So if you want to see what Milan is like, you want to see what we're doing, go ahead and follow me on Instagram. That is where you are going to be the most up to date on my travel, seeing what we're doing, and then also seeing some of the motivational stuff that I'm posting on there as well. So follow me at Rob Dial Jr. So R-O-B-D-I-A-L-J-R on Instagram. If you want to follow along, see what we are doing. And last but not least, today is the 29th. This is coming out on the 29th. So tomorrow's actually a 30th. So if you're listening to this episode on the day it comes out, tomorrow is the day that I've been talking about where Tony
Starting point is 00:01:25 Robbins is running his big, massive, live, learn how to run your own online business, live training tomorrow with answering questions from the crowd. So if you want to join in on that free class that he's putting out and learn how to start your own business, he's probably the best person in the world, in my opinion, to learn from, from this. Just because of fact, I mean, literally success magazine calls him the CEO whisperer. CEOs pay him over a million dollars per year to coach with him one-on-one. So he's going to be teaching you how to start your first online business or how to take your company from, you know, being in person to actually being online and how to make it a million dollar business. And if you want to sign up for that, go to 2019tony.com. So 2019tony.com, T-O-N-Y. And this is one time only. He's going to be going live to the best of my knowledge.
Starting point is 00:02:17 He's going to be doing this one time, one time only. So it's going to be April 30th. So if you're listening to this a day after this comes out, then it's actually today for you. So make sure that you sign up quick, go to 2019tony.com to sign up for it. So today what I'm going to be talking about is taking action. So let me tell you why I'm talking about this. I actually just, I had a conversation earlier about challenges yesterday with my girlfriend. And the one thing that I realized is that I'm a conversation earlier about challenges yesterday with my girlfriend. And the one thing that I realized is that I'm a really terrible person to follow up the stairs. If I'm walking upstairs, I'm a bad person to follow. And the reason why is because if there's a ton of stairs, we were in Cinque Terre, Italy, and there was like 380 steps or something like that.
Starting point is 00:03:00 I'm a terrible person to walk behind. And the reason why is because when I see a challenge, I've kind of brainwashed myself to when I see that challenge, just to going at it and not stopping and just going hardcore at it. And it's not the way that I've always been. You know, here also, there's a lot of, there's a lot of walk-ups. So maybe we'll have, you know, we have our, we have a two piece of luggage. I have the heavier piece. We have a carry on and a check on and the carry on. My girlfriend takes a check on. I take it. It's probably like 45, 50 pounds, right? It's got my camera equipment in it.
Starting point is 00:03:33 It's got all of this other stuff. It's got shoes, her shoes, my shoes, all of this. We got everything in there and we'll have four floors. We have to walk up and I immediately go, all right, there's no reason to sit around and to think in my head, man, we got to walk up this thing. I don't want to walk up these stairs. Oh, I've got to walk up it. It's just pick that crap up, frigging hold onto it, give it a bear hug and walk up those damn steps as quick as you possibly can. And we were having this conversation at dinner last night and I thought I should talk about the podcast because so often we don't take
Starting point is 00:04:03 action. We get too busy of thinking about all of the worries, everything that could happen. And for me, I actually remember the exact moment that this really hit home for me that I should stop thinking about stuff and I should just immediately go in, no pun intended, once you hear the story, I should just jump in. And I remember when I was 18 years old, I saved up the entire senior year of high school to go on a three-week surf trip with my three friends. So we were in Costa Rica and we were at this place by Montezuma, Costa Rica, and it was called Tres Piscinas, three pools. And you would jump off of the waterfalls into these big, huge pools. And one of the waterfalls is like 50 feet. And for me, I'm terrified of heights. I don't know if you guys have ever told you guys
Starting point is 00:04:46 through this before, but I'm terrified of heights. I hate them. Not really good with them. I've gotten better over the years. But when I was younger, and I remember going to these 18 years old, going to Trace Basinas, and I got to the edge. And I remember people taking a really long time
Starting point is 00:05:03 before jumping. They get up to the edge and they get nervous and they get nervous and they get nervous and they get nervous. And I remember telling myself, if I start to get nervous, I just have to jump. I just have to go. And so I remember watching people, some people would just jump off. They had no trouble with it. And then some people get to the edge. And I remember some people there, I think there was a girl that took like four or five minutes before she would jump. And then she ended up not jumping. And I remember watching this whole thing happen. And I remember her, I remember thinking to myself, she got so in her own head that she wasn't able to jump. The longer that she waited, the worse that it got for her. And to the point where she couldn't even jump. And so I remember when it was my turn to
