That part, I guess, is to be expected, but a weekend, right-wingers are defending Sidney's mostly nude gambling ad as conservative. And the craziest part of all is they're right. On top of that, we learn even more about the lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy case, whose racial and religious identity is similarly confounding the usual preferences of the left and the right.

the Sydney Sweeney ad. Because I got enough sins I got to confess. I don't need, I didn't feel like I needed to cover the Sydney Sweeney nude, not totally nude, but mostly nude, gambling ad. I said, you know what, I'm just going to let this go. People can talk about it, but people are still talking about it. And the left in particular is really upset. The feminists, the defenders of women's sports, so ironic. These libs who have spent the last six years destroying women's sports by letting hulking dudes into them. All of a sudden they say, no, no, no, the real threat to women's sports is how hot Sidney's Sweeney is. So, look, I spent seven days not covering it. Here it. You want it? You want it? Here it is. Here's the Sydney Sweeney ad.

So for those of you who are only listening, The ad is mostly Sydney Sweeney walking around, looking good, looking really good, and being mostly naked but covering upper body in sports paraphernalia. You know, different balls and bibles. Okay, all right, you get the point. You get the point of the ad. So the criticism of this. ad. The chief criticism is that Sidney Sweeney is sexualizing women in sports. And we'll get to what

would have been the conservative criticism. We'll get to how kind of weird it is that conservatives are now defending what is close to pornography, which is being promoted in defense of gambling. And, okay, we'll get to that. But just this first point that Sydney Sweeney is sexualizing women in sports. Once again, the left is demonstrating that they don't understand what women's sports are. I guess we should have known that because of the trans ideology, but the question is, what is women's sports? What is it? It is not the kind of sport that includes men. So right off the bat, we exclude all the trans stuff we heard for the last six years. But let's go a little deeper than just women's sports are the kind of sports that include women and not men. They include women,

men because men are stronger than women, so if you love men into women's sports, you destroy women's sports. You don't expand it. You destroy it. At a deeper level, what is women's sports? Women's sports are about women's bodies. And women's bodies are hot. They're good looking. They're attractive. There are some people who will say, well, if a man did this kind of ad, one, you could never imagine it. No man would ever do this kind of ad. And it would degrade men's sports. And so we shouldn't degrade women's sports by suggesting that women's sports is about how hot women are. But this, once again, misses the point. And it reaffirms the first error that people made in talking about women's sports. The fact is men and women's bodies are different. And sports is about the body.

Academic conferences at philosophy associations, that's not primarily about the body. That's mostly about the mind. Chess tournaments are not primarily about the body. They're mostly about the mind and they're about strategy. But sports, like football and basketball and baseball, sports are about bodies. They're about physique. And men's bodies are not hot, but women's bodies are hot. That's one of the differences. Men are attracted to women in ways that women are not primarily attracted to men. It's not like, look, some of us, you know, for the Adonis is among us, it's true, you know, our physique is part of our Riz and our appeal. But I don't care how hot you are as a guy. I don't care what kind of an Adonis you look like. The way that women approach attraction and men and

sex is fundamentally different from the way that men approach attraction and sex and relationships. For men, we are much more visual. We are much more visibly stimulated and attracted by the physical form of the woman. The woman is attracted to other things. This is why, like, short, fat, ugly guys can get really good-looking women if they're funny, if they're clever, if they're rich, and it doesn't work the other way. We're just different. Men are from Mars, women are from Venus, Vla de France. So if you're beginning with something, which is about sports, that means that it's about the body. And so the way that women's bodies are going to factor into women's sports, it's just going to be different from how men's bodies are factoring to women's sports. I do think some of the women who are complaining

about this, it might be because generally female athletes are not quite as attractive as Sidney is. So maybe there's a little bit of jealousy. I would never want to accuse women of jealousy over other women. But maybe there's a little bit of envy, I should say, going on there. But also, I think, basically, it's just the error of feminism. It actually is part of the very same error that people are falling into, even when they talk about transgenderism in women's sports. Okay. So that's That's the left-wing error. But what about the right? The right, I think, is raising a fair objection, which is, hold on a second here. Are we really now defending nudity and gambling as conservative virtues? This is crazy. 30 years ago, it would have been the conservatives. It would have been the church moms,

