Today, we're gonna be talking about
how to have a completely different life six months from today than your life is right now. I think that one of the things
that's crazy is that people overestimate how long it takes to completely change their life.
And it doesn't take that much. Now, I will tell you this. Is it easy? No. Does it require a lot of work? Yes. Does it require you to completely
change who you are? A hundred percent. But if you can focus hardcore on just this for the next six
months, you could have a completely different life six months from today. And then if you fast
forward a year, two years, three years, five years, 10 years. It's night and day. It's completely different
from what your life is right now. Now, I'll tell you this. It's only three steps. And, you know,
there's one of them that I guarantee you've probably never thought of. And this is for
anybody who, you know, doesn't have a job or, you know, you just have a job that you're going to be
leaving or you have a part-time gig or something like that, but you can listen to it even if you have a full-time job that you're stuck at and you can
use this your own way as well. This isn't just for people who are unemployed or just for people
who are going to be quitting their job. This is for anybody. You can move and shift this
podcast episode to you depending on what situation that you're in. The first one,
damn it, if you've been listening to me for long enough, you've heard me say this over and over and over and over and over again. And once again, sometimes you have to hear
something a million times before you finally actually do it. You have to get very, very clear
on exactly what it is that you want in this life. Most people have no idea, really detailed,
of what it is that they want in this life.
They have an idea.
They kind of go, oh, yeah, I want to be happier.
I want to make more money.
I want to be in better shape and lose a little bit of weight.
I want to be able to travel a little bit.
But I'm like, how much money do you want to make?
How much do you want in your bank account?
Where do you want to travel to?
When do you want to travel there?
What do you want your body to look like?
What body fat?
What weight?
All of that stuff, like very, very detailed of exactly what it is that you want. Because what you're going to be doing
is you're going to be visualizing this every single day. You're going to visualize it
every single day. You're going to brainwash yourself into believing the life that you
actually want is possible. Because the thing that's holding you back from life that you want is you. That's it. Either you don't believe it's fully possible, or you're shooting too low,
or you're thinking I'm not good enough, or smart enough, or pretty enough, or whatever it is.
I want you to brainwash yourself every single day into believing that it's possible. And here's what
I want you to do. This is the key part of it right here. I want you to
learn one high income skill. One. That's it. Nothing else. And I want you to focus on learning
that thing for the next six months. The thing that I know about success, I've met a lot of
successful people. And I know a lot of people who are extremely successful. And I'm like,
And I know a lot of people who are extremely successful and I'm like,
didn't expect that one from meeting this person knowing who they are.
They're not the smartest person. They're not the best looking person. But usually what it is,
is they found one thing and they have mastered that thing. That's it. Whatever it is, if you can master one thing, you can become a ridiculous success in this world. So maybe for you, you're
like, hey, you know what I noticed is a really big thing? Facebook ads. Okay. I want you to master
whatever it is you need to do. Maybe you know nothing about Facebook and Instagram ads right
now. TikTok ads, whatever, YouTube ads, Google ads, Google AdWords, all of those things. Maybe
you know nothing about them right at this moment, but you know that if you were to master it and it's interesting to you and it seems like something
that you would enjoy doing, that you could really make a lot of money and really have a lot of
success and do whatever it is that you want to do. I don't know what the hell it is, but let's say
it's that thing. I want you to dedicate six months of your life to that. Learning it, mastering it,
six months of your life to that. Learning it, mastering it, trying it, and then run Facebook ads for other people. I know many, quite a few, probably seven off the top of my head,
millionaires that run other people's Facebook ads. That's all they do. Nothing else. They're
not the smartest person, not the brightest person, not the best person with numbers,
but they just have mastered this one thing. Maybe it's writing articles and you're going to start
writing articles for people. Maybe it's making YouTube videos. I know people that make hundreds
of thousands of dollars per year and all they do is make YouTube videos about, you know, the 10 top
destinations for next year or the five places to travel to when you're in the Rocky Mountains.
And they don't even show their face. Some of them don't even record their own voice. They get a voice, they literally type up the script and send it
to somebody, but they take photos and videos and they edit them and they make a ton of money doing
it. There's crazy ways to make money. You know, there's coaching as well. Maybe you want to become
a coach and maybe you want to help people. That's what I do is I teach people how to actually grow
coaching businesses, coaching and consulting businesses online. So maybe you want to be a
life coach or a fitness coach or a wellness coach or a
relationship coach or a coach for moms that are, you know, postpartum. I don't know what it is.
