Starting point is 00:03:07 You will learn so much. I know I have. Welcome back. Today, what we're going to be talking about is absolute gratitude and giving thanks. And before we dive into that, with the holidays coming up, it being Thanksgiving this week for those of you that are in America, with the holidays coming up, holidays can get in the way of personal growth. But I want to tell you this, you should never be too busy for personal growth. Like they say, the first person to always take care of is yourself. If a plane is going down, you always put the oxygen on yourself. So by growing and forcing yourself to grow, even during the times when you're busy and during the times when you're in the holidays, some of you guys are going to be around some of your in-laws and you're going to
Starting point is 00:03:46 need some personal growth to keep you positive. But just in general, what I always say is you always have to make sure you have time every single day for personal growth. You have to focus on yourself and have some me time to grow and to make yourself be better because the rest of the people around you will be better if you are better as well. And I always say it's personal growth. Personal development is like a shower. It's recommended every single day. You find time to take a shower every single day. You should find time for personal growth every single day, even if it's just 10 minutes. So that being said, with Thanksgiving being this week, I want to talk to you guys about gratitude. And we're doing something in group coaching right now, which is a 10-day challenge. We're doing a
Starting point is 00:04:28 10-day gratitude challenge. And the reason why is because I believe having an attitude of gratitude to be gracious and grateful for everything that you have allows you to kick out fear and scarcity and not have the mindset of there not being enough. Whenever you feel allows you to kick out fear and scarcity and not have the mindset of there not being enough. Whenever you feel like you don't have enough, like you don't have enough money, you don't have enough time, or that there might not be enough for you in the world of whatever it is, take a step back and look at all of the things that you actually do have. Look at all of the things that you've been blessed with. And even if you have absolutely nothing, you could still have your health at this point. And what you have to realize is that if you're listening to my voice, you are in a country
Starting point is 00:05:13 that is technologically advanced, so you probably have it better than other people in the world. The problem is most people tend to focus on what they don't have versus what they do have. And with gratitude, what it forces you to do is take a step back and stop looking at all of the things that you don't have and start seeing all of the things that you do have around you. And the problem is, we always talk about people that are negative and all they focus on negative. And what you want to do is start focusing on positive. It's the exact same thing for gratitude. There's a lot of people, most people, especially in our society with advertisements and the way that it works,
Starting point is 00:05:49 you're made to feel like you're not enough until you own that product or you buy a new house or you buy a new car. I want you to understand that when you live in gratitude, when you live grateful, you wake up and there's a great thing called a five-minute journal where it makes you focus on what you're grateful for first thing in the morning. And when you focus on something that you're grateful for, like Tony Robbins says, it's impossible to be mad or sad or pissed off while you're being grateful. So whenever you feel like you are not on point, whenever you feel like things are not going your way, whenever you feel like you're not enough, whenever you feel like you need more or that you're not far enough along or that you're not where you want to be, take a step back,
Starting point is 00:06:34 take a deep breath and look at all of the things that you do have and look at all of the things that you've done and how far you have come. That's what gratitude is all about. That's what sitting and actually appreciating all of the things that you have are. If you have nothing and you just have your health, your health is something to be extremely grateful for. There's a lot of people in the world that are worth billions of dollars that would give all of their money away just to have the health that you do. So you have something to be grateful for. If you have a family that's loving and supportive, if you have a couple dollars in your bank account,
Starting point is 00:07:12 if you're able to eat Thanksgiving dinner, or to be able to have any dinner or any food, that's something to be grateful for. And so if you get anything from this super short podcast, it's that I want you to have an attitude of gratitude, to wake up and realize that you have a lot to be grateful for. There's a lot of people all over the world, all over countries that don't have enough food, that don't have enough water, that are being bombed, like terrible things. You, if you're listening to my voice, have something to be grateful for.
Starting point is 00:07:41 And even though you're listening and some of you might be saying, I don't know what it is, there's something and you can find it. And the more that you live your life with gratitude and with thinking about all of the things that you're grateful for, the more you will actually find, the more that you live in gratitude, the more you will actually be given and blessed with. That's the one thing to think about. If you can think of all of the things that you're grateful for and say, thank you for all the things that you have, you will be blessed with more. I don't know how the universe works
Starting point is 00:08:09 or God works or whatever that working power is, but the more gratitude you show, the more stuff and happiness and health and money and success and all of those things you will receive as well. So I hope that you guys all have an amazing Thanksgiving. You have a great holiday. And if you need anything, make sure that you guys reach out.
