Petty street crimes and theft are a biological need. We should not prosecute them. This is the argument coming from the left. And the right doesn't have a really good response to this.

I don't know if you all were paying very close attention to it. It was really important, though, because it tells us the direction that the midterms are looking, and it tells us about the direction of the respective political parties. So I won't get to all the races, but I'll get to a handful of them that are illustrative.

Probably the biggest race was the primary for Governor of Florida. You had my pal Byron Donald's running down there. Byron Donald's, a very Trump loyal MAGA, a member of Congress, pretty prominent member of Congress. He was running to succeed Ron DeSantis, and he faced a few challengers. One was Jay Collins, who was pretty serious candidate, but didn't have the poll numbers to overcome Byron. And then there was the meme candidate who was the favorite of a lot of people on the internet, and he was very eccentric. He was very good at media. That was James Fishback.

And when I was at the University of Idaho at a TPSA event with Matt Walsh, we were both hanging out on stage. And someone asked us about this race. He said, Michael, you guys, I forget the exact wording of the question, but something to the effect of you guys are missing the big trend in the Republican Party, which is that candidates like James Fishback are really rising up. James Fishback, who ran this campaign that was pretty overtly racialized, little bit anti-Semitic. It was basically just Twitter, but as a gubernatorial campaign. He called Byron Byron, because it sounded more black or something. I mean, it was all just kind of memes and trollery and provocation. And so anyway, this kid at the University of Idaho said, you guys are missing this big trend in the Republican Party.

And I said, I don't think we are. I think actually by bringing up the Fishback campaign, you're underscoring our point that the Republican Party is actually in pretty solid shape and the coalition is pretty strong. Because Fishback at that point was polling it, I don't know, a few percent, five percent or something. So the results finally come in as many of the. the internet eccentrics, we're expecting a big upset from James Fishback. What's the final score? Final score in a pretty crowded primary was Byron getting about 48%, so almost half the votes. Jay Collins mounts a serious enough challenge, but nowhere near enough to really matter. He got one in four voters. And then James Fishback was a little north of 10%. And then yet a few other guys, eight and a half percent, four percent, one point six percent.

So Byron just totally blew everybody out of the water, including James Fishback, who was a lot of was running as the kind of internet, groiper, alt-right sort of candidate. Okay. There's another race that involved a kind of internety, right-wing, fringe candidate, and that was this guy, Dan Bilzerian, about whom, I must confess, I know basically nothing. But he was running as this real, you know, running very racial, anti-Semitic, like those kind of, those kind of policies. He was running against Randy Fine, who is ardent.

pro-Israel. He's also, you know, very allied with MAGA and, you know, solid conservative Republican in Congress. But Randy Fine really irritates the super online types, and Dan Bolzerian excites some of them, I guess. In any case, Randy Fine totally blew Belzerian out of the water. Randy Fine got 54.8%. Dan Bilzerian got 18%. There was another candidate there. Aaron Baker got 14.5%. So the big insurgency, populist, radical, reactionary campaigns, they didn't do a lot. It's not that they got nothing. You know, one got 10%, one got 18%, but they didn't even come close. And these were decently funded campaigns.

Fishback raised $2 million in that race. So he was vastly outspent, but he still did raise $2 million. Okay, that's the right. You had the kind of wacky insurgency off-year, only really. You know, highly motivated voters actually turn up to the polls. And in that, the MAGA coalition totally dominates. The more extreme, fringe, blown out of the water. What happened on the left?

Well, there was another race. This is very illustrative. This is the socialist Angie Nixon running for Senate against Alexander Vindman. Do you remember Vindman? I don't even, I'm not even going to play the clip of Vindman. Vindman. Lieutenant Colonel! Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman.

