Gavin Newsom proves that he was never taught the meaning of basic words in a spat with Ted Cruz, and Democrats lay out the master plan to lie their way through the midterms. I'm Michael Knowles. It's the Michael Knowles show. Welcome back to the show. Do you remember when 300,000 migrant kids just went missing under Joe Biden? And no one really looked for them and no one could account for them.
Starting point is 00:01:45 and President Trump's administration, Tom Holman just announcing this, they've found 145,000 of the kids. So I've found about half the kids. We'll get, what happened to the kids? We'll get to that momentarily. First, on this Ash Wednesday, I want to tell you about Hallow. Go to hallow.com slash Knowles. We are here almost at Lent.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Beginning today, Ash Wednesday, our sponsor, Hallow is inviting you to take Lent seriously with Pray 40, the Return, a 40-day journey of daily prayer leading up to Easter, featuring Jonathan Rumi, Father Mike Schmidt, it's Sister Miriam James, Jeff Kavens, Mark Wahlberg, Chris Pratt, and others. Lent is the church's annual reminder that self-mastery matters. That virtue requires discipline, that becoming who God intends us to be means removing the things, habits, distractions, comforts that stand in the way.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Through prayer, fasting, and self-giving, we make room for God's mercy, grace, and love to do their work. At the center of Pray 40, the Return is one of the most profound stories ever told, The Parable of the Prodigal Son, a reminder that no matter how far someone falls, redemption remains possible. This year's challenge also draws inspiration from the brother's Karamazov, a serious meditation on belief and doubt, guilt and forgiveness and the moral responsibility to bear one another with grace. Throughout Lent, Jonathan Rumi and sister Miriam James will guide daily prayer and meditation.
Starting point is 00:02:59 Fridays include fasting challenges and Saturdays feature thoughtful faith conversations. Right now go to hallow.com. Take part in Hallow's Lent Challenge. Pray 40. The return is for you. Marty Gras over. Les Bon Tomp have relayed. It is now Ash Wednesday, a very important penitential season, as we await Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Starting point is 00:03:20 And to kick it off, Elon Musk just posted yesterday on Twitter on X, I agree with the teachings of Jesus. This was in response to one of these pseudonymous Twitter accounts. I don't know, I say, I'm a millennial. Sue me, sue me that I forget to say X. It was in response to one of these pseudonymous accounts that was evangelizing. and Elon responds, and he goes, I agree with the teachings of Jesus, which is great. And Elon should be encouraged in this, and we all really like Elon, and Elon is one of the most important figures in our political order, and he has done more to restore America and a
Starting point is 00:04:01 traditional conception of America and a conception of America that leaves a lot of room for religion than basically anybody else in the country. But now we've got to ask Elon a question. If Elon believes in the teachings of Jesus, what about that teaching of Jesus, which our Lord repeats, that He is God? What about that?
Starting point is 00:04:27 Because our Lord tells us, love your enemies. And our Lord tells us love the God, love the true God, love your God above all things. And our Lord tells us, let He who is without sin, cast the first stone. And our Lord teaches us a lot of things. Blessed or the poor in spirit, he teaches us a lot of these things. But the central teaching, the crucial fact, is that he is God.
Starting point is 00:04:52 And he teaches this repeatedly. He says before Abraham was, I am. He says, whoever has seen me has seen the father. The father and I are one. He says that he's God. So what does that teaching imply for our lives and our actions. This is a question not only for Elon, but for anyone who is attracted to the teachings of Christ. Because a lot of people, they just want to go a little bit, they want to go halfway, and they want to say, well, I think Christ is a great moral teacher. C.S. Lewis very famously mocks this notion because he can't just be a great moral teacher
Starting point is 00:05:30 because he claims he's God. So because he claims he's God, he's either God or he's a very bad moral teacher because he would be lying or he would be a crazy person, either of which would make him a pretty inept moral teacher. But if you say, well, I like his teachings, his teachings appeal to me, okay, well, one of the central teachings is he's God. So then what? You can't go halfway. This is another CS-Lews point. I think he was making the rounds yesterday. Maybe because Elon posted this.
Starting point is 00:06:01 But the point was, Christianity is either the crucial fact of the whole world. It is absolutely invaluable. It is essential or it's nothing. But it can't be just like kind of important. It can't be. It's all or nothing. It's like that Frank Sinatra song. All or nothing at all.
Starting point is 00:06:25 That's what it is. You're either in and Christ is Lord and God. and you do what he says, and you pray to him, and you avail yourself of the sacraments that he leaves to us, and you join into his mystical body, which is the church, or just ignore him, because you don't, you don't believe in anything. But you can't go halfway. So anyway, I'm not in any way admonishing Elon. I think this is awesome. This is a great way to kick off Lent when one of the most important men in the world is saying, I agree with the teachings of Jesus. But Elon's a smart guy. So then the question is, okay, well, do you, really? How do you agree with them? Do you agree with the central teaching?
