This episode is brought to you by Cardiff, America's favorite small business lender with over 12 billion funded since 2004, applying under three minutes for same-day funding up to 500,000 at Cardiff.co slash Knowles.
Starting point is 00:00:26 A new study shows that the nuclear family is collapsing across major American cities and virtually no one seems to be acknowledging the simple reason why. Then, speaking of cities, Republicans are developing a strange new hope that we can take back New York, even in a midterm year that is looking disastrous. We will get into what the numbers really show. And speaking of New York, even more texts in the case of the Cornell 7 shed light on the essential advice that all young men need to hear. I'm Michael Knowles. It's the Michael Nulls show. Welcome back to the show. Most important thing, if you're driving, pullover, if you're standing up, sit down. Today is the last day to get the beautiful Mayflower smoking jacket, customer.
Starting point is 00:01:30 bestpoke made to measure with velvet from the very finest mill in Como, Italy. You are not going to see a garment like this anywhere else for anywhere near this price. My gift to you, but pre-orders are in now. This is the Noel smoking jacket. First time we've done it in a Christmas green. Okay, now let's talk about taking clothes off as we get to the latest update in the Cornell case. I'm not going to rehash it. I know we give the Cornell 7 update every day.
Starting point is 00:01:56 This girl goes to the frat party. she engages in some weird activities, little Bacchanal, little Dionysian menager wheat, and then it's all fun in games, and everybody seems to enjoy themselves, and then a week later she says it was actually rape because she didn't get invited back to another party at the supposed rape dungeon.
Starting point is 00:02:15 And then it became a civil lawsuit two years later, now they're reopening the criminal case. So the boys' lives have been totally ruined. The girl is still known as Jane Doe, even though some people are reporting her identity. and then the texts keep coming out where she sends a text she says, hey, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:32 all of the sexual stuff was consensual. Like he explicitly says that. Then some guy comes in. They say, why didn't any guy come in to put a stop to this? Then it turns out a guy did come in to put a stop to it. And she said, no, I don't want to put a stop to it. This is what they did in the Middle Ages. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:02:46 My body, my choice. She was apparently posing, doing bodybuilder poses. She's kind of built. You know, she kind of stacked. Then there was another text that was reported where she jokes about how she had accusations that she was transgender and then the boys said that she raped that anyway anyway i won't get into the whole timeline another text came out is the text between one of the girls's roommates and the girl
Starting point is 00:03:11 reportedly while the supposed rape was going on the first text comes in at 654 p.m. Do you want me to door dash something for you? here when you get home. This is as the Menajahuit is going on. And the girl responds, 8.55 p.m. mid-minage says, I don't have a payment to take an Uber. And the roommate goes, oh, can I order you one? She says, I'm riding, and it's like blacked out. I think it's a joke about one of the guys. She's right. I don't know. Anyway, and then she goes, he-he-he. But maybe it's innocent, maybe it's an innocent text, I don't know, it's redacted. So maybe it's okay, I'm writing home with so and so, whatever. It goes, great. Then it's three o'clock in the morning. 3.05 a.m.
Starting point is 00:04:03 This has been going on forever. They've been doing ketamine. At this point, the girl's new allegation issues, totally blacked out, doesn't know anything, basically incapacitated. The roommate says, you come home tonight? And the girl responds, she goes, I don't know, I DK, I don't know, busy doing stuff. Then about 530 a.m. She says, okay, guys, I think we're done here. And the guys say, okay, pack it in. The political of this story. It's not just salacious. It's not just tabloid. It's not just weird sex stuff. The political import is, it shows you how totally stacked against young men our whole political system is. Specifically young white men, but this was a very diverse array in this orgy.
