Hello, beautiful people.
And welcome to our humble abode, the Thunderdome.
On this overreaction Monday, October 6th, 2025, this program begins right now.
Football!
It is magical, and we're incredibly lucky that we get a chance to chat about it every single day.
It's a massive overreaction Monday.
We had comebacks in abundance both yesterday, and on Saturday we had absolute chaos in college ball.
Baseball is still happening.
Obviously, the WMBA has its finals.
It's a great day.
to be in the sports world. We'll be covering it all. We have Adam Schaefter joining us in about
15 minutes or so, and the toxic table is here at Boston Connor, who has become a New England
Patriots billboard after a huge night last night. Seems like you're a little bit louder in your
fandom of the Patriots on this particular overreaction Monday than maybe you have been in a while.
Huge, okay, and that's a Drake May. Okay, obviously you got the Drake May mug.
I mean, it's pretty standard. I don't know why we're doing this whole thing. Like, you know,
this is Monday, but I don't know.
What are you guys talking about, you know?
It's just the, I don't think we've seen that mug used.
This one?
Okay, so you guys are just screwing around.
You're trying to do the whole.
This guy doesn't use the May mug every Monday.
Okay, Monday, May mug.
Yeah, we know it's better thing.
On that note, congratulations.
Yeah, big win.
Thank you.
Expected.
That's a huge win.
And you've been a Drake May supporter, even through the very, very rough year of last year.
Every single week, your big takeaway about the Patriots was,
hey, our team stinks.
We really suck.
Drake May is a guy.
Yeah.
Drake May is a guy.
And we'll dive into that in a matter of moments.
Nine-year NFL vet, host of Everything, D.B.,
good, D, bad, D. Dary, Shay Butler's here.
And ladies and gentlemen, joining us on their trip across the country in a bus,
representing Amazon's Thursday night football crew.
That has done a fantastic job since its rollout.
Really, the trailblazers of the new streaming world that professional sports is getting into.
Whenever the NFL decided to dabble with Amazon Prime on Thursday nights,
there's a lot of people that said this is going to be ass.
There's a lot of people that said this is going to be ass.
be terrible. How the hell do I even download
the app and who's going to be the ones talking? Well,
they go and snag Al Michaels and Kirk
Herb Street to call the games. Do you know who they are?
They're pretty fucking good. And then they
put together a pre-show that has a
resume-filled, absolute
legendary cast that only knows the game
a pretty good little moxie.
Oh, yeah. Yes.
Great chemistry up there. Definitely
the best pre-show just because it's not
the same, you know, run-down crap we've seen
for 20 years. And also, we've seen a lot of
other crap he tried to put together.
For their pre-shows.
And very rarely work because they don't, ha, ha, ha, ha.
You know why this one works so well?
Yeah, they do.
Because.
Yeah.
And also, I think it's, they don't love a ball anymore.
Yes.
They don't know ball anymore.
So they all share, you know, what they had in common used to be this love of ball.
They have it.
And the two people joining us right now are in middle of a bus trip from Los Angeles all the way to MetLife.
Because Rams obviously hosted last week and then this upcoming week, we got the Giants hosting the Philadelphia Eagles.
Eagles coming off their first loss, which we was.
certainly talk about what type of team is going to be showing up for the New York Giants.
We had a tough one down in New Orleans.
Ladies and gentlemen, represent Thursday Night Football, Fitz and Whitbitt, baby.
Thank you for having us.
Appreciate it, baby.
17 years.
And then how many for you?
16.
Okay, so quick math, it's 33.
I'm not a Harvard guy.
33 years of NFL experience.
Let's talk about you guys on this Thursday night games, and we were chitchatting
with them a little bit beforehand.
Seems like you guys are a tight-nitch crew.
Did you guys expect to have the amount of success, and did you hit it off immediately
fits with a Thursday night football? We did, but there was three guys that had never done TV when
we first did it. It was me, Witt, and Richard Sherman, which, you know, Sherman's been
auditioning for this thing for his whole career. He was meant to be on TV. He was meant to do it,
but for us knuckleheads, we didn't know. And I think that you hit it on the head. We love each
other and we love football. We love watching it. We love talking about it. And we like to have a
good time, too. Not short of that. I think that's the best part is really, when you leave the game
of football, I think you remember the locker room. And that's the part, the vibe with all the
people you do work with each and every week. We've created that with our crew. From Wednesday
when we get in town to Friday when we leave, there's not a lot of sleep and there's a lot of
hotel bars staying open late. We have a great time just hanging with each other, and that's what we do.
Well, I think that's how you build chemistry. You two phenomenal teammates. So obviously having
good locker room glue guys around is always going to be good. It seems like you guys are
killing it and you are crushing it. And I know you paid attention to what happened yesterday.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to hit the top five storylines coming out of week five Sunday.
regarding yesterday's games is going to be you never know what the fuck's going to happen yeah it's
not just any given sunday but brian McCarthy NFL PR said it's any given fourth quarter now this one
is driven by ram let's put the first 15 minutes on the clock ladies gentlemen let's get started number five
comeback chaos we got some stats here from hembo there have been 16 games this season with a go-ahead
score in the final minute of regulation the most through five weeks of a season since the
1970 merger.
Fitz, Harvard guy.
How many years has it been since 1970?
55 years.
Wow.
That's a long time.
That's a lot of ball.
There have been 10 game-winning field goal with no time left in regulation
the most in the first five weeks since the 1970 merger.
Hey, Fitz, Harvard guy.
How many years is that?
I didn't see the stats.
Since 1970, since 1975.
55.
Oh, that's 25.
We got comeback chaos.
And yesterday certainly contributed to that.
Six of them happened across the board.
18 point deficit, 17 point deficit, 14 point deficit, 11, 10,
and then obviously Minnesota kicked off the entire day
over there in London town with a magical comeback.
Any of these games fits in your eyes really steal the show.
I saw a tweet that you put out and you said that the Cardinals just lost
in the worst possible way of all time or something like that.
I mean, I'm an Arizona guy, so I've been a Cardinals fan for a while.
They're getting ready to go up 28 to 6.
And Di Mercado, we did it again.
We did the drop the ball at the one-yard line.
Why do we need to flip it?
And it happened to Indy last week.
So you think that every team is showing the Indy clip and saying, we don't do this.
We run through the goal line.
He flips it.
Was it really a fumble?
Was it not?
I don't know.
But I sure I'm glad they called it.
I don't know.
I sure am glad they called it.
It feels like it was a potentially touchdown because he's flipping.
in that thing and if it's in the in the fingertips it doesn't matter it's still in his possession
is the tip of the ball breaking the line and why don't we have a camera down the line exactly on
that note to what fit said i think everybody around football and in football said who cares shouldn't
even be that close if you're going to drop the ball before getting in the end zone one week after
a d mitchell did it you don't deserve score touchdown right there now he obviously took his licking
uh coach gaining on the sideline we certainly had his hat sideways at the end up on it he even hit
in the chest at one point.
Like, can't have it.
And then the football gods
blessed the Titans with their first win.
Cam Ward's first win.
Callahan's first win.
I think we should be celebrating that deep.
Absolutely.
Big time drive by Cam Ward
at the end of the game to get it done
through the absolute dot to Calvin.
Really, this play was unbelievable.
Like, this is ridiculous.
Some shit you absolutely now see.
Just how you draw it up.
On the NFL football field.
But yeah, to see Cam Ward
coming down after last week,
coming out what he said.
He's pissed off pretty much,
dropped a quarter of the season already
and formed the third.
throw this dot to his big-time receiver and then put his team in a position to win the
game. Big time moment for his team and for this young quarterback.
Good for football yesterday. Come back.
Hey, good for Red Zone channel. We're all still watching.
That's my team.
Three of my teams are on that list.
Yeah, in a good way.
No.
Oh, no.
Boom, chalmers.
Boom, boom, boom, boom.
Just getting deep down out there.
But I will say, Scott Hanson did a great job on that thing.
And it was a good juggle.
because a lot of those games were absolute shite.
Obviously, you have 18-point comeback, 17-point comeback, 14-point comeback,
that late in the game, you think to yourself,
this slate of game is kind of shit here,
just like we said it was.
We thought this was a bad slate.
Turns out it was blowouts across the board,
and then all of a sudden we had magic there
in the witch and the golden hour out there.
And it's beautiful.
The NFL certainly needs that.
Let's go to number four headline out of the week.
Jetson Bengals.
So complete
ass football teams
So we'll go straight to the Amazon
boys here
I'm watching the same shit you are
We'll start with you with the Bengals
I mean score says it's a little bit closer
Because Jamar Chase did his thing
He walked in backwards actually at one point
Yesterday scoring a touchdown he's still his thing
Going into the season though we thought to ourselves
Is that the right way to build a team
And we're in Super Bowl with the way they're spending the money
then the stark quarterback gets hurt with the way you're building that team.
They've looked like ass.
Are they complete ass or just somewhat ass with, speaking for the Cincinnati Bengals team?
I'm going to go somewhat ass just because they don't have Joe Burroughs.
That's fair.
But I will say this.
You could go watch the last three plays of the game against the Cleveland Browns
and four-minute offense where they're trying to secure the game.
Those three snaps are maybe the worst three snaps I've ever seen a physical football
from an offensive line of trying to win out a game.
The entire offensive line is moving backwards.
those three snaps and the running back's getting hit as he's taking handoffs.
That told me that if we don't have Joe Burrow and we got to rely on running the football,
we got a lot of freaking issues.
And I think that's what you see.
Is this all on Jake Browning to do something?
And I don't think Jake Browning's built for that.
Ty Schmidt, Detroit Lions' worst team possible to have to play against in the situation that the Bengals were in, especially Gary Owen.
Yeah.
O'J.
We told him on Friday.
Hey, this is a bad one for you to be ruling the jungle, we thought.
Kind of an expected outcome here with the Lions thrashing the Bengals.
Yeah, without a done.
I think you actually have to give the Lions credit because if they would have wanted to,
they could have won 50-0, you know, 65-0-0, could have beat them by 100.
It's just tough.
I mean, we talked about this last week.
This should serve as the, you know, the final warning.
Get the Bengals off Thanksgiving.
We can't do it.
We can't do it.
Remind them, remind them.
Is that you guys?
Yeah, can't do it.
Yeah.
Is that you guys?
No.
No, not us.
Okay.
Run off the ladder.
Get them off Thanksgiving.
If it was, then we would pass this cross on to you to bear, okay?
Tom Palacero, three games without Joe Burrow, the Bengals have now been outscored 104 to 16.
Now, they started having more, though, at the end of that game.
I mean, there was a lot of piling on this particular Bengals team.
And we'd like to let the who day nation know that, like, you guys are okay, man.
You guys spend the money in the right spots.
That's right.
These are things you can recover from.
What are you laughing?
These guys.
What are you talking about, dude?
You know, I would like to see him spend it in the offensive line room.
That's where I think they should spend a little more money.
Hey, they have tried, though.
We had a graphic last week about them drafting and spending money, and it's just for some reason.
They've been terrible at it.
That's the problem.
So that is the thing.
You get the wrong guys, wrong group.
What is it?
Since 2011 that they've drafted an offensive lineman and he's signed a second contract.
I want you to think about that.
14 years since they've drafted an O. Lyman and he's actually signed a second contract.
Is it scheme building evaluation?
I think it's evaluation.
If you look at it, I'm going to throw myself in the mix.
2011, since they drafted a guy and he re-signed a contract, and they've let Kevin Zightler and myself walk in free agency.
So if you can't draft.
an offensive lineman, and then you've let guys leave who continue to go elsewhere and win,
you clearly have an evaluation problem of the priority of the position.
You struck a nerve right there, Pat.
I mean, I'm just saying.
Hey, journalism, bro.
That's real good.
That's good job.
Thank, I'm excited to do that.
And then let's go to the other team that people were saying.
Oh, no.
That's the whole caboose, brother.
That's the whole...
Yeah, the whole thing.
Obviously, the Dallas Cowboys have a big-time day, and we're certainly happy for DAC without a lot of guys playing which D-Butt's going to hit here in a few
moments, I think, having a huge win. But on the flip side, the tweet was floating around
yesterday and the stat was floating around because obviously it's a big one. This Jets team
under Aaron Glenn has no turnovers. So he's like defensive mashman. We got no we got no
turnovers here. We got dogs all across the board on the defensive side. And then obviously
offensively, I think it was very impressive with Justin Fields was able to do with that
football off that guy's face. Yeah. And I hate that sky cam. We watch that a lot this morning.
We'll certainly buy into that a little bit. What a throw. But let's talk about Detroit Lions with
MCDC. What were you guys that first year, Foxy? Started out 0 and 10. Oh, and then they get a
big time. Okay, so like instituting that particular culture obviously took a little bit of time.
I think there was even conversations about this guy's lost the locker room. This guy's not
going to be able to do it. And then obviously they find their stride and they go. With the New York Jets,
the market, everything like that. Is it going to be possible for Aaron Glenn to have the
patience or for people to hold on for them to develop the culture? What are you seeing from them?
Yeah, it's a tough place to play. It's a tough place to not win in. They're the only team that
hasn't won in the NFL this year, but I think there is some patience and some grace for him this
year. They've seen this as a rebuild. I mean, if you'd go back to the first game, they took
the Steelers down to the wire, then we've got him doing this deal against the bucks. I mean,
how quickly we forget, with under two minutes left, they were beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
two weeks ago. So I think this team, they're going to challenge teams this year. Obviously,
they're not going to go to the playoffs, but this is a huge culture-setting year for Aaron Glenn,
and he's got to get it going. So Connor, actually, big believer, and I don't know if he's doing that to
reverse jinks, but you actually are a believer, even after what we saw yesterday.
Yeah, for shoot a believer, like, especially when you look at the players from the
lions that got much, much better in his defense.
Like, I just don't understand why, like, what's going on with Soss Garner.
Like, that's my question of D. But Soss Garner is rookie years, all pro, all world,
unbelievable. And it's just been like this weird kind of, I'm not going to say falloff
because he's still a great player. But when, what is it, DJ Reeder?
DJ Reader, he goes to Detroit in the offseason. And now,
you know sauce gardener doesn't have a counterpart on the other side that can cover a guy you know
without question and he's kind of getting abused in five straight games the fact that they have no
turnovers like dude at least grab an interception and i'm not saying it's easy like that's
that's me simplifying as a fat idiot yes but i'm saying like hey dude like somebody's got to make a play
right you're the one that's getting paid 120 million dollars just got to be you yeah for sure you
and that's never really been his game since coming into the nfl he's just kind of been one of those
lockdown corners, a bunch of bat downs.
That's one of the things you look at and start it's like, hey, I want some more ball production.
But through five games, I mean, you would think something would accidentally happen.
A bad ball line of scrimming, a tip, or overthrow something at this point.
So it's just tough.
Some of it's some self-inflicted negatives, as Chuck Pagano will call the sins, a lot of penalties, a lot of sloppy football.
Justin Fields has kind of looked good, which is weird.
They got a lot of things to figure out.
I just hope they do have some patience to give Aaron Glenn that time because we know we are not in the
in the environment where you're giving coaches, you know, a long leash at this point.
Well, and the other thing, too, is, like, we talk about how many offensive linemen went in the
first round this year. Will Campbell, as a Patriots fan, I'll say, you know, he's doing the best.
Bingo, bingo, bingo.
Oh, yeah, but he's got shore off.
From Monroe, Louisiana, baby, from Monroe, Louisiana, 3-18, baby.
Is that what you're from as well?
We are.
So you guys have small arms there, or what is the thing?
There's no small arms here.
But, no, we have different problems.
Different problems, but he's a hell of a football player, and he's going to be, I called him
to Taylor, the Taylor-Lawan of Rable in Tennessee.
that was his tone setter. That's who Will Campbell's going to be for this team.
Why do they make such a big deal on the arm length? Is that a thing?
I think it is a thing in the sense of you need, I always call it your fallback.
When you think of playing DB, you play offensive tackle, what is it that I'm going to have moments where I would get out of control or I've got to be able to survive a down?
What is it that I fall back on? Is it my arm link is my feet? Do I have my feet? Do I have really great feet? Do you have really great anchor?
What are those things? So one of those for an offensive lineman, you've got to think about pushing guys around the edge is your ability to extend and get a guy around the depth of the quarterback.
So length goes into that a bunch.
And so that would really what their long arms comes from.
And then you get long arm bull rushes, stuff like that.
You need length.
And so I think for Will, he has tremendous feet, a great anchor, and he's a powerful kid.
He can make up for not having the longer arm.
Got it.
So it's like a long snapper in my world.
You either got to be like perfect snapper and blocker or you've got to be a really good cover guy.
There you go.
It's got to be one of the...
I need a trait.
What's my trait?
It's the Aussie.
Ah!
Absolutely.
But his snaps, I think he would even say, like compared to other guys.
He was a tackler.
bingo he is a coverage guy he's a weapon going down the field for me okay i'm trying to get hang time
i would like my snapper to be like a just jugs machine breadbasket every time give me a and you
don't even need to cover but on that note that's literally how they're judge you're saying offense
alignment same exact thing back to your point though there's a lot of people that were like will's not
the guy yeah not the guy because of literally an inch i think is what people were saying but i think most
people with a brain like knew that wasn't a real thing and to your point like you know i appreciate
he's the Taylor Luan of this variable team
when it comes to comparisons we don't really do like any
Titans players in New England because they've sucked
forever. He's more of like the wit of
New England because LSU, okay
but he got real
You ever seen Fitz in a Tennessee Titans jersey?