Starting point is 00:07:05 Do you agree with the unignorable teaching? Then what? Then what does that mean? Speaking of teaching, my pal, Senator Ted Cruz, just gotten real hot water because of Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom is accusing Senator Cruz of ableism. He's accusing Senator Cruz of mocking a dislellan. He's accusing Senator Cruz of mocking a dislector. sick because of this statement that Senator Cruz made to Ben Ferguson on a show that I know a little bit about, verdict with Ted Cruz. Let's be very clear, Senator. That is Gavin Newsom comparing American law enforcement to Nazis. Yep, yep, which by the way, is what Obama was doing too. By the way, just like AOC and Whitmer, Newsom is apparently thoroughly historically illiterate. He said we've never seen National Guards federalized in the states. I guess his history book does not discuss the
Starting point is 00:08:02 civil rights movement. He's never heard of a president named Dwight D. Eisenhower. He's never heard of sending the National Guard into southern states when Democrats who refused to desegregate schools resisted. Eisenhower sent the National Guard in. The pattern is the same. In this instance, you have Democrats who are saying we refuse to comply with federal immigration law. Then you had in the fifties and 60s, you had Democrats saying we refused to comply with civil rights law. In both instances, it is lawless Democrats attacking law enforcement. You know, Gavin Newsom is proudly following the tradition of Bull Connor, another Democrat politician. Okay. So from that history lesson, Senator Cruz, obviously very intelligent, very well-educated guy,
Starting point is 00:08:51 from that little history lesson, Gavin Newsom, the Patrick Bateman of Kelly, California comes away and he says, Ted Cruz is calling a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low, even for him. Apparently Gavin Newsom's dyslexic. I didn't know that, but apparently he's dyslexic. That's not the central problem for Newsom, though, because Senator Cruz did not call Gavin Newsom illiterate. He called him historically illiterate, which means that Gavin Newsom doesn't know history. Gavin Newsom seems to think that Ted Cruz called him literally illiterate, which would mean that he can't read, which might be true. It might be true that Gavin Newsom can't read.
Starting point is 00:09:36 I haven't seen a lot of evidence that he can read, so maybe that's true as well, but that was news to us. In any case, what we now know for certain is that Gavin Newsom is semantically illiterate, meaning not only does he not read, he doesn't understand the meaning of words. He doesn't understand what the phrase historically illiterate means. and you don't you can be illiterate. You can be literally illiterate and still understand the meaning of historically illiterate as long as you're not semantically illiterate, which Gavin Newsom clearly is.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Very, very silly. However, I have to point out, this is a smart move for Newsom. I don't know whether or not Newsom's really dyslexic. However, it's a smart move for him to claim to be dyslexic in any case. Because he needs an excuse and he needs virtue points. He needs some kind of handicap. Gavin Newsom is a good-looking, smooth-talking, rich, white guy with a good-looking wife and a beautiful family. That's bad if you're a Democrat.
Starting point is 00:10:47 That's like five marks against you if you're a Democrat. That would have been good 25 years ago, but it's bad now. Gavin Newsom physically is everything the Democrat. say that they hate. So he needs some kind of handicap. I think this is why a lot of Zumer guys just decided they were gay. I think this is why you see LGBT identity skyrocketing. Zumer women did this as well. And there are very interesting studies on this. A lot of Zumer women would claim to be bisexual, even though they basically never had any romantic relationships with women. They would just say that in order to claim some kind of handicap, some kind of victim's
Starting point is 00:11:27 status at a time when that carried a lot of social currency on the left. So I think you're seeing the same thing here. I don't know if he's dyslexic or not, but even if he's not, it would make sense that he would claim that. He's not going to claim to be gay. He's got a very good looking wife. He's not going to claim to be, I don't know, black or something or Hispanic or, you know, that's not going to fly. He can't claim to be some minority religion. I don't know that he has any religion really at all, but he's not going to put on a he job or something. He's not I'm not going to put on the kaffia. So what can he claim? Okay, he claims he's got this intellectual disability, which gives him the victim points. And it also will provide an excuse because
Starting point is 00:12:06 I'm not saying Gavin Newsom's a total idiot. I don't think he is. But he ain't a road scholar. He's not the sharpest tool in this yet. And if J.D. Vance is the presumptive nominee for the Republicans, which he is, J.D. Vance is a very intelligent guy. So Newsom, I think, is already looking down the line. And he's saying, okay, I'm going to have to come. compete against J.D. Vance, who's probably two to four standard deviations and IQ above me, I need to set expectations low right now. In some ways, he's doing what J.D. Vance does. The fact that the vice president has embraced the silly J.D. meme that makes him into this, you know, like giant almost, I don't know, like a Saxon King-like figure, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:51 there's like big, long-haired kind of, you know, just tor. of force and irrationality. The JD, the JD is very, very funny. But part of the reason that I think it's smart that the vice president has embraced that is that it manages expectations. The JD meme is fat. J.D. Vance is relatively pretty thin. But the meme is fat. So then when you see him, he looks thinner. The JD meme, depending on which meme you're looking at, is short. JD is very tall. So you have this expectation that it'll be short when you see him in real life he's quite tall. Well, Gavin Newsom is kind of doing the same thing here with the dyslexic bit.
