Which actor's final role famously involved wearing a Native American headdress mocking indigenous culture and heritage in a raunchy politically incorrect comedy. Michael Knowles or D. All the Above. I forgot I did that movie.
Starting point is 00:02:46 I think we have a photo of it. It's like, wow, do we? Wait, what do you call my final acting role? I'm leaving you in the dust and I'm going to go work for Dallas. Run, hide, fight, infinite. is out now and so is the weeping and gnashing of teeth from liberal reviewers. Given the current discussion dominating social media, we brought together two men who are no strangers to controversy to discuss the most controversial movies in Hollywood history.
Starting point is 00:03:10 In one corner, the man responsible for PTND, post-traumatic Nick disorder after what happened to Deputy Nick in Bone Tomahawk, Dallistone. And in the other Michael Knowles, who once called a self-described retarded girl Swedish. This is face off controversial movies. Thanks for having me on my own show, Ben. It's always nice to be here with me. And it's wonderful to be joined on screen by the greatest living maestro of on-screen violence, Dallas Soniae, who I believe, I know we're a little crunched for time here because Dallas, you're already, you got the movie coming out right now. And then you're already on set for the next movie. Is that right?
Starting point is 00:03:54 It's great. We're rolling them out and knocking them down. I mean, it is awesome. We're already on the next crazy movie that only Daily Wire could make, and I can't wait for people to see it. So now, of all the film projects you've done for Daily Wire since you've been here going back like six years now, I can't help but notice that not even one time have I had a cameo getting disemboweled by so. But that's okay. I'm not complaining. It's your fault. You keep passing. Yeah, now I regret it.
Starting point is 00:04:25 All right. Maybe the next one. I want to get beheaded or something like that. Okay. We would love to have you in a daily wire movie. All kidding aside, like we're dead serious. You have to put your acting hat back on and get back in the game. I'm almost dusky enough to have played a jihadi in the last one.
Starting point is 00:04:42 But I'll look at the scripts where the movies coming up. Ben, what is the topic? That is such a miss. You with a beard, like a terrorist would have been so... That would have been all the publicity we needed. Oh my gosh, that'd be great. Well, we are going to cover the most controversial movies, which actually you doing the beer thing might have actually made the list. But these are some of the best ones from history.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Gentlemen, are you ready? I'm ready. All right. In the film The Conqueror, which white American actor was infamously cast as Gangus Khan, was it A, Marlon Brando, B, Clint Eastwood, B, Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Kurt Douglas. Who played Gangus Con? All right, what do you got, Michael? I just choose to believe it was Marlon Brando, but I don't... Ah, darn!
Starting point is 00:05:36 Darn! Look at that great. That's awesome. I love that. There he is. Let's show it. We got your man, John Wayne. I love that.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Look at that. If you're ever in Fort Worth, you have to go to the John Wayne experience. It is the best museum I've ever been to. That is great. What was the one that Lawrence Olivier? Didn't he play some crazy era? something? The Mad Monty? Was that, was that? I think it was Lawrence Olivier, right? Anyway, let's not get into too many because they might pop up there. They might pop up. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Dow's in the lead. Number two, which 1976 film about the birth of Islam became the subject of a real life hostage crisis when Hanafi Muslim gunmen seized buildings in Washington, D.C., and demanded that the movie be withdrawn from theaters? Was the movie A, Lawrence of Arabia, B, the message, C, lion in the desert, or D, the last temptation? of Christ. You don't hear about this one. I feel like it was kind of memory hold that this happened,
Starting point is 00:06:33 but it definitely did. Multiple buildings in Washington, D.C. Say it's B. The message. What do you got? Yes. Correct. It is B. The message.
Starting point is 00:06:44 The thing is, I know that Dallas is going to get them all right. So if I have the same answer as him, I know that I got it right. That's why I have you guys brought him down beforehand. Yeah, okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Actually, the filmmakers deliberately avoided depicting the Prophet Muhammad on screen that producer Mustafa Akkad even offered to destroy the film if the gunman watched it, but the gunman still found the defensive. Why do you call him the prophet Muhammad? Are you a Muslim now?