Starting point is 00:04:46 So it shows you how stacked the system is against young men. These young men, their faces, their names are plastered everywhere. Some of these young men have lost their jobs. faced major repercussions. The girl, at least officially, isn't having her identity released. She's still Jane Doe. The girl faced no repercussions for this. Even though one of the guys alleges that she did some untoward non-consensual stuff with him. The girl alleges she was incapacitated. It was raped. This is after the fact, after she'd already admitted that it wasn't in writing, in text messages. And then you have reports from the girl during the act, during the supposed it violent assault in which he's saying like, hmm, I'm kind of hungry. Yeah, do, oh, you want,
Starting point is 00:05:31 no, I don't need to get Uber. I don't need Uber eats. I know, it's okay. Hey, you coming home tonight? I don't know. I've just blown my fifth line of ketamine and I'm, you know what, I'll, I'll take away the blue jokes here. I don't want to make too light. There are a lot of puns and double entendre you can make. The girl seems to be completely in control of her faculties during this whole thing. And at no point during or for a week afterward does she at all suggest that she was coerced into anything that she was beyond the capacity to give consent. And all the boys' lives are still ruined and this girl is being framed as a victim and a hero. So, young men, don't get into the prurient details. Just know. The system is totally stacked against you.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Take a moral lesson from this, which is there is a real practical reason to avoid this kind of behavior. There's the moral reason, which is that this is all gross and wrong. Even if it's consensual, it's disgusting, it's wrong, it's wrong, it's depraved, it will make your life worse, it's wrong to other people, it's wrong to yourself. But just at a very practical level, your life will be ruined for even the appearance of the sign of a hint of an iota of a possibility of impropriety. Your life will be ruined. In this case, the woman, the young woman was basically holding a sign the whole time saying everything here is consensual. The guys were getting that liberal fashion of affirmative consent, you know, midway through the romantic encounter. Do you still
Starting point is 00:07:01 consent? I do still consent to this. Yes, let me sign an affidavit here. Let me sign a permission slip. South Park did a whole parody of this with PC principle going around the frat house getting consent forms midway through every sexual act. She did that. This actually happened. And the guys' lives will still be ruined. The big mistake the guys made here, the huge mistake, was they believed the liberal morality. They believed feminism. I think there are a lot of guys in the hookup culture who really buy the feminist line that women relate to sex in the same way that men do, and men and women are exactly the same. And they'll be treated exactly the same way by the law and by the rules of the school. And they should be treated. They actually buy into that.
Starting point is 00:07:42 In many ways, they're like, they're good little boys, you know, following the catechism of modern liberalism and feminism, and they get totally nailed for it. And by the objective moral standard, they should. They should face social consequences, if not legal consequences. But it is such a double standard. Fellas, keep it buttoned up. You know what? It's hip to be square. Go back, live by 50s morality. I'm not talking 1950s. I'm talking 1850s. I'm talking 1350s morality, okay? Because I don't care if you prove your innocence until you're blue in the face. Your life will be ruined. Okay. Now let's move from Cornell to Albany and to Manhattan. There are many Republicans who are saying that we have a chance, even in a tough midterm year, to take back New York.
Starting point is 00:08:35 And this is based on some polling that CNN is breathlessly releasing. Democrats are hemorrhaging support in very specific quarters in New York. We'll get to that in one second. First, I want to tell you by Cardiff. there's a lot more to say first they'll go to cardiff.c.co slash knolls knaw l-e-s. I have very little patience for things that take longer than they should standing in line when there are six empty registers calling customer service spending 20 minutes explaining to a robot that I want to speak to a human being or filling out a form online only to discover that the next step is filling out another form. Okay, I got a lot of a lot of hurdles to get through especially when you were trying to run a business. Okay, you need to hire somebody, buy equipment, stock inventory, and the bank
Starting point is 00:09:15 wants you to spend the next several weeks navigating paperwork before they'll even give you an answer. That is why Cardiff makes a lot of sense. Cardiff has helped American businesses access more than $12 billion in funding over the past two decades. Their online application takes about three minutes. There's no impact to your personal credit to view your offers, and qualified businesses can access up to $500,000 in same-day funding. Approval is in minutes funding the same day. If you've been in business for at least a year and generate over $20,000 a month in revenue, go to cardiff.com. C-S.com. slash Knowles, Knaw L-A-S.