not the feminists, but the church moms and the stodgy guys in their three-piece suits and ties who are complaining about the Sydney-Sweeney ad. Now we're embracing that. And the answer is, Yeah, we are because relatively speaking, the mostly nude gambling, Sydney Sweeney ad is relatively conservative because we are living in a culture that is so starved for truth that the fact that a company is putting a good-looking woman in an advertisement is refreshing. It's refreshing, not just because it appeals to the prurian interest or something, it's refreshing because it acknowledges the truth. And for the last 10 years, we have been told that we have to deny the truth. We have to pretend that big, fat, ugly chicks are just as attractive or more attractive as thin, good-looking

chicks. We've been told that we have to pretend that men are women. We've been told that we have to pretend that men are not attracted to women. We've been told all of these lies. And so a little return to what would essentially be 90s liberalism is actually refreshing. And I think that the reason that people are celebrating the advertisement actually does go deeper than just how hot Sidney Sweeney is. It does. It does. It is, even if you just had a conservative close his eyes and you told him about the ad, he would, whether he wanted to admit it or not, he would be happy about that because it is a corrective to this crazy left-wing culture. Now, obviously, we need to go further. The reason that that's conservative is because of how far gone our political situation is. So we need to go

further. We need to reestablish modesty. We need to reestablish some norms and limits, I think, around gambling, gambling, which is proliferated, totally exploded in the last five or so years. We need to do all of that. But actually, the first step to doing that, the first step to getting back to some modesty in advertising is Sidney Sweeney being kind of immodest. I know that's weird, but let's say the ideal kind of advertising is that you're not advertising products of vice, but you're advertising nice things like, I don't know, ironing boards or something. I don't know, whatever you're advertising cigars, you're advertising run-hide fight, whatever it is that you're advertising. We want it to be good-looking women. There we go. We got both the ding and the jihadi call. That's very

impressive. You want it to be elegant. You want it to be attractive, but not in a way that is crass or vulgar or too appealing to the prurrian interest. Okay. Well, in order to get there, we need to at least reestablish what attractive is. And in order to do that, sometimes you need a shock to the system. So instead of having some like 400 pound they, them, pansexual with a beard wearing a miniskirt, which is what our advertising has been for 10 years, you need to go back to Sidney Sweeney. There is a reason that the left is seething over this. There is a reason the feminists are seething over it. And so conservatives, we got to take the dub where we can get it. And then we need to move forward. So while the normal people are talking about their favorite

Sydney Sweeney ad, we have the Democrat nominee for Senate in Texas who is currently winning the race. He's currently leading James Talafriko, as President Trump calls him. He's not talking about his favorite Sydney Sweeney ad. He's talking about his favorite drag queen. Mr. Tala Rico, so nice to read and sorry, I broke with him. I was there when you defended the drag. Who's your favorite drag queen in Texas? Oh my gosh, probably Alyssa Edwards. Alyssa Edwards, I love Marky, Mays. Thank you so much.

Like a patient in a doctor's office, when the doctor pulls out the hammer and hits his knee, it was an immediate reflex. Is it, that's a little, that's crazy. I've made a lot of jokes about James Tala Rico. I have made a lot of insinuations that he's a homosexual. And I'm mostly joking, kind of. You know, he has a girlfriend. ostensibly. She goes to another school. She lives in another town. But I've made that joke a lot. Even I am shocked by the rapidity with which he responds to this question. Hey, hey, Mr. Talarico,

