Before we dive into today's episode, if you would like a free copy of our motivational ebook called Hack Your Goals, the Step-by-Step Guide to Achieving Success, go to mwfmotivation.com and download it.
It's already been downloaded over a thousand times, so go ahead and get your copy now.
All right, I'll get you the podcast right now.
Welcome to the MWF Motivation Podcast, which I am proud to say has been rated the number one podcast in iTunes new and noteworthy in six different categories, including self-help
and business, and is a podcast designed to help you grow into the best version of yourself
in 10 to 20 minutes.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we'll take a life topic, break it down, discuss
it, and leave you with thoughts to impact your life and mind. My name is Rob Dial, and
the podcast starts now.
Welcome, welcome, welcome to today's episode. If you have not yet done so, please subscribe
to us, however you listen to us.
Also, we are going to be close.
We are on the homestretch.
We only have three weeks left until the one-year anniversary.
And if we don't get a ton of shares and a ton of downloads in the next three weeks,
we will not make it to a million.
So please share this with whoever you can.
Try to get some people to listen to this.
We're trying to impact as many people as possible with the message.
And if you are interested in one-on-one coaching with me,
like I said, I actually only have one spot that is now left in one-on-one coaching.
So send me an email, rob at mwfmotivation.
If you are interested in taking your life to the next level,
if you're interested in group coaching as well, you can send me an email, Rob at MWF Motivation.
If you want to join our group coaching, which has been awesome. And also, if you have not yet
downloaded the ebook, download the ebook before it is not free anymore. I'm thinking maybe a
couple more weeks before it will be
taken down. And so you can go to mwfmotivation.com for that. And the last two things,
if you are interested in you, I know there's a few people that emailed in and said they wanted
to be part of the webinars, but the times didn't work for them. They wanted to be on them.
So I am going to run another webinar, which if you want
to join, that one will actually be... I'm not sure off the top of my head of the date, but I know
that I put it up. It's going to be next week. I think it's the 9th at 5pm Central. Anyways,
if you're interested in joining it, go to mwfmotivation.com slash webinar. Once again, mwfmotivation.com slash
webinar. And you can sign up for the free Mindset Mastery to learn how to take control of your mind.
I'll go over the five steps to take control of your mind so that you can create the future that
you want. And last but not least, this past weekend, I went to a corporate event and gave a speech, which was supposed to be an
hour and a half. But they wanted me to go longer. They voted for me to go longer. So I spoke for
two and a half hours at a corporate event this past weekend. So if you are interested in having
me speak at your corporate events and your company does that, send me an email, rob at mwfmotivation.com.
Maybe we can get something lined up. And like I said, I will take you out to get coffee or lunch
or dinner, whatever it is, depending on the situation and what we're able to do to say,
thank you for having your company bring me out. So if that's something that interests you,
don't be shy. I know there's a lot of people that are too shy to reach out to me. Stop being shy. Reach out to me. I love to
speak to all of my listeners. So that being said, what we're going to be talking about today in this
episode, I'm going to talk about being crazy in society, or at least society's eyes. And I gave
a talk this weekend, like I said, for a group of people at a corporation. And I said,
you know, something along the lines of, when was the last time that you just,
you jumped out of bed and you're just like, oh my gosh, this is the best day ever. I'm going to
make today amazing. And I said it in a joking way and everybody laughed at it. And then I got
serious and I said, but really though, why is that funny? Why is it funny that to jump out of bed and be excited that you are alive is a funny thing?
Why does that seem crazy to us?
You know, because a lot of people, whatever day you're listening to this on, did not wake
up today, right?
A lot of people laughed at first and then they're thinking, oh crap, that's actually
true.
Why is it weird for us to be excited to be alive?
Why does it seem crazy if you're super happy? I don't get it. Because if you go into a store
and someone asks you, how are you doing? And you're like, I'm just getting by.
Then they're like, oh yeah, me too, man. I understand. Give me a fist pound.
then they're like, oh yeah, me too, man. I understand. Give me a fist pound, right?
Like it's who just wants to get by and why is that the acceptable thing in society to just get by?
