Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to today's episode of the Mindset Mentor podcast. I'm your host, Rob Dial. And this is becoming a very popular topic. And I
Starting point is 00:00:44 can go on the very logical side and tell you actually why this works, but I can also go on the spiritual or the woo-woo side. And I will do both of those today and tell you why this actually works. And for me, I've been using this since like 2008, 2009, the very first time that I learned about the secret and started actually thinking about, oh my God, so the way that I think about things will actually change the way that I will be able to receive them or not be able to receive these things. And you have to understand before we dive into this
Starting point is 00:01:12 is that you are literally a future creator. You create at every single moment of your life. Whether you think that you are a creative person or not doesn't really matter. You are a creator. The present reality that you are a creative person or not doesn't really matter. You are a creator. The present reality that you're sitting in right now is something that you and only you have created. You've put everything together, everything that is surrounding you in this very moment you have put together. And everything that you're wearing, everything that you're thinking, the amount of
Starting point is 00:01:40 money in your bank account, who you're in relationship with, who your friends are, all of those things. We are all artists and we paint the future that we want every single day. Now, here's the problem. Most people don't realize that they're painting their future every single day. And so it's like going up to a blank canvas and just kind of throwing a bunch of shit at it and throwing paint on it versus actually being intentional with what we're trying to paint. And so I'm going to speak, like I said, to the two different sides that I know that I have in my own mind, but I know that are probably listening to this podcast. There's the logical thinkers,
Starting point is 00:02:12 where you have to hear facts and figures and you have to think about stuff scientifically. We'll talk about those. And we'll also talk to the more spiritual thinkers, a little bit more of the woo-woo frequency vibrational side. So that no matter where you are on the far one side or far other side, or whether you find yourself somewhere in the middle in between, this should all make sense to you as to how to manifest. But before we go over into the
Starting point is 00:02:35 three steps, let's talk about it and why I think this is important for both sides. So for logical thinkers, we all know what we need to do to create the life that we want. Logical thinkers, we all know what we need to do to create the life that we want. Like it's not rocket science. You have a pretty good idea. If you know what it is that you want, you have a pretty good idea of how to actually create that life.
Starting point is 00:02:54 You might not know every single step of the process, but you know it needs to be done, right? You know it needs to be done. The only problem is we're not doing it. And so if you're not actually doing it, the issue is not that you don't know what to do, it's that you're actually not doing it. And so what happens is we hold ourselves back mentally from actually going out and physically working and taking action towards the future that we want to create. And this comes through a bunch of different mediums. This can come through your fears. This can come from your limiting beliefs.
Starting point is 00:03:25 And following this, this manifestation, the thing that I'm going to teach, if nothing else, if you don't believe in the vibrational stuff, if you don't believe in the manifestation, the law of attraction, following what I'm going to teach you is at least going to help you brainwash yourself
Starting point is 00:03:41 into actually believing that you can create the future that you want to. Because if nothing else, the one thing I always say about successful people that I've found is that successful people are just very naive. They're naive to the fact that they can do something that they've never done before, right? So there is a certain amount of naivete that's needed in order to be successful. And so maybe what we do, if nothing else, you take this manifestation that I'm going to talk about and realize that you can literally just brainwash yourself
Starting point is 00:04:09 into believing that it is possible. So therefore you stop holding yourself back from taking the action that you need to. Now, for those of you guys that are out there that are spiritual people, and maybe you're a little bit spiritual, a little bit logical, whatever it might be. Everything in this world is vibration. So if you're a little bit spiritual, you're a little bit logical, whatever it might be. Everything in this world is vibration.
Starting point is 00:04:27 So if you're looking at me right now through the video that we put out, you can see me and I look like Rob. But really what I am is I am a collection of 40 to 50 million trillion cells, like crazy amounts. I think it's 50 trillion cells, the exact number. Somewhere around that number is how many cells we actually have in our body.