He was this guy who started off one of the Trump impeachment proceedings. because he whined and complained that he didn't like Trump's phone call with Ukraine. And so he made himself into a big spectacle. He testifies on Capitol Hill. And one of the Republicans says, okay, Mr. Vindman, such and such. He said, I'm not, I'm a lieutenant colonel. The guy was really, really annoying. But he was the establishment Democrat candidate in this race against a radical socialist, Angie Nixon. And what happened? Nixon trounced him. An 11-point race, over 11 points, 55.75. percent to 44.25 percent Nixon. This was a big upset. Totally trance the establishment Democrat Vindman who had military service, who had service at the highest levels of government. And this

wacko Nixon who, if you've heard of her at all, it was because of this stunt she pulled in the state legislature when she just shows up as her colleagues are trying to deliberate in vote. She shows up with a bullhorn and it basically has to be dragged out of there. Okay, that's it. That woman could become a United States Senator. And this is the big takeaway for me from the Tuesday night primaries. It highlights the big difference between the right and the left. The big difference between the right and the left is not that one side has fringe radicals and the other one doesn't. It's politics. There are always some fringy people. They're always provocateurs. There are always people who say nasty things, who believe radical ideas. That's always true of all sides. The big difference between

the right and the left is the fringe, wacky, provocateur radical candidates on the right barely get any votes. And the fringe, raky, radical candidates on the left win the nomination. That's the difference. That's the big difference. Yeah, there's all sorts of nasty chatter on the right on Twitter, just like there's all sorts of nasty chatter on the left on Twitter. The differences, the American right is an orderly political coalition that suppresses the kind of wacky, extreme fringe stuff. And the American left is entirely beholden to its insane radical fringe. That's the takeaway. That's the big takeaway. Which is why, I know that there are people on the right who want to spend all their time harping on the various ideological differences and the different factions

and they want to become very, very insular and only talk about the right. I think that's a bad strategy. that is not prudent, I think that is not called for. I think it is navel gazing. I think it's a waste of time. Not because we shouldn't police our own, not because we shouldn't be introspective or whatever, but because all that fringe kind of wacky ideological stuff on the right doesn't really show up in the real political order. It doesn't show up in the polls. The disconnect between X and voters on the right is massive. whereas on the left, there is no disconnect whatsoever between the most lunatic leftist on social media and the median Democrat voter. That's the difference. And so the real threat to our political order does not come from the right.

It's not that it couldn't come from the right. I guess it could, in theory, but it doesn't. It comes from the left. The Democratic Socialists of America are more popular with rank and file Democrat voters than the Democrats on Capitol Hill are. And those Democratic Socialists of America are going to replace those Democrats on Capitol Hill. And frankly, when you drill down into their policies, there's not even all that much difference. The median Republican voter has never heard of Dan Billsarian and never will and doesn't care. It doesn't matter. It's fine. The knock I will make of the right is that the right is more interested in media clicks. Look, I say this is a podcaster. I am someone who speaks for a living. I'm I write books for a living. I comment on politics and the underlying philosophy and religious and cultural parts of it. And so I get it. I'm part of that on the right. I like to think I distinguish myself in that I care about what's actually going on in the real political order. I actually want to rack up real wins in the political order. I don't just want to do it sensationalism. I don't want to do clicks. I don't want to do conspiracy theories. I don't want to do all that kind of

stuff. But you see, all of that is all over the political order. The only difference. is that the right is still doing a real political project that is mainstream, that is sensible that we can get behind. And the left has totally given themselves over to the radicals. Keep that in mind in November. Keep the stakes in mind in November. Now, there was one very unfortunate incident. This relates to the Senate race in South Carolina. Obviously, Lindsay Graham died unexpectedly. His sister, Darlene was appointed to fill out the rest of his term. But Lindsey Graham is up for re-election, was re-election. So his sister, Darlene, is now running to serve a full term in the Senate. She just had a primary debate, and it did not go well. It did not go well. And there had been a big debate.

Should Lindsay Graham's sister take a Senate seat? Should she not take a Senate seat? And I think actually there's a third answer to that, which was on full display last night. darling graham in a senate race against ralph norman ralph norman very solid conservative very good conservative rankings up toward 100% from all the groups that put out those you know who is the most conservative legislator who is the most conservative politician. So he's got a pretty solid right-wing bona fides. And he's in this debate against Darlene Graham. They're asked a question about foreign policy. Here is Darlene Graham's response. On the national security question as well, Senator, are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States? If so, why? I'm sorry, could you repeat the question? Are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States? If so, why? I'm sorry, could you repeat the question?