Starting point is 00:09:46 That is cardiff. dot CO-Nol's, KnaW-E-S, Real Growth, Fast Funding, Cardiff, borrow better. Harry Enton, CNN Polster, comes out, says Democrats are hemorrhaging support specifically among Jewish voters,
Starting point is 00:10:03 which in most municipalities doesn't matter because there just aren't that many Jews in most places. There aren't that many Jews in the world. But in this state, in this city, we sometimes call it Jew York. Okay, this is a very Jewish. place. And so if the Democrats are losing support among Jews, by golly, they might lose the whole
Starting point is 00:10:19 state. I mean, this is a huge trend. And this is average across the other. This is Sienna polling, New York Gov races, Jewish voters. You know, Andrew Cuomo was leading amongst them by 55 points back in 2018. In 2022, look at this. Kathy Hokel by 51. Look at this lead now. Look at this lead now. Yes, Kathy Hokel's head, but she's only ahead by 13 points. We're talking about a swing here, Johnny B of what? 38 points downward towards the Republicans when it comes to Jewish voters. So it definitely seems to me that the developments over the past few years, at least in New York State, have had a tremendous impact on how Jewish voters say that they're going to vote in the governor's race here in New York. And it's not just the governor's race. It is not just
Starting point is 00:11:02 the governor's race. I mean, take a look. Okay, take a look at your generic ballot, right? State of New York, U.S. Householding among Jewish voters. Look at this. In 2018, Democrats were ahead by 40 points. In 2022, 49 points. Look at this. The average polls this year, it's just 13 points. It's just 13 points. That is a shift of what? 36 points, 36 points away from the Democrats. Their lead is absolutely tumbled into the Hudson River among Jewish voters. Yes, they are still ahead, but we are talking about historically strong numbers for Republicans. Okay, so this is great news for Republicans, isn't it? We're talking about New York. New York is a very, very Jewish place. Democrats are losing 36 points among Jews throughout the state. Kathy Hockel is tumbling among Jews. And yet,
Starting point is 00:11:47 the Democrats are still winning Jewish voters. So at this point, I think you would have to conclude Jews for Democrats are no different from queers for Palestine. Because Democrats hate Jews. This is why Josh Shapiro could not be picked for vice president for the running mate for Kamala Harris. This is why he won't be the nominee in 2028. You are seeing very, very pronounced anti-Semitism on the left. It's cropped up on the right, too. Support for the state of Israel has tumbled, especially among Republicans under the age of 50. Nowhere near as much as support for Israel has tumbled among Democrats. Beyond the mere Israel issue, you look at outright anti-Semitism. It's cropped up a little bit on the right. There's no denying it. Nowhere near the sort of thing that you've seen
Starting point is 00:12:35 from the left. Nowhere near what you've seen from the Democrats. So then you look at this and you say, okay, how is it that Democrats still have 13% support among Jews in New York? How is that possible? Because they're very conservative Jews. They're conservative Jews. They're Orthodox Jews, Habat-Labovych Jews, who are pretty right-wing. And actually, probably more right-wing than your average Republican or ordinary American conservative. The problem is, though, most Jews are kind of reform Jews, Jew booze, as we call them, you know, the kind of second.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Jews who practice some vague version of Buddhism. Within the Jewish tradition, there is a big strain of liberalism. And so you kind of see why Jewish voters are attracted to the Democrat Party. The problem is the Democrats now just hate Jews. And so if Jewish voters have to choose between their ideological preferences on the one hand and people who don't explicitly hate them, on the other hand. It seems to me they should choose the latter group. You are seeing that show up in the polling in a pronounced way, but not enough. But not enough. So our pals over at Calshee have this question. Who is going to win the New York governor race? Is it going to be Kathy Hochle or Bruce Blakeman? Right now, Calci has 93.9% chance. It's going to be Hockel. It's going to be the Democrats,
Starting point is 00:14:01 6.1% chance Bruce Blakeman. The gubernatorial candidates faced off last night. Here is just a little hint of that debate because Blakeman did very, very well. Hokel, I thought, did pretty bad. Here's a killer line for Blakeman. Respond for me and you haven't heard. U.S. News and World Report says I have the safest county in America. So I back law enforcement and I back the laws of both our federal government and our state government. And I give our law enforcement professionals the tools they need to keep us safe. But you say you spent $4 billion on law enforcement. Well, you spend $8 billion. dollars on illegal migrants and gave them more benefits than New Yorkers get.
Starting point is 00:14:43 How does that make any sense? Great line. He's going for a big issue that unites the left and the right, pulls over a lot of Democrats, which is mass migration, which is welfare for migrants, immigration fraud. He says, yeah, you're touting. You're trying to run away from your bad record on law enforcement. Now, you say you gave $4 billion to law enforcement, you gave double that to migrants. That's great. On top of that, the Dems have turned on the Jews. New York is very, very, Jewish, the Jewish support for Democrats has collapsed. This is it. Okay, maybe the Democrats are going to win that Texas Senate race. Maybe they're going to win the Michigan Senate race. Maybe,
Starting point is 00:15:18 but you know what? Could you imagine if the Republicans flip New York? Forget about Kalshi for a second. Just look at the actual public opinion polls. Marist, 53 to 42. Kathy Hokel. Emerson, 52 to 40. Hokel. These are some of the best numbers that the Republicans have so far. It's still 11, 12 point race. Look, I was a New York Republican for most of my life. Yeah, for most of my life. Get out there, vote, do your best. Knock on doors.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Vote early. Vote off and do that. I think it's cope, guys. I think it's cope. I think people don't want to look at how tight the Texas Senate races, how tight the Michigan Senate races, how tight the Ohio Senate races, how tight the Ohio governor races.