Something like that. Maybe you want to be a coach. Maybe you want to do Shopify and you want to start
a Shopify store. Maybe you want to start an Etsy store. Maybe you want to do sponsorships and
figure out a way to grow your, you know, become an influencer, have Instagram and
Facebook and be sponsored in order to sell products. I don't know. Maybe you want to start
your own clothing brand. Maybe you want to sell courses. Maybe you want to help other people sell
their courses and you want to do affiliate marketing. Maybe you want to grow a massive
podcast, but you've been quote unquote too busy to do it. Writing emails for other people,
selling supplements, selling on Amazon, freelancing on Upwork, social media management, YouTube, writing Kindle books,
consulting, freelance writing. I don't know. There's so many things that you could do out there,
but I want you to take six months to start learning and start mastering one skill and
one skill only and start figuring out how to make money doing it. Just figure it out. There's someone out there that teaches it on YouTube on how to do it.
There's someone out there that has a course that you can buy.
There's someone out there that will coach you on exactly how to do it that's already done it before.
And start a business with that skill.
Start a business with that skill.
There's a lot of stuff that's happening in the world.
There's a lot that's changing in the world.
And the one thing that I know is that the safest thing to do is to work for yourself.
If you're still working for someone else, if 2020 and all of the stuff that happened
in that point showed us anything, I mean, it showed us many things, but one of the things
that it showed us is that what people thought was a quote unquote secure job working for
someone else got fired overnight.
35 million people, I think it was, lost their job
during the pandemic. That that they thought was once secure is not secure. I didn't lose my job
because I am my own boss. And so if you really want secure, you have to make sure that you're
building security for yourself. So that's the first thing is to figure out what it is that
you want and master one skill and spend six months really trying to master that thing.
Okay. Number two, now that you've actually figured out what it is, I want you to make a plan.
Get clear on what it is that you need to do to create the life that you want. Whatever it is
that you want, the business, the money, the happiness, get very clear on what it is that
you want to do. Get very clear.
And you look at it and the plan will start to change. It'll move. It'll shift all of that stuff,
but you have to figure it out. Stop acting like you don't know what it is that you need to do.
Stop acting like you don't have enough time. We all know what we need to do to create the life
that we want. The problem is if you don't have life that you want, you're just not doing it.
It's a fact. You know about 95% of
what you need to know in order to be successful. So go do it. The problem is the action is not
being taken. Everybody listening to this right now, even if you've never gone to the gym before,
knows what you need to do to lose weight. You know, you do a little bit of working out,
you do some caloric restriction, maybe you go for an extra walk or run a couple of times a week, and you would start to lose weight. But
the question is, if you want to lose weight, are you actually doing the things that need to be done
in order to lose the weight? You know, don't act like you don't. We all know what needs to be done
in order to get to where we want to go. The problem is that just most people are not taking that
action. You have to figure out what it is that you want to do. And you have to take the action.
Know that your plan is going to change along the way. It's going to do and you have to take the action. Know that your plan
is going to change along the way. It's going to move. It's going to shift. Be okay with taking
some detours along the way as long as the destination stays the same. These six months,
the destination of where you want to be in six months needs to stay the same. It needs to stay
the same and there's going to be detours. You're going to move. You're going to shift, you're going to figure these things out. You know, things are going to
happen, they're going to be completely unknown. But as long as you are dedicated to learning and
mastering and getting better at this thing, that's the thing that matters the most.

this is the one thing that most people don't think of. Number three, disappear. Just be gone. Poof.
Like a magician just came in and just, you just disappear. I want you to disappear for six months.
Tell everyone that you know that you're going to disappear. Now, if you have kids
and a family to provide for, obviously you can't just throw them out on the streets and then be
like, see you in six months, figure it out. You know what I mean. I mean, tell everyone that
doesn't live in your household that doesn't need to survive, you know, and depend on their survival
from you. Tell everyone, your friends, I can't see you for the next six months. It's not you, it's me.
I'm going to disappear. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to work on X, Y, Z, and I'm going to
put six months into it. And it's not that I don't want to hang out with you because damn it, I do
want to hang out with you, but I just want to create this life that I want. And if you could
just appreciate that and you can love me for that and you can respect it, I'm going to try to be a different person in six months than I am right now.
