Hello beautiful people and welcome to the convention center down here in glorious New Orleans
We are at Radio Row for Super Bowl 59 and this program starts now
football
Absolutely magical and obviously two days from now we will be crowning a world champion
Will it be the back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs?
Will it be the back-to-back Super Bowl champion, Kansas City Chiefs, representing the AFC?
Or will the Philadelphia Eagles,
behind Nick Sirianni and the boys,
win for a city that is known for brotherly love,
eating of poop, and climbing of greased-up poles?
Will the Philadelphia Eagles be celebrating
all over the city?
Or will the Kansas City Chiefs do something
that no team has done in the
modern era which is win three straight Lombardy's.
It's a magical time.
We're very lucky to be down here and the energy is palpable.
We are celebrating the sport.
We are celebrating the league.
We are celebrating the year and we're celebrating breaking news as it happens.
Congratulations to Ireland getting a home game next year.
And obviously, we have got to be there.
And the Talks at the Tables here at Boston Conner and at Ty Schmidt.
Nine-year NFL vet Darius J. Butler is here.
All-time leading tackler for the Packers is here, A.J. Hawke.
12-year Super Bowl champion A.Q. Shipley is here.
One half of the hammer died.
Cowboys AP Tone is here.
And I'll tell you what, you AP folks are certainly in the crosshairs right now. But joining us now ladies and gentlemen from the Ireland
comp of the NFL McQuade.
What's a crack? How we getting on?
Lads what's a crack? Hey Ireland has an NFL game coming you should be incredibly
proud of yourself alongside the entire pro football Ireland crew.
What you have done to champion the league,
champion the sport in your home country, magical.
And what's gonna happen whenever the NFL goes over there
is they're gonna wanna go back.
So congratulations, McQuade.
You've really done it this time.
Hup, hup, hup, hup, hup, hup, hup.
It's a hell of a celebration, McQuade.
How do you guys feel?
I mean, how many booms would you give an Ireland game?
Five?
Six probably.
Six big booms.
Six big booms.
I never thought, thanks for having me on, I never thought I'd see you today in my life.
I genuinely was staying out there, when you guys came to Dublin I think that helped massively
as well because it showed not just fans but it showed the league that big events, big
shows can happen and it can
be controlled and that was a great great day at Crack in Dublin but what a day
this is for the Steelers, the Rooney family and for the NFL as a whole and I
totally agree I think it'll set the standard internationally I think it'll
be a party to end all parties. Yeah and I think you know I appreciate you giving
us a tiny sliver of crack. I think everybody saw. Yeah, that was a crack.
Everybody's seeing the crack.
Crazy crack of a day.
The hospitality, how everything's set up too.
We live in Indianapolis. Indianapolis is set up to host things.
Dublin felt the same exact way. We could walk from everywhere to everywhere.
And legitimately, the way the city shut down for Georgia Tech taken on Florida State
I can't even fathom what it's gonna be for an NFL game over there and we can't wait to see it the party then all parties
I mean AP must be buzzing. You gotta get over man. I was then yeah, we're going for sure, right?
Yeah tones definitely gonna be there. Oh, okay. I think one thing is really important as well
And it's important to say it you got 32 teams in the league
31 other teams don't have the links to the island or a links to a country like the
Rooney family have so for for Don the entire Rooney family and the history that
they've had this is such an emotional but an important day for them and I just
can't wait to see the standard that they're gonna bring it to because I know
already some of the things that they have in plot that they have planned in
store it's just gonna be epic guys It's gonna be unbelievable. And the Irish people are a people that will enjoy football.
Like, obviously rugby's huge over there,
and soccer's huge over there,
and rugby sevens, I think, is gigantic over there.
There's a lot of sports over there.
But them as a people, and this is not me just,
ah, it is, I'm painting with a broad brush here.
Irish people will love football if they see it.
And do you agree with that? I think the more people that get introduced to the sport in Ireland, the more people with a broad brush here. Irish people will love football if they see it. And do you agree with that?
I think the more people that get introduced to the sport in Ireland, the more people that
love it over there.
Number one in the world in rugby.
So I'm going to take that to the hill guys straight up.
We're a sport in Ireland.
We love sport.
Gaelic football.
I know you guys have featured hurling before on your top 10.
Oh, the hurl.
Yes, yes, yes.
What a snag.
Oh my God.
Oh yeah, the lad.
Hop, hop, hop.
Yeah, it was great. It was great. Quite the crack. Yeah, it was quiteog! Oh my god. Yeah, the lad. Hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop,
hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop,
hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop,
hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop,
Every July, 82,300 people pack in the Crook Park for that.
And they're amateur sportsmen.
They go to work on the Monday morning.
We love sport.
We love the passion of it.
And yes, I think more and more people are being connected to it.
My dad's like, oh, it's too slow.
You get into it. It's been a crack at the end of the day. Yeah, it is a bit of like, oh, it's too slow. You get into it.
It's been a crack at the end of the day.
Yeah, it is a bit of a crack.
A crack is a bit of a crack.
Congratulations to the entire Pro Football Ireland crew.
Thank you, guys.
You guys are doing great work.
Thank you.
Thank you, McQueen.
Love you, McQueen.
OK, let's talk about the Super Bowl that is taking place
here in just a few days.
We have a massive update from ESPN Bet.
Let's head over to the hammer.
Don!
Cowboy AP Tone, where are we at right now? Yeah, ESPN bet. Let's head over to the hammer. Don cowboy AP tone. Where are we at right now?
Yeah. ESPN bet is the first sports spec sports book to make it a pick them on Sunday between the
chiefs and the Eagles, which is basically means on the money line, it is minus one 10 minus one 10.
There is no favorite currently right now at ESPN bet. And that kind of signifies exactly what we've
been expressing all week long where we have no idea how this game is going to go.
We're having a hard time picking which team is going to win.
It's because both teams are great.
And it's going to be an awesome.
Chiefs are favored by one still if there is a spread.
Chiefs minus one.
That's normally an indicator of where the money is potentially
for the bet.
They'll take it one way or the other.
But both being minus 110 means that the sportsbooks
have no idea.
Yeah, and other books are like even money minus 120 to the Chiefs it feels like that's the way it's going.
More and more Eagles money continues to pour in. 66% of the tickets are in the
Eagles, 75% of the money is on the Eagles and all a lot of the big bets
coming in are on the Eagles so far. So it there's a chance it might go the other
way where Eagles eventually become the quote-unquote favorite but yeah right
now it's a pick them. AJ we're talking about this while we're in the creepy Sprinter van.
Yep.
On the way over here to the convention center.
And we all had the same sentiment.
Literally every day I'm waking up with a new thought on who's gonna win again.
Yep.
I have gone over the, yeah, bingo.
I think every time you think about it, there's a new way to look at it.
And I even saw on get up,
I think there's a couple people that have been on get up like yesterday to pick
something. Yep. And then today picked a different team. There's a new way to look at it and I even saw on get up I think there's a couple people that have been on get up like yesterday that picked something
Yep, and then today picked a different team
This has been hard to figure out because you can see it going so many different directions
And I think like a Q what you say about this Eagles roster
Yeah, it's the most expensive roster in the NFL and when you look at that on paper
They win almost everywhere, but there is one guy. Yeah, it's the Chiefs. It's Patrick Bahams
It's hard to figure this out.
Could you see the Eagles winning by 24 I guess
with the way the team is?
Perhaps.
You can see that.
But then on the other side it's Patrick Mahomes.
They're like well they don't have nearly enough weapons.
It's like well I think they do.
And it's like I have no idea which way the game's gonna go.
It's literally been hour to hour in this entire thing.
Yeah the more I watch on TV,
the more I watch Dano and different guys talk about it,
I start to change my mind, I don't know. I was I was leaning Chiefs early on a little bit
I've gone back and forth. I don't know by the end of this show
I'll probably have a different opinion of what I had, you know 30 minutes ago. Who what are you doing?
You're just got completely distracted
That's kind of his move jump surprise he did yeah, it was the whole thing That's kind of his move. He was a jump surprise. He did, yeah, it was the whole thing.
That is kind of his move.
You know, he owns WWE.
He owns everything, right?
We're doing WWE's debut on Netflix from the Intuit Dome.
And me and Cole are talking directly to a camera that
is two feet in front of us.
Literally, we are talking to the camera.
Everybody in there knows we're talking to the camera.
Ari just walks his ass into the thing, maybe even got in the ring, took a couple bumps.
He'll be joining us, and I guess whenever the fuck he wants, but probably in about 30
minutes or so.
Can't wait to chat with him.
With that being said, ladies and gentlemen, joining us now is a man who is from Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, a guy who's an all-time great
when it comes to spinning a football.
Quickest release in the history of ball.
Ladies and gentlemen, friend of the program.
When he speaks, there's no flubs.
Fucking send it.
Ladies and gentlemen, Dan Marino.
Yeah!
Whoo!
Yeah!
Get it! Yeah!
Yeah!
Marino! Guys, great to see you. God, it's good to see you. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
God, it's good to see you.
Paisan, I like your notes.
Let's make sure we're taking care of all of you.
What's that?
All right.
You gotta put this on.
Yeah.
What's that?
Couldn't hear a word you're talking about there.
Hey, everybody.
What's going on?
Hey, it's Dan Maria. Yeah.
Hell yeah.
Dan the man.
Dan, OK, so you are here with NAMI, the National Alliance
of Mental Illness.
Tell me how you got involved and what is the goal here with NAMI?
So the goal is, well, first of all,
I got involved a couple years ago.
I got to know Dan Gillison, the CEO,
and we talked about doing some of this stuff then.
And also Stay Healthy Zone,
which is a partner of mine that I do stuff with.
It's a digital wellness company,
and they're gonna do digital wellness for Nomni.
And Nomni's been around forever.
Nomni's been, I think, 48 years,
it's probably on there.
So-
Yeah, I think it's the largest grassroots
mental health organization in the country.
And the thing is, is they,
I think they want to just make it just awareness,
awareness about it.
This be smart about your health.
And if you know, something comes up,
don't be afraid to ask somebody, you know,
if you have a problem, ask somebody,
if you asked your friend and a lot of times as men
and anybody, we just, you know, we don't do that.
And we just get along and try to
get along and it's crazy 2025 i don't mean crazy in that way but you get it in 2025 feels like we
know a lot more about the brain and like we have a lot more empathy i feel like for people going
through stuff than we used to it's been a quick evolution i feel like for society to kind of come
around to it don't you agree yeah i agree i agree and it's you know, it's something that's there is not going away and
That's why I think Nami is one of the
the place you could turn to and I just talked to
Who was it? Oh, you know just a Zack Zack Taylor or Zack Thomas cuz Zack Thomas
You know, he played with Junior say Alan this no to me that whole thing is like, you know, Zach said to me, he's like, I
Like I thought he was always great. He's funny laughing loves football
Lights up the room when he comes in and he said I never knew there was a problem, you know I would have tried to help him and that's the thing try to help the guys if they have a problem and and that was
Just an example. It's a bad example because I love Junior Junior was
them and that was just an example. It's a bad example because I love Junior. Junior was the best. We all do though, but that's what we're talking about here. But that's exactly kind of what this is.
I agree. I think a lot of us have a lot of friends that we've loved and we have no idea
going through something very serious. At the end of every show I say be a friend,
tell a friend something nice. It might change their life because we've had
friends, I've had friends that anytime I've seen them, positive, everything, and
then they end up passing away from their own doing,
and it's like, should we have seen the signs,
or maybe we should have just asked, you know?
But then on the flip side, we hope we get to a point someday
where people are feeling that way, they will ask people.
And I think that's why we're here.
That's what we're doing this.
It's such a big deal.
I think that's a big deal.
So thank you for doing that.
Oh, no, that's cool.
That baby Dan.
Hello, Dan.
That baby Dan.
Dungo.
There's our guy, Dan Gillison, right there. He's the CEO of Nomni. Shut up, Dan. Hey, take a look. Make the world a better place, Dan. Hello there Dan. That baby Dan. Dungo. There's our guy Dan Gillison right there.
He's the CEO of Nomni.
Shut up Dan.
Hey take him to Make Your World a Better Place Dan.
Good suit too.
Thank you Dan.
I like that pocket square too.
He's got the triple crown.
Yeah it looks good.
Triple crown there Dan.
Good work man.
Okay let's talk a little ball shall we?
Yeah sure.
Miami Dolphins aren't helping anybody's morale.
We got a guy named Gumpy back there.
I assume he thanked you immediately upon walking in.
He's from Britain.
There he is right there on the screen.
I don't know if you see him.
He's from British Columbia, Canada.
Loves the dolphins.
Has his entire life.
This year we thought we were going to go.
Gump, didn't we think we were going to go this year?
Yeah, for sure.
Thought a playoff win was coming down the chute, but here we are 25 years since we've had one.
Jeez. I know, man.
I'm sorry, that's all I can tell you.
I'm sorry.
What do you think, though?
You know what?
I thought we had a very good football team this year
until we start getting injuries, especially
at the end of the year.
And look, Tua is our quarterback.
He's going to be our quarterback.
But we need to find a way to just keep him healthy,
especially at the end of the year when you have to win games to get into playoffs and
to maybe get home field advantage or just win playoff games.
And so that's, I think, really where the focus is gonna be.
What do you, Tewiston came out of nowhere there.
Yeah, he's hit.
We saw him come out of nowhere.
Is that, how do we-
He's hit.
He's still lurking too.
Yeah, you guys were in it. Lurking, lurking, lurking. Then he's no longer playing out of nowhere. Is that? How do we? Yeah, you guys were in it.
Lurking, lurking, lurking.
Then he's no longer playing out of nowhere and he finishes the season not playing.
He actually had sunglasses on one at a time.
He had like a hip pointer.
Okay, so should be good.
You know, and it's just as far as throwing.
I mean, he'll be good in the future, but like for those two, three weeks, he was struggling
with that.
Feels like you're around the team a lot, right?
Enough, yeah. I'm around.
You trying to get a little Pittsburgh in him though, Dan?
Yeah, well grit.
Grinding the pine.
Saying the team's soft.
That's what they say.
Can't play in the cold.
They're saying they're soft, Dan.
The Yensers, we need more Yensers.
Amen.
Listen, you ain't never lie, brother.
AJ's got a question for you.
AJ, what's up, bro?
What's up?
When you look at this Super Bowl and you see Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, obviously,
I guess what do both these guys do? What have they done that
impresses you? So start with Mahomes. Oh, that's easy. I mean,
this is easy because Mahomes may end up being the best quarterback
ever. You never know because he's on a run right now and he's
just amazing. I don't know if he'll ever get to seven Super
Bowls, but if he wins this one, he's already in the Hall of Fame and and what he does is an athlete as far as how he throws the ball from different angles
And you know you really can't teach that you know and he has anticipation as everything but now also he's smart because he
He can run but he never gets hurt like from running the ball because he knows where he's in on field his awareness is there
And he's just special player specials. Yeah there, and he's just a special player, special player.
And then Jalen Hurts has been great too.
It's just, he's a different type of player, right?
He's a guy that wants to run it a little bit more
than Patrick Mahomes, and he's a above average thrower
of the football in the pocket,
but when he's dangerous is when he gets out of the pocket.
That's when he could make the big plays.
So that's basically my scouting report
on those two quarterbacks.
Can you spin it?
Can you still spin it?
Oh yeah.
Yeah, from here to there.
Yeah.
Darn, always.
I mean, I throw a little bit, but not.
We saw that commercial.
You threw the ball into Messi's boat?
Yeah.
Yeah, that was a rocket.
That was a rocket.
That thing went about 150 yards.
Yeah.
Which we still expect. Thank God for video cameras.
When people talk to you about like your quickest release and everything like that, your accuracy
and then the yards you threw for, there's always like the modern day yards where people
like this offense now, the new rules are built for this. It'll be like 2021, 2023 yardage
and then fucking Dan Marino's slides. Back in like old school then fucking Dan Marino slide.
Yeah.
Back in like old school football, Dan Marino's in there for yardage and everything like that.
Obviously you have to have a team buy in for you to play that way, but you have to have
an ability for people to debunk how football was then at that time.
My old man says that you worked at with your dad every day of your life.
Almost like an obsession almost.
Yes, with like the trying to work on your release.
And the other thing I did, which I tell all young quarterbacks
and even kids, high school kids, college kids,
is the jump rope.
My dad made me jump rope from the time I was little.
Because it keeps you, your mind and your feet
on the same rhythm in a small area which a small area is the
pocket you know and that was to me he was my dad was a Teamster truck driver
I thought that was genius that's genius
I'm gonna mess with them. Truck drivers.
Something fall off the back of that truck?
That's awesome, yeah.
There were some things that fall off the back of the truck.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's gonna happen.
My dad was a truck driver as well,
so he's had some genius ideas.
True at all.
I didn't even think about jump rope.
That seems genius.
Were we doing this one too?
Oh, I could, yeah, I could do that.
Oh, wow.
You were doing all the shit.
Yeah, but now I can't do anything.
My legs are gone, but when I was playing, during my years playing, I did that all the time.
Miami Dolphins diehard fans.
Yes, South Florida kid.
Both parents from Carroll City, so right behind Joe Robbie Stadium.
So appreciate everything you did, obviously.
What's your thoughts on our, we had the honors last night, NFL honors, two great deserving
quarterbacks, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson.
What's your thoughts on MVP this year? Well, I think both of them could have won just as easily.
Yeah, I mean, Lamar Jackson had a great year.
Awesome, but they didn't really advance, you know,
and maybe it's because Josh got a little closer, I think,
you know, and he really takes over games too,
just like, you know, Lamar does.
I just think it was his year because how he was running football in critical situations, you know Lamar does. I just think it's been his year because
how he was running the football in critical situations you know the playoff games where he
you know came from behind winning those games I mean that those are the kind of times when you
look at a guy and say okay yeah you know he's the MVP. Gosh. You know so I mean I would have voted
for either one of them. Yeah. And they both deserve it. Do you guys get a vote? XMVP? No.
No. They don't care about you they only care about this guy. Yeah. He's just so you guys get a vote? XMVP, you don't do you? No, no, no. They don't care about you.
They only care about this guy.
Yeah.
He's just so new.
He got a vote.
Yeah, man.
I got to call somebody up.
This is bullshit.
No, I'm just kidding.
I agree, Dan.
I agree.
Speaking about Josh, though, there
was a lot of talk after this last loss to the Chiefs,
another loss to the Chiefs, another loss to Patrick Holmes. People said they were started feeling bad for Josh Allen. Is he ever gonna get the big one?
How do you like what is your take on that since you know you you were an unbelievable all-time
great quarterback? What's your talk your take on on Josh and getting to the big one? So I think
Josh Allen if you talk to him like he's extremely disappointed he'll think about you know losing
that playoff game and having his chance.
But also he's you know he he's a
tough dude.
He's mentally tough.
He don't miss games.
He's been playing at a high
level for five six years now.
So he I think he feels like
he'll get back and get over that
hump you know.
But then the truth of the matter
is I went in the second year and
I never got back.
But I got close just like him a
lot of times. So he'll deal with it. But I got close just like him a lot of times.
So he'll deal with it, he'll be fine, he'll come out of that.
But he will think about that all off season and
there's a lot of times you do that, I did it too.
Rest of your life probably.
Yeah, some games.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, that's a competitor.
That's what high end athletes have to deal with.
You just talked about him being mentally tough and not missing a lot of games.
How important is it for the quarterback to be like the toughest dude on your team legitimately as you guys are
going to be legit legit tough but also mentally tough you know and then being able to deal with
all the other players and making them tough with you and making the players around you better and
he does that and you know homes definitely does that but you quarterbacks are kind of you know
the guys like your whole life your whole life. Your whole
life you guys are crazy like legit even more so now than ever before. Cause the amount of money.
When I was young my dad was a truck driver I was held up like you know. No but I'm saying like the
quarterbacks though nowadays. Yeah. These kids in high school are getting paid to go to academies.
Yeah. And then in college they're being paid it It's like, our team goes as you go,
and these kids are like teenagers getting treated like that.
The ability to remain tough in a humble quarterback
is going to be difficult. But I think it's a necessity
for the position.
There's no doubt.
Yeah, being humble and being tough,
and also with all the money they're
going to get given pretty much while they're
going through college, it can make them, like
you said, Pittsburgh, it can make them soft a little bit.
So you're going to have that guy that's mentally tough.
That's going to be able to, it doesn't matter what the money is or what it, you know, all
that that I want to play.
I want to be the best person I can be for this football team.
It's hard to find a, I think you can't, I mean, that's like the most important thing.
I think nowadays when you're finding a guy like, Hey, do you love ball or not?
Like I think that is a big deal. Cause like these kids are kids are being set up to be soft you know not their fault. Yeah. Not their fault.
Never want to blame them for it. I know. But you get a million dollars when you were 15 or 16. I probably could have yeah I would have taken it.
We all would have but can you imagine what you would have became? I mean it's gonna be I mean, it's unbelievable. Connor has a question
for you. Yeah. Dan yesterday. Also the hall fame class was announced and obviously you're
a hall of famer and there's a lot of discourse. Only four guys went in. No Adam Vinatieri
who we all thought obviously first about hall of famer. Yeah. Sounds like you do too, even
though he's a kicker and that's kind of the knock on him, even though, you know, he's
one damn near more than anybody. Also no Eli Manning. What do you think's kind of the knock on him even though you know he's one damn near more than anybody also no Eli Manning what do you think about kind of the state of the Hall
of Fame right now and what is kind of the standard you would say is to get into the
Hall of Fame because it's kind of blurred almost at this point because you know Vinnie
and Eli they both have the moments they have the rings but still they're not you know getting
in on their first ballot try. Yeah I mean that's that's the difficult thing because
like Chris Carter I thought Chris Carter would go in on the first ballot try. Yeah. That's the difficult thing because like Chris Carter I
thought Chris Carter would go in
on the first ballot.
It took him six years.
So I'm not in on the voting and
how they vote and what the
decisions are made.
But I know that we've been
having a lot of class.
