podcast designed to transform you from who you are today into who you want to be. There's
no fluff here, just life-changing content. My name is Rob Dial, and the podcast starts now.

episode.
And if you didn't hear the massive announcement in the last episode, for the month of November, I am giving a trial. You can try out my group
coaching, which has over 40 hours of video lessons on how to change your life, how to get motivation,
how to stop procrastinating, how to make more money, attract more money, the psychology behind
it. Basically, what you need to learn, hopefully, to get you to where
you want to be. And you can try it out for seven days for $1. And if you decide to stay, obviously,
it's a massive 30% discount from what the normal price is. I've never offered this before on the
podcast. I've only offered it in super, super special occasions. But because of the fact that I know how important
it is to make December a really good month, obviously you want to get a little bit of a
head start going into December, which is why I'm offering it in November so that you can have the
best 2018 that you possibly can. So if you're interested in the seven-day $1 trial, send me
an email, rob at mwfmotivation.com. I'll send you a
link with a video, explains everything. And if it seems like something that you want to do,
then you can go ahead and try it out for seven days, which is the awesome thing about it. So
send me an email, rob at mwfmotivation.com. All right. Today, what we're going to be talking
about is growing into yourself. So you have to realize this. If you're listening to this, the reason why you're probably listening
to this is because there's a part of you that feels like you're not exactly where you want to
be in life. You want more of something. You want more happiness. You want more money. You want
more success. You want more fun, whatever it might be. So how do you get to that spot? It's very easy actually to get into that spot. Here's the
problem is that most people think to get a lot more happiness or a lot more success or a lot
more money or a lot more fun or any of those things requires a lot of work. None of those
require a lot of work. You just have to get really good at planning. So I'm going to teach you guys
how to do that. How do you get to the spot where you want to be?
Well, number one, you have to know where you want to be.
Most people don't know where they want to be.
Most people don't have any clarity of where they want to be and what they want to do or
any of those things.
So first off, you have to know where you want to be.
If you get into a car and you say, here's my destination on your GPS, your destination needs
to, your GPS needs to know two things, where you are and where you want to go. And that's it. From
there, it'll start to figure it out. So it's very easy and it's often overlooked because of the fact
that it's so easy. So right now you are at point A, where you currently are the present moment,
you are at point A and you want to get to point B.
That's the easiest way to think of it. Now, a big part of this, like I said, is you need to know
what point B is with clarity, with detail, whatever it is. And most people don't know what
it is. So if you haven't gotten to the point where you know what point B is, get out a pen and paper
right now, pause it. If you're driving,
don't do this, but come back to this. And you have to write down with a pen and paper,
what do I want in my life? And be very, very specific of exactly what it is. Not just a nice
house or I want to be successful. It needs to be very, very specific of exactly what it is that
you want. If you want a nice house, where's that house going to be? How much are you going to pay
for it? How many rooms? How many square feet? All of these things. You need to know in detail exactly what
it is that you want. So that's point B once you figure out point B. And once you figure out what
point B is, you need to ask yourself this. At point B, if I get myself to point B, who am I
at that point in time? What has that person learned? We're putting yourself in the future.
What does that person learned? What have they read? How do they carry themselves? Who do they
hang out with? What people have they gotten rid of in their lives? What habits have they created?
What habits have they gotten rid of? What fears did they have to overcome?
Was it easy for them to get to point B?
How many times did they fail?
Did they fail often?
Did they fail big?
What was it?
So you have to ask yourself these questions.
So let me go through one more time.
Once you get to, you know what point B is,
you have to know what point B is.
You have to ask yourself,
who do you need to be at point B to have gotten yourself to point B?
What has that person learned? What have they read? How do they carry themselves?
Who do they hang out with? What people have they gotten rid of in their lives?
What kind of habits do they have? What fears have they overcome? Was it easy for them to get there?
How many times did they fail? Did they fail over and over and over again?