Mr. Tala Rico, Mr. Tala Riko, who's your favorite drag who? Elisa Edwards. Before the questions even out, he says that. Tala Riko is the moderate Democrat in this race. Are you aware of that? The Democrats are running some of the candidates as a little edgier, like Abdul El-Syad, who's leaning into Islam. He's also leading into the weird kind of LGBT stuff. But Talarico, he's their candidate for Texas, good old red Texas, who's running as the white guy, the straight white guy in the suit with the parted hair. Tala Rico instantly says the name of his favorite drag queen. So apparently, not that I'm an expert in this, Alyssa Edwards, which is the stage name of this fella who's a drag queen, particularly loves doing drag performances for kids. So the most moderate Democrat

running in the midterm elections has right off the top of his head, right off the dome, a favorite drag queen who just coincidentally is a drag queen who does the weird jiggling routines in front of kids. You will recall this is the same James Talarico who was asked to name something he loves beyond his immediate family. The very thing, you know, the very thing. The that came to mind, the very first thing, trans kids. Something that you love that's not family or friends. I love, and just say this because it's on my mind, the trans children who showed up yesterday at the state Capitol to advocate for their humanity. They shouldn't have to, but it was an

inspiration to watch. Hey, what do you love? Other than your family, What would you say? Just write off the, off the nagon. What do you love? If you asked me, Michael, what do you love other than your family? I'd say, I love old books, and I love cigars, of course, and I love port. I love a nice vintage port. I love my ukuleleys. I love my piano. And if you asked me this, and we were sitting here for 100,000 hours, and I finally exhausted the list of everything I love, I guess at a certain point in the sense of general Christian charity, I guess at a certain point and say, and I love the kids who are dealing with these problems, and I hope they get better,

I hope we can help them. For James Tolariko, it was the first thing he said. And he said it a little slower than the drag queen thing. He didn't come. It wasn't just, what do you love? I love trans kids. It was even creepier than that, actually. James Tala Rico, he said, what do you love? And he had the answer right away. He answered right. But he knew it sounded creepy. So he goes, well, I mean, I'm just, I'm just going to say this. Just because it's on my mind. Yeah, I know it's on your mind. Yeah, I just am I allowed to say, I love trans kids.

He sounds as creepy as like a Philip Seymour Hoffman character. You know, he sounds at, I just know, of trans kids. And then that coupled with the answer on the drag queen, I love trans kids and I love the drag queens to perform for trans kids. It prompted the vice president, J.D. Vans, to just post that meme of him from that debate. You remember that meme of the debate where he's looking, eyebrow race? Hmm, uh, what, uh, could we get, can we get a hard drive check on aisle five?

That's Tala Rico. That is the most moderate Democrat in this race. I gave a speech last night. I'm here in Fayetteville, Arkansas gave a speech. Big pact house was great for TPSA, uh, continuing the tour, Charlie's tour that continued. It was going to be with his friends last year right after he was murdered. and then some of us carried on that tour. TPSA is carrying the flame and other friends are helping out on the tour this time. This was the subject of my speech last night. In this race, you have Republicans who are just like in any midterm election year.

They're just a little bit less enthusiastic. That's what happens historically. On top of that, some conservatives don't like the Iran war. Fair enough. They don't like the gas prices are going to go up. They don't, okay, I get it. I get it. They don't like that we've only have. a net change of 7 million illegal aliens in a year and a half. I think that's a pretty impressive number, but they want it to be 8 million or 9 million. Okay, whatever I get it. We're up against, we're up against this guy. We're up against a party, the most moderate member of which says that the thing he most loves is trans kids and who has a favorite drag queen. If you if you have a favorite drag queen period, especially one that you can name immediately, you cannot make any plausible claim to being political moderate. That's what we're up against. Are you going to sit at home or are you going to get out and vote?