I don't know this for a fact but
I know we've been having a lot
of classes with seven people
in right for about the last 10
years and then we had one there
was 20 people because they were making up from
Yeah, right and so maybe they're just kind of you know watered down a little bit and let's not have as many guys
But whoever is making that decision is probably on the committee. I'm sure you know see but now there's four this year, right?
So that means there's gonna be a backup. Yeah next year and next year's glasses
Yeah, like they're talking about Eli.
It's like, is Eli going to get it next year?
Who knows?
Because Drew Brees, yeah.
And let alone Yonda.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's tough.
That's what makes it tough.
Larry Fitz.
You guys do like Hall of Fame dinners and texts?
No, I mean, no dinners.
Yeah, when we go to Hall of Fame, we'll have dinner.
Yeah, but what do you mean texts?
I don't know if you guys just grew up texting.
I just, I mean, I talked to Ronnie Lott two days ago. So yeah, we text a little gold jacket text
Yeah, that's a that's a big Hall of Famer right there. You are as well. You are as well
Obviously you broke down both quarterbacks. What's the story from this game that maybe because we've talked about this now, okay one thousand
Okay, we talked about this now okay one thousand times okay we talked about
every fucking angle you could possibly have for this thing dad so is there
anything that you think hasn't been talked about or that you're thinking
about whenever you're trying to talk about how you keep Patrick Holmes on the
sideline you run the football yeah you've already talked about that yeah oh
man give me some other examples that partianni and Eri. Stopping Saquon.
That part is huge.
That's what they're going to try to do.
They're going to try to run the football and keep Patrick on the sidelines.
That's what I would do if I was the head coach.
Third down, red zone.
Third down, red zone. Third down is important.
Always, no matter what game it is.
And scoring in the red zone.
In Philadelphia, instead of getting field goals, they get touchdowns.
Putting a little more pressure on Patrick know Patrick yeah how do you feel
what other angle special teams maybe then might come down special teams Jake
Elliott's missed a couple kicks he's obviously Philadelphia Eagles he's been
great in the past Buckeye seemingly never misses in big
games they go for it a ton the Eagles on fourth down position, those are all. Yep. And then you Taylor Swift. That's an angle right there.
How many times? So here's an angle.
How many times are we gonna see here?
See her on on TV torn?
What do you think over under four and a half?
Four and a half times on TV.
Yeah, I think I say more like 300.
Travis about to have a big game.
Yeah, I sound like you're saying that. Get Travis the rock. Get him in the paint. Yeah.
What about that? Like Travis Kelsey? Obviously people throughout the season talk about his
stats and then in the playoffs he has his best game or there are certain players that
are just like that where when the lights come on, you know, they just play their best. There
are and he's one of them, you know, he's gonna be in the Hall of Fame for sure eventually He may know with the way it's going. He might not be a first batter
But he he's those kind of you know, I know he's he's the kind of player that you know steps up
And he might have been injured a little bit or whatever
But you know big game steps up all the time and that's what you're gonna love it to be in this situation
Yeah, he's a Hooper out there
you know, it's kind of the conversation that we had with Fred Warner, who was talking about
playing against Travis because they talk about these Travis routes where who knows what's
on the actual call sheet for Travis.
So he meant just yeah, they just had like, did you have anybody like that?
And yeah, there was a guy.
Well, I mean, I felt like Clayton and Duper would do that a little bit if they felt, you
know, because we would try to read coverages with them and they would read the coverage.
You all have to see the same thing.
Same thing. We always talk about it.
We'd always talk about it.
And then so we had that kind of relationship.
And then Keith Jackson, Keith Jackson was another one
that was like that, you know, the tight end from.
How come everybody doesn't do that? What is that?
Oh, I think they do do it.
It's just a matter of the players and your,
I guess, not only awareness in space, space of a secondary,
but also instincts.
So you got to have certain guys have that
and certain guys don't.
I mean, it's just, you know,
certain guys you're telling them to run down here
and make a right,
and they just run right down there and make a right.
Sometimes you shouldn't.
Sometimes you go down there and turn around.
Sit on a little window.
Sit down and turn it up.
Now, Mark Clayton was one of those guys, you talk about how it's always somebody that pops
up on a list from Marino's era.
He's one of those guys, we talk about Saquon, his touchdowns, average distance of his touchdowns
over 30 yards.
I think Mark Clayton may have been like third on that list.
Yes.
Yeah.
Big time.
Oh yeah, big time player.
Yeah, he's awesome, man.
I love Mark.
And he's another one I thought should be get you know to get in the Hall of Fame
You know you do have numbers are different, huh?
No, you had a couple guys from your area Eric Allen and Sterling sharp. Yes, and they sure what's your thoughts on those guys?
Finally getting in it's great. I mean, I mean, that's the biggest you know besides
Your kids or whatever
I mean that's the biggest day your life and for your family's life is to get into
Hall of Fame because there's only so many guys that get in and that's it.
That's forever and ever.
So that's, you know, my thoughts are I'm so happy for them and they're going to enjoy
it and enjoy that day.
There's levels to this shit too.
The Hall of Famers, you know, like there's guys that make it in the NFL and there's like
the All Pros.
Then there's the MVPs.
Then there's the Hall of Famers.
That's forever.
We appreciate all the Hall of Famers for everything
they've done for this league.
Who are you picking to win?
Kansas City.
Wow.
That was very quick.
Yeah.
Did you waffle it all?
Have you waffled it all since it?
No, I've been did that.
Yeah, well, I thought I want Philly to win just because I
don't want to see Kansas City win.
And a lot of Italians are there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot of Italians.
Pennsylvania, I'm Pennsylvania.
So yes, Philly, I want Philly to win, but I think Kansas City's gonna win.
Just because they do.
Exactly, and Patrick Mahomes, number 15, he's pretty good.
The guy.
He is.
Go, Paul.
Will they ever be able to win in Miami?
Legit.
Two main distractions in Miami?
No, no, it's not the distractions
It's just yeah, we'll get there. We'll get there
What what about the the narrative of that?
They can't win in the cold as a guy who grew up in Pittsburgh and lived in Pittsburgh
How much of that actually plays in when it's like, you know, you've been in Miami for a long time
Because I mean they have to play in New England late in the season and you know in New York like it's is that is that
A thing or is that mostly just a media driven narrative?
I think it is a narrative that's there
because you gotta change the narrative
if you want someone to stop talking about it.
And we haven't done that really.
I mean, even when I played,
we'd always try to get home field advantage
and so you don't have to go to Buffalo
or you don't have to go to Pittsburgh or Kansas City
when it's below zero because we're not used to playing in that stuff.
So that's the narrative is that we got to win more games
and get home feeling better.
Yeah.
You feel like you're soft now because you're
in my time in Miami?
I got really soft, especially when I retired.
I'm soft now.
How's the golf game?
Pretty good. Yeah? Yeah, it's OK. Like where at? I'm soft now. How's the golf game. Pretty good.
Yeah.
That's OK.
Like where I'm like a handicap.
Damn.
OK.
Yeah.
You're rolling some pots it
sounds like I make some pots.
Where do you live now full time
down for Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale.
Laudy.
Hockey state.
Good.
Yeah.
We're talking about.
And I live not far from that
arena.
It's fun to go watch those
games.
Oh yeah.
The Panthers.
You grew up a Penns fan? Oh yeah.
Mario Lemieux, well obviously, he's a peer,
but then Pierre LaRouche, remember that name?
Yes, I remember Pierre LaRouche.
That's my guy, he was the old, old thing.
Mario Lemieux is a peer.
Yes, yes.
That's awesome.
He's awesome.
He had his feet.
No, I did know what you meant.
No flubs.
You know.
Right.
Hocken said it.
That's good. No flubs. Yeah, but I, you know. Right, fucking said that. Good.
No flubs.
You know what he said.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Ladies and gentlemen, Hall of Famer MVP,
Yinzer legend, dolphin hero, Dan Marino.
Yeah.
I like that, Yinzer legend.
Yeah, you are.
You are, always will be too.
Thanks, brother.
Hey, thank you.
It's great being on.
Thank you guys.
Thank you, man, Dan.
Thank you, Dan.
Thank you, Dan. Thank's great being on thank you guys
Appreciate you man. Oh, it's okay. Thanks. Thank you very much. Thank you. There's leg honor. Thank you, Dan
Hey, you look good, man
Still got it. Don't bring it still still got it Dan.-O! Still bringing it.
Oh shit, Coach Patricia. Hey, ladies and gentlemen, I'm Trisha.
Hey, coach!
Hey, what a season.
A lot of podcasts, a lot of media,
and also it looks like a lot of fitness.
You look good, coach, how you feeling?
I appreciate it.
That's probably the best intro I got right there.
Oh shit, like I think that's great.
No, we're surprised.
It's a good thing, not a bad thing.
How you doing?
I'm great, I'm great. Yeah, so I have that's great. You know, we're surprised. It's good thing. Not a bad thing. How you doing? I'm great
I'm great. Yeah, so I have excellent media training obviously coming from Bill at New England
You know, we practiced a lot of you know, so this is a whole new world for me this year
It's been a lot of fun roast master just walked by incredible work Jeff. Honestly, you've just been
Assassinating people with your words. Hey the roasts have been amazing. What is this an ugly lives?
Thank you words. Hey the roasts have been amazing. What is this an Ugly Lives Matter?
Thank you. All right I love you guys. Pat you're the king. What is this an Ugly Lives Matter? Jeff you're the man. That was fucking sweet. How many times do you think he's used that? Sorry coach.
Sorry coach. Okay so had a show with Coach, did some breakdown with NFL
films.
What is the thought?
Are we getting back into coaching?
Are we doing media?
What is the plan for Matt Patricia?
Yeah, we're having a lot of fun doing media this week.
So it's been great.
You know, I can't get on your show, but you know what I mean.
No, I'm not on this side.
No, I'm just kidding.
No, right now.
Media's been great.
It's been a lot of fun, but we'll see.
See what happens here in the next couple weeks.
Okay, we would like to have you next year
if you're doing media again.
I'm in, I'm on.
Let's go.
We had no idea you were gonna be doing media.
No.
This year, and then whenever we saw you all over things,
we were excited for you and your big ass brain.
Are we still drawing up plays?
Are we still Ticonderoguing?
Have we let go of some of the old ways for this new life?
What is new in your life?
We're always studying, we're always coming up with with different things
The pencil is you know, that's on it's on hiatus right now. So what are you doing? Are you running 10 miles a day?
You look yeah, I appreciate it. No a lot of you know what just as coaches, you know D
But you know like we wake up early and nothing to do so work out, you know boxing three days a week
Oh a lot of that which is fun yeah boxing was fun I used to do it when I
was a little kid until I got hit and those people know how to hit really hard
and I had headgear and I was like I think I need a new sport this is not
good virtual reality boxing real deal yeah you know what's great about that
horrible to watch after you're done like your buddies filming you and you're like
I know I better never get in a fight because I'm gonna get my ass kicked this
is not a big heavy right that's the game in the virtual reality go through a heavy And you're like I know I better never get in a fight because I'm gonna get my ass kicked. This is
Coach you look amazing appreciate it. What are your thoughts on the game? Yeah, I like Philly I think you know defensive guy weren't you I was I was so I just like what they've done this year
And I think it's gonna be a great game obviously it's really hard to bet against Patrick my homes and Andy Reed, but
I'll go with this stat,
you know, two teams in the Super Bowl that have had the number one defense and the number
one rusher in the league, Philadelphia, see how they do but the other one was the 92 Cowboys
so I got to go defense.
Okay, I love that AJ, you got a question for coach?
Yeah, when you what is Philly gonna have to do to win the game?
Like obviously not turn the ball over all of that sake like but the sake one have to
have a monster day does Jalen hurts have
to be like what has to happen yeah Spags is gonna try to stop say yeah yeah you
got it right that's the number one thing Spags will take them away he'll use some
of his blitz packages to kind of you know confuse the run game he's got the
run blitzes and then probably crowd the line of scrimmage for the passing game
and make Jalen's eyes come down but I think the biggest thing for Philly you
know playing against my homes is you got to defend the first play not the second play.
Don't let them out, don't let them create you know Kansas City is just when you really
look at them and why you know so many people are like how are these guys winning they're
just winning in a different way.
You know the early turnovers in the game they just overcome them but when you take a look
at third down their tops in the league when you take a look at the two minute drives and
the commonest that you know they go down just methodically score you know those are the areas you really got to focus on if you want to stop them
So I think they would do a good job on third down
I think that can shorten some of the drives that they have and then those situational plays will come up big
D bud has the last question for those gotta have it moment flavor the week
I feel like Philly and especially when you get in the rear there
You never know what they're gonna pull out of their ass. What is it like preparing for?
KC in that red area compared, I guess, to the rest of the league?
Yeah, you know, and Andy Reid obviously does a great job down there.
And his staff, they've got that really cool kind of Friday collaboration they do
where they get those special plays that they look up and, you know, get that buy-in.
But, you know, Andy coming from that West Coast background, you know,
we're always talking about defensively flat to the left, offensively flat to the right.
But the thing that Patrick Mahomes has done is he's been able to flip all that.
So now you've got those two kind of flats either side you're trying to defend in the
got to have it situations.
So that makes it really difficult.
But again, the extended plays or even just let Patrick run, you can't do that.
You got to make sure you keep him in and you got to get Kelsey.
He's going to be the guy.
All right.
Well, keep us updated on what you're doing.
I appreciate it.
So good to see you guys. You guys are the best
He knew Pete Carroll was gonna throw that ball, that's right
Uh-huh. See did people still wonder why they didn't give the ball Marshawn Lynch full Patricia said I knew they weren't
Practiced it. That's what we were ready for. It's all in the dock. All right, right ladies gentlemen joining us now without further ado I think this man runs the world
pretty much every company that we do work with he's in charge ladies and
gentlemen the man who was the inspo for the character Ari Gold Ari Emmanuel
Ari Emanuel. Oh yeah.
Shout out.
Okay, they're titles.
They're titles, Ari.
Learn the business.
Jesus.
How was dinner?
Phenomenal.
Dinner was good.
It was.
Learn the business.
Yeah, okay.
You guys have arrived here.
Jesus, look at this.
We're the real deal, Ari.
You guys are real now.
What Ari's
saying there about dinner is obviously we did not plan anything for all the boys.
He cared about you guys but didn't plan anything. Well we got a lot going on Ari.
So you know table for 20 Super Bowl week in New Orleans is not always easy.
So I call Ari, I say do you know anybody down here? He goes ah and he hangs up on me.
And I'm in a group text all of a sudden
with a bunch of people I don't know.
And this person will take care of it.
So then I call you and I say, I'm not doing that.
I've never met any of these people.
And then you chew me out for that.
And then all of a sudden we got dinner
at Doris Metropolitan workplace.
Doris is free.
I think he thought I was gonna make the reservation.
Like what? No, not you.
I wanted you to give me the connection to call said person.
But it got taken care of.
Yeah, it was awesome.
It was great.
Lady named Nicole on your team took care of this.
We had great food.
So let's talk about your life.
Okay.
So we always just assume you're Ari Gold.
Now, after meeting you a little bit more, I think we are more in that belief.
Yeah, sure. You guys only met me for 15 minutes.
Yeah, but we knew it.
They hear you.
That's all it takes.
We hear the phone calls.
They hear you as well.
You have been an agent your whole life,
and then now you just buy everything as an agent still?
Like, how would you describe who you are to somebody?
So in 95, I was an agent for four years approximately.
Before 95, I started the company Endeavor.
Had an idea what I wanted to do.
We're now in 2025.
Worked out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
OK, so Endeavor is an agency?
Endeavor is an agency. It's a marketing company. It's a licensing company. It's a lot of things.
Okay, and is Endeavor the head or is now TKO the head?
So we had Endeavor. Through Endeavor, we bought a bunch of companies. One of them was UFC.
Congratulations.
Thank you very much.
That's good.
Way to go.
Goodbye.
Goodbye.
Thank you very much.
At the time, even you were saying like... Me? Yeah, you. Congratulations. Thank you very much. Good bye. Good bye. Thank you very much.
At the time, even you were saying like-
Me?
Yeah, you.
No.
That dude's overspent.
No, not us.
We would never say that.
It's a global business.
We're overspenders, boy.
And then, you know, we made the television deal and then we took UFC and we merged it
with the WWE.
And when did you decide you're gonna just start buying up these sports
conglomerates?
Because I think in the entertainment world, you entertainment suits kind of
stay in your world and then the sports suits kind of stay in their world.
It feels like you have legitimately purposefully tried to get into the
sports world.
And I think it's cause you're a sports fan.
Love sports.
I think that is a real deal.
No, but I saw kind of what was going on in that you had the streamers, you had where
cable and where the broadcast business was.
And if they wanted to get in the advertising business, the only way to really do it in
a significant way was being in the sports business.
And so we, it's just part of the ecosystem of entertainment sports.
And so we moved into sports also.
And you enjoy your time in sports thus far?
What have you learned about the business of sport maybe
that's different than the entertainment business?
More money.
In the sports world?
Yeah.
A lot more.
I think you found a pretty good amount of money in your world.
You could in, you know, we make a lot of money,
used to make a lot of money in the television
and movie business by packaging stuff.
Packaging TV shows, the economics were different, and the movie business.
When we moved into the sports world, we could own the asset as opposed to representing the
asset.
And so when you own an asset, you get all the money.
That's pretty nice.
Hell yeah.
And that's better.
That's pretty nice. Hell yeah. And that's better.
Yeah, yeah.
That's more.
That sound business as you are going to go down is, I think greatest business.
You're going to be the greatest businessman of all time?
Is that what they're going to say about you?
No, no, no.
Not even close.
Oh, shut up.
You own everything.
Yeah, who's better?
I don't know how that would work.
I don't know.
There's a lot of people in tech that are pretty good.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're right.
That's a whole different world. Tech business has massive platforms tech that are pretty good. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you're right That's a whole different world tech business has
Those are massive platform dogs. Yeah
Business wise over there and the boys have a lot of questions, but let's talk about this
No, hold on one second. Did any of you guys see the teaser? Yeah
Principal P he immediately turned into a movie star. He kind of calls me all the time. What do you think?
That I got you to do that was pretty good.
Yes, okay.
Come on now. I put the old Ari Gold fucking...
So you are lucky that we all grew up watching Entourage.
Yeah.
So like, I mean, if you look at our show, it is, you know...
It's your Entourage.
Not Entourage, they're the crew. Everybody works though.
You know, we're in the follow-up to entourage as opposed to the first season
We're in when everybody has jobs and everybody's doing everything but doing shit with your friends like watching on stars like that is possible
Okay, we want to do that. But Ari Gold was by far the greatest character in that show
Yes
And like the way the business got done and the handled and then the loyalty, you know at the very end and like the compassion
And everything like that Ari Gold was by far.
So as I start hearing these rumblings of you being the one that they're at, and
I got the first chance to get a meeting with you called Nick Khan.
Nick Khan has to call me now.
Nick Khan is president WWE, so he has to call people for him now, cuz he has it.
So Nick calls me, he goes, hey, yep, you got to go meet Ari Emanuel Super Bowl week.
This was last year.
Super Bowl week last year.
Is that when we met?
I believe.
Vegas, yes.
Wow.
I believe it was last year.
And Nick's like, hey, Ari Emanuel wants to meet you.
When's that possible?
And I'm like, I'm leaving on Friday.
They're like, well, we'll do it on Friday then.
It's like perfect.
And I just started thinking, I think I tell the boys, I'm like, I'm going to meet Ari
Gold.
I'm going to meet Ari Gold.
Then I walk into that room and you're sitting there and then you start talking and it's like
I've been waiting for somebody to give Vince for the Mentos commercial. Yeah, it'd be in the biggest star
Yeah, that's like an actual agent like an actual business person
I have massive respect for your business acumen and the way you view things
Which is why whenever you pitch something to be like a commercial for the NFL for Super Bowl my immediate reaction is no and normally that
would be a forever no just won't let you know that nah get the hell out of my face but then
if you continue to say like hey you should do this and then Nick was doing the same thing
it's like all right let's do it I want to let you know thank you I enjoyed it I enjoyed
it so much I had so much fun I'm gonna you right now, Pete Berg said he's a natural.
Okay.
Funny as F.
Well, who's Peter Berg?
He did Friday Night Lights. He's my best friend.
Lone survivor, college roommate.
Yep.
And then he just did American Primeval.
Really good.
Have you guys seen that?
Yes.
Unbelievable.
And he's about to do another movie called Mosquito Boat with the same guy that wrote
FriNet Lights, Buzz Bissinger.
Brian Grazier producing, who produced FriNet Lights.
He's gonna be in it.
What?
Yes he is.
You're gonna be in a movie?
Yes he is.
He's gonna be a sergeant in it.
You're gonna be in a movie?
True story.
He didn't tell us this.
True story.
World War II.
We don't know if this is happening.
No, no, no. This is definitely happening. This is definitely happening. We don't know if this is happening. No, no, no, this is happening.
This is definitely happening.
He's already called me up training.
I got my friend's father was a sergeant.
Hey, listen, my friend from high school,
yeah, the, um, but with that being said,
as Ari knows,
there's a lot of business that needs to be said.
He's definitely doing it.
Gonna be a movie star.
Movie star! Holy shit. He's definitely doing it
And when you see the commercial that character could be a movie
Lassner has talent though. That's a whole different animal I will say first time ever acting Peter Berg obviously I knew who he was
I just asked you to explain to people who he was
So cool so nice has reached out to me because he knew how self-conscious
I was about it all.
Because, boy, that could go really bad.
Just being an actor, everybody can see a bad actor.
You know?
That's why we respect John Cena so much.
Because John Cena is such a good actor.
And Dwayne.
And Rock. Good actor.
There's a lot of people that aren't, you know, that aren't.
That go out there and do bad.
Natural.
You know, well, they just had me be an asshole.
That's an easy thing to do.
AJ has a question for you, Ari.
Yeah, it seems like you do everything.
You own everything.
Is there anything that you could tell us
that you want to get into that maybe you
haven't dipped your toe into yet in the business world,
sports, whatever it may be?
Well, we're starting to talk about boxing.
OK.
And so we're going to.