We'll talk about it later. But no, just
to wrap up to, just to wrap the Jets real
quick, Arm and Memboe. Like it's not as if
they drafted bad players, like Armand Membu
has been arguably the best rookie
you know, offensive linemen,
so I don't know what that was going on. Their defense shouldn't be
this shitty though. The other part, tough part about the
Jets is they have to face Drake May twice a year.
That's a good point. That's a good point.
I agree with you, Fitz. And if we want to really go through it, I wanted to thank you
because I personally believe the only reason Drake May is this good is because he spent
a month or two with Josh Allen over the summer. And like you can say like Vrabel and
I definitely want to talk about Vrabble. But like I don't think it's that simple as
McDaniel comes in and or McDaniels comes in and does well. I think it's kind of
Josh Allen is the one who birthed this beast if you will in New England. And I think you're
the one that kind of helped birth that beast in Buffalo.
You're the granddaddy!
That's just what I think.
Hey, he's the grandfather.
Exactly. He's the father's father's father.
Yeah, May's father's, Josh Allen and May's father's father's, right?
That's great news. Look what you're doing. He's a great player.
Great player. Hey, we'll get to Drake May, certainly we have to, but we're saying, uh,
Jets and Bengals, uh, kind of complete ass.
Some would say that's what we're saying. I think Jets less ass.
Current ass.
done the bank.
Yes.
I'm like, never think it just happened right there.
Let's go number three, a team that is not ass at all.
The last play, boys.
These guys won their last two games, literally on the last play.
They have four wins on the season, five weeks, all of them comebacks.
This team is always in it.
Baker Mayfield's mentality has seemingly oozed and radiated through the entire locker room.
Now, granted, they've already had a good, you know, Pillar Levanti, David,
getting a big-time pick.
Shout out to him, because first week he dropped the pick that Vita Vaya would have caught
right behind him. Vita Vaya has been burying him ever since then. We learned that on our show
when Coach B.A. actually talks shit to Levanti David as well for dropping a pick in week one.
Instead, he makes a diving play. Unbelievable catch here out of nowhere. How you do and keep it
moving. And it's not just Baker. Obviously, this defense gave up some points to Sam Donald.
Yes. This game was bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. But was there any of us that
didn't think Baker was going to end up? If this was a shootout, Baker Mayfield is going to be the one
it's going to come away, and they certainly did debut.
I love this Buccaneers' jib, if you will.
For sure.
It seemed like watching this game, it was whoever had the ball last was going to end up winning.
And you create that big turn.
It was probably the only bad play Sam Darno had.
Both of these guys were just spending it.
But Baker's game, probably the best game I've seen from a quarterback in a long time.
Like he was, you can just tell he was just locked in.
Emaki Bucca dominant, it's continuing his dominant year.
Jackson Smith and Jigboe on the other side.
Both of those Ohio State boys showed off.
But this game was phenomenal.
for me. Before it even started, honestly with these
jerseys, this might be the all-time best
jersey matchup with both of these teams
celebrating 50 years. But yeah, Baker's been
dialed in, especially in the biggest moments
when his teams have needed the most.
Yeah, and I, you know, for me, luckily
when I played in Tampa, we didn't do the all-whites like
that.
That had been tough?
It's good, and the all-wit-butt.
But Becky Irving's out, right? Mike Evans
is out. And I think the thing that's not
being talked about enough, Joshua Grisard's
the OC, first-time play caller
in the NFL. What Baker's
doing with this offense right now and helping Josh also has been fantastic.
It's crazy because that was the story like two weeks ago. Remember two weeks or three weeks
ago? It was like, he's got no tackles. This guy's got nobody brand new OC and they're just winning.
Now we've just gotten used to it. We're like, yeah, week five, this is what the box do, dude.
It's like it's still so early in the year. How much better can they get with? They can still
get a lot better. I mean, look at their starting center, Graham Barton's been playing tackle.
Tristan Wirf's just got back a week ago. I mean, you look at it. They've been doing this without
their group and now they're starting to get healthier up front. And Tristan Worf's and that crew is, is
dominant. So I think they're only going to get more physical
and better up front, and I think that means his team's going to be even better.
Well, the football gods continue to bless him. You win in
games like this, football gods on your side.
Is this team of Destiny Field down there in Tampa Bay?
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa, whoa.
Is this the Cleveland Browns kicked this guy out of town? He won't play it on
a scout team punt team in Carolina. They kicked
him out of town. Look at how they are. He goes
cross-country, obviously, with Los Angeles Rams,
puts on a show, becomes the guy in Tampa Bay
after Tom Brady. Maybe we deserve to give this guy a little bit
of love. Is that what's happening right now?
booted out of the Browns building, Team of Destiny, Baker Mayfield, and the Buccaneers.
I mean, I think you could certainly make that case because everyone who wants to poke holes in the bucks,
they just said, well, this isn't sustainable.
You can't do this over the course of the season.
Four out of five weeks is a pretty good sample size.
And I feel like any time after the year when we look at this kind of, like a team always one year,
like they'll be eight and one in one score games.
And then the next year, you know, the kind of water finds level.
Exactly.
So like, as of right now, it's hard to argue.
like that's just who they're going to be this year they're going to they're going to perform very well in
one score games and does that give them enough momentum to eventually you know go on a Super Bowl run
we'll see number two storyline congratulations to 1972 dolphins oh my gosh that walk how was that
that was awesome hold you got to kick that left shoe more yeah
The left suit.
He got his little off-white.
A little swaggy.
That was my kids.
Just flopping around as he's walking.
So sad.
It's part of comeback chaos, obviously.
So sad.
Caroline Panza is not supposed to win this.
So sad.
Hey, he's Xavier League yet, maybe a guy.
So, say.
Wow.
Look at his little tag on his left foot.
Man,
dragged that thing home, man.
That sucks.
He knows.
We all know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But, hey, Fawn Ron.
Rico Dado
goes for 200
200
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
it's a good run
it was a good run
everything down there
was fun
and I think that's what he was
what do you mean
you was
you saw like
glasses off
little thing kicking
he knew
yeah he knows
that little tag
flapping around
was the last straw
if Stephen Ross sees that
he's going to say
get this guy the fuck out of here
he's done right now
how about I sent that video
to you guys
and I just said
the little tag
yeah
it's the sad as part
of the whole
inside yes it's a barber bopping around and i didn't notice it until halfway through it's here too
bob you know because the way he walks there's a lot of pizzazz for that tag to kind of just bop or
bop bop man like we said that we all said it in football if you're winning and all that happens
it's cool and they love it's cool if you don't win it okay oh let's talk about you down into miami
dolphins that place whenever you were down there there's a lot of allegations about what was going on
Donner. Do you think Miami Dolphins
can win? Okay, 19772 dolphins
obviously go undefeated. We
are all adult humans who have been in
locker rooms. And in Miami. And to
the city of Miami. Definitely been in Miami. Is there
enough? Yeah,
that's what I'm saying. We'll get that later.
That's exactly what I'm saying. Do you think
they can win in Miami? Do you think you can win
in Miami? That's a lot going on.
That's a lot of distractions.
And I was, it was COVID. One of the years was
COVID year when I was there, so there wasn't a lot
going on. But there are a lot of distractions.
down there, and it is an issue.
I think so.
Like, Gumpi needs to celebrate these
1972 dolphins, because I think it's,
I think even as the world continues
to grow, it's only getting, because Miami's getting
more and more popular to certain people.
Larry Zonk ain't coming through that door.
It just ain't having it.
Duggo.
They need them.
Exactly. Celebrate that thing.
And then the number one story in our first 15
that has now ran about 20 minutes or so,
Coach's going to Winter Bowl.
Hell yeah.
Come on now.
Now this says the coach is going to the Super Bowl,
and I appreciate that, but
that's a little humility from the graphic maker.
The Colts are going to win
Super Bowl. Okay. That is
the fun. After
watching this team live with these eyes, boys,
okay, these eyes right here, watching this
team live. Last couple of years, we've had
okay teams. Gardner Minchew almost
took us to the playoffs, almost won the AFC South
in our stadium, literally
right in front us against Houston Texans week 16
or whatever it was a couple years ago.
We always believe Shane Steichen. We always
believe that there was a lot of talent on a team.
there's one position we just couldn't figure out you know i'm surprised you didn't play for us to be
honest i don't know how that happened with the run that we were on danny dimes with us is awesome
jonathan taylor i think he only rushed for like 66 yards yesterday three touchdowns he's the
best version of himself for sure in this offense the offensive line they're finally speaking the same
language as quarterback remember there are some stories fits i'd like to ask you about this as well
that's my dad that pivin just tapped up in front of the suite tim tim obviously in there
Matt Ryan, whenever he got here, allegedly, him and the offensive line just couldn't.
They weren't saying the same.
They were speaking different.
That's the whole thing.
That's why we had Matt Ryan come in because we thought he was like a super smart football guy.
This is what we need because we got enough talent everywhere.
We just need a quarterback.
And for some reason, they couldn't speak the same language.
Danny Donnas come in here, mastered the offense, understands everything, puts him in the right position, and he's spinning it.
I mean, it is when we need it.
he's very rarely missing. I think I saw him miss one time yesterday. It was an overthrow
out of bounds. Every other ball that comes out of his hand is like catchable.
Tyler Warren might be the best football player, period. Just go ahead and put that right there.
He's gigantic. He's tough and he's always open. But our defense is legit as well.
I had a chance to chit-chat with Colts owner, one of the big three, Carly Ursay.
Nice. How's she doing? About her time on the sideline.
Okay, journalism.
Okay. She came in to see Chuck Corgi.
got into a big race, which we'll certainly cover here in a matter of moments.
It's one of my dog, Chuck, was in a corgi race called Stumpy Stampede yesterday.
But Carly Ursay came in to see Chuck, you know.
She immediately goes, whoa, he's big.
And I go, easy.
He's got a big race coming up.
Yeah, we're just trying to get him to survive.
It's shocking, though.
We should lay that out.
It is shocking when you see a dog that fat was such small legs.
He was triple the size of every other competitor in the Stumpy Stampede.
But Carly, I said, okay, I have to ask you.
me and carly don't really i've not really talked to carly much i was on the way out when she was
kind of in we're not same age kately and i same age and we kind of knew same people so i got a chance
to have never really talked to her i'm like hey what's what are we what have we got out of this
do you know the calls like are you at the point where you know the calls she's like i kind
know what we're looking for she's just charting though she's charting plays basically
charting plays charting plays charting plays just to see what's going on trying to learn as
much as possible she said some of the coaches uh have been a little bit against it because they
think that she's like they think I'm going to hold it against them or like interject or something
like she's like I'm just literally just charting plays there and I was like what tell me about the
defense she goes lose defense versus the last defense we had so many more words options choices
so many more things for our guys to do it's like there's a call and then there's like two
adjustments on top of it she's like that's the biggest take away for me is like lose defense
versus the other defense is like there's a lot of options and then you give these guys more
options they utilize them so she's like been excited to kind of watch it kind of
girl and then she told me exact words were we think with the way gino throws and where it's coming
out from we should be able to get a couple today is what carly says wow she knows well she's dialed
oh yeah so i said that to the entire suite i was like carly leaves and i was like oh carly urs
just said the way gino's throwing it right now we think that we got the guys that are going to be
able to get some hands on some balls and then we got some picks because we didn't get any last
week or whatever she was like so we need turnovers we need turn so that first one happened
It's the flexion pick.
I'm like, I look over at, I'm going to find.
Hold on.
It's called his thing.
So it's like, everybody is all in, literally from the top, all the way down to everybody
is all in for the Coltrade now.
And we've always had the players.
We've always had the building.
And now it feels like we finally got the quarterback fits.
You're a journeyman, kind of your thing.
We're seeing this resurgence of guys that kind of have to bounce around a little bit.
Danny Dimes is doing it to an entire city right now for us.
He's doing it for an entire city right now, as we're kind of going.
going. Why does that happen? Is it the experiences teach you stuff? Is it just getting to the right
system? What are your thoughts on? Yeah, fit and timing are so big in this. And I think even with
Mack Jones right now in San Francisco, we had him the other night. It's the same thing.
So this is very sustainable for Daniel Jones as well. Stuyken's a great play caller. He showed it in
Philly. That's why he got the head job here. And he has the weapons on the outside. The thing that
I love about him, he's got Pierce, who didn't play yesterday. He's got Pittman. He's got
Tyler Warren, all these big dudes. And you see every ball that comes out of his hand, it's
drilling guys in the face mask, which is huge.
I think I want to go back to you, though, have you
ever been on a headset?
No. It's nasty. I mean, these coaches,
I've done it once, and I said, I can't do that again.
The shit that they're spewing
about the players, like,
I don't know what she's hearing, but I guess
they've been winning, so it's all been good,
but it can get really negative on that head.
I used to have the coach who would say all the time
says, listen, guys, whatever you guys are saying
down here about us, we're talking the same shit about
you guys. It's coming up, it's coming down.
Don't worry about it.
But I think, too, your points about going to the Super Bowl,
who's the defensive coordinator?
Lou Aniromo.
Who beat the Chiefs to go to the Super Bowl?
Cincinnati Bengals is the defensive coordinator.
Lou Aniromo.
So everything I was just saying there about Carly was saying,
you were nodding your head, yes.
Obviously, you had a lot of time.
You know Lou pretty good, I said.
Yeah, we've gotten to spend some time with them on Thursday nights before games.
Just being around him, his energy, his passion for the game.
And I think just really, he's one of these guys that he kind of has chest piece guys
that he's like, I need this player to be able to do these things for these specific calls that I want.
You look at some of these simulated late pressures he brings.
He has a guy type in mind that he needs.
And when he puts that together, you look at the investment they did in the secondary.
Now he knows, these are the calls that I can call in these kind of situations when I want to play chess with people.
And I think you look at it.
He has.
He's been in that playoff run with the Bengals.
He's got that experience.
So that's the guy you want calling plays when it's playoff time, baby.
Kenny Moore's coming back.
I mean, we're not even at full.
Speed on the defense.
We got a real defense.
We got like a real defense.
Grover Stewart and Buckner down there can fight anybody.
Leightu Lato gets another pick.
They got him dropping out.
He's finally finding his.
There was a guy, first time here this guy, got some quarterback.
Cross is blitzing and getting to the quarterback seemingly every other play.
Defense feels like it's potentially championship run, and then the offense is matching it.
Oh, yeah.
It's a crazy time right now for the cold.
Complementary football.
Only thing I worry about is us losing our kicker.
We lost Spence.
We lost Spank.
Is it for the year?
Is he out for the years being confirmed or no?
So it didn't sound good.
It didn't look good.
I don't want to be the one.
Okay.
Well, we'll say it.
I'll say it.
No, I'll say it.
Because it's going to get out anyways.
I think it was.
multiple ligaments were torn.
Oh, I think.
That's up.
Yeah, from my understanding, just because I apologize,
left middle of fourth quarter to be traffic.
You're good.
Okay, on way out, I get asked if I'll go say what's up to him.
Obviously, in the middle of a moment, he's Indiana kid from Indiana.
So, like, I think he maybe knew of me or my existence.
One in there I talked to him, spirits seems like he is obviously on the right track,
but obviously he's going through a lot of shock there, too.
this kid has been great for us.
He's already hit a game winner. He's got a massive leg.
The one where he got hit, I mean, he is,
especially after the years past, we've had a couple of misses
in some big moments.
Local kid has done, he's 24, so we think he'll be.
He'll bounce back for sure.
But that's going to suck. And I told him,
I didn't want to be the bear of bad news. I'm like,
yo, what you're about to go through is about to suck.
Like, you need to know that.
But on the other side, you're going to be mentally tougher
and even better in your younger, and you've got a special talent.
He's a really good, he's a good kicker.
We've been lucky to have him here.
And he loves the Colts.
So it's like, we like those people around the building.
And a ton of faith in the training staff.
Like, Rigo just tore his Achilles.
You know, and he's back punt in football is better than didn't or anyone.
When he does, he knows.
Yeah, we do like the training staff.
Yeah, it's great.
Like, frog, like, you know, it's good.
So that would be the only thing that I'd be worried about,
because this has kind of been the year of the kicker,
whether it's been hitting bombs or kicks getting blocked.
It's been a storyline.
So I think it will continue to be a storyline.
But the other things, the defensive pieces,
I feel like with Lou, they'll only continue to get better.
and more dynamic.
You see a lot of free hitters.
Blackman stepped in.
He got a big pick yesterday.
So I love with Lou and then what Danny Dimes has been doing in this offense.
Like, it's one thing to kind of get early in the year.
You can catch defense all guard, maybe some gimmick shit,
but they're doing like real, like this is a high level, high operating offense.
You don't know where 84 Warren's going to be.
He could be a fullback.
He could be split out wide.
He could be in the core and the formation.
He's a weapon, kind of like Grunk always open,
regardless of a guy's on him or not, he's so big.
Pitman, you talk to.
about his big body, the mismatch that Josh
Downs can give you in the slot, and then
Jonathan Taylor playing at an MVP level right now.
So we got all the pieces from top down right now.
We can go on a real, real run,
especially with a division that, you know,
looks like we should be in the driver's seat the whole way.
AMC South is a real juggernaut.
Don't you ever get to us?
They got a big wins, man.
Two things we didn't hit there in the top five, you think?
Two quick things?
Two quick things.
Let's go, Dak had a big, big day
with down a bunch of old linemen,
down his top receiver, C.D. Lamb.
Turpin was actually out as well,
but he had a huge kind of MVP caliber
day. He's been another quarterback coming
off a year where he was hurt. He's playing
top, top-notch football. You didn't know what
to really expect coming to this game with all those pieces
being down, but he raised his level.
Shout out the shot. He's calling the plays, putting him in
good situations. And then a
great, great kind of feel-good story.