Starting point is 00:13:29 He's trying to set expectations low. Joe Biden actually managed this pretty well. And he's setting expectations low for a more practical reason than, say, the vice president, which is that Newsom doesn't really have it. He's all sizzle no stake, you know. Gavin Newsom, he kind of looks the part, and he's kind of a smooth talker. but there's not very much substance there at all. This is why he doesn't know what he believes.
Starting point is 00:13:57 It's why he has to keep swinging back and forth from, he's the radical leftist calling Stephen Miller a fascist, doing gay weddings in San Francisco 20 years ago. But then on the other hand, he's the moderate trying to be friends with Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon. He doesn't know what he wants. He doesn't know what he believes. He's going to moderate those expectations. It means he's still a pretty good candidate for the Dems as up now,
Starting point is 00:14:20 albeit one who is ill, illiterate in many, many ways. Okay, speaking of the Democrat strategy here, they have admitted what their strategy is in the midterms, and it's a pretty scary one. Republicans need to pay attention to it. We will get to that momentarily. First, I want to tell you about policy genius. Go to policygenius. com slash Knowles. Life happens gradually most of the time. You know, you look up one day, before you know it, you got a wife, and then maybe you got a little bit of kid, and then maybe you got a little bit of income. Maybe you've got some assets. Maybe you have a house.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Maybe all of those wonderful things happen. What are you going to do with it? How are you going to protect it? With everything that changes, you have got to make sure that your family is taking care of if something were to happen to you. Something's going to happen to all of us eventually. You've got to make sure that all your stuff is accounted for, especially for your family, if something were to happen to you. Well, that's where Policy Genius comes in. Policy Genius is an online marketplace where you can compare quotes from top and
Starting point is 00:15:19 insurers side by side totally free. No jumping around between websites, no endless phone calls. What stands out as their team works for you. They are licensed agents that help you figure out what you actually need, not just what some company wants to sell you. This is a great time to start planning. Plan the year knowing that you have protected what you have built. With PolicyGenius, you can see and find 20-year life insurance policies starting at just $276 a year for $1 million in coverage. Go to policygenius.com slash Knowles, K&WLAS, to compare life insurance quotes from top companies, see how much you can say. PolicyGenius.com slash Knowles? Abigail Spanberger. You know that name? A lot of people don't even, you know, this election just happened in Virginia.
Starting point is 00:15:59 A lot of people don't even pay attention to it. They should. Abigail Spanberger is the Democrat strategy for the midterms in 2028. Abigail Spanberger ran as a moderate for governor of Virginia. Now, five seconds later, she's coming out decrying President Trump's immigration policy as horrifying, and here's why. In what we've seen recently, the really, I think, horrifying thing is that now under the new administration or the Trump administration, where every cross into the United States is considered a criminal act. It's an amazing statement from a governor of any party who ran in any way.
Starting point is 00:16:41 She says, it is horrifying that under the Trump administration, any, any, any, illegal entry into the United States is considered a criminal act. That's that's not a specific policy of the Trump administration. That is a matter of federal law that was passed by the Congress that has been federal law for many decades now. It's there in the meaning of the word illegal. when an illegal alien does the thing that distinguishes him as an illegal alien, that is in fact illegal. Not just because President Trump says so because federal law says so. And so what she is admitting here when she says she is horrified by President Trump's actually applying the law, is she's saying she's horrified by the law.