With Dana?
Dana's been trying.
He's been talking about doing boxing for a long time, right?
We're kind of looking at that right now and can you revive boxing?
Like is but where is boxing right now?
I guess compared to maybe 20 years ago.
Well, I think he got the Ali act that I think hurt it.
Hopefully, who knows what's going to happen with the Ali act.
And then Dana's got a plan for boxing.
We'll see. You know, there's a lot of work, a lot of wood that's got to be chopped there.
But we're looking at it pretty seriously.
Hey, that's a that would work, a lot of wood that's gotta be chopped there, but we're looking at it pretty seriously.
Hey, that would make sense with the TKO group.
Obviously.
Wrestling, fighting, boxing in there.
And I don't know, how much is there a collaboration
between those two companies with you,
or are they just operating?
The back office, we saved a lot of money
and kind of got more efficient.
There has been UFC fighters, as we know,
that have gone to the WWE.
Definitely.
And there's been some WWE people that have fought in the...
But that's not, that's not the norm.
How about business-wise, though?
Like, Nick, Dana...
Well, when we go out and, you know, we make, um, sponsorship deals or site fees in different
countries and different states, all that stuff, yes.
Okay, because the boxing world, Nick Khan con the president of w two b u e s
obviously
uh... i think you grew up in vegas
yes loves being started yeah
like he loves bonds in a day in a does to write out that they have started out
boxing being that could be like a real passion project plus something that
they've been sported by his question for you are about to tell the w w e heard
some of the goes to negotiation stories about that.
But how has the Netflix era been so far as early on?
But any surprises, anything surprising,
or how has it been so far?
They're incredible partners.
Bella there has been incredible.
Ted Sarandos have been incredible.
Show's performing.
So we are thrilled.
And I think they're happy.
The numbers are up really good.
So all good.
How's that go?
How do you end up with Netflix?
Because I assume there's other streaming platforms just like any NFL.
Prime's getting involved in this entire thing.
We assume it's only a matter of time for Google and maybe does a little bit more with YouTube.
They have a lot of money.
They could probably get into it.
X is going to start streaming things.
How does Netflix become the one that the WWE goes with?
So I had a breakfast with Bella.
Started talking about...
Who's Bella?
Bella, she runs all of content and programming
underneath Ted Sarandos at Netflix.
Hey, Bella, you're doing a great job.
Yeah, Bella.
Oh, yeah, Bella.
Bella, you're doing a great job.
We here at the Bad Mags Show love what you've done.
We did a presentation to her, and then all of a sudden, it was first started talking about NXT, actually.
And then it just immediately moved to Raw.
And over Christmas, a year and a half ago, or whatever, we're on a Zoom.
It's all approved.
We have to have a conversation with Ted Sarandos.
He's in London seeing Stranger Things play.
We get on the Zoom, Shapiro and I, right before Christmas and the Christmas holiday.
He's there with his CFO.
It all gets done.
We hang up the phone.
We do a jig.
Yeah, absolutely.
You know, and Mark Shapiro, that's a huge deal.
Yeah.
And it's changing the future for like shows like this.
Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And for other shows. How much of like, shows like us. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
And for other shows.
How much of that do you, because you're old school agent, OK?
I'm old school.
You are old school.
You've been around a long time.
We watch a whole show about you.
Yeah.
100.
Inspo, yeah, you're 100 years old.
You're in great shape.
64.
OK, well, you look like, hey.
OK.
Great shape.
Hey.
Hey.
Put her there.
Because I'm going to call from this asshole, cold tub, hot tub, infrared, so on.
Wow.
Red light, yeah, sorry, red light.
He's got the ball, you know, the ball to roll on the muscles.
Oh, really?
Roll out the crates.
You know, I said to him, if he's gonna be a movie star, you gotta get a little shake.
Okay, I'm comfortable, you know, I'm comfortable, but there is reasons to do things and that
would certainly be the case, but like you've had to adapt now, right? And the streaming deal was a massive deal for the future, has also been in part of the
past.
What do you see in the future?
All these platforms are just going to continue to just...
Well, you know, you have linear falling off pretty...
Still exists.
Still exists.
It's not going away.
And, you know, you had the NFL made a 10-year deal.
NBA made it a deal.
We started it making a broadcast streaming,
linear deal plus streaming.
And I think that will be kind of the norm of it all.
But the original premise in 95 was there's gonna be
a significant amount of distribution
and content is gonna be limited.
The things that create content, you guys, NFL, the
NBA, us, therefore the value of those things are gonna be more valuable with
infinite, it's just supply and demand and that I think it bodes well for people
that create content. UFC, WWE, bull riding, all the things that we're doing, boxing,
etc. So I'm feeling good. Yeah it's content. You guys should be feeling good. We are. Oh yeah. Yeah, don't
you worry about that buddy. You get that five billion dollar deal done with the Netflix and it's like,
well WWE just did a five billion dollar deal, the NFL just did at least a
billion dollar deal. We're connected to all parties. We are also live. Yes. That is great. Every day.
Thank you for getting the sports. Sorry. We appreciate you bringing the brain over there.
Connor has a question for you. Speaking of sports and you mentioned the NBA there. Why
do you think kind of the NBA and then the NHL MLB is kind of a different story, but
those two in particular haven't seen like the growth and success that the NFL has over the past you mean on ratings or I'm yeah
I'm ratings just on ratings because the NBA on digital like we talked about all the time. We hope it's it's you have
82 games and so
What's important, you know kind of in that series and I think Adam did a great job with the early playoff
Concept that he had.
Yeah.
You have 164 games in baseball, go Cubs.
You know, so I think that's the hard part of it.
But there, you know, I think once people get comfortable and you know, you also had the
local stations, the RSN, once the Fox deal has problems,
so they're cleaning that up.
And the local markets, it's very good.
Are they gonna go direct the teams or not?
So, you gotta look at the aggregate of the rating system,
not just the national numbers.
Yeah.
How about the NBA?
Let's expand on that a little bit.
Luka Donchik is now a Laker.
Yes.
Yeah, you love the Lakers.
Even in Entourage.
I'm a Bulls fan and a Laker fan.
Oh, come on.
That's bullshit.
I love that.
East Coast West Coast, shut up.
That's ridiculous.
Who's talking to you?
You're a fool.
Yeah, that sounds like a little bit of bullshite.
But with that being said, you're one of the-
Can you say that here? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, I negotiated the deal. You can say those words. Yeah, yeah sounds like a little bit of bullshite, but with that being said, you're one of the Can you say that here? Oh yeah.
Oh yeah, I negotiated the deal.
You can say those words.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, there is a little bit.
I hear a lot of people complaining.
In my family, if you couldn't use a four-letter word, there was no conversation.
They go.
In my family as well.
That is a lot of things in a lot of people's convos, especially on the internet, so it's
kind of an archaic model not to say words like shit, which are completely A-OK everywhere
else but somehow not on TV in the afternoon whatever the case people are upset about
that negotiate it into your deal. Just go ahead and do that but the NBA
this felt like a work didn't it? This felt like a work with the Luca going to
the Los Angeles Lakers everybody feeling the same way about it shout to Anthony
Davis and Kyrie we think you're a great basketball team honestly I think it's
that you don't deserve that. But Lucas 25,
the future of the league, and he somehow just gets traded to Los Angeles.
And then they get Mark Williams after that with a, I mean, unbelievable.
So you're very pumped as a Lakers fan. What about for the NBA as a whole?
I think it's great. I think, you know, everybody was nervous about the trade deadline. You
can't make any moves. This trade deadline was insane.
Like everybody was flying around, rumors all the time.
Everybody was paying attention to it.
I think it's incredible for the sport.
Kevin Durant, allegedly not happy.
Not happy.
Not happy about his name.
Only the Bulls traded to get their pick back
that they traded.
Yeah.
Why don't you buy the team, bub?
Terrible franchise.
That's terrible.
That city sucks right now.
Geez.
Well, they used to be great when there was a great mayor there.
I mean like.
There you go.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Good family, good family.
So I want to ask you a question.
I want to ask you a question.
So Elimination Chamber, March 1st.
Toronto.
I think there's some pretty good things gonna happen there.
Do you think so?
Oh, I do.
Wow, what are you in the writers' room now?
What is this guy?
What is this guy?
What is this guy?
How involved in all these businesses are you?
You're updated every single day?
I'm in them.
I'm not in them, like I don't pick the fights and I don't pick
what's going on at the WWE or but on the business side yeah but I just I hear things. Okay so we
talk to football people. A 73 year old just got hired back again as a head coach. Bill Belichick
just went to college. Chuck Pagano our guy just went back on a team after saying he wasn't going
to do that ever again.
Some people in the football world are addicted to football.
That's a culture.
You are always going to be in business.
You just feel like you're always trying to figure out a business,
trying to figure out a plan, trying to conquer a business, conquer a strategy.
Is that how you feel like you're always going to be?
You know, here's what I would say.
Could you ever take time off?
Here's what I would say.
People say, oh, you work out, I only want to be healthy,
I don't want to live forever. And I only want to work if I'm still curious and I'm still
happy and I'm still learning. And I'm still curious, I'm happy and I'm learning. So I'll
still be doing it. Eventually, you know, that won't be the case, but I love it. Well we
appreciate the hell you've done for us. Incredible.
Both for other companies, that'll help us probably in the future.
And also directly for us, most recently a 20 person reservation within an hour.
Phenomenal.
At a phenomenal stage.
Cheesecake.
I'm happy.
Cheesecake was so good.
Does Tone has one?
Yeah, I do.
Pat just reminded me of it when he said, you know, I negotiated my own deal.
I could say whatever I want. Have you ever you've known him for a year
You ever work with someone like him that does anything like that? Come on, buddy. Uh
Yeah, who so I can find out well, I mean
Every client is unique, but they all are individuals. They all have their own shtick. You mean Larry Larry David
You know, he does what he wants to do. Marty Scorsese
does what he wants to do. Seth MacFarlane does what he wants to do. They all have their
own thing. And it's incredible. That's what makes them great artists.
How many, so you rep all those guys you just talked about?
Yes. Tyler Perry, he does what he wants to do. So you're not unique.
Who don't you rep?
Full time, I don't represent your ass.
Yeah.
And that's a good spot to be.
I think, no, we are very lucky that you've been working
your ass off for us though.
Thank you for stopping by.
What are you in town for?
I got the lunch at Fanatics.
I got a couple meetings.
What are you doing at the Fanatics lunch? You serving the food or? No, no, I got a couple meetings. What are you doing at the Fanatics lunch?
You serving the food or?
No, no, I got a couple meetings there.
Ah.
Fixing terms.
How much?
Do you own Fanatics?
Do you own Fanatics?
We have an investment.
Okay, there's a lot of people in the sports,
you need to know this.
A lot of people in the sports world
not necessarily thrilled that Fanatics is the only option
and that maybe it doesn't get right.
What don't they get right?
A lot of stuff.
Jerseys, names, numbers.
A lot of customer complaints.
People get pissed, man.
We got to get lists from you guys.
We got to have a meeting.
It's on Twitter.
It's on- we can aggregate the information if you'd like us to,
but it's out there.
OK.
It's going to cost you-
Do you think the- just because I'm a bear fan, as you guys know.
Yeah.
We didn't talk bears, but that's OK.
Don't worry about that.
Definitely talk bears.
I thought-
Yeah.
Do you think they're going gonna have to sell? Oh
Well, okay, you look at your
And what do you think the price can be you buy them?
So what it would be eight nine billion in Chicago. Don't you think it might be ten ten plus?
Yes, what just one of the only NFC teams only one team?
Sure, think about it. How much would it be? I think it's got to be between eight and ten, right?
Yeah, if if if what if Washington went for six and a half? Yeah. Yeah, probably eight eight nine build the new stadium, too
What do you think what is the chance I love the Bears I love what we're doing I love the coaching staff now
Oh now yeah, you love the quarterback. I love the quarterback.
I love what we're going to do with our pick.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Buddy just brought it up, so you
feel like they have to sell.
Because you think that, like that's-
Well, I mean, there's tax issues.
But I mean, like-
I'm assuming.
But that's also the discussion with, like, that family is,
like, hey, they do have a new coaching staff.
They have Caleb Williams.
They're exciting.
But like, this family ultimately has just continually
fucked it up for the last, you know, 50 years.
Why do you have to hurt somebody like that?
I'm just saying.
Why do you have to go there?
Do you really have to go there?
I'm a Packers fan too.
He enjoys all of it that it happens,
but you're thinking there's a chance
that they're gonna have to sell.
I mean, there is a tax issue,
unless they've covered it in a state plan.
So you're projecting 8 to 10 billion,
and that would be something you could figure out?
I don't know if I could figure out,
but that's a hell of a team.
Hell of a city.
Hey, we'd love a percentage.
Yeah, that'd be awesome.
We would love a percentage.
We're so good about the Bears always.
That'd be so good.
Yeah, we...
Caleb?
Love the Bears.
The best.
Oh, he's the guy.
Bear Dunn.
As are you.
You're the man.
Thanks, guys. Thank you. Appreciate it. You're the man, yo.
Hey, it's wonderful and we're celebrating it.
The boys are here.
The Talks at the Table at Boston Corner and at Ty Schmidt.
One half of the Hammer.
Dad!
Cowboys AP Tone.
Darius J. Butler, you're looking very cool.
How'd the casino go?
You know what?
Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Got my ass kicked in the quickest fashion I think ever. I don't think I ever gamble in this city again.
They've been taking a lot of money from a lot of us. Damn shame. Yeah. Yeah. I see I see
Tyronnesia yesterday, okay? Yep. Wasn't her fault.
Yeah, well, it's T-A-R-O-N-I-S-I-A.
Okay.
So I said, Taranisha.
Mm-hmm.
Thought I nailed it.
Wrong.
Love names.
Said it 10 times, and she said,
it's Ty-ra-nisha.
Ah.
And I said, that's all me.
Mm-hmm.
100%.
I need a little bit more accent, I think, down here.
Because the way they speak here is wonderful.
Love it.
It is fantastic. Just hearing it makes you feel good, the way they speak here is wonderful. Love it. It is fantastic.
Just here to make you feel good the way the conversation goes about it.
But that casino has been rude.
It has been greedy.
It has been doing shit you're not supposed to do one after another.
You'll tell a story one time about a seven card 21 the dealer got me.
That's happening on a regular basis at these same ways.
Speaking of shit you're not supposed to do.
Yeah, there's a reason. on a regular basis at these tables. Speaking of shit you're not supposed to do. You guys, you guys undersold Bill on the Blackjack table.
Yeah, Bill, Bill's a little,
he's an independent thinker on that Blackjack table.
He's a fool.
I now understand why Chuck wanted to kill him last year.
Yeah, he's unpredictable out there.
You know, a lot of part of Blackjack,
there's like a book.
Sure.
And the book was created because like, hey, this is the smartest way to go about doing this. Pretty easy game
too, pretty cut and dry. No doubt. This is kind of the smart, here's the smart move.
Now you can, you can venture off the trail a little bit depending upon how you feel.
You know if you have a pretty good read on maybe what cards are left which not saying
you count cards but there's a lot of faces coming early you got to think to yourself late what's coming is it
gonna be a bus card or is it gonna be a small card so you can say you can kind of
feel you're gonna feel you can start kind of feeling things a little bit but
you're trying to stay on like a hey yeah this is how the game is played uh-huh
path for the good of everybody right yep yeah build on things like that
Bill's like hey listen this book bullshit these rules I don't think like that. Bill's like, hey, listen, this book, bullshit.
These rules, I don't like them.
He didn't want to even hit on a single digit.
He had eight.
And he stayed?
Like just a regular eight.
Like, I'm gonna stay.
Yep.
He thinks like a serial killer, guys.
I'm gonna stay.
Didn't want to bust.
Now, we try to tell him that any card could come.
And he would still be in the hand.
Sure.
Which we liked that he was trying to stay in the hand.
You know, because every once in a while,
there'll be a bust card out there, a four or five or six.
And Bailey's like, you know what, I'm at 15.
Let me go ahead and let me.
Yeah, big classic.
That happened too.
Come on, let me get one.
Don't need to be doing that.
Their hand's probably going to bust, Bill.
This isn't about beating their number.
It's about beating them every single time.
And if they're going to bust, let them.
We just stay alive
Bill, okay. Okay, you got it
Four comes around
Bill this is when we want to eat here. Yep. This is when you want to really do it
Boss they'll bust out. Okay as he showed bus out dealer heads 21 the man stayed on an eight. I
Almost flipped the table.
You dig it up and leave.
But I would like to let the world know that those cards could have went our way still
with Bill messing up.
Sure.
But they definitely didn't know.
And we lost every day.
It was unbelievable.
Truly what these casinos have done for us.
But I say the times have been magical.
The boys have enjoyed it.
AJ Hawk.
Obviously you won a Super Bowl.
We've covered a bunch of Super Bowls. What are your thoughts on New Orleans thus far as the host?
New Orleans is pretty sweet. I mean, obviously it's a little unique, a little different than
what Phoenix, Las Vegas, we've been the last few years, but New Orleans has its own feel.
Like we were walking to dinner was pretty cool last night. We walked across, like I
think you've mentioned, it was like a movie set, a couple of different quarters, I think
different areas, like all the cool buildings like New Orleans is cool
Like it has its own identity. I enjoy I don't know how yeah
I mean it would be much different living here as opposed to coming here for three four or five days, but it's it's cool
Man, I like I like the vibe. It's a host city. Yes, that is definitely what it is
They want you to come and have a good time
Yeah, I was trying to ask people where we were because there was even like a Tostitos
Chippin sip. Yeah, like little Super Bowl party party. Yeah.
Snack town outside, which in the middle of like the French
quarters area, I guess is where we were, which is a movie.
Normally in most cities, those are terrible. Yes.
Normally there's nobody at these things because it's like, I'm
not going to a commercial right now. Sure. Last night band was
playing packed out, packed out, filled up.
There was, I think Reggie Bush was doing a meet and greet somewhere.
Saw Howie.
Howie, saw Howie Rosen walking up.
I mean, it was just like, see, it was alive.
It felt good last night.
Then we went in at Casina.
Yeah.
And they said, you had fun, didn't you?
Yeah.
That's going to cost you.
All of it.
Son of a bitch.
There's raking the chips.
And what I think I've learned thus far is when you go in your pocket and you get that next
round of money, that always works. Yeah, every time, usually. There's raking the chips and what I think I've learned thus far is when you go to your pocket and get that next round
Of money that always works. Yeah every time usually I believe you said that is those exact words to me last night
Yeah, you always get back like that's why people do that like hey, you know what?
You have more and you dump it out. It's always works
You're gonna get back, you know, that doesn't just disappear quicker normal because you're in the middle of a spiral
So now you're making even more ridiculous decisions and that's when they got you
You know when they got you in the middle of that blizzard
of L's, it's tough to keep up.
Got to know where to start.
Like, once you start doing shit, you had no game plan to do.
Like, oh, you know what?
I'll just do a cash event.
So you know what?
Hey, AQ, can you just Venmo me?
Or I'll Venmo you something.
Well, we should have.
We didn't know AQ was a professional blackjack player.
He knows.
Yeah, he went to MIT.
He went to MIT.
He knows exactly how to beat the game.
And Oboe's bottom.
This guy.
That all depends on the shoe.
Because boy, when you're-
He had it figured out.
Yeah, he did.
He had it figured out.
This guy went to MIT.
Yeah, he did.
And when it's going good in the double deck, it goes good.
When it goes bad, it goes bad real quick.
Real quick.
I put the profits away.
And before long, I was pulling those profits out.
Bad move. Bad move. Yeah, I'm sure. Real quick. I put the profits away and before long I was pulling this problem
Yeah, I'm sure the the double deck was really a big brain creation from you
better odds Yeah, I'll be able to count these cards got eight aces
Got 32 tens. This is easy. This is no problem. I got two decks. I won't go one on one
He watched that 21 movie.
He had it.
He's doing hand signals.
Oh yeah.
Whole thing.
Magazine, magazine.
Dude lost 800 bucks in forehand.
He thought the numbers were right.
Couldn't get to the ATM quick enough.
Yeah.
It's hard.
It's a hard game.
That's why like Dana, how he wins
and like he gets kicked out of places is like that dude
actually has to count these cards.
Yeah.
And like if you are counting the cards, I don't know how you do it
There's so many things you're gonna keep track of. Yeah, I I I have i've not figured out blackjack yet
That one is a day to leave dana says he's like I live in vegas
I'm not just popping by if I if I get up 800k
I get up and leave and I get out of there instead of staying and giving it all back
They want you to stay and I wonder if that's why all the casinos kick them out probably. Oh, that's okay
Yeah, just come by once a night.
Yeah.
I don't think so, pal.
The positive 750.
Yeah, it is such a good game, though.
Like, when the vibes are high, we had probably one good deck
at our table.
And when, like, everyone's celebrating,
everyone's winning, we went in with a plan like, hey,
we're sitting on 16.
We're not hitting.
And when those kind of work out, it was a good plan.
It worked for a whole shoe.
It worked for an
entire deck. It was incredible. There's like going to play like assholes. It's got to be
consistent. I mean, this is, yeah, exactly. It's the consistency. And when you get, you
know, someone who's hitting when the dealer show and four and they have a 15 or a 16 that
that's when it becomes, Hey, what's this asshole doing? But if we're in it together as a team,
then at least we're all assholes.
And staying on 16, whenever a dealer potentially
has a made hand already is just as bad as taking a card.
You know, that you can potentially bust against a bus
card because you don't even have a qualifying hand yet.
You know, which I understand if we're staying on 16,
we're all doing it.
But I want to let you know, if I'm just sitting next
to somebody that's just staying on 16,
whenever there is a nine, 10 face out in front of me
I'm gonna have a tough time that did happen with a couple 12 13th
There's no doubt that that number did drop a couple times and that did end up screwing us
But because you know, we all know each other we're all hanging out
It's not bill, you know that kind of helps good times at the table such good time
It is for a little bit for a little bit, you know
kind of helps. Good times at the table. Such good times. It is for a little bit, for a little bit, you know.