Are Taiwan and the South China seat national security issues for the United States? And if so, why or how? I'm just going to be honest here. I'm not on national security. I'm not that informed on national security. But I do support the military. Okay. Darlene Graham seems like a real nice lady.

And I supported President Trump's push to have her fill the rest of Lindsey Graham's term. Actually, that's perfectly fine. This happens sometimes when senators die, their wife fills out the rest of their term as the person closest to them who is most likely to, you know, carry out their wishes for the rest of the term to which they were elected. Lindsay Graham was not married. He was closest to his sister who he helped raise. So I was cool with that. I think that's fine. As long as she's a reliable Republican voice in the Senate and she backs the Republican Party's agenda, I'm cool with that. I don't think that we need to run some campaign for the remaining months of Lindsey Graham's term.

Running for a new term, that's a different issue. A six-year term, I think we want to make sure that we have a real, strong, conservative, Republican, informed senator. You know, the Senate, I know that Capitol Hill has outsourced a lot of its responsibilities, but the Senate is supposed to be the greatest deliberative body in the world, and they're supposed to be pretty informed, and they're supposed to be, in the initial structure of the Senate, they were supposed to not be, hold into the pathos of the people. They were supposed to be appointed by the states. So it was

actually supposed to be a check on the power of pure democracy. After the 17th Amendment, that changed, and senators were popularly elected. But they were still supposed to be a little bit more removed from all the, all the, the, uh, the appetitive parts of the government that you get in the House of Representatives. I think it was LBJ who said the difference between the House and the Senate, or sorry, the difference between the Senate and the House is the difference between chicken salad and chicken, S-H-I-T. And so that's how it's supposed to be. be. And it does not appear that Darlene Graham has the requisite knowledge and formation to fulfill that role, especially when you got a good candidate like Ralph Norman here, they're running

to figure out who's going to go out to a runoff. That's too much. And so in this debate between should Darlene succeed her brother in the Senate or should she not succeed her brother in the Senate, there's actually, I think, a pretty clear third answer, which is it was perfectly appropriate for her to fill out the rest of her brother's term, especially if she's a reliable Republican voice. But probably, if you're going to have a new term, you know, the Senate is not supposed to pass as a matter of hereditary inheritance. We don't generally do that in America, but even if you supported a monarchy of some sort, the Senate is not the place for that, probably we want someone who is more fit to be a senator, right? Isn't that the reason? Isn't that the

reasonable middle ground here. It's okay for her to fill out the rest of the term, but if you're going to run for a brand new term, maybe we need a new guy. There's something refreshing about her answer, which is, you know, I really don't know about all that foreign policy stuff, but I just want to make people's lives better and I support the military. There is something refreshing. She's not a politician in some ways I kind of like that because the political classes become so decayed, but it's too much. I don't think you can become a senator if you say, I don't really know about these major geopolitical issues. I think that admission. is basically disqualifying, and maybe Republicans should consider a, no offense to Darlene Graham,

but maybe Republicans should consider someone who is acquainted with the issues, because the Senate is a big job. And at least it should be. And you should have people there who have the requisite experience and knowledge to actually do the job. Okay. Now, speaking of the stakes, which is something I'm constantly trying to bring Republicans and conservatives attention to. Because, you know, it's Mike Johnson, and has the worst job in all of politics, because he has to wrangle those Republicans on Capitol Hill and getting Republicans together on Capitol Hill or anywhere else, it's like hurting cats,

especially in the political class, especially in the pundit class, especially in the activist class. It's like herding cats. These guys are always just trying to settle scores with each other. But there is a real threat. This should have been the lesson when a leftist dating a tranny