And you tell everyone that you know that you're disappearing and you just poof. And if they get
mad about it, they probably don't truly love you in the first place. They're probably not a true
friend because who could get mad at somebody that they really love about wanting to better their life
and create the best life possible. You can go back to your normal schedule of hanging out
and doing whatever it is, drinking beers on Sundays, watching footballs with the boys,
whatever it is, just disappear. But you can go back to your normal schedule after the six months.
And then here's what you're going to do. You're going to stop going to parties.
You're going to stop hanging out with friends. You're going to stop doing anything that does not get you closer to that goal of six months. I mean, everything. You stop doing everything that
does not get you closer to that goal. I promise you, it'll be hard. I promise you, it'll be
challenging. I promise you, it'll be a struggle. promise you, it'll be challenging. I promise you,
it'll be a struggle. There's going to be times where you're just going to be like,
fuck, I just want to go and just go to a football game. I want to go and just
see some of my friends and go out for a glass of wine. I promise you though,
everything will be exactly the same right now. It'll be exactly the same in six months
with all of your friends, with everything.
How can I say this? Well, because in 2017, my girlfriend at the time and I, we went and decided
to go travel for six months. We went and we left and we went to Europe. We spent a lot of time in
Italy. We spent time in all over Spain, France, all of that. We went to Dubai. We went to Thailand.
We went to other places in Southeast Asia. We went to Dubai. We went to Thailand. We went to
other places in Southeast Asia. We went all over the place. We were gone for six months.
We came back. Nothing was different. Everything was literally exactly the same. We were treated
exactly the same. Our friends were in the exact same position. They looked exactly the same. They
thought exactly the same. The city had not really changed all that much. Like everything was exactly the same. I promise you everything will be exactly the same in six months.
There's going to be no fires. Nothing's going to happen. You can do, even though it'll be a
challenge, even though it's going to be hard, even though you're going to want to give up at some
point in time, I promise you your future is more worth it. You could do anything for six months.
worth it. You could do anything for six months. We're talking about a complete rewiring of yourself,
who you are, who you think you are, and your life. I mean a complete rewiring. Once again,
I said at the beginning of this episode, you're going to be a completely different person.
How do we do a completely different person? We hit the reset button and we completely reset the entire life that you have. And instead of focusing on this thing and this thing and this thing and
this thing, it's like one thing, ultimate focus, as much time, all my waking hours into this thing.
It will not be easy, but I swear to you, it will be worth it. And you'll improve as you go.
You won't be good at first when you start doing this thing. Maybe it's something that you've
never done before, but you'll start getting more and more used to it and getting better at it and
getting better and getting better at it. And you have to keep going. That's why you have six months.
Month one, yeah, you're going to, if you're brand new, you're going to suck at that thing.
And you just have to understand that's what you have to do. One of my favorite quotes around this
is you can't be a humble master if you're not willing to be an ungraceful beginner and just fumble and
screw things up and mess things up. You got to be okay with messing things up. I was listening to
someone the other day and there was this coach that was coaching this lady and she was an artist
and she's like, oh, but I just, I want to make art so much, but I'm just so afraid and my art's
not good enough. And every time I make art, it could be better and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. He goes, you know what you need to do?
She's like, what? He goes, I want you to just make shitty art for a long time. She's like,
what? He's like, for like a month, every single day, I just want you to make an art piece every
single day. And I want it to suck. He goes, I don't care if you got to get naked and cover yourself
in paint and then just roll around on that canvas. And it looks
like shit when you're done, but you've just got to be okay with creating crap. Because eventually,
if you do that, you'll get better and you'll get better and you'll get better. And you'll stop
trying to be perfect all of the time and every single thing that you do. And what happens is
you'll improve as you go, you'll improve as you go, you'll improve as you go. And after the first
month, it'll get easier and easier and you'll get better and you'll get better and you'll get better. And then six months from now, I don't want to say
you'll be a master, but you'll be better than 99.9% of people on this earth at that thing,
whatever it is. And when you're better at something than 99.9% of people on this earth,
that right there is where you can start charging premium prices for whatever that thing is.
And that is how you start to completely change the life that you want, the life that you have.