Starting point is 00:17:36 She's saying that she is lawless. This is the moderate Democrat who won in Virginia. And the Democrats are schizophrenic on this point. Here's Hillary Clinton at the Munich Security Conference just a few days ago on stage, trotting out a line that you're going to hear from Democrats a lot. As the midterms approach, as people realize the Democrats are too extreme, they're going to be trotting out this line to try to make them seem moderate. And the line is that, you know, actually, Clinton and Obama deported just as many people, maybe more people as Donald Trump. More people were deported under my husband and Barack Obama without killing American citizens and without putting children into detention camps than were in the first Trump term or this first year of Trump's second term. So I think it's important to look.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Okay, more. Did you know, actually, actually, Obama. Obama and Clinton deported more people than Trump. Okay. That isn't true. And I love she says, and they didn't put them into camps and cages. Obama infamously built the cages that the left-wing media would later come to blame on President Trump, these supposed cages for detaining migrants and their children. But let me ask a more basic question.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Is it good to deport the illegals? is it good? Should we deport the illegal aliens? I asked this question to one of my debate opponents on bar fight. We have another bar fight shooting tonight. But I asked this on one of the last bar fights. I said, hey, he was trying to trot out these kind of lines. I said, hey, should we deport these guys? Should we deport the illegal aliens? And he wouldn't give a straight answer. I would love to ask Hillary Clinton that question. I would love to ask any Democrat who trots out this line, which you're going to hear ad nauseum as the midterms approach. You know, actually, believe it or not, Obama and Clinton deported more people than Trump. Oh, okay. So you're saying it's good to deport the illegals? Well, I never. Hold on, hold on. You're saying you're admiring Obama and Clinton.
Starting point is 00:19:51 You are attempting to attack Donald Trump on the grounds, not that he's deporting the illegals, but that he's not deporting enough. And that Clinton and Obama and the Democrats are actually even better at deporting illegals. than Trump, which isn't true, but let's just go with it for a second. So great, we have a rare area of bipartisan common ground. We should deport more illegals, right? It's good to deport the illegals, right? Well, well, well, I didn't really say. Oh, so what you're saying here is totally incoherent. This is contraceptive speech. It is speech that is not designed to convey any kind of truth, it is speech merely designed for pleasure and convenience. What you're saying is at one side of your mouth, when you're talking to the liberals, you're saying, we would never deport
Starting point is 00:20:40 these people. No human being is illegal. No one's illegal on stolen land. We need a pathway to citizenship. They're all dreamers. They're not even illegal. They're actually Americans, albeit undocumented Americans, and we need to get them documents. And then out of the other side of your mouth, when you're talking to the normal people, not the radical open borders leftists, but just like any normal person in the center, center left, on the right, obviously. You're saying, actually, we're even better at deporting people. So which is it? Is deporting people good or not? I'll be more specific. Is deporting the illegal aliens good or bad? Anytime any Democrat trots out this ridiculous campaign line, you don't even need to challenge them on the premise. The premise is wrong to,
Starting point is 00:21:25 but you don't even have to challenge them on the premise. Just ask them what the implications. is. Okay, so you're saying it's good? We should deport more illegals? Well, well, well, I never said, okay, all right, never mind then. The problem that these people have is that Americans understand the Democrats are too extreme. You don't have to take my word for it. CNN has admitted this. The percentage of Americans who say that the Democrats are too extreme has surged. Democratic base, right? But what about all Americans, right? How about all voters?
Starting point is 00:22:02 Voters who say the Democrats are now too liberal. Look at this percentage. It's 42% in 96, 48% in 2013. Now 58% in 2025 of all voters say that the Democratic Party is too liberal. The Democrats are moving to the left. The far left is gaining power. And there could be some electoral repercussions because what we see right now is voters,
Starting point is 00:22:23 the clear majority, say that they are. to liberal. This is really interesting. Thanks so much, Harry. Thank you. Really appreciate it. That's not a CNN bowl, by the way. I mean, even if it were a CNN poll, that would be enough. But it's CNN reporting on a Washington Post poll. So it's the left-wing cable channel citing the left-wing newspaper pointing out that, yes, the Democrats were perceived as moving a little too far to the left from the 90s through the 20-teens. But it was basically stable. And then over the last dozen years, the percentage of Americans who think the Dems are too liberal has exploded.
Starting point is 00:23:00 So what are the Democrats going to do? They can do one of two things. They can either moderate their policies on the border. They used to say we need to deport the illegal aliens. We need strong borders. That was Bill Clinton's line. That's even kind of what Obama ran on. They could either go back to that instead of what they are now, which is open borders,
Starting point is 00:23:21 abolish the police, trans the kids, kill all the babies. They could moderate or they could lie. They could run on one set of policies, run with one kind of rhetoric, and then the minute they get into office, do a 180 about face. Guess what they're going to do? Actually, a presidential contender, Andy Bashir, governor of Kentucky, gives us the answer. We'll get to that momentarily. First, though, I want to tell you about Pure Talk. Go to PeartTalk.com slash Knowles, KNAWLAS. Do you know what holiday our sponsor Pure Talk celebrates this month? Presidents Day because Pure Talk believes that wireless should only cost you a couple of presidents. Specifically, a Jackson and a Lincoln, that's pretty good because if it were two, I don't know, two Franklin's, that's a little tougher. A Jackson and a Lincoln, that's 25 bucks a month for unlimited talk, text, and plenty of data.