murdered our friend Charlie Kirk. This should have been the lesson after the many, the repeated assassination attempts against President Trump, one of which blew off part of his ear. The lesson is, this should have been the lesson after the leftists were attacking various conservative speaking events on colleges for the last decade, including one of my own at the University of Pittsburgh

when two Antifa operatives set off an explosive. And that's not an exceptional case. That's happened a lot. The focus, it's not that we don't want to figure out what we believe and who the best candidates are. We got to do all that. But we got to keep our eyes on the price. We have to have a 30,000 foot view, which is that the left is nominating their most radical candidates who want to destroy the Constitution, their own words. We'll get to that in a second. And who want to kill us, who like try to kill us a lot of the time. And then a huge portion of

whom the whole Democrat Party justifies killing us, normal Republicans. This happened again. another tranny tried to murder yet another top Republican. This was 25-year-old Ryan Michael English. He thinks he's a woman, so he calls himself Riley or Raleigh, Jane, whatever. He's from Massachusetts. He just pled guilty to weapons charges stemming from a plot to assassinate Scott Besson, the Treasury Secretary. One of the top guys in the administration, Scott Besson, absolute killer, you know, doing a lot of good for the country. most people didn't hear about this. He pled guilty to this back in March. The story was both suppressed by the media, and it's not really newsy because we know that the left wants to kill us. In any case, we know that the transvestite community is particularly violent. So yesterday, a judge sentences English to 73 months and 36 months of supervised release.

So 73 months in prison and then 36 months of supervised release for trying to murder the Treasury secretary, considering murdering other members of the administration, and trying to blow up the Heritage Foundation. So he apparently shows up to the Heritage Foundation, or plans to show up to the Heritage Foundation, wants to kill a particular person at the Heritage Foundation. It's unclear from the documents who that is. Some of this is coming from reporting from places like Fox News and others. It wants to blow up the main conservative think tank. And they catch him, and okay, he'll get a few years in prison. Okay. then I'll come out and try to do it again probably.

Gotta stay focused. The fact that this is not a major news story is actually about more than the perfety of the media because now we have a lot of independent media. In some cases, we have too much independent media given some of the nonsense that goes around the internet. But we have outlets that could be reporting on this stuff and you're not getting a lot of reporting.

Daily Wire ran a report on this yesterday. You're not getting a lot of reporting. You're not getting a lot of chatter about it because we've come to expect it. And in the news business, you want a headline that surprises people, and this headline doesn't surprise people anymore. And I just, I feel like we're a frog getting boiled in water. And we're arguing with all the other frogs.

That's actually a fitting example because of the frog avatar, like the Pepe Avatar on right-wing social media platforms. But so we're all arguing with each other. Meanwhile, the temperature gets turned up and up and up. You're getting more of these radical socialists who are being nominated for these major offices in an election year where all the political headwinds are against us. Meanwhile, you have their supporters coming out trying to literally murder Republicans. of their top thought leader, Hassan Piker, openly calling to murder two Democrat senators,

sorry, two Republican senators, openly saying America deserves 9-11. You have those very same candidates campaigning with Hassan Piker. And you have some of those candidates and some of those left-wing pundits and some of those left-wing activists and rank-and-file left-wing voters who are coming out and defending all of the violence. And here we are and we're arguing about whether we should we should pay more attention to Aristotle or John Locke. I'm all for debates of ideas. I find it very interesting. I love Aristotle and to a much lesser degree, John Locke. But guys, you know this is real life, right? You know, this is real life? You know, these people like have guns and they want to have the guns of political power, the political authority, and they want to use that to punish us unjustly.

You know that, right? We got to rise on the ball. We can, we're nominating decent candidates. Can we focus on where the real threat actually lies? Okay. She's saying there's really no crime at all that when these thugs go in and rob the drugstores, it's actually just a crime of biological need. We'll get into that in a moment. imagining appearance, comportment, speech, dress, whatever you're imagining is totally right. Here is a speech on what she calls crimes of poverty. What we saw were crimes of poverty. People who were stealing things like tooth face, people who are stealing things like, you know, soap. And that means if you're stealing those things, you need them. So I would say that the true crime is that there is such incredible wealth disparity in this city that there are people who can be thrown in jail simply for having a biological need.