David Montgomery, Monty, going back
home, having a passing touchdown
in a rushing touchdown in front of
his sister, Kiki, who got in the
terrible car accident so she actually been paralyzed a little bit over a year ago so this is the
first game she got to watch him play live uh since that terrible accident so it also we talked
about obviously his game and it's the 14th game where he and gibbs have scored a touchdown in the
same game which is the NFL record which is insane you remember whatever fox he was saying they
weren't calling him sonic and knuckles anymore what was it what was it what was it what were they
calling them ass and cheeks and I didn't like it one bit the internet is a cruel place all right
That's messed up, dude.
I didn't like that at all.
That seems like a long time ago now, though.
Long time.
That was a bad week one for the Detroit line.
As bad as it gets.
I'll tell you why,
that we were at a much different place now
than we were in week one there for the Detroit lines.
I'll see you in the Super Bowl, Pat.
Colts Lions.
I don't know if MCDs wants that right now.
Okay, I don't know if you want that right now.
He'll fight all your guys.
Yeah, but once you're going to do to Carly.
Exactly.
We win.
Yeah, but unfortunately then
Bennett, Na-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-Hawks out.
Yeah, you're right.
She doesn't want that glass to break, brother, because then Kaylin and Casey are going out.
Yeah, so three on one.
Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, is a man who might pick up where we left off.
If there was any crumbs to a story that maybe we didn't dabble upon, he will certainly keep us in line.
And also, maybe tell us some shit that we've refused to cover because of our ignorance.
Ladies and gentlemen, senior NFL insider for ESPN, a Michigan man, Adam Schaefter.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, shirt and die.
Whoa.
Professional.
That looks good.
I was dressing up for Fitchie and Big Whitt.
Oh, thanks, Chefty.
Of course, I appreciate it.
All right, Jeff.
Hey, Chefty, they're on a road trip across the country in the back of a very nice bus.
I believe this morning was the first time Fitch chose to shower on it, if I'm reading the tea.
Yeah, I can tell you.
You said it was going to be nice in there, though.
It was really nice.
Hot water, good air or good water pressure.
Yeah.
See, it's not bad.
Not bad.
I love the bus life.
He doesn't travel with shampoo and conditioner, so I didn't get to shampoo and conditioner, so I didn't get to shampoo and conditioning.
Oh, we got some for you here.
we'll certainly give it. Now, to be clear,
we didn't buy it. People have sent us that in the past.
We do not know if it's going to work or not, but we assume
that it's okay. Probably some starter
company, call it like mophead
or something. It's like something. It'll work.
Harvard, you get it. Some kid created this in his
garage. Good to see you guys.
Shepter, what did we miss in there? I know
you were sitting around listening to a lot of what we were chatting
about. The Coltsker and the Super Bowl,
the 1972 Dolphins
undefeated Street continues. The Tampa
Bay Buccaneers are outrageous in what they're doing.
Jets and Bengals? Not complete
to ask is what the Jetson Bengals. Half ass. Half ass. Half ass is what they say. And then come back
chaos yesterday. If you want to hit any of those or anything we left out, we'd love to hear it,
Chifty. Well, I don't know how much hit them at Denver Broncos, a team that going into yesterday
had a record of one and 112 going into the fourth quarter when they were down by 14 or more
points. And yesterday pulled out the second win in 114 games when they were in that spot. Now,
I covered John Elway for a lot of years. There weren't many more players that were close.
than John Elway, and even he didn't do that when they were down 14 on the road in the fourth quarter,
and yet Sean Payton has now done this twice the last few years. He did it yesterday in Philadelphia
in the Eagle Stadium on the road against the defending champs. It's pretty impressive,
and on that two-point conversion at the end, they didn't even hesitate. They got right into that
two-point conversion, and there aren't a lot of head coaches across the league who would call for
two points on this particular play right here, down 17-16, and go for the lead.
after the fourth quarter. That was
pretty bold to
Sean Payton, but that's how confident he was
that they would make it, and the Broncos
pulled through, and they left after the game
to go to London. They play the Jets there on Sunday,
so a big matchup for them.
Yeah, the Broncos coming into the season where obviously
a lot of people's Super Bowl darlings, they play
an incredible Indianapolis Colts team.
You know, and I think a lot of people maybe weren't
giving the Colts a lot of credit at the time, so
I think maybe the Broncos were maybe judged in a certain
way that they might not be judged the same
exact way today if it was to happen, but they get a huge win.
And obviously, that's the 1972 Dolphins get a chance to celebrate, especially after
the bills lose last night.
Any storylines out of New England and the Buffalo Bills last night?
Obviously, Stefan Digg said it was very personal.
He goes off for the second straight game over 100 yards.
First time wide receiver's done that since.
I don't know.
2019 Julian Edelman, I think, is what the stat was or whatever.
So he's going crazy.
Vrable in the Patriots, everything's clicking.
All systems go out of there, it appears.
That was a big statement that they made there going to Buffalo.
If you could win in Buffalo on a Sunday night, then where can't this team win?
And again, the Patriots still have to go for stadiums.
They'll get better, but Drake May looked at the part.
He made a couple of plays that not a lot of quarterbacks can make.
Rable has helped turn around the culture.
There's still things that they have to do and will do better.
But that was a big time statement.
Like Drake May on the national stage, they hadn't played in prime time, hadn't been in that spot,
and it got down late in the game, and Drake May was making plays to Stefan Diggs,
like you mentioned, over 100 for the second straight game, got a game ball after the game,
big victory for the Patriots, and that was a statement that they're in the hunt for a playoff spot.
There's that throw right there.
Like, he's got a guy draped on him.
He's got another guy coming at him straight ahead, and he still manages to not only get rid of the ball,
but get rid of the ball on target
for a 12-year-old. That was an incredible play
by Drake May. Yeah, it certainly was, and Amazon's
coming everywhere. We know that we heard that
last night. All over the place. Yeah, all over the place.
Wade has a question for you, Shifty.
Shifty, I'm concerned. My Rams lost in overtime
last Thursday, so I'm a little worried about
next week. Talk to me. Lamar Jackson, is he
playing next Sunday against the Rams?
Yeah. Well, you know, the great part
about that for the Rams, and you'll know this
better than any one big way. There's no way they're going to
play a game like that two games in a row.
And Baltimore seems to be missing half
its roster. Now, with the way it sets up, the Ravens have a buy week after that. So if they
rest Lamar next week, if he's not ready, they get him two weeks to get ready. And I almost feel
like that team has to view themselves making a push after their buy because they're missing
so many key players on both sides of the football right now. My guess is they won't get
Lamar on Sunday, but obviously the team will see how he's doing this week. Lamar wanted to
try to play last week. He's going to want to try to play this week. If he can play, he'll certainly
be out there, but he couldn't walk out of the locker, and he was limping around last week.
He didn't practice it all this past week, ruled out on Friday, and they have the buy on the
week after. So my guess, and it's a guess right now early on the week, is that he won't wind
up playing, but we'll see how the week unfolds.
Chefty, do you have any experience with hamstring injuries, just in your athletic career?
Oh, Fitz. I've had a lot of injuries.
You're an Achilles. I know that, right?
I've had a lot of things. I've had, oh, yeah, I've got, yeah.
thumbs i've never pulled my hamstring you've never pulled your hamstring not fast enough no
yeah it takes a real explosion to be able to do that what's the worst injury you had i've seen you bleed
obviously uh broken tibia was probably the worst yeah that's the tough that's the not
first the colts actually it was actually it was probably you kicking onside kicks in that game
it probably led to my broken tibia okay where's this is here or in national here when i
hit the one to the right sure i think you hit two in the game no
Goddain rent.
Oh, shit.
Happy to see you're okay.
Happy to see you're okay.
Let's talk about some people who might not be okay.
Go ahead, Ty.
Yeah, Shephti, this kind of got put on the back burner after they had the big win on Thursday night.
But Mike McDaniel yesterday, just not good, blowing a 17-point lead and then walking through
the tunnel looking like a fifth grader who just got his ass beat and his lunch money stolen.
Is this going to happen?
I mean, are we going to draw this out and we don't really have anything to worry about?
Or is Mike McDaniel going to be getting axed here fairly soon?
Look, I think everybody's smart enough to figure out who's in trouble and who's not.
And when things actually happen are entirely up to ownership of these teams.
But none of these teams are in any rush right now to make that move.
Like, as much as people are going to talk about it, there's still a lot of time to go in the season.
What do you want them to do?
Who's going to take over if somebody gets fired in a particular city?
these are all the decisions you have to make,
but the Dolphins obviously have had a disappointing season so far.
Everybody knows that you have to win
to avoid facing some of these questions.
But I don't get the sense
that it's any time soon.
Could that change? Of course.
Of course. I lost the Carolina yesterday.
But the ownership has wanted to be patient with him.
That I can tell you.
Go luck, McDane. We're pulling for you, my love.
Go get a bite, light, line.
We're pulling for you, man.
That was a sad image.
He gave him the glasses off.
just the whole thing.
Because he feels like he's, when people around him, they enjoy their time.
Like, I think he is a good vibes human.
This is like Sala at the Jets, and then we see him at the Ninger going absolutely crazy.
It's like he lost his joy when he was with the Jets, clearly.
And now it's like McDaniel, this guy has lost everything, but's shoes, still got the shoes.
So got the joggers.
Still got the cool looks.
Looks good.
Still has got the glasses that change when you're outside.
Yeah, transition lenses.
Transition lenses, which I think more people should do.
I think they do look pretty cool, especially with the styles that they have these days.
But boy, they've got to win because there's people like Gumpy in the back that are going,
how long are we waiting here, pal?
What are we?
We're year five now, Gumpi.
Is that what you're thinking back there as Dolphins fan?
Whenever they get a lead, he doesn't know how to call the game.
It's insane.
They went up 17-0.
They were cooking.
Waller's got five for 78 with a Tud.
Don't target him the entire second half.
Are you shitting me?
They got the beam on him
He did
The best player we're wide open every time
You're saying he's not the one
He's not he is the one
We won't give him the ball
It's because they got the whole fucking team on him
Yeah
Mike dowed up some stuff
Too gotta make the throws too
You gotta make the throws
And so or Mike
And give up 250
They got doutled
250 yards from the damn ground
They did get ridgown
They did get riddle
But moving on
They got the RICO
Act thrown on
That's awesome.
We got a big court.
So the boys in here, got to give him credit.
They had the Joe DiNardo.
They saw it well before we did, Shephti, because me and you kind of dismissed this.
Might be a quarterback conversation in San Francisco now.
But before we get into it, how's Brock's health right now?
How healthy is he?
When will he be back in the lineup in?
Mac Jones, is there going to be a conversation?
I know Mac Jones saying all the right thing, but is there going to be a conversation with how well he's been playing?
Personally, he's been unbelievable.
And I think people were surprised at how well he's played.
but the environment has elevated his performance.
And there aren't a lot of people who would have thought on Thursday night football
in front of Big Witt and Fitsy there,
that Mac Jones would have led that team to the victory that he did.
But they've rebuilt him.
They've reprogrammed him.
And he's playing the way that they thought he would when he left Alabama.
And they considered taking him.
Like they initially traded up with the idea that they were going to pick him
and fell in love with Trey Lance along the process.
Now Mac is back there.
playing exceptionally well, no, I still think it is absolutely Brock Bertie's job.
I don't even think it's a question.
Mack Jones did say the right things because I think that's the real situation right now
where he's going to be in a situation where he's called upon when Brock's not playing
and he'll step in and play the way he did.
It was fantastic.
And he's got a two-year contract.
So he's going to be there for a couple of years unless all of a sudden he's got value.
But Brock Purdy, they just paid and he's going to be the guy.
Pat, also I have to give you props.
Thank you.
Spencer Schrader.
You're correct.
Both.
You beat him.
He's been unbelievable this year, a great kicker, my fancy kicker, out for the earth knee injury.
Yeah, that is, I heard it's real, very, I mean, the thing he had, it looked terrible.
When I saw him, and also everybody kneeling around him, that was very scary, but the, the brace he had on when I went to see him was groin to ankle, triple, you know what I'm like, damn.
and I will say his mindset
good in the moment
total shock
obviously everything happening
he's been great for us
going to have to have a good kicker if you want to go and run
hopefully we'll find somebody
and then when spank when you're back bub
we can't wait to welcome you back
we can't wait to welcome you back okay
last question it's about tonight
obviously Monday night football and I believe
there's a Manning must watch
ride along
who cares
No.
You won't be that?
These are good.
The main and cast are good.
We get good clips out of these things.
Let's make sure we're...
Exactly, yeah.
Okay, there's good clips coming out of ESPN, too.
See you on X.
Not going on my TV.
Shephti, if you need a kicker,
go ahead and grab board.
Gallus.
He had a kick yesterday.
That would have been good from 80,
but looking at tonight...
That was a booming kick, right?
That was huge.
Yeah, I love them.
Yeah, great.
Looking at tonight, though,
what do you think about this game's
setting up. The Jags defense
has been figuring it out, and now the
Casey offense has been figuring
it out. Is this going to be kind of like a
gritty, you know, running gun
type game? Are the, are the Jags going to
force him to run the football? Are the
Chiefs going to force Trevor to throw the ball?
Because Kine has a noodle arm, but
ETN's running well. Hopefully
we get a heavy dose of Travis Hunter.
What are your expectations and who
who's missing on both sides
tonight? Are there any big injuries
that we should know?
Well, the chiefs added Xavier Worthy to their injury report when they landed after flying to Jacksonville, because his ankle swelled up on the plane.
And they just put him on there, I think, as a precaution just to make sure, because you never know.
But the sense is that he should be ready for tonight unless that ankle continues to go the opposite way, which we'll hear that soon enough.
But I would expect that he does wind up playing tonight.
And I also think weather might figure it there.
like you're in Florida this time of the year, storms, thunderstorms, rain showers, some of that's in the forecast, don't know if it'll hit at various points during the game. But that always could be a factor. There were some calls for some lightning. Hopefully that stays away and does not impact tonight. But yeah, these are, this game where I think we've seen some teams make some serious statements this weekend. Some upstart teams make some statements. And you just wonder if Jacksonville, which has been playing great football, hasn't played a big,
game or prime time like this with a winning
record in this kind of spot. It feels like
New England last night. It feels like Denver.
It feels like some of these teams
they get a chance to make a statement by
playing with a team that's one of the top
franchises in sports. Thanks for not
putting the Colts and Tyre in there.
I was about to really have a moment there. Winning
a stake in NFL history. You go back in time.
On that note, Shod Khan
tonight? Let's expect
the best. Need one. This is Monday night
football for the checks? Need it. Yes.
And also, this thing will be
It'll be
Clean
Strength first strength tonight
Chiefs only have one turnover
Think they have only given the ball away once
Jaguars lead to league right now
And turnovers 13
So see how that goes tonight
Ball skirt is job scurdy
Absolutely the ball is the program
That's the program
We should see how it is
We appreciate you join the program
You're the man
Will we see you tonight a lot of this
It looks like you're ready to go
I'm just I want to get ready for game time
You know never too early to get ready
For kickoff Mother Night Countdown
We're all ready
You know what they say
The true suits
Sleep at them
So maybe you should start
doing that.
Ladies and gentlemen, Adam Schaefter.
Yes, hey.
First at you, Schifty.
You know, as the hour wraps up, I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about my day yesterday.
Yeah, sure.
Ladies and gentlemen, I was part of something very special.
We're not only, you know, by myself and getting just to experience it alongside my wife,
and he's considered my dog as well, but certainly my wife's dog.
We are invited to be a part of the Stumpy Stampede, which is a corgi race that happens during TV.
timeouts. And I was pretty against it. I didn't know if my guy would be able to survive it,
just in general, running that far. And it turns out we didn't even need to find out. It was a
great day yesterday. Me, my beautiful wife, Samantha, and our dog, Chuck, was by far the
fattest corgi in the entire race. There was two heats. Oh my gosh. And our dog, Chuck,
was barely able to survive just getting to the spot. We had to go two yards ahead of everybody
else because I couldn't get him back onto the spot. I was trying to point out his mom. Go get your
mom the one that you like and he asked are you are you where are you who's who's come are you
come i'm not going and he turns around he says i'm not doing this bullshit i'm not your puppet out here
amongst all these other corgis i'm heading back this way and i said chuck this is a moment i've been
dreaming of with one of my boys i remember this moment in real time
A father taking care of his son and making sure he finished the race.
Chuck had to battle through adversity, including his own weight.
And a lot of different problems, I assume, going on with his joints.
His mom, medicine's finish line, and the cameraman tried to kill him.
But Chuck finished.
And Chuck did his race.
And Kayla Nersay, one of the owners of the Indianapolis Colts, was there to greet him.
And people clapped for the fatso.
So we didn't think a dog could finish that type of race.
So we appreciate that moment.
Well, Doug, Chuck.
Thank you for the invite.
Stumpy Stampede.
They do that race.
16 teams use that particular setup for their corgi races during TV timeouts.
It was an honor to be a part of.
All the other dogs had done a walkthrough or a smaller race to get to said race.
Chuck was the only one out there without a collar on.
and also a Halloween costume
couldn't none of the Halloween costumes
were fit we actually had to surgically remove
one of the outfits from Chuck because he was just too big
corgi race though good pop in the stadium
which immediately led to fits and whitna boys are coming by
what are some of the best tv timeout in stadium shows
that takes place and we came up with pretty good
cordy race was good i think this is very new i think it's very new uh the
Field goal or throwing challenge.
You guys brought that up.
I don't think I've seen the throwing
challenge, but I haven't seen.
Like the Dr. Pepper.
Dr. Pepper.