Starting point is 00:24:14 President's Day may have passed, but the discounts you can get on your wireless plan have not. think about this. It's a cost of one or two meals out versus the hundreds that big wireless charges families every month. There is no reason wireless service needs to be that expensive. What makes Peer Talk different goes beyond just price. They are an American wireless company that actively supports veterans and invests in a U.S.-based customer service team. So when you call them, you will understand what they're saying. I've had my Pure Talk phone now for years. It is absolutely great. You will be getting superior 5G coverage because Pure Talk uses the same towers as the big carriers.
Starting point is 00:24:49 You will only be paying $25 a month for talk text and plenty of data. No contract, no cancellation fee. What are you waiting for? Go to Peartotalk.com slash Knowles, Kennaw, LAS. You get 50% off your first month. Peartotalk.com slash Knowles. Make the switch to Pure Talk. Folks, as I just mentioned, tonight we're filming two episodes of Barfight.
Starting point is 00:25:05 I will face off against two esteemed combatants on topics of the day. You want to get in on the action, watch in person at John Rich's Redneck Riviera in Nashville. You must RASVP using the link in the description. It's right there. It's right there, and I hope to see you there tonight. Are the Democrats going to moderate their policies, or are they just going to lie to get them through the elections? Here's what Andy Beshear of Kentucky has to say. How do you respond to a Democratic voter who might say, I like you, I like your track record in a red state or red Commonwealth, but you're too soft-spoken?
Starting point is 00:25:38 Well, first, yes, that message is working. Look at Abigail Spanberger and Mikey Sherrill, who ran great campaigns in races that should have been structurally. difficult. And they both won by double digits. You know, the DGA and our candidates are winning everywhere. For me, I believe that the American people want stability, that Donald Trump is exhausting. Many Americans feel like the pendulum swung too far during the Biden administration, and it swung way too far during the Trump administration. And what they want is in America where they can wake up every morning and not be worried about its future. America wants stability. In other words, moderation. The pendulum swung not too far only the,
Starting point is 00:26:22 too far not only under the Trump administration, but he says probably the pendulum swung a little too far under the Biden administration. The left went a little too far left. In other words, we need moderation. We need moderation, moderation, moderation. Who do we look to? We look to Abigail Spanberger in Virginia. And what did Spanberger do? She ran as a moderate, and then, we don't need to speculate on what she will do. We now know what she did the minute she got into office, the minute she got into office,
Starting point is 00:26:52 she pulled ice cooperation from her state, from her Commonwealth. The minute she gets into office, she says, yeah, Virginia is no longer going to cooperate with the federal immigration enforcement. The minute she gets into office, she says, yeah, we're going to get rid of mandatory minimums for certain heinous crimes.
Starting point is 00:27:11 We're going to reduce those minimums for the violent crimes. The minute she gets into office, she backs a constitutional right to late-term abortion, not even first trimester abortion, which is evil in itself. But third term, like sucking your thumb, mama-de-da, looks as much like a baby as any baby kind of abortion, we're going to slaughter all those kids. And we're going to make it a right in the Constitution. Second, she gets into office, she starts supporting voting rights for felons, doubles down,
Starting point is 00:27:41 triples down on the radical LGBT stuff. Abigail Spanberger in office is as left as any left-wing politician in the country. The only thing that distinguishes her, the only reason
Starting point is 00:27:54 Andy Bashir points at her, is because she lied and ran as a moderate. And that's what they're going to do in the midterms. And so it's up to us, conservatives, normal people,
Starting point is 00:28:04 centrists, Republicans, it's up to us to expose that lie, to really push them. For example, when they say, you know, actually, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton deported more people than Donald Trump. Say, oh, so you're saying deportations are good. You want to deport more people? Well, well, well, well, I never. Oh, got it. Okay. The artifice, the contrivance that the Democrats are trying to put forward is that we're all just kind of moderate.
Starting point is 00:28:32 We sound like Andy Bashir and Abigail Spanberger on the campaign trail. The reality of the Democrat Party today, pretty much top to bottom, is a little closer to Peggy Flanagan, lieutenant governor of Minnesota, who I'm sorry, that's her English name. That's her slave name. Here is Peggy Flanagan's tribal name. My Ojibwe name is Gigi Webita Moquay, which means speaks in a loud and clear voice woman. And I am so grateful. for my community. And, you know, I am a member of the White Earth Nation, which is the largest tribe in Minnesota. So got to hand it to the O'Gibwees. I doff my cap to you, O'G. Bees, the fact that this crazy white lady came to you at some point, this lunatic who was implicated in the anti-ice insurrection, obstructing law enforcement in the little signal chats, in the group chats in Minnesota, This lunatic white woman comes to you at some point.