And so one of the things that I'm finding for at the state level is to make sure we pass things like treatment not jail and that we hold the line on the incredible criminal justice reforms that we have done over the last 10 and 20 years that are constantly being threatened by right-wing media who are looking to fearmonger about people who are actually just in absolute dire strait. They're in absolute dire straight. This is biological need. They commit no crime. You know the real crime? These corporations that are making the products. This is the kind of language you hear by people who defend Louis. Mangeoni, where the real criminal is not the murderer, the guy who murders a father in cold blood. No, no, the real crime is an executive at a company running a company. That's the real crime.

The real crime is that some people have more money than you do, that some people make products and you don't make products. So let's examine her claim on Justine's face. So, first of all, just at a very basic economic level, what she is, what she is, what she is identifying as the real victim here, the person who she wants to be punished, even, you know, the billion-dollar corporations, they won't actually be punished. I was talking to my friend and colleague, Christina Lewis, here the other day, and she pointed out, she said, well, you know, the thing that's going to happen is if the street

criminals keep stealing from the stores, it's not that that's going to punish the billion-dollar corporations. The billion-dollar corporations are just going to have to raise their prices, and the person who gets punished is the law-abiding citizen. So even if you wanted to punish the corporate executive, you're not actually punishing that person. You're punishing the law-abiding citizen whose prices go up because you're robbing the system. But furthermore, let's take the moral point. The moral point is, does a person have a right in poverty to steal the toothpaste? And St. Thomas Aquinas takes up this issue.

St. Thomas Aquinas takes it up in the Sumo Theologia, which is, he makes the point. He says, a man who steals bread to feed his family commits no crime. And he commits no crime because if he goes out and steals a Ferrari, he does commit a crime. But if he goes and takes bread because his family is on the brink of starvation, he takes bread from a store. He actually commits no crime. And the reason for this transcends the debate between the capitalist on the one hand and the communist on the other hand. The reason that the man who steals bread to prevent starvation in his family, that man commits no crime is because, we have private property, and private property is good, and private property is even a right,

and private property is definitely conducive to human flourishing. But goods ultimately come from God. We didn't create our lives. We didn't create the world. We didn't create the sun and the trees and the water. And so the goods ultimately come from God. And therefore, there is private property. The capitalist is right about that. but there is also a universal destination of goods. The socialist is not right because socialism, all of leftism is really just a perversion of Christianity. But the hint of an almost kind of correct thing that they're getting at is we do have obligations to our fellow citizens. We as citizens, as members of political community, have obligations to one another, just as you have obligations to your kids and to your parents and to your cousins and to your family because the political community is an extension of the family. because patriotism is an extension of filial piety. So you actually do have obligations to people.

You don't owe your neighbor the shirt off your back. But if you have some extra shirts in your closet, it is possible that you might owe your neighbor that in certain circumstances. That is the classical political conception of this problem. That is the traditional Christian conception of this problem. And this is why the assemblyman's take totally flops here. She says, these are crimes of poverty. First of all, no one needs the toothpaste exactly. But even if the toothpaste is a little different from feeding your starving family, but even if you did need the toothpaste, there are many places to get toothpaste in New York City. You can go, one, we have Medicaid. So if you're really poor, you can just access Medicaid for medical services. You can go to food pantries. You can go to homeless

shelters. You can go to the many private charities, many, many of which, if not most of which, are provided by the church. There are lots of places to go get toothpaste without stealing it from CVS. When you steal it from CVS, one, that'll probably inflate prices over the long run for the law-biting customer, but it also just creates disorder. It creates disorder. It breaks social trust. It reduces faith in the justice system if these crimes aren't policed. It just emiserates everybody. It is contrary to the common good. That's the issue. And so I think this is really the way to take on the left. When the socialists are on the rise among a lot of people in this country, the way to take them on, JD-Bans made this point the other day,