Speaking of things that confound the preferences and the guesses of the left and the right, we have to get to this Lindsay Clancy juror. Then we found that he was a man that really irritated the left. Oh boy, did they hate that? Then we found out he was a black guy. Do you remember this? I played the clip. I think it was just yesterday on CBS News. The anchor is talking to one of the jurors who was spilling the beans. She says, yeah, you know, is a person of color. And the anchor says, hold on. Was the hold out juror a black man? She goes, wow, I need to sit with that for a minute. It's so horrified. Well, now we find out the lone juror is apparently a devout Catholic, according to reporting. Love that. Score one for the

Papists. And two, his family is a Haitian immigrant family. Is that the group? This is weird. it. The group that the left has most embraced of all of the immigrant groups in the last year and a half. It's the Haitian. Remember the poor Haitians who were being sent back because their temporary status expired 14 years ago and no one sent them back and Trump's sending them back. The Haitians, that beloved group comprising black men, another beloved group of the left, it was that guy. They hate the Catholics, of course, but it was that guy who held out against the jurors. It's so, so beautiful. And now the left is so angry they're trying to destroy this guy. So according to the reporting, you can read about it in New York Post. Now that they've discovered that this one guy

stood up against the jury, they want to ruin his life. So they're pulling up all these details. They're doxing him. His family can't go outside. They're getting calls. They're getting threats. And they finally got some dirt on this guy. And do you know what the dirt is? According to the reports, the lone juror was accused of domestic violence. It just very serious thing. Maybe he committed it. Maybe he didn't. I don't know. I do know that in the legal process, the charges were dismissed. So he was accused of domestic violence, but he was never prosecuted for it. He was certainly never convicted of it. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. Might have happened. I don't know. There are all sorts of other reports from people in this guy's

community saying this guy is wonderful, that, you know, he goes to the mechanic and the poor woman can't pay to fix her car, and he pays to fix her car. He pays to fill her gas. You know, so apparently, he's very well liked and respected in the community, but regardless, that's what the left is going on. This juror had an allegation against him that he committed domestic violence. I can't believe no one is talking about this, but my first thought when I heard that is, if you are shocked by a dismissed domestic violence charge against this juror, just wait till you hear what Lindsay Clancy did. do you know what the Lindsay Clancy case is about? Do you, so for those who I guess they only follow the

very tippy top of the headlines, Lindsay Clancy murdered her three children in cold blood and admitted to it. No one disputes that she did that. That is, I guess we would have to say, the very worst kind of domestic abuse that is even imaginable. and she doesn't deny it, and her lawyer doesn't deny it. It just reveals as disingenuous, as hacks the entire mostly left-wing movement to defend Lindsay Clancy and now to try to ruin this juror's life. If it had been anything else, if the lone juror had robbed a liquor store, you'd say, okay, well, now we're comparing different crimes. If the lone juror had unpaid speeding tickets or parking tickets, That would even be different. But the left is saying domestic violence doesn't matter when you admit to it and murder your three children,

but it is the unforgivable sin when you are accused of it and the charges are dismissed. Is that really what we're saying? Is this really about domestic violence? No, this is about the fury that one man, especially that it was a man, and they're especially furiously he's a black guy and he's Haitian, that one man stood up against this gaggle of crazy women and said, hey, we're not going to let this murderer off the hook for killing her three kids. The Lindsay Clancy supporters are not letting up. Yet another Lindsay Clancy supporter is going viral for calling Clancy, not just, you know,

a poor woman who fell into psychosis, who shouldn't be held accountable because she wasn't really or in her right mind and she's not guilty by way of insanity. She's not saying that. She's saying Lindsay Clancy, you are an inspiration. So Lindsay Clancy, I want to say this to you. I don't care if you ever literally hear this out loud or not. I am sending all the love and support in the world to you. You are a hero. You are divine feminine rising. Your soul came here for a massive mission. You are goddess incarnated woman. You have sacrificed so much. And I am so sorry for everything that you have experienced, all of the trauma, but I am telling you that you are loved, you are supported more than you could ever realize. And there are so many people in this world who have the ability to help

you and will support you for the rest of your life because you deserve it. And in honor of you and your babies, we will do better. We will create new systems that can help you for the rest of life, but also will help everybody else. You are an inspiration. You are elevating the level of consciousness on this planet. And Kevin Redington, let me tell you never thought I would say in patriarchy, an old white man would be a part of a massive movement of consciousness to dismantle patriarchy. But I have to give a shout out to him. She's a hero. We share a country with these people. Do you know that? That woman's going to go vote in the midterms. Are you aware of that? that you live in a country that is governed according to the Demos, the people who go out and vote