Starting point is 00:07:07 He's not a prophet. I can't call him the prophet Muhammad. You know I can't spell at all, or read off prompters very well. So I just put it through to correct it, and that's just what it corrected to. I didn't even notice it. It corrected? Wow. Man, Grock has gone native.
Starting point is 00:07:21 That's crazy. All right. All right. Number three, despite playing an Australian actor who used blackface to portray a black soldier, Robert Downey Jr. received which recognition for Tropic Thunder? Was it A, an Academy Award nomination, B, a Golden Globe nomination, C, a Screen Actors Guild nomination, or D, all the above? Oh.
Starting point is 00:07:49 I say SAG. I think it was C. The correct answer is D, all of the above. That's awesome. That's so great. We used to have fun, you know? Things didn't used to be so crazy. I was torn because SAG is the most lib group of all of those, but I, I think, thought there was no way the academy would would reward him for that but they did well this was this was right as Barack Obama was ruining comedy and rock and roll and Saturday night live and the whole
Starting point is 00:08:17 world yeah yeah it was before it had the destruction was complete yeah okay it's I didn't realize I knew there was some award which why I was looking it up and it was all of them it is crazy that you could have done a role like that just like 15 years ago it was been totally fine insane uh actually I would do want to mention this too. The Academy Award, he got beaten out by Heath Ledger. This was the posthumous award that he won for the Dark Night. So Robert Darry Jr. may have won the Oscar that year. He got robbed. Heath Ledger was good in that movie, but Robert Danny Jr. got robbed. It's outrageous. Number four, which movie used more than 100 largely untrained lions, tigers, leopards, and other big cats resulting in injuries to dozens of cast and crew members?
Starting point is 00:09:02 This is wild. Is it A? The Ghost and the Darkness. B. The Island of Dr. Moreau. C. Roar. D. Born Free. I've only ever heard of one of those movies. What do you got, Michael? I said, I said B, because it's the only one I'd ever heard of. C. The correct answer is Roar. Hey, Dallas is absolutely destroying this game. Have you ever had an injury from an animal on set, Dallas?
Starting point is 00:09:36 Well, yes. Many times. PETA is my biggest fan. But usually, usually it's us. You know, like we, we, you know, in the first run-hite fight movie, we shot a deer on screen. We hired a hunter and did it ethically and everything like that. And it was, it was the way it should be. Did you, like, use the meat and, like, make moccasins out of the skin?
Starting point is 00:10:03 Yeah, we, we ate the meat and then we gave all the rest of the meat to a food bank and they loved it. That's right. It's actually, yeah, what's the objection to that? I don't, yeah, okay. That's awesome. Because the liberals, because the liberals suck. Yeah, that's it. That's it. They don't want, they hate us for our freedom. Now, thinking back, I was like, that scene was really realistic, and now that totally makes sense. That's, that's an incredible way to do that. That's great. No, C. G.I. Dears on a Dallas movie. No. Fun fact, the movie was later promoted using the tagline, quote, no animals were harmed in the making of this film. 70 cast and crew members were. Well, the crazy thing about Roar is the guy who filmed it ended up getting the rights to the exorcist. So, and he went and was the catalyst to getting the exorcist made. So without Roar, there's no exorcist.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Also, Tippyhedron and Melanie Griffith are in that movie, which is bizarre. So Roar is a wild one. Wow. And Melanie Griffith has no relation to murder. Griffin. I don't think so. Yeah, okay. I just wanted to,
Starting point is 00:11:12 I don't know. We're doing trivia, and Dallas is destroying me, so I just wanted to throw that one out. Anyway, Ben, what's the next question? All right, number five, Mickey Rooney wore makeup, taped black eyelids,
Starting point is 00:11:21 and a prosthetic mouthpiece to play the Japanese landlord, Mr. Yonoshi in which movie? Is it A, the Pink Panther? B, Breakfast at Tiffany's, C, the Tea House of the August Moon, or D. Sianara. I know Dallas knows this.
