It would come at a time when almost all branches of the American Armed Forces are failing to meet recruitment targets.

Where did you get the 15,000 number? Gender dysphoria in 2021, when Trump's first ban was lifted. There are about 1.3 million active duty personnel in the military. There are believed to be thousands of other personnel who identify as gender different from the one they were born. You're kind of muddying up the statistics here. And then there's a handful over here. Trump has nominated Pete Hegseth, who's already been being deemed a white supremacist, and they're going after him.
