Starting point is 00:00:48 I'm going to teach you to have an inner bitch exorcism. What does that mean? I don't know. You're going to find out pretty soon what that means in just a second. People think because I am the quote unquote mindset mentor, that I have no mindset problems, that I just wake up and I float on a cloud of rainbows and I hang out with unicorns all day and life is just beautiful and life is amazing and life is easy and life is great and I just conquer the world. And nothing could be further from the truth. If I'm being honest with you, I can teach this because I deal with this the most. I deal with my mindset the most. I feel that I am the guinea pig in my own life to be able to teach these things. I don't ever teach something unless I've already tried it
Starting point is 00:01:30 myself and it works in my life. And so I use myself as the guinea pig. And there's times when my mindset is completely in the dumps, where I am making all of the excuses, where I don't want to freaking do anything. And I have to have strategies to pull myself out of it. And that's what we're going to talk about today is some of the strategies that I use to pull myself out of the BS when I find myself there. And, you know, I coach people on this stuff and people who are coaches are usually coaches because they got, they worked really, really hard at one freaking thing. Like if someone's a basketball coach, they're a basketball coach because they worked really hard at basketball. If someone is a
Starting point is 00:02:11 relationship coach, it's because they worked really hard at their relationships. I'm a mindset coach because I've worked really hard on my mindset. You know, I had to work really hard at one thing. And most coaches had to work really hard at one thing because they at one point in time struggled with it, but did not want to struggle with it anymore. I've had to work really hard on my mindset because my inner voice, my inner bitch can be really bad sometimes. It can talk a whole lot of shit. It can tell me what not to do, why I should stop doing everything that's bringing amazing results into my life and why I should just sit on the couch and scroll on Instagram and eat some freaking cookies, right? So I have to work really hard at keeping myself in a positive state. And when I say positive state, I don't say positive state
Starting point is 00:02:53 as in just ignore all of the negative. What I mean is I've got to stop focusing on the negative and start focusing on the positive because if I focus on the positive, I can conquer the negative. I don't ignore the negative. I just conquer the negative. And so I have to work really hard at keeping myself positive and my mindset in the right place. And when I say this, this is the reason why I always want to tell people what's going on in my life. I don't want to be a guru. I don't want people to look up to me and be like, oh my God, you're the guru of mindset. No, screw that. I struggle and I just have strategies to pull myself out. And I feel obligated to teach this to people because I know a lot of other people. I get so many people that
Starting point is 00:03:28 message me in different ways. And I just want to help you guys because I found things that helped me. That's really what it comes down to. I talked about this in my Instagram stories a few days ago. If you don't follow me on Instagram, I put a lot of extra stuff on there. It's Rob Dial Jr. R-O-B-D-I-A-L-J-R. But I talked about this in my Instagram stories the other day of like, hey, these are some of the things that I struggle with and these are some of the tips that help me get out of it. And today we're going to talk about that little voice that's inside of your head, right? You have a little voice inside of your head and I don't know about you, but there's two, there's at least two of me in my head. There's the one that's like,
Starting point is 00:04:01 Rob, we're going to make this amazing life. And these are the goals. And you want to become happy and rich. And you want to be ripped and have a six pack. And you want to freaking conquer the world. And you want to do amazing things. And you're a badass. And there's a part of me that's like so motivated, so driven. And it's like, let's go. Let's freaking conquer the world. Let's do some amazing shit. And there's the other side of me that's like, fuck you. That's the one that I call the little inner bitch. The one that's like, don't work out today. Don't do what you're supposed to. Don't eat that healthy stuff. Eat some more ice cream. Don't take that cold shower. You look like shit. You know, don't work today. That podcast episode she made sucks. Like there's two sides of me battling at all
Starting point is 00:04:41 points in time. And really the one that you pay attention to is the one that wins. And so what it comes down to in your life comes down to is which one of those two are you focusing on? I have never met somebody that hasn't come in contact with the conscious version of himself that wants to do more, that wants goals, that wants to do something amazing and also come in contact. I've never met somebody who hasn't seen both. And then the subconscious version of yourself that kind of just pops up and will say some things sometimes. And it's like, where did that idea come? Where did that voice come from? Where did that thought come from? And it doesn't feel like it's you. It feels like it's a program that's still running in the
Starting point is 00:05:13 background. And we're going to talk about that program. We're going to talk about that little voice inside of your head that I call the inner bitch. The one that holds you back from everything that you have ever wanted. The one that stops you. the one that told you to stop, that thing that you were so passionate about 10 years ago and now 10 years down the road, you're thinking to yourself, man, where would my life be if I had never given up? And listen to that little inner voice. It's the one that's negative. It's the one that makes up all of these stories and all of these narratives that are completely false and tries to trick you into believing all of them. That's what I mean by the little inner bitch. I like to call it the little inner bitch. And so that's what we're going to talk about today. I'll kind of give you guys a story about me just so
