Welcome to today's episode. This is Rob Dial. And if you have not yet done so, please subscribe to us

you motivated throughout the day, not just three times a week. So with that being said, what I'm
going to talk about today is are you playing at level 10?
And what I mean by that, I'll give you an example.
I went to the Tony Robbins conference this past weekend.
It's called Unleash the Power Within, which if you've never been to a Tony Robbins seminar or event, I would definitely recommend it.
It is, for most people, completely life-changing.
For most people, completely life-changing.
And what I wanted to talk to you about is playing at level 10 because it was insane,
and I mean absolutely insane, to see 9,000 people in this room going all out 100% at level 10.
And I have been to hundreds and hundreds, maybe even thousands of concerts in my entire life.
And I've been to music festivals, and I've been to Tomorrow World, which is one of the craziest festivals in the entire world. And the amount of energy that I
saw at the Tony Robbins conference, the way he prefaced the entire seminar saying that he wanted
everybody to go out and put every single ounce of energy into it. Some of the festivals that I've
been to, all of the festivals I've been to, the energy did not compare to the energy that was in
this room. And what it really made me think about was that even when we think we're going all
out, we're really not going all out. So I wanted to talk to you about what level that you're playing
at. And I had this conversation with my business partner the other day, it was about a couple weeks
ago. And our new business is going really well, but I know it can go better.
And I'm going to tell you guys about the business in a little bit, a couple weeks probably.
We want to make sure we get the entire amount of stock in before we go and tell every single person that we know about our business.
But I had a conversation with him, and I had to ask him if we were playing at level 10, if we were working at level 10,
if we were going at level 10, if we were working at level 10, if we were going 100%
all in. And because the reality is 99.9% of the time, myself included, I don't think that we're
playing at level 10. We're not living life at level 10 all the time. And I use the word playing
on purpose, not just working, because are we doing everything at level 10 in our entire lives? Probably not.
So the reason why I'm saying playing and not just working is because it could be work,
it could be parenting, it could be family, it could be relationships, it could be charity,
it could be your personal health, it could be everything. Are you doing it at level 10?
See, most of us, we can get by. We're smart enough and we're talented enough to get by and probably do pretty well at level
five or six.
We can do pretty well at level five or six.
We can make pretty good money at level five or six.
We can look pretty good at level five or six.
Our finances could be pretty good at level five or six.
But do we just want to get by?
Do we do want, do we just want to do well?
If this is the one chance that we get to live this freaking life,
do we want to just sit back and do pretty good? Is that what we want? If you're listening to this
podcast, I'm assuming that you don't want to be just getting by, just average. You want to be
thriving. You want to be completely kicking ass is what you want. But that's the problem is that
most of us, we know that we can get by by doing just some of
the stuff we can do well. You know, my, my business partner and I, we were doing well,
but we could be absolutely dominating our space. And that was what I was asking him is,
is we're doing well. We're making sales. We're making at that point in time, we were making
about eight sales a day, 10 sales a day. It was in that average, somewhere around there.
And so I know a lot of people emailed me and messaged me asking me about my new company.
And I'm not going to tell you all about it yet.
We will be having the big launch, like I said.
But anyways, once we had this level 10 conversation, I was like, man, I feel like we're playing
at level six or seven.
We're doing well. But I was like, could we go feel like we're playing at like, you know, level six or seven, like we're
doing well. But I was like, could we go a hundred percent and use our abilities? So we decided to go
at level 10, like absolutely as much as we possibly could for a few days to see what happened. And you
know what happened in just a few days, we five X star growth, 500% growth in our business. Because when you jump up a level, even if it's just one
level, you don't get a little bit better results. You get compounded results. So if we jump up
four levels, we might 5X, 10X our sales. Our company might be doing that much better.
And so we had this huge, massive growth in just a couple days, and that resulted in a better week.
And then since that week, another week down the road, we're actually 40% up from the week before it.
So things are growing quickly, and they're growing very quickly because we decided to go from getting by to completely kicking ass in our business.
And that was the thing, is that I know that my business partner is talented.
I know that I'm talented.
And so when we're talented, we can get by doing just pretty good.
We can do well.
We can make pretty good money.
We can have pretty good bodies.
We can do pretty well.
And you got to think of it this way.
Our brains are like Ferraris.
They are incredible machines.
They're like Ferraris.
And they're capable of doing more than we could possibly comprehend.
But most of the time, I feel like most of us are using our brains like Hondas.
They work well.
They're great machines.
They're adequate.
But those Hondas don't freaking go 200 miles an hour.
And some of you guys might be out there listening and going,
damn, I wish my brain was actually running at a Honda.
I feel like I'm probably running at a 1962 Pinto at this point.
Some of you guys might be saying that.
Some of you may have been running like your brain's been running like a 1962 Pinto at this point. Some of you guys might be saying that. And some of you may have been running like, your brain's been running like a 1962 Pinto for the past 10
years. And maybe that Pinto only has three tires on it. So what gets you from point A to point B,
from, you know, where you want to be to where you really want to kick ass is, you know, can you take
it up a notch? Can you do better? Can
you go out at level 10? Can you go to your full capacity? You know, the Honda gets you from point
A to point B, but that's just getting by. That's just getting you there. Why not freaking hightail
it in a Ferrari and just really use your brain the way it should be used? And the thing about it,
and I was listening to this podcast and I'm so glad that one of my coaching clients she actually reached out to me and said you have to listen to this podcast episode
and the guy I listened to him and I was just blown away by the way that he was speaking because he
actually had a marine the most the toughest man in the world live with him for 31 days and
and talks about what he learned from having that marine live with him. And I reached out to this guy and he's actually going to be on the podcast.