Why is it okay to be crappy all the time and barely just get by, but it's crazy to be excited to be alive? I don't understand that. And I want to tell you something that I've been doing
for the past week, week and a half or so. And I switched my alarm on my phone from the boring alarm that's super annoying to Avicii Levels is the song,
the EDM song, the dance song. And I've been trying to do that just to make myself happy and
jump out of bed and just be excited to be alive. And so the first day I did this, I put that on.
I woke up at 6am, got dressed, went straight to the gym. And I was like, I did this, I put that on. I woke up at 6 a.m., got dressed, went straight
to the gym. And I was like, you know what? I'm just going to make today awesome. I put on my
music. I was blasting it. And I was dancing in my car on the way to the gym. I got to the gym at
like 6.30. I went and played basketball, worked out. And I was like, this is the best freaking
day ever. And I did a whole bunch of stuff. I had coaching calls that day. And by like 11 o'clock,
I felt like I was absolutely on fire just because of the fact that I had coaching calls that day. And by like 11 o'clock, I felt like I was absolutely on fire
just because of the fact that I had made the day amazing because I had made the decision to.
And it was one of the most productive days I've ever had. And so what I want to tell you to do
is to make the decision to be excited about every single day. Be weird, quote unquote,
weird in other people's eyes by just being excited to wake
up. Be excited just to be alive. Put on great music on the way to work and dance for no reason.
Or when you're in the shower, put on some great music and just dance in the shower and smile and
laugh and put on something funny on the way to work or put on some comedy while you're getting
ready to go to work. Do something that will just make you have a great time. Blast music on your way to work. And who gives a crap what anybody thinks? Who cares what
other people think if they see you dancing? When you dance and go crazy and your light shines,
it allows people and gives other people around you the permission to do the same as well.
So who cares what other people think? You're not in control of their experiences. You're only in
control of your own. So why don't you make it your mission to go out every single day and be like,
you know what? I don't care what happens. I don't care how bad today can get. I'm going to make it
my mission that no matter what happens to me, I'm going to make today one of the best days that I've
ever had. That's your decision to make. That's nobody else's decision. And if people think that
you're crazy because you're having an amazing time, an amazing life, an amazing day,
well, then I think they're probably the one
that actually has the problem.
If they have a problem with you, that's their problem.
That's not your problem.
That shouldn't make your life any worse.
So what I wanna tell you is this,
focus on every single day waking up and being like,
you know what?
I don't give a crap what anybody thinks.
I'm just gonna leave that off to the wayside
and just focus on yourself. Focus on you making
every minute that you possibly can as much fun as you can. So smile, wake up, have fun, dance
naked in your bathroom with your music blasting when no one else is looking. Who cares?
Make it your mission. Just have so much fun that it doesn't even matter. And then you get dressed
and you go to work and on your way to work, you blast the music and you dance and you have fun and you do everything
that you can because you're in control of whether it's going to be an amazing day or a crappy day.
And if it's going to be the same 24 hours, why not do everything that you can right now to make
it an amazing day? So I hope this gets you a little bit more excited. I hope that you can
listen to this and go, you know what? All right. I'm going to turn Rob off right now as soon as this episode ends.
And I'm going to blast my music for as much as long as I can the rest of my ride. I'm just going
to have a great day. So that's what I want you to do. And if you like this episode, you know
somebody else who needs to hear it. Please share this with them. We're trying to impact as many
people as we possibly can. And we're going to be close to a million downloads. But if we don't get
a lot more shares, we're not going to get there. So I need your help. We love it. We're trying to impact
as many people as possible. But if you like this episode, please share it with someone. And once
again, if you're interested in my speaking engagements, or you're interested in one-on-one
coaching or group coaching, or any of those things, send me an email rob at mwfmotivation.com.
And I'm gonna leave you the same way I leave you every single episode. Make it your mission today to make somebody else's day better.
Get up to the stoplight, start dancing, look over at someone, make them start dancing in their car
as well. That'll make someone else's day better. But with that, I appreciate you and I hope that
you guys have an absolutely amazing day. Well, that's it for today's podcast. If you want the show notes for this episode,
they can be found at MWF motivation.com. Also, if you liked this episode, please spread the love
