I want to read you guys a couple of testimonies of people who were actually in the group who went through the lessons. Starting point is 00:02:59 mind 60 dot com. All right. So today we're going to be talking about what level you're playing your life at. Okay. So this is, this is something that I thought about. If you have ever heard of David Goggins, David Goggins is basically consider the toughest man alive. And, uh, you know, about five years ago, I found David Goggins. He's blown up now. He's huge. And about five years ago, I found him because he was in this book called Living with a Seal. And I would recommend the book called Living with a Seal. It's hilarious. It's super easy to read. And it's about a guy, true story, who hires a Navy SEAL to come live with him for 30 days. Guy's name is Jesse Itzler. Jesse Itzler hires David Goggins. David Goggins is considered the toughest man
Starting point is 00:03:40 alive. You know, he's run hundreds and hundreds of miles. He had the world record for the most miles ran in 48 hours, which is 205 miles straight. He ran, uh, he had the world record for, uh, the most pull-ups in 24 hours, which was actually 17 hours. He did over 4,000 pull-ups. And what he says is that most people don't ever get fat, get past 40% of their capacity. So what he says is when you get to the point, when you're pushing your body so much, Most people don't ever get past 40% of their capacity. So what he says is when you get to the point, when you're pushing your body so much, and this is the, you know, people keep asking me, you know, is it okay to work out for 60 days straight? Aren't you, you know, isn't that bad for your body? No, it's not bad for your body.
Starting point is 00:04:18 You know, it's bad to work out the exact same muscles 60 days in a row, but your body is designed for movement. Your body's designed to do this. And David Goggins is a perfect example. He works out every single day. And what he says is that when you're at the point where you've hit your wall, you've gotten to the point where you cannot go any further. And you've just, you've been running. Let's just use running as the example, right? Let's say you've been running and running and running and running and running, and you've hit that wall and you cannot go any further. He says at that point in time, you have only reached 40% of your capacity. You still have
Starting point is 00:04:54 another 60%. He says you think you're done because there's a mechanism in your brain that wants you to stay safe. And what it does is it says, shut it down. Don't go any further. You're done. So I want you to think out there. How often do you get to that point of absolute nothing left? Because if absolute nothing left is really only 40%, then what do we live our life at? 10%, 20%, 30% maybe? How often do we even get to 40%? Because he says, when you break past that mental barrier of when you think that you're done, when you only have 40% and you keep going and you don't listen to your brain, that is where you, and this is how he says it, he says you develop those mental calluses, the mind that is so strong. It's just
Starting point is 00:05:43 like a calluses that are on your body. The calluses are stronger than the mind that is so strong. You know, it's just like a calluses that are on your body. The calluses are stronger than the skin that was there before. And so I want to talk to you guys about what level you're playing at right now, right? What level you're playing at in your life. I had a conversation not too long ago with my business partner for one of our businesses and the business is going really well. And, but I think that, you know, if I'm being completely honest, I think that it's, we're both very talented and that means that we can not put a hundred percent into it and still do well. And I had this conversation. I was like, Hey, do you feel like you're playing at a level 10? And he's like, I don't feel like I'm playing
Starting point is 00:06:21 a level 10. I said, I don't feel like I'm playing at level 10 too, because in reality, 99.999% of the time, I don't think any of us are playing at level 10. Right. And I, I don't think any of us are really going at level 10. Are we doing anything in our lives at level 10, you know, work, parenting, family, relationships, charity, everything. Are we doing anything out of all of those things at level 10? If not, what the hell are we doing? Right? Shouldn't we be trying to do everything at level 10? See, cause most of the time, what are we playing at level four, five, six, maybe, you know, we can do well at five or six, you know, we can make a hundred thousand dollars a year at five or six. You know, we can be good parents at five or six. We can be good spouses, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, but do we want to just get by
Starting point is 00:07:20 or do we want to go out there and kill it? Do we want to do really well every single day, put 10, do level 10, 100% in everything that we do? You know, because if you're listening to this podcast, I'm assuming you don't want to just be getting by, right? You don't want to just be, yeah, I'm just, you're not one of those people when someone asks you at the grocery store, how you doing? You say, oh, I'm just getting by. You're not that person, right? You want to be thriving and you want to be kicking ass. That's probably what you want, right? See, that's the problem.
