Welcome to this very special bonus episode of the Mindset Mentor Podcast. Today I'm going to be
talking about my biggest event that I do every single year with people from all over the world.

Challenge. If you're a listener of this podcast, I know there's something deep down inside of you
that wants to learn, that wants to grow, that wants to become the best version of yourself. But there's something that holds us all back. And that's usually
the number one thing is our mind. Our mind holds us back. You know what you need to do to be
successful. You know what you need to do to create the life that you want to, but you're just not
doing it. And it's our mind that holds us back from that. And I know that there's something inside
that he wants to grow. And that thing that holds you back, that mindset, that's what the Iron Mind 30 is designed for.
I like to think of the mind of like a rubber band.
You know, most people will push himself for a few days, they'll push himself for a few
days.
And if you pull a rubber band, you pull a rubber band, you pull a rubber band.
And then they're like, you know what?
I'm just going to go back to my old way of life.
And they fall back into their old routines and they stay in a comfort zone forever.
And it's just like the rubber band, you pull, you pull, you pull, you pull. And then it kind of goes back to the same
shape that it was before. And you know, if you think about your comfort zone, how long have you
been stuck in your comfort zone? Is it a year, two years, five years, 10 years maybe? Well, the idea
is to push yourself every single day so that you are uncomfortable, uncomfortable, uncomfortable,
uncomfortable, uncomfortable. And just like you're pulling that rubber band, you're pulling, you're pulling,
you're pulling, you're pulling, you pull it. Eventually, if you pull it far enough, what
happens? It snaps. That's what I want us to all do for the Iron Mind 30 through this challenge.
I've put over 4,000 people through the Iron Mind Challenge over the past few years. And so we have
mastered this event and it is designed to help you break through your fears, your limiting beliefs, your self-sabotage, everything that's holding you back. And so
let me give you a real quick idea of why people fail and why I've designed the Iron Mind 30 to
be what it is. The first reason why people fail is because they don't hold themselves accountable
and they don't have anybody else holding them accountable. The second reason why is because
they don't have a community and they don't have a support system. The third reason why people fail is because they don't have a why. And the fourth reason why is
because they don't have the right mindset. And so let's go through each one of these. And I can tell
you why I've designed the Ironman 30 the way that I have. First one I said was no accountability.
I'm going to be there going through the Ironman 30 with you. There's going to be six pillars I'm
going to tell you about in just a second. I'm going to go through all of those as well with you every single day.
I'm the type of coach that likes to eat his own dog food.
What do I mean by that?
There's coaches out there that'll tell you to work out and they won't work out.
There's coach out there that'll tell you to meditate and they don't meditate.
I'm going to eat my own dog food.
I'm going to go through and do all six of these pillars with you every single day.
And if anybody messes up on these six pillars throughout the entire 30 days,
they have to go back at day one and start day one through day 30 all over again. I'm going to put
myself through that exact same thing. If I mess up at any point in time, I'm going to have to go back
to day one. Second reason why when we talk about no community support system, there's going to be
over a thousand people inside of this Facebook group from all over the world that are going through this challenge with you. And so you'll have a support system built of
people who are going through the same six pillars that are pushing himself, that are trying to grow,
that are trying to push himself out of their comfort zone and make something different from
their life. The third reason why is because they don't have a why. I'm going to teach you how to
develop a why that is so strong that you want to finish this challenge. And the
fourth reason why is because they don't have the right mindset. And that's why every single day for
these 30 days inside of the Facebook group, I'm going to be going live, teaching you mindset
techniques, teaching you everything that you need to destroy that little voice that's inside of your
head that says you're not good enough. You're not smart enough. Stop doing that. Don't speak up.
Don't try to be better. Don't try to make something amazing of yourself. I'm going to help you destroy
that little voice inside of your head. And that's what the iron mind is for. And that's what these
six pillars are for. So let me tell you what the six pillars are. Number one, which is the one that
everybody challenges the most and that they hate the most is cold showers every single day. This
is what holds people back. And I could probably have way more people join the iron mind 30 if I didn't have the cold showers, but this isn't about staying
in your comfort zone. This is about pushing yourself out. The thing that holds us back is
not the cold shower. It's the mindset that says, Hey man, just skip it. No one's going to know.
Don't do it. It's that little voice that just tells you you're not good enough, smart enough,
pretty enough, whatever it is. That little voice is what we're trying to conquer through cold showers every single day and to develop the
willpower that we need to do the things that we need to do to create the life that we want.
The second pillar that we're going to have is to work out every single day. Obviously,
the Iron Mind 30 is called the Iron Mind because it's designed to help you build your mindset.
But a massive, massive byproduct is that mentally and physically,
your body is going to get into incredible shape. We've had people lose 20 pounds, 30 pounds,
40 pounds. We had somebody lose 70 pounds one year when we did this because of the changes that
they had in their body, in their mind, and the fact that they worked out every single day and
took care of themselves better than they ever have. The third thing is no alcohol at all
for the course of the 30 days.
You can go for 30 days without drinking alcohol,
I promise you.
The fourth one is to have a diet that you stick to,
a diet of your choice, and you stick to it for 30 days.
The fifth thing is to visualize every single day,
and I'll teach you how to do that,
how to visualize your dreams, how to visualize your goals,
how to visualize the life that you want to.
And I'm gonna teach you how to do that. And the sixth thing is to journal every single day, journal your goals, journal your dreams, how to visualize your goals, how to visualize the life that you want to. And I'm going to teach you how to do that. And the sixth thing is to journal every
single day, journal your goals, journal your vision, journal what it is you're trying to do
for yourself, for your family, for your community, for the world, so that you can get really clear
on your vision and what it is that you're trying to create. Because ultimately, how many times have
you given up on yourself in your life? Think about that for a second. What if you were just not to
give up on yourself? What if you were to just not to give up on yourself? What if
you were to put yourself through a 30 day challenge and push yourself and try to push yourself out of
your comfort zone and try to make something amazing of yourself and to make 2022 something
different. You know, they say it takes around 21 to a hundred days to change your brain. That's what
psychologists say. It takes around 21 to a hundred days. Well, the Iron Mind 30 is a vehicle to get you on a path to do the same thing over and
over and over and over again with these six pillars to break that rubber band, break that
comfort zone, and to start to change your brain into the person that you want to be.
And I know there's somebody out there.

hell yeah, I need to do this. I need to do this. I need to do this. I'm a little bit nervous,
but my gut says I need to do this. And what happens? Your mind comes in. It tries to talk
you out. Oh, maybe now's not the right time. Maybe we can do it. Maybe he does another iron
mine 30 down the road, or I have a wedding I
have to go to in January. I have to travel with the kids. I don't know if it's the right time to