Then you know you get your teeth kicked and I think that's the biggest problem is last time we were here everyone won and that's just all we were saying coming in the entire week is winning casino.
Got to win. This gives you money. This is a giving casino if you guys do recall. So you know you lose the first night.
Hey but remember guys this is a this is a giving casino. It's going to give it back to you.
It doesn't, inevitably.
Should have known right away. Walk down.
Boom, that's not a Harris. That's a Caesars.
I mean, it just...
Different casino.
Yeah, different casino.
Different vibes, different winners, different losers.
Was that the craps table? That one? Great.
Sure.
Four minutes.
All the chips gone.
No, it didn't.
It was quick.
Took longer for me to get all my chips onto my bets
than for me to roll a seven after getting a point. I mean just
Eliminated so much money. Yeah, just so quickly one round. I'm like, you know what? This is good
I'll go back to blackjack killed again boom, and I'm whatever rule at good time
Oh, okay good time on a rule
What not as good as a guy next to me guy was waiting on a black 11 ahead and he was just stacking it every single
Time I guess it came inevitably he won all of his money that is that that had to feel good whenever he hit like that
Yeah weapon casino has been great. New Orleans has been fantastic for one man. Josh Allen came down here this week and
Wasn't an MVP and now he'll be leaving New Orleans as the most valuable player in the NFL. Congratulations, Josh
leaving New Orleans as the most valuable player in the NFL. Congratulations, Josh.
Hell yeah, Josh.
Thanks, Josh.
Now, there's a lot of conversation, obviously,
because Lamar Jackson was first team All-Pro quarterback.
So everybody assumed, I think, since 1987,
basically, in this particular situation,
anybody that's been voted first team All-Pro
or something like that wins the MVP.
John Elway, I think.
I was reading the stat.
I think John Elway was the last time, yeah, that had happened
or whatever, that TV's so far away,
there's no way I could read that,
but I do appreciate you making me smarter, Foxy.
Elway MVP, Montana first team all-pro.
And that was 1987, yes.
Yeah, and I think it did happen again with Peyton and McNair.
Okay, so this has happened in the past,
mostly because they're saying that it's a statistical award
being first team all-pro, where the MVP is
value of player to team.
And I think that was Dan Orlovsky's argument this morning.
It was also the conversation all year
with the guy who has the AP vote for our particular program,
which people in the AP were not happy about us getting a vote.
No, they were not.
But now the whole world basically
knows who all has votes.
Fascinating.
I wonder if there was an uproar amongst other decisions that were made. But you guys were voting for
Most Valuable Player. We saw your entry form and you had Josh Allen as MVP. Why was that
the case and how do you think the awards went last night?
Yeah, I mean, I think I was shocked that Josh Allen won the MVP, even though I voted for him as MVP because of how the AP went.
I also had Josh Allen as my first team quarterback in the All-Pro, so I was not one of the voters that decided to put Lamar as first team All-Pro and then vote for Josh as MVP.
You know, it's not a statistical award. The MVP is not. We learned that last year when Dak had the best statistics in
the league for quarterback and Lamar won because Lamar was
Lamar season last year was the most valuable season, even
though his statistics were not the best.
And then I thought this year is my first year voting.
You know, we had a lot of talk at the beginning of season that
the Bills window was closed.
They were done.
They lost.
They lost their receivers. They lost their their safeties. They lost other guys off the defense. The window was closed for the Bills window was closed. They were done. They lost their receivers.
They lost their safeties.
They lost other guys off the defense.
The window was closed for the Bills, and they didn't have a chance.
And then Josh put the team on his back.
Khalil Shakir was their number one receiver.
And coming into the season, people are like,
you can't win with that as your number one receiver.
And I thought Josh just did so much to carry the team.
Not that Lamar didn't.
I had Lamar as my offensive player of the year because the year he had was historic as well.
So I didn't want Lamar to be left out completely
because of the season he had was unbelievable.
But I just thought Josh did more with less.
Josh had 40 total touchdowns.
Lamar had 45.
So I mean, yes, statistically Lamar was a little bit better.
But I just thought Josh did more with less.
I thought he was the more valuable player in my eyes.
OK, I think that's an OK vote.
Yeah.
I think that's an OK vote.
If we look at your ballot, you actually, I think,
had it exactly how it ended up tallying up for the scores.
Because you get a certain amount of points for first place
votes, a certain amount of points for those other votes.
And how everybody had it was either Lamar or Josh,
Lamar or Josh.
Except for?
Lamar or Josh. Yeah. Of course. Who? I can't remember the guy's name, but was either Lamar or Josh, Lamar or Josh. Except for Lamar or Josh. Yeah, well of course.
I can't remember the guy's name, but he had Lamar fourth in MVP voting.
I don't know who the guy is. I can't remember off the top of my head.
Miller?
Yeah, something Miller. That's probably, I don't understand how that happens.
Take his vote. Yeah, absolutely foolish.
I mean, in the Hall of Fame too, it's not even getting into that,
but like I think it's just a good sign how good ball is right now.
Like Jamar Chase, no one's talking about him. He had one of the best seasons ever for a wide receiver
and he won the triple crown. It's like some people just had better years and I feel like
it's a great that we get a Lamar into Josh in the same, you know, decade era of the NFL.
Yeah, I, uh, I thought Lamar was going to win it. I was watching the show live, very
surprised. Now a lot of show live, very surprised.
Now, a lot of things happened during that show.
Sure.
You bet.
A lot of things happened in that show.
Jelly Roll.
Jelly Roll and Snoop.
Is he signing a new deal yet?
Yeah.
3Tech, I think they're going to get him.
Hey, Jelly Roll is losing weight.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, Jelly, we're happy for you, man.
And also Jelly getting in full uniform on stage
Yeah, we unbelievable he had to be laughing so hard at all that
Yeah, walk down with the helmet on took that thing off clean too. Yeah, I think off clean
Julian soup stoop taking a shot
Just stating a fact I think yeah about coach Belichick's. Yeah. Yeah plus one
Is a lady friend? Mm-hmm. She had a soup ball ring on she had a bunch's. Yeah. Yeah plus one her by his lady friend. Mm-hmm
She had a Super Bowl ring on she had a bunch to yes. He did a lot of super minor people
How about him going out there and just doing his thing? How about Kevin O'Connell when he coach of the year? Yeah
Pretty crazy to get this receive this award from
You know the guy who drafted me and then also the greatest of all times Kevin O''Connell, give a shout out to Bill Belchick who's up there.
So congrats to KOC.
Great jawline.
Great work as a coach.
You saw that video of him chewing out his team or heard that video of him chewing out
his team.
I like that.
I like the way Justin Jefferson is able to work his ass off for whoever.
He's their superstar wide receiver.
He'll block, he'll get after it.
He'll have 180 yards.
Who's the quarterback gonna be, doesn't matter?
I don't think so.
I mean, that's the, that's the real question at this point.
Isn't that crazy, that's probably why
he won Coach of the Year.
Great coaching.
That's legitimately why he's probably Coach of the Year.
That was probably the thing whenever the Hump,
whenever they were talking about it, they're going,
so anybody can be this guy's quarterback?
Is that how this works?
And it's like, yeah, I think so,
well, that's gotta be the guy.
That was another category, I remember your watch list had what like eight nine guys
Started with 32 got down to one
So yeah, he definitely earned it with the resurgence that Sam Donnell had the year that they had
You know 14 wins and then going into I think first team in a wild card team with 14 wins
But yeah, Kevin O'Connell was definitely much much deserving deserved. Okay we'll continue the awards conversation in a matter of
moments ladies and gentlemen there is a governor standing outside. The governor of this
here state of Louisiana ladies and gentlemen Jeff Landry. Thank you Pat I
want to come here I think you should set your headquarters like right here Right here, full time.
Oh, they would love you. I'm telling you this city is like built for you.
Hey governor, I'll tell you what we've been feeling that way. We walked through the French Quarter last night
We had dinner at Doris Metropolitan. Yeah, and then we walked back in the casinos been beating us governor
I will say that it's important.
We gotta get our revenue. We gotta get our revenue.
Okay Governor, I will say that... Well, we got to get our revenue. We got to get our revenue. Okay, tell me about the state and why it's such a good hosting place. And what is New Orleans going to show the world here this weekend?
Well, look, first of all, I want to thank you all for giving me just a little time to
have some entertainment.
I don't get to just listen.
I just enjoyed it.
I did not get to do what many fans get to do and just sit here and watch a show like
I would love to because we got so many things. So thank you all for
entertaining me for a little while my wife will absolutely love that look I can tell you what we have worked on was to make sure that
the city
Was ready to welcome the world because quite frankly when you have a Super Bowl you welcome the world
It is a it is a greatest show on earth
It is the most watched show. It
is where everybody comes to be entertained. And this is the greatest city to be able to
do that. And of course, we started last year. I mean, you got to think about it. We started
working towards making sure that we were going to put on an unbelievable event. And then
we had the tragedy, right? That happened on New Year's morning. I mean, it's unbelievable.
It just shook the city. But I think that I don't think that there is a city, Pat, I'll tell you this, I don't think that there is a city
that is capable of being able to lift those up,
lift the victims and their families
and those that were injured,
and then at the same time, send a message that guess what?
This is a city of entertainment
and this is what America's about,
and that's what we said we were gonna do
and that's what we're doing.
Yeah, you take a swing, but we're gonna fight back.
That's right. Oh, yeah.
You knock us down, and we're coming right back up.
Yes. And that's the story of New Orleans.
I think we've been hearing from a lot of people is,
and that's the feeling we had.
Drew Brees talked to us yesterday about how,
because of everything that happens here,
there's like a real gratitude of life.
There's like a real appreciation of life.
And you can feel that from the people.
I agree. Yeah. Security included. I mean we've got
chance to meet a lot of your state troopers and they look really cool.
They look great. I don't know if they're on camera or not. The blues are a great group.
But even walking through the city, the people working at the restaurants, it's
like there's just a vibe amongst the people here. And I got to experience it
at LSU. Yes. Yeah. When we came down for college game day. Oh, we love y'all. The vibe was insane. It's just like a Louisiana feel.
Well, we love people. We love people. Look, hospitality may have been invented in the South,
but I say it was perfected in Louisiana. Like we love y'all. We really do. We just love people.
We love to watch people have a good time. We like you to leave the restaurants where you're feeling
so bad. I gotta walk three or four more blocks. Yeah. If you're leaving, your
pants still fit, you know, the waist. That means we did a bad job.
It felt like that last night. Yeah, it felt like that last night. AJ has a question for
you, Governor. Governor, when you talk to other governors, you ever ask them, hey, when
you guys get in office, why do you turn into robots that are not relatable? You're like
such a relatable, good human, which it's got to be very difficult in your position, but why
is it where some people get that in that spot and it's almost like, hey, I don't
understand who this is anymore? I don't know, I just think for a long time people
just, you know, you get into the office and you let the office become you and
you forget that you got into the office because there are people out there that
put you in that office and if you stay with the people who put you in the
office and you just be a regular, be who you are, right? if you're good enough to be able to get 51 percent of the people
to be able to vote for you then you should stay that way and that's how I am you know
I just grew up just a little country boy in a great state that really has great things
to offer and so again I don't know I just.
The way we learned of you.
Yeah.
You wanted that tiger on the sideline. you. Yeah, I was you wanted that tiger
Surprise just stay tuned we're gonna make colleges
We talk about that tiger because there was full conversation that was happening about like
Should we talk about it? Cuz there's people that aren't happy about it
But then there was people that were very talk about it? Cause there's people that aren't happy about it. But then there was people that were very pumped about it.
And then obviously all roads were leading back to you.
That was, they were like,
governor Jeff Lange is going to have a tiger
on that sideline.
That's how this is going to go.
Why was that so important to you?
And what do you think kind of about how it all went down?
Well, look, I'll tell you this, you know,
you talk about governors, there's a great governor,
great governor, Jim Pillar from Nebraska.
He played football for Nebraska.
He was a defensive back in the late 70s, early 80s.
And about four months before, five months before, we were talking about putting the
tag on, I ran into Jim.
And he's telling me, he says, you know, all the years I played in Nebraska, he said my
most memorable game was as a freshman going
down to Tiger Stadium.
He said they would park the cat outside of the visitors locker room.
He said, I know they'd poke that animal, it'd be growling.
It's the most intimidating thing.
He's telling us that.
I mean, it went on.
I was a child back then, right?
I mean, Nebraska.
You remember Nebraska?
Oh yeah.
Are you kidding me? Maybe not you. remember Nebraska? Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
Are you kidding me?
Maybe not you, you weren't born yet.
I remember, I'm black sheep.
I'm black sheep.
All right, we know, we know.
But so Jim's telling me this, and he's like,
it's the most unbelievable thing.
He said, and as a child, I remember,
you put the cheerleaders on top of the cage,
and they'd roll the tiger around the stadium,
everybody would go wonderful.
I mean, it just became like his family event.
And in some kind of way,
we felt like we couldn't do that anymore.
And I mean, it's just ridiculous.
And so I said, you know what?
We're gonna bring that back.
And so, you know, Alabama has got just a terrible,
we don't have a good record against Alabama
in Tiger Stadium.
I think they're like 22 and 4 against LSU and Death Valley,
but I'm 1 and 0 against PETA and so I'll take that.
Yes, yes, yes. They weren't coming after you. And there's zoos that have Tigers and I see the,
the sanctuary, the sanctuary that's down there for the tiger.
Five million dollars.
Five million.
Yeah, that's what he's saying.
We're taking care of this tiger.
We are.
Look, I tell you this.
We brought this tiger in.
This lady, this lady, we got this tiger in.
She would get in the cage.
This cat was like, it was like a big house cat to her.
And then, you know, I'm all nervous.
We got all the pressure y'all put on me.
We get the tiger into the stadium.
We were never.
I was doing journalism.
We get the tiger into the stadium,
and he's just laying there.
And I said, they're going to think I drugged that cat,
which is completely against the law.
We never do.
Of course, of course.
That tiger, he loved being there.
You know what the problem was?
They didn't leave him there long enough.
That was my opinion.
Agreed.
I think you should have left him there long.
He was having such a great time.
We wanted to beg him to get up, you know?
Okay, so we're saying, what it sounds like is
that Tiger's probably coming back to the sideline.
I'm just saying, I think a lot of people out there
that realize that it's really not a big thing
and that everybody likes to get out.
I mean, how would you like me to just keep you
in your house and never let you out?
I wouldn't like that.
Me neither.
That sucks. I'm just not built for that.
You know?
So yeah, look.
And Colorado has a buffalo, longhorns.
I mean, yeah.
We just got the tigers.
You're taking care of the tigers.
That sanctuary that you guys have for that tiger down there.
Great.
Beautiful.
So nice.
Air conditioning.
Had a little snow this year.
Hey, what's up?
Snow.
Oh, the tiger had such a great time.
Mike had a great time in the snow.
Mike. Mike did have a great time. Mike had a great time in the snow.
Mike. Mike did have a great time.
It snowed, he was back out. He was like, great. I don't know.
Yeah. Tony has a question for you, Governor.
Yeah, Governor, we've been searching all week. Where's the best place to get some gator?
Yeah, we're not gator. We're not gator.
Yeah, we need some gator.
Well, I mean, be honest with you. I'm going to get myself an alco... I'm the best place to get gator.
Okay. Yes. I'm gonna get myself an oka. I'm the best place to get gator
You should have brought a gator
You send me I'm gonna take care of you
How do we eat gator if we're the guy right is it like a po boy gator one bite at a time How do we have it any kind of way fried fried grilled yeah great grilled gator we had octopus yesterday
Gator hunting with me. That's what you're we heard about yesterday. We heard about it yesterday
Yeah, but gator is great. We'll get y'all something. Thank you. Yeah, Darius has a question for you
Which way are you leaning in this game right now?
I know your saints aren't anymore which way but which way are you leaning right now?
Chiefs, Eagles, all of us kind of been going back and forth.
They look like they kind of picked the side already, but which way are you leaning right
now?
I'm actually watching y'all.
There's three of y'all right here.
When we get to the critical mass, I don't know.
It's really interesting.
That's part of me that's like, you'd love to see somebody be able to do it three times
in a row, right?
You know, because that's what records are meant to do.
You hold a record and you want somebody to break it.
And of course, you know, you got the Philly story.
So I don't know. I'm not there yet.
I tell you, you check back with me Sunday morning.
Sunday morning.
Where are you watching the game from?
From the box. I got a ticket.
You're the governor of the state.
Yeah, yeah.
I made my wife too and she was kind enough to want to take me. Okay, I like that. I appreciate it. I got a ticket. You're the governor of the state. Governor Jeff Landry.
And she was kind enough to want to take me.
Okay, I like that.
We're going to be there when the big guys come in.
Oh yeah, the president's coming.
You know what's crazy?
This is the first time that a sitting president has been to a Super Bowl.
I was like, there's no way.
That was shocking.
And I know I've seen presidents flip the coin. I guess it's when they leave first time first time
Yeah, I didn't expect to read that either. Yeah, that changes security plans, right?
But we already were safe. We're good. We just put him right in
Alabama when he went to Alabama, yeah, I got a chance to like kind of hear about the setup
It's like because of what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, right? even it's oh yeah no no and once again New Orleans is the
right place to be we here we thank y'all so much really do Pat thank y'all for
being here thank y'all for loving the city and can't wait for a great game
can we loosen it up a little bit to casino please give them a call the boys
we appreciate you ladies and gentlemen the governor of Louisiana Jeff
Landry. What a rocket ship. You know the best place to get gator now.
I gotta get you go gator hunting. Listen a lot of people knew it wasn't that bad for the time.
Mike loved it. He loved it. Mike loves the snow loves snow Told the story Nebraska guy told him it they definitely were prod. Yeah, they prod him. You'll piss him off make it
I don't know
You obviously didn't watch what about you three what about you? I don't know. That's a good question. You obviously didn't watch the broadcast.
What about you three?
I don't know. Was that the critical mass?
I don't know. That was awesome.
Can't wait to get some data.
I had no idea what that was going to be about.
I had no clue.
We should have dinner with Governor Jeff Landry.
Need a weekly spot.
Governor Jeff Landry, his name was just being echoed everywhere. I was walking down
there at dinner. Governor Jeff Landry wants that tiger. Talked about him for an hour.
He was not there. Then we go to like where the production room is in a building and there's
people like Governor Jeff Landry better not put that tiger. Like there's, there's people
that were very counter this entire thing because they thought it was gonna blow up So literally my entire stay at LSU was people talking about Governor Geflandri
I see why telling stories about whatever they met him whenever he was a kid and where he's from and how he does this and
How he's been in office few times. It's like this guy. He's got the world talking right now
There's record shows up right here and just get on the feeder brother
Yeah on the feeder brother famous got a good record in LSU, but I'm one of no guess Peter. Yeah. Hey, that's another big time
So because of how?
Cuz of how?
Scary Death Valley is sir, which in theory should be yeah, like his defense too is there's no offense for that
How'd you like it if I locked you up all day in your house?
And I thought about my four cats immediately like hold on. I'm kind of giving a life
Four felines in my house, buddy, but uh
Yeah, I guess he was gonna get that tiger on that sideline
He did it sounds like it's gonna happen again. Mm-hmm as it should governor
Jeff Landry is just doing his thing and you asked some question. How is he not change at all?
I don't know if he can't he can't let I mean, that's. I don't think Jeff Landrieu can. OK.
Allegedly, multiple Eagles players are battling a flu.
You guys hearing this?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I saw that.
A little bit of a sickness now.
If it is the same flu that I saw my wife have right before I
came down here to Super Bowl, buddy, this is a violent one.
It is a, I think it's a pretty quick.
I think it is a wave, but I think it is a very yeah quick. I think it's a a wave
But I think it is a very serious a lot of puking sure
They're saying this a little work of voodoo
So I was asked about that last night on Street. We're walking through a street. You remember that it was yeah different
I popped out of nowhere. I was just stopped. I think was out kick. It was I don't know who was but it was out kick
It was a lady. Uh-huh. She asked me do you have a second like literally on the side of the street? So quick boom
Mike friend just got a great dinner. Great. So good. It was a great dinner. It was top to bottom
It really was. Oh, yeah, great old fashion everything about it was great presentation good food. Good timing
Yeah steak was on fire had to get it
The steak was on fire and fire and fire on all the steaks right in front of our faces So coming out of a great time. Boom. How to get in. The state was on fire. They had fire. They had fire on all the states right in front of our faces. So coming out of a great the boom how
you feeling? Can we ask you a question? Sure. I mean you're recording right now so.
Two questions. We should definitely do that. Yes and then I was appreciative for the
opportunity. She immediately brought up like voodoo happening. Witchcraft. Yeah
that's I mean that's New Orleans. Te Voodoo. And that. I
hadn't even thought of it. I hadn't even I didn't even thought of that maybe. Maybe.
Maybe. Maybe and then I heard Travis Kelsey the other day say that whenever
Taylor did a show at in Kansas City she did some football throw in the middle
of it and then she counted the three so it's like the is the Te Voodoo. Oh is
that part of the three Pete as well?
That would be kind of like the witches coven.
And then you listen what the internet's saying
about the Voodoo that's already happening.
Yeah.
You have to wonder, are your Eagles bets safe?
There's something afoot.
Yeah, is there something working?
What if the Eagles win?
Then people would say that they weren't,
the refs weren't on their side all game, all season.
They'll say Coop hit them with kind of a curveball wizard's
magic to counter the witch.
Exactly.
Bradley Cooper's handsomeness because he is a celebrity fan for the Philadelphia.
Maybe sacrifices Philly cheesesteak.
Oh, they got Danny and Coops.
From Danny and Coops.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, joining us.
We thought we were going to get a chance to talk to him a little bit earlier but obviously he is
the talk of any time that he is
in because the way he talks it
lights up any time that he is in
ladies and gentlemen quarterback
for the Brines and the Saints
and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and
Florida State ladies German James Ladies and gentlemen, James Winslet. Yeah! James! James! Great boots.
Great fit.
Great fit.
New boot goofing!
You got some snake skin!
Yeah!
That snake died in its sleep.