And then some way they just went, oh man, I figured it out. And they got better.
Did they keep pushing themselves when things got really hard? And you ask yourself these questions
because you need to literally plan out the person that you have to become to get yourself to point B.
Here's the problem that most people make.
Most people think, okay, here's where I want to be in life, if they even get that far,
number one.
But if they get that far and they think, here's where I want to be in life, what they do is
they think about all of the things they need to do externally, not all of the things they
need to do externally, not all of the things they need to do internally.
Because if you want to be at point B, you know at this point in time at point B,
you're not that person and that's why you don't have that success. In order to have the success
that you want, you have to become the person that deserves that success. Does that make sense?
So you don't need to plan out what you need to do externally.
You need to plan out who you need to become and become that person.
So then the next step is to make a plan on how to become that person.
What do you have to do?
What do you have to read? How much money do you need
to invest in yourself? What do you have to learn? Who do you have to meet? What habits do you need
to create? What habits do you need to get rid of? How much do you need to invest in yourself?
You have to realize that if you're going to get to point B and point B is a big number,
a big goal, or a big person that you need to become, you're going to have to invest a lot
of money into yourself. I don't mean go out and buying clothes. I mean buying coaches,
people that have already done what you want to do. If you want to be really big in real estate,
you need to either find someone that's very successful that can teach you success or even
someone that's very successful in real estate and say, listen, I found out what my goal is. I want to be a successful real estate agent. I want to be a successful real estate
investor, whatever it might be. And you say, I will pay you whatever I need to. If I need to
take all of the money out of my bank account, I will give it to you and I will figure out a way
to get by if you just teach me whatever it is that I have to learn. If you say that to somebody,
do you realize how much commitment that shows? Do you realize
that person's probably not going to say, hey, clear out your bank account. They're going to say,
okay, they're either going to say, you don't need to pay me anything. Or they're going to say,
pay me a lot less because they see the fire that's in your eyes. And so you literally plan
out the person that you need to become. And you need to realize, stop putting your money into
things that don't make you money. A new cell phone does not make you money. A new car does not make you money.
Spending money into your mind is what's going to make you the most money. Spending money to acquire
the mentors or the coaches if you have to. If you can get them for free, cool. But if you have to
pay for them, pay for them. I pay for a lot of mentors, a lot of different things in different aspects of my life because they will get me to where I want to be much quicker than if I were
to figure it out myself. So you figure out point A and you figure out point B. This is what they
call gap analysis. You're literally doing a gap analysis for yourself. If you don't know what gap
analysis is, you can Google
it. You can read about it. The person that you are right now cannot attract and cannot acquire
all of the success that you want. You are not that person yet, but you have to become that person.
So what do you do? You focus every single day into building yourself into that person.
That's what you have to realize. Most
people think that in order to be successful, they need to work harder. They need to go put more time
into doing certain things. No, you need to work harder on yourself because who you are now cannot
attract and not get all of the success that you want in life. But if you focus on building yourself
as if you're building a mansion, right? And each day is one
brick and you have to lay that brick and become that person the best that you possibly can.
Each day, you just lay a brick as perfectly as you possibly can. Over time, you will have built
the mansion. So you have to focus on building yourself, not building your life and all of these
different things. People are focusing and all of these different things.
People are focusing on all of the wrong things.
Because if you know someone that's extremely successful, you know that they have a completely
different mindset.
They have a completely different worldview than most people you hang out with.
That's what you need to do.
That's what you need to become.
That's what you need to focus on.
So the assignments that I'm going to give you is write down with a pen and paper and ask yourself these questions.
Where am I now?
Where do I want to go?
And what do I need to do to become the person that's at point B?
Where am I now?
Where do I need to go?
And what do I need to do to become the person that I need to
be at point B? And the next episode is going to deal with this. It's going to be called Act As If.
And it's going to tie perfectly into growing into yourself and how to actually become this person.
And that's going to be the next episode that comes up. So if you like this episode,