Starting point is 00:05:40 walk up to the waterfall and to jump off the waterfall. I got to the edge and I remember feeling that shake of like my knees starting to shake, the nervousness coming up. And I remember thinking to myself, oh my God, I don't know if I can do this. Oh my God, I don't know if I can do this. And I started to get so nervous that I went, I just got to jump and boom, I just jumped. Didn't think, just jumped, just immediately went for it. And I remember it was a long fall, you know, 50, 60 feet, whatever it was. And I hit the water and I was like, that was amazing. And I got up and I remembered thinking to myself, okay, so that's the secret of life. Anytime that something scares the crap out of me, I need to just go at it and do it and not think about it. And so the thing that I
Starting point is 00:06:21 want you to get out of this episode and what I'm going to dive into is how to take action and why to take action on the things that scare you the most and the things that you want to do as well. So first off, the first thing you need to do, there's two steps to it. Number one, you need to get clarity on what it is that you want, right? So you figure out what your goal is or what your business is going to be about or that you're going to start selling something online for a business that you already have that's in person, right? You get clarity. And I mean, extreme clarity. Because a lot of times people have a goal and they say, oh, I want to lose weight. I want to lose weight this year.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Okay, well, if you lose weight this year and you lose one pound, you hit your goal because you lost weight, right? Or they say, I want to make more money this year. Okay, if you make one more dollar this year than you did last year, then you hit your goal. So what I mean by extreme clarity is know exactly the number. How many pounds do you want to lose? You know, what body fat percentage do you want to look at or be at? What do you, who do you want to look like? Get that picture printed out of that person that you want to look like. If you want to make more money, how much money exactly do you want to make? How much do you want to have saved? How much do you want to, you know, have in your, your bank account? Get extreme clarity of exactly what it is that
Starting point is 00:07:29 you want. If you want to start a business, okay, what do you want your business to look like online? How much do you want to sell? Do you want to sell a million dollars in your first year, a hundred thousand dollars in your first year? You have to have extreme clarity on what it is. But here's the key. Do not let the extreme clarity become something that becomes a roadblock because a lot of times people go, oh yeah, I think I know what it is, but I'm not clear yet. I'm not a hundred percent clear. So I don't want that to become a roadblock for you. I want you to be extremely clear and have that take just a few minutes. Take 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, not 10, 20 days thinking about, oh, I need to get more clear because Rob said, I need to get more clear.
Starting point is 00:08:09 What I mean by that is you take 10 minutes, you get really clear on what it is, you know, that business you want to start, how much weight you want to lose, how much money you want to make, all of those things, you get extremely clear. And then when you figure out what it is that you want, you take action. You don't take action tomorrow. You don't take action next week, any of that stuff. You don't plan. You don't take action tomorrow. You don't take action next week. Any of that stuff. You don't plan. You don't do anything. You take action right now.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Don't think, just act. Just get it done. Don't think about it. Don't worry about it. Don't plan every freaking detail. Because I know there's a lot of people out there and you're listening and you're smiling right now because you're like, oh, but I'm a planner. Now you're getting called out, right? Don't plan anything, right? Just act, go for the
Starting point is 00:08:49 next thing. Don't think about all the situations. Don't try to be perfect. Just take effing action. That's all I want you to do. And you might've heard me, I have a podcast in the past I've done, it's called Ready, Fire, Aim. It means, you know, you normally hear it as ready, aim, fire. What I want you to do is get ready, figure out what it is that you want, fire, take action, go, and then you can aim after. Then you can start to figure out what it is that you, you know, that you need to start aiming at and kind of make little tweaks. You know, if you're in the middle of a war and there's a rampage and there's just a ton of people coming at you and you just, you're sitting there eating your sandwich and you just have this blitzkrieg of just people just flying at you,
