Today, I'm going to talk about how
to visualize the three-step process to visualization and how this works with the law of
attraction. So with this, I'm going to teach you the three-step process. It is a lot more simple
than you think that it is, and it's going to train your brain to get you what you want through this
daily practice and this daily visualization. My recommendation to you
is to use this to learn it, to get very clear on what it is that you want and very clear on what
it is that you're visualizing, and then do this for 10 minutes every single morning. That's it.
10 minutes every single morning will absolutely change your life. And the beautiful thing about
this, everybody, is this is a 100% free tool. There's so many people that are out there that are investing into buying books
and programs and courses and all of that is beautiful. I definitely recommend all of that.
But what's cool about this is this is literally a free tool that you can use every single day.
Not only is it free, it's really, really simple. So let me talk about why you want to visualize
before I actually tell you exactly how to visualize. So the reason why you want to visualize before I actually tell you exactly how to
visualize.
So the reason why you want to visualize is because you're training your brain to look
for and search for the things that will help you create the life that you want.
So that's one of the reasons why you're looking for and searching for the things that your
brain needs and your body needs in order to create the life that you want.
Another reason why that's
important is because all too often we see a really nice house, for instance, and we're like,
oh my gosh, that house is so amazing. I would love to have that house. But deep down inside,
there's a part of us that makes us go, yeah, but I'll probably never get it. Right? Have you ever
felt that way before where you're just like, yeah, I'll probably never get that house. Or you see somebody on Instagram and they take this amazing, beautiful trip to Italy
and they're traveling and they're on the beach and they're eating the best food. And you're
looking at you like, man, that would be so nice to be able to take that trip. But subconsciously,
you get that feeling in the back of your head and it's like, yeah, but I'll probably never get it.
Have you ever had that feeling before? I know I have. I know a lot of people have. And it's that feeling of,
I probably am not good enough or I probably will not have it that actually holds us back from
getting what it is that we actually truly want in life. And then the last reason why I think
visualization is so important is because visualization gets you excited for what it
is that you want. So instead
of looking at it and saying, oh man, you know what? It would be nice. It'd be nice to have that
life. It'd be nice to have that house. It'd be nice to have that luxury trip. It'd be nice to
have that family, all of that stuff. It gets you excited about actually going out and working
towards that thing because you've realized that you don't have it. You've seen how amazing it is.
You've felt how amazing it feels to have that. And you come back to your normal life and you're
like, man, you know what? I'm actually more motivated to work harder now. So you get more
motivated to work harder towards whatever it is. And the reason why this is important is because
your subconscious doesn't have any filtering system like the filtering system I'm about to
tell you about in a second. Your subconscious, whatever comes into it through the conscious mind, it automatically stores as
true. And so what's beautiful about that is your subconscious doesn't know. So if you were to go
and buy this beautiful house that you want, or if you were to visualize going and buying this
beautiful house that you want, your subconscious thinks that both of them are real. And so if you're
holding yourself back based off of your belief of whether you can or cannot do it, tricking your
subconscious to storing it automatically as true is basically normalizing the feeling of the life
that you're trying to create. It's making it feel like it's already done. And when you've already
done something, it makes it easier to go out and do it again, right? So if you haven't gone out and created this life physically, what if you
go out and create this life mentally and visually and trick your subconscious into thinking that
you already have? So let's talk about how to do this. So there's a part of your brain, which is
starting to get very popular. People are finally starting to talk about a lot. It's called the
reticular activating system. If you've never heard about the reticular activating system, it's a part of your brain that
is your brain's filter. So if you look around you, if you listen to what's around you, if you feel
your chair, your t-shirt, your pants, everything, there's billions of bits of information that your
brain could pay attention to. But there's no way to pay attention to all of them. Your brain would
be on absolute overload. And so it filters out billions of bits of information every single
second and only allows in 200 bits of information per second. That's it. 200 bits of information per
second is all that it will allow in. It only allows in what it needs to allow in. What makes
sense to it? What is important? This is the reason why if
you're walking through a crowd and somebody says your name, even if they're not talking to you and
you're not paying attention to them, your brain automatically clicks in and pays attention to
that person because your brain has let through and not filtered that out. When it filtered out
all of the other conversations that are happening, every other word except for your name. And you
notice, oh my God, somebody just said my name and maybe they're talking to me and they don't happen to be talking to you, right?
So what's cool about that is that you can use this reticular activating system the way that
you want to. So another example of how the reticular activating system works, most popular
example is if you've ever bought a new car and you go and buy that car, before you buy the car,
before it ever starts to come into your awareness, you don't ever really see the car anywhere. But then when you buy the
car, you realize that so many other of the exact same car that you have exists. Why? Because your
brain is not filtering it out anymore. Your brain is actually starting to pay attention to it.