I thought he was very right about it. The way to take them on is not just to keep repeating the same slogans that you heard in 1987 about the free market. We should defend free markets in many cases. But you have to respond to what has changed. You need to respond to what people are thinking in this moment, to what people are feeling in this moment. You have to affirm the good, however little there may be of that, in their inclinations that are drawing them towards socialism, but you need to redirect it away from the evil of socialism toward the good that socialism has perverted, which is the Christian political tradition, the classical political tradition, the American political tradition. That's what you have to do. Yeah, yeah, no, you're right. Obviously,

no one thinks that if a guy and his family are starving on the street, and big bread as a loaf of bread in a store window, a big bread with $10 billion of profits every year, that no one thinks that the man on the street shouldn't be able to have a bite of bread. No one is saying that. But what the left is offering you is not going to solve the problem. It's going to make every problem worse.

That's, I think, is how you have to answer it. But you can't answer it by burying your head in the sand. Okay. Now, speaking of the Democrat Socialists, what they're really after is not just health care for all. You know, this is, my takeaway from the primaries last night is the difference between the left and the right is we don't actually vote for the fringe radicals on our side and they nominate theirs to the highest offices. But what the left will respond to that, what they'll say is, you know, the fringe radicals on the right, they're Nazis. And the fringe radicals on the left, they just want to give people health care.

They just want to give people health care. And murder Donald Trump and murder Charlie Kirk and take away people's property and docs. a million New Yorkers like Mom Dani just did to whip up a mob against them and to open the borders, and, and, and, and, and, and they say, you're radicals on the right. You're Nazis and the radicals on the left. We just want to give people health care. Well, what do they actually want to do? We have here, Cliff Connolly, who is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America steering committee. He's one of the leaders of the DSA, which has now surged to take over the Democrat Party. He says what they're really about. So the two things that we're famous for is our commitment.

to a program and our hatred of the United States Constitution. And what the program does is it gives us a roadmap to revolution, and it gives us the obstacle that we finally will have to get over to have a revolution, which is the United States Constitution, the basis of the United States government. And what the minimum maximum program specifically, what that format specifically gives us is that roadmap. It gives us the minimum circumstances under which we would be able to take power and govern, and it gives us the maximum program, which is the goals that we're actually aiming for.

It also clarifies democracy as both the end goal and as part of the process to get there, ensures the internal party democracy that we want to see in DSA. So it really wraps up the revolutionary tradition of democracy that I think socialism, and abolitionism in the United States have always been a part of and aims it at a future that we can live in as a human species because I think he keeps babbling

but I think you get the point. So he opens up, he says, you know the thing we're really famous for here is our hatred of the Constitution? And even I, and I know what these people are about, but even I assumed he was going to laugh after that, that they were all going to kind of chuckle. Oh, yeah, that's the caricature of the Democratic Socialists.

You know, you know what they say about us. It'd be like a right-winger saying, you know, you know, you know what we conservatives are all about, right? We're all about cigars and misogyny and hoarding a lot of money. That's what we're about. Rich Uncle Pennybags. That would be a joke. We would say, ha, that is a caricature of us, but that we're going to joke about. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. He doesn't laugh. There's no chuckle with this guy. He goes, yeah, you know what we're really about is our hatred of the U.S. Constitution. Not one chuckle. Pretty humorless lot, that crew. And he says, yeah, so that's what we're about. out, we want a revolution to overthrow the constitutional order. And our end goal is pure democracy

and abolition. By abolition, I believe this refers to abolishing prisons. So what we want to do is let all the criminals free. This is just like the French Revolution. One of the central acts of the French revolution is letting all the criminals out of the Bastille, which the left is always trying to do. They've been openly talking about this at high levels of government. We need to abolish prisons, let the criminals out onto the street, create an anarchist situation. that the foot soldiers of the American left are Antifa, who just, or street criminals who commit violence, including murder. And so we're going to let them out on the street. We're going to have radical democracy. And even the democracy point is kind of funny because the word