Starting point is 00:09:29 you're not going to go, hmm, let me go ahead and take my gun and make sure it's perfect. No, you're just going to literally take that thing. You're not going to put it up to your face. You're just going to put it up to your waist and just fire as much as you possibly can. And then when you get a second, then you might actually start to aim. That's what I want you to be like. I want you to get ready, figure out what it is that you want, fire. And then when you get a second, then you might actually start to aim. That's what I want you to be like. I want you to get ready, figure out what it is that you want, fire. And then as you're firing, then you can start to aim and figure out where you're going. Then you can start to make adjustments. You know, some of you have not started the business that you want because you're still
Starting point is 00:09:57 waiting for the perfect moment. You're still waiting for the stars to line up, for the right partners to come in, for the money, for the perfect product that you're still researching. You've been researching the product on Alibaba for the past three and a half months. Stop thinking. Stop going so in-depth. You're going to screw up. It's okay. Just start. And for some reason, there's so many different stories of successful entrepreneurs that started with basically nothing. And they were the perfect example of like ready, fire, aim. And for some reason, Damon John, you know, from Shark Tank, who started FUBU, Damon John was the very first person popped into my head. He sold FUBU out of
Starting point is 00:10:35 the trunk of his car. He didn't wait for stores to pick up his line. He didn't wait for anything else. He went, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to get all of this stuff made. I'm going to put it in the trunk of my car. I'm going to go where all of the people who would buy my stuff would be. I'm going to open up the trunk and I'm going to see if they want to buy it. And he sold tons and tons of clothes that way before he was picked up by stores. He's just a perfect example. There's tons of examples of all of these, you know, super successful entrepreneurs that started the business that they wanted to, and they just went for it. They didn't wait for anyone's approval. There's so many examples of this. So if you're waiting to start the company that you want,
Starting point is 00:11:09 if you're waiting to get the job that you want, if you're waiting to get in the relationship you want, if you're waiting to finally be happy, to start meditating, do all these things, don't wait. Don't think about it. Don't plan. Don't be a planner where you have to have everything in perfect and color coordinated inside of your journal and your planner and all that crap. Just freaking do it. Just go take action and go. When you see a challenge, like I was saying, walking up the stairs, 380 something stairs, it wasn't, oh my God, I didn't want to walk up those damn stairs. It wasn't like, oh my gosh, I don't want to walk up these stairs. It's so hot outside. I'm not really wearing walk up those damn stairs. It wasn't like, oh my gosh, I don't want to walk up these stairs.
Starting point is 00:11:46 It's so hot outside. I'm not really wearing the white clothes right now. These are not the right shoes. These are not hiking boots. You know, I don't know. It's going to be a beautiful view up there, but it is kind of far. You know, I do have a call that I have to hop on in an hour and a half.
Starting point is 00:11:57 It wasn't any of that stuff. It was, okay, I want to get to the top of that. There's 384 stairs in my way. I'm just going to go at it and just go at it and figure it out later. We got 384 stairs in my way. I'm just going to go at it and just go at it and figure it out later. We got up there. It was amazing. It was beautiful up there. I did my call up there. Everything worked out exactly the way that it needed to. Ready, fire, aim, take action. Once you figure out what you want, and then you start to figure out what adjustments
Starting point is 00:12:22 need to be made. So that's what I got for you for today's episode. Once again, last but not least, this is your last chance to sign up for the free business online business class that Tony Robbins is going to be running live. Once again, I'll use this episode as a perfect example. Just take action. Just do it. Just go to 2019tony.com, sign up for it. It's absolutely free.
Starting point is 00:12:45 It costs you literally nothing, you know, and he's going to be teaching you a whole lot of mindset stuff about how to start a business, the challenge of having business, everything in there, sign up for it, go to it. I wouldn't promote somebody's stuff or tell you to go follow somebody just out of the blue. And I'm not getting, they're not paying me to tell you guys this. I'm just telling you this because I freaking believe in Tony Robbins and stuff. There's one person I believe in the most that's in the same industry as me. It's him.
Starting point is 00:13:10 And this guy, they call the CEO whispers. So go to 2019tony.com, two zero one nine T-O-N-Y.com, sign up for his stuff and everything will be good to go. So with that, I'm gonna leave you the same way. I leave you every single episode. Make it your mission
Starting point is 00:13:24 to make somebody else's day better. I appreciate you and I hope that you be good to go. So with that, I'm gonna leave you the same way I leave you every single episode. Make it your mission to make somebody else's day better. I appreciate you and I hope that you have an amazing day.