Starting point is 00:05:52 you have an idea. So next week I'm leaving for Italy. I'll be gone for just under four weeks. And because of that, I've been super busy. We've been recording tons of podcast episodes. This is the third day in a row we're recording podcast episodes so that I have a whole bunch of them coming out for you guys while I'm gone. And I have a ton of stuff to do with work. We just hired a bunch of people onto our team and brought on people onto our team and it's growing and things are going great. There's nothing wrong, but it just happens to be super busy knowing that I'm going to be going out of town for so long. That's one of the things that I do is every year I try to go out of town, usually to Italy for three to four weeks because we just love it over there. And I think it's amazing. And so that is one of the things that
Starting point is 00:06:33 I planned for. And I wanted that to be part of my life 10 years ago when I was backpacking by myself in 2012. And I thought to myself, I've got to figure out a way to make traveling like a piece of what I do. And so that's causing me to have to do a whole lot of work the past couple of weeks to kind of catch up to that. Right. And yesterday was catch up. I was getting a ton of things done, working through, I had a ton of stuff to do and I wasn't really feeling it. And today I woke up again and I wasn't really feeling it. And my little inner bitch was really loud a couple of days ago. Right. And it was coming through. We bitch was really loud a couple of days ago, right? And it was coming through. We just got back from a trip. We were in Sedona about a month ago and it was telling me all of these things not to do. It was like, hey, take a day off, man. You've
Starting point is 00:07:15 been go, go, go since you got back from Sedona. You were working most of the time that you were in Sedona and stuff. Just take a step back. Chill, man. Don't worry about it. And kept trying to get me to not accomplish the things. Like kept trying to say, hey, don't play in those podcast episodes. Hey, you can just record them while you're traveling and don't worry about it. And I was sitting there and I was like, you know, what is my little inner bitch saying? And I started noticing all these voices and things that I should and shouldn't do and whatever it was. And I asked myself, what does my inner bitch not want me to do right now?

It was the middle of the day and I was like, what does my inner bitch not want me to do right now? It doesn't want me to work out because I hadn't worked out yet. And I was like, oh, fuck. All right. Well, I've got to do what my little inner bitch does not want me to do because I need to conquer. There's this voice in my head and I've got to get rid of it. And I've got to work through, see, I've got to smash this
Starting point is 00:09:28 thing today because I have a lot of stuff that needs to be done. And I was like, working out was part of it. And right now it does not want me to work out. So I stopped what I was doing, got dressed. And it got louder as I got dressed. And I was like, no, man, you don't have enough time. You don't have enough time, man. You don't, you got so many other things to do. Don't work out. No, no, don't work out. Do some, you out. Do some yoga instead. Oh, dude, you just ate. Don't make your workout too hard. You don't want to throw up inside of the gym. You don't want to do that. Nah, just do some yoga instead. Just make it chill. You know what? You should just go in the sauna. Just go in the sauna so you don't have to do any work. And I was like, screw it. I'm going to work out. So I did my workout, did my typical workout, about 45 minutes. And as I'm starting the workout, the voice came
Starting point is 00:10:11 in again during the workout. Hey man, just chill. Just stop early. You're not, that's not a big deal. Stop early. Just do 15 minutes instead of 45. You got, you got other things to do. No one's going to know. Nobody in this entire world is going to know if you only work out for 15 minutes instead of 30, instead of 45. And so I kept asking myself, what does my inner bitch not want? What does it not want me to do? What does it not want me to do? What does it not want me to do? And so I was like, it doesn't want me to just completely destroy myself and do high intensity. I was like, all right, we're doing high intensity. It looks like guys. And so it was like, I was asking myself what it didn't want me
Starting point is 00:10:50 to do. And I kept noticing all of the things that it didn't want me to do. And so what did I start doing? I started doing exactly what it didn't want me to do, because I don't know about you, but when I see something that needs to be conquered, I want to go full force directly, ram my head into it and try to break that wall down. It wanted me to stop conquered, I want to go full force directly, ram my head into it and try to break that wall down. It wanted me to stop early. I decided to go a little bit longer. And then so I got done with my workout. I felt like it was enough. And I was like, okay, well, got to go take a shower so I can get back to work and do some stuff. And so I was in the shower and I was thinking about the voice again. I was thinking about, man, I pushed myself really
Starting point is 00:11:22 hard. I'm really proud of myself that I pushed myself. And what's funny about it is that I pushed myself and did exactly what the little voice didn't want me to do. And I thought to myself when I was in the shower, I was like, what does that little voice not want me to do for the rest of the day? And the first thing that popped into my head, that little voice doesn't want you to turn the shower cold. And I was like, son of a bitch. Okay, looks like that's what we have to do. So then I took the
Starting point is 00:11:46 shower. I turned it as cold as it would possibly go. Cause I was like, the little voice was kind of creeping in there. And I was like, you know what? I got to keep doing what it does not want me to do. What it does not want me to do. I'm just going to do it. Right. And so what I did was I, I had music on, I had my EDM blasting while I was in there and I was like, let's just go cold. I started doing my breathing's just go cold. I started doing my breathing and started going cold. I started doing my breathing, started going cold. And then what happened?
