, that would be not, not her high school graduation, not her, you know, a gram, not the picture at Grammy and Grams. 60th wedding anniversary? No, it's just surrounded by a bunch of random Somalis. Why is that, why is diversity the ultimate good? Why does the AP have to make this whole little documentary
Starting point is 00:35:46 report saying, you know, many experts are saying that Sweden needs to get a bunch more Africans on their ski team? Like, why? Why does that have to be done? Why do Africans have to be made to ski. The Jamaican bobsled team is a funny thing. That's kind of a one-off, though. They made a movie about it because it's weird and funny. That's not normal. It doesn't have to be normal. Why is diversity the highest good? I'm not convinced that diversity is a good. I guess the diversity of life generally can be good. I just wouldn't make an idol out of it. And I think that strength comes from unity, not exactly diversity. When people say the diversity is the spice of life, you say, that's good. You only want a little spice, though.
Starting point is 00:36:35 When you make a stew, when you make a sandwich or something, you put a little spice on it, not a lot of spice. Why is this the ultimate good? I don't know. I don't. I guess the reason is that the libs always pervert or even invert reality. And so we've seen the reality of diversity, what that means in Europe. northern Europe. You know what it means? It means the rise of far-right political parties in Europe. Because this political realization is not just happening in America. It's happening throughout Europe too. The Libs say, look at the reality of diversity. And then the people say, oh, yikes,
Starting point is 00:37:18 this is what diversity means. No, thanks. Before we go, I promised we would get to it. Michelle Obama describing how hard it is for black women, because They never talk about their pain. We don't articulate as black women are pain because it's almost like nobody ever gave us permission to do that. And does anyone care? Yeah, there's that. They care. If we knew, I think we would care.
Starting point is 00:37:48 If we knew. If we knew. Yeah, if we knew. If we only knew, did you know that black women sometimes are unhappy? Did you know that? Let's zoom in specifically. on Michelle Obama. Did you know that Michelle Obama is displeased? I did know that. Do you know how I knew Michelle Obama is displeased that she feels pain? Because she has never ever spoken a single word in
Starting point is 00:38:17 public that was not a complaint. In my experience, and I've been paying attention to Michelle Obama much longer than I wish I had for what, 17, 18 years now, has she ever spoken in? Is she ever spoken in public without complaining. No, not to my knowledge. And then her poor, is that her brother moderating the interview? Yes, no, I think, I think if we knew. If only, yes, if only we knew. If only the Michelle Obama's of the world would finally complain a little bit,
Starting point is 00:38:48 then we would know of the pain that they're feeling. There's another story I really want to get to. I know I don't have time, but I'll just tease it for Monday. There's a Florida company, or sorry, Florida couple, suing an IVF company there's a couple white as the freshly driven snow with a little baby that is either black or Indian I think Indian and it almost looks AI
Starting point is 00:39:13 that it's being reported in newspapers that they got the wrong baby from IVF gave birth to the space it's the wrong baby oops I really want to get to that story but we don't have time but you know why because we got to get to the mailbag hey what are you watching this weekend
Starting point is 00:39:31 I have the answer for you There is a lot streaming on Daily Wire. Not just look, obviously we do the daily shows during the week. It's a ton of fun. But there is some great new stuff that is hitting the platform that you have to watch this weekend. That would be Mount Walsh's new documentary series. It's actually a docu-series, which is real history with Mount Walsh. He covers slavery.
Starting point is 00:39:48 The Libs are going to hate it. It's going to give you the real facts and you can go use it as ammo at the water cooler. Terrific story. You know, Matt, he's got that kind of laconic dry. It's excellent. The Pendragon Cycle is getting rave reviews everywhere, including from people who hate the Daily Wire, including from people who hate conservatives and Trump and everything.
Starting point is 00:40:05 It's just so unbelievably good. I cannot articulate how excellent it is. You have to see it to believe it for yourself. And then most important of all, Bar Fight. We got Bar Fight coming out, baby. Go check out what is Bar Fight? You know what Bar Fight is. It's where I go to John Rich's Bar down in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:40:20 I debate two libs. We have an audience that is lubricated, shall we say? It's great. It's very lively. You only get it on Daily Wire Plus. If you're not a member yet, you have to go right now. Right now. Dailywireplus.com and join.

