And I have one question for you today.
Starting point is 00:01:31 And that one question is, have you started yet? Have you started yet? Do you know what I mean by that? And the question, have you started yet? Goes along with this. What is it that you want? What is it that you want in life? What is your passion? What do you want out of your life? And now that you know what it is, have you started it?
Starting point is 00:01:51 See, the problem is that most people, they count themselves out before they even try. What happens is they let their mind get in the way of their heart. See, the problem is your heart is always right. It's your gut feeling. It's always right. It always knows what the right thing to do is. It always knows what you want to do. It always knows what your dreams are. It is always right. The problem in the situation is your mind.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Your mind is the problem. Your mind will talk you out of everything that you want to do. It'll tell you to be reasonable. It'll tell you why you can't do it because it'll be too hard. It'll give you the reasons why you want to do. It'll tell you to be reasonable. It'll tell you why you can't do it because it'll be too hard. It'll give you the reasons why you can't do it, why you're not qualified enough, why you're not smart enough, why you're not good enough. See, the reason why is because what you want, what you really, really want seems so far away and it seems so far in the distance that it's hard to convince yourself that you can do it. But the key is to convince yourself that you can do it, that you can go for
Starting point is 00:02:51 your dream, that you can accomplish whatever it is that you want to accomplish. The key is to convince yourself that you can do it and that you will do it. And then from there, all you have to do is one thing. You convince yourself and you do one thing. That one thing is start. Now, does a marathon runner run the entire marathon all at once? You might think that they do, but they actually don't. No, what they do is they start with one single step, that first step. And then what they continue to do is put the foot in front of the other
Starting point is 00:03:24 every single time until they get to do is put the foot in front of the other every single time until they get to the end of the marathon. And they keep going until they get to the end. So for all of you listening that have a dream, you have a passion, you have something that you want to go after. Let me ask you this. If you know what it is, have you made your first step? know what it is. Have you made your first step? And if you haven't made your first step, why haven't you done so? And when are you going to do so? Have you taken the first step on your journey? You don't need to worry about the whole journey. You don't need to worry about the whole marathon. You don't need to worry about the destination or what might come up along the journey on the way to the destination. All you have to do, just like the marathon runner, is to take the first step.
Starting point is 00:04:08 You take the first step and then things start getting easier. And then what do you do after you take the first step? You take the next step. But you have to take the first step. Most people never take the first step. They count themselves out before they even get there. See, you never accomplish big things in life. Never, ever. What happens, you never accomplish big things in life. Never, ever. What happens is
Starting point is 00:04:26 you constantly accomplish little things. And after a long time, that leads to that one big thing. So what is it that you want? And what is your first step? What is your first step that you need to take? And what can you do today, right now, right this second, as soon as you get out of your car to take that first step. Like I said, the problem is most people don't even try. Don't be one of those people. I beg of you, take your first step and continue to keep stepping after that and you will eventually get there. And step every day until you are exactly where you want to be. And I promise you, you won't be mad about it when you look back and say, damn, that journey was really awesome.
