If you're not yet subscribed to us, please do so on iTunes, Stitcher, or SoundCloud.
And today we're going to be talking about something that everybody likes to think about.
Well, you hope everybody likes to think about, and that is your bank account.
And we're going to talk about a lot of people, their bank account is not where they want it to be.
So why is your bank account not where you want it to be?
And I want you to realize this. Your bank
account will be in direct correlation to your personal growth account. And let me explain this
to you. I just got back from a networking event tonight and there were some very, very, very
successful people at this networking event. And I mean multi, multi-millionaires, very successful
people. And the one thing that I seem millionaires, very successful people. And the
one thing that I seem to notice with very super successful people is that they always seem to
have it together. Have you ever noticed that? They also love to read. They believe in personal
development. They're very well read. They're well spoken. And they believe in reading. They believe
in mentors. They believe in going to conferences and seminars and just being constant learners. They want to be sponges. They always want to grow. They always want to
improve. And I feel that I'm, I am obviously, I feel like I'm in a good place for personal
development. I'm nowhere near where I want to be. But when I get around people like that,
I feel like I need to completely step up my game even more.
So what I mean by your bank account and your personal development account is this. Think of
every nonfiction book that you could possibly read. Try to read as many as you possibly can.
Try to go to as many seminars as you can, as many conferences as you can.
Take as many courses as you can. Listen to as many good podcasts as you can, as many conferences as you can, take as many courses as you can, listen to as many
good podcasts as you can. Anytime you do something like that, what you're doing is you're adding to
your personal development account. What you'll notice with your bank account is that it tends
to grow only when your personal development account grows as well. So here's a key thing to know though.
Your bank account can never and will never
be higher than your personal development account.
It's always following it.
It's just like a shadow.
It moves and gets higher
when the personal development account moves and gets higher.
Why?
Because it's the shadow.
The shadow can never get ahead of it.
So if you're listening
to this, it means that you're one of the people who wants to continue to grow and you want to
get better. But I want to challenge you to think even bigger, to try to challenge you to grow more,
to do more, to be more, to become more. I want to challenge you to this. I want to challenge you
to have 30 days, the next 30 days
of hardcore personal development. And then if you keep going after that, it's going to help you even
more. But I will promise you this, when you grow and when you continue to grow and focus on becoming
a better person and learning more and being a sponge and hanging out the right people and
finding the right mentors, your personal bank account can do nothing but grow.
It's like the phrase, you know, no one has ever gone broke from reading too many books. And the
reason why is because when you're reading books and you're growing and you're learning more,
your bank account has to grow and become larger as well. So I want to challenge you to the next
30 days to try to have as much personal development as you want or actually as you possibly can.
So being around these people made me think that I needed to make a real short episode to talk about
how your bank account, if it's not where you want it to be, the reason why is because your
personal development is probably not where you want it to be. So you have to put the action in.
You have to focus on becoming a better person,
focus on personal development. And naturally, your bank account is going to start to grow more.
You're going to figure out ways to make more money. You're going to become better at the
job that you already have. Your manager is going to start to notice that over the next few months
and so on and so forth. And when you start to become a better person, you get promotions or
you find a way to make your own money or a way to make your bank account even bigger.
So I want to continue to help you guys grow and challenge you and help you become the
best version of yourselves.
So I want to ask you to do me a favor to help me help you by sending me an email.
And my email is rob at mwfmotivation.com. Once again, rob at mwfmotivation.com. I finally
got my email back and working again. It had some crazy month where it just wouldn't work for some
reason. What I want you to do if you could, could you send me an email of what I can do
to help you the most right now? And what I mean by that, should I write another ebook to
help you out? Or should I develop a 30-day personal development transformation course?
Or should I make a few more openings in my success coaching to allow you to become one of my coaching
clients? What is it that I can do right now to help you grow the most? So send me an email,
to help you grow the most.
So send me an email, rob at mwfmotivation.com.
And the thing I'm gonna leave you with is to challenge yourself for the next 30 days
to have as much personal development,
to grow as much as you can,
to listen to as many podcasts as you can,
to read as much as you can,
and to network with as many people as you possibly can
because your bank account will only follow
once you go out and
do all of those things. So that's the challenge I'm going to leave you with. And the second thing
I'm going to leave you with, as always, make it your mission to make somebody else's day better.
Thank you so much for everything that you do, for listening, for the 100,000 downloads that
we've gotten of this episode in just a couple short months. And I hope that you go out and you have an amazing day.