You saw it.
You try to throw it in there.
You talk about that one.
Okay, the Colts have one, too,
where they're thrown in trash cans.
You remember that?
There was like a trash can throw.
It was a little.
The helmet shuffle, I think, in football
stadiums, okay,
nobody will ever compare to Red Panda.
But the helmet shuffle in stadiums,
always captivating,
always a little bit of a degree of difficulty.
So people feel like
their super geniuses and I would
like to humble brag throughout my
playing career punner not paying attention to much
and also a fan thing I've never
got this wrong and never
not once I lock in
bro yeah I'm captivated by
they got a new one where it shakes and they even have
it leave the fucking yeah and then
they come back on I'm like you're not going to give me
and the reason why I think it's a good one no matter
what stadium you're in loud
two from everybody
whenever it happens I agree
you guys played actual positions
Did you watch?
Were you able to do
the helmet shuffle
Or were you guys
No helmet shuffle
You never watched the helmet shuffle
I always watch the helmet shuffle
You got paid attention to the helmet shuffle
I love the helmet shuffle
The Kiss Cam too
I always love the Kiss cam
It doesn't go as well
What's that?
Kiss Kim not as good at concerts
No
Well
Depends where you are
And who's where
You know
Because there's other potential
Significant others
That's staying
With other people too
Same one
The Polplay really brings
everybody together. The mascot
football slash races
peewee football, always good.
The military hometown hero
coming back. That one gets you.
Stand up off the bench, clap.
Got a chance to be a part of one. It was insane.
Wish for our heroes here in Indianapolis
we were able to set this up.
Because when I'm warming up on the field
is during all these TV timeouts.
And I'm trying to do this entire thing
and trying to warm up. I'm crying my eyes out in the middle
of all these fucking games. The military
reaction
a surprise I'm home
six months. I think this guy was six months early
okay so they weren't even
it wasn't even a thought I think they thought maybe getting a
car when car comes out because I think
they had some breakdown but for dad
to come back home like six months early
always water works every stadium that it happened
always anytime you see it especially when it has
the music I've seen games is huge but like
kid in the classroom like all the different
type of day this is all it always hits
a t-shirt toss cannon
we got to do
the hot dog we got to shoot hot dogs
We have the video of that. I think it's like 30 seconds in. He had cannon like this and then shot that thing out there. That's been a part of this bus ride. The guy, the guy told us, he said, let me crank up the PSI. You can shoot it over the stadium. I said, no, you can't. He's doing the tape around it. He put extra tape all over. PSI up. That thing went out of Memorial Stadium.
Over the top. Over the top. What? Insane.
Is that, did they, do we have camera on it? That's what we're celebrating. That's the reaction. They probably do the camera of it. Yeah.
We need camera on that.
That's a good-looking dog can.
That is a good dog gun.
That's a good dog gun there.
Trivia on the big screen, always good,
depending upon if the crowd's drunk or not.
And then the hot dog cannon there to wrap it up.
The in-stadium entertainment can be good.
There's some shite ones.
Oh, yeah.
There's some really bad ones.
You can't depend on people talking.
No.
Like if people are just at the game.
Have you seen the Hardwood Classics?
Uh-uh.
Golden State Warriors,
dance team, 55 and up.
They're incredible.
I think there's a 79-year-old
on the squad. They're incredible.
Wow, you're saying like
because if we go in the NBA world, quick change, I think
rest in peace, quick chains used to change
addresses, because they obviously have it.
We saw a BMX one, that was kind of okay.
That was bad.
Oh, it was at the NBA final.
A lot of the NBA was tough.
Hey, before we wrap up, Red Panda's the goat, as are you.
Thank you guys for joining us. You've been holding
something there. I've got a little something for you, Pat.
If you watched the Bill's game last night,
Josh Allen sales a ball out over in the
stands, guy catches it, rocking the Milano jersey, tucks it, and just takes off out of the
stadium. I think Tariko did a great job describing it. Well, that was Fitsin. On our journey,
we stopped by 1587 Prime, our boys, Pat and Trave. Went to the restaurant, and we thought,
you know, what could we get Pat and the boys to just, you know, come around our trip. So,
so we stole one of their dishes. Yes. We stuck it in the hoodie, and we took it with us, Pat.
Thank you so much. Ladies and gentlemen, Fitz and Whit, obviously, Thursday, tonight, a ball,

It's awesome.
We're incredibly lucky that two football guys,
Andrew Whitworth and Ryan Fitzpatrick,
who are on a bus journey from last week's Thursday night football game
on Amazon Prime on Thursday night to this upcoming week's Thursday night
game on Prime in New York from L.A. to MetLife.
And they stopped by, and they brought a plate full.
from 1587 Prime Steakhouse,
which is Patrick and Travis Kelsey's here.
Now, maybe in the next album,
there's actually gonna be a reference
to one of these plates.
Like there was a reference to one of the owners here's,
one of his trees.
Yeah, he's Brontworth.
Yeah, his Redwood.
I think that's because he's a member of Chiefs.
Oh, sure.
So canceled continues to be a banger, by the way.
A couple other songs.
But we appreciate Witt and Fits for stopping by,
And what a great first hour.
The toxic tables here at Boston Corner, at Ty Schmidt.
One half of the Hammer.
Cowboys AP Tone joins us.
Tone, what is the gombling story coming out of week five
that we weren't able to maybe talk about in the first hour?
Okay, some good news, kind of.
For the first time, we've been talking about, you know,
how the top five against the spread teams for the public have gone.
It's been one and four, oh, and five basically every week.
There are three and two this week.
Let's go!
We're getting smarter than these sports books.
We need this.
So I went through and I looked and I was like, oh, I wonder if that continued down the line.
I looked at every single team that was over 50% of the public bets.
They went six and seven, so a little bit under, but that's okay.
So, you know, we're still down, but making progress.
Yeah, we're close.
Well, nine-year NFL vet.
Darius J. Butler, Joe.
Outta, baby.
DeBoch.
Good to see you.
I don't know how your picks went because you're not with us on Friday.
I know there's sometimes where you make the picks in the YouTube chat.
with shout to chat.
Shout out to the chat.
Shout out to the chat.
Shout out to the chat.
You said he got discouraged.
He did the first week and I was, ah, fuck this.
Yeah.
Once people start tracking what you're doing.
Yeah, it gets loud, yeah.
Got somebody doing it for our college game day picks and for this.
I thought I maybe got out of the picks game,
but it feels like we're right back in it with people keeping track.
The man joining me right now had a pretty good weekend of predicting ball.
Ladies and gentlemen, he's a college football national champion.
He's a Super Bowl champion, writer cup winner.
Ladies and gentlemen, AJ Hawke.
Hope you had an incredible weekend.
Don't know if you know this or not,
which you certainly don't.
You want 10 and 3, brother.
Wow.
Okay, that Cardinals one.
The only pick I remember was the Cardinals one.
I knew that whole debacle just screwed me on that pick.
So, you know, I guess chalk it up to just a bizarre situation.
I picked the Jets, brother.
So, I mean, you can certainly talk about a lot of bizarre situations.
That was an absolute blowout, and they have been crumbled.
10 and 3 is certainly nothing to sneeze at it.
AJ. And maybe it's because it was such an
interesting slate with so many weird ones.
We all just want with whoever we feel better
about at the time. And those
seemingly covered for us, so we're thankful for that.
Tonight, we have a great Chiefs.
Jaguars battle. Chiefs
favored by three and a half on the road.
Is this because they don't have any respect for Jacksonville
because it's the Jacksonville Jaguars? Or why do you think
this number is three and a half
AP Tone?
No, I just think they think the Chiefs
is the better team. The Chiefs is the
chiefs. The Jags have had a great start to
this year, but the Chiefs have looked really good as of late, and they're the more proven team.
Also, they know that the public is going to hammer the Chiefs, so that's also built into
this as well. Okay, so let's talk about this game, AJ. What's your initial lean, initial
reaction? Feels like if the Chiefs is still the Chiefs, we saw that just last week, where
they won absolute Ham. Will tonight be their first primetime explosion performance in some time
in the regular season? Well, it sure would not hurt for the Chiefs to show us that they
are the Chiefs that we know, you know, they have been over the last few years. But
Jacksonville for them. I think this is a giant opportunity.
Your dogs at home, so you can already have that chip on your shoulder.
And do you find a way to win this game in Jacksonville and win like an impressive fashion?
Like this, I think it can springboard you into the future.
And we'll see more and more, you know, probably have locker room speeches from the owner.
So it'll be great for everyone.
Yeah, forever. We're all hoping for it because they were having these conversations.
Yeah, back in January, it happened in September.
Now we need it to happen in October when it does.
It's going to last forever!
We need that.
Yeah.
Like I need air to breathe.
If anything, we need Stoner and Liam Cohen to get it figured out down there strictly so we can see Moore Shod Khan.
Talking about a guy who has wanted his team to be successful for a long time.
He spent a lot of money and, you know, I think investments in trying to make out,
was willing to rebuild an entire city for this team to be good.
Urban Meyer, you're going to save the whole place, right?
What do you need?
You need Jacksonville, Tom?
You need a Jaguars place?
I'll build that, no problem.
They put out graphics, 3D graphics of what it was going to look like down there.
Say hello to the next iteration of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
You guys haven't won it forever except for against the Colts whenever they come down there for some reason.
You guys only win one game a year and it's against Colts at home.
And it's a heartbreaker for everybody every time it happens.
But against everybody else, you guys stink your own fans dress up like clowns.
And ShotCon is like, yeah, but if I spend enough, if I spend enough, it'll be good.
And honestly, I appreciate an owner that's like that.
and now it seems like there's a chance for them to be actually good.
Now, it's very early in the year.
Liam Cohen, obviously, very new to being a head coach.
Stoner, very new to running a team.
But it's like, if the Jags are for real, that would be a surprise.
And tonight could certainly be a night to say hello to the world, A.J. Hawk.
Yeah, I think for them to take that next step, they need to prove to people that they are, that, you know,
they're not the jags that we think they are, and they're not going to be able to win these big games.
But to Shod Khan, like, I do respect the fact that he's trying to win.
We know there's definitely owners around the league
that are just trying to make money
and trying to continue to make money
and stay positive and all that.
Sean Conce feels like, all right, yeah, like money's cool.
Like, I got money.
I need to find a way to win.
I want to brag about my team.
And, you know, maybe we're seeing that this year.
Maybe this is the beginning of something great for Jacksonville.
Dee Butt, Xavier Worthy gets hurt on a plane?
What happened there?
They said he got off the plane, had a swollen ankle.
Obviously, everybody was excited for him to return,
another great piece for that offense.
What does that normally mean?
Had an injury going on to the flight,
flight and the pressure and altitude just kind of cooked it a little bit?
What do you think?
Hopefully it's just them covering their basis just in case they do have to rule him out late
in the game.
You can't come back and say, oh, well, he wasn't an injury report.
This wasn't there.
So they're reporting it.
And hopefully we get him there because this team, I feel like just preparing for him
and playing against.
They're completely different when number one is on the field.
You saw that last week.
And they all of a sudden get explosive.
They get speed with Thornton, with him, with the other guys out there running around.
And once again, like I said earlier, the chiefs don't turn the ball over.
don't beat yourself. That's a big deal. And on the
flip side, the Jacksonville defense is kind of
middle of the pack, except when he gets
to turnovers. They do create turnovers, being
at the top of the league. A lot of speed out
there on both sides of the field. Travis Etyn,
he's having an unbelievable year.
Brian Thomas Jr., if he can get going,
he's a big speed guy. And then,
is this the first time we see Travis Hunter
on primetime? So I'll be interested in
how he is deployed
on both sides of the team.
My bad, my bad. Sorry about that, but like, at
what point are they going to just finally
say like, hey, we're done with this shit.
Go play wide receiver. You and Brian
Thomas in the team right now would be
absurd together. Like, is this
kind of where they start, now that September's over,
you know, are they going to kind of maybe start
curtailing some plays
towards them? Are they maybe going to, you know,
choose a little bit on what he can play?
Because it just feels like it's never going to be
possible, no matter what,
to play both sides at the highest
possible level. I agree with you. I don't see
it being possible. He has...
Well, I made you think that. Okay, so it's like, because whenever we were
coming into the league, coming into the season. And once again, my name's on the show,
and it's only from my perspective, so I'm going to say this, but there's only been one guy
that they let kick and punt. And he was at Atlanta, and he did not do well. He went like two
for like 10 on field goals, and then he went back to being a punter, and he was a great punter.
And obviously, great field goal kicker as well. They even gave him the opportunity.
When I was coming out of college, they're like, what do you think you are? I think I'm both.
They're like, when nobody's both, I was actually told, you should never punt a football again
because I was in the senior bowl as a kicker
and the senior bowl obviously back then
at least had a percentage of hit rate
that like the NFL guys want.
So I was actually told you should never punt a ball again
you should just focus on kicking, you can't do both.
Now granted, I did do that.
I stopped punting and then I get drafted
to be a punter. Then a day after
the draft, it's like, well, I guess
we got to make up for some lost time here
at least three months of potentially learning how to do this
because I focus on one thing.
But the conversation around kicking and punting is like
way too much time. It's hard to become an expert
on either thing when there's only 32 jobs and how are you going to manage your energy how you're
going to manage your reps how you can do all that so whenever we saw what Travis hunter was doing
a Colorado with coach prime and he's like managing this day while we're managing here we're managing
here I wanted longer season higher level of competition and peers you know because if I was going to
kick and pun I had to be better than every kicker that they brought in and I had to be better than
every punter that you brought in so in this particular case he has to be one of the top three
wide receivers on the team and he also has to be what one of the top three corners on the team
let alone competing against the other team,
you got to compete against your own fucking team.
I think because of what they did, trading up to let them,
they're going to give them every opportunity to do that?
Or do you think there is kind of a realization about like this might legitimately not be possible,
which is why it's never really been possible?
Yeah, I don't think they're necessarily in a rush because of where they are right now
sitting at 3 and 1.
If they can get a win tonight, they'll still be tied up there with the Colts for first place.
But yeah, it's just so tough.
Even when I think about guys who play the same position,
Like you think about Dorel Revis and then Richard Sherman.
Like they were completely different corners.
Like Dorel Revis wouldn't be Revis if he tried to play like Sherman and vice versa.
So it's like even playing the same position, it's just so difficult and so different.
And like you mentioned, week in and week out, teams are game playing.
Okay, what is Travis Hunter good at coverage-wise?
What is he good at as a receiver?
So for him to balance that it will be so tough physically, I think a lot of guys could have lined up and played wide receiver and cornerback.
But just the mental aspect of it, game.
in the game out and then you thought he does have high football like you high very high you talked
about um you know having to be better than every kicker or punner that they brought in it's the
same thing with him especially when you drafted number two overall like you want to you want to see
that impact on whichever side of the ball it is if it's uh hey you're just going to be a lockdown
corner maybe we sprinkle a little bit wide receiver or vice versa so it's so tough could he be
the first like we see with show hey otani or you know the second obey but could he do it
it's possible, but do you want to sacrifice
what you may have to sacrifice
on either side of the field to get
them to that point, especially when you're trying to
build a contender that's trying to
compete year and a year out? And I think, like,
we talked about it coming into the season. We did have that
wide receiver graphic. It was like, which teams
have good wide receivers? When is he going to play
more snaps or whatever? And I think it truly
has been like that. So week one,
he only played five snaps on defense. Week
two, he played 38. Week three,
he played 42. And then last week against
the Niners, who are all banged up.
all over the wide receiver position. He only played
nine on the defensive side. So you would
think probably coming in tonight, because
especially if Worthy does play, he'll probably get another
extended look on defense. But no, he's
played about the same amount of snaps each week
on offense, but vastly different
on defense depending on which team they put. And like you
said, it's funny you bring up Shohei, because that was
kind of my argument is he, we just
saw it the other night. He started the
game and he was
the starting pitcher, but because you have to do
both, he struck out four times at the
plate. So it's like, with Travis
Hunter, like, he absolutely could do both, but is he making enough of an impact both ways
that makes people say, like, that's why you, that's why you gave all that up to trade up to
number two to get this guy. It's like, if you have to really put everything into both sides,
are you kind of just watering down what he does so well on both sides?
AJ, the season's slipping away. You know, we're already at week six, which we need to remember.
Okay, for ourselves. But also, these teams are starting to figure out who the hell they are as well.
Travis Hunter figuring out what he is as well.
Do you think that's going to be an ongoing experiment all season?
Like, when do you think they have a conversation, AJ?
I mean, I would assume it's a daily conversation on what to do with them.
Like, each week you probably change up the plan a little bit.
But I'm sure you guys remember, say you have like a D-Liman that plays goal line offense.
And the only time that you've got to take the guy away from defense during, like,
there'll be a period you'll be doing some kind of defensive install wherever.
They'll have to yell down, make a big deal.
Hey, send the big guy down.
He's got to go run down and go play fullback with the offense.
He has to maybe miss a couple of parts of a defensive meeting to sit in with the
offense to go over there, like red zone plan or whatever.
It just takes away during the day because, you know, like in meetings and walkthroughs
and everything, I don't know if people realize offense and defense is completely separate.
Like, you're not doing anything together.
You're not even seeing those guys that much outside of the team meeting until you get
on the field for that first walkthrough and practice.
Like, you don't really interact much with the offense.
So it does.
You're always taking something to try to go.
gain something, whatever you're going. So it's just how
do you balance that? That's why we don't
really see this happen ever. So they're
kind of showing us the way, I guess. The old
classic Rob Peter to pay Paul, that's
actually happening. You know, like you're actually
stealing from the defense of time that you
could be working, go over the offense and vice versa.