and elect representatives. And you have a slate of representatives right now who are talking about their favorite drag queens that twerk for children that want to flood your country with foreigners and take away all your stuff and cast straight little kids and kill babies. You live in that country. And that woman who just called Lindsay Clancy a hero is going to vote. That woman who said, we're going to create systems that take care of you for the rest of your life. The most charitable read that you could almost say about this woman is about the woman making the video and Lindsay Clancy, I guess, too, is the most charitable read is, okay, well, you're talking about systems to prevent women who are going crazy from murdering their kids, right? That's not

what she's talking about. She tells you. She says, no, no, no, I want to create systems that protect you, Lindsay Clancy for the rest of your life. Not the Lindsay Clancy before she killed her kids to stop her from kids. The Lindsay Clancy, who already, killed her kids. We want to support you after that back. And we want to create systems that support other women who kill their kids, like that lady on Oprah who said, hey, you know, my big concern is the next time that a woman murders her kids, is she going to get off the hook like Lindsay Clancy? If she's black? I want to, my kids, no, no, no, my big concern, it's not to stop women from killing their kids. It's what happens if a black woman kills her kids? Is she also going to get

off the hook? We share a country with these people. And their ideology is a little, deeper than just ordinary politics. Do you hear the language this woman's using? Key phrases here. She says, the define feminine is rising. She says, you are the goddess. She says you're raising the consciousness. You're on a mission. On and on and on and on. This is very new agey kind of language. This is referring to specific, Gnostic, occultic kinds of rituals. She's mixing all of that with the political language of feminism. We've got to fight the patriarchy. She seems to imply, and I think she's right, that you can't really separate political feminism from this weird, occult, new agey stuff about what is the divine feminine? All of this to say,

these women are witches? Are you aware of that? I know whatever the left wing groups, media matters is kind of dead, but whatever the new one is, I'm sure. they'll clip this out, but fine, they can clip it out. This is witchcraft. Sometimes we have trouble reading history because we just don't know how to relate to it. We don't know what historical accounts mean. In the past, in the 17th century, in the 11th century,

when women were accused of witchcraft, it wasn't, as we think from children's stories, just like flying around on broomsticks in the sky or something. it was this stuff. Witchcraft, by the way, which is self-consciously on the rise, like many, many more women today are calling themselves witches and say that they practice a religion called Wicca and witchcraft. This is it. This is what we're talking about. I got in trouble because I was asked to go do a quick little bit. We played the yes or no game at the America 250 celebration, and this cute little girl comes up and one of the questions was, you know, are witch is real or something?

Or did the Salem witch trials not go far enough? It was some kind of provocative question. And it was the girl, I got accused of lecturing a girl about witchcraft. I did not do that. It was actually the opposite. The girl lectured me about witchcraft. And she had the perfect answer. She goes, she goes, yeah, yeah. It's, they didn't go far enough or whatever, because witches are real. And I got in trouble for that. They put that on my wikipate. It was her, and she was right. The girl was totally right. This is witchcraft. It brings me to the top of the show. If you're upset about sexualizing women's sports. If you're upset about focusing on women's bodies when you talk about women's sports, what do you think women's sports are? If you're upset about me calling this woman a witch

and all the Lindsay Clancy supporters witches, what do you think witchcraft is? Witchcraft is this bizarre, occultic kind of pseudo-religion where you investigate the divine feminine and you think about the cosmic mission of the women, a mission that is not just like praying for your neighbor, mission that involves murdering children. This is like literally what the Salem witch trials were accusing these women of. The problem with the Salem witch trials is they were Protestant rather than Catholic. We can get into that. We'll get into that some other time. But this is textbook witchcraft. And it's happening right now. We have a hard time reading history. There's a massive, egregious, enormous kind of persecution of Christians that's going on right now. Most people, probably most