democracy appears a handful of times in the Federalist papers, which were the sales pitch for the U.S. Constitution. And every time democracy appears in the Federalist, it is in a negative sense. It is, as a warning, not to get too much democracy. And so this guy is pretty honest. I got to give them points for honesty because he's saying, yeah, what the Democratic socialists are about. Look, we've taken over the Democrat Party and what we are about is destroying the U.S. Constitution. We want a totally radically different form of government. And I think they're right about that. Whereas the American conservatives, even if we disagree on foreign policy a little bit with each other and we disagree on trade a little bit, maybe, we disagree on, I don't know, whatever, I think it is fair to say.

that all of the American conservatives, anyone who would call himself a part of the American right, likes America. Likes America. Even if he has a skewed picture of America, as many of the liberals and libertarians and neocon types do, especially, even if they have a kind of skewed view of America, they love America. So that's why they're on the team. That's why it makes sense for there to be a coalition with all these disparate groups. Whereas on the left, they hate America, and they think America's evil, and they want to destroy it.

and you don't need to read very far into Karl Marx to realize that Marx's favorite line of literature comes from Gertes Faust, which is that everything that exists deserves to perish, and Marx, in his own words, says that he calls for the ruthless criticism of all that exists. So that's what it's about. It's purely destructive. And those guys are being nominated to high offices.

So, yeah, okay, the very online right, you know, they kind of took a few hits last night in the primary, okay, we're kind of done with the meme portion. of the campaign. That's great. Okay, all right. Now, guys, do you want the people who want to kill you to be in high office or not? That's really what it comes down to. Okay, you wish Trump had deported some more people. Okay, you don't like the Iran war. Okay, you wish gas were a little cheaper. Okay, I get it. I get it. I get it. I'm not even, I don't even mean to minimize that. I get it. I totally get it. Do you want the people who want to shred the Constitution who follow

his son, Piker who says he wipes his dairy with the American flag and wants to kill senators? You want that guy? He wants to kill you and your family? You want that guy in office? Or no? Oh, you don't? Okay, vote for the Republicans. Okay, we good? We're all going to be big boys now? We're all going to be adults? Okay, good. I hope so. Now, speaking of these radicals who were not exactly hiding, you know, the DSA has been pretty open about this and now they're being even more open. There was this other guy hiding in plain sight, this radical guy, Jason Rday, who was this academic at Cambridge, who plagiarized everything and lied about his entire biography. And he was promoted because of DEI. at one of the most prestigious and oldest universities in the world.

Very sad end to his story. When he was exposed, he killed himself. Now, that's very sad. We should pray for him. What's even stranger is there was just a rally of thousands of people who were supporting him and who were furious at the academics who revealed his plagiarism. They were blaming, they were blaming. they were blaming the people who told the truth

and who stood up for academic integrity for a fraudster's suicide. We'll get to that in a moment. First, my favorite comment yesterday is from Kuala Nectar 9382. He says, I want to start a go-fund me for myself just to pay my bills and my rent. Seems like a far more legitimate use of fundraising

than $800,000 to a murderer. And maybe I'm just a naive fool. No, I think you're right. The whole go-fund-me thing, I mean, look, most of us probably have contributed to some sort of go-fund-me thing. thing at some point. And sometimes people need it. You know, a family hits heart times, needs expenses. Okay. Yeah, that's a good use of it. But the political go-fund-me thing, I really find distasteful.