Starting point is 00:07:49 My business and I, my business partner and I, we were doing well, but we could be dominating our space. We could be dominating all aspects of our life. And, you know, I get a lot of people that email me and they message me. Um, and they ask, how can I, how can I, you know, how can I live up to my potential? Well, then the first thing I would ask them is what level are you playing at right now? So, you know, are you playing at a five? Are you playing in a six? Are you using 100% of your abilities right now? Because if you do level 10, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:22 if I go level 10 from a level six in my business, I'll probably have a 500% growth because when you jump up a level, you don't just go a little bit better. It's kind of like one X-ing. When you get up, go from a six to an eight, that's like two X-ing your business. It's an exponential growth. It's compoundeded results so when you jump up four or five levels you're jumping up four or five times your sales four or five times your results in your relationships in your business and your family and i think you guys want to think about that when we had this conversation our company exploded from there and the way i always like to think of our brains i like think of our brains as like ferraris. You know, our brains are incredible machines, but I feel like most people
Starting point is 00:09:09 are using their brains like Hondas. They have the capability of Ferraris, but you know, they're just going 20 miles an hour, 30 miles an hour when they have the capability of going 200 miles per hour. You know, some people are out there and they're basically have a Ferrari, but they're driving it like a 1962 Pinto, right? Some of you listening out there are like, Ooh, that's me, right? Some of you guys have been driving your car, your brain, your life, like a 1962 Pinto for 10 years, right? It gets you from A to B, but it isn't working to your full capacity. All of you are equipped with a Ferrari. What the hell are you driving it at? Right? So let me ask you this question. I want to challenge you a bit. What level are you playing your life at right now? Think about that for a second.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Answer that out loud. What are you playing your life at? I'll give you a second. Don't just keep going. Think about this. What level from one to 10 are you playing your life at right now in your work, in your relationships, in your family, in your charitable giving? What level are you playing at? And let me ask this question. And I seriously want you to think about this. What would your life look like if you played at level 10 in all aspects of your life how freaking incredible would your life be if you played at level 10 in all aspects in your work in your relationships in your family in your charitable giving if you played at level 10 what would your life look like see that, that's the thing. Most people,
Starting point is 00:10:45 they think about how much energy it requires to live at level 10, but the payoff, oh man, the payoff is so worth it because it's not easy. It's not easy to play level 10 because if it was, everybody would do it, right? People always say, oh, and this is the, this is my favorite phrase that I read online because obviously I have a following online. I put a lot of stuff online. this is my favorite phrase that I read online. Cause obviously I have a following online. I put a lot of stuff online. So almost every single thing that I post easier said than done. Somebody says that somebody says that. Yeah. Sounds nice, but that's easier said than done. I'm like, yeah, no, no crap. Everything's easier said than done. Cause you can just move your lips right now and it's done. You say it right. But to get up and do it. No, that's not easy. If it was easy,
Starting point is 00:11:25 everybody would do it. But think about that for a second. What would your life look like if you went from a five to a 10, from a six to a 10, from a seven to a 10, from a 6.5 to a 10? What would your life look like? Because you're capable of it. You're equipped with the Ferrari, but you're driving like a 1962 Pinto. Get off your tail, start working hard in all aspects, all facets of your life. Start going towards the dreams, the things that you want. And then do it today. Go as hard as you can today. Play at level 10 just for today. Don't worry about every single day. Just do it today. And then when you wake up tomorrow, do it again. Take it one day at a time. You only get one life. Why settle for pretty good?
Starting point is 00:12:07 Let me say that again. Why settle in the one life that you have on this planet for pretty good? I want you to think about that. And I want you to take that from this episode and take some time, journal on it, meditate on it. Think about what your life would be like if you lived at level 10 in all facets of your life.