Starting point is 00:41:13 That's one of the handful of very good Bruce Springsteen songs, real big hits. And all you have to do is you just change it. Not born in the USA. I'm not born. Okay. Our mailbag is sponsored by Pure Chalko. dot com slash knolls canada w a s you will get 50% off your first month take it away hello michael i'm
Starting point is 00:41:36 i'm talking about really fast because it's a really long story and i need to just have you hear this um me and my girlfriend broke up and it was a mistake and we need to get back together and it's really complicated and it's really messy but we both love each other still and she just needs time and peace to heal from everything and i think she just needs to take a step back she started talking to another guy after we broke up but after i came back into the picture she's now confused and she doesn't know what she wants. Please pray that God would close the door with her and that other guy and that God would restore her in my relationship and that ultimately God would heal her and heal me and be glorified through all of it. Thank you, Michael. Please pray. And everybody else listening, I would appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:42:15 I certainly can. I certainly can pray. Obviously, I don't know the circumstances of your situation. I'm just reminded of that great old song, a lot of wisdom in it. They say that breaking up is hard to do. oh so hard to do it is very hard don't say that this is the end instead of breaking up we should be making up again right you guys okay you had a little rocky relationship you broke up you feel bad about something that you did maybe
Starting point is 00:42:45 she's working it out so she's talking to some of the guy because you broke up okay and then you come back in the picture and now she maybe likes you again and you say I shouldn't have done this I shouldn't have done that Okay, many such cases, a tale as old as time. And you say, I want to pray about it. You should.
Starting point is 00:43:02 Prayer is the first resort, not the last resort. And everything in the entire cosmos is dependent on God and God's active involvement. That's absolutely true. And you are to cooperate with God's grace. All of which is prelude to say, you know, you say, I hope that God breaks these two people up. Yes. you can participate in that though. And so a little bit of my Rizzler advice here is,
Starting point is 00:43:33 look, if you're coming back in the picture and something's materially changed and you realize you made a mistake or whatever, you can be instrumental in that. But you've got to walk a very, very difficult balance. You've got to seem like a gigajad who is interested, intentional, tough guy, you know, all that. You've got to seem like a man.
Starting point is 00:43:56 confident, I want you, I need you, I love you, a lot of singing today. You got to have that, but you don't want to seem like a crazy ex-boyfriend. So you need to be far enough of wet, you need to have enough distance that she is enticed to return to you. Very difficult thing to walk. In the Ars Amatoria by Avid, the art of love, Avid is talking he talks about you know how to get over breakups how to you know you get rid of all the portraits you have of the girl and you you know you don't you behave in a way that you know creates that kind of distance so you have to do both of those things I know that those seem like they're at odds they're not necessarily it's that kind of I love you I want you I'll never be the same without
Starting point is 00:44:48 you I need to date you but if you don't look my way so be it maybe I'll go talk to to another girl too. It's that kind of, you've got to walk that tension. The most important thing, do the right thing, be moral, upright, pray, rely on God's grace, all those things. Most important thing. And then also, you know, be the kind of guy that the girl is going to be attracted to. You understand? It's like good advice for actors who want to go on auditions. Don't think about, Good advice for anybody who goes to get a job. Don't think about, hey, here's what I want out of this experience. Just think, hey, how can I help you? Hey, what do I, what can I do to be the kind of person that you are going to want to hire? That's how I would think about it. Okay, next question.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Good morning, Michael. This is Arun. So I was just at a local Republican Party event in my neighborhood the other day, and a woman expressed to me her concern that the unpopularity of the ice raids in Minneapolis could cost us in terms of statewide races, including our ability to potentially take the governorship back from the DFL. I am curious if you think that this is true, and if so, how should we politically act on this here in Minnesota? Thank you, as always for your wisdom. Good question. As always, Arun, a great deal of sophistication to your question. Because had you asked me, is this going to hurt Republicans in the midterms? Generally, I would say no. And my evidence is that the House Democrats are saying don't own Minnesota.
Starting point is 00:46:16 This is actually maybe some of you think it's good for us, it's bad for us. Get out of there. Don't own this. But you said statewide races. That's different. And I'm simply not expert enough at the political dynamics going on in Minnesota. But I could see it being the case that for a Minnesota Republican to win, you've got to play things a little differently than a national Republican.