Starting point is 00:11:45 I've seen like five. movies in my life. I don't know what Dallas? What is it? Breakfast at Tiff. Michael, what do you got? Don't, don't you do it? What? No. No, hold on. Which is cool because, spoiler alert, the credits roll and run hide-fied infidels over the song Breakfast at Tiffany's. Does. Hey, well, that, yeah, I put breakfast at Tiffany's. Like, this is the character, Michael. Wow. Here's the actor that played him. This is the best part. Like, this is actually, looking back at it, I was like, okay, I see where they were kind of offended by this one. Yeah. Wow, Mickey Rooney.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Very versatile. I was looking at like reviews of it as well. And there was a lot of people, because it's kind of an iconic feminist role movie. And a lot of the liberal people are like, look, we can't support this movie anymore because of Mr. You Know She. It's just too offensive.
Starting point is 00:12:33 They've got to like redo it or something. It was great. All right. Number six, which controversial film featuring the Clu Klux Klan was screened at the White House during President Woodrow Wilson's administration? Is it A, gone with the wind? B, Birth of a Nation, C, the Jazz Singer,
Starting point is 00:12:48 D, the Great Dictator. Now you're talking about movies I know. I know. Now, you know, there are only like five movies that I watch on repeat all the time for my whole life. So anyway, I think of it. Hey, you guys both got it. Great job, guys. That was a layup. Just knock it out.
Starting point is 00:13:05 All right, number seven, Christopher Nolan was pilloried by some left-wing critics for creating what they called a, quote, fascist film that defended the 1% portraying popular uprisings as inevitable dissensions into terror. and endorsed a strong man who restores order.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Which film was it? Was it A, Batman Begins, B, the Prestige, C, the Dark Night, D, the Dark Night Rises. This is another one of Michael's favorite fascist films. Yeah. I think it was Batman and Robin, where George Clooney had the nipples. Do you remember that one? Yeah. That was the one that Father Mike Schmitts auditioned for, right?
Starting point is 00:13:58 Oh, yeah, he was up for Robin in that movie. Father Mike Schmidt's biggest podcaster in the world. Catholic priest. He was up for a lot of. Whoa. Yeah. That's weird. That's awesome. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:07 That's weird. What do you got, Michael? I said it's... I'll make sure to cast him in a daily wire movie before you. That'd be awesome. All right. C. Michael, you had C.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Yes. The correct answer is D. The Dark Night Rises. Oh. They all blend together in my mind. Wow. Yeah, I don't remember it. I don't even remember the plot of the Dark Night.
Starting point is 00:14:29 I just remember it was like pretty good. It was great. I actually, I was in L.A. and they had a special three IMAX back-to-back-to-back showing of the Dark Night trilogy, and Christopher Nolan showed up to it. It was only like a $60 tickets because it sold out in like five minutes, and it was all. It was 10 hours straight through. It was sick. It's so much fun. Wow.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Wow. Yeah. All right. Number eight, what happened to Margaret Hamilton while filming the wicked witch's fiery disappearance in the Wizard of Oz? A. She broke both legs. B. suffered serious burns. C.
Starting point is 00:14:59 She was temporarily blinded. D, she was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. One of these horrible things happened to her while filming that last night. Hmm. I actually know the answer to this one. I remember watching when, you know, they used to air it as a kid, like on network TV once a year. And then they'd have all these little interviews with the surviving oompa-oompas or whatever. And I actually remember this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Okay. Yeah. How did you got? It's B. She was burned. B, correct. She was burned. Yeah. It was like the power tactics went off. The door didn't open. so she was stuck there.
Starting point is 00:15:31 She was a trap door. And so, yeah, it's pretty wild. It's crazy this stuff that happens on set. I heard there was that the way the burns hit, this isn't even a joke. I heard that there was a chance her skin would remain green or something like that. That it was actually the makeup was part of the problem.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I don't know if that's true. You know, according to the Hollywood reporter, we killed two people on Run Hyde Fight Infidels. Yeah. They actually say that. Because Jonathan Majors, like, stub his toe or something. They fell out of a window this high
Starting point is 00:16:00 and landed on some dirt. R-I-P. Yeah, the headline, Jonathan Majors falls out of a window. But it's like they don't, do you guys know how movies are made? Like, it's not like you're on that 20th floor, you know? Crazy. So dumb. It was great.