Lived a long life.
Died in its sleep.
These are not snakes.
Snake skin, these are ostrich.
Oh, okay!
From the nice leather of their long necks.
Sure.
And they're pretty big.
They're pretty big.
They're pretty big.
They're pretty big.
They're pretty big. They're pretty big. They're pretty big. They're prettykin. These are ostrich.
Oh, okay.
Nice leather of their long necks.
Sure.
I don't think so.
Looks like snake to me.
I think these are ostrich.
I can see the ostrich pattern.
Kind of looks like a gator.
Could be gator.
Ostriches have different complexions, right? Maybe some kind of looks like a gator almost could be gay. Ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, ox, listen, I am happy that I, we need to get a pair. Those are amazing, as do you.
How are you doing, man?
Let me let you know, from media night,
through all of the content that you've been creating
down here, absolutely crushing it.
Thank you.
You enjoying the hell out of me?
I enjoy the responses that I got from you.
Like, cause when I watch your show,
I know that you're speaking real stuff,
and I admire everybody that you bring with you.
And you told me one thing, you're like, like get away from the fluff don't ask any of the
questions that other people tell me to ask. Bingo! You need to be who you are. Yes!
And I took that same work to NFL honors you know but trying to fit in this
space man is very challenging because like people say keep saying like you on
the dark side and not like I'm not on the dark side, and I'm like, no, I'm not on the dark side. Like I'm in a space where I want to be able to elevate
the athlete.
Yeah, but your response to that dark side thing was.
Yep.
Yeah.
It went over his head, right?
Yeah, but that's gonna happen, James.
We don't know about that life there.
That's going to happen.
That's going to happen.
Hey, that's gonna happen.
You need to just keep moving with that.
For sure.
Come on.
You are a, hey, you are great and meant to be on a microphone.
Oh yeah.
So don't listen listen any of these people
No, thank you, but no one is on your level pet and I gotta give you your flowers man
When I saw you doing the side when I saw y'all doing the national championship from the back of the end zone
Like I have I have trouble even watching the end zone view on film and y'all are calling the game man and your energy your enthusiasm
Come on, come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. I'm believing enough about that
We are very lucky and thankful
that you're gonna get into the content world,
sports world is very lucky for that.
Now, with that being said,
you obviously know that you're near that at some point.
Like, what are you, is this preparing for future
while still?
I don't have a contingency plan, brother.
My focus is on being the best quarterback
that I still can be.
That's what I'm still preparing for.
I'm just allowing myself to venture off
and accept other roles to learn and see what I
like it.
What you have to do.
I think that's a very smart move.
And also being fully focused on football, where's the mindset at right now?
My mindset right now is on my preparation, on eliminating all negative plays and focusing
on how can I play consistent winning football.
So has God blessed you with throwing less pick sixes?
So the Lord has definitely delivered me from pick sixes because I didn you with throwing less pick sixes? So the Lord has
definitely delivered me from pick sixes because I didn't throw any more picks. Now I threw
a few picks but I should have been more specific in my prayer. Yeah, lock it in. Every prayer
can get better, you know what I mean? Every single one. AJ has a question for you. That's
why you pray every day. Absolutely. Absolutely. James, first off.
Let's pray right now, actually, James.
Can you read the prayer for us?
Yeah, I can.
Heavenly Father, we do not want to joke about you at all, Lord.
We are so honored and grateful that we are able to be among each other, Lord.
You have given us this moment now, and this is all that we have.
Help us please to advance your kingdom as we move forward, Lord.
I just pray for Pat and his team, Lord, that they just continue to give people the word of true sports, of experiences
of a lifetime, Lord.
But through that, Lord, they can find you in everything that
they do, Lord.
Bless us with a great voice, Lord.
Lead us to the promised land, Lord.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Amen.
Thank you, James.
Thank you, James.
That was awesome.
AJ has a question for you, Coach Perr.
Obviously, I'm sure everybody's been asking about this game.
If the Eagles win this game, how do they win Obviously I'm sure everybody's been asking about this game.
If the Eagles win this game, how do they win the game?
And what do you have you made predictions?
What's your thoughts?
So everyone asked me for a prediction.
I just say like it's about the trenches and I'm in the best of both worlds because I love
and respect both quarterbacks.
But I know it's about what's going to happen on in the inside.
I know one matchup that everyone's going to be watching is Jayalen Carter and Trace Smith, right?
Because Jalen only plays to the right side.
So he's gonna have help from, Trace is gonna have help
from Creed, so they have to dominate this.
But what the Eagles have to prepare for is the matchups
that they're gonna create with number 95,
because Chris Jones plays all over the front line.
And I know Spags does an excellent job of stopping the run,
but his main focus is stop Saquon and make Jalen Hurts carry the football. If Jalen
Hurts has to have over 20 carries this game I think Kansas City will pull off.
If Jalen Hurts in their RPO game is able to suck Spagnoli's defense in but
would force them to give and have different things off that so they can
attack the perimeter because I think the Eagles have really worn on the
perimeter opposed to just running straight up the middle even
when you see Saquon's long run he's making a cut and he's bouncing out to
the outside and getting vertical after that so if they if the Eagles can win
vertical they'll win a game if Kansas City can stop the Eagles from vertical
I'm not even gonna go there from vertically penetrating them
penetrating them in the running game. Sucking out there vertically penetrating them.
In the running game.
Shuck them off and penetrate.
It's the best both words for me. I love both of these quarterbacks.
I love both of these head coaches. I love both of these teams.
I think Vic Vangelo's defense is very simple.
They're going to populate people around everybody because they play mass zone coverage.
I think that's tough for Kelsey who has an amazing ability to get open.
But one thing about his defense, bunches and stacks expose them
because they make a sky call
when defenders are just going to zone spacing.
And that allows Travis Kelsey just to get open.
To work underneath. Yes.
Okay, so whenever they talk about spags,
they say he brings it a lot. He does.
Is there blitzes now?
How many years have you been in the league?
I've been in the league 10 years.
Okay, that's a long-ass time.
Congratulations. Thank you.
Not easy at all.
Okay, the amount of blitzes. Congratulations. Thank you. Not easy at all.
Okay, the amount of blitzes.
What is the hardest thing to, is it the disguises?
Is it picking, guessing?
Can you normally figure out a blitz?
What is the thought of a quarterback whenever a blitz is out?
One of the top things in the quarterback is like, what is my protection area that is like
at stake?
And when you have a protection problem, you have to start with who is their most dominant
defensive lineman.
And for Kansas City, it's Chris Jones.
But you can't base your protection just on him because he moves all over the field.
And we had a study with Cleveland Browns,
like typically Kansas City is bringing 90% of their pressures away from Chris Jones
because they want to show you Chris Jones being on this side.
They want to bring the pressure opposite.
Once we played them, obviously, defense, they do self-scout as well.
They brought all their pressures to Chris Jones' side. So yes, it is deceptiveness. It is the disguise,
but it's the way that his safeties work. Josh Cook and, is it Eric, not Eric Reed, Justin
Reed, they work so well together. They're not as great as ball hawking safeties, but
they do a good job of getting their depth and playing downhill to help their corners out and they got one corner that's a
solid corner is one of the top corners is Lee and Trent Matt Duffy so their
zone pressures when they are in man he typically lost somebody up so I'm gonna
be curious to see the one-on-one matchup between him and AJ Brown and
Davonta Smith. DeBuch has a question for you. I mean, outstanding, phenomenal answers for us.
Hey, that's really good football.
Hey guys, that's really good football. That's a prayer's answer right there. Outstanding phenomenal answers. Yes
That's a prayers answer right there
But you talked about you know been in the league ten years You also said earlier in the conversation about excepted different roles
You've been in so many different positions been a number one pick
You know having the keys handed to you for the benefit of the franchise and then at some point your career being backup quarterback
How was that?
mindset change for you not only on the field but, but as the player in the locker room?
Because you still are a huge personality at people.
I feel like look up to it in leadership role.
Well, I've always focused on the servant leadership part
of the quarterback position and leadership in general,
because people can get led in different ways.
Some people you can really hold them accountable,
be firm with them.
Some people you got to baby them, for the most part, so I always just focus on that aspect.
But when I was a starter, a firm starter,
when I was young, the face of the franchise
of the Buccaneers, my sole focus was to get people
to like me, you know what I'm saying?
I wanted to be a people pleaser, you know,
I wanna make everybody happy.
But when I got to New Orleans Saints after Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, same team that I was on, to the Super Bowl, I had to make everybody happy. But when I got to New Orleans Saints after Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buckeye,
the same team that I was on to the Super Bowl, I had to understand, man,
everybody don't got to like you.
You just got to win games.
And that's one thing that Sean Payne taught me in New Orleans.
But seeing Drew Brees and Sean Payne have the continuity to really put a plan
together to argue about certain things, but at the end of the day,
come up with something like,
how can we best win this game?
Not, Jamis, are you going to throw for 400 yards and five
touchdowns to win the game for us?
But is the special teams going to win this game for us?
Is the defense going to have to get a big turnover for us?
Like, what is required for us to win every game individually?
And I think that's how I grew in terms of knowing the quarterback position
But in terms of service, I've always wanted to serve my players to the best of my abilities
So when I became that backup quarterback per se because that was my role
I wanted to ensure like just like specialist like specialists and quarterbacks are on the same team because only one of us
Out there. Yeah, it's only one of us out there
So we have to exert all of our energy to helping that one person
Be his best and that's why I'm still Cleveland Browns was so
So peaceful for me because this was the first time that I was able to be the veteran in a room
Like even when I had to back up their card Derek still was the veteran like, you know, yeah
Yeah one year over me, but I was it was nothing I can really can teach him
I just was there to serve him. But Deshaun, DTR, Bailey Zapp, late in the year, Tyler Huntley with his resurgence with Miami,
I was able to actually speak into their lives and give them little tools in the game. You know how
it is. So you enjoyed it. You enjoyed the transition because whenever we were with Andrew Luck,
Matt Hasselbeck was the backup that got brought in and he said he had to have a conversation with himself like hey
Alright, my time's up. I can give back here with this guy or I can be a guy who still tries to get a starting role
Somewhere starting quarterback somewhere and he said he
He came at peace or whatever with being Andrew Luck's backup and everything like that
Have you had to have that conversation because Because you said backup role was there.
Or do you think you still have starting football?
I know I'm one of the best.
Because I think you played.
I think you played starting football.
I know I'm one of the best 32 quarterbacks in this world.
OK.
And no one can take that away from me.
But I do whatever's required.
And what I want for myself, I want for everyone.
So when someone else is in that role,
like late in the season when Kevin Stefanski turned it over
to Dorian Thomas Thompson Robinson, like, late in the season when Kevin Stefanski turned it over to Dorian Thomas, Thompson Robinson.
Man, I'm his biggest fan,
because I know the importance of week to week.
I just want to win.
That's all I want.
It's not the stardom, it's not the fame.
Obviously I want to be the team's quarterback,
like, because that's what I think is required for me,
because I want to feel that, you know what I'm saying?
But I just want to win.
So anyway I can help,
you know, I can serve anything I could do to play more consistently to win. I'm gonna do that. Yeah
Yes, go James
Connor has a question for you. Yeah, James
So you kind of let us in prayer there and you talked about the game on the field
But what do you think the pregame speeches from these coaches is gonna be?
What do you think the message is to their teams?
Cuz obviously the Chiefs are talked about with the refs
and everything.
And then the Eagles have, you know,
they're kind of playing spoiler and all the pressures on them.
What do you think the coaches are going
to be saying to their team?
Well, I think any time you have the biggest event of it all,
you want to silence the noise and focus
on playing your best game.
So the coaches are telling them, like, hey, guys,
let's focus on being our very best for this last game like we don't have enough game this year
so why not show up right here right now in the biggest moment of them all with
all everybody watching you and play the best version of yourself today.
Hell yeah I like that. Hey those moments that they started catching with you when you were
running this year it's not about the, it's not about the cameras. Not about the access, actually it is.
It was such a moment. Every week we were looking forward to hearing you and now
you know with this week of work that you've done here at the Super Bowl and
everything you've ever done on any podcast or show you have in a very
lucrative career waiting for you whenever it's all said
and done. So enjoy the hell out of your time spending in Iraq brother. We can't
thank you enough. Thank you, thank you. But it's about the impact and that's
what you guys are doing. You guys are impacting the sports space in a whole
another realm, especially with your work ethic and you allowing and trusting the
guys that you have with you to do their best job. We got a good team James, you
know, and I think you're a leader of great man. Leader of men. Yeah leader of men. This cardigan. Yes.
Ostrich too. Yeah it looks awesome. I'm gonna have to check my salads on it because if these not ostriches I'm gonna be pretty mad.
I ain't gonna say they snake I'm gonna say they gator. Hey so Zito just told me that you have a tea you're doing. Yes, real tea.
Real tea. The best tea in the realest tea of them all has high in antioxidants
and I'm just I'm just an advocate for promoting things that I can work that I
can actually drink at the workout, right? So this tea is a tea that provides it
has essential vitamins in there, antioxidants, it makes you younger,
it makes you healthy, and it's very hydrating, yes. It's called real tea? Oh, it's called
R-Y-L-T, real tea. Real? It's the realest tea you'll ever have. Okay. I've seen your case. It's
everywhere. It's in Walmart, it's in Target, it's in Publix. Like, it's out. Is this...
Are you a part of this?
I'm a part of it. I'm an ambassador of real tea.
Okay, let's go, Jameis.
Good for you, man. Keep killing it.
We can't thank you enough.
Ladies and gentlemen, maybe the quarterback of the future.
Ten-year vet, ladies and gentlemen, Jameis Winston.
Yeah, Jameis!
Thank you. Yeah, James. James. Yes. Thank you.
Thank you.
You're awesome.
We appreciate you.
You look sweet.
Thank you, James.
Yeah, it's good job.
Cleaned up.
Cleaned up.
Have to.
Good cardigan.
Good cardigan.
Thank you.
Look great.
Great cardigan.
Appreciate you.
It's ostrich.
You're right. It's ostrich. Hey, you look awesome.
Ostrich.
Is that ostrich?
Yeah, it is.
You're good.
It's not.
That's snakeskin, I think.
Yeah, it's gotta be a lizard.
Pat and I own a lot of boots.
The ostrich is the ones that have like the little bumps on them.
Duh.
Welcome back, Akeesha.
Hey, Akeesha, she's trying to make you feel comfortable.
I'm 100% sure there's a snake.
I think for the everything
You know, I was I was giving them an excuse about the yeah snake died in his sleep, right? Remember live a long life. You don't kill that snake for those boots. Yeah, that thing had a great life. This is an ostrich
What a leader uh-uh, it's all about the trenches. Yeah.
You do.
Yeah, but you don't believe that.
You don't believe that.
Well, when we get to the picks, we'll see.
Oh, you're back on the wagon.
We will see what we believe.
You're back on the wagon.
Good for you.
Akeush, what have you taken away from today's program thus far?
Anything important?
The governor's awesome.
Jamis was awesome.
I forgot about the governor. He was unbelievable. I completely forgot. I forgot about the governor. He was right over here. How
about the Ari? Two state? Ari. Ari Emanuel was here. Pretty cool. His pants were perfect. Yeah and then you see, I mean that guy every single day.
Same life. Same. Doesn't matter where he is. We're rolling. We're in a cold tub. We're in a hot tub, we're in a red sauna. Oh, he's rolling?
Dude, yeah, he's rolling on a ball, that ball.
Oh, I thought you meant like rolling like Jiu Jitsu.
Oh, he might be.
He might be.
Probably.
I mean, that would make a lot of sense.
They're like mollies.
It has been a big day.
Dan Marino.
Oh, yeah.
Miami needs to get more Pittsburgh guys.
That's what I gathered.
It's true.
Yeah.
Tougher.
And with that being said, ladies and gentlemen, final guest of this particular hour, a man
who has a sphere show coming to Las Vegas, a man who has hosted so many summer parties
his name is synonymous with the season.
Ladies and gentlemen Kenny Chesney.
Wow. Kenny Chesney. Wow! Hey!
Holy hell!
Wow!
Holy shit!
Kenny Chesney.
Always!
Ha ha ha!
Damn!
Kenny Chesney's here.
The goat!
The goat.
The goat.
Here you go Kenny.
Holy hell.
Kenny Chesney's here.
Look how jacked you are.
That's that time of year.
Good to see you Kenny.
Good to see you Kenny.
Okay Kenny, the Sphere announcement is gigantic.
We obviously have all gone to Kenny Chesney concerts across cities across America every
single summer.
Your name, I've told you this numerous times,
being synonymous with summer is just such a cool thing.
Jimmy Buffett had it for a very long time.
Feels like you are the one that's bringing the summer
festival from town to town.
Now you're doing the Sphere here.
And how excited are you for that?
And what's that going to look like?
Well, I'm very excited just because it's new.
We've been out there a while.
And for the people that have come to our shows
over the years and lived with this music for a while,
they're gonna get to experience it
in a completely different state of consciousness.
I mean, it's crazy.
And we're looking forward to it.
We're in rehearsals right now.
We are creating content as we speak,
and it's not gonna be long
till we start two-a-day practices, if you know what I mean.
Yeah, we're close.
The boys will fall.
Yeah, we're close.
The boys will fall.
AJ has a question for you, Kenny.
Kenny, I watch these artists run on treadmills
and sing, I assume, done at a time.
Do you ever do that, Kenny, ready for a tour?
Yeah, when it gets close.
Really?
Yeah, because I just get my lungs ready.
It's one thing, if I just stood still,
look, my mom has video footage of me
in my grandmother's kitchen as a child listening to music
and I just move.
Oh yeah.
So that's just the way it is.
So when you got the band I got and you go up there
on stage and you feel all that energy on stage,
it's insane about how much it takes of me
lung capacity to do my show.
Yeah, but your actions are leading everybody else out there
too, you know, because when you're sweating your ass off,
everybody else.
What about the spirit though?
You'll be able to move.
The stage feels, I guess we were up high,
but like, can you move like you want to?
It's a version of what we do.
It's not the same thing as, you know,
because when we're in a stadium, it goes a long way.
And I'm going back and forth all night but in suicides whatever they call it
yeah like but in sphere it's gonna be a smaller version of it but yeah I've got
my space okay and we'll see we're we're in rehearsals like I said now but we
won't really know till we get in there yeah you know so that's gonna be
sometime in May when we can start rehearsals
I can't wait for the experience. Yes. Yeah, you know you said a different stream of consciousness
I've only been in this fear in one particular consciousness
And I think for your concert, it's gonna be the right one
So I can't wait to experience it. We're looking forward to it. D. But we were in there
We had an experience won't say what?
We were in there, we had an experience, we won't say what performer or performers it was, but some of the guys were disappointed with some of the songs that they played with the catalog you have of so many bangers.
How do you pick what's going to be on the track list in what city or what performance?
Well, I think that you can ask anybody in my Road family.
We're not a big believer.
We will do some songs just because of the space that we don't normally do like in a stadium environment
Just because of the way it's built and we can it's more of an experience than it is an energy thing
But that being said I've never been one to do a bunch of deep cuts because when you start doing deep cuts
Thank you. Everybody's checking their phones
You got Bono's number, you should tell that to him. It was you too, I'll let you know it was you too.
I didn't say that.
We are telling you, we are telling you.
We assume it would have been a great show if they would have played all their hits.
I think I, who's a, hey I like U2's music, there's a couple songs I certainly love.
Same way.
Like whenever I went there it was just all, I it was for like his their people like super their people
But it was Super Bowl week. So it was like a lot of people were in town, right? Nonetheless
I didn't know any of the songs, but I thought the sphere was very cool if you will
Yeah, I'm excited to see how much you and then there's like a rattling and shit happening through it all
Yeah, there's a lot going on but still I mean people still when they come they come to your show
You mean they want to hear the music they live with.
For me, when I go see somebody's show, which has been a while,
but when I go see, let's just say if I go see Bruce, Bruce
Springsteen, I want to hear Born to Run.
I want to hear it.
Have to.
So I would be disappointed if I didn't.
Well, you know, when I go, I want to hear my tractor.
She thinks my tractor's six feet.
Do you have to hear that one?
Yeah.
We're talking about that again.
Yeah, we are.
OK.
Sorry we had to bring that back.
Yeah, that's OK.
Tony has a question for you, Ken.
Yeah, well, we were in the sphere the first time.
It's a lot.
Did you go and scout and see other people's shows in there
to know its capabilities and stuff?
I haven't seen a show there.
But when we've been planning to do this since
last April, even before we did last year's tour, but I went to see about 30
minutes of U2's set that they had it filmed and it was as if they were really
there. Yeah. And I had my team with me and I went I looked at them and I went
there's no way we're not not doing this. Yeah. I mean because it was just so
different for me. Yeah. You know and I've been doing it a minute and I went, there's no way we're not not doing this. Yeah, yeah. I mean, because it was just so different for me.
Yeah.
You know, and I've been doing it a minute
and I wanted to take my audience and my friends
and people that I know and love on a journey with me.
And so yeah, to answer your question,
or your question, they're gonna,
we're gonna play a long time.
We've been blessed with a pretty big catalog
and we're gonna play for a while.
We're gonna do a lot of songs that people know.
Yeah. A few that they don't, but we're gonna do a few deep cuts,
but not a lot.
Yeah, but whenever you put out new albums,
you create new bangers.
I assume that list gets harder to put together
every single, are you touring as well or just Sphere?
I'm doing just, I'm doing-
Not just Sphere, but you get it.
Yeah, I'm doing that because all of our energy
is going towards making that great.
We're gonna play a couple months
and then I'm actually gonna take some time to live a little.
And I'm going to, you know, you know, the next fall I'm going to actually go to some football games.
Wow! Living! Patrons!
Yes!
And fast forward!
