Those animals worked alongside the humans and created an ecosystem that benefited all species, until one species decided it was time to change the rules. A new term was born.
Starting point is 00:01:24 That term being... Chimp out. You know me, I'm real hip and cool with all the new slang. Well, apparently there's a new term, chimp out. And there are all these videos and posts on social media that show chimping out. That's the verb. Just a ton of chimping out everywhere, all over the place. In America, outside of America.
Starting point is 00:02:05 And so I told the producers, I said, look, I don't really know anything about this, but it's a social media trend. and we got to be on it. You know, we're on the culture. We're hip, we're cool guys. How do you do, fellow kids? What? So I want you to get me all the most shocking, wild, hilarious, dramatic videos of chimpouts anywhere in the world.
Starting point is 00:02:30 I have not seen these chimp outs yet, but the producers tell me this is absolute peak chimping. take it away. It's so cute. You know, I wouldn't do this because I've, like I would never play around with a monkey or take a monkey into my home or something. Because they're really, really cute until they rip your face off. Remember they, there was some like chimps or whatever, these women would take them into their homes and they'd rip their faces off. You know, I was in India once and I said monkeys just run through the streets in India. And I was in India a couple times actually.
Starting point is 00:03:21 And so you don't want to get too close to it, but they are cute from far away. That was some great chimping. Okay, what's the next one? Oh, yeah, he is chimpin. Is he a chimp? No, he's a gorilla. Professor, is that a chimp or is that a, what kind of monkey is that? Chimp.
Starting point is 00:03:44 It's a chimp or it's an ape or it's a gorilla. I don't really know the difference. It is a chimpy chimpancy. What were the first ones? They were small, feeble chimps. Do you not, you don't know, you just, they're all the same to you. Monkey is monkey.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Next one. That's crazy. Now that's a gorilla, right? I'm a gorilla in a school. But he is chimping out. There's no question about it. That is scary, man. I would not, even though there's the glass there, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:32 That chimp, that gorilla could do me dirty. Okay, next one. Hold on. If you don't want people to know about all the chimp out videos you're watching online, you probably need to check out our sponsor, ExpressVPN. Go to ExpressVPN.com slash Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L, letter-Y, letter T. ExpressVPN is basically like a shield for your internet activity. Everything gets sent through encrypted servers so that no one can see what you're doing online.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Not even your internet provider, not data brokers, not government agencies. One thing that really impressed me, last year, ExpressVPN got over 400,000 requests from customer data for customer data from tech companies and government agencies. Guess how many times they handed over those data? Zero. They actually can't hand over those data because they have a zero logs policy.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Best part, it's extremely easy to use. I'm a little bit of a Luddite myself. And when I power up my phone, my tablet, my computer, my anything, boom, one button, done, you're protected. You can protect up to 14 devices at once your whole family gets protection. I love it. I've used ExpressVPN for something like eight years.
Starting point is 00:05:38 if you want the very, very best in protection. Go to ExpressVPN, get four months free by skimming the QR code on screen, clicking the link in the description box below. We're going to ExpressVPN.com slash Michael Letter, Y, letter T. Is he trying to steal her purse? Where is that? Yeah, because there's some countries. There's just monkeys running around the street.
Starting point is 00:06:06 It's kind of crazy that he wanted to steal the purse, though. What's he going to do with that lady's purse? You know what I wonder? I wonder if he thinks that the purse has cigarettes in it, like all those cute monkeys when they're smoking cigarettes. You ever see those? It's kind of cute. You feel bad for them
Starting point is 00:06:22 because it's probably bad for their lungs, but it's kind of cute. Okay, next one. I was about to say, I thought the monkey was going to steal the crystal, in which case I would very much be on the monkey's side. No, he just wanted to look up her, upper skirt. It should have been me, not him.
Starting point is 00:06:57 And I'm not, I'm not, I don't encourage that, but I get it. I get it. I get, because monkeys, they have traits that seem kind of like primitive humans sometimes. I wouldn't encourage it, But it's kind of funny. That's one of the reasons we like seeing him chimp.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Okay, next one. It was such a slow burn. It was like it didn't. It's not like it was right away and he was just a very slow trip and then it hurt his gullions. And then he blamed, he should blame her. I wouldn't call that a chimp out though. That was more considered. That seemed more contemplative, pensive.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And it was justified, I think. Next one. Wow, that could be my favorite chimp out of the whole bunch. I guess, no, here's my problem. The first one where it's the little baby chimps drinking the milk, that's my favorite. It's the sweetest. It's the cutest.
Starting point is 00:08:26 But it's not a chimp out, is it? Doesn't there need to be violence or aggression to, like, really be chimping out? I don't know. This is a new term. And so, look, I'm just doing my best to be. hip and cool with the culture. Okay. And I think we did it. Professor Jacob, did we cover it? Have we covered all the chimp outs? Hello? Hello? I'm going to chimp out if he doesn't get on that microphone. Okay. All right. There we go. That's the show. See you next time.