Starting point is 00:16:16 We used it in our branding. Yeah. By the way, if you haven't seen Run Hyde Fight Infidels, you need to watch it now. But you can't watch it before I have you watch this trailer for it. Every significant movement in history has started with protesting. This is our generation civil rights. I have no idea what the protest is about. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Given the current climate, should a figure as polarize you as place Saunders. You can be allowed on campus? Ah, can you hear me okay? Saunders is a close personal friend of Chancellor Friedman. This is a decision I cannot fight. Islam will conquer the West. Islamu'aqu. Are we paying attention?
Starting point is 00:16:53 They've taken over the building. They're downstairs and they've blocked the doors. I seek forgiveness from Allah. from Allah the Almighty. We cannot run and hide. Mohammed is the messenger of God. There is no God but
Starting point is 00:17:10 Allah. What do you say? We turn those S-O-Bs into a fine red mist. As we move, one man will cover while the other guys go. They call that leap project. Stretch them out and listen. You need a course
Starting point is 00:17:26 in safe weapons handling. All right. Dailywire.com slash subscribe. Go do it. Go watch it right now. Watch it. Get it. Do it. Subscribe. We've all heard radio advertisements about owing the IRS money. They lean on fear and try to frighten you into calling. Tax relief advocates does things differently. Whether you owe 5,000, 50,000 or 500,000, TRA offers an actual solution. Do not lose hope. TRA could reduce or even eliminate what you owe the IRS. Their passion is taxes and helping individuals and businesses settle their IRS problems. They've earned over 1,000 5-star Google reviews.
Starting point is 00:18:04 and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau. There is no need to fear the IRS any longer. Substantial relief programs are available that can give you a fresh start. So do not delay. Visit t-ra.com. That is, TRA.com or call 800-575-4908. That is, once more, 800-575-4908. Tax relief advocates, real solutions for real people.
Starting point is 00:18:30 All right, can we get a score check? I think I'm winning. seven Dallas for Michael Michael there's still time to come back okay there we go all right a Paris movie theater was attacked with Molotov cocktails by Catholic traditionalists in 1988 while showing which controversial film was it A the exorcist B the last temptation of Christ C the Da Vinci Code D the Passion of the Christ in would you say in 1978 it was in 1988 88 88 The Da Vinci Code. I think it was the Da Vinci Code, right, in 1988?
Starting point is 00:19:10 We'll find out. Is it B? Yeah. The correct answer is B, the last temptation of Christ. You know, I've never seen it. And don't intend to. Do you know who played Jesus in it? No. Overrated.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I think it was Martin Scorsese and William Defoe played Jesus, right? Huh. That's right. I've never seen it. Harvey Kitell is amazing. in it. And William Defoe is amazing in it, but the movie is real... Yeah, those are both great actors. Apparently, 13 people were injured, including four who were severely burned.
Starting point is 00:19:43 In The Last Temptation of Christ? No, in the theater, they Molotov cocktail. Oh, okay. Well, in either way, God is not mocked, so, you know, deal with it. It's not just the Muslims who get a little ornery sometimes. There you go. All right. Number 10. Before Disney's live-action Snow White became a dumpster fire, for many reasons. Which celebrity pillory the original story
Starting point is 00:20:03 as quote, backward? Is it A, Hornswoggle, the WWE wrestler, B, Peter Dinklage, C, Danny DeVito, D. Martin Short. Is it
Starting point is 00:20:14 A? A, it was. Would you write down, Dallas? Peter Dinklage. Peter Dinklage. Peter Dinklage is correct. B.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Wait, said that... I gotta give Daily Wire credit for this. They, the company is responsible for 33% of the change on, on Disney on this one. Hold on. I'm just confused about the question. So hard. You all went after it so hard.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Y'all were mocking it. Every host was mocking it. I swear this was just, DailyWire gets a ton of credit for suing the Biden administration. They don't get enough credit for changing, you know, back back into the little guys. Yeah. No, I'm confused, though. Was it, was the question who was calling the original story backwards or who was calling the casting decision backwards?