Starting point is 00:16:02 So they say, you know what? Okay, maybe we're going to lose all of these races by a hair, but maybe we'll pull a major up. upset in New York, I would not bet a lot of money on that at all. All the more reason to get out to vote, to get all your friends to get out there and vote people who are a little bit. I don't know, disappointed that the Republicans didn't fix all their problems overnight. Hey, guys, you're about to get Senator Abdul al-Sayyad, Mohammed, as Trump calls him. You're going to get Senator James Talafrico. You're going to get almost certainly going to get Kathy Hokel in New York. Now, speaking of
Starting point is 00:16:38 cities. Let's just turn to a cultural issue for a second. There's another strange and worrisome phenomenon going on, which is that families are completely disappearing from American cities. Families generally tend to live in the countryside or in the suburbs, more single people in the cities, but the problem is getting much, much worse. Families are evaporating from the cities. Why is that? We got this new report out. This is from the Institute for Family Studies, being reported by the New York Post. Marriage data reveals traditional nuclear families disappearing across the U.S. with a rate of just 13% in one major city.
Starting point is 00:17:15 These are marriage deserts. So on the one hand, you have marriage deserts, and in some places you have marriage gardens. And people are trying to figure out what is causing this. So the main thing they want to point to is economic factors. They say, well, it's because of affordability. It's because people aren't making enough money. It's because wages aren't rising quickly enough. one of the driest marriage deserts in the country is lower Manhattan.
Starting point is 00:17:39 I used to live in Lower Manhattan. Lower Manhattan is one of the wealthiest, best-educated places in the entire United States. So, yeah, it's been a very long time since you've had a lot of families in Lower Manhattan. But why is the problem getting worse there? Lower Manhattan is richer than many other parts of Manhattan, better educated than many other parts of Manhattan. It does worse when it comes to families than many many. other parts of Manhattan. Why is that? You can't explain it by income. You can't explain it by education. A part that is a little less politically correct that people don't want to talk about is
Starting point is 00:18:13 race and ethnicity. Some racial groups are more likely to get married, have children, and crucially have children within the context of marriage than other groups. According to CDC data, non-marital birth percentages for Asian mothers, it's 11 to 12%. Asians do not have kids out of wedlock. Non-Hispanic whites, 26%. So they're much more likely to have kids out of wedlock, but still, it's pretty low. Hispanic mothers, 54%. Most Hispanics who have kids are having kids out of wedlock.
Starting point is 00:18:48 And then black Americans, almost 70%, almost 69% of black mothers who have kids do so out of wedlock. So that's why. It shouldn't be a huge surprise that where you have different racial groups cluster in neighborhoods, and people do kind of naturally sort that way, you're going to see the nuclear family disappearing. Big problem. And if you try to pretend that there's no racial or ethnic component to this, you're simply not going to solve the problem. You're going to double down on pathologies, especially within black communities, also within Hispanic communities,
Starting point is 00:19:20 which have exploded in recent years because of mass illegal migration. A little bit of a problem with whites, not really much of a problem with Asians. even when you control for education. You say, okay, well, maybe that's true, but that's because they're lower college education rates among black people or risk banks. Even when you control for education, the out-of-wedlock births persist. So you have to deal with the racial and ethnic issue for the good of the people in those demographics and also for the broader national problem. But the biggest driver, you know what the biggest, it's not race. It's not ethnicity. It's certainly not economics.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Those are nice, easy answers. The biggest driver of out-of-wedlock births on top of the collapse in the marriage rate, on top of especially the collapse in the birth rate, it's the decline in religiosity. That's it. It's not money. It's a little bit more pronounced when it comes to race and ethnicity. It's religion. When you control for age, education, race, church-going Americans are 39% more likely to get married. Do you want the guaranteed way, the basically guaranteed way to increase the marriage rate in the country, encourage people going to church. Women who attend services, any kind of religious services weekly, have fertility rates around 2.1 children per woman. That is replacement rate. We haven't been above replacement rate since the early 1970s. The birth rate for women who do not go to church every week, 1.3. So you have a 62% higher birth rate among women who go to church every week. So a lot of conservatives can get on board with this. They could say, okay, well, you know, we really got this problem in our churches. We got this
Starting point is 00:21:03 problem in our culture. We need to go out there and convince our fellow Americans to go to church. And yeah, that's true. But where they're going to get a little squishier is when it comes to the government. Because the decline in religiosity did not happen in a vacuum. It was not politics downstream of culture. The decline in religiosity was an intentional program that came about as a result of the strong arm of the state, actions by the government. It took the government to come in and say Bible out of schools. There was no cultural surge to remove the Bible from schools through the little platoons of the civil society. It was the government that came in and said, if you teach the Bible in schools, you're going to jail. And so guess what? People stopped reading the
Starting point is 00:21:49 Bible in schools. And guess what people got less religious? It was the government that came in and said, you can't pray in schools. It was the government that came in and said, you can't have your nativity scenes in the town square. It was the government that came in and forced secularism on the country. And now we're about to not have a country. Because the reason this is of real political import is not just because we support family values and, you know, I prefer this family arrangement, but the liberals prefer some other family arrangement and, you know, who's to say, de gusty bus non-dispotan de mess, don't yuck my yum. The family is the basic unit of politics.