Starting point is 00:29:39 She says, how, fellow Indians? How do you do? Can you please give me a tribal name? And then the tribe goes to her, they're looking around in between hands of blackjack. They're looking at each other. They say, yes, yes, brave sister, your tribal name will be shouting crazy lady. Yes, that will be. Oh, wow, thank you so much, Chief Texas Hold'em or whatever.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Thank you. that's so, yes, that is your, that is your, the great spirit, great mother's spirit of the Minnesota casino and resort hotel has told me that your tribal name is shrieking lunatic Karen. It's actually, you know, it's just Karen actually is your tribal name. So speaketh the great spirit. Thank you. Thank you so much, chief. That's great. Good on them. hilarious that she bought that one, hook, line, and sinker. Also, just to point on that little clip, you need to show that clip to your grandma. Not just your grandma, but you're, like, let's say you have a grandma who's a Democrat or a liberal. You know, she was liberal for her age.
Starting point is 00:30:47 And she still thinks of herself as a liberal or a Democrat. I think there are a lot of people like this. Maybe for some of you, it's your parents. You need to show that clip because they don't believe that this is happening. And they don't believe it because the establishment media don't. show this stuff and the establishment newspapers don't write about this stuff. They would be shocked to find out that the lieutenant governor of Minnesota calls herself hoojee-hagi, hooki, hooki, shouting woman because she's a member of the white pride nation of the Indians in Minnesota or whatever.
Starting point is 00:31:23 They would be shocked to find out that the lieutenant governor of Minnesota is helping to coordinate anti-ice insurrection, the obstruction of federal law enforcement. They would be shocked to find out that mainstream Democrats, that the leading presidential contender in 2028, is calling for more trans kids, says he wants to see more trans kids. They don't believe that. They would be shocked to find out that the governor of Virginia, the Democrat, wants to slaughter babies five seconds before birth and is actively calling for a constitutional right to that. They wouldn't believe that. You got to show that to them. Because the Democrats' chief strategy heading into 26 and then into 28 is going to be to hide all of it.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Okay, I have much more to talk about. But I'm going to stop talking briefly because I have a guest who is going to tell you a lot about how big tech is rigging the elections going into 2026. Have you checked out the Rotten Tomato reviews for the Pendragon cycle Rise of the Merlin? So it's amazing. You would think this thing would be panned and pilloried, especially by the libs. No, no, no. The overall series has an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is very, very good. But something crazy happens. When you look episode by episode, the scores just keep going up. Now episode six is out. It is huge. I have heard it for years now described as the best episode of the series. It's excellent. You can get it on the DailyWire Plus app. You have to become a DailyWire

My favorite comment yesterday is from Nancy Swaz, who says, aliens are real, but they didn't come from space. That's true. They came from Venezuela. They came from Somalia. They do not come from Planet Zebulon 5. anyone telling you that they do is quite suspect.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Now, one of the people who has probably the keenest insight into the way that technology, big tech, has contorted and perverted our political order, is a previous guest on Michael and. That is Dr. Robert Epstein, who is a Harvard-trained research psychologist. We'll forgive him for that. You know, nobody's perfect. He's also the former editor-in-chief of psychology today. He has uncovered a lot of very serious biases in Big Tech, Google in particular.
Starting point is 00:34:25 I'm sure he's on about 100 Google hit lists. I'm just imagining that. I'm not making any accusations, but this guy is a real thorn in the side of Big Tech. And a lot of us have chilled out about Big Tech because President Trump won with the popular vote. And so we all say, okay, no big deal. You know, they're playing ball now. They come groveling to the Oval Office. They give gifts to the president.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Okay, good. We don't need to worry. Some of our numbers, after the Daily Wire was almost destroyed, actually, by Facebook some years ago. But our numbers have rebounded. They kind of, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:53 took their boot off the neck of conservatives on social media. So we're all good, right? No, not quite. Turns out our old enemies are back and tougher than ever. Dr. Epstein. Thank you for coming on the show.
Starting point is 00:35:07 It's my pleasure, Michael. Nice to see you again. Wonderful to see you. I have not. heard, you and I were texting about some of the stuff that big tech is doing. And I thought, look, I'm not the most up to date, you know, on the happenings in big tech. But I do follow political news very, very closely. And I have not heard a peep about this looking ahead to the midterms. What is going on on Google, on YouTube? How is the political order shifting?
Starting point is 00:35:38 I wrote about this a few weeks ago in the Daily Caller. You're right. No one is paying attention. understands what's going on. But Google and some of the other tech companies did actually back off, just as you said, they really did back off in 2024. We know because we monitor big tech content going to registered voters in all 50 states through the computers of a politically balanced, to emphasize that a politically balanced group with more than 17,000 voters. We're monitoring 24 hours a day.
