Now, when you see the price of this, you're gonna be like, holy crap, that's a huge discount. But the first 100 people get $50 off. And the way to find out the website to sign up, I am going to be announcing the website name for Mondays on Monday's episode. So Monday, June 10th, I'm going to be releasing that podcast episode this Sunday, June 9th at 1159 PM Eastern time. If you don't know what Eastern time is,

Starting point is 00:02:59 lined up. I'm actually going to be starting the very first day in Mexico. So I'm going on a two-week vacation. I guess you could call it vacation. Everything's always vacation slash work for me. I vacation, but then I also do work as a vacation as well. So I'll be in Florida for a little while. Then I'll be in Mexico for a work meeting and a mastermind. And I'm going to be there on the start date. So I'm going to be doing my workout from Mexico.

So you guys be able to join me along there, see my travel, see what I'm doing, see where I am. So that's what I got for you. So if you're definitely in, make sure that you listen to this Monday's episode, which comes out Sunday, 1159 PM Eastern, and find out where you can join in the first 50 people. I'm sorry, the first 100 people get $50 off. I'm so freaking excited about it. And I can't wait to do this with you guys. So what are we going to be talking about today? Well, we're going to be talking about delayed gratification. We're going to be talking about holding off, gratifying yourself in order to get
Starting point is 00:04:06 what you want in this world. I did a long time ago, I did an episode on this. Years ago, I did an episode of this, I believe. And I wanted to update it. And the reason why is because the world has changed a lot in the past couple of years and everything has actually gotten more immediate. And I think that for us, it is, if you want to be successful, if you want to create the life that you want, you're going to have to get good at, as you know, I'll put it nicely, but Gary Vee says you have to eat crap for a few years. He doesn't use the word crap, but you have to eat crap for a few years in order to get what you want. And, you know, we live in an immediate world. So I can literally, I remember a time, you know, I'm 33 years old. I don't know how old you guys are,
Starting point is 00:04:49 but I remember there were times before cell phones. I remember there were times when literally I used to have to go to the library to find something out. If we were sitting around with our friends, we'd be like, man, I wonder how far away the sun is from the earth. We'd have to go to the library, try to find an encyclopedia that was, you know, might have the information on it. But nowadays I can literally ask Siri right now, and she would tell me exactly how far away the earth is from the sun. We didn't have that back in the day. Everything is so immediate. I can, if I want food, I can order the food, knock it off my couch and literally have somebody
Starting point is 00:05:25 bring it directly to my house. No matter what the food is. If I want someone to come pick me up, I can get on my phone. I can have somebody come pick me up. If I want to go grocery shopping, but I don't want to get off my couch and I don't like grocery shopping, I can literally get someone to go through, buy every single thing for me and send it to my house. If I want to have my dog taken for a walk and I don't want to get off my couch, I can literally go to WAG,
Starting point is 00:05:50 have somebody come and pick up my dog, take him for a walk, take pictures of him as they're taking him for a walk, throw the ball for him and bring it back to me. Everything is so freaking immediate right now and everybody wants immediate gratification. I'm going to tell you something that's great about this though. The great thing about everybody wanting immediate gratification and not being able to get delayed gratification is this. It makes it easier for you to go ahead. If you can mentally have an iron mind,
Starting point is 00:06:20 if you can mentally push yourself and be able to eat crap for a little while, knowing that it might take six months, knowing it might take a year, two years, three years before your dreams manifest themselves. If you can have that mindset, if you can build up that commitment, build up that delayed gratification, guess what? You will win every single time because there's so few people that have the mental fortitude, the iron mind to be able to push and push and push because everybody is used to getting what they want right now, right this second. So maybe we're trained at this point to want instant gratification. But the good thing about that is this, everybody is trained to want that instant gratification. So if you can untrain yourself, if you can push yourself for a little while, if you can
Starting point is 00:07:11 join the Iron Mind 60 challenge, if you want to, this isn't me pushing it. You can do it if you want to. You don't have to do it. I don't really, it's up to you. You know, you're the one up to changing your life, not me. I won't change your life. You have to change your life. But if you're out there and you're pushing yourself and you're, you know, working harder and working harder and doing the late nights and
Starting point is 00:07:29 waking up early and going to the gym, you're going to be further along than everybody else will be in one year, in two years, in three years, all of that stuff. You're going to be further along than them. Working out is a perfect example, right? You don't work out one time and have the perfect body, right? You work out one time, you go back and look at your body and you're like, man, this is still my ugly body. It just happens to be, you know, sweaty now, right? You have to work out again and again and again and again and again and again. And then you start to see changes. That's delayed gratification. Same thing with a diet. You don't just go on a diet and then see, you know, after you eat your first salad, your body's different.