And if you've been listening to my podcast for a while, I actually had this happen to me not too
long ago, where I saw a picture of a friend from middle school, like 20 something years ago. I saw a picture of him from middle school. I
haven't thought about him in 20 years. And then the next day I was at a coffee shop and I was
like, oh my God, there's Ryan. And I literally thought I saw him. I didn't see him. It was
somebody else that looked like him. But the only reason why I thought it was him was because I saw
a picture of him on Facebook the day before. My reticular activating system was paying attention to, hey, Ryan. And then so when someone looked like him, my brain went,
oh my gosh, that's Ryan. So your brain is in charge of what it filters out. Why don't you
take control of the filtering system? Pay attention to what you see, what you hear,
what you feel, what you taste, what you smell. How can you use all of these to bring in the visualization that you need to?
Hey, growing up, cereal was one of the best parts about being a kid, but I had to give it up
because I realized it was full of sugar and a lot of junk that we really shouldn't be eating.
But that was until I found Magic Spoon. Magic Spoon has zero grams of sugar,
13 to 14 grams of protein, and only four net grams of carbs for each serving,
and only 140 calories per
serving as well. It's keto friendly, gluten free, grain free, soy free, low carb and GMO free. And
you can try their variety four pack with cocoa, fruity, frosted and peanut butter. And my girlfriend
actually ordered these before they sponsored the podcast and my favorite is cinnamon. So definitely
make sure to try out their cinnamon. So go to magicspoon.com slash mindset to grab a variety pack and try it today. And be sure to use

So let's talk about how this works. The three-step process. Now that I've explained why visualization
is important and exactly how to use it, let's talk about the actual three-step process of how to do
it. So the way I like to explain it is GPS. You wake up every single morning and you
set your GPS. The same way that I'm in Austin, Texas right now. And if I wanted to drive to
Dallas, I don't know if I can necessarily get to a friend's house in Dallas. But if I went into my
GPS on my phone and I put it in, I will literally have Google Maps take me exactly to my friend's
house. Why? Because I simply got in my car and I set my GPS.
So what if you were to set your GPS of the life that you want every single day? How different
would your life be if you set your GPS? So the GPS is an acronym. And here's what it stands for.
It stands for goal, path, and screen. Goal, path, and screen. So let's go through each one of these
and I'll tell you how this works in a visualization process. So goal. When we're sitting down to visualize something, what is
your goal? Are you clear on exactly what it is that you want? Here's the interesting thing that
I've found of coaching thousands of people is that most people have a little bit of an idea
of what they want in life. The majority of people are not clear on what they want in life.
And they're really pissed that they don't have the life that they want when they've never actually figured what the life they want
actually is. They've never become clear on it. So the first thing that you need to do if you're
going to visualize something is you need to become extremely, extremely, extremely clear
on exactly what it is that you want. The house that you want, the family that you want, the
money you want in your bank account, the luxury travel that you want to do, you need to become extremely clear on exactly what it is
that you want. The more clear that it is, the more likely you are to be able to visualize it.
If you have a goal, but you're not very clear on what the goal is, it's going to be hard to
visualize it. It's going to be hard to visualize it every single day. So when you look at your
goals, have you put your goal that you want to visualize on paper?
Have you written it down?
There's a study that was done in the 70s
and it was done at Harvard.
And they found out that of their graduating class of,
you know, people that were going for their MBA
and they were graduating,
only 3% of them actually wrote down their goals.
That's it.
3% of them took their goals,
wrote them down in a piece of paper.
10 years later in the 80s, they followed up with all of those students. And those 3% of students
that wrote down their goals were 10 times more successful than the other 97% simply because they
became very clear on what they wanted so they could see it, work towards it, and they wrote
it down on a piece of paper. If you're not writing your goals down, you are holding yourself back from everything
that you can do.
So the first part of visualization is you've got to get your goal done.
You've got to become very clear on exactly what it is that you want.
And here's a tip that I'm going to give you around goals.
You might be putting down goals lower than what you actually want because you don't want
to be disappointed.
Do not allow yourself to put down goals that are lower than what you truly want so that you don't get disappointed. Write
down and visualize and figure out what it is that you want. Become very clear on what is it you want
that is the actual goal that you want. If it's a big lofty goal, we used to call them BHAGs,
big, hairy, audacious goal. If you got a BHAG, that's a good thing. A big, scary goal is a good
thing. So the first thing you need to become very clear on
is what is your goal?
What do you want in life?
What are you working for?
What do you stand for?
Who are you?
What is it that you want?
That's the first thing you got to figure out, okay?
What is your goal?
Next thing, what is the path to get there?
Now, this is the part that might be
a little bit fuzzy for people.
And the beautiful thing about the path is that the path is never going to be perfect. It's never going to stay
the same. But as long as you know what you're going for, the path can change. There might be
a couple of detours. No big deal. When you get into, if I were to get in my car right now in
Austin and I have to drive three hours to Dallas, I can't see, I can't see Dallas and I can't see
the entire path to get there. So I'm going to have to come
to each turn when I need to come to the mid-side. Do I turn left? Do I go straight? Do I turn right?
Right? That's the way that it works. So what is the path that you have figured out so far?