Starting point is 00:21:10 He was calling the original story is backwards. Oh. And it was Peter Dingledges. It's so complicated. They went from, like, sort of, you know, they were going to cast little people. Yeah. And then they were going to cast weird, like, you know, United Colors of Beneton, wacko
Starting point is 00:21:29 and then a photo leaked of them all doing reshoots during the strike which they weren't allowed to do and then DailyWire just started making fun of it and it just on and on and on and then it got replaced
Starting point is 00:21:41 with CGI dwarves It was such great content for us for like a month it was awesome and I had to shout out my man Hornswaggle the WWE star I just did I was doing a movie with him at the time with this controversy and he was so mad at Peter Dicklut
Starting point is 00:21:54 he's like dude this is like the best roles ever for is you kidding me why are you ruining It's like, Digglidge said like one of five roles that we can possibly get in Hollywood and we shouldn't get it. So stupid. It's crazy. What a moron. All right.
Starting point is 00:22:08 And his entire community came out and said, don't do this. We want those roles. Yeah. Crazy. So crazy. All right. Number 11. Which group organized protest against Tropic Thunder for all of its offensive stuff in the movie?
Starting point is 00:22:21 Was it A, animal rights groups, B, racial justice organizations, C, disability right, or? organizations or D military veteran organizations. Every time Michael starts drawing, it's going to be something offensive. How long does it take me to color in blackface? Yeah, no, here it's... Hold on, hold on. Here we go. All right, what do you got?
Starting point is 00:22:55 C, never go full retard. There you go. That is correct. They weren't mad about the black face or any of this stuff. It was actually making fun of Simple Jack. The Simple Jack thing got them in a lot of trouble. That's right. That's right.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Yep. What a great movie. That was a great movie. I haven't gone back to watch it in a very long time. Oh, it's incredible. Yeah. 10 out of 10. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Number 12. Seth Rogan and James Franco comedy, The Interview, became the center of international crisis after hackers attacked Sony Pictures on behalf of what offended country? Was it A, China, B, Russia, C, North Korea, or D, Iran?
Starting point is 00:23:39 This was such a funny attack, too, just because all the emails that were released about people's, like, personal interaction. Amazing. Oh. So fun to read everyone, like, making fun of each other and the emails and stuff. That was more fun than the actual event. I'm checking my watch now because I'm bored because I know Dallas is a hard out.
Starting point is 00:24:01 I said North Korea. And then you can see it's the north part of the peninsula. It's uncanny. Isn't that amazing? I gave him the double chin. You saw that? There you go. Those are correct.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Good job, gentlemen. All right. 13. Which movie reportedly had to shorten a puppet sex scene repeatedly. to avoid an NC-17 rating. Was it A, happy-time murders. B, meet the feebles. C, Team America World Police, D. South Park,
Starting point is 00:24:29 bigger, longer, and uncut. NC-17. So like a Muppet Christmas. Ariel, what do you got? Team America World Police. That is correct, gentlemen. What an amazing film, too. The Film Actors Guild.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Just a stroke of genius. I'm Matt Damon. Matt Damon. So many iconic lines in the movie. Well, I need Judas. It's not about sex. It's about trust. All right.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Number 14. Apocalypse now famously endured a chaotic production that included a typhoon destroying the sets. It's leading man suffering a heart attack. And filming stretched from a plan 16 weeks to well over a year. The American Humane Association gave the film a, quote, unacceptable rating because it included graphic footage of tribesmen slaughtering which animal. This is actually a great callback to run a hide fight.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Was it A, a cow, B, a water buffalo, C, a goat, D, a chicken. Oh, man. And when you rewatch this, it's wild. It's like, oh, they really did it. What do you have, Michael? Putting art together. We have three minutes. Is it the water buffalo?