Alright, we are wrapping up here on ESPN. continue on YouTube ESPN plus Disney plus and TikTok live
The Super Bowl is on Sunday will overreact on Monday be a friend tell a friend something nice. It might change their life
Have a great weekend
Completely forgot it was Friday. Yeah. Yeah easy to until I was talking there crazy
Oh, we don't have another show until the Super Bowl in this entire thing. You're in town, obviously
We are thankful we get to chat with you every single Super Bowl week
I'm thankful Zito's telling me you there's a book is it all on you wrote a book
Oh, I'm in a process of finishing it. Yeah, you wrote a book. I never said that
Congratulations. Oh there it is. Hey
Congratulations. Thank you. Thank you. No problem. Yeah, I've had a unique journey so far and I wanted to I felt like it was time to it's not a memoir
I don't want to go there
but I felt like I just I've had such a unique journey on the road and and
Off the road and just every just creatively and all kinds of stuff
I felt like it was time to have to do it while I like fits in between the front cover and the back cover
Yeah, absolutely. Are you reading it for the I have to read it
Yeah, like I'm writing it
with this girl Holly Gleason who's been a part of my life for a long time. She's been a part of my
journey and this has been something we've been working on for a while and it's really... I've
never wanted to write a book because I don't love talking about myself that much. I'd rather write
songs and make records based on your all's lives. You know what I mean? To find commonality like that.
records based on your all's lives. You know what I mean? Define commonality like that. But so to write a book and then have to read all the chapters and it's really, it's really
interesting.
Yeah. Well, congratulations. It's a massive decision. It's also a massive amount of task
at hand to finish a book. I'm excited to read it, brother. And you say you hate talking
about yourself, but at this stage you're a goat, dude. So a lot of people will find inspiration
and I assume people will be able to get some knowledge. You know, I was a kid in East Tennessee
that grew up in the country that loved Tennessee football
and that's all we had and I had a big dream in my head
and I loved music more than anything.
And if there's some kid out there in the world
that could learn something from my journey,
this is one of the reasons I wanted to write the book.
Hell yeah.
Is there a chapter in there about Tennessee
coming up to the North and getting their asses beat?
Oh!
There should be.
That was weird.
I love Typo's team.
I love Typo's team.
They did get rinsed.
Iyamaleava.
Nico Iyamaleava.
I think he showed a lot of toughness on that night.
I don't think people fully understand how cold it was
and how many hits he was taking.
I love the Tennessee team. Two of them, I think. Yeah. Cracked two he was taking. I love the Tennessee team.
Two of them I think.
Cracked two of his helmets.
I love the Tennessee team.
I think they're about a year out or whatever the case is.
But that Ohio State team, that was like, I think when we all realized, hold on, this
might be the real deal here and they would inevitably be that.
They got a bad, I don't want to say they got a bad draw, but usually when you play the
test, when you play the NCAA basketball tournament, the best team plays the worst team
and kind of goes to there, right?
It wouldn't that way with football.
When I wonder why.
Oh, so you got the memo, huh?
The seeding's bullshit.
The seeding was weird.
Like, I think Oregon got screwed.
Like, Oregon, like, should have played the worst team
and Ohio State played the second worst team, but no.
Yeah, there was a lot of conversation.
It was really interesting. I think they're gonna adjust that after
you'll see I think from what they're saying yeah I think if you speak up about
maybe I'm about it oh there we go did you see the college football playoff song
already got a song oh man really good oh did you write it I I could only dream
you can I dream about time I'm piecing that together. More schools get a shot to shine.
More teams and a lot more fun.
Starting with 12, down to one.
That's how we crown a CFP national champion.
Yeah, we remember.
It was really good.
Of course.
I just want to ask if you did a video.
We didn't. This is not our song. Oh. This is the actual song. Hold on. Yeah, we remember it's really there's of course, that's what I asked you did a video really
This is not our song. Oh, this is the actual song. Hold on Kenny. Yeah
Congratulations
You have lived a long life in this music world. Yes, you have never and I can't stress this enough
Never heard a fucking heater like this
To promote the 12 team playoff from ESPN. That's how we Catch you
Keep the dream alive one two four get a first round by
12
New Year six bowls on a rotating basis.
This bar.
Could be your all-time favorite team.
Or somebody new, person on the scene.
Well, it's the things that it's about time.
I mean, it is hooky.
It is hooky.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You can stop it.
We ran that when that first came out.
Uh-huh.
I think I ran it five times in a row.
And you say hooky, we're still singing that.
It's hooky.
We're still singing that.
Love that song.
OK, there's a chance.
Now that legitimately is not ours.
ESPN created that to market the 12-team playoff,
because they wanted it to be educational in there
and the whole thing.
Some people were saying, and I know
there was humans behind it, so I don't want to discredit them.
But some people would say, maybe AI made that.
Like, hey, you punch in the information maybe AI could create that
song or help create that song whatever the case is how is the music world from
your perspective with AI coming into it because I think I heard Timbaland who is
a producer obviously his message now is like DJs need to start like learning how
to work with AI as opposed to trying to fight against AI.
In the music world, have you thought about this at all
and what are your thoughts on it as a whole?
Well, I think it's a big change, right?
It's a big change and I think it's a slippery slope, honestly.
But I'm a creative person.
If I didn't write my own songs, I might have...
I don't write all of my own songs,
but if I wasn't a creative person, I might feel differently,
but for someone that's really creative
and has been that way his whole adult life,
it bothers me a little.
Because it might hinder it a little bit.
Because it's just, yeah.
It might go in the direction of what the AI is pointing you.
Right, I don't know.
I just think it's a very slippery slope,
and I don't know.
I don't have an opinion yet.
But I know that it's, if you're creative
and you've been doing it a certain way for a long time,
it's, I don't know, it just takes the creativeness
out of it for me.
Okay, I got it.
That's the only negative thing for me.
Now you have a Hall of Fame career
that is already behind you, and I assume you're only gonna continue to make bangers, but there's people that's only negative thing for me now you have a hall of fame career that is already behind you and I assume
You're only gonna continue to make bangers, but like there's people that are only gonna be in the AI music
Yeah, yeah the whole thing. Yeah, I'm excited to see how it ends up working out. Go ahead comment
Yeah as one of like country music's greatest stars ever. What do you think about the idea?
Like you have to cut your teeth in Nashville
Yeah
Do you feel like it's necessary to go to Nashville and then kind of go from there,
or do you think that's changed as well?
I mean, if you're creative,
the Nashville that I moved to
is a very wonderful, beautiful, creative space.
And so that's why it was great for me.
Now, if you don't write songs,
I mean, I do feel like that you have to work.
I mean, this idea that you're just gonna make it
because you feel entitled to is not right.
I mean, you have to get really good at what you do.
But I don't think it's that important.
You have to obviously have connections.
But if you wanna be a singer-songwriter like I was,
it does help to be in the mix.
Yeah, yeah, that area.
But yeah, we all know and love Willie Nelson.
I mean, he moved to Nashville and then moved out
because it didn't work and moved to Austin.
That's when his career took off.
It's crazy.
How do you feel about the country music world we're in
right now?
Everything's country.
Yeah.
And everything.
Well, that's the thing.
I like it for people to say they don't love country music
right now.
It just means they haven't been exposed to all of it. Yeah. Because now more than ever, there's the thing. I like it for people to say they don't love country music right now, it just means they haven't been exposed
to all of it.
Because now more than ever, there's something for everyone.
And there's old heads, I assume in the country world.
I could just only imagine because I know in the music
that we listened to growing up,
they would have the same exact feeling about like,
that ain't whatever, that ain't, that ain't.
Oh look, they said the same thing about me.
Yeah, but I'm saying like there was that for a long time.
Right now it feels like it is a little bit more of a. Pretty open. I mean, that ain't. Oh look, they said the same thing about me. Yeah, but I'm saying like there was that for a long time. Right now it feels like it is a little bit more of a...
It's pretty open.
I think so too.
It really is.
And I think that's a product of how people consume music.
Because when I grew up, you either had the country station
or the rock station, what we now know and love is classic rock.
So you had to choose.
Now with all the streaming services and everything,
you can listen to anything, anywhere in the world, anytime you want to.
So it's all, it's, yeah, the genre's there and there are different genres, but people
consume music much differently than they did when I was listening to it.
What'd they say?
They said your stuff wasn't country?
You said they said-
Yeah, well, of course.
I mean, they had a few two guitars in it.
You know, so-
So few guitars?
I mean, too many guitars in it. Gotcha.
Or it was, it was.
No, man, no, man.
Yeah.
That's pretty.
Yeah, that sounds like all vocals to me.
Yeah, yeah.
Are you sure you didn't sing that song?
I know, yeah, right?
Yeah.
I have a couple of times, pretty intoxicated.
It is your concert.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's kinda how it goes.
Ty, here's the last question for you here, Kenny.
Have you thought at all about for the Sphere Show
how different that's gonna be doing just the same question for you here, Kenny. Have you thought at all about for the Sphere show how different that's going to be doing
just the same venue night after night after night, same show?
Like how much different will that be than going on tour?
Because obviously the set list stays the same, but you're in new venues seeing new people.
Yeah, the set list will change a little bit at Sphere, but for me, I mean, it's like I
don't gamble, right?
You shouldn't hear.
Yeah, we've been losing.
I don't gamble, right? And I don't smart. And I don't do clubs.
And I haven't had alcohol in a long time.
And I don't pay for stuff, right?
And so extracurricular activities, if you know what I mean.
Sure, sure, sure.
So that takes a lot of Vegas out.
So I'm gonna have to go to Topgolf a lot.
Topgolf.
Yeah, so I'm going to have to.
OK, you were describing all the things in Vegas
that you would have to check off the box to distract.
Yes.
Got it.
So I'll be working out a lot.
My friend Dan Mullen got the job at UNLV.
Yeah, how about that?
And he's going to let us come work out
at UNLV's facility, he said.
So we're going to be over there a lot.
So I saw I stay out of trouble. OK. But as far as the show is concerned, we're going to be over there a lot. So I saw I stay out of trouble.
Okay.
But as far as the show is concerned, I'm really afraid I'm I won't get bored.
Sturkrates like Michael Cole, friend of mine, friend of ours.
He's been in WWE for 28 years.
He's been on the road for like 28 years.
He's missed three shows.
He, he says he's going to go.
I can't wait to retire in my ranch
and just stay there.
He's gonna get stir crazy.
Oh, oh gosh.
He's gonna get stir crazy because he needs to be moving.
I feel like you've been on tour for so long.
Well, speaking of Willie Nelson, he wrote a song once called
Still is Still Moving to Me.
You know, because he's being gone.
He's constantly moving.
And I feel like I'm a bit like a shark.
Like it's gotta be slowly, constantly moving.
Or it'll die.
And I feel like I got a little bit of that in me.
So you'll be at the sphere then for how many nights?
Yeah, as I said, a couple months.
Right now we're on sale for 15 nights,
which means we're gonna be there two months.
And so we'll figure it out.
And I'll probably go in and out from there.
I got a good core group of workout guys in Malibu and I'll probably go you gotta
move though yeah cuz I think people do get stir crazy oh and I get like
residencies I think people do residency and it gets yes I'll get bored bored
bored there's only so much streaming things you can watch bingo yeah all right
well keep going we appreciate that I love your brother thanks for having me
thank you for coming on good luck with the book good luck with the book. Good luck with Sphere.
I can't wait to see you out there. Keep going, brother.
You look younger than ever. Ladies and gentlemen, Kenny Chesney.
Yeah, Kenny!
Yeah, that was good clean dap.
That was good clean dap right there with Asia.
Clean J's.
He's always jacked. He's always super jacked.
Sober.
Yeah, he's locked in.
That would be a six for your show.
I think so.
Think about the ship.
That's going to be.
Oh, yeah.
It'll be all.
Yeah.
As he was talking, like giving his answer, I was just thinking about like, oh, there's
going to be beach.
There's going to be breezes that come through there.
There's going to be probably a ship.
There's going to be some night.
I mean, it's going to be.
Oh, yeah.
Pirate action, maybe.
Yeah.
I didn't even think about pirate coming out.
Pirate. Exactly. Still radio. Oh, yeah pirate action maybe. Yeah, I didn't think about part coming out
Exactly. Yeah still radio. Oh my god, just being out like a beach bar down in Margaritaville That's I've looked back on the YouTube show and I thought to myself. Yeah, they were playing that for their fans without a doubt
Deep could yeah, I don't know where their set was already their whole show was set probably before they thought about the Super Bowl being there
Yeah, I probably didn't even know the Super Bowl We were one of the biggest YouTube fans in the history of you to fostered say you too is his favorite fan
And he was like he might have been inspired by how we were feeling about it
Yeah, but if you're a die-hard you too fan
I feel like you said I feel like that that was your show because no one else who was there for the Super Bowl who?
Maybe knows like four or five you two songs like none of us had a good time, you know
That terrible time. Thank you. She please
Ship Bruce fall asleep. Oh, is that what you did Bruce? You fell asleep at that thing. I
Was getting nauseous from all the action
Words pass out the words that was it. I said, you know what? I can't I can't look it up at this anymore bad bad words all the bad words passed out the words that was it I said you know what I
can't I can't look it up at this anymore bad bad words all the bad words yeah oh
yeah terrible ones great performance today what do you do today we mean his
announcement five minutes oh yeah hey I'm proud of you thank you appreciate it
great season boys but I will say just like Nick Saban said can't change
anything going into the biggest game because if you could do something better why didn't
you do it at the beginning of the season. Sure. Could have been a better year. Now that
we know what's possible with the five minute. Oh did you see today. Oh yeah. Fucking hit
it to hit the drum. Yeah.
Crazy.
Drunk though.
Did a full spit.
Oh, you have to.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, full presentation.
Yeah.
That was great work, Bruce.
We still got a big overreaction Monday.
We'll be bringing it.
Got to bring it.
Still bringing it.
Anthony Calhoun walking by.
Indianapolis sports news legend.
AC.
AC.
Good to see you, buddy.
Hell yeah, AC.
Right behind a white guy that was just on camera there.
We did not know.
Good to see white guy on camera there.
Yeah, cool white guy.
Young Saints fan on camera there.
All right, good to see you.
Thanks for hanging out over here.
All right, we're going to take a break.
Hey, Q, what did you learn there from?
I mean, the fact that he's sober is kind of crazy.
Going to Vegas, that's quite the temptation
Yeah, but that's good that ends. That's a good thing go to top goals. I mean, yeah, that's your first take away
Not that his books gonna be awesome
Not pay for you go to casinos can't drink can't go to any of the fun extracurricular
I mean was wild go to Topgolf. That sounds fun. Topgolf is great. It's great. Topgolf is a great time. Every night. The more you
hang out with this guy, the more you realize karma is not a real
thing. Well, that's what Nick says too. Everybody that's
around. Why does everyone say that? I don't know. Something
you should think about though. Something you should think
about. Talk to talks table over there.
Wearing your titles.
Boys.
How's it going?
Comfortable?
Fantastic.
Yeah.
Unbelievably comfortable.
Feel really good.
It's almost like a back brace because this couch, it's very easy to sink into.
So it's kind of propping you to be clear.
Yeah.
I feel like a dead body.
It's almost holding me in place.
There's a WWE titles available now at WWE Shaw.
Is this mean you guys?
Uh, I don't know. Maybe he can read into it. How you'd like there's a chance.
I mean, I've switched twice since the show started. Really? Yeah. Dead serious.
We've all done that. How about after Jamis does his thing? It's a man. Yeah.
So I'm saying that any consideration? He broke the game down.
Incredibly. The bunch that the chiefs. So I'm saying that in consideration. He broke the game down incredibly.
The bunch that the Chiefs can do.
Stack bunch.
The Eagles.
And Travis can.
Yeah.
Wide open.
Just check Scott.
He's sitting in that zone.
Mass zone.
Sky, Sky, Sky.
Good shit.
You know the check?
D-Bunch does it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What was that all about?
D-Bunch a couple of times.
Why are you guys doing that to us?
You and James. That's my guy. You know. That's my guy too. No, because he's a DB. Yeah, yeah, what was that? Why are you guys doing that to us you James?
My god, no cuz he's a DB does this guy I mean sky cloud
You guys move Nebraska now fuck you
That did happen right here what way to get the best gator
My house I'll send you some. Come on over. Governor and Mrs. Governor, First Lady, make the best Gator in town. Fry Gator, Grill Gator,
Fresh Gator. Don't really matter what kind of Gator. You didn't come home for
Gator with me. Could you imagine going out with Governor Jeff Landry? No, it's a dream.
Add it to the list. Is So one of those fan boats. Yeah
The full boot we're definitely flanked by state he's too. Oh, he's blasted music
How loud that fan is that's gonna have to be so loud no way cuz the gate is here
No, he's probably playing gator music.
Yeah.
To bring them in.
What are they?
Because Florida Gators, they listen to Tom Petty, right?
They do.
Yeah.
So is that what the gators do?
I think most gators do.
Tom Petty.
That's a good, when they sing down there.
Yeah, sweet.
That's a good, all these colleges have sweet things.
Yes, they do.
LSU is the most wild.
Yeah, it is. By far. But after hearing
Governor Jeff Landry I can see that you know that it fits in. If I don't do the
chant I'm disrespecting this place. Exactly. There's a lot of conversations about how
many times I led a couple thousand people and is saying something on TV.
It's like hey I don't create the tradition we're trying to experience it
right? I won't tell you they're in on it.
Yeah, they are.
This is their thing.
They would like to win, though, again, LSU.
Yeah.
How about the Saints?
All we're talking about with the Saints
is like they're just set up for a couple years worth of failure.
Shite.
Kelly Moe, though.
Sean Payton was able to do with some shite setup.
It was.
Need a quarterback.
Bad.
Need a quarterback.
What else did we learn today?
Ari's like, ah, the Bears got us help now, huh?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
He's buying the Bears.
That's what I learned.
He's definitely.
What are you guys saying?
I'm hearing 8 to 10 million?
Yeah.
There's a tax situation, though.
There's a tax situation.
Let's stay free.
Let's stay and design the will.
Dude, he's always, he is always, every conversation with him is I already know
And then I'll get a call back with the person on the other side
I'm like hey, I think there's an opportunity for all you are so smart aren't you hold on
Actually trying somebody in could be anybody anybody you've ever heard of what was I telling you?
Please is on a FaceTime with two faces of people. And then they lay out about, and, and, and, and.
He's on the bottom of the screen telling them.
They laid up and he goes, I fucking know everything.
Okay?
Just let me do my shit.
I'm like, maybe, all right, maybe, all right.
And then we hang up.
He's awesome.
That was another thing I learned.
Like we started going down some of his clients.
Yeah.
Larry David.
Everybody.
Seth McFarlane.
Scorsese does what Scorsese wants to do.
Yeah.
Everybody kept saying to him, like, yeah, I assume those guys do what they want to do.
Because where they-
Seth McFarlane.
Yes.
Think about like Farland.
That guy.
Dude.
All those guys created their own shows and-
Super talents. Yeah. Yeah. Tyler Perry is worth their own shows and super talents. Yeah.
Yeah. Tyler Perry is worth billions. A lot of money. Yeah. Never would have thought Larry
David does what he wants to do. That was a great show. Yeah. Both of them. All right.
Let's get to a break. Last hour we'll make our picks and we'll get the hell out of
here. Big afternoon down here in New Orleans. That's right. A lot of meetings, a lot of handshakes, a lot of panels.
What?
Yeah, it should be great.
Any parties?
I don't know about this.
Any parties?
Yeah, we get invited any parties this week.
Yeah, what's going on?
What was that all about?
Why didn't we get invited any parties?
We got invited to no parties this week.
The media one.
Well, everybody that's just a handout.
That's a handout invite.
It's a handout. NFLPA. We got invited. Yeah, we could have went to handout. That's a handout. Invite is a handout. NFLPA.
We got invited. Yeah, we kind of want to help you. Really? Okay. Yeah. Any other fanatics?
Guys, you can invite it up. Alex. I remember we, we did the whole thing. Yeah. They screwed
us too many times. Okay. Well said. So it says I'm not one any others the new heights one. Oh wait, they had a party. No
They did it. They didn't have a party. We would have got invited definitely you've been on new heights
We we talked about new heights Jason show Travis comes on all time
They'd have a party. Yeah, I don't think they did we did not get invited if they did
They'd have a party. Yeah, I don't think they did we did not get invited if they did
Wow, you gotta be shit boys. We got more to do. Okay, keep your friends close they say
Yeah, but not close enough to be in there
Flavor flavors at that is that the part dance here? Yeah, you know Damn well Him on Dan's here. Dan O? Dan Rue? Dan Mullin? Dan Mullin?
Hold on one second. I need to get the proper intro. Hold on. I need to get the proper intro.
Hold on. Hold on. I don't want to fuck this up.
Okay. Okay. Just gotta wiggle. Like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, I just want to make sure I have this right
this is dance and dance okay oh yeah this is Dan Rue okay we we have seen his work on
the internet his knees we grew have WD-40 literally boozing through them one
of the smoothest athletes God it's good to see Elvis what you're able to do with The most
elvish.
What you're able to do with your hips and knees are obviously legendary.
And you can follow along at Dan at Dan Rue on Instagram.
How about this Dan?
If you make one shot here, we will give 50 people $500 who repost this video,
say something nice to somebody,
and put the easiest way to pay them.
They'll be saying, wow, that Dancin' Dan,
that guy with those smooth ass knees.
What a hero he is.
What's that?
Wherever you want.
Does that feel like a good shot?
Does it feel makeable while also being slightly difficult?
Yeah.
Yes, it does.
50, oh no. Oh my God. Yes, it does. 50. Oh, my god.
Hold on.
OK, so he's got a stick.
Dan, Dan, Dan.
Dan, Dan.
Dan, it's slick.
It's slick.
It's light.
It's light.
It's slick.
Yeah, now you know the ball.
Now you know the game.
Now you know the game.
This is Dan, Dan, Dan, Rue.

Wow yeah

okay hold on one second. Hey, you ride a horse?
I have a horse.
Yeah, what sports?
You're just always an incredible dancer, phenomenal dancer?
Yes, always.
Basketball, football, but also now I'm into drag racing.
Drag racing.
What's that?
You're driving?
Yeah.
Okay, alright, so, holy shit.
Athlete. What are you driving?
over 2000
GTRs, are you building them or yes?