The only time you're ever together is special teams
and usually stars aren't going to be a part of
that. So team meeting, we're all receiving
the same message. And then special teams,
everybody's kind of in there. But other than that,
you've got two different teams operate. I mean,
I mean, that's been well documented through the
history of football all the way back to what chicago right when chicago uh was right where
rex or not right uh buddy ryan buddy ryan 85 bears yeah and oh yeah in the offense they were
yeah like hated each other yeah was it dicka and yeah and ron right yep yeah they told us right
they actually did not like like every day it was like no we're better and they really did
well with yeah they did really really well with that but the team that's why we always talk about
the teams that get along. It's like because
you're two different outfits
basically and then you've got to come together
and if everybody gets along you're in a much better
spot but it is easier to get along when you're winning.
Yeah. I will say boy it's
much better to get much easier to do that.
Yeah just completely forgot about for the game
tonight though like that the idea
of that worthy in Travis Hunter matchup
that is going to be something
I this whole entire
day have been thinking to
myself they better play Travis Hunter every single
snap on offense and now
you know like hearing that it's like oh no he better play every single snap on defense because it is
awesome when you have a locked down corner for the patriots everyone's talking about may and like you know
the offense and it's awesome digs christian gonzalez just just watching a football game and then
never hearing a cornerback's name and then the first time you hear him it's a guy catching a ball
out of bounce because he's covered so well and then the second time you hear him it's him
breaking up a pass on third down. It's one of those things
where it's like, oh my gosh, I
forgot. Like, we have our best player on defense
back. This is why the Patriots look so
good. On that note, if you're those
guys, there's a lack
of respect for you. How many
pass breakups, how many passes, defense?
If you were to go through like Revis
whenever he was playing, like
how many pass breakups you have? He
only averages one pass breakup.
How many throws are going
his way? Because that's what you literally
just go into irrelevance if you're one of
those guys. Gonzales, I think, has become one of those dudes.
Yes.
Which is a good thing.
Great thing.
But it's not great for brand building.
Yeah.
You know.
Well, I mean, if you know, you know.
And then once you get paid and defense the corner, and then you can talk about enough,
like if a corner goes down, like it probably won't change the point spread at all.
But it's going to completely change how the coordinator is calling that defense.
Or if you don't have a guy like Charles Woodson playing the slot that week,
that completely changes how that defense is going to be played in call.
And just every game just means so much.
The Travis Hunter conversation, like every play, too, if he runs one wrong route
and Lawrence tries to lead him somewhere, that's the interception.
And the same thing on the defense, you blow one coverage, that could be a touchdown.
So you're playing very high leverage positions out there.
Yeah, that's what sucks, though, because because Gonzo isn't a loud, like, social media guy
at all or anything, like people see PFF rankings and think, oh, okay, so if he's ranked
11th. He's the 11th best, you know,
corner in the NFL. And it's awesome
for PFF, just because it feels
as though Collinsworth started
in, and he's just kind of held on to that job,
even though he's been saying the same thing for 20 years.
And it's awesome that he does
have that job, because I do think
there was probably a time where he was good at it,
even though, you know, when you go back.
Patriots fans not liking him after last night.
Oh, no, so this is the only reason I'm saying it,
is because, like, I didn't, when I told
Collinsworth, or I didn't tell
Collinsworth, when I tweeted, this game would be so much
better if Collinsworth would just shut the fuck up.
What was he that one? He was making Patriots
fans, man? No, no. He was building
May up, but it's just like
the same watered down. I'm
pretty sure he said the same thing about Josh Allen
in the first quarter and then said
like, no one's going to remember that I said
this earlier. And then say the same
thing about Drake Mayer
Drake May's pissed. Drake May's pissed too.
Drake May's too. And look what Chris Collins Brothers is doing right now.
He's just dancing in your brain. He's spinning your
drink. Well, no, no, he's not dancing my brain at all.
I just think he's been robbing money from, you know, NBC for a long time.
I think PFF is proving that they don't know what they're talking about.
Steve Spagnolo just came out.
Steve Spagnolo, probably going to see him on the camera on the broadcast tonight.
He's basically the greatest defensive coordinator in the history of the NFL.
And he came out and said, like, well, when PFF ranks players, they have no fucking idea what they're talking about.
No, no, why would they?
So, again, why would rankings like that be on the most watch game every week?
You probably think to yourself like, oh, okay, they must know what they're talking about.
They don't.
But that's what bums me out about Sunday night football.
But that's why I'm so excited about tonight.
Okay.
Monday night football.
Joe and Troy are the goats.
I love them, too, on the call together.
And I genuinely think this is going to be a great football game.
I think it's going to be a great football game as well.
And I would also like to say, Chris, we're big fans.
Dude, that was PFF.
That's not true.
That's not true.
That was part of a decade.
Do you want me to leave the stage and then you can say we're big fans?
That's okay.
I can't do it anymore.
congrats to the Patriots getting a huge win
and that's life as a commentator right there
especially you've been around a long time
I don't know I don't know because
even for Herbie like fan bases will go after Herbie
but for the most part people like how
he calls a game like if you actually go through those replies
in my tweet I didn't see one person
actually that's not true one person did say like
dude come on man he's awesome and then I responded to him
and I was like wait are you serious and he said no of course not
So, if you look through the reply, it was, I've never seen a unanimous, like, yeah, this guy's ruining football ever in my life.
Really?
Yes.
That's surprising.
Chris's been given a lot to the game.
Well, that's the thing, too.
So when I looked up, like, okay, fine.
Like, I only know him as a broadcast.
Let me go look up his highlights as a player.
And then the only thing that came up was this really weird interview.
No, yeah, he played football.
Yeah, great, great football player.
Great bangles received.
He's been given a football a long time.
Okay, Texans get a mass of 44.
10 win in Baltimore.
Baltimore, interesting.
Interesting.
Now, there's a lot of people calling
for hardball.
And you heard Tony laugh.
Literally, he was celebrating in the suite
as the Texans were thumping
and throttling this
Baltimore rapist team.
Athletic.
Well, he passed the athletic test, I think,
whenever he played down in Georgia,
whenever we watched him play against Georgia,
he was able to run a lot.
And C.J. Stroud has obviously
had a lot of bad things said about him
as a quarterback since his rookie year
and his Texans team, I think a lot of us
are confused on what they are or where they're headed.
There's no confusion about what this Baltimore
Ravens defense, I guess, at this point.
They're not really able to stop anything.
And on offense, they don't really know what's going on.
But to their kind of point,
their top seven paid guys, six, seven.
Top seven paid guys were all out.
I mean, this is disgusting,
the injury bug that it's hit the Baltimore Ravens.
They're nowhere near the team
that they thought they were going to have going into the season
at this particular point, so early
in the year. So it sucks for them.
And Bruce yesterday, all he kept saying is
they're this year's Niners. They're this year's
nineers. Last year, the Niners, obviously
lose Christian McCaffrey like four days
before the games our season starts. Then they have
injuries riddled throughout and they just have a year
that's just like a terrible year.
Like four wins, five wins. And we all just
kind of say, man, what happened in the Niners? That kind of suck.
Is that what we're standing down here for the Ravens?
I think that is what everybody
expects. Now, you heard
Shepter give an answer to wit there.
They got the Rams coming up, and then they got a buy.
If they were to give Lamar two weeks and then try to make a push late,
I guess they could maybe make a run at it.
But this is not what we expected from the Ravens at all this year.
And that injury bug's real.
And if it attacks your roster, especially your top seven paid guys.
I mean, you're in a bad spot regardless of who you got doing anything.
This is not at all what we expected.
They were, I believe, the favorites to win the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season.
And yeah, the injury bug has hit them hard.
but the last two weeks, Derek Henry has eight carries for 42.
Sorry, let's just go back the last four weeks.
11 for 23, 12 for 50, 8 for 42, 15 for 33.
Derek Henry's not hurt.
Like, give him the, like, if you're, Lamar's out, you thought he had like six carries for
seven yards in the first half yesterday.
Yeah, they were down or whatever, but like, we did this last year at the beginning of the
year for the Ravens.
Derek Henry wasn't getting a bunch of carries, and it was a talking point every single
week, and then they just started to feed him, and then they took off.
But, like, you expect these type of organizations,
to be able to overcome these type of things.
Yes, this is the first game Lamar was hurt.
This one, you can put aside.
But the other ones, Lamar was healthy.
You kind of expect them to over.
Steelers wins the playoffs with a duck hunter as their quarterback.
Quack, quack.
He was a great player.
You expect these great organizations to potentially overcome these things
and at least put out a better effort than 41-10 or whatever.
John Harbaugh last year, remember, we're not giving Derek Henry to ball 20-30 times game.
And then they started doing that.
Is it as easy as that for the sponsor of a Ravens?
looks bad all over to us.
So, but yeah, they weren't even competitive.
You mentioned once you go down a few scores, you know, you kind of take Derek Henry out of
the game pretty much, and we know the fumbling issues you had coming into it.
But, you know, the Niners, this year, we talked about Niners last year, shit.
They lost the start quarterback this year.
Ayuk still out.
Kittle's been hurt since week one.
Like, they – did they win?
But Nick Bosa, he's out for the year.
So, like, you can look at the roster and say, yeah, we're banged up.
But Mac Jones, you go out there and you put a good effort for – like, for Cooper Rush to come
out there and throw three picks, and that is a very, very tough defense. And we also thought
Texans coming into the season would be competitive. They could turn the corner, actually
protect C.J. Stroud. So they're kind of hitting their stride a little bit. But I didn't
expect. I know top seven guys, I don't know if we've ever seen that, but I didn't expect to be
that non-competitive. No, and we can talk about the Derek Henry thing because that is a big deal.
I mean, we saw what happened last year when they basically stopped doing that and just gave
him the ball. But, like, their offense hasn't been the problem so far this year. Yesterday, it
wasn't great, but Harbaugh said
yesterday after the game, hey, I'm sticking with
Zach Orr, you know, and everyone,
every Baltimore fan just killed him for it.
But it's one of those things where
typically good, like injuries are going to happen.
It sucks, obviously, but good teams
just find a way. Like, you just, you can't
waste a year of Lamar and his prime.
You just can't do that. Because, like, I get the Purdy thing,
but with last year in the Niners,
Purdy isn't Lamar Jackson.
You cannot waste a year of this guy's prime.
God, be a shame.
They're still favorite. When's the last time?
When's the last time?
they were one and four oh shit ever with hardball what tone was about to say there is they are
still the favorites of the afc north to win the a that's crazy crazy i don't know if you can short that
what was that guy who was a drummer but he was also michael burry yeah what was the big short yeah
i don't know if we can we do that i don't know if you could do that it's probably find a way
predictive you could you could if you there was a predictive market that you could do that for
2015 they started like this and they finished five and 11 i just got stat from the back thank you for pulling that
11 so they kind of just kind of punted on the year it's loud about hardball though yeah j isn't it's
louder about john harball than it has been in years past it feels like now it's definitely started last
year i mean and probably year before that anytime you're anywhere for that long of a time some people
can get sick of the message and the messenger at the same exact time and if they don't have success
it's like well how much more times this guy need to build a culture that has success and we saw
bill belich uh super bowl every other year for 20 years is that what we're doing here or not doing it's like
top guys all your top guys hurt that sucks that is obviously bad news but it's been loud about john
harball a jay it's been louder yeah like it is it's a weird thing when a guy has been there for as long as
he has and i don't know and i guess they haven't haven't gotten over the hump you have the talent
like lamar he doesn't have a ring yet it is weird like you lose two games in a row and they think
oh we need fresh we need a fresh voice we need to turn the page and you know grass is always greener
and I don't know the answer.
I think our ball is obviously proven to be a great, great football coach,
but when is the time when they do move on and they do need a new voice?
I'm not saying they do, but it is a, it's a weird thing.
People want to get rid of coaches after a week or two sometimes.
Coach Saban was talking about it this weekend, a little bit of dinner,
about how everybody just wants to move.
Who are you going to hire?
That's a good question.
And then how about when the people, in the NFL,
you'd hope that there will be another great coach just right around the quarter.
Congrats Callahan.
Yeah, that was awful.
golly
golly is a good way to describe
up until that I was happy for
I was happy for stress levels
and everything about it like good win for them
how about him watching a football
gods just kind of turned crazy
this is crazy by the one yes
which is by the way this is the type of thing
that would be happening to
you know the Titans
this is something
all the things that happened
yesterday in that game
for the Titans would be something
that the Titans would
this would be something that if the Titans player
did we'd all say
of course this is what happens down there in Tennessee
and said it goes their way
snap off the face it goes their way
and then in the end they end up
when it Joey Slash sneaks one in the side door there
sneaks one in the very close
to the side door that this play right here
I mean absolute Murphy's law if you're there
for the Tennessee Titans
it's like
Callaghan had to be wondering what the hell
this is usually my life what's going on on the other side
So good for him getting a big time win
and congrats with Cam Ward getting his
word. Dude, that was bad. I don't even know what
AQ Shipply's thoughts are. I could imagine.
Yes, yes, I forgot about that. For the Arizona Cardinals.
That was almost a miss there. We sneak it in the side door.
Shout out to Slide doing that. And what a moment
legitimately just in the history of football. And then
Kyler Murray has to own that their team lost that game. And Gannon
I'm sure is not slept since the moment that game ended.
The internet was asking, and I honestly had the same question because Kyler left the game.
Did he get a concussion from that snap?
There's a chance.
That's a lot of heat on it.
A lot of heat.
They checked him for it, right?
Didn't they check him?
I mean, he didn't he even know where he is?
Great snap, right to the face.
Yeah.
I mean, just like Danny Dimes.
The old buddy pats him on the head multiple times, sorry.
Yeah, gives him a little waky, wiki, wiki.
Give him a little waky, wiki.
Fitz said the thing he likes about Danny Dimes is all the weapons are tall, and he's hitting everybody right in the face mask.
Good jump on the edge there.
It might have been a sack anyways.
The ball ends up hit him in the face.
Baker Mayfield and the Bucks head into Seattle and win on the final play.
The last two wins have come on the final play.
There are four comeback victories and won this season.
They might be team of destiny.
We started chit-chat about this earlier.
With the way they've been winning games, how they've been winning games,
and everything that happened with Baker Mayfield and his football life,
especially whenever he gets booted out of Cleveland.
And then he starts on the punt block team.
I mean, ball is banking off ahead.
Levanté David, not even seeing the ball.
and then just closing his hands, getting an interception,
and then them going on to get a huge win in Seattle.
This is just week after week after week for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The football God seemingly blessing this team that we've loved to watch
and their uniforms were definitely filthy yesterday.
AJ, is this a team of Destiny down there in Tampa?
And is it because Cleveland?
I might have a little bit to do with Cleveland,
but it does feel kind of that way.
This was an awesome game.
Talk about two high-level quarterbacks.
These guys both played awesome.
Obviously, Sam Donald, they get that ricochet.
pick and obviously that ricochet was due
to pressure that they were bringing against
him, but man, like, Baker looks so
confident, it looks so good. Also, Sam Donald
does as well. Like, look at this time he
has, too, to throw. These are two teams
I think, obviously the bucks, we know how good they are.
I think the Seahawks, too, because of the whole
West Coast bias, people sleep on them at
times, but I think they are a real legit
contender in the NFC. I love
that Sam Donald is doing what he's doing
right now, which then leads right back to
the Minnesota Vikings.
Get a huge win over to Cleveland
Browns at 9.30 a.m. over there in London.
Dylan Gabriel's first start in the NFL.
So I'm spinning a little bit.
Debo, what are your thoughts on, D.G., as he does his first start for the Browns in London time?
He looked good. With the young quarterback, you always need a run game.
I thought Junkins looked very, very good as well.
Fannie Jr., another rookie there, so they drafted well.
But, yeah, the moment didn't look too big for Dylan Gabriel at all.
He stepped up to the plate. He looked good for a first start.
Almost stole the win.
And then on the flip side on Carl, Carl got it done.
Big time win, Justin Jefferson is ridiculous, regardless of who's throwing the football.
He's always going to make his plays.
And Jordan Addison, coming into the game with some, I guess, some disciplinary issues.
Yeah, Mr. Walker or something.
Yeah, that's a big deal.
That's a huge deal.
We talk about it all the time about the things.
He was going to look at Buckingham Palace.
Camp Bynum was here.
And that happens, too, especially with these overseas trip that happened in my rookie year when I was playing for the Patriots, a veteran, came in a late one of our wide receivers as well.
But yeah, he still, for him to show up and make some big plays, the biggest plays down the stretch after being bench.
So that's a big time for him and then Justin Jefferson kind of spoke about it after, too, like, hey, I need to do a better job of taking them under my wing and doing these things.
But for a guy like that, you've got to be a pro.
It's time to grow up.
You already had some off-the-field issues.
You are very, very talented, like lock in and, you know, reach your full potential, but a huge win for the Vikings.
AJ, they're calling him Carson Wins, bro.
Yeah, win, because that's all he does win, win.
except for last week. He just, you know, and maybe previous stops in this whole thing.
Kevin O'Connell, Carson Wentz, get a big time win. Dilling Gabriel obviously has his moment
and proves that he's going to be an NFL guy. Carson Wentz still doing it, AJ. What's your takeaway
from 9.30 a.m. kickoff Sunday. I love watching. We talk about all the time, obviously, Justin
Jefferson, just out of this world how good he is. But I just love watching Carson. He has,
he plays with a reckless abandon. He does not care about his health and safety. He doesn't care
about anything like he's just trying whatever he can to get a win and honestly
huge uh huge drive by him huge touchdown pass to win this game like the browns could
the browns should have won this game most likely but you know cleveland fans say that's the
browns it's what they do but when you have a guy like like justin jefferson this is pretty
awesome to see but carson lines i mean people i think i think people don't really give him the
credit that he deserves he was slinging it for a little bit in this league early on MVP MVP and then
he gets hurt on a quarterback sneak i believe and then obviously big richard nick foles
comes in, leads them to a Super Bowl.