Starting point is 00:04:45 All of those cells are vibrating. And you're looking at me and I look like an actual physical structure. But in reality, I'm a collection of 50 trillion cells. The camera that I'm looking at is made up of vibration. There's things that are vibrating the entire time. If you see the microphone that I'm speaking into, all of it, even though they're physical objects,
Starting point is 00:05:03 if you were to go and zoom in and zoom in and zoom in and zoom in and zoom in, they are all vibrating. It just happens to be that the things that are physical are vibrating at a lower frequency than something that is not physical or is in a gas form or happens to be in a liquid form. So if you think about it that way, that means that every single person, if we're talking on the spiritual level, is at a certain frequency, whatever your frequency is at. And I like to think of it like an AM radio station and an FM radio station. When you're on the AM frequency, you're not going to pick up anything that is on the FM frequency.
Starting point is 00:05:36 It's not going to happen. When you're on the FM frequency, you're not going to pick up anything that is on the AM frequency. So if you want to, let's just use, I know a lot of people want to become wealthy. thing that is on the AM frequency. So if you want to, let's just use, I know a lot of people want to become wealthy. If you are wanting to become wealthy and say there is a wealth frequency, but you were raised extremely poor, or you were raised with parents who had scarcity mindset, or they were very frugal, or they were very cheap, or they fought about money, even though you might want to be wealthy, you could be tuned in to a frequency
Starting point is 00:06:07 that is a poverty frequency. And it's like trying to understand a language that you don't understand. It's like being raised in America and then going over to somewhere like the Middle East and going, I don't know what language you're speaking. They're two completely different frequencies. And so if you want a certain life 10 years from today,
Starting point is 00:06:25 you've got to ask yourself, are you the type of person that's able to attract that life? AKA, are you turned into that frequency? Because you must change your frequency in order to attract it. And so we're talking about manifesting. I'm going to give you the three steps. You have to think of it from those two sides. If nothing else, manifestation, the thing I'm going to teach you might just be brainwashing yourself into believing it's possible so you finally get off your ass and you actually start taking action. Or it also and or might be that you're actually changing your vibrational frequency so therefore you can attract those things that you actually want. Whatever side it is, I don't know the true answer to it, but I'm going to just tell you about both of them so you got it.

The first thing, and I would actually say there's maybe even something before this. The first thing is vision, but I would actually say maybe there's even something before vision. What that means is knowing what you want,
Starting point is 00:09:43 like becoming very, very clear on what you want. If you've been following this podcast for a while, I say that one of the things that I see that holds people back the most from accomplishing whatever it is that they want is they actually don't get clear on what it is they want. They say they want to lose some weight, but they don't give an actual number. So if they lose one pound, they hit that goal, but they probably don't want to lose one pound. They say, I want to make more money. Okay, well, how much money do you want to make? How much do you want in your bank account? You know, and people, if you make one more dollar, well, then you accomplished your goal. You probably don't want to make one more
Starting point is 00:10:10 dollar this year. And so when you have your vision, you've got to get very, very clear on what it is that you want. Like if you're, if you're talking about the certain type of family, okay, can you sit down and visualize that? And I'm going to talk about visualization a little bit, but I'm also going to talk about something else that I think is going to help you guys who are not very good at visualizing what it is that you want. You have to become very clear on what it is that you want, and you have to dedicate time at least once a day to actually visualize and see it every single day. And you have to see it every single day. And for some people, you might sit down and you might be able to see the family that you want. You might be able to see the family that you want.
Starting point is 00:10:46 You might be able to see the house that you want. You might be able to see all of the places that you travel to. And you might be able to make this beautiful, amazing movie inside of your mind. Some of you, it might not be very easy to do that because it takes time to get better at visualization. What's actually more important than seeing it
Starting point is 00:11:01 when you're visualizing is actually feeling the feelings, which could be said that you're actually tuning the frequency. So feeling the feelings. And what you're trying to do is you're trying to normalize that feeling. And so when I talk about normalizing the feeling, you can look at what you have now in your life probably feels pretty normal to you. Like if you think about the car that you drive, when you first wanted to get that car, it probably, you were like, oh my God, I want to get this car.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I want to get this car. And you got excited before you bought it. And the first day that you bought it, you're like, this is exciting. Now it probably just feels normal. And so if we want to attract the things that we want, we need to be able to normalize the feeling. So therefore it doesn't become hard for us to go and get it.