Starting point is 00:36:12 we see the actual content that these companies are showing people. They really did back off in 2024. Turns out they had a plan and you've nailed it. What they've done is they have sucked up to Donald Trump knowing that how vulnerable he is to flattery. And they threw money at him and compliments and they just went all out. And frankly, they backed off. much that they, the normal manipulations that would have been doing, they backed off.
Starting point is 00:36:47 So they had a plan here. Now, here's how it's actually working out. Donald Trump and the administration has backed off. They had been going very, very aggressively against Big Tech, and they backed off. The Department of Justice, gone. In other words, Google has absolute total power at this point, which is what they were aiming for, apparently. So the idea would be.
Starting point is 00:37:12 that when Big Tech started this flattery campaign, Big Tech says we're going to put our weapons down. And we're going to help you guys. Yeah, okay, mea culpa, maya culpa, mea maxima colpa. We're going to put our weapons down. And the Trump administration, please, how about you guys put your weapons down? We'll all be friends now.
Starting point is 00:37:31 So everyone puts their weapons down until what? Well, it turns out that right after the election, our numbers started to change. and I just to give you the latest numbers because they're so shocking to me that I can barely believe them, but they're real. They're coming again from the actual computers of more than 17,000 registered voters in all 50 states, politically balanced. On Google, liberal bias since that 2024 election has increased by more than 275%, which means they're also suppressing conservative content. Now, I'm not a conservative, so, you know, go Google.
Starting point is 00:38:19 On YouTube, which is owned by Google, liberal bias in those recommendations that they make, telling you what to watch next, has increased by over 450% since the election in 2024. In other words, now that we've got these people off our backs, we can do anything we want. and what they are doing is going to a tremendous extreme to make sure that they can guarantee certain outcomes in the midterm elections, which we are monitoring now very aggressively. We're actually expanding our system.
Starting point is 00:38:54 We're looking at swing congressional districts, swing states, and that's where the action is. And we're keeping a very, very close eye. And you know what? The big tech companies don't care because they got the feds, off their back. False flag operation worked beautifully. You know, I've noticed this anecdotally. I've been doing the show for many years at this point, and actually a number of shows on different
Starting point is 00:39:22 networks. So I have just anecdotally, I have a pretty good little sample size here of how the algorithms work. And sometimes, you know, you get a big boost in views and you say, it's because I did a really great show. Sometimes you get a little dip in views. You say, ah, you know, that I blame my producers. I never take responsibility myself, but I say, you know, look, maybe that wasn't the best show. But often there are these seasonal changes and you say, well, that's actually not attributable to any of the content we're putting out or even organic social trends. This is Facebook trying to kill my company. This is YouTube trying to nuke our channels or something like that. And this was going on years ago. And I have noticed, anecdotally, in recent months, there is a, a,
Starting point is 00:40:07 just a general kind of trend downward for conservative, especially pro-Trump media. And the voices that are on the rise, you get some of the left-wing voices. And then the ones on the rise on the right that are getting a lot of attention that are being thrown into the alga are the ostensibly right-wing voices that just conveniently oppose the Republican Party, oppose Trump, you know, are trying to depress, turn out. And I thought, well, that's very interesting. Probably some of those voices don't even know that that's happening or the usefulity of it. in the way you had in the Cold War with the Russians. But in any case, I've seen this trend long enough and wide enough that when you bring some actual data here, I say, oh, I wasn't going crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:51 There is a method here. So how does it end? Well, I can tell you, they're certainly going to turn the House of Representatives. But they're going after the Senate, too. and the problem is that people have they're this false flag
Starting point is 00:41:10 operation of theirs was so successful and they control messaging remember they control messaging they control most of what what of the content that people get sent to online they determine that they also have complete control over what goes viral and what doesn't so what they have done now
Starting point is 00:41:28 is worked out a perfect system wherein it appears that they're okay we don't have to worry about them, when in fact, that what they're actually doing is getting more aggressive than they have ever been before. And because we have the only monitoring system in this country, in fact, in the world, we're the first organization to have built such a system. We can see what they're actually doing because we're getting the actual content coming onto the screens of registered voters and children, too. And what's happening is outrageous.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Now, in 2024, just put this in perspective, they were being sued by the Department of Justice under antitrust law. And they were declared in August of 2024 to be a monopoly. And the normal remedy there is to break up the company. And everyone thought that the courts, the federal court, was going to break Google up. until just a few months ago when the final remedy, a verdict was handed down, the court did nothing. They did nothing.