Then it all collapsed in Philadelphia, either from egos or personalities or who knows what
takes place.
I don't know if we're ever going to find out the real story.
Then he bounces around, comes here to Indy.
Thought we had one.
He walks into our downtown office.
Wow, this guy's a giant.
This guy's an absolute giant.
Then I followed him for a season.
I still don't know how his parents survive.
I still don't know how his parents have been able to watch him play sports or this sport
for his entire life.
I assume he's played this way his entire life.
Every play could be the greatest play in the history of football, every single one of them.
The ball is in play could be the best play of all time.
And whenever it hits, it's great.
And if he has Justin Jefferson down there somewhere, he's going to continue to let this thing go to Justin Jefferson if there's an opportunity for it.
I enjoy the way he plays.
KOC could be the guy, but this goes back to the Sam Darnel conversation with the way Sam's playing right now.
If Sam was still with the Vikings, or Aaron Rogers with the way he's playing,
if he was with the Vikings.
Would they be in a much better position
than they're currently in waiting for JJ
with Carson Wentz playing football?
And I think Carson almost got hurt.
There was a guy named...
I hurt.
What was the guy's name?
There was a guy that was about to go
and I've never heard him.
We all had probably the same.
He had probably the same guy.
He has holding his helmet on his head.
He looked very uncomfortable.
I'm like, who's this guy?
This guy's going in right?
You did this?
The same thing.
It was on my TV.
Brasmer.
There it is.
Max Brausmer.
Max Braus.
Oh, yeah, Minnesota.
It was on TV in like,
kitchen area hanging out with
McKenzie, I look up, I see this guy
holding and then he's shoot on. Carson, he's heard him like
that guy's not a quarterback because he was
walking behind everybody looking at no idea
where he was. Carson went to the locker about.
Oh, no, who's this guy? But I
would have assumed he did good because
Kevin O'Connell's their coach. But if
you think about all the options he potentially had
looking at the year, it's interesting
where they are. Because I think they have a great team.
Will they still be? We shall see.
We shall see because I love their defense.
I think the interior line definitely needs
to figure it out.
But, yeah, when you're seeing what Sam Darno is doing out there in Seattle,
and you can just imagine him being another year more comfortable in this KOC offense,
who knows what that'll be?
Who knows what JJ McCarthy will end up being, too.
I know right now, before he got hurt, he didn't look like the guy.
We'll see how he looks when he comes back.
But with this game, did we get any fun factoids from McQuade this week or no?
Yeah, did we get anything from McQuarrant about another UK Ireland game?
No factoid.
at least I wasn't sent any fact toys
but I did see a studio show
with McQuaid from Sky Sports
I'll try to find that and send it back in
it was exceptional. Exceptional coverage.
Basically he's just sitting there in the studio
and recap in the game and yeah let's just say
McQuade knocked it out of the park.
I did see a post. There was 32 jerseys
at this one. All 32 teams represented.
We played in London. It was not just
32 NFL teams. There's probably every baseball
was also and NBA jersey
was represented. Just American sports was kind of
But I think that is the difference between the Ireland game.
That's what McWade was trying to say.
A lot of Americans traveling to Ireland for that particular game.
I think London is viewed as like a, I think they say the Germans.
A lot of the Germans come.
A lot of English people and Germans are at those particular games.
So it's a celebration of American sports.
Have another one this weekend.
Yeah.
Yeah, we do.
9.30 a.m. football again.
It's a good time to be alive, AJ.
On that note, speaking of good time to be alive, Mark Sanchez.
Okay, so we all followed this story on.
the internet as it was unfolding.
Us, I think, a little bit closer because we're from Indianapolis.
We live here in Indianapolis, and I love this city.
Like, I'm very thankful to be here.
So whenever I saw that Mark Sanchez, who was here to call the Colts Raiders game,
ended up being stabbed on Friday night or whatever, it was obviously alarming.
Like that was like, oh, no, this is not good.
I do not like that this is happening in our city.
This cannot be what we're known for.
And everybody that was reporting, it was like Indianapolis, Indianapolis,
Indianapolis and obviously got highly politicized everybody's talking about how bad and this comes
just a couple weeks after Warren G was on a podcast and said that Indianapolis dangerous city or whatever
and obviously there are certain parts the Warren G yeah regulator yes mount up yeah he said it
I think it was a couple weeks ago about Indianapolis so there's a lot of conversation it gets
highly political and then as the details continue to emerge it's like oh no this is a
incredibly disappointing situation that took place in a part of downtown where I think if you were to probably just give a good guess, I think there was a lot of potential boozing going on. I think there was probably a lack of memory of what happened. Does not excuse it, but I'm just saying as the details, Mark was the aggressor, I guess, to this box truck driver who's a 69 year old man. They end up getting into a fight allegedly from reports that we've been told. And Angela Ganoe here of Fox 59 News in Indianapolis.
I think she was live at the time that it was all taking place and continue to cover it.
I think she has been the authority basically on what the actual reports are in the interviews
and actually reports going on.
And she's from Indianapolis.
And I think she took a lot of pride and like, hey, you're bearing our city right now.
This might not be the story at all.
Never want anybody get stabbed.
Don't like any physical altercations.
But allegedly from what's being actually reported and there's video on it.
And I appreciate the Indianapolis Police Department being so quick on this being like,
Yo, yo, this is not the case.
Him and he, I guess, aggressor to the 69-year-old is what's being reported.
And box truck driver in truck, get out, there's an entire thing.
He said, hey, you keep, I got a knife, ends up stabbing him.
Pepper sprays him, tries to stop, but it ends up.
There's like a full altercation, a full fight that's taking place.
And then reports have come out now of a 69-year-old box truck.
His entire cheek is like sliced up here.
Once he's getting 69 years old.
He's in the hospital.
he's in wires too as well
like he ends up at best
Sanchez obviously
there he had him a critical condition in one point
anytime he gets stabbed obviously it feels like
you're always like this far away from
something potentially being catastrophic
so it's like incredibly terrible
event took place here in Indy but it's like
what it was initially being reported
about the city I don't think is accurate it just seems like
it was a terrible
terrible terrible mistake made
while probably very
intoxicated they are charging
him with Mark Sanchez with a
felony, I believe, a fifth-degree
felony, which carries a one to six
year charge and
everything like that. So happy, it
sounds like both guys
okay. Yeah, alive. Is he at the hospital yet?
Sanchez's still in the hospital? I think he was,
yeah, then he was booked. He's out, and he's already made
bail. I think his bail was like $300
bucks and then. Yeah, because it was like a bunch of
misdemeanors and then. But that was before
they charged him with the felony, too, so I don't know.
Yeah, so tomorrow is his hearing, I believe.
I don't think he can leave Indiana
now because he's been charged with the felony.
And he has a court date set for November 4th.
Oh, okay.
Angela Gano has, can we put this up, please.
Angela Ganoe, once again, she's literally been on it the whole time.
Judge just granted the motion to waive initial hearing for Mark Sanchez.
A pre-trial conference.
His next first court date is set for November 4, 2025 at 8.30 a.m.
So it's like terrible situation.
And our city does a lot of hosting, you know, like a lot of hosting.
A lot of people come from out of town.
So whenever the reports are like Indianapolis got, it's like, that's,
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Like downtown area, hotel, everything's set up. We are a big, we, we enjoy people coming to our city. And this incredibly sad. And then another incredibly sad, Tyron Lacey's story coming out from down there at LSU. I mean, this is heartbreaking, disgusting. You name all of it. LSU wide receiver, obviously ends up killing himself in a car after he crashes his car into a pole or an off bank.
and this is on the same day he's about to get charged with vehicular homicide and it's it didn't happen
like the reports of what he did were completely wrong and his lawyer in postpartum at his funeral told him
hey I got your back here he comes in here at the end Karen Lacey so that's the accident that takes
place that is obviously the topic of all the charges that take place there's Karen Lacey in the
green charger there they're saying he was 74 yards behind
the actual hit or a hundred yards behind the actual hit crash whenever it happens he does drive
around it he ends up getting charged for this entire thing and ends up killing himself in before we even
get a chance to see what he could become uh what he could do for his family his community and
everything like that so this is another thing that was just like false allegations falsely reported
changed his entire life and then now we're finding out after he's dead that he didn't do it's like
Like all these things were kind of happening at the same time
And it's like just not
It's not good we gotta get that shit right
That can't that can't be
That Karen Lacey's story sad
Did he get to the wreck afterwards or something
Like he after that he got in a wreck
And then they accused him of causing the initial arrest
So that was in December that particular crash right there
He was getting charged for
Okay he was getting very serious charges for
And then in April is when he ended up taking his life
Allegedly he was at a family gathering
beforehand like a cookout or something like that
something took place, and then he leaves, crashes, and then shoots himself afterwards.
So I couldn't even imagine the pressure in the street.
This is when he was going to get drafted.
The whole world thinks he's the worst person on earth.
That basically plummeted his draft stock, and it was like, okay, you can't draft this guy.
Like, look what's going on.
And, yeah, look, I mean, none of it fucking happened.
Sad.
Yeah, I don't understand how something like that happens.
How does this not come out until this point?
I've seen some of the, like, the body cam footage and some of the other stuff.
That can't happen.
Somebody's got to pay severe.
Literally for doing that type of shit to railroad him, because you talk about his, you know, obviously it plummeted his draft stop, but literally in his life.
Ultimately, and not only just his life, just think about his family.
Like, you know, the people that care about him, people are loving teammates.
I saw a lot of his former teammates and coaches and people that were close to him.
So it's just incredibly sad.
I don't understand how this, something like this can happen.
Hats off to his lawyer for, you know, sticking to his word and sticking to it and getting to the bottom of these things.
because it is tough a lot of times
when things are getting covered up
or pointed in a certain direction
to actually get the truth out of it.
So shout out to him.
Obviously, it won't matter to Carl and Lacey
at this point, but at least his family.
Clear his family, yeah, everybody.
I mean, because what was being reported
was just matter of fact.
Yeah.
Like what we were reading and everything
was like, nope, this is this.
We got witness here.
Now we're learning about why
and how the witness came to say with it.
And it's like, that's nasty work, dude.
Like, why?
Yeah, what?
Tees and peas.
We are so sorry about all this.
Obviously, we can't do anything other than that at this point, but that sucks.
And then for 69-year-old Mark Sanchez, happy you guys are both alive.
And whatever ends up happening here, it's like well-deserved.
And hopefully this changes a life a little bit.
There's some things that need to change, too.
I need to talk about that.
These sky camps?
AJ, have you seen this?
Come on.
Oh, yeah.
I thought we were way past this.
This is, this can't.
Okay.
Great shot.
So, listen, the sky cam, in this particular case, maybe doesn't know,
oh, boom, off the head or hitting a sky camera down.
Wait, what?
Yeah, Justin Fields throws a rocket.
Bang, off his forehead.
That thing takes off at about 30 miles an hour, right for it.
Let's go back to the side angle.
I'm not 100% sure anybody could have caught up to this ball.
I know D-Lyman are incredibly explosive.
That ball's going very quick at that spacky.
I think that thing's gone.
With someone around them.
Like he would have had, I mean, I think he would have had to 4-2 that thing.
I think that thing's going really fast that way.
But we'll never know.
Guess what it was in the way?
The Sky-Kat.
Let's go to the thing that the Sky-Cam has been attacking forever.
Kickers footballs.
And nobody believes anybody but the kickers.
This one, I'll tell you, I don't know.
It's close.
It's a pinky.
There's a Sky-Kan wire there.
It does turn to the right.
Is that because of the pinky right there?
or is it because it hits a sky cam wire right there,
where it starts to get a little fatter?
I don't know.
We shouldn't be that close, though.
We don't know.
But also, on that note, like, don't know if it hit the sky cam wire here.
No, it definitely hit a pinky there, good block by the year of the block.
That's the Browns.
Almost for the Cleveland Browns.
But we shouldn't even be having a discussion on whether or not it hits sky camp.
Get the thing out of the way.
Get the thing.
Now, that's in Europe.
Okay, so maybe it was a soccer.
Yeah.
Skycamber?
Sure.
Yeah, maybe it was a European, didn't know where the ball was going there, say out of the way.
We're not 100% sure, but we can't have a sky camera in a way.
We appreciate what sky cam is brought.
Love it.
We appreciate what sky cam is brought.
We love the view.
We love the angles.
Can't begin and again.
Is this a sky cam, trying to make a name for itself?
Could be.
Maybe.
Talk about how important it is.
Watch this.
That's what just did that happen.
Exactly.
I can do this any time I want.
I'm just like any other.
drone out there. I could take over whenever I
want to take over. Let me go spit this thing out. I don't love it.
It's a joke. That's a lot of ball too, right? If we catch that
off the Skycar? I think Bank plays, yeah.
Actually, they'll play that dead. They would definitely
make it good again. I think they would definitely run
to play again, except for in this case, they didn't do that, which
everybody got mad about. No, so if this
say, regissets right down and I catch it, go pick six.
I've got a replay. If it catches the SkyCam
at all, like Dallas's, like when it used to hit Dallas's
old big screen, remember what it was low?
Yeah. Was that dead ball? Yeah, they had
change it to replay of down, but they didn't do it
in this case. Everybody was like, what, well, imagine this
happens to a big game. Imagine this happens to the playoff game
honestly, like a playoff game at some point
in a huge game that means something
and it truly does affect the game, like then what?
And on that note,
I don't know if the Jets and Justin Fields
are going to make the playoffs this year and go
on a run and maybe have a sky cam moment,
but he should feel really good about his arm strength.
So I play volleyball
in high school. When you
would hit somebody, boom, with the
ball, and he would hit off their chest, bang,
and it would go up and out of bounds somewhere.
It felt like a king.
This dude threw a football so hard off a guy's face.
This thing took off out of orbit and hit the sky cam up there.
Justin Fields should feel good about what he's doing right now.
Now, granted, they're not winning any games.
That's right.
But he should feel good about how that ball's coming off.
And that guy's forehead, he should feel good, too,
about being able to just eat a 90-mile-an-hour football right to the forehead.
Now, 90-mile-hour football is certainly something.
Baseball happened this weekend as well.
you have any huge baseball updates, Ty, maybe that we can all learn about
and chit chat about?
Heard Canada's better than America at baseball.
I didn't know that was the case.
Did you know that?
No, that's not true.
Don't listen to whoever's saying that.
Ty, can you please give us all an update on what's happening in baseball?
Yeah, sure.
To that point, yeah, unfortunately, pretty gutless performance by the Yankees
up in Canada over the weekend.
Oh, no.
Vlad Guerrera, I mean, we could talk through this whole thing,
but, you know, if you want me to just be very succinct about it,
the Blue Jay said about 400 fucking home runs against the Yankees.
The Yankees didn't do anything.
So they're going back to New York
tomorrow, down 2-0 in an
elimination game.
Like I said, just pathetic through and through
for everything that you had heard. So as of right
now, yeah, you could argue that
Canada is better than, you know, at least
New York at baseball.
What about the dude? What do you have 10 strikeouts?
Yeah, what the hell happened there?
Yeah. Trey Yassavage, who
was making, I believe, his fourth start,
struck out 11 Yankees
in four innings, which, again, this is
of the Yankees M.O. They hit a lot of home runs, but they also swing in a lot of shitty
pitches and strike out a lot. Very heavy, lefty lineup, and he was just eating them up with his
split finger all day. So that's not great. So they have to win. You can cut this shit.
So is it their time for their guy to go again? Like game one against the Red Sox, their
ace is as you already gone? That's what it was in the first game. Toronto pitched their
number one guy against the Yankees number four, but then Max Fried, who is the Yankees,
ace pitch the other day and just got absolutely shelled so it'll be we'll see they got to go their
backs are against the wall they were against the red sox uh the other big series uh from the weekend
which the nl only played one game but we had dodgers and phillies show hey on the bump uh for and
he you know he wasn't super sharp but he did calm down you can see strike out early here um schwarbo
boy i'll tell you what schwarbo missed one just very very very
very close in the first inning after we talked to him last week.
And then Shohay hit a bit of a rough patch against the Phillies in the second inning.
I mean, you know, again, a lot of strikeouts from Shohay.
He did pitch well, but the Phillies got to him.
They took an early lead and you're a guy.
Sanchez?
What?
Sanchez.
He was absolutely dealing early.
Of course.
Unfortunately, he did fall apart.
You can see here.
This is J.T. Real Muto, who hit a triple into the gap to kind of get things going.
for the Phillies early. At this point, it looked like they were going to chase Shohei, and that was
going to be it. They were going to kind of have a very comfortable and easy win. This is Harrison
Bader, just narrowly, narrowly missing a home run and getting a sack fly. So the Phillies
put up three early against Shohei, which is kind of exactly what they want to do. But the Dodgers
are so good. They always respond. Teosker Hernandez, three-run Homer to go ahead and put the Dodgers
up five, three. And that was kind of all she wrote. So the Dodgers take a one-run lead.
and kind of saved somewhat of a subpar outing from Shohay.
He did go O for four at the plate.
That's kind of one of the things I was saying is,
hey, you're Robin Peter to pay Paul a little bit there
because he's got to focus on both.
And then the Milwaukee Brewers blew out the Cubs
with a lot of singles.
That's just kind of how they play.
A lot of small ball, just bat on ball skills.