Starting point is 00:11:45 And so when I talk about normalizing, what I mean is, you know, if you could visualize the family that you want, if you could visualize the house that you want, the business that you want, the people that you impact, the money that you make, the joy you want to feel, the places you want to travel to, and visualize it every single day and feel it as if you like feel the feelings of what it would feel like to take that trip to Greece you've always wanted to and see it every single day and start to normalize it. Now, here's the thing that I did that I have found that works massively
Starting point is 00:12:12 and I've never heard anybody else really talk about this. You can visualize it, which means you're seeing it, but you have other senses that you can bring into it. So when I first was trying to plan a trip and trying to take six months to go to Italy back in 2017, I started visualizing every single morning what it would be like to wake up in the morning and to go walk down from the apartment I wanted to live in that was inside of Rome and walk down and get a cappuccino and get a coffee and what that would feel like and what that would, all of
Starting point is 00:12:40 it, everything. I started to visualize it. And then what I started to realize was that I'm using just one sense, my mind's eye. Why don't I try to bring as many sense I possibly can? And so when I was visualizing, not only was I thinking about it, but here's what I did. I actually went on to, number one, I went into a Facebook group that was called Expats in Rome. And I asked everybody like, hey,
Starting point is 00:13:00 I've got some ideas of like, where would I get an apartment? You know, here's how old I am. I don't really go out and party. This is what my girlfriend and I am looking for. We found this place, neighborhood in Rome called Tristevere. I was like, this place looks perfect.
Starting point is 00:13:12 So what I did was I actually went onto Google Maps and actually started walking around in Google Maps, you know, the street view to see what the neighborhood looks like. And so then what I started doing was every morning I would wake up and I would go into the streets of Tristevere on Google Maps. I would watch myself and look at all of the different, you know, the buildings and the way that the colors were and the way that the
Starting point is 00:13:31 paint was chipping off because these buildings were so old from like the 1400s and stuff. And then what I started doing is I started visualizing it. And I would visualize myself walking to the coffee shop. And then I thought to myself, you know what? I drink coffee in the morning anyways. Why don't I visualize myself going to the coffee shop, getting a cup of coffee, and then actually drinking my coffee with my eyes closed. So therefore, I can not only see it, but I can smell the cup of coffee. I can taste the cup of coffee. And I thought to myself, can I make this any deeper? And I went into YouTube and found a video that was called Streets of Rome.
Starting point is 00:14:10 And I actually listened to what it sounds like on the streets of Rome. And so I was seeing it in my mind's eye. I was smelling it. I was hearing it and I was tasting it. And I was feeling it because obviously I was sitting in a chair and I was moving the cup from my lap to my mouth every single time I was drinking it. I was bringing in all five of my senses to try to make my vision as clear as I possibly could. And then what happened was I started getting so excited. It went from, I don't know if this is gonna happen to I'm so fucking excited about this that I was supposed to be going in July.
Starting point is 00:14:37 July 1st was the goal. We ended up getting there in June 1st because of the fact that I could not wait any longer. And we started speeding everything along because I was like, I don't want this vision. Like I want this vision to come true already. And so instead of like, oh man, I don't know if this is possible. It came to, this is not only possible because I'm doing it every single morning, but I need to do it quicker than I need to get there sooner and ended up accomplishing it. So how can you figure out, become very clear on what
Starting point is 00:15:01 it is that you want and visualize it every single day and bring as many senses you can into it so therefore internally inside of your body, inside of your mind, you're actually normalizing the feeling of accomplishing that goal. Okay, so that's the first thing is you have to have a vision for what it is. The second thing is the strategy, right? How are you going to do it? Now that we've thought, we've gotten clear, we're seeing it every single day. Well, let's make a plan. Like, let's sit down and actually make a plan. How are you going to do it? Now that we've thought, we've gotten clear, we're seeing it every single day. Well, let's make a plan. Like, let's sit down and actually make a plan. How are you going to do it? Because obviously I didn't just pick up and go. You know,
Starting point is 00:15:32 I had to literally, I had a house at the time. I had to rent it out to other people. So I got someone in a two-year lease, moved out of it, started getting the plans where I was going to put all my stuff into storage, started putting the plan together so that therefore it would feel like I was expediting the process and moving the process along. And so plan out whatever it is that you're trying to accomplish. And maybe you're thinking about like the next 10 years. Cool. Well, plan out the next 10 years and then ask yourself, what do I need to do this year to be on track for my 10-year goal? Like, what do I need to be doing this year to be on track for my 10-year goal? So you take your big goal, because 10 years seems like it's really far away. And sometimes with something so big and so far away, it actually
Starting point is 00:16:13 feels a little bit demotivating. And so what happens is you actually take that goal and you chunk it down. Okay, that's my 10-year goal. That's what I want. Now, what does this year need to look like to be on track for that 10-year goal? And then you chunk it down again. What does this quarter need to look like in order to be on track for my one-year goal? Okay. And then what does this month need to look like in order to be on track for my quarterly goal? And then what does this week need to look like in order to be on track for my monthly goal? So you have your weekly goals that go into your monthly goals, that go into your quarterly goals, that go into your yearly goals, that go into your 10-year goals. And so now you're actually working at just this week.