Even if it shows up on the right. But you see it much more on the left, like Carmelo Anthony. Carmelo Anthony just murders this white track runner in cold blood and then raises zillions of dollars to be rewarded for his murder. Same thing with Lindsay Clancy raises almost a million dollars. These crazy women on the internet raise a million dollars for Lindsay Clancy to reward her for strangling her three kids, a fact that not even she disputes. But you even see it on the right. I think it wasn't Shiloh Hendricks, the gal who said the racial epithets to the Somali guy and the kid and didn't, I think there was a go-fundme for her and she raised some money. The whole thing, though, I find kind of sad because

what it reflects is that we as a society, we really, even on the right, we've reduced ourselves to the material. So we think, if you, if you, you. you like someone, if you support someone, if you want to help someone, if you want to console someone, the only thing we can do is click a button and send digital money. But there's nothing else that we can do. That's the only way that we express support or affection anymore. The idea that for Gen Z, a lot of romance is just boiled down to like only fans. You know, you just, instead of having a, I shouldn't laugh, but instead of having a love affair or romantic relationship, you just like push a button and send electronic money to a prostitute. And we just

do that. It's all the only thing that we feel. feel we can do to express our affection for someone is just to send them digital money. There's more to life than that. Money is good to have, but there's more to life than that. We no longer really seem to believe that. What happened to the spiritual works of mercy? Anyway, we'll come back to that in a moment first. I do want to get to the R-Day story because it's really, really sad at multiple levels.

So this guy, Jason R-Day, I covered him on the show a few days ago. He was this academic, much-fetted at Cambridge University, one of the most prestigious schools in the world. And he plagiarized like 180 times. And so this was revealed, it was revealed by this guy, Koffness, Nathan Koffness, who was an academic who exposed the plagiarism. And then when they saw the plagiarism, they saw that he had all of these lies in his biography. He claimed to have run like hundreds of miles in a matter of days to have completed something like 30 marathons and 35 days or something totally absurd, that he was mutant.

until he was 11 years old, illiterate until 18, and then he became this great professor. And he was in some fake field, one of these sociology of the studies of the studies of sociology field. And he was just fed it at the height of wokeness in DEI. There was evidence that the academic journals knew about this, but they just wanted to cover it up. The story was too good. They didn't want to pop the wokeness bubble. And so he was exposed. Now we're post-peak wokeness, and he gets fired, and he killed himself.

He committed suicide. It's really, really sad. But thousands of people in the UK, thousands of people in, I think there was one rally, and was this Canada, all these people are demonstrating in support of him and blaming the guy who exposed the reality. No, this was in the UK. This was in the UK, too. Even though there's a Canadian flag there, I think this was in the UK. There's thousands of people attacking the academic who exposed him saying, no, you shouldn't have told the truth. We should have had this fraudster. We should have had this hoax artist in the academy. How could you? They're angry at him for telling the truth.

And this is pretty dark because you have to think the only way to correct the errors that we're in. We're in this very delusional era and error. where we don't know the difference between a man and a woman, where we pretend not to know what objective truth is or to be able to arrive at objective truth, where we don't know what makes up a country.

So we pretend that borders have to be totally open in our countries, but not other people's countries, where we're in this period of increasing radicalism, Weimar America, where you've got all these a little bit of radicalism on the right, but a ton of it on the left, getting nominated to high office, just sick, sick stuff.

People murdering kids and then having go FundMe is raised for them and then we have murdering kids as a matter of national policy. And it's just we're in a period of intense error where we can't acknowledge what a human being is. We're now commoditizing and selling human life. We don't know what a woman is. We're so confused. And there are a lot of people who say, well, look, it's just we can't unwind it.

I understand. It's scary to think if you start to unwind some of these errors, it's just your whole universe will explode. I remember this. When I realized that liberalism was just like wrong, I realized this when I was about 19 years old. And when I realized that liberalism itself is just wrong, it just is a misunderstanding of human nature and of how human societies work. It actually shocked me. When I ceased to be a libertarian, it really shocked me because I said, well, now I need to rethink all of these assumptions that I've made about politics. And so I get it. It's like very, very scary. But nothing good will come of doubling down on error.

Nothing good will come of blaming the guy who told the truth about the academic fraudster. Nothing good will come of denying who murdered her kids, Lindsay Clancy. Nothing good will come of burying our heads in the sand. The radicalism and the dysfunction

will only get worse. Okay, before we go, speaking of spiritual works and trying to do things more than money, there is one last thing I want to do because I got this message from a guy last night, who I guess is a listener to the show. Let's see.