Putting the ball in play nonstop.
They're hard to strike out.
So, I mean, this highlight is basically the same thing
over and over again.
Single to the outfield, single to the outfield,
double to the gap, single to the outfield, single to the
outfield. And they just kept putting
a quarter in the merry-go-round and
scoring runs. They blew out the Cubs.
And then the, probably the
game of the weekend, series of the
weekend, the Detroit Tigers
traveling to Seattle, Terrick
Scoobal, who is probably going to be the
A.L. Cy Young, he
gave up his first multi-home run
game to a player in a little over
four years, I believe, Jorge Palanco
there for the Mariners, hit
a home run early, and then he touches Scoobel again late to give them a 2-0 lead.
And that was pretty much all they would need.
They do get one more from Julio Rodriguez in a little bit here when the game was tied to, too.
So Detroit did have a little bit of a run in them.
Ultimately, though, the Mariners, even the series last night after this,
they pull ahead to it's 1-1 now, and that was the first postseason win in Seattle in 24.
four years.
So like, atmosphere was amazing.
So where it stands right now,
Yankees are down 2-0 to the Blue Jays.
the Cubs are down 1-0 to the Brewers.
The Mariners Tigers is 1-1,
and then the Dodgers have one game up on the Phillies.
So the NL teams are playing tonight,
and then tomorrow night we'll have the AL team.
So, you know, again, Monday night football got a great game tonight,
but we got a couple really good games tonight and tomorrow postseason baseball.
Baseball's delivering a little bit, AJ.
WMBA, the Aces are currently
up 2-ZIP, best of 7
in the finals against the Mercury.
Okay.
Progress the Aces.
The Yankees got to win three straight, Todd?
Sorry, Yankees that win three straight?
Yes, they do.
Yeah, the Yankees...
Wait, so does Asia have to win three straight then, though?
Or the Aces are up?
They're up. Okay.
Yeah, they're up.
So the, okay.
It was a battle.
The first guy, I didn't see the second game.
First game. Mercury are tough, too.
It was like 86, 84, something like I don't forget what the exact score was.
It was a battle, though.
It was a battle, tight in the plus.
Hey, baseball is doing it, or sports are doing it right now.
Sports are doing it right now.
I think the Stars are step.
We saw a big dumper coming around third base, going right there,
and there's that highlight package.
So, yeah, man, I like when the Stars are playing well.
I guess it's good for baseball, maybe.
I guess, is it good for baseball if the Yankees win, Ty?
I think it is.
I don't know.
Yeah, definitely.
I mean, you know, no.
Yes, that's a Boston fan right there.
Yeah, everybody, including myself,
won's Yankees' Dodgers again.
Yeah, I mean, no offense to the Blue Jays,
because they are arguably the best team in the majors.
They just, like, play the game the right way.
but they don't, they have a couple stars.
But yeah, I mean, if the Yankees lose,
you're probably going to see a large chunk
of just, like, the common fans
who, like, don't want to watch
Blue J's Mariners or Blue Jays Tigers.
If you love baseball, it's a great, you know,
it's a great series, but, yeah, I mean, the Yankees have star power, you know.
I don't want to hit,
I see a bunch of guys slapping singles, man.
Yeah, exactly.
I want to see, ding don't.
Yeah.
Which Toronto has been doing.
They hit about fucking,
40 homers against sold.
Did he hit a Grand Slammy?
He did, yeah.
He had a homer in the first game as well,
and then hit a grand slam in game two to kind of...
Hold on, can we turn a sound on, please, for this one?
We don't have it.
Is that Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez going crazy?
No, not just them.
The crowd, do.
Yeah.
Rogers Center, that's a true home field advantage.
The Blue Jays, I think, are like 51 and 24 at home this year,
which is just absolutely insane.
They are so hard to beat in Toronto.
So we'll see.
That's the one with the hotel in the center field, which I'm not going to play footballer?
I think I'll play my last college game for the international ball.
Really?
I believe it was great.
You've been there.
We played Buffalo.
So Buffalo, they travel.
We played the bill is there for preseason.
And you went to a Yankees Blue Jays game there.
And is that where Eliminate?
No.
It might have been.
Nah, probably not.
That was probably where I assume were the Maple Leafs play.
Yeah, maybe.
got into some shit up there
a lot
a couple world leaders responded after I said some stuff
oh yeah that's good yeah it's always a fun time
AJ you know insane just open the phone
what a crazy time no oh no oh no
oh no man I wish I had my plate from 15
yeah that's pretty sweet

box is special Scott Hanson kills it we're still watching right zone yeah I'm
battling still battling I don't like it yep it is tough but I do it's gonna be
impossible not to watch anything we didn't cover Jaden Daniels congratulations yeah
yeah look good chargers and Spencer Rattler first win yeah yeah need that
Routler was 0 in 10 I believe as an NFL starter he gets his first win he becomes
1 in 10 taking on the New York football Giants Jackson Darden the boys look good early
and then the Saints get a big time win.
Congrats to them.
And I think we covered everything.
Boom.
We'll continue digitally where we'll make our pitch for tonight's Monday night football game
and then we'll be back tomorrow overreacting to everything.
That's A.J. Hawke, Dary's Ballers here.
The Tox Tables here.
AP Tones here.
And we can't thank you enough for allowing us to do this for a living.
Who knows how long any of this last, AJ?
But it's an honor to be a part of.
We don't know.
Sports are the greatest.
Congrats to Gabby.
Have an incredible confidence this weekend.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Goodbye.
She was the greatest.
I'm glad you snucked that. I forgot about that.
That was so sick. I can't believe
Herbie could throw it that far. When he came
in here, he could barely hit that net.
Okay. Still got it. Thank you for mentioning that.
There was not a doubt, right?
Was anybody...
I was he? I did not think he was made it.
He couldn't throw it. Do you think he couldn't get it there?
What do you think? Accuracy?
35 yards in a suit. He's 56 years old.
He's 506 years old. I think he could have done it left-handed.
The suit, dude.
That's what Nick Sabin said.
Nick Sabin, when I got back up there, he goes,
I should have had him throw a lefty.
And I'm like 35 yards as a 56-year-old.
That's no problem.
The ball also has a like a plastic seal around it.
You know, like there's a chance that thing slips out of his hand.
It has a terrible problem.
Can you imagine?
So just so everybody understands this.
Gabby Mathis, this girl, awesome.
I mean, I am a huge fan.
She's the third girl.
I mean, he spun at that.
He did.
He really did spin it.
She's the third girl that has won the raffle.
She was there since noon the day before.
Okay, just trying to do her thing.
She wins the raffle.
Has never kicked anything before.
Okay? Chemical engineering major or whatever it is.
Has never kicked anything before.
She's a senior.
And she's like, I want to do it myself.
I'm sure the people around her whenever she won were like, hey, just last week, guy picked somebody who's a good kicker.
She said, nope, I want to do it.
And I'm like, I love that.
I met her in between commercial breaks.
And I said, hello, your name's Gabby.
She goes, yes. I go, very nice to meet you.
Have you ever kicked before or anything?
She goes, no.
And I go, okay, why did you pick to do it?
She was like, I want, I want to do it.
And I was like, that's all.
Yeah, I love that.
I absolutely love that.
And she was like so joyful the entire time.
So then when we go up on stage and Kirk's like, how are we looking?
You know, because it was like other side where I meet, Kirk was over here so he didn't
see her.
I was like, girls never kicked before.
He goes, never kicked before.
I'm like, never.
He goes, why didn't she, did she, could she have picked somebody or did she didn't, I said she just wants to do it.
And I was like, he was like, I like that.
I'm like, me too.
Like I actually like it, mostly because, you know, good chances ain't going in.
You know, I have to do that entire thing.
So then we go out there.
The scene is electric.
I mean, it is an electric scene getting there.
We had to go pretty far.
Couldn't hear everything because of how far away we were actually too funny because of how packed in everything kind of was.
So we get over there.
She, before this kick, she just was about to just.
I love you back.
They go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, she, like, there was no, I didn't even know she,
I didn't even know she was going to go.
She was literally just going to stand there and try to swing at it.
So I'm like, yo, you got to do steps.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, you're going right now.
You're about to kick her back.
Hold, no, none of us already.
We didn't even know you were going to potentially do that.
You didn't even take any steps backward.
She's like, yeah, I'm going to do that.
I'm like, so then Herbie goes, you got to go back here, bro.
You got to come on.
We got to take a couple steps here.
Jesus to try to give a good attempt at it.
And her first attempt, obviously, this one, not good.
Okay, not good.
Topped it.
It was right online, though.
Right on line.
It was straight, not good.
Hope I starts going one more shot, one more kick or whatever.
And she's like, I ask her, do you want to do it?
She's, yeah, I want to do it again.
I'm like, I love this girl.
Yeah.
Just after what just happened, she didn't want to pick anybody.
She could easily say, like, I'm not.
Not embarrassed that she's never kicked.
Exactly.
She's just like, yeah, I'll do it again.
Yeah, maybe the next time.
It was like her blind.
her blind optimism
was so like for me
it radiated like it was
oozing I'm like I like to hear this
I appreciate that you exist
so then I was scanning
I'm like all right is there anybody around here
that looks like they can kick
like that's really what I'm doing
scanning in there scanning in there
I'm like you can pull somebody and then I'm like well
we haven't who knows I can pull some
who knows right yeah yeah
what person comes out of there
so in my head I'm like liability can't just fucking
pull a random person
well Gabby's got a sign
stuff too, right? Boom, the whole thing. Yes. There's a lot of things that go into it all, so it's like, I just can't pull some random person.
Then Herbie's like, why don't you kick it? And I'm like, okay, actually, I'm in pretty good shape right now. Maybe I do kick it. So you watch my brain, like, kind of go through like scanning somebody. Then like, do I kick it. I got my cowboy boots on. There's no grip on the bottom of those. We're on turf. Can I was trying to figure out whether or not I could do a no step. If I could kick it, no step for 30 yards. And I'm like, so I'm judging it. And I'm like, ultimately, I'm not fucking making that. So then I started looking.
around and i look at herbie he's like spinning the ball in his hand and i'm like oh boom like
in my head you should have seen the celebration that comes about like yes you herbie especially
because he's like i'll throw in 200 000 yeah yeah he's like doing the whole thing i'm like all right
herbie let's go ahead so in my head it was not a hundred percenter for him to make this in a suit
not a great throwing ball he's 56 years old 35 yards at least this ball has to be hot yeah yeah
And he does it, you know, like he could have missed that that could have slipped.
So in my head, it wasn't a hundred percenter, but it was certainly at least a way, like, hey, we got a viable shot here.
And shout to Herbie showing up.
Yeah.
That was a great throw by Herbie.
He's genuinely pumped that he helped Gabby.
Oh, yeah.
And I think it was a cool moment, but I want to let Gabby know, hey, your mindset is fucking awesome.
There needs to be more people like you, Gabby.
And me and Kirk both felt it, experienced it, and we're lucky to be a part of that whole thing.
and her pure joy afterwards is so cool.
Like, we need more of those happening.
And now, granted, if I would have just done it
for 100,000, probably the same effect.
Yeah.
I think you can go down.
That's always my thought.
Yeah.
But this is classic, me just being a checkers.
Good thumbs up there by Stanford Steve.
This is just classic me being a checkers player.
Okay.
This is just in the moment.
I just got to get to this spot.
There's no chess being played there.
It's just like,
this could be really awkward television right here
this could be really bad
obviously we never really think about this
what are we going to do and then it's like
as soon as the idea comes it's like yep fucking
king make what's fucking good and then do we have
to do 300,000 probably not
but I don't think there's a better person on earth for that money
to go to so we are pumped for Gabby
good luck in the future and
it's a completely blank slate when we go out there
legitimately as it's being
proven right now part of what makes it great
just live TV bro yeah I don't know what's coming
I guess in hindsight it is kind of disrespect for AJ
To a Herbie, I guess he could...
Yeah, come on now.
Because when you told him,
and I saw him kind of, you know, everybody,
oh, man, everybody does a little one stretch
or a little growing something, and when he did that,
I was like, oh, this is probably...
I was probably 75, 25 that he was going to get it there.
In my head, he was going to make it.
Yeah, there's not a doubt.
But it wasn't 100% or, like, in my head, not 100%.
If he missed it, would you're giving him a second throw?
No, no, no, no, no.
That would have got real loud out of it.
No, wait, didn't Herbie say that if he didn't make it,
that Gabby could just take Peter?
Like, she just gets a dog?
No.
Oh.
Peter has never.
No, I thought that was like, hey,
instead of $300,000, $500,000, you get Peter.
He's a great dog and you can put a saddle on him.
He's making money now, too.
Look at Herbie.
Yes, he is.
You got ads.
Look at that.
Bang.
I'm still impressed by the throat.
In a suit.
Completed the past, too.
I don't know if the camera picked it up,
but I'm pretty sure the other guy.
Didn't he have a sick one to catch the same.
Oh, what?
Dude, I need to get the, oh, I haven't seen that.
That's the whole thing.
Big time tight in.
I need to shout out.
Jeff Brown does an incredible job
with the entire logistics
of the raffle and everything like that.
There's a new production assistant out there,
Tatiana.
Got a chance to meet her a couple weeks ago.
She's new out there.
She's helping run the entire.
Obviously, Herb Street with the holds.
Stanford Steve out there going underneath.
He's always, yeah.
He'll come up to me afterwards.
He'll be like, that one was the closest.
It's like, thanks, Steve.
Thanks, buddy, down there.
So I appreciate everybody that's part of.
We have a same cameraman.
So I need to get his info.
He's running a whole other place.
He's sweating his balls off.
Yeah, I bet.
He's a worker.
Yeah, he is.
Was he the one that told you about the hide dive?
Is the same one?
No, jib operator for DoorDash, been around for like 20 years with the show.
I don't really see him because he's over there.
He's the one night before at Desdice's house, like, can go off that hide?
Nowhere else are you going to be able to go off a high dive?
Just want you to think about it.
Just want you to just want you to know that.
Just nowhere else.
cameraman doesn't have like doesn't have to tell me that you know that was really cool with him to be like
been around a long time i don't know if i'm like do we have a shot of he goes oh yeah we got
got a lot of shot i mean it's have you seen it i'm like no he's like it's fucking right there
like you were gonna be staring at so it's like a good team effort for all these things i'm very
appreciate have you uh it's very expensive are they the same field goal post because they got a long
travel this week yeah oh yeah yeah they are the same field goal post and i'll tell you what i'm
excited to get out there yeah okay
I am excited to get out there to Oregon
because it is beautiful once you get there
and the people are very enthusiastic
and they love ball out there
and they'll be out there in pitch black
which we are incredibly grateful for
it's far though
it's a far trip we're going to Europe bro
we're going to Europe AJ
further almost
it's out there
yeah it's uh
great game I mean at least you're going now
I'm not even yeah
dude think about like mid-November
going there like at least now it'll still
like not be freezing cold
Oregon is still
an unbelievable team
like there are worse times
to go to Oregon
I'd be much more tired
you're talking later in the season
yeah more exhausted
exactly
the morning would be
you know 20 degrees out
yeah yeah right right
we're lucky I'm lucky to be
I'm lucky to be a part of any of this
just won't let everybody know that I feel that way
but whenever Oregon pops up
on the old schedule there is like a
come on
we got to go out there let's go
we get to go out this week is absolutely loaded
yeah loaded
huge huge
I was so pumped.
I was this past, Slate.
It actually turned out, it actually turned out really well.
We talked about how last year there was all those upsets of week six.
It turned out, you know, there was obviously the big one this weekend, Penn State and UCLA was the giant, enormous, huge upset.
Obviously, Penn State comes off that lost Oregon and overtime.
It has to travel all the way across the country.
And they run into Nico I Amalia, who just, he looked good.
Their offense coordinator, New Heisle's son.
I can't remember his Jerry, Jerry, New Heisel.
He was a coordinator for.
Molynaro.
Yeah.
It does have that look.
It talks exactly like Joey Molanaro doing that one might be that might be the bread and butter.
Joey's pulling for him to be very good.
This guy becomes a head coach somewhere in a big spot.
Joey's rolling out of bed into this.
I mean, legitimately.
Four touchdown dogs.
Hasn't called plays ever.
No.
It started on Wednesday.
Unbelievable.
What?
Yeah.
Wednesday found out he's calling plays.
First time ever.
His dad, did you see his dad watching?
That was on CBS.
Yeah.
fucking sick. So cool.
Football is the greatest. Yeah, he did.
Football is the greatest. They were saying, too,
like, he's never operated, like, the headset.
So, like, half, like a bunch of times during the game,
he thought he'd be, like, telling Nico a play.
And Nico would be like, yeah, I never got to play. So I kind of
had to call my own. And that's what he said. He's like,
hopefully we'll have all that figured out next week.
I'll be talking to the right people. He was talking to the booth.
Yeah. He was talking to the booth.
He was talking to Nico. All right. You got first down. Let's make sure we
look through this. And so somebody in the booth's like,
yo. Jerry, Jerry, no, no.
win there's shit
beat Penn State
which is insanity
I hope he was going to be
multi-national championship
winning head coach
me too I hope so too
especially in the moment
and he talked about his love of UCLA
I don't know if there's
I don't want to get in there
they have an interim head coach who isn't him
so I don't want to start stepping on anybody's shit
but like this dude loves UCLA
he carried him off the field
he was passionate about UCLA
afterwards about how great the place is
I don't know how many of those people
you're going to find right now
they want to be a football coach
so on that note
and we're going to get the camera and the security guard
out of the... Somebody hit a wall.
Yeah, that was a
Alabama, Georgia, Texas, A&M.
One of those, it was a red school.