Starting point is 00:12:13 Of course, the little voice came back in and it was like, hey man, long enough. You've, this is, ooh, you, you proved me wrong. You can go ahead and turn it warm again. And you just, you're done. And I was like, I got to keep going. I got it. And I stayed longer and I stayed longer and I stayed longer until I felt like the little voice was slowly starting to disappear. I was, I was literally like breathing. I was moving my body and I was punching the air and I was not punching the air like I was fighting something, but I was just like trying to just like literally
Starting point is 00:12:36 see if I could just move my body and force this little voice out of me. Right. And it was literally like, that's what I called today's episode, the inner bitch exorcism. It was like me going through a full on exorcism of myself. I was forcing the inner bitch out of me and I got out of the cold shower and I was on like a different freaking level. I was more motivated than I was before I started and went to the gym.
Starting point is 00:13:01 And I literally crushed the entire day. And it was like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Everything got done. I did so much. I was like, man, I wouldn't have done as well as I did today if I wouldn't have asked myself, what did that inner bitch not want me to do? I wouldn't have done any of that stuff. I wouldn't have felt, I wouldn't have done my workout, which motivated me. I wouldn't have switched the shower cold, which motivated me. I wouldn't have left myself in the shower with it being as cold as it was. I wouldn't have punched the air and danced around and jumped up and down and blasted EDM. I wouldn't have, you know, if I would have
Starting point is 00:13:34 listened to the inner bitch, I would not have been as motivated to take on the rest of the day as I was after I did that. And I thought to myself, man, there's so much benefit to doing what that inner bitch does not want you to do. Because it's basically like the spotlight on this is what you need to do to get to your next level. I know it sounds crazy. I know it sounds like I have multiple voices inside of my head. I know it sounds like I'm just dancing around in the cold shower and freaking out and stuff. And it might be true. All of those things might be true. Who knows? I don't know. But all I do know is that not doing what it wanted me to do and going against what it wanted me to do completely shifted my energy for the rest of the day.
Starting point is 00:14:15 And I think there's so much benefit into asking yourself, what does my inner Vishnu want me to do? What is it trying to hold me back from? Because on the other side of that is a level of greatness. And for all of us, we should be asking ourselves at every single moment, what does the Ná want me to do? And how can I go face to face this thing? So I ask you, for you, what does your inner Bishná want you to do? What is it holding you back from? is your Nibish not want you to do? What is it holding you back from? What does it not want you to do? Your key to your next level is conquering that thing, is working through that thing. It's always going to be there. It's not just like you're going to wake up and you're going to have no mindset issues. The little voice inside of your head is gone. It's just that you learn to start
Starting point is 00:15:02 doing what it doesn't want you to do. You learn to stop listening to it. So if you have fears and you have limiting beliefs and all those things come up, you can't look at somebody who has the life that you want. They might have the success and the happiness and love and the peace and the joy and the relationships and all the things that you want and think, oh, they must not have any fears. They must not have any limiting beliefs. They must not have that inner voice that's trying to hold them back. They have all of those things. The difference is they don't listen to it. And you might be listening to it now. And so what it really comes down to is,
Starting point is 00:15:33 can you figure out what is your inner bitch telling you not to do? What is it telling you to do? Is it holding you back in some sort of way? And can you learn to start pushing yourself to do what it does not want you to do? Because that inner bitch is basically showing you your comfort zone, your comfort zone, your comfort zone, your comfort
Starting point is 00:15:50 zone. And your comfort zone is where your dreams go to die. If you want to find another level of yourself, you need to break through that comfort zone. You need to push yourself past the point of comfortable. And what you'll do is you'll find another level of yourself. You'll find another version of yourself, a stronger, more equipped version of yourself to step into the next level of your life. So that's what I got for you with the inner bitch exorcism.