If I'm looking at it, I'm saying, okay, this is my 10-year goal that I'm going to visualize. I'm
going to visualize it every single day. I'm going to figure out how I'm going to get there. I promise
you that that path is going to change every once in a while. There's going to be some detours. There's going to be some
U-turns. There's going to be some crashes along the way. You've got to figure out what is your goal.
Start to think about that goal. Start to become very clear. And what is the path to get there?
If nothing else, here's what I want you to visualize. What do I need to do today to get
me one step closer to my 10-year goal? That's simple. What do I need to do today to get me one step closer
to my 10-year goal? That's simple. You don't need to worry about what you need to do next month,
next year, two years, three years down the road. What do I need to do today that is the next path
of my road trip that I'm on in life that's going to get me to where I want to be? What is the path
that I need to take in order to get there? So that is the P side of it.
And then the S side of it, the screen, is you need to think as if you're going to a movie theater
and you're just going to watch this movie on a screen. Okay, you need to see the life that you
want. Now, some people for visualization, you can see it. It's very clear. You're very detailed.
You're a visual person. For some people, when you sit down to visualize, it's not a whole lot of actual seeing it, but sometimes it's the thoughts that come
through. That's still important. Sometimes it's the feeling of acquiring that that comes through.
That's still important. So if you sit down and you're like, I want to visualize
the perfect house that I want. And you sit down and it's dark and you don't see a whole lot
the first time doing it.
It's okay. You become better at visualization the more that you do it. It's literally an art.
It's a practice that you need to keep doing. So if you don't see it right away, no big deal.
Can you feel the feeling of accomplishment of having that house? Can you feel the feeling
of excitement walking into that door knowing that it's yours? Can you feel the feeling of excitement walking into that door, knowing that it's yours? Can you feel the feeling
of walking into, you know, and opening the door and hopping into the Ferrari that you want or the
Lamborghini? Or can you feel the feeling of having, you know, being completely surrounded by love for
this amazing family that you built? Can you bring in the visuals and the feelings of what it would
like to have this life, this goal, this love, this joy,
this happiness, whatever it is that you want to take that luxury trip, whatever it is that you
want. Can you bring in those feelings every single day and do this for literally 10 minutes?
GPS. You set your GPS on what you want your life to be every single morning. And what's cool about
it is because you're setting your GPS, your reticular activating system will start to respond to your external world every single day. So the beautiful thing about it is
that you'll start to notice the people, places, opportunities, and things that will help you
create this life that you want. Once again, your brain doesn't know the difference between what is
real and what is visualized. It stores everything is true. And sometimes it's all about
believing that it can happen. It's about normalizing that life that you want. And if you
sit down and you start thinking about creating this life or maybe creating this business that
changes the world and impacts millions of lives, and then you go to the coffee shop and start
working, you're going to start having ideas. You're going to start thinking of people that
are in your network. You're going to start meeting people that are on the same path as
you. And you're going to start to zero in on who you need to hang out with, who you don't need to
hang out with, how you need to spend your time, how you don't need to spend your time, what you
need to be doing, what you don't need to be doing. And you become very clear and your external world
will start to fall into place simply because you wake up every single morning and you set your GPS
for what it is that you actually want. So when people talk about the law of attraction,
do I believe in the law of attraction? Absolutely. Do I believe that the universe is conspiring to
make my life amazing? Absolutely. Do I have proof that I can physically show empirical data that
exists? I don't. I have a lot of anecdotal things that have happened to me in my life.
But if you're an analytical person, you're like, I don't know if I believe in that law of attraction
shit. If you are that type of person, think of it this way. The law of attraction is your brain
not filtering out what you need to create the life that you want to. And so you get all of
these coincidences. You get all of these synchronicities and it feels like, oh my God,
I'm starting to get momentum towards this life I want. I'm starting to notice that the things that I want are coming into my
life, right? And sometimes it's not just about seeing it, but feeling it, but getting the mind
and the body to both believe that this is true. Like there is no other result. I'm going to get
this life that I want. Like that is what truly what manifestation is, is I'm going to get what
I want. I believe it. I know it's going to happen. I believe it. I know it's going to happen.
There's not a tiny bit of doubt that tells me that I won't get the life that I want.
And if you can visualize it, if you can see it, if you can store it inside of your subconscious,
if you can feel it physically in your body and you take 10 minutes every single morning to set
your GPS, you're going to start to notice that it feels a
lot like the universe is conspiring to make you get what you want. It's going to throw all of
these coincidences at you. You're going to notice people, oh my gosh, I was literally thinking about
this and this popped up. I was literally thinking about how I need to connect to this person and
they called my phone. I was thinking about how I need a business partner and then my friend just
introduced me to this person. It seems like they're perfect. You're going to notice these
coincidences and these synchronicities that are going to blow your mind simply because you're
waking up and you're being intentional with the life that you want by setting your GPS.
So my question to you is what do you need to start setting your GPS to? Get very clear on what it is
that you want. Find that goal. See the path every single
morning of what you need to do each day. See it on the screen. Feel it. And I promise you,
you do this for the next few years, you'll be really surprised at where your life is.
So that's what I got for you for today's episode. If you love this episode, please share it with
