But there's also over 40 hours of video lessons to help you along the way,

And I'm continuing to add through those and do Facebook lives almost about two to three

as well.
So if that sounds like something you think would help you, there are much, much more
in-depth lessons than just the podcast episodes.

So today I'm going to talk about probably the question that everybody is searching for throughout their lives
and that is how to find your passion.
And how to find your passion, this is actually, I believe this is an ancient Japanese thing,
term which is ikigai.
I-K-I-G-A-I.
And I could be butchering the word.
But basically, ikigai says there's four things that you need to figure out in order to find your passion.
Because a lot of people are out there and like, man, I don't know what I'm passionate about.
I feel so lost.
I don't have anything that I'm passionate about
and that I want to make money off of my passion and I hate my job and all of these different
things. I hear it all of the time. And so I want to break down Ikigai, if I'm saying that correctly
once again, and tell you what they say. And it's very, very simple. And if you have a pen and paper
with you and you're listening to this, this would be a good time to jot down some notes.
and paper with you and you're listening to this, this would be a good time to jot down some notes.
If you're on a run, if you're working out, if you're in your car, obviously you're not going to be jotting down some notes, but let what I say kind of jog your thoughts, jog your brain,
so you can kind of get a little bit of an idea of what your passion might be.
So the first thing, the first part of figuring out your passion is the word love.
So what do you love to do?
Anything.
And here's the thing.
Most people are like, but you know, I love to do this, but I can't get paid for it.
That's completely false.
Like for like, you know, some people are like, I love to play basketball, but I can't get
paid for it because I'm not in the NBA.
Well, yeah, you can.
I know a guy who runs a Facebook page called I
Love Basketball and he makes millions of dollars off of this. And I believe he started because he
was shorter and was able to dunk and started putting lessons online of how to strengthen
your legs to be able to dunk when you're shorter, right? He makes millions of dollars per year
teaching people these types of things and running these Facebooks and
these Instagrams. Guys, he makes millions of dollars per year. He makes more than some NBA
players and he doesn't even play in the NBA. So clearly he can make money off of his passion. He
loves basketball, I'm sure. So the question I have for you is what do you love? You can make money
off of anything nowadays. The internet is amazing because you can make money doing anything.
If you are interested in something, guess what?
There is somebody in the world that is also interested in that thing.
You can create the community around that.
So what do you love to do is the first question to ask yourself.
The second question to ask yourself is, what are you good at? At ask yourself is what are you good at? At this
point, what are you good at? And if you're not very good at much, what could you become good at?
What could you get better at? Right? So what are you good at? Think about it. What is something
that you're, are you more athletic than most people? Are you good at playing cards? Are you
good at playing basketball? What is it that you're good at? So number one, what do you love? Number two, what are you good at? Number three, what does the world
need? Right? What does the world need? And you might say, oh, the world needs peace. The world
needs this. Of course the world needs peace. But you know, there was a guy out there that said
the world needs to be able to learn how to dunk. And this guy decided to be
able to start this and make millions of dollars off of it. Like the guy I was telling you about
earlier, the I love basketball guy, right? It doesn't have to be solving all of the world's
problems. You don't have to be Gandhi or anything like that. What does the world need? What is a
niche, a market that you could fill, right? What is a niche or market that you could fill?
But what does the world need? If it could be something that could be a mission of yours,
something that drives you, well, then of course that would be amazing. But you might not be able
to think of that. So don't think of something that has to change the world. But what does the world
need? What do people need? Okay, that's question number three. And question number four is what could you get paid for? Right? The best part about the internet, like I said, is that you can make money.
I'm telling you guys, once I looked into the rabbit hole of how to make money online,
it is a deep, deep, deep, deep, deep hole. There's millions, and I mean millions of ways to make
millions of dollars online. And I kid you not,
there's something that you could find to make money online. If you hate your job,
I guarantee you, you can make more money online. I guarantee you that you could do it and you could
probably enjoy it a lot more. And I guarantee you, you could do it while traveling. And I can
guarantee all of this because I was able to do it. I was able to figure out a way to make money online and travel for six months internationally, right? While
tripling my business while I was doing it. It's possible you can do it as well. So what could you
get paid for? If you love Dungeons and Dragons, there are millions of other people out there
that love Dungeons and Dragons. I'm sure you can figure out a way to make money off of it. Okay?
So that's it. It's really that simple. Those are the four questions you ask yourself. What do I love? What am I good at? What does the world need?
And what could I get paid for? And the best thing to do is as you're asking yourself these four
questions is to make a massive list. What do I love to do? Make the list as long as you possibly
can. Brainstorm. Thought jog.
What do you love to do?
What are you good at?
Brainstorm.
Thought jog.
Put as many things as you possibly can.
What does the world need?
What can I get paid for?
And what you do is you try to look to see if these four circles, if you think of like a, I think it's called a Venn diagram.
I don't know.
It's been a long time since I've been in school and I didn't pay any attention when I was
there anyways.
A Venn diagram, I believe is what it's called when you have the
circles and they overlap with each other, right? So if you look at love and good at, in world needs
and paid for, is there a place where the four of these overlap? Because this is where you could
make a lot of money, right? You figure out what you love, you figure out what you're good at,
you figure out the world needs, you figure out what you could get figure out what you're good you figure out the world needs you figure out what you could get paid for you can make a lot of money in the center
of the four of those circles so ask yourself those questions if you don't know the answers
to those questions journal it every single morning keep asking yourself those if you don't know
what you could do then what i would recommend is that you go out and do things you've never
done before if you're like i don't know what i love to do i don't know what i'm good at go and do things you've never done before. If you're like, I don't know what I love to do. I don't know what I'm good at.
Go and do things you've never done before.
Go places you've never been before.
Do all of these things.
Do things you've never done before to see if you can find something that you love to
do, that you're good at, that the world needs, and that you get paid for.