The state of Massachusetts has stolen a child from Catholic parents because the Catholic parents refused to participate in gender ideology. A lot of you are going to hear that and you're going to say, this is still going on in the big two six. I thought we were done with that years ago. Well, the case began a couple years ago. This was 2024. So kind of the end of peak woke. The election of Donald Trump in 2024 marks the end of woke one. So this was a few months before that. This Massachusetts family lost custody of their teenage daughter. Child Protective Services showed up, took the daughter away from this Catholic couple because

the couple is Catholic. The daughter, her name is Sophie, she apparently had been transed by her public school. The daughter's school, Algonquin Regional High School in Southborough, Massachusetts, had secretly been transing this girl, Sophie. According to the report, the school, quote, exposed Sophie to a culture steeped in gender ideology and blamed and, and a school counselor socially transitioned the daughter to become a boy without the knowledge or permission of the parents. So the active party here was the school pushing this Gnostic, occultic, hideously dangerous ideology onto the daughter. That's bad enough because the school is an agent of the state. Then somebody calls CPS and they remove the daughter from the Catholic parents' home. They steal

the Catholic's daughter because the Catholic parents said, well, yeah, we don't believe in that. We, not just because we're Catholic, but we like statistically every single religious group, every single person who's ever lived everywhere for all of history, we don't believe that boy can become a girl or the girl can become a boy. So we're not going to inflict what we think is a false ideology onto our kid, particularly when it's an ideology that when you adopt it, makes you much more likely to be depressed, anxious, and to kill yourself and to engage in harmful mutilations that don't improve any of those numbers and actually make at least one of them worse. That's what they said. And they said, oh, yeah? Well, we're going to take your

daughter from you. So what is this? We read about the persecutions of Christians by the state in the first century, in the Roman Empire, in the earliest days of Christianity, first and second centuries. We read about that and we say, wow, that's crazy. Can you believe there was a time back before the Enlightenment, back before political liberalism, back before widespread democracy, where the state would go in and punish people for their religious belief? So might. You know, at the height of the Roman Empire, the idea of just stealing a person's kid, I mean, that's harsh even for some of those pagan Romans.

We can't recognize that the very same thing is happening right now. This is extreme religious persecution that is most particularly focused on Catholics, but it's against Christians broadly and it's against religious people broadly. Don't forget, when the Biden administration was spying on religious people, calling them extremists, it was the Catholic churches they were spying on. I know Biden was nominally Catholic, but they focused most particularly on the Catholics. The Catholic Church is really the chief enemy of the political left. Don't forget, the political left rises in the French Revolution specifically to oppose the Catholic Church. It was the people who sat on the left side of the National Assembly who were there because they opposed the Catholic Church. And there's fall over here, there's spillover to plenty of other Christian groups and all sorts of other

religious groups too. But that's really where their ire is. Almost like it's a demonic, satanic kind of ire that comes from the pits of hell, you know, from all time. In any case, this is it. This is it. And it helps us understand history because we just think, you know, in the bad old-timey days, there were these really bad people with really bad intentions who did really bad things, whether they were persecuting women in the Salem witch trials or whether they were persecuting Christians in the Roman Empire. They were just, they were the bad men, and then they persecuted the good men, and we would never do that because we're good men. Many people who think of themselves as good are doing this right now. The CPS officers who took

this kid away from her parents, they think they're doing the right thing. The school counselors who transed this poor little girl, they think they're the good guys. The state of Massachusetts, which is allowing all this to happen. They think they're the good guys. The Biden, DOJ, that was persecuting Catholics. They think they're the good guys. That's the issue. The ancient pagans thought they were doing the right thing to. The people during the Salem witch trials thought they were doing the right thing too. And the really, really crazy part is that the, I'm not like totally pro-Salem witch trial. I'm actually fairly opposed to some of the particulars. the men who ran the Salem Witch Trials were on much more solid moral footing than the state of Massachusetts today.