Starting point is 00:16:46 And you can even go into daily goals if you want to, but you're working on just this week, what you need to do instead of worrying about the next 10 years. Because when you can just focus on this week, you can start to get it done. And so the thing about it is to actually write it down and to plan it. But for those of you guys that are planners, do not take too, too, too, too, too much time planning it. This is like a hour to two hour long thing at most, right? Some people are like, I need to plan and then I need to plan to plan and then to plan to plan to plan to plan to plan to plan and you're planning too much, you're not actually getting shit done. Don't take too much time with this. Live by the phrase, ready, fire, aim. Not ready, aim, fire. Ready,
Starting point is 00:17:23 fire, aim. You get ready. You do a little bit of planning. You take action. And then after you take action, figure out what adjustments need to be made so you can keep taking action towards the direction that you want. Ready, fire, aim. You get ready. You make a plan. You take action as soon as possible. And then you re-aim whenever you need to. Okay? So you make your strategy. That's part number two. So number one is vision. Number two is strategy. And number three, execution. You got to get off your ass. Okay. And here's the thing that's interesting about it is that when you start to actually visualize the future, it makes it so much easier to take action and to motivate yourself and be excited because
Starting point is 00:17:58 you're ready to work into that future. Like you want that. You've been seeing it every single morning. You want to work your ass off so that you can get there because you've seen how exciting it is. You felt how exciting it feels to be able to accomplish those goals and how proud of yourself you would be. And so you've got to get off your ass and you've got to get stuff done.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Everybody hears about the law of attraction and all that is great, but there's a piece of law of attraction nobody talks about. That's the law of action. You have to actually take action. Nothing will happen in this universe unless you make it happen.
Starting point is 00:18:26 So you gotta get off your ass and you gotta start working towards what it is that you want. So execution is part number three. You gotta get up, you gotta get going, you've gotta see your plan every single morning, you've gotta see your vision every single morning, you've gotta look at your plan every single day, and then you've gotta execute
Starting point is 00:18:40 towards that plan every single day. Because the thing that's interesting is that we can go out and we can create the future that we want. But what's really interesting is we don't necessarily create the future that we want. What we do is we create habits and our habits create the future that we want.
Starting point is 00:18:55 And so you have to figure out to yourself, what are the habits that I need to create in order to create this future? And one of these habits is that you need to visualize every freaking day, at least once a day. I prefer in the morning, but if you can go twice a day, once in the morning, whenever you wake up in the morning so that you know what you're working towards for the day. And once before you go to bed, right before you go to bed, because that's when your subconscious mind takes over so that
Starting point is 00:19:18 you can actually start to brainwash yourself even more into believing that it's possible. Because ultimately, if we could just brainwash ourself into believing that what we want is possible, it makes it so much easier to work for it. So that is a three-step process to manifesting anything that you want. Number one, you have to get very clear on what your vision is
Starting point is 00:19:36 and you have to see it every single morning and bring as many senses as you possibly can into it. Number two, you've got to develop a strategy, a plan of exactly how you're going to do it. And number three, you got to freaking execute. So that's what I got for you for today's episode.