Starting point is 00:22:22 If you wanted to break down politics into component parts, there are all sorts of elements, the state government, the federal government, and the role of the relation of the corporations to the state and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The basic unit, the atomic unit is the family. So the family becomes a political problem. the libs want to tell us that their families are none of our business and keep your noses out of people's bedrooms and how does it affect you and the family is the unit of politics. So to say that the nuclear family is disappearing from American cities is my problem.
Starting point is 00:22:54 And it's your problem too. It's a major national problem. And the crazy thing is we know the answer. Yes, can we rejigger the economy in such a way that it doesn't incentivize single motherhood and it does incentivize families? Yeah, the vice president did an excellent job the other day, and this came ultimately through the president from the White House officially, to rejigger some welfare programs to stop incentivizing bad behaviors, start incentivizing good behavior. Yeah, you could do that. You should do that. Yeah, there are economic reforms you can make. Yeah, there are racial policies that you can focus on to stop incentivizing pathologies among black and Hispanic communities and encourage better behaviors that are more conducive to their flourishing. Yeah, you could do that. But it is, we know what. We know what. what to do. Promote religion. If the government goes back to at least not suppressing religion, not sending jackbooted thugs to spy on our churches, not having the White House, as it did under Joe Biden, calling Christians terrorists, if it just goes back to that to not suppressing religion, and I would say go further toward encouraging religious behavior following John Adams, who says the Constitution requires a religious people. In other words, this is not authoritarian,
Starting point is 00:24:04 fascist, you know, theocratic stuff. This is like going back to John Adams, going back to the framers of our Constitution, the early, early, early
Starting point is 00:24:13 republic to say, okay, if the Constitution requires a religious people, then the state has to promote religion. We can do that. But the left is going to fight tooth
Starting point is 00:24:22 and nail to stop it. We have half a century at least of bad jurisprudence. It's going to make it difficult. And we got a bunch of squish conservatives
Starting point is 00:24:29 who won't do it. Because there are people now, you know, I love you, I love you out there, even the ones who are a little more liberal
Starting point is 00:24:34 wishy, but you're going to say, well, I don't want to live in some authoritarian country. I don't think we should be teaching the Bible in schools. Okay, well, then you're not going to have families anymore. Okay, you're not going to have a country anymore. If you are too afraid of violating the sacred norms of like early 90s American culture, not 1790s, 1990s, if that to you is the perennial, eternal conservative tradition to preserve 90s liberalism, then you're not going to have families and you're not going to have a country and there's nothing I can do. And frankly, it's easier for me to deal with the leftists than it is to deal with those squishes. Okay. Speaking of family problems and New York actually, this is the Wall Street Journal,
Starting point is 00:25:17 we're getting more details on the Ilhan Omar scandal and our predictions seem to have been correct. Before we get to that, I want to tell you about GOP votes. There's a lot more to say first, though, go to GOPvotes.org. The Democratic Socialists of America won primaries across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress and they're coming for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen the border, force men into women's sports. You are the last line of defense. And gopvotes.org is your partner in the fight. Go to gopvotes.org right now, make a plan to vote early.
