I just ask that you share it with a friend so that we can continue to grow and continue to
take over the world for the better. So today what I'm gonna talk about is your goals
and how to make your goals easier to attain.
And the way to do that is to give you this quick tip
on your goals because we have all set goals,
we've all been really excited about goals,
and then a couple weeks down the road
or a couple months down the road, we've forgotten them and we're like oh damn i forgot about their goal
that i really wanted and you have absolutely no progress towards towards that goal at all
so what happened in that sense it's not that you that you didn't want to achieve the goal
or else you wouldn't have set the goal in the first place. The thing that happened
is what is not seen is often forgotten. So you guys have all heard out of sight, out of mind.
What is not seen is often forgotten. Most likely what happened is that you forgot about your goal
and you stopped working towards it. So how do we combat forgetting about your goal so that you can continue to keep working towards it?
The easiest way is to put our goals everywhere that we possibly can so that we see them as often as possible.
Because I know that you've heard me say it time and time again.
If you listen to these episodes, we're 60 some odd episodes in.
You've heard me say it before if you've listened to other ones.
You've heard me say it before if you've listened to other ones. You've heard me say it time and time again, but a few times you have to hear stuff before it
actually is done. And what I have said over and over again is you have to write your goals down
and you have to write them down, not put them on your phone, not put them on your computer or
whatever it might be. You have to go old school on it. You have to get
a pen, you have to get a piece of paper, and you have to go old school and write them down like
people have been doing for hundreds of years. And the reason why is because your brain creates a
real connection to your goal at this point because your goal is now real. It is now physical. It is
tangible. You can hold it. You can grab it. You can see it in the
physical form. Your goal now really exists in the world. And some people know that they should do
this. They know they should write it down on a piece of paper. I know some of you have heard me
say it over and over again and still haven't done it. Some people refuse to do it. And the reason
why is because they're afraid to, because they know that that connection
will be real.
And that means that they have to put work in to attain the goals they want to.
So to take it even further, as far as writing your goals down, instead of just writing them
down, put them everywhere.
And I mean everywhere you possibly can besides, you know, on your windshield so that you can't see when you're driving. I mean everywhere. And I mean everywhere you possibly can besides, you know, on your windshield so that you
can't see when you're driving. I mean everywhere. Write them on your bathroom mirror with a dry
erase marker. I know that our goals, my girlfriend and I, we put our goals on our mirror so that we
see them every single day. And we have a certain amount of times, at least four times a week that
we're wanting to work out. So every time we mark off one of, you know, we took one, two, three, four, and then mark it off
each time at the beginning of the week, whenever we do it, we put up a new four and then mark it
off every single time that we do to make sure that we hold ourselves accountable. Then every time we
go to the bathroom or every time we wake up or get done with showering, whatever it might be,
we see our goals every single time that we're inside of the actual bathroom itself. You know, take your goals and put them on your
cell phone background or whatever it is that you want put on your cell phone background,
your computer background, put it in your car by your speedometer, put something in your wallet
so that you see it every time. Maybe you're trying to save a certain amount of money and
you've put it inside your wallet. So every time you open it up, you're like, oh crap,
I probably shouldn't buy this because I'm trying to save money. Set cell phone reminders or alerts
or any of those types of things for your goals so that it gives you alerts throughout the day.
Another thing is to create a vision board. And a vision board is where you print out pictures
of whatever it is you want.
You print out pictures or you cut pictures out of a magazine of the body that you want,
or the house that you want, or the car that you want. Everything that you want in your life. It
doesn't just have to be materialistic things. Whatever it is that you want, you put on this
vision board so that you see it as often as you possibly can. And it helps because sometimes you
have a long day because sometimes you have a
long day. Sometimes you have a really bad day at work and you know you need to go to the gym
and you see that picture of the body that you want. And it will help you make the decision
to go to the gym when all you really want to do is just go home, eat some bonbons,
take a shower and fall asleep. So you can listen to this episode and you can listen to my podcast every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday when they come out. You can listen to every episode, all 60 some odd
episodes and listen to all the tips that I give. But motivation ultimately is going to come from
within. My words are just words. What you do with them and the action that you take will then show
how successful that you're going to be.
So whatever it is that you want, you have to go out and get it. And you have to see those goals often and see them all over the place to push you to go after whatever it is to give you that extra
motivation when you might not want to go to the gym or you might not want to work harder, you
might not want to wake up early, whatever it might be. So you have to put them any way that you possibly can. And I hope that you do these. If nothing else,
if you write them down at the very least, look at your goals every single night and read them
to yourself every single morning as well. So every morning, go over your goals, read them to yourself
before you go to work, before you start working,
and then every single night before you go to bed. So you're constantly reminded your goals
at least twice a day. So that is the tip that I will give you is to write it down and at least
twice a day, make sure you're looking at it, but I would prefer it would help you even more if you
see it more than twice a day. So with that, I'm going to leave you with
the same way I leave you every single time. Please make it your mission today to make somebody else's
day better. If you see somebody on the side of the road that's a panhandler today and you don't
want to give them money, give them a bottle of water. Do something. Just make somebody else's
day better. Try to help out as much as you possibly can. And I hope that you have
an amazing day as well. Well, that's it for today's podcast. If you want the show notes