Starting point is 00:25:54 It's the water buffalo. All right. All right. And actually, the director of Francis Fort Coppola said that they were going to do it anyway kind of thing and they said it was part of like one of their ceremonies. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:26:04 but people were really mad about it. It is, there are movies that are more fun to watch and there are movies that are, quote, better. But it is the greatest movie achievement of all time. It's up there with some of the greatest because it's so hard. There's so many characters.
Starting point is 00:26:22 There's so many storylines. There's so many locations. Just an unbelievable feat. Everyone is perfect in the movie. It is, I consider it the greatest production of any movie of all time. Yeah, and Marlon Brando, he's just looking so fit and healthy and good. Well, here's the thing. You've got to be careful, though, because he's put out multiple cuts.
Starting point is 00:26:43 So you've got to go find this very specific cut called the final cut. It's not the redux. It's not the theatrical. It's not, blah, blah, blah, blah. The final cut. It's got the whole sequence with the French family that's embedded. in the country and things like that. Very, very wonderful movie.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Interesting. And reportedly, he shot more than one million feet of film. Wild. Yeah. All right. Last question here. Number 15. Which actor's final role famously involved wearing a Native American headdress and attire
Starting point is 00:27:14 while intentionally mocking indigenous culture and heritage in a raunchy politically incorrect comedy? Was it A, that half gay guy from the student film? B, the guy from the chocolate bar commercial. C, Michael Knowles, or D, all of the... above. You know, dude,
Starting point is 00:27:29 that's so funny, I didn't even put together what that bit was, you're right. I forgot I did that movie. I think we have a photo
Starting point is 00:27:37 of it. It's like, wow, do we? Wait, what do you call my final acting role?
Starting point is 00:27:42 Dallas just offered me a job. You're talking about my final acting role? Currently, it's the final job. I'm leaving you in the dust and I'm going to go work for Dallas. Let's fix,
Starting point is 00:27:51 let's fix that quickly. Why, that's so outrageous. Listen to him. Listen to him. dancing on the grave of my acting career. Just for that. Now I've got to come out of retirement. It's outrageous.
Starting point is 00:28:02 We're going to find a new job after this. The great tragedy, of course, is that neither of you have been in a daily wire movie in any role of any substance, except for lady ballers, a couple of cameo. And we haven't made an Andrew Claiborne movie. How is that possible? That's the actual.
Starting point is 00:28:18 How's that possible? What are we doing? Yeah, I mean, look, it's commendable that you haven't put Davies in anything. It's, you know, moderately upsetting that you haven't put me in anything. But we do have to make an Andrew Claven movie at some point. We have to... Unreal. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. It's also unreal. How much Dallas absolutely destroyed you in this game. I got destroyed. So to the Victor goes, the spoils. Michael, can you give 30 seconds
Starting point is 00:28:40 worth of compliments to Dallas on you? I can't. I started out by giving compliments to Dallas. He is the greatest living connoisseur and executor of on-screen violence. You can see this on full display in his entire Uvre, but certainly in the Daily Wire films from the very beginning, the first film that we released, which is Run Hyde Fight 1, and now you can see it in Run Hyde Fight Infidels at DailyWire.com slash subscribe. If you don't come watch this movie and subscribe, we're going to have to make budget cuts and fire Ben Davies. So hold on a second. This ad isn't actually going the way that I thought it would. I'm not really being persuasive anymore. Well, never, I'll tell you what, just for you, if you don't watch Run Hyde Fight Infidels,
Starting point is 00:29:23 we will keep Ben Davies. So if you want any chance, of kicking him off this show, make sure you go check out Dallas's latest movie, the latest movie from the Daily Wire Run Hyde Fight, Infidels. I don't want to spoil anything, but a Muslim kicks a homosexual off a roof. How was that?
Starting point is 00:29:41 That was awesome. And, you know, since this is your show, Michael and Dallas has to leave, like, right now, will you just close this out real quick? Yes. Thank you, Ben, for giving me the last word. Dallas, always excellent to see you. Ben, I saw you, and to the audience, especially great to be with you. We'll see you next time