Starting point is 00:25:48 If you live in the critical Senate battleground states of Maine, Ohio, or Iowa, early voting is already underway this week. Democrats are energized. The stakes have never been higher. We cannot afford to have people like AOC and her communist cronies running the show. That is why I need you to make a plan. to vote early right now. Go to GOPvotes.org to find your polling location. Vote early. Stop the Socialist Takeover of America. Paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidates committee. Ilhan Omar investigation aims to build case for stripping her citizenship. This is the reporting from
Starting point is 00:26:20 the Wall Street Journal. We've suspected that for a while. Initially, a lot of people thought it was maybe just investigating her because of some issues with her brother, her brother-husband, that it wasn't really going to go after Elhan, or maybe they'd slap her with a little fine, or maybe they'd try to remove her from Congress, but there's no way they're going to kick her out of the country. No, the reporting we have here. Authorities have subpoenaed members of the Democratic Congresswoman's family as part of a broader look at their immigration paperwork. The Trump administration's investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar is aimed at building a case to strip her of her U.S. citizenship and ultimately deport her, according to U.S. officials and other people familiar
Starting point is 00:26:56 with the probe. This because when she got her citizenship. It looks like her father lied about her age so that she would be eligible to come in as a minor, which made it easier for her to get citizenship. Now, we're past the statute of limitations on that, but because she's used the false birth date a number of times, allegedly, including right after she got elected to Congress, her staff going in and changing birth records, because of that, that resets the statute of limitations. This could happen. The upshot is the Trump administration could, not even just the Trump administration, a federal judge and the DOJ and broader parts of the government could remove Ilhan Omar from the country. Why not? What's the downside? Right now,
Starting point is 00:27:46 I hope I'm proven wrong. I hope that people go out there and they vote and they convince their friends to vote. But right now it looks like we're almost certainly going to lose the House, very likely going to lose the Senate, going to lose some governorships that maybe we should win. things are looking pretty dire. So right now we have essentially a one-month window to really go pedal to the metal, and then we'll have, what, three months before the Democrats are sworn in and take some power back and try to subpoena Trump and try to destroy him. If you're worried about standards and norms and, you know, raising the temperature in the country,
Starting point is 00:28:18 you're out of your mind. The Democrats are going to try to impeach Trump. They're going to try to imprison every single person who's anywhere around Trump. they're going to wield power in deeply unjust ways. This is not a hypothetical. They did it under Joe Biden. They spied on churches. They called parents and Christians terrorists.
Starting point is 00:28:34 They tried to kick Trump off the ballot. They tried to imprison him four times. They justified his assassination multiple times. On top of that, the leftists, you will recall, murdered the most prominent conservative activist and most effective conservative organizer in the country. and then huge swathes of the mainstream American left justified it. There is no, let's lower the temperature here. You win by winning.
Starting point is 00:29:03 You don't win by losing. There was a big divide on the right. You saw it really first come out during the never-trump fight. You had these conservatives who they said, okay, Trump's a nominee. We're going to vote for Trump. We'll see how it turns out. You had these never-trumpers who say, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:29:17 The way that we win is by electing Hillary Clinton, because then people will see how bad her policy. are and then we'll win that we'll go get them next time. Jeb, Jeb 2020, we'll get them next time. And their argument was you win by losing. You lose this time, then people realize they wake up and they see how bad things are and then the pendulum will swing back. We'll give it to you next time. No, you win by winning. There is no political downside to deporting Ilhan Omar. It is totally just by all the evidence that we have. She is an absolute political cancer in the country. she is emblematic of a broader political cancer,
Starting point is 00:29:52 and the way you win is by wielding power to contain the disease. Looks like that's what the DOJ is doing. Looks like that's what federal judges are permitting. Let's do it. Absolutely love it. It's all the Democrats. Did you see this woman? She's running for not for Senate, not for Congress, not for governor.
Starting point is 00:30:10 She's running for the Fayetteville County Council in Indiana. And she shows up to a local news sit down it looks like she's loaded. She's had a few drinks. She might just be kind of crazy, though. It's difficult to tell if the Democrat politicians are drunk, high, or just deranged. Here is just a little taste of her pitch to voters. And that's what I have to say about that. Okay. And our last question of the night is, if elected, what is one decision that you expect to make that may be unpopular with some voters, but you believe ultimately would be in the the best interest of Fayette County. I wouldn't raise your taxes. What is the one
Starting point is 00:30:58 decision that I would make? Hmm, repeat that again. What is the one decision that I would make that might not be popular for Fayette County? Right, that may be unpopular with some voters, but is in the best interest of the county. Mm-hmm. Firing all Republicans. I wouldn't let them, I mean, I don't even talk to them. I don't like them. I mean, voted against our own state representative voted against her own party. I mean, what do you want me to say? I don't like being around them. I mean, y'all did this to us.
Starting point is 00:31:40 You all voted for us. You made this happen, this ice coming into our communities, stealing people's jobs. I mean, ugh. I don't like them. I don't like them. You want me? I don't like them.
Starting point is 00:32:00 What am I going to do if I get elected? I'm going to not be a Republican. I'm going to get a lot of this. This is a preview of Thanksgiving. For those of you who have particularly eccentric liberal aunts and cousins and et cetera, this is your Thanksgiving dinner, except in this case, this woman might become a local legislator. And you know what? Everybody's making fun of her.