Okay, so you have a shop as well. Yeah, okay. We doing pink slips. Are we going for like actual not my car?
I'm not just saying what your day-to-day is what your day is. You said 2,000 horsepower GTR
Yeah, the shop used to built it for me

you've absolutely crushed it on the internet we've appreciated watching you
do your shit legit come on come on come on hey hey hey we appreciate you ladies and gentlemen dancing
Yep gotta carry it out of there just 150 people father a lot of water shot a lot of horsepower
Holy shit that back end is
Out of that thing good for you, Dan. Thank you, man 50 people $500 you see those knees
Good for you, Dan. Thank you, man. 50 people, $500. You see those knees? Unbelievable. Great knees. It is. That's like Elvis 2.0.
I don't know if Elvis had those knees. The hips?
He did have the hips. I don't know about...
He had it all. Maybe not in his later days, you know, when he gained a little bit of weight, but early on, yeah.
What? He got comfortable.
That's right. He was a hound dog. After he got screwed by his agent.
I watched the-
Old buddy was taking all his money.
Speaking of agent, I think he wanted to be
an FBI agent, I believe, or-
Yeah.
I watched a movie.
He brought a gun, right?
I don't know, I know he just started eating
a President's peanut butter M&M's,
or peanut M&M's though.
He's supposed to do that.
Hound dog.
I guess Elvis just used a lip, yep, there he is.
Which one's that?
Nixon.
Big Nixon, yeah. I'm not a crook.
So Elvis thought he was going to the White House
to become a federal agent.
And Nixon thought Elvis was coming to take a picture
so he could up his youth vote.
So both of their teams met with the other people
individually beforehand and laid out rules.
Okay, so like President Nixon's team goes up
to Elvis's team
and goes, all right, don't put your feet on the desk.
The peanut M&Ms are his, obviously you let him have those.
The other snacks will be for you.
And then like the water is this whole thing.
And then Elvis's team is telling the president's team,
all right, here's how the king wants it.
The king wants a disc.
And all the things.
And then neither of them would tell them, right?
Neither of them would tell them who they were.
So as soon as they sit down, Elvis feet right up on the thing, grabs the peanut M&Ms.
Then he finds out through the conversation that he's just being used for a photo.
So then it's like, this is how the movie depicted it.
And then anyways, Elvis became a federal agent at the end of the movie.
Love that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that was like why he was the way he was.
Legend.
That's like at the end of his life, I think he was like chasing trying to be.
It was, I learned a lot about him.
Yeah.
I got a lot of gold.
I doubt.
I mean, he loved.
Yeah.
He had the sauce.
He did have the sauce.
How was that?
Yeah, big time.
He did too much, maybe sometimes.
Yeah, that's got easy.
Come easy.
Go.
They say for us.
Right?
Anyways, Governor Jeff LeHenenry that guy's gonna run
for president.
Yeah I hope so.
President of the world.
My vote.
I think I was a good appearance for him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Incredible.
I think his people walk out of there going, Mr. Governor.
I mean come on.
Yeah governor that's a big win.
Let's go get you some grilled gator.
You offered hunting, you commented about being on the fleet against Peter, you said we love
our people here, we do.
Everything about it, home run.
Mr. Governor, what a time.
South is our smart.
Football! Football is wonderful and we've been celebrating it all week and obviously all season long
and this Sunday our champion is crowned.
Will it be the Kansas City Chiefs and will it be a three-peat or will it be the Philadelphia
Eagles getting over the hump that is Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl?
Nick Sirianni, the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, has been called a...
Big dumb dipshit.
...all season long.
Even after they started running away
with either the division or potential great seeding
in the playoffs, people continue to say,
wow, this guy's a liability.
They're not going to be able to win
because this head coach is a...
Big dumb dipshit.
Now they're in the Super Bowl.
And on the other side, it's a team that is back to back Super Bowl champions.
Back to back the best in the world.
They would secure the number one seed in the AFC two weeks before the season had ended.
They had the best record in football and all anybody kept saying about them all season
long was that they were playing.
Like hammered dog shit?
They said this offense
is nowhere near what it could be they look like they're playing like absolute
shite the defense yeah they're keeping them in the games but there's no way
this team is anywhere near as good as last year's team or the year before that
this is the Kansas City Chiefs team that isn't gonna win because this team
although they're winning and beating everybody, they're actually... Shite.
That's not the case at all.
They're in a Super Bowl.
They're potentially going to be three times, three-peating world champs, which has never
been done before.
And all anybody wanted to say about both these teams is that they stink.
They're either led by a loser or they are losers this year when they used to be winners.
So you've got a lot of motivation. So you got a lot of motivation.
You got a lot of conversation and you got a lot of great football for
at least four quarters on Sunday.
And then after that boys, the well-run draft.
No.
Okay, we're watching other sports.
No.
We're caring about other sports.
We're talking about drama.
We're talking about the draft.
We're talking about players.
We're talking about teams.
We're talking about drama.
We're talking about storylines. But for one more hour here, we're talking about the draft. We're talking about players. We're talking about teams. We're talking about drama. We're talking about storylines.
But for one more hour here, we're talking about football.
Hell yeah.
We got to be playing.
Talk some tables here at Boston Connor and at Ty Schmidt.
One half of the hammer.
Don.
Cowboys AP, Tony is here.
Did you guys get it right last night with the awards as a representative of the Associated
Press?
I did.
Some people didn't.
But personally, I, you know, I could put my head down at night and sleep easy knowing I got it right.
Good job, Tony.
Okay. Way to go, Tony.
Oh yeah, Tony.
You were the only one that had Van Genke.
I was the only one that had Van Genke as Defensive Player of the Year.
He was top eight in sacks, top five in TFLs. He had the most tackles as an edge.
He had two pick sixes, which obviously led edges
in that category.
I thought he was just all around.
Incredible.
He was one of the weirdest, not weirdest,
but like toughest defense player of the years in a long time
because there were just so many ways.
I had Pat Sertana as my third just because I'm an edge guy.
So that's just how I live.
Let's go to host of everything, DB, good D, bad D,
Daris J. Butler. And corner wins defensive player of the year.
Congratulations on the position.
Yes, sir.
Love that son of a Louisiana legend, Pat Sertan, also a Dolphins legend.
So great to see him.
He was on one of the best defensively.
He was actually locked down.
He was the all around best corner in the league, I think, by far, easily hands down.
He got him at Derrick Slingley Jr. but he was on the Everything DB team, of course.
And now he joins a very, very short list of cornerbacks to win this award.
You got C. Wood, your former teammate, Rob Woodson, Mel Blunt.
I think some of them have had two corners.
Stephon Gilmore, Dion.
So he is-
Rivas, everyone?
Building his legacy.
Ooh, I don't think Rivas wanted.
Interesting.
Yeah.
That's wild. That Rivas Island year, I don't think he wanted. Champ Bailey, I don't think Revis wanted. Interesting. Yeah, that's wild.
Like that Revis Island year, I don't think he wanted.
Champ Bailey, I don't think he wanted either.
He had an unbelievable year as well, but I don't think.
Well, because if you're like a great corner,
you're not getting a lot of action.
Yep.
And if you're, yeah, you're not getting a lot of action.
Even if through the year you blow up,
they're going to start sticking away from you.
So the action has to come to you for you to do great.
Is that why you think corners not normally it is
hard to like you can't just look at a stat sheet and knowing like you can know
Jamar chase or for quarterback or say Kwan Barkley if one of these guys have a
great game just looking at the box score just very much like offensive lineman
you don't really know unless you know unless you're a guy who's getting no
Santa's am I getting 10-11 picks a year so he's had ball production he follows
the more receivers.
He shows up in the run game.
He does everything you want to do
at that cornerback position.
He's defense player.
Hell yeah.
Good for him.
Good for him.
Super Bowl champion AJ Hawkins here.
AJ, is the palpable buzz that we are feeling around us
as old friends gather and new friends file in into this place,
does it make you go back
to the time when you won the Super Bowl? Do you want to put the pads on one last time?
Is this one of those games where you think to yourself, Oh, I wish I had one more game
in me. Can you, can you feel that energy radiating through your sarcastic energy radiating through
my, through my bones? But yeah, I think anytime, not just me, not just you guys as former players,
I mean, D, but you know, we know you and James
have been on the same wavelength for a while.
Like, you know, anytime you're around the Super Bowl,
I remember being a little kid watching the Super Bowl
thinking, hell, I want to put my pads on and play right now.
So I don't think that goes away for really anybody in America.
Yeah, I think it's the big one, you know?
And everybody's here.
We talked to Governor Jeff Lange earlier.
Yeah, I understand. And he talked about. We talked to Governor Jeff Lange earlier.
We talked about the world, you know, seeing even more of New Orleans.
Especially with what just happened last month to start the new year here.
They're very proud of it. It's awesome.
And the Super Bowl is always going to live up to the hype.
A.Q. Shipley, you think the game's going to be a great one?
We have flip-flopped, all of us, numerous times.
The game has become a pick- them basically on ESPN bet.
Both teams minus 110 on the money line,
which is the same exact odds for either team to win.
So that's point toss chief still favored by one though,
if you're gonna take the points.
Last time I checked it.
But it's still, it's basically a pick them in this.
What is the last thing we should think about
before we make our pick?
I think the biggest thing that you have to always take into account when this game happens with the
Kansas City Chiefs is the triangle between Spags, Reed, Mahomes. You just
always have to play that in your mind. I think there's so many people here that
think the Eagles are the team and they on paper are the team. But those three guys are special.
Okay.
Thanks for the sage words of advice.
Before we make our picks, ladies and gentlemen,
we have some gator.
There's some gator.
I believe there's some gator.
Gator?
Where?
I believe there's some gator.
We got some gator.
Okay.
There's been, oh, gator bots here.
Oh, gator bots.
Thank you, Bruce.
One of my favorite ways to eat gator. Thank you. Oh, gator bod. Thank you Bruce.
One of my favorite ways to eat gator.
Louisiana fish fry.
Wow.
Louisiana fish fry, obviously.
Shout out.
You guys want some gator bod?
Love some gator bod.
Let's go, gator nugget.
Little gator nugget.
Little gator nugget.
Little gator nugget.
Gator nugget.
Yeah, throw them right in his mouth.
Oh no.
I got that one.
Came off a thumb.
Sorry about a debug.
Hey Kish.
That's good Gator.
Cheers to you boys, cheers to the little guy here.
Now that's Gator.
Good Gator.
Gator's really good.
It kind of freaks me out a little bit.
It's like a mixture between chicken and calamari.
We used to eat a dinosaur.
That's, well, and then we ate an alien and that's like octopus.
True.
That's good Gator.
That does taste really good.
I love me some Gator.
That's unbelievable. That's really good. Don't compare it to Jeffery. I just taste that. Is Gator. That tastes really good. I love me some Gator.
That's unbelievable.
Is Gator like elk?
I don't know if Gator is like elk.
I think Gator is like elk.
Gator like Gator.
What's the name?
Rogan eats elk.
Is Gator like that?
Gator is Gator.
Is Gator healthy? I don't think it's fried gator. I don't think gator nuggets
is necessary. Fried gator definitely not. I had some grilled gator, perhaps that would be a little more
healthy. Of course. Perhaps, if I had to guess. From what you have heard. From my gator knowledge. Have you
been talking to a lot of the locals? I you been talking to a lot of the local?
I've been talking to a lot of locals. Yeah. Yeah, how do you feel about the city? I feel great about the city
Like I said, it's just got that Detroit flair
Something about this place that makes me think of grit and hard work and gator
Plenty other things some poor boy. You're telling me when we were walking around the French quarters last night
You thought of Detroit?
No way.
That was out of a movie there.
Yeah, yeah, like an eight mile movie.
But France, you know?
It's just something hit me.
I don't know what it was, man.
I went right, I thought I heard Eminem rapping
in the background.
That French quarters was cool.
Yeah.
It felt like we were walking in history there, legitimately.
Tight streets there, cool designs.
Parts of the Caribbean.
The way it's set up is wild.
Yeah.
Or Tuga.
It's amazing how quick the accent can rub off on Convict.
Oh, man.
I love it.
I think this could be you.
What accent?
Yeah, I could definitely love to talk like this.
I could definitely love it.
Yeah.
I'm quite sure I'd enjoy it.
Alright, before we make our picks, we need to take some quick picks from a man who is
from the great country of up north.
He's been giving out picks for decades and decades.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for sports rage.
Gabriel Morenci making us some money at the Super Bowl.
Yeah!
Yeah! Yeah!
What's up, Gabe?
N-O-L-A!
NOLA!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Who's got it, man?
Yeah.
Nobody!
Yeah, Morenci!
Yeah, Gabe!
Hold on, you gotta turn his mic on.
Turn his mic on.
Hell yeah.
Hey, can you turn the handheld on?
He's got the handheld.
I wanted AQ to enjoy this.
My man, I'm gonna go get him.
I'm gonna go get him. I'm gonna go get him. I'm gonna go get him. I'm gonna go get him. I'm gonna go get him. Hold on, you gotta turn his mic on. Turn his mic on. Hell yeah.
Hey, can you turn the handheld on? He's got the handheld.
I wanted AQ to enjoy this.
My man.
You're on.
Yeah, okay.
Okay, Gabe, every year you come on,
you bring the energy, you bring the juice,
you bring the fashion, you bring the jacket,
you bring the flair, if you will,
but you also try to bring-
We bring the rage.
Oh yeah, and we try-
Virgin Cajun style.
Okay, I like that, especially with a little guide up here you also
try to bring us some winners and in years past you gave us first touchdown
score over the junior plus 750 you've hit a couple winners for us in the past
today what do you have for the big game and what are you thinking about whatever
year two days out well you remember a couple years ago when these two two two
teams played who scored the first touchdown
Jalen hurts. Yeah, and I'm still upset that I didn't take it two years ago. I know sake one listen sake one Barkley I think it's gonna get to the end zone
But I think that Jalen hurts will be the first touchdown score of this game
But if you're taking someone on Kansas City, I think we go with Kareem hunt at plus 800
Oh running back Kareem hunt one thing about the Kansas City Chief touchdown props here, guys, normally the team
that's favored, it's a shorter price.
You're getting big numbers.
If you think somebody on Kansas City is going to score first, you're getting a nice price
for it.
Xavier Worthy is 10 to 1.
Travis Kelsey is like 8 to 1.
Kareem Hunt is like 8 to 1.
So I'm going to go with Jalen Hurch.
You're getting like plus 600 range.
But let's go with a little bit on Kareem Hunt as well, Pat.
Plus 800, baby.
Okay.
So that's first scores.
Is there anything for first possession?
Like I believe there is first completion, first reception.
Who would that be?
I'm not getting too gimmicky.
Okay, I like that.
I like that.
Okay.
Let's get to the meat and potatoes. I don't care what color Taylor Swift's socks are, I like that. I like that. Okay. No, I'm sticking to the meat. Let's get to the meat and potatoes.
I don't care what color Taylor Swift's socks are
or anything like that.
She's not gonna wear socks, obviously.
She's probably gonna wear flats.
Incredible heels.
Heels, I would assume.
Or what color are these boots, maybe?
Ooh, yeah, red boots.
No gimmicks, but let's keep it simple.
I think the Philadelphia Eagles are gonna win
this football game.
Oh!
Because of Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley on the ground.
I think it's going to be a punishing one to attack.
We saw Joe Mixon had success against Kansas City.
We saw C.J. Stroud had success.
C.J. Stroud doesn't really like to run the football that much.
He took off. This is a playoffs, guys.
You know better than anybody.
Hell, we see, you know, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning
will run into playoffs, right?
You got a Super Bowl on the line.
Jalen's not going to hold back. I think 37 and a Super Bowl on the line. Jalen's not gonna hold back.
I think 37 and a half yards, guys,
for Jalen Hurts is too light.
And you know what, he's gone over this number
in eight of his last 11 games,
including the game he got hurt in,
even against Washington.
Yeah, when Kenny Pickett came in.
And you know he's gonna take off in this game.
I also think Mahomes gonna go over his numbers.
Getting up there 29 and a half right now.
I think we all know Mahomes, sneaky, you you know that's smart. He's gonna get the first
down when he needs it. I think both quarterbacks are gonna go over their rush yards. And I'm
not scared of Saquon Barkley at over 110, 112.5.
That's a high number.
It is.
Super Bowl.
Yeah it is. But all he's been doing is crushing this number right on a weekly basis. You can't
stop him. Listen guys, we saw the Buffalo Bills ran for 73 yards in the third quarter alone against Kansas
City. For whatever reason, Joe Brady stopped running the ball in the fourth quarter.
Damn, damn.
I think you can have success. The only gimmicky prop, and this isn't a gimmicky one.
Okay, we like you. I had a kind of gimmicky though.
No, no, let's sort of...
A little gimmicky.
A little bit. A little bit gimmicky.
No, this is for the crew here. This is for the defensive boys. Over 42 and a half made Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let, no, you know exactly. Eagles are going to run the ball. That's how we afford those nice cowboy hats. That's right.
And boats.
You know what I'm talking about?
No, basically.
I didn't know you'd go in there.
Saquon Barkley is going to touch the ball like what, 25 times, 23 times?
Jalen Hurts is probably going to rush the ball another six, seven, eight times.
I think the Eagles are going to win the battle the time of possession.
I think they're just going to wear them out, run the ball down their throat all night long.
And for the record, Kansas City had like 45 tackles.
Okay yeah that's what I'm saying we need some comps.
So yeah it's sort of in those.
Of those 42 and a half of those two players?
In that.
No.
All together.
Total defense.
Yeah total defense.
This is a new bit I'm worried.
Yeah so.
Gimmicky, not gimmicky.
I don't look like an accountant but I actually am one so I'll tell you.
Get out of town.
Not in numbers.
No way. I got books.'t number one. No way.
I got books.
I got books.
No way.
I'm lying.
I'm lying a little bit here, but the Eagles ran 66 plays in their last game.
Okay.
All right, so out of the 60 play, how many times are they going to go out of bounds?
Does that not count as a tackle?
That's not a tackle, right?
So that's the only thing that can beat us.
That player gets a tackle though.
That player gets a tackle if they're in the close.
Let's say no one touches Barkley and just runs out of bounds.
It's not, you know, I lost a player without a tackle
So it's like half tackle assisted tackles tackles all combined because I think the Philadelphia Eagles are gonna run a lot of place
Yeah, and I also think I don't think they're gonna run wild
There's gonna be times in a game where the the Chiefs defense will stuff them a bit, right?
So I'm expecting a lot of plays run 60 65 plays
You know for for the
offense I love everything about that tone has a question for you Gabe yeah I
do on that basis I I kind of like Drew Drew Drew tranquil sorry he is plus 750
to be the leading tackler in the game he's the Chiefs leading tackler in the
playoffs how do you feel about that that's a good bet you're getting a nice
number it's good good gobbler gobbler that's that like I about that? That's a good bet. You're getting a nice number Good goblin. That's that like I said, that's that's why he is who he is
The favorite is favorite is Zach bond and then it's Nick Bolton and Drew tranquil. I believe his fourth
Shortest odds to be the top tackler in the game. So that's why I went with that one Xavier worthy
This is another one to get to Xavier worthy Xavier worthy
We'd always a badass and we'd always get a haunt the Buffalo Bills from here to eternity.
Who would've saw that coming, all right?
Buffalo Bills fan, go here.
Yeah, congratulations to Josh.
Fucking Reid.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, it's a great job, but let's hand it to them.
And I've said this before, the Kansas City Chiefs,
the building, if somebody's breaking into
the Kansas City Chiefs practice facility
and you see the robbers leaving,
I wouldn't call the cops.
I'd be like, listen, they're on their their own if you're the Buffalo Bills you to help
them out to this point in time. Oh you're talking about trading. Yeah like really at what point in time you
learn so I knew the Xavier worthy was gonna score the touchdown against the
Bills he did. Of course. And here we go again I think he's gonna score a
touchdown to the Super Bowl guys I like Xavier worthy to get into the end zone
for the Kansas City Chiefs like plus 155 plus 160 right now but I like Xavier worthy to get into the end zone for the Kansas City Chiefs like plus 155 plus 160 Right now, but I like Xavier worthy under five and a half receptions
Oh, I don't think he's gonna catch six balls in this game
He's gonna catch four or five and he's gonna get a couple of carries and Xavier worthy's rushing yard prop
It's five and a half yards. Yeah slow. All right, don't tell me don't tell me can't pick that up You know what I mean? Like we're going over five and a half yards. Yeah, slow. All right? Don't tell me you can't pick that up.
You know what I mean?
Like, we're going over five and a half.
Yeah, definitely.
I also like Saquon Barkley over 14 and a half receiving yards.
That could happen on one little bubble screen.
Yeah, that's Saquon Barkley.
Football 32 and a half yards is the average touchdown score for him.
Go ahead, D-Buck.
Speaking of Saquon and your Bills fans, so congratulations on Josh Allen winning the
MVP.
Who do you like?
I didn't get a cut of the bonus, man, so it's all good.
Yeah, it was a big bonus.
Love that.
But what's your best bet for Super Bowl MVP going into the game?
Super Bowl MVP, when it's all said and done,
I think it's going to be Saquon Barkley.
I think Saquon Barkley, I've got a final score for you guys
from the back numbers, baby.
And warm Detroit and go back to the casino
And get it done hit these on the roulette possibly. I love the term. I was laughing out loud man when I
Is governor Boston Coler
They're both great cities yeah
As far as the total of this football game the so-called sharps and I hate the term
As far as the total of this football game, the so-called sharps, and I hate the term sharps and squares and all that, but a lot of pro bettors, Pat, earlier, they did bet
on the under of this football game.
I personally don't know why.
I think there's going to be points.
It's a fast track at the Superdome.
There's going to be a couple of trick plays run.
There could be some short fields.
Both teams are very efficient when they have the football.
In all this Kansas City stuff, these guys are roping dope.
You know, like Floyd Mayweather in the first five, six rounds of a fight in the
first weeks of the season, right? They dialed it up on offense right now.
Andy Reid starts to run plays that Yale ran in 1912 that you never saw before.