Starting point is 00:08:09 No, you have to be consistent and know that if you eat the right thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, eventually you'll start to lose the weight, right? Eventually you'll start to lose the weight. It's the same thing for success, right? Eventually you'll start to lose the weight. It's the same thing for success, right? If you want to build a successful company, you have to be able to push it for a while. I remember I've had conversations with people lately and they're like, man, what you have built is amazing. I'm like, thank you so much. I appreciate it. You know, it's nowhere near what I want it to be
Starting point is 00:08:40 because I know that we're going to be impacting billions of lives with a B within the next 10 years. So people come up to me like, man, I remember when you were just starting the podcast. I remember when you were just starting out on Facebook, all of these things. And they see the success. They don't see the late nights recording. They don't see the late nights editing videos. They don't see the late nights trying to figure out what makes this podcast episode good and this one not as good. What made this person's video go viral and this person's video did not go viral, right? There's just so many aspects of years and years and years, right? I started the podcast four years ago. It's doing incredible, but it's nowhere near where it's going to be. But it's just constant. I mean, we're, I don't even know,
Starting point is 00:09:30 we're almost 600 episodes deep in this podcast, right? You got to have that delayed gratification, got to be okay knowing that you're not going to wake up tomorrow and be where you want to be. But if you just keep pushing every single day, you will eventually wake up one day and be where you want to be. There's no such thing as an overnight success. Money is the exact same way, right? Sometimes you work for a while and you work and you put in the work, you put in the work, you put in the work, you put in the work. And eventually five months, a year, two years down the road, boom, it hits. You figure out how to make money in your industry and you make way more than everybody else. Most of the time you're so close to success when you give up. You have to have the idea of delayed gratification. Know that it's going to be coming, even if it's not here right now. You have to brainwash yourself into that. Tony Robbins says,
Starting point is 00:10:15 people overestimate what they can do in a year, but they underestimate what they can do in a decade. God, that rings so true for me with this podcast, with this brand, with everything that I've been building, right? It wasn't that much the first year. Now I look back, it's four years. I'm like, holy crap. It just hit one day. One day it just went boom and everything took off. But it took a lot of, you know, it's just like, you know, trying to move a tire, a heavy tire. It takes a lot of force and effort in the beginning, but then it starts to get momentum and you don't have to push as hard. And then when you do push as hard as you were before, that's when everything starts going. So you have to be okay with the delayed gratification.
Starting point is 00:10:57 You have to push yourself. You have to know that everybody else wants it instantly. If you can delay your gratification, you will be somewhere else that people cannot touch in five years. 10 years from now, you will be at a level that nobody around you could have ever guessed. You have to be okay with delaying your gratification,
Starting point is 00:11:19 eating crap for a few years, and eventually it will be there. People always send me emails. They say, hey, I want to quit my job. I want to start my own business. Tell me how I can make money in three months. I'm like, you probably won't make money in three months. You're lucky if you make money in a year, right? If for most companies, usually most companies lose money for a while, but if you can work your job that you have now and keep pushing and pushing and pushing
Starting point is 00:11:42 and stay up late night, work on the weekends and you can have that delayed gratification. Eventually you'll quit that job because you're making six figures, multiple six figures, multiple, multiple, multiple, multiple six figures because you were able to delay your gratification. Because you're able to delay your gratification. So that's what I got for you guys I have a massive massive announcement also on Monday's podcast so make sure you tune in on that and that's even besides the website I'm going to be announcing something
Starting point is 00:12:12 that's going to be pretty exciting for you guys and I want you to be there to be a part of it but if you're definitely in 100% for the Iron Mind 60 challenge make sure that you put Sunday June 9th 11 59 p.m. Eastern Time which is York City time, in your schedule because I'm going to be releasing the next podcast episode and the first 100 people who join in get $50 off. I'm so excited to start the challenge. The challenge starts June 25th.
Starting point is 00:12:40 That is day one. And then we'll be pushing ourselves and pushing ourselves and pushing ourselves for 60 days. And I'm going to be putting up videos inside of this Facebook group every single day for 60 days. I'm not just going to push you to do it. I'm going to be pushing myself and taking you into my mind because I know I'm going to hit the wall where I don't want to do it anymore. And I know you're going to hit the wall where I don't want to do it anymore. And I know you're going to hit the wall where you don't want to do it anymore, but I'm going to be there to coach everybody through it. So listen to Monday's episode, join us there. I'm so excited to hop on this journey with you guys and to announce the podcast winner on Monday and to announce the other big announcement as well. So I'm so excited to do it with you guys. I'm going to leave you
Starting point is 00:13:24 the same way, leave you every single episode. Make it your mission to make somebody else stay better. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you guys. I love you all. And I can't wait to see you on Monday. And I hope that you have an amazing day.