Starting point is 00:32:28 everybody's going after her. This is like the most moderate Democrat in the country. I don't know if she was actually drunk. She might just be a local politician. I don't know. It's kind of hard to tell. She might just be politically deranged. She's very moderate.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Other than John Federman, this is the most moderate Democrat in the country. Not even joking. How does she open up? She goes, well, I don't know. I'm not going to raise your taxes. Okay, well, boom, right off the bat. More moderate than 99.9.9% of Democrats.
Starting point is 00:32:56 She goes, you know what I would do? I'd fire all the Republicans. Republicans. Okay. Well, the other Democrats say that they're going to prosecute in prison and murder Republicans. So fire them? That's pretty, I don't know, that's pretty tame. That's pretty moderate. She says, I don't like the Republicans. It's better than the Republicans are Nazis. Better than the Republicans are hateful, genocidal, totalitarian existential threats to democracy, like Joe Biden said. It's funny. They're looking at this and everyone's kind of just having a little laugh about it. The really dark thing about this clip is that this woman legitimately is one of the most
Starting point is 00:33:40 reasonable Democrats running for office. You know what I didn't hear her say in her possibly drunken speech incursive? You know what I didn't hear her say? I didn't hear her say that God is non-binary. I didn't hear her in both the Blessed Virgin Mary to defend abortion like James Tellerico does in Texas. I didn't hear her say that the state of Israel is a greater threat to America than Iran, as Abdul al-Sayyad basically said. I didn't hear her say that men are no longer going to have due process of law like Kathy Hokel saying in New York. It is crazy, man, but that's it. If you, gun to my head, as the Democrats could easily do, gun to my head, you have to vote for one Democrat in the country. I'm voting for this lady, Jamie West. I'm not endorsing her because I assume she has a
Starting point is 00:34:24 Republican opponent, but her or Abdul, her or Tala Rico, her or any of these, Troy Jackson, I'm with Jamie. I'm a Jamie Republican. Okay, speaking of moderates, the DOJ is going after major news networks over anti-trust violations because of a big fight over the White House briefing room and access from the establishment media. I think Republicans are going super squishy on this. Before we get to that, you may have been admiring this beautiful smoking jacket. The smoking jacket pre-orders close today. This is your last chance to secure your Mayflower smoking jacket tailored by Shepard's menswear.
Starting point is 00:35:04 People complain every year. Oh, no, we've run out of material or the window closed. This is a made-to-measure smoking jacket. It's a real smoking jacket. I'm wearing the Noel green, the Christmas green today. There are four colors you can choose from, but after today you will not be able to order. If you want a real smoking jacket, not costume,
Starting point is 00:35:20 with fabric from Como, Italy, best mail out there for the velvet, beautiful Benberg lining, real functional button holes with the horn button, a nice double-breasted functional jacket because the velvet keeps the ash
Starting point is 00:35:32 and the smoke off your clothing. If you want it, you're never going to see a price like this anywhere. I am not, this is my early Christmas gift to you. My favorite comment yesterday is from Helena, who says, imagine coming into a country illegally
Starting point is 00:35:44 and then being in Congress and running the government. Yeah, it just shows you how dire the political situation is. And people are being really blase about everything. They say, oh, well, Trump didn't deport as many people as I wanted. Oh, well, you know, I don't really like this military action. Well, you know, it's just the inflation hasn't fallen enough. And so many. They got, they got Somalis, Somali fraudster scammer,
Starting point is 00:36:09 marry their brother people in Congress. They're running on transing your kids, killing all the babies, obliterating national sovereignty. That's where we're at. If you're feeling, I don't know, a little disillusion, disappointed, I'm not going to show up to vote. I don't know what to tell you, man.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Democracy is the theory that the common man knows what he wants and deserves to get it good and hard. So here's a little reported on story that's driving me up a wall. The story is this. Trump booted a bunch of lib journalists out of the White House.
Starting point is 00:36:45 People from CNN, I think, NBC was in there. He boots him out of the White House. Their coverage is bad. They're kind of crazy. And so he boots them out. Then all the liberal networks, plus some of the conservative networks, decide they're going to boycott the briefing room. They're going to boycott covering President Trump's events until Trump lets them back in. So solidarity among the journalists. And now the judges are intervening. It should be the case that, you know, the journalists have no constitutional right to access the White House or proximity to the president. But there was a stupid ruling in the 1970s that said that the president doesn't need to grant access to journalists,
Starting point is 00:37:24 but if he does, he can't discriminate based on viewpoint, even though lots of presidents do. Barack Obama did it. Joe Biden did it. And so anyway, they're forcing them the libs back in there. Well, now the DOJ is striking back after that ruling. And the DOJ is going after all these news networks over antitrust violations because they cut coverage after the CNN booting. And we'll see how this all plays out.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Right now, this focuses on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and Fox. New York Times is reporting that the DOJ ordered those networks to hand over communications to make sure that they weren't collaborating together. But I know that there are moderate, nice establishment clubbable conservatives who say, well, you know, that's fine. That's a little beyond the pale. It's a little authoritarian for the Trump White House to kick CNN out. You know, you can't really do that, and we need to have a strong fourth estate.