On much more solid moral footing than the Lindsay Clancy supporters and others. Okay, there is some good news. I don't want to leave you on this totally negative news about the LGBT ideology of Massachusetts. We turned to the great state of Texas before it is taken over by James Talafriko. Before we go, there is some good news coming out of Texas.

And it's an important political lesson that all the conservatives need to get, especially as we have all of these debates heading into the 2028 presidential elections over political. liberalism and neoconservatism and post-liberalism and traditionalism and authoritarianism, whatever. A bunch of nonsense. It's probably going to have no effect on the primary whatsoever. I want you to pay attention to this story. Texas A&M has just announced that it is cutting over 200 classes across its 11 system universities. And those classes, they're not cutting accounting. They're not cutting biology. They're cutting, courses on LGBT studies, on ethnic studies, on climate change studies. The courses that are going to be removed include introduction to women's and gender studies, LGBTQ literatures, introduction to

latinx literature studies. Remember latinx? They didn't want to say Latino. They didn't want to say Hispanic, so then they said Latino, but they didn't want to say Latino because that offends Latina's. So then they did Latins, which offends all of the latinxes because the X would be an English convention, a Spanish convention. Anyway, they're getting rid of that whole thing. Women, writers, introduction to race and ethnicity, gender and health, blacks in the United States, capital B, Bible as literature, not as truth, but as literature and climate change. Why are they doing this? Why is tech, first of all, you say, Texas A&M had all those classes? A&M, that ain't Yale or Harvard. That ain't Wellesley. That, what, A&M has that nonsense. I expected from some of the Ivy League schools or the very liberal

liberal arts schools, but come on, but yes, it's all the schools. It's all the state schools. It's all of them. And they're cutting the classes. The reason they're cutting the classes is because the Texas legislature made them. Take this lesson, please, conservatives, especially my libertarian friends, especially my friends who were worried about authoritarianism and, you know, the heavy hand of the state and tyranny. Pay attention. There was a review that began because of the state law that Texas legislators passed, requiring public university boards to examine what classes their undergraduates must take in order to graduate for their various majors. At the flagship campus of A&M, which I've been to a number of times, a college station, 78 of those classes will no

longer count toward core requirements. They pass the law. They do the review. They say there's a bunch of nonsense of the university system. They cut hundreds of classes. Are you happy about this or upset about this. I'm speaking specific. I know the libs who are watching are probably upset about this. Maybe not all of them, but of the conservatives. There are going to be some conservatives. They're really libertarians who say, well, I don't like this because I don't like it when the state is getting involved. And we need to leave this up to the free market and to cultural change and politics is downstream of culture and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I don't want a straw man, but I think there will be some people who have that reaction because there's some people who are just always so fearful of

authoritarianism and tyranny. and they only want to focus on individual rights. I think it's a good change that the public university in Texas is no longer teaching kids about a bunch of racial and sexual nonsense. I think that's good. I think that's important. I think that's deeply conservative. I think that the modern conservative movement began with William F. Buckley Jr.,

the founder of National Review, who wrote a whole book about how dumb academic freedom is and how we all need to band together to get atheist and socialist professors fired at private universities. forget about public universities, even private universities. That's how the modern conservative movement started. What made them do this was not the free market. It was not changing consumer preferences. It was not the culture. It was the strong hand of the state. That's what did it. And that's good. And that's what we need more of. This has been an observation that some people have come to in recent years, even those who are a little more inclined toward laissez-faire, a little libertarian kind of politics, which is, if you have two parties in the United States, in any

political system, you have two parties, one party wants to wield power and one party wants to give up power, guess which party is going to win? For the last, at least 30 years, maybe 40, 50 years, there have been many people on the right who want to just give up power entirely. Now, I don't want to wield power capriciously, arbitrarily, without limits, tyrannically, I want to wield power in a just way that is circumscribed with inappropriate limits that is ordered toward the common good. It's either that or the Tala Ricos of the world. It's either that or the guys who want to trans the kids and have a favorite drag queen and flood the country with illegals and take away all your money and take away all your guns and sell out the country to communists and jihadis.