So, look, they hung 32 on the Bills. I think the Chiefs are going to get to
27 points, three touchdowns and two field goals for the Kansas City Chiefs.
And I've got four touchdowns and one field goal for
the Philadelphia Eagles, which adds up to 3127 birds.
3127 birds, and it pays 150 to one.
150 to one.
That's good, I'll take it.
Incredible odds.
I'll take it.
Done.
It's been an incredible combo.
Gabe, we appreciate you bringing us this juice on Friday.
I always appreciate it.
The tradition continues, my man.
Absolutely, ladies and gentlemen, sports rage.
Who's got a better nuts?
Nobody!
We appreciate you, Gabe.
And maybe Gabe.
Missed command as well.
Know what I mean? I heard that. I didn't know. Thank you, Gabe. I'm a man as well. No, I mean, I don't know. Thank you, Gabe.
Thank you, Gabe.
I felt like there were some real, some real, I felt like there were some winners in there.
Oh, yeah.
I feel like we might have some winners in there.
I'll take 31-27.
Sweet Jack.
You have to.
I'm betting it.
Great, Jack.
Thank you, Gabe.
I'll tell you what, if that hits, Gabe, Gabe. Gabe should be on cloud 100.
He's the goat if it hits.
All of his things just so much.
That's how you know he lives and sleeps and eats gambling.
Yes he does.
Always looking for an angle.
Always looking for an angle.
He sold me on that tackle.
42 and 1 half tackles.
Normally you tackle with about 45.
Couple guys right out of bounds.
I'm losing a play.
I'm losing a play, so I need that on that whole thing. The little gimmicky not to gimmicky
tones to tranquil as the leading tackler on the defense. Everyone thinks he's going to
be on the field with a running team. It feels like tranquil is a great bet. All right, let's
get to it.
Boys. We've been waffling and waffling. We have.
We've taken casino visits and lost our ass and come back.
We've done this show.
We've talked to experts.
Yeah.
People that know it inside and out.
Big old brains.
And we've gone to dinners and we've gone to casinos, lost our ass, patio.
Talk about the good old days.
Oh yeah. Yeah. We're in them. We're in them right now.
And do a show. Talk to more experts. Yep. Waffle, waffle, waffle, waffle, waffle. We've been
flip-flopping all of us. I think if everybody's been telling the truth. Yes. None of us have had
any conviction on who's going to win this Super Bowl, which is exactly how it's supposed to be,
I think. The AFC is best, taking on the NF NFC's best and nobody has a fucking clue. That's great news.
There's been people on TV that have made picks in back-to-back days and they picked both teams.
Yep. Can't blame them.
Hey, who's gonna win? Eagles. They're gonna bully them.
Then they have to go and lay down at night. Uh-huh.
And they have to read through their mentions. And they have to see everybody say,
oh, okay, so Patrick Mahomes isn't even playing in this game and you wake up you're like, Patrick Mahomes is playing. Chiefs are gonna win
That's what they do. You pick the Chiefs the next day
Everybody's like that. Basically a pick-em on ESPN bet minus 110 for both parties on the money line
That being said, let's make our picks. It will be a pick-em. The one point does not matter to wrap this thing up
It will be a pick them the one point does not matter to wrap this thing up
We'll start with you a Q Shipley host of in the trenches handed out a trenchy award to the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line Yeah for being the best offensive line in the game a Q Shipley. Who do you pick? How do you pick?
Well, see there's been no waffling here. I have been fully convicted
I have unwavered on the Philadelphia Eagles
offensive line.
I've wavered a little bit on one guy,
but I've never wavered on the Philadelphia Eagles
offensive line.
Because of that, they're going to win.
They are going to win.
And I think they're going to win exactly the way
that Gabe just said it.
They're going to get the ball, and they're going to pound it.
Saquon's going to run it.
Offensive line, they're all back.
The center's back, the guard back.
They got a fully healthy group.
How healthy? No idea.
It's a Super Bowl.
We use everything you got.
Eagles will win this game.
Okay, there for a bit, you did question Vinny.
Yeah, he did, yeah.
Because you said you never wavered.
No, you did.
You had them as the sixth best team
in the divisional round when there was eight teams.
Had the Rams above them.
But where did I have that offensive line that same week?
Number one, but you said they can't win the game.
Well that changed after I saw that offensive line win the game.
OK, yeah.
Your thoughts have evolved ever since.
Wait a minute, this group is legendary.
Is there a chance that they go down in conversation?
They could have had the rushing title.
Could have.
I mean, everybody, that would have been a big game from Saquon
and from them.
But they could have had it. They are by far the reason why they are winning. The stats say both
yards before contact for Saquon Barkley and the amount of rushes versus the amount of passes that
the offense has done as a whole. They put the team on their back. Will they be in a historic
conversation? Who is in the historic conversation of offensive line? Yeah I think they're going to
be in the top five conversation of all time, I really do.
I think you go back to some of those Steelers offensive lines
in the 70s, they were phenomenal.
I think they put four or five in the Hall of Fame.
They got a bunch of guys on this Eagles team.
Cowboys exactly with Larry Allen.
I mean, they were obviously Dickerson's group.
But when you take a look and now that you have these stats
of how many yards Saquon had before being touched,
it is all on the
offensive line when those stats come out.
How about it?
Congrats to the big boys.
Can they win the big one?
AQ Shipley says yes.
Let's go to one half of the hammer.
Down.
Cowboys, AP tone.
AP, you had your MVP ballot correct.
Yup.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Do you appreciate the fact that people were wondering why you got a vote and then you saw
Everybody else who had a vote and said wait is it?
I'm the problem. Spot your name wrong a
Lot of people
Say how come Tony Diggs is not on this list. That's not my actual name. My name is Anthony
Short Tony short for Anthony. There's people that don't know that. Yes, first see that's the problem
There's some places that have zero know that. Yes. See that's the problem. There's some
places that have zero Italians. Yeah. Exactly. Well not a problem but let's see what you mean.
Spellin'. I can't hurt it. Please, please. Anthony you did great with your AP votes. You represented
this program very well. We're proud of you. Thank you. Thank you for the opportunity. Thank you for doing all the work.
I did waffle, OK? Early in the week was always the Eagles for me,
just because on paper, statistically, the matchups,
I thought they were the better team and the better matchup.
Today, I waffled a bit.
In my head, you're not going to bet against Patrick Mahomes,
are you?
But I am.
I'm going to stick with my prediction early in the week and my gut early in my head. I you're not going to you're not going to bet against Patrick Mahomes are you. But I am I'm going to stick
with my my prediction early in
the week and my gut early in the
week and I am going to go with
the Philadelphia Eagles.
OK.
Oh line D line Howie.
Listen Oh line D line born and
raised in a steel town built on
running game and defense.
You kind of always tend to lean
that way and that's what I'm
going to do.
OK.
So a Kish taking the offensive
line Anthony DeGioio taking the Eagles in the powerful ball.
Let's go to the talk table.
You two are wearing titles.
Have been all damn day.
Ty, we'll start with you.
Who are you picking?
And is it the Kansas City Chiefs?
Because you've been wearing that all day.
Well, maybe.
But listen, I love Sirianni more than just about any coach
in the league.
I feel like me and him have, we're a bit simpatico, you know?
Or we've become that way a little bit.
Yeah, because it feels like you're
maybe speaking for him sometimes.
Maybe sometimes, yeah.
Listen, Cooper Jean, you know, an Iowa Hawkeye
starting in the Super Bowl.
You shit me his rookie year.
His birthday is on Super Bowl Sunday. Sa rookie year his birthday is on Super Bowl Sunday
Saquon's birthday. Oh, I'm Super Bowl Sunday. I want the Eagles to win. I really do. I don't think they're going to change
It's been the same thing. I started on their birthday on their birthdays. I know
I just
My homes just doesn't really lose these games
I think the Eagles are made have to win by like 10, 13 points.
And we talked about that yesterday.
Like it doesn't matter if the Chiefs get down 13 points.
Hell, it doesn't matter if they get down 20 points.
Like there's a good chance that Mahomes is just gonna
will him to a victory.
I think he's gonna do it again.
But I would love to see the Eagles win.
I just don't think they're going to.
So you've had the same thoughts as we all have,
but you've actually decided to waffle all the way over
Yes, dig said he thought about that this morning and he was like, no, I'm not going I'm gonna stick with it
You had that thought this morning. You're like, yeah what? Yeah, that's mom's. Yeah, that's Patrick Mahomes. There's a reason
He's already in the goat conversation exactly. Yeah
Boston Connor over there on the talk table. You have the Philadelphia Eagles title. You can get a WWE shop calm beautiful
It's been holding you up you say it has truly. Is there a reason you're wearing it? over there on the talk table. You have the Philadelphia Eagles title. You can get it www.shop.com. Beautiful.
It's been holding you up you say.
It has, truly.
Is there a reason you're wearing it?
No, there isn't.
Actually, I woke up this morning and I said,
I could see the Eagles crying.
I could see the red and white confetti.
Sirianni.
You can see Mahomes driving down the field,
down by two, getting all the way down to the goal line,
kneeling it out a couple of times, get that clock down to five kick a field
goal game over three Pete the merch is everywhere Pat Riley makes a billion
dollars I could see that in my brain but then I could also see you know my
Philly bloodline you know my mother's from Philly okay I got Philly blood
in these veins. And then I think about how could I not acknowledge Philadelphia and what they've done this year
in Jalen Hurts, in that old line, in Ciarani.
You know I watched the Stars Born on Sunday a week ago.
How was it?
Bradley Cooper.
So good.
He's the front man.
And as I'm kind of just looking to Sunday, I see Bradley Cooper slinging Philly cheesesteaks
on that field to everybody, every player,
who just dumped Gatorade on to coach Nick Sirianni,
who isn't a big dumb dipshit, who's a genius,
who's kind of the future.
This great man right there.
Serving cheesesteaks right now out of a food truck
here in Louisiana.
He's dealing him.
You know what that brings? Good mojo. You know what good mojo brings. What's that? Super Bowl's
So I'm riding with the Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles are gonna win. I really do I think three peats are
Incredible, but I don't think they're meant to happen. I truly don't I think this is finally Phillies year
And you know to what Drew Brees said we did hear a lot from a lot of people.
Drew Brees yesterday said,
Philly's the most desperate team.
And I love a good desperation.
Hungry dog.
Hungry dogs.
Vick Fangio.
We talked about how long he's been in the game.
No Super Bowls.
Like, you know, he's gonna have something up his sleeve.
Spags and Reed for sure.
But you know, Fangio is not walking into the Superbowl, never be in there, never winning
it just like, yeah, let's just run everything that we've been doing.
I think he's going to mix it up.
I think it's going to be a great game, but the Eagles went, okay.
So a title bounce were an indicator earlier.
Happy to see a way to represent boys.
ELGS.
Yes.
I might've just got swayed another time.
Nine year NFL vet. Massive football brain.
Looks like he's not 100% sure where he's headed yet either.
Ladies and gentlemen, host of everything, DB.
Good, DB, D, Darius J. Mother, how do you like the game?
Woof.
To turn out?
Been waffling.
Been waffling all week long.
You know, cause everybody's been saying it all week long.
You look at the rosters, Eagles got the better roster.
There's no doubt about it.
It got more talent.
They got more money spent on the rosters, well constructed.
But then you're like, I can't bet against Patrick Mahomes
in the Super Bowl.
He always gets it done.
You think about the triangle you mentioned,
Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Spags.
They always get it done in the biggest moments.
And history's, you know, it was right on the line,
three peak, they are the villains.
But that being said, when you root for four teams,
and one of them make it,
Jaylin Hurst doesn't turn the ball over.
Matty P talked about it earlier.
We talked about it here from a bunch of people.
Matty P has been on this stage in this moment
for a bunch of times.
Number one defense, number one rushing attack
with the quarterback that doesn the turning ball over.
I think it's their time, Philly, they get it done.
Fly Eagles, fly.
Wow.
E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles.
Four out of five votes thus far on this particular stage.
Don't feel great about that.
No, I mean it honestly.
Five out of six if you count Gabe Morenci who gave his pick.
AJ Hawks, Super Bowl champion, all time leading tackler
for the Green Bay Packers.
Have you been swayed by anybody on the stage thus far
and which way are you leaning?
Well, I'm kind of, I've been swayed all week.
I absolutely have.
Every single day I've thought different things,
but since I have sat up here,
I'd say the last 12 minutes, I'm 100% sold.
Okay, that's all you need. That's all I need. The last 12 minutes, I'm 100% sold. Okay, that's all you need.
That's all I need.
The last 12, I'm like Bill McComas when someone's attacking his blackjack skills.
Like, he's gonna die on that.
It's a hill he's willing to die on.
It's how he plays blackjack, right?
Yes, I agree.
That's how strong I feel about my field.
He was actually starting to get heated at us for calling out what was happening in front
of his hand.
Smart move.
Turn it on.
Yeah, he was trying to turn on us
But too many people were like nah, this is this pretty asinine dude what you're doing here, and that's but it made him a believer
Being persecuted by you guys makes me more firm in my beliefs
Okay, that the Philadelphia Eagles win this game 31 24 Wow
We didn't persecute you. I didn't see that coming. I felt it. I felt it. I thought you were Chiefs the whole time.
I really did.
I might have been.
Last 12 minutes.
Eagles.
Eagles.
Great chance we end up with a patch of a home's real Chiefs.
Right?
Yeah.
Got one.
I mean, we're just giving them more motivation.
Gumpy, who do you got?
Love the Chiefs.
OK, we got two.
OK.
Bobby O'Kerry, he's over there.
That's a good sign.
Good to see you, Bobby.
Bobby.
Bobby, good to see you, Bobby.
He's a big boy, Bobby.
Yeah.
Keep him moving, Bobby.
Who's Jeff Landry picking
He's the ask him on Sunday morning. He said yeah, he still doesn't know I've been watching in the box. It's my state
My wife got two tickets. She's lucky enough to bring me
No, I'm lucky enough. Yes. Yeah the way you say that really make it look bad. Yeah, true
Or the other way
Apologies governor man, you know 12 minutes you've been locked in. I'm not joking
You would love would you like to change your pick? No stick with what anybody like to change their pick? I'm thinking about it
I'm not but I'm not no, I can't locked in you gotta acknowledge your bloodline. I got my bloodline on the line. I
Think Philadelphia Eagles Wow
I was hard coming out of my mouth. I don't like it one bit bad chiefs are still the chiefs ain't they yeah
History
Three Pete is what they said immediately after the last I'm taking the chiefs get the fuck out of you
What was I thinking?
It's hard to get over it is what was I thinking right there?
Everyone's getting swept up in the Philly fever and I get it. I mean we had the Eagles swoop
Yeah, well the Eagles super fan full-time seven years Billy sports guy really sports guy. We had him over here
He's full-time now for seven years
You think you know that's not gonna sweep you up a little bit. Be like, hey, we love this team.
If I had Siri on the show, I mean, we had, you know, guys.
Love the way they're built. Love it.
Love everything.
Jalen Carter's playing 99% of the snaps.
He's a D lineman.
Zach Ballen.
Howie Roseman yesterday. So incredibly kind.
Great guy.
The way they built the team.
How he seemed loose.
He did, didn't he?
Just walking down the French Quarter.
Real comfy.
Not a worry in the world. Strong. I mean't he? Just walking down the French Quarter. Real comfy. Jey's a lot of worry in the
world.
Strong.
Yeah.
He came in real strong with the
hand.
Fired up.
It was a it was a full on one
up.
One of those.
And I saw his Jey's.
I was like, damn, really nice
shoes out of you out here.
And he introduced me to his
family.
Great guy.
Great guy.
Love Sirion.
He came on the program.
Love the offensive line.
Yeah.
How about that D line?
How about a Philly D line? Vic Fangio is a dog too. He needs one, doesn't he? Yeah. How about that D line? How about a fully D line?
Vic Fangio is a dog too.
He needs one doesn't he?
Yes he does.
Yes he does.
I'm taking the Eagles.
Oh.
How about the Eagles?
Okay.
We can cut whichever one.
Sit with that for a moment.
Yeah.
Bathe in it a little bit.
Yeah.
Have a little.
Anybody else like Ginger Pick?
Are you locked in?
Kind of.
You're locked in?
Absolutely.
You're locked in?
My team.
Played for the Eagles.
I have to.
I'm staying with the Chiefs.
Cool.
Colgate are interesting.
Not as good as the World Cup. Colgate is interesting. Colgate interesting. Not as good as Wolfgate. Colgate is interesting.
There's nothing like a fresh one.
Colgate is a cold bloody.
We gotta go.
I gotta leave too here.
Yeah you do.
Chiefs are still the chiefs.
Day three Pete.
All right.
Be a friend, tell a friend something nice.
It might change their life.
I really like St. Paul.
Glasses.
Oh my god. Haven chance. Oh my God.
Haven't seen fake Andy Reid. That's true.
I ain't got the good thing.
Give me the Chiefs.
You thought I should go the other way?
I think, well.
He's not confident he's not here.
Fake Andy Reid.
I'm worried.
Has he seen him every year?
They've won.
I'm worried.
We definitely saw him bopping around every day the last couple years.
Same with the Wolf. A lot of bopping. Yeah. The Wolf got... The Wolf's locked worried now. He saw him bopping around every day last couple years Say the wolf a lot of bopping. Yeah
The wolf got the wolf locked up now. They won't let him out. He has been locked up hadn't he? Yeah
Not like not like market a tiger. No
Happy
free tiger
Chiefs to steal the chiefs
I'm sorry, Tiger.
Connery. Chiefs are still the chiefs.
Ooh.
God, how though?
How do they win it?
Go figure it out.
What color is your shirt?
Green, I know, yeah, I was looking around.
Green, green, green, green.
Oh.
There's been a lot of green here.
He's got a Philadelphia thing that says
build a wall around Philadelphia.
What the hell?
No, it's not a compliment to Philly.
That's right, but at least it's got Pennsylvania reference on it.
That was good.
He literally said, build a wall around Philly to make a better Pennsylvania.
It's a Pittsburgh reference.
So that was where he stands on Texas, though.
Yeah.
Well, whoa.
I'm surprised he didn't wear his ice jacket today.
Let's get out of here. Thank you everybody that was part of setting this up. Mystic Scenic Studios,
I believe is the company that built this set. Thank you so much for your incredible work.
This looks incredibly authentic and awesome and everything worked to Barcode and ESPN
crew that wired this whole thing, set this thing up. Thank you so much. It looks amazing
to the NFL people that have this radio row. Thank you for the opportunity for letting us be here. To the people that stand out here,
thank you so much. I really appreciate you guys. It's incredibly awkward, but we do appreciate
getting a chance to see you guys. Josh Allen is MVP. His sign says that it's accurate.
That's a good sign. It's an accurate sign. Looks like it was made by hand too, so that's
maximum effort, like the work ethic of the sign. Everything good about the sign there. And yeah, let's enjoy the Super
Bowl boys. Okay. All year. A lot of Eagles fans on the set. A couple of us still believers
in the Chiefs. That's right. Maybe we look like fools on Monday. Maybe. Or maybe it's Oh no. Could be.
Maybe I think. Nope, same with the Chiefs.
This one doesn't. It's cuz you want the Eagles to win. Like I want the Eagles to win. I just, I just, it's the Chiefs. Yeah, so what happens if the Eagles win then the Chiefs don't have the refs on their side to win every game or how's this work?
How's that conversation go? No, they still do.
Hey, just to get to the Super Bowl.
People will cherry pick.
They're trying to give it to them.
Oh, they're trying to give it to them.
Who's saying that whole thing?
Had to beat the ref's energy.
What is the over-under on calls?
Beat the champ, you got to knock them out.
You do. You do.
Humans are out there making the calls.
I believe, uh, what's the, who's the ref?
Torbert. Yeah.
He makes a few calls.
Well, Torbert's got a national,
international stage for an ISO voice
So we're definitely
companies
companies
At least one couple of these I hope not I hope not that's gonna be a few of these companies
lot of
Maybe even one of these
I see maybe even one of these. You think he's going to do one of these?
I think there's going to be one of those.
Zach, one of these.
Illegal shift.
You already brought up your ice jacket.
Straight sideways.
Very stern.
You practice that?
Maybe a couple of these too.
Because you can make these look cool.
Crash Mesh. Defense summer. Yeah, maybe a couple of these to get up couple of these cool. Great. Yeah, trash. Right.
Yeah.
Take that summer.
We do anything cool like index cards.
I mean, sterator.
Oh, not as that might have like a cool Tom Cruise run over
to the replay can Fox is calling it.
Tom's on it, right?
Yep.
He's gonna be great.
Sure.
Definitely.
Burkhardt's gonna be fantastic.
Yeah.
Pereira.
Yeah.
Prayers there. Yeah. Playing Dino. Yep. And. Pereira. Yeah. Pereira's there.
Yeah.

Hopefully.
SZA has been announced.
Hopefully we see.
That ain't happening.
Yeah, he said he's not going to be in attendance.
Shite.
That's what he would say though.
K-Fave, K-Fave.
Absolutely.
So we'll see.
We're going to get a couple surprises forave. Absolutely. So we'll see.
We're going to get a couple of surprises for sure.
Definitely.
Oh, he's due.
Not Drake.
Sure.
I think that's probably a good guess.
I would assume not Drake in the Super Bowl.
But what if it is?
What if it's all?
It's all good.
It's all work.
I don't know if that's that would be pretty wild scene.
It would be cool.
Oh, yeah. Drop the lawsuit on the stage
It's getting dirty out there. Let's enjoy the game boys in the back great work boys. Good work boys
The island Foxy and the lads
Good work boys
Arts get the hell out of here. We'll see for every action Monday. I think it's gonna be a great game great kid pumped

Chiefs still Chiefs. Chiefs still Chiefs. Right we believe that. Yeah. Yeah, I do. Yeah, and that's that's what's awesome If they don't win, guess what? Very happy for Sirianni and all the boys. I am very happy for Sirianni. Yeah, absolutely. That they made it to the Super Bowl
Yeah, be a friend, tell a friend something nice that might change your life. We're in this thing together. Team on me, team on three