Starting point is 00:38:13 And this is why we can't have nice things. this is why we can't have nice things. This ties right back to the first story we're talking about, second story we're talking about, look, we know what has destroyed the American family. It's not complicated. It doesn't take a Ph.D. To figure it out.
Starting point is 00:38:27 It's the decline in religion. That's the reliable driver. So if you want stronger families, you have to promote religion or really stop suppressing religion. That's it. Are you willing to do it? And the liberals say no,
Starting point is 00:38:37 and a lot of conservatives say no. Okay, well, that's why we can't have families. That's it. Because you're afraid of being called an authoritarian for adhering to views that liberals held 30 years ago. You think that's going to, that makes you Mussolini, so you're not going to do it. Okay, that's why we can't have nice things. Same thing here.
Starting point is 00:38:53 How many decades have the conservative spent decrying the perfidy of the establishment media? Saying that the press are the enemy of the people, that they lie through their teeth, they delude the public, they are the cause of basically all of our woes. But then the minute Trump says, okay, some CNN reporter, you're not allowed to be in the White House anymore. They say, no, no, no, we can't do that. No, no, yeah, I know. I agree. The press, they're the worst people on earth.
Starting point is 00:39:22 They're absolutely the scum. They're worse than Hitler. They're devastating. They're the big cause of the decline of our country. But we can't kick one of them out of the briefing room. Oh, okay. So what do you want? You just want to complain?
Starting point is 00:39:34 I guess that's what you want. All you want to do is complain. You want to lose and complain. And actually, when you lose, you kind of win because you get something new to complain about. and then the libs are going to run the country off a cliff. That's it. Because I think it's, I'm being a little tough on the conservatives here, but good, I should be. The conservatives, even if they have a basic clarity of vision sometimes, very often conservatives don't have the courage of their convictions.
Starting point is 00:40:03 This, I think, is why libertarian slogans sometimes appeal to conservatives is because it's an excuse to issue responsibility. if we say, well, I don't want the government to do anything. I want the government to get out of every difficult decision. I want the government to completely absolve itself of any substantive reasoning. Okay. Why? Because you don't want responsibility. If you go in there and you say, you know what, the government needs to have a firm definition of marriage. And it's got to exclude things that are non-marriage, like homosexual unions. Yeah, the government needs to go in and the government needs to say that some behaviors are better than other behaviors, and we're going to incentivize the good behaviors and punish the bad behaviors. Yeah, the government needs to deport all the illegals, including
Starting point is 00:40:51 abuela. Yeah, the government needs to go in, when we say that, and then the libertarian-type conservatives, or the conservatives using a libertarian slogan, they say, well, hold on, I don't want, I just want the government out of everything. It's a way to say, well, I don't want to have to decide. But self-government is about deciding. when this is what the kind of squishy types say they say well who decides you know what is good or what is bad i said well uh somebody somebody does we have a you know we have a self-government right you know that's what the framers gave us we have this republic where there are certain guardrails from the constitution there's checks and balances but also there's a great deliberative aspect
Starting point is 00:41:28 for the demas to say this is good and this is bad and we want more good and we want less bad they don't want to do that so okay i mean even down to you're not willing to kick some CNN reporter out of the White House. Okay, you're not willing to do anything then. So the problem is chiefly the left. The problem is chiefly the, I don't know, the radicals and the Marxists and the, sure, but just below them, the responsibility lies with the Swiss Conservatives who won't do anything about it. Sorry, ain't going to see me. I was on a debate with Chris Cuomo on his show over this issue. I was on, we're, debating Trump kicking the journalist out of the White House. He said, Michael, you're a journalist.
Starting point is 00:42:12 I said, I guess arguably that's true. I'm a cigar salesman. I'm like, okay, yeah, I guess arguably I'm a journalist. You don't have solidarity with your fellow journalists over at CNN? No, not at all. I don't. Not at all. I have solidarity with the people who want to make America better, and I have very little in common with the people who want to make America worse, and I want to help the people who want to make America better, and I want to suppress the people who want make America worse. Call me Francisco Franco. I think I'm basically just like a normal person from 1988. But okay, that's fine. Speaking of the media, very exciting news. Mr. Benjamin Shapiro has written a movie that is like a Hollywood blockbuster. This thing is called Confession. It's a movie