Starting point is 00:46:38 So it might. It might hurt Republicans in statewide races in Minnesota. Now, again, Minnesota is the only state that voted against Reagan in 84. So Minnesota's had a lib problem for a long time. You can't blame that one on the Somalis. That one goes way back. It goes back to the Mondale days. So it might.
Starting point is 00:46:55 It might. And Republicans might not make pickups in Minnesota. They might. Who knows? Enough normy Minnesotans who are outside of the Twin Cities area might be so scandalized by what's going on by the leftist violence that they come out in bigger numbers. But otherwise, yeah, probably the more realistic thing to hope for is Republicans don't do as well in Minnesota. But they do better. They outperform expectations elsewhere around the country because of this.
Starting point is 00:47:23 Should we try to get? I never get to written mailback. I'm going to try to get to that today. At least one or two. I've got to bring in more written mailback. This is from Don E. Michael, I'm a Gen Z man trying to navigate this modern dating world. One fear I have stems from the comment section of a TikTok I saw.
Starting point is 00:47:39 saw in the video a girl said on her wedding day, if that one guy who didn't treat her right shows up and is ready to commit, she will leave and go with him. There were thousands of girls in the comments saying it was relatable. I am scared any girl I meet will have outstanding feelings for another man more so than their feelings for me. Should I only date a girl with no dating sexual history? Thank you for everything you do, Don. Maybe. I would probably make things easier for you, a little hard to do these days, just given modern dating dynamics and social and sexual mores. But yeah, I mean, that'd be good, I guess, but it's a little tricky. Really here, I think even beyond the sluttiness of it all, which is, that's what you're asking
Starting point is 00:48:21 about specifically. But it's really more, I think, about time. I think it's really more about time. When the girl, I haven't seen the TikTok, though, I've heard tell of this, this thing going viral of, you know, it's my wedding day. But if that one guy, the one who got away from all those years ago, if he showed back up and said he changed his way as I'd go with him in a minute, ah, you know, there's nothing, nothing like your first, I guess. And it shows another aspect of modern dating culture, which is we delay everything. So you get married a lot later. People have a lot more partners, not just sexual partners, but even just romantic partners generally. Things are more casual. And so you lose something of great value. You know me? I'm a very blessed
Starting point is 00:49:02 man. I married my high school sweetheart, sweet little Alisa. I've known sweet little Alisa since we were at least 11, maybe 10. We don't remember. It was that long ago. And there's something real nice about that. And modernity tells us that these longstanding bonds, in some cases, unchosen bonds, or bonds that come about from your happenstance,
Starting point is 00:49:29 that time, the tradition, that just that kind of growing together, that that's not really valuable. Really, you need to grow entirely on your own. and become an independent individual. And then when you're 38, you can meet someone who's also an individual. And then that'll be better than marrying your high school sweetheart. And maybe there are some advantages to that, but I don't see a lot.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Because as you grow, it's like your bones. When your bones are young, they're kind of nimble and they grow and they move and they change. And when they're old, they harden. They ossify. And so it's hard to bend together. Yeah, is you have to bend when you're in a relationship, when you're married. But you have to, yeah, you do have to bend when you're married, and that's kind of like, procreation and we don't need to get into that.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Like, you have to bend emotionally and personally. And it's harder to do that when you're a more hardened, ossified person. So I think the idea of this nostalgia, this longing for all, if only my high school or college boyfriend showed up on my wedding day, I'd go run to him or something. it's this longing for something that is lost and irretrievably lost in modern culture, which is I wish my spouse and I had real shared experience. You know, I wish we really, we came up together. I wish, you know, and that seems kind of gone.
Starting point is 00:50:53 So I wouldn't worry so much about the nitty-gritty particulars if your girlfriend, like dated a guy or something before. That's not so much yet. I think it's more the time, the experience. the growing together, I think. But I don't know, you got to make sure, though, you don't want a gal who's going to leave you at the altar. That's some of these, some women are really are fickle. So you don't, you don't want that. Okay, it's fake headline Friday. The rest of the show continues now. You don't want to miss it. Starting point is 00:52:16 I was offered the same. And? There is a new pirate work in the world. I've seen it. A god who sacrifices what he loves for us. We are each given only one life singer. No. We're given another.
Starting point is 00:52:34 I learned of Yazoo the Christ. And I have become his follower. He's waiting on a miracle. And I think you can give him one. Trust in Yezu.
