Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we come out with a short, to the point, no BS episode to help make massive changes in your mind and transform you from who you are now to who you want to be. My name is Rob Dial, and the podcast starts now. Welcome to today's episode. If you have not yet done so, hit that subscribe button so that you never miss another episode. And if you happen to miss the announcement on the last
Starting point is 00:00:45 episode, I made an announcement that I do have two coaching spots, one-on-one coaching spots that opened up with me. I very rarely ever have one-on-one coaching slots that are open, but I've opened up two slots to bring on two new people. Now, this is not for somebody who is just starting out or just starting a business and wants help growing their business. This is for someone who already has a level of success, whether that's they have a great job or they have their own company and they are trying to take it to the next level. So maybe they make good money, but they want to make great money. Or maybe they want to take it to the next level as far as their personal life or their relationships
Starting point is 00:01:24 or like I said, their business or their career or any of those things, or they want to take it to the next level as far as their personal life or their relationships or like I said, their business or their career or any of those things, or they want to take their own brand, put themselves online more and grow that as well. So if you're out there and you're trying to really, really invest in yourself, time, money, energy, and take your life to the next level and you love all of the stuff that I do, well, we can have a call every single week and you can get one-on-one coaching from me. If you want to join in and see if you can be accepted into that, there is an application process to get in. But if that is something that interests you, send me an email, rob at robdial.com. Once again, rob at robdial.com. Send me an email. Tell me a little bit about yourself inside of that email and I'll respond with the application. You can fill that out and things go well. We can have
Starting point is 00:02:10 a quick phone call. We can chat, you and I, see if it works out. And maybe, you never know, we might be having phone calls every single week to help you take your life to the next level. I've worked with many, many people over the past 13 years now, people that are on the beginning level of success in their life to all the way up to running $40 million a year companies. And I have worked with them and helped them exponentially grow themselves and their businesses as well. So if you're interested, send me an email, rob at robdial.com. Okay, today is going to be a semi rant for you, but I want to open your eyes. I had two coaching clients that I spoke to this morning and one right after the other,
Starting point is 00:02:53 both of them were just telling me about how they were worrying too much, how they, how they worry about this happening and this happening and this happening, and then worrying about this thing and this thing and all of these different worries. And they said, do you ever worry? And I personally used to worry and maybe a worry will pop up every once in a while, but worrying doesn't really happen in my life. Let me give you the reason why worrying doesn't happen in my life or why I've gotten rid of it. Most people worry and they think it's normal to worry. It's human to worry. If you're worrying about something, that that's a good thing. No, that's complete shit, to be honest with you. Sorry if there's kids in the car. I just had to let it go. It's crap. You don't have to worry. You can release
Starting point is 00:03:36 yourself of worry. Of course, maybe you'll worry about your kids and that type of stuff. But there's a difference between worrying about your family and your kids and then worrying about stuff that actually does not matter. And here's the deal. Here's what I told both of them. I am very, very aware that I'm going to die one day. I am extremely aware that I'm going to die one day. I think everybody knows they're going to die one day, but not everybody really freaking knows that they're going to die one day. So I wake up every single day trying to figure out how I can get the most from every single day. Most people go into every day just trying to get through every single day.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Mine is I know that if I leave here, I'm leaving in my house in about 20 minutes to go to the gym. I could go to the gym and get completely slammed into by a semi and die on the way to the gym. It's a possibility. So what difference would it make if I was worrying about what could be happening tomorrow or what could be happening in the future? In what type of way in my life is that serving me to keep that type of worry? For those of you that worry all the time, it's not normal to worry all the time. People try to act like it is normal to worry all the time. They act like you that worry all the time, it's not normal to worry all the time. People try to act like it is worry. It's normal to worry all the time. They act like you should worry all the time about all of these different types of things. What's normal is to be in the present moment. That's what's
Starting point is 00:04:56 normal. You know, hundreds of years ago, thousands of years ago, it was normal to be in the present moment and not to have to worry about all of these other things Oh, I wonder how I'm going to pay my bills this month. I wonder how I'm going to do this this month. I wonder if he likes me. I wonder if she likes me. That type of stuff never crossed their mind. They were in the present moment. With society nowadays, we have so much stuff, so much society just literally all day long. We're just getting all this stimuli thrown at us, all these advertisements, all of these different billboards, everything you could think of.
Starting point is 00:05:28 All these commercials about all of these different pills that will fix this because you have this type of problem. And then you watch these and you're like, man, maybe I do have this problem. I didn't even know there was a problem with me. But now that they just listed all of those different things,
Starting point is 00:05:40 maybe I do have some type of problem. They're instilling the worry in you because that's how they make money off of you. It is not normal to worry all day long. And so with that being said, I'm very aware that one day I'm going to die. I'm not worried about the fact that I'm going to die because I know it's going to happen one day. But because of the fact that I'm so aware that I'm going to die, I know that every single moment that I have is precious. And I know that the brain power that I have will start to fall throughout the day. I will have a lot of energy in the morning or let me rephrase that. I don't have a lot of energy in the morning until I have my cup of coffee, but I'll have
Starting point is 00:06:16 more willpower, more energy in the morning and more brain function in the morning. And it will start to go less and less as the day proceeds and goes on. With that being said, if I have a very limited amount of resources with time and with brain power, if I have a limited amount of resources, why would I waste those resources on worrying about something that could possibly happen or that probably will not happen? So for those of you that worry, you need to free yourself from worry. You need to stop focusing on things that might happen because what you're doing is you're taking yourself out of the present moment.
Starting point is 00:06:53 All that you know, for all you know, 30 seconds after hearing this, you could get hit by a meteor. So what are you worrying about in the future? All you have is this present moment. And all you have is the opportunity to improve on yourself is this present moment. And all you have is the opportunity to improve on yourself in this present moment. So if you focus on just the present moment in what you can do right now, not in the future, not in 10 minutes, not in 20 minutes, what can you do right
Starting point is 00:07:15 now to be happy? What can you do right now to become a better person? What can you do right now to have better relationships? What can you do right now to be a better parent? What can you do right now to have better relationships? What can you do right now to have better, be a better parent? What can you do right now to be a better spouse? What can you do right now? Because that's all that you currently have and there's no guarantee that you're going to have 10 minutes from now. So why would you waste and you are wasting your time by worrying? Why would you waste your time over something that could and probably will not happen. I want you to think about that. And I want you to realize that with every second that you spend worrying, you're wasting that second that you could be working on becoming a better version of yourself, a better spouse, a better parent, a better anything, person just in general. You're wasting your time.
Starting point is 00:08:07 anything, person just in general, you're wasting your time. Worry equals waste. You should realize that. Worrying is wasting your time. So if you really want to make changes, figure out a way that you can stop worrying and replace it with something constructive because worrying is not constructive for you. What's constructive for you is figuring a way to use this present moment to the best of your possible abilities that you can. But with that, I want to leave you the same way I leave you every single episode. Make it your mission today to make somebody else's day better. I appreciate you. And I hope that you guys go out there and have a worry-free, amazing day. Well, that's it for today's podcast. If you want the show notes for this episode, they can be found at MWFmotivation.com.