Starting point is 00:42:42 That's never happened before in a major antitrust case. The court just did nothing. And immediately, the CEO of Google flew to Washington to thank Donald Trump personally. Donald Trump acknowledged the thanks, said, you guys are great. We love you. and that's where things stand now. No one is paying attention.
Starting point is 00:43:04 They've got the attention off of them and their shenanigans. But we're collecting the data. We're working with members of Congress. We're working with AGs around the country. We're trying to keep some people, such as yourself, informed. But so far, we're not generating the interest that this topic deserves. This is serious. This is a private company.
Starting point is 00:43:29 deciding who's going to run our country. And they can shift up to 15 million votes without anyone knowing what they're doing, except, of course, we are capturing the data that we're capturing. Well, this is key because we're looking ahead at the midterms, so we're what? Now, nine months out from the midterms, a little less. And it's time. You can run a campaign in that time. You can get some stuff done, but time is short.
Starting point is 00:43:54 You say that this can shift 15 million votes. I think a lot of people hear, oh, yeah, right, there's more bias on YouTube. Oh, what else is new? But you're saying, no, no, this has tangible effects on the political order, and we can quantify those. 15 million votes in a midterm election year that was already going to be tough could be catastrophic. Well, you can call it what you like. It's disturbing, period. Some people will like it, actually.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Yeah, of course. Some people will like it, but it's very disturbing because. We don't want a private company in a way that you can't even see in a way that's largely invisible. You don't want them running our country, and they have the power to do that. Now, internally, by the way, they know this, and we've learned this over and over again from whistleblowers from the company, from leaks from the company. We know that they know that they have this power, and they are exercising it now to an extreme degree, except because of this false flag operation, because of this veneer that they've painted,
Starting point is 00:45:02 no one at this point is paying attention. In fact, before the 2024 election, I used to get two or three invitations every day to be on podcasts and TV shows. I think you're the first person who's invited me on maybe in the past year. Because everyone is writing eye. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Right. This is what really disturbed. When you texted me these latest numbers, I thought, wow, okay, you know, 275% increase in liberal bias on Google, search 450% increase on YouTube. This is not just a little bit, you know, putting your thumb on the scale. This is big, and it's increasing. This could be an existential problem if you care about which party wins the midterms. And even if you just care about the structure of our government, you know, this would disturb, I think, an honest liberal with integrity. I said, wow, that's pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:45:54 but I agree there was a lot of riding high. I think obviously because Silicon Valley is responsible for propping up the stock market right now, there's a real desire, there's a kind of hope that maybe Silicon Valley can play along and we can get along with them because there are a lot of economic benefits. But this could be brutal and the current happy sunny state of things could radically shift come November brought about by Big Tech itself. Dr. Epstein, I have to leave it there. Where can people follow you?
Starting point is 00:46:21 America's with an S, that's America's DigitalShield.com. You can see the data as the data are coming in and you can see the bias and we've never seen anything like it before. America's DigitalShield.com. I hope people see the data. And then more importantly, I hope that people in positions of authority can do something about it. Dr. Repstein, thank you for being here.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Folks, wonderful to be with all of you, even you Hoy-Polloy on YouTube right now. However, I need you all to come over. to Daily Wire right now because it is work from home Wednesday. You know I hate working from home and I think it's mostly fake. However, there's one kind of work from home I really like, which is the homework assignment that I give you for Wednesday. This is the real creme de la creme separates men from the boys. We're going to be going through G.K. Chesterton's poem, Lopanto,
Starting point is 00:47:11 about Christians slaying Turks in the waters. So the rest of the show continues. Now you don't want to miss it. Become a member use code Noles Canada, W.A. So check out for two months free on all annual plans. What was it like, Merlin, to be alone with God? Is that who you think I was alone with? I knew your father.
Starting point is 00:47:52 I am yet convinced that he was not of this world. All men know of the great Taliesin. Who am I, father? That the gods should war for my soul. Princess Garris, savior of our people. I know what the bull god offered you. I was offered the same. And?
Starting point is 00:48:16 There is a new pirate work in the world. I've seen it. A god who sacrifices what he loves for us. We are each given only one life singer. No. We're given another. I learned of Yazoo the Christ. And I have become his follower. He's waiting on a miracle.
Starting point is 00:48:36 And I think you can give him one. Trust in Jesus. He is the only hope for men like us. Fate of Britain never rests in the hands of the great life. Great light. Great darkness. Such things mattered to me then. What matters to you now, mistress of lies? You, nephew. The sword of the high king.
Starting point is 00:49:02 How many lives must be lost before you accept the power? You were born to wield. Circling into the promises of a God who has abandoned you. I cannot take up their sword again. You know what you must do. Great life, forgive me. The time has come. to be reborn.