So you'll be actually able to be able to actually hear this interview.
But what he says, one of the things that was the most impactful for me is he says that
our brains usually tell us to quit when we're about 40% done with what the 40% of what we
can actually do.
So if you're going on a run
and your body starts to tell you,
your brain starts to tell you,
you know what, it's done, you're tired, you're done.
Your brain is telling you that
because our brains are 2 million years old.
Our brains are supposed to keep us safe.
They're not supposed to allow us to grow
and be able to get better every single day.
It's supposed to keep us safe
so we don't injure ourself.
Completely understood. But that means that when your brain tells you that you're done,
you're only about 40% done. You still have another 60% left in the tank where you can go more,
you can go further, you can do better. And that's the difference between playing at level five and
playing at level six versus playing at level 10 and really getting everything that you possibly
can. And when I talk about level 10, I was able to see that we went to the Tony Robbins conference
yesterday and it started at 8am and it didn't end until 2pm or excuse me, it didn't end until 2am.
So we were there for literally, what is that? 18 hours. And it was just a result of playing at
level 10. And when you're playing level 10, our bodies were naturally, we didn't eat a lot, barely got any sleep. But for some reason, our bodies were able to produce
this massive amounts of energy. By the time I left at 2 a.m. in the morning, I had more energy
than at any point in time of the entire day. And what it showed me was that I'm capable of way more
energy, of way more than I could possibly imagine, all I have to do is just step
it up and try to go levels up and try to go at level 10. When I went at level 10, it was going
crazy and dancing with all of the other people and just absolutely freaking losing it. My body just
kept producing more and more energy. I've never had so much dopamine running through my brain.
It was insane. So let me ask you this question. Are you playing at level 10?
Let me challenge you. What level are you playing it in everything, in work, in your relationships,
in your family, in your personal fitness, in your diet, in your charitable giving? What level are
you playing it? And let me ask you this question. If you want to seriously take this question,
I want you to seriously envision this.
What would your life look like
if you decided to play it at a level 10?
If you've been playing at level five or six,
think about what your life would be like in 10 years
if you played at level 10 for 10 years.
How freaking incredible would your life be
if you played at level 10 from now on?
If you stopped getting by,
if you stopped just doing pretty well, If your finances were stopped being pretty good? Or you
stopped saving a pretty good amount of money? Or you stopped going into debt?
Whatever it might be. Or your body stopped looking pretty good? And all of
those things went from pretty good to incredible. What's the difference? See the
problem is level 10 requires more energy. It requires more work. It requires more brainpower. But the payoff, the payoff is so much more worth it in that sense.
But it's easy not to play at level 10 because if it was easy, everybody would do it. It's easy not to go level 10. It's easy to kind of get by. It's easy to sit around and watch House of Cards for an entire weekend. So I want you to think deeply about this.
What would your life look like if you decided, you know what, today I'm going to play at level 10.
I'm going to go all out in every single aspect of my life. When I lay my head down, I'm going to be
so damn tired that I'm asleep by the time my head hits the bed. And then I'm going to wake up and do
the exact same thing and then see what type of life I create over the next few weeks, over the next few
years. So when you try to wake up tonight or tomorrow, then you go in and go at it again.
And you take it one day at a time. So you go today. You know, for you listening right now,
it might be early morning, might be driving to work. You might say, hey, what would happen if
I go level 10 all day today? Level 10 in every possible thing that I'm doing. Level 10
in my relationship, level 10 in communicating with my coworkers, level 10 in advertising my business,
everything. Because what you have to realize, like I said, it compounds up. It gets better
every single level that you go up. So we went up a few levels in our business and hey,
gets better every single level that you go up. So we went up a few levels in our business and hey,
it went up 500% in just a couple of days. You never know. It might do the exact same thing for you. So what I ask you, what I'm going to challenge you is for today, can you go level 10 with
everything and not go to sleep until you're absolutely dead tired? You put everything that
you can into it and then see what that feeling feels like when you go level 10 for the day. See how productive you feel when you go level 10 for the day. So can you do that?
And then can you wake up tomorrow and go, you know what? That was so good yesterday. I want to try it
again. And then the next day, it was so good that yesterday, I'm going to do it again and try it for
a week and see what that week feels like and see how productive that you feel. Because here's the
thing. Once you achieve those things, if you listen to my podcast, it was actually back in January, I believe. Achievement
is addictive. It's so addicting to achieve stuff. So when you go and you have a really good day and
you just really kill it, guess what you're going to want to do the next day? You're going to go
out and be super productive again. So the challenge I have for you today is can you play at level 10
today? If it's the morning for you, it's noon for you, if it's afternoon, the rest of today,
can you go level 10 with everything?
Every possible thing.
If you didn't work out today and you're thinking about it, figure out a way to go to the gym
and go level 10 at the gym and see how productive you feel today.
And then once you get done with today, try to see if you can carry it into the rest of
the week with you.
