Today Today I'm going to be talking about how the only limits that exist for you exist in your mind. And I've given this example before in previous episodes, but I wanted to have one episode dedicated just to how much I limit myself,
Starting point is 00:02:36 how much you limit yourself, how much we all limit ourselves. And I'm going to give you this example. I like to ask this question on webinars and I ask people, what's the chance of you making $1 million this year legally? And most people say, oh, it's 1% chance, a 2%, 5%, a half a percent. A lot of people say 0% chance of making a million dollars this year legally. And then I ask them the question, what's the percentage chance of you making a million dollars this year legally. And then I asked them the question, what's the percentage chance of you making a million dollars this year if your entire family's
Starting point is 00:03:10 life depends on it? If you don't make a million dollars this year, your entire family dies. What's the percentage chance of you making a million dollars this year? And everybody says the exact same thing. 100%, 100%, 100%, 500%, 1000%. There's absolutely no way that they won't make a million dollars this year when their entire family's life depends on it. Now, what changed? The goal didn't change. The timeframe didn't change. What changed was their why behind the goal. Whenever you have a goal, you have to have a strong emotional attachment to that goal if you're going to achieve it. But it also shows you how much we really, really limit ourselves. Within 10 seconds,
Starting point is 00:03:58 people go from there's a 0% chance of me making a million dollars this year to there is a 100% chance of me making a million dollars this year. And so what I want you to get from this is to ask yourself the question, where do I limit myself in my life every single day? Where do I limit myself? Could I be a better father or mother, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, student, worker, employee, entrepreneur, business owner, workout partner, whatever it might be, where are you limiting yourself? And you have to think about that. You get one life to live on this planet and you're not going to live up to 100% of the potential that you have, that's ridiculous. And so if you're trying to figure out a way to push yourself, if you're trying to figure out a
Starting point is 00:04:51 way to, you know, you know those limits are going to be there a little bit, but how do you push yourself to get past those limits? You have to have that strong emotional attachment, that strong why. Because it's a 0% chance when you're just trying to go for a million dollars. It's a thousand percent chance when you're going for a million dollars because your entire family's life depends on it. Because you know, no matter what it is that you're going for, no matter what your goal is, it's going to get hard. It's going to be tough. You're going to fail. But the only thing that's going to make you get up when you fail, because it's inevitably going to happen,
Starting point is 00:05:28 is if you have a strong emotional attachment as to why you're going for that goal. Don't allow yourself to place limits on yourself. Allow yourself to live up to your potential. Stop making excuses as to why you're not where you want to be. Stop making excuses as to why you're not as successful as you want to be or have enough money or why you don't have enough, you have so much debt. Stop making excuses why there's so much debt or why you're not the best parent or brother or sister or spouse or whatever it might be. Live limitless because this is the one shot that you get at the one life that you have. Don't come up short of your potential.