It was definitely SEC. That was terrible.
Terrible. Head fake.
Oklahoma, maybe. It was Oklahoma, maybe.
Oh, that's scary. Scary stuff.
Penn State, though, losing that game.
So, what, they were ranked, what, second preseason?
I think.
Yep. Who was number one?
Texas. Oh, they lost this weekend, too, to Florida.
They beat their ass.
Oh, my God. That was out of control to watch that.
Now, everybody that I was around Friday night, full college football conversation,
it felt as almost if it was a matter of fact.
It did.
It did kind of think.
Like, everybody I was talking to was like, tomorrow, Florida.
It's good.
Yeah, everybody.
Legit.
That's why if you listen to us, make the picks, I'm kind of like, Texas, need them, need them.
But, like, everybody we were around was like, Florida is, A, not an easy place to play.
B, if they don't put them, like, Florida's defense, good.
Like, everybody sees DJ Lagway have like five picks.
The defense keeps them in every game.
Like, Arch is going to have problems.
And if Arch can't get going, is Florida going to be able to sneak through here with the win?
It's like, yep, they certainly did.
And now the conversation about Arch is loud.
And obviously, Napier's got another week to survive.
It's certainly good for him.
It's like chaos, though.
Penn State loses.
Texas loses to Florida.
Absolute pandemonium happening around Ball.
Yeah, those Florida boys, they fight for Billy Napier.
But the game you were at, Bama, Vandy, it was close for a while,
and then Bama kind of pulled away late.
I thought Ty Simpson played incredible.
Vandy played incredible, too.
They just had those two Red Zone turnovers that really cost them.
The score was not indicative, I don't think, of what this game was.
I think what was the Final 30 to something.
Bama had a very, very late touchdown to score.
But I think Ty Simpson looks really, really good.
Yeah, score and cover.
They had a late touchdown to score and cover,
so everybody's just going to think that Alabama really.
dominated. There was a lot of stressful moments
in Nick Saban's suite. We were lucky to be there.
Nick Saban was honored
for going into the college football Hall of Fame.
They gave him a plaque and a whole thing, and
the place went crazy. I mean, the pop was
rightfully insane.
And what I've learned is getting a chance to do
Alabama football stuff with Nick Sabin's really
cool. I would imagine. Yeah, it's really
cool just to be able to walk wherever, talk to whoever,
and even get whatever pizza we want delivered
to the suite whenever we want. But where
he's at, everybody knows where his suite is.
so anytime anything happens
basically the entire stadium is looking
up at him. So Vandy
scores first, big touchdown.
Nick Saban stands up
okay. Tuck's
shirt still has dress pants on
turns it aside and just stands like
I don't know where he was going. I honestly still
don't think he's gone anywhere. I think he
stayed in that spot. Wanted to get up and
move though because he was so uncomfortable just like
so uncomfortable. Then he sits back down
he's got Mr. Terry to his left. He's got
Reese to his right and then they just kind of settled
back in and start watching the game. Then something
bad happens, penalty or something. Everybody
looks back at him for his reaction. He knows
sells everything. And then whenever the good stuff
starts happens, doesn't celebrate.
So like bad things happen. We're all like,
oh, that's terrible. Good things start happening.
We're like, let's go. Nothing.
Jason. We got long games
here still. So he is still,
I mean, yeah.
Locked in. In those games, dude.
He was very, very kind of
Miss Terry and Nick to take care of us
and hospitality was absurd. But
On that note about Vandy,
Bandy's a good team.
They are.
Vandy's a very good team.
Diego's a dog.
Obviously, mad respect to him
and everything that they've built over there.
But Bama is real.
It feels like Bama is real again.
They are.
And then the team that is definitely real,
Miami headed to Florida State.
And the defense put the clamps on early.
And then Malachi, Tony,
the freshman wide receiver
just put on an absolute show.
That's not him there.
That is C.J. Daniels.
The celebrations all night were awesome.
Here's an interception by Miami,
and then the next two touchdowns were by Malachi, Tony,
the freshman wide receiver for Miami and Carson Beck looked really good.
They look fast, they look strong, they look explosive.
They look the part.
Miami looks the part.
And Malachi, Tony hadn't scored a touchdown since week one.
Who gave me that stat?
I think I shot you out.
I was there.
I sent D-Butt.
I get the Miami offense film breakdown that I'm going to do for game day.
I send it over to D-butt and AQ.
Each week I get like what my clip is going to be.
I send it to D-But and A-Q.
This week felt a little bit more personal for Ders.
There's a little personal stats.
A little personal ideas in there.
And big play waiting to happen is what you called Malachi, Tony, the rookie freshman over there.
Yeah, we all saw him week one against Notre Dame.
They even called back probably his best touchdown play with the illegal motion or whatever it was.
But yeah, he is a big play waiting to happen.
It reminds me a lot of another Miami legend.
Our former teammate, T.Y. Hilton.
And whenever he gets the ball, whether it's just a quick screen or a deep ball down the field, he can make that type of play.
And he does the dirty work, too.
He'll get in there a block you saw on CJ Daniel's screen that he took to the crib.
Tim made a huge block.
So, yeah, they are a team that can win in a variety of ways.
They can run the ball down your throat.
They can air it out.
And then on defense, Ruben Bain and Messador.
I mean, they are just monsters.
So, DBs, if the DBs can show up and continue to make those players on the back end, this team will be very, very tough to beat.
Now, ideally, for Miami Hurricanes fans, we'll have Miami, and we'll have Ohio State.
And then they'll meet the national championship.
Get back.
And then we're sweet revenge.
Sweet revenge, AJ.
I'm looking forward to it because Ohio State had another, you know, monster blowout as well.
Yeah, so I actually said a couple times on Game Day because it was my job to talk about that game.
Hey, don't love Minnesota.
Give Ohio State.
You said PJ flex like golf.
I appreciate that.
That was good.
Isn't that right, though?
good shot, yeah. There's like one good
thing that happens and it brings you back for the next
year. It's like, this could be the big thing.
Now, was I saying that strictly
because I was to talk about that
particular game and what should I say about
that particular game other than that?
But for Ohio State, you just go out and handle
business the way they did, I mean, that says a lot
about your team. Traveled to Washington
last year, or last week, that's a long
trip. You just killed a team that
had a 22 home game win streak. You beat
their soul out. And then he got Minnesota
just waiting for you, kind of looming,
Are you going to go ahead and let this one kind of slip past the goalie?
Uh-uh.
They bury them, AJ.
Number one team in the country still for good reason.
Yeah, they're in like a weird spot that like where you're almost using games as a, you know,
an elevated practice for your team to like work on certain things.
That's not like a disrespectful thing.
Like Minnesota is a good team.
They really are.
But you have so much talent.
I guess when your defense is playing so well, you don't have that as much pressure on
your offense.
And yeah, I mean, you can't say enough about Matt Patricia and the studs that Ohio
State has on defense because they are very fun to watch, fundamentally sound, fast as lightning
and super physical.
They're averaging five and a half points per game going into this game.
It's dropped down to five now, I believe, is where it's at.
They're giving up only five points for game, not even a touchdown, let alone an extra
point.
That's what they're happening.
And then I rattled off some of the names.
This was a Tone Digg special going in the game day.
He's like, hey, this defense might be best of all time.
And then you just think of the names that are still there.
Sonny Stiles, obviously, you got Caleb Dons and all the boys there.
It's just like
it's a
Ravelle Reese
Number 8
Arvel Reese
There's a guy
He keeps showing his
closing speed
on Twitter
showing clips of him
the guy
not only
I think he's like
64,
235 can run
like a madman
like just so
he's such a good player
Sean Perkins
legend at Ohio State
before first game day
I'm walking
on this stage
I go
hey what do I
who
just one last thing
for me to say
up there
I'm always asking
to local people
like hey
what is something
and he said
number eight
Arvel Reese is the one
and I go
okay, and I completely forget about it.
I completely forget about it.
I think you had five sacks or something that day, four sacks.
He had a big night, yeah, big day.
He went, like, absolutely crazy.
And I'm like, oh, my God, I could have looked like a genius.
Sean Perkins fucking told me this guy, literally going into this.
That's the guy!
He said that this was, that's literally what he said to me.
He was like, because all the local people know more shit than, like, you're going to be able to find.
Like, the local, Sean works for the Buckeyes has for, like, 30 years.
So he loves the team.
He's taken care of us a lot.
We love that particular guy.
But at all these places, you, like, run into.
somebody, that motherfucker's going to have more
info on the shit that's going on.
If you catch the right person, then any
of the things you can find on the internet
or any of the highlights. It's like, well, actually
this guy,
he's the boy
of bubba, who's with
blah, blah, so he's going to get more opportunities
than this guy.
This guy, though, has never, never quit.
Just continue to find this guy. Like, those
types of things come from the local fans.
Sean told me about number eight. He was like, he's the one
and he certainly has been. The big question about the high of state
defense coming of the year was they lost, you know, they lost
a ton. They lost all four starting defensive line
and stuff like that. And then the coordinator too.
Yeah, and the coordinator. And they're like, oh, they're going
to be up, yes, that Arvall Reese,
Kate and Curry, I think, has five sacks. So like
they just got to wait in the wings. And Ryan
Day, the way he's talking, I like the way he's talking.
He talked about
and a lot of people are saying it's a new Ryan Day,
but he's basically talking about like
right now. Think about how, think about how you're
on those dudes every single day because they are
so good and everyone's pumping them up. Like,
I bet he is coaching those boys tough.
practice is not easy over there.
I assume he's called
a lot of people, Sabin,
Dynasty people.
Hey, listen, how do I...
Kirby.
What is the goal?
Kirby, Bill and New England.
Well, yeah, I was going to say,
Bill and UNC's an absolute,
you know,
I already did my cons for a thing.
I don't want to do it to Bill, too.
Man, that was just...
It was just sad, though,
how after you guys talked to him on game day
and, you know, it's like,
okay, here we go, here we go.
And then Clemson,
it's like a 75-yard touchdown
on the first place.
It's just like, oh, boy, here we go again.
And they really stink.
They do.
It's so bad.
I think he already has more 25-point losses than, like, Mac Brown having his whole run, which is crazy to think about.
But, yeah, I mean, we kind of saw that.
I mean, at least I saw that what coming with, Clemson coming in, one and three.
Dabok in his name.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was almost like a get-right game.
I mean, it sucks to see Belichick and that type of.
Is there any hope, D.
Do they have any hope?
No.
thought. I called some source. Sis. Because Bill said at the end of the interview with us on game day, he said, we're just trying to get a recruiting class. We haven't even had a recruiting class yet. I think there is a thought that their recruiting classes through the draft is how that's kind of being viewed. Remember high school is like draft, free agency is the transfer portal. I think they feel like they got to build culture through draft kind of is how they're thinking. So I think they are very focused on recruiting.
And there's a chance that the sales pitch is like, hey, you can be the one that helps us turn this.
You can get playing time.
So they think they're going to do, I think, this is not directly from horse's mouth, but this is pretty close there.
It's like they still very much believe that, yes, it's going to take some time.
He even answered to me, like, it's a process.
It's going to take longer than we thought it was.
But I think they're trying to build through recruiting when you're hearing a lot of other people potentially transfer portal stuff.
So is it, will it be a viable option?
We shall see.
That's what Clemson was trying to do, right?
Yeah.
Then they get the cream of the crop.
So when you're playing, when you're talking, everything you're doing at the college level is recruiting.
So like that game, they maybe had some big-time recruits.
They all right.
Not anymore.
So like every time they think they can be the change.
Yeah, but I always get worried about the, hey, it's going to be a process.
We knew it was going to take time.
It's like, well, Bill, you're not 35.
You're damn near 75.
So like, I don't know, like that.
I don't think that's what anyone was signing up for.
like, hey, we knew this was going to take five years.
We did, though, didn't we?
Yeah, but, but I think there was maybe.
Remember we looked at the schedule.
We did.
You're right.
We did.
They might win nine games this year.
Not me.
Yeah, I think we all did.
Are people showing up the home games?
It looked like there was a decent amount of people there.
Not the end.
Well, nine years.
They kept running a interview of a student.
I don't know if you guys kept on this.
It was hilarious.
I did not.
What happened?
They were interviewing a student going to break.
and the student was like
I was here for the TCU game
and it's so bad
it's the worst moment I've had them
yeah they said it's the worst
moment I've had on campus and I
failed my physics class or something like
I failed midterms before
yikes hold on is this the interview
right here that we're showing no this is not it
it was weird it was kind of like
it was on the stadium it was
no no it was on like broadcast yeah it was a cut away from the
broadcast probably like eight seconds and then she was like
muted for maybe like last five there it is we found it
and making moves.
TCU was, I went to that game and that was
that was one of the saddest feelings I've had
in university so far and I've failed midterms before
so it's saying something.
Oh boy.
Why did you run that?
Holy shit. Who found that?
Hey, go out and get bad quotes about this thing.
Yeah, for real.
Imagine a producer going, this game might be a blowout.
We're going to need shit late.
Go get content.
Go see how people feel.
You know who it is.
There's a chance.
Because, I mean, when Bill was on the top of the mountain, you know,
he didn't have the greatest relationship with a lot of media people.
So he's behind the scenes now and the guys down,
they're going to take that opportunity for sure.
Yeah, a lot of opportunities too,
especially the more and more we learned about everything.
But, hey, it's the process.
That's right.
Yeah, but I believe that one.
Because he's done it before.
Yeah, but Rich keeps playing good football.
teams.
BYU is a really good football.
They're a good football team.
BYU is a real
Utah's a good football team.
Ohio University with
Navarro playing
quarterbacks, good football.
They're a great football.
Hey, state this weekend.
Especially Athens, Ohio.
That's fucking...
Pitt.
Tough place.
Pit's a great football team.
We beat them.
They won 60-0 this weekend, so yeah, actually.
New quarterback.
You saw that.
Yeah, freshman.
That's crazy.
For everything that Holstein
is done for them, for them
to just go to new quarterback is wild,
but I guess that's tomorrow.
They probably made a lot of problems.
Holstein, a good bit of change as well.
I heard he
He was like number one
in the country
and turnover worthy plays or something like that.
Well, I'm sure that's a real stat.
Yeah.
Which we all know is good.
Did you hear it Connor earlier?
And I have so much left to say.
No, no, no.
But I'm not gonna, okay?
I'm gonna move forward.
That's right.
And I'm just glad it's out there that
the entire, and again,
I'm not saying this sarcastically,
the entire 120 replies
to my tweet all says,
Yes, we need a change.
So usually it's like a good, you talk about,
it's like a good sample size.
And I'm not saying.
It's a focus group.
There's a good focus group.
So right now it's 120 to zero.
X does lean a little negative though.
Sometimes.
There was even a little bit of heat on the,
so I let Coach Saban go last.
I was going to walk out right after him.
I thought that was a bad play.
I didn't like that he was going to walk out like third or whatever.
It's like, hey, you built this entire place, but he also couldn't hear anything.
So I was like yelling for him.
The way they have it set up backstage now, too, there's a lot of people with a lot of cameras.
So like as soon as you exit the production, me, you were, we're in, we're on, which is life and everything like that.
So that type of decision I should have, I guess, thought ahead and been like, hey, coach, you should go out here last because obviously he doesn't know that.
But boy, at this moment, he's walking up there.
And all that's going through my head is full panic.
Like, whoa, whoa, whoa, no way.
Am I following?
I'm following Nick Saban? No fucking way.
That is literally what's going through my head. It's like, no, no, no, I am not following you, brother.
There is no chance of that happening. Let me go ahead and get the hell out of the way, basically.
And then when he went up there, it was awesome. And I saw him smile and take it in, you know,
because I think there was a lot of reminiscing, obviously. And he's like a very much,
watch next, watch next. Oh, $100 million facility we're building for Nick's kids to take care of the next generation
and everything like that in the city. Oh, this.
also happened this also happened yeah like he is still giving back and always on like the next thing
focus but like what him and miss terry have done to that city and what he is obviously brought to that
city was special and uh watching him get that pop at the end was fucking cool man that's like one of those
really cool lucky i got goosebumps and i almost started crying watching this place like go crazy for him
and him like smile and like wave for but it's like yeah dude these you you mean a lot to these
motherfuckers i hope you understand in that video of uh was that you recorded him for dixie land
yeah that's the first time that he's ever sung it out loud and oh maybe in tennessee too no we're
there yeah but like that was the first time i've ever seen like because on the sideline he's not
singing it you know like that's probably like one of the first times where he's actually saying
the word so they say oh he says ex words yeah a lot of people are yeah i love that i love that he's
that he's getting his flowers while you know we always say he'd give people their flowers where
they can still smell them yeah and like the fact that he is this
legend and he's still completely
still with it and there and he's getting all
his flowers and all, not only in Bama, obviously
in the house that he built, but just college football
in general. Now being on game day with you guys
like that kicking off
the freaking weekend
every day is, it's awesome. And that
fucking hallway y'all were into,
that road tight.
Friday show that was sick. Just rebuilt that up.
Yeah. And once again, they're using money that was brought
in by, you know, but Kailin's got his own team
there. Yeah. They have their, Ty
Simpson. I talked to Josh.
Me and Chap?
Yep.
Great to see him.
How was that restaurant?
Ramajama?
Yeah.
Ramajama got good grits around here.
Get a little bag in there,
get a little bit of little eggs.
You know,
oh, shit.
Josh Chapman was amazing.
He had a mug.
I didn't see anybody else in there
with a mug of coffee.
I got like a plastic cup.
Sure, yeah.
Like normal?
Like a normal cup of coffee.
He had a mug of coffee in there.
I think he, oh, with Friday,
I'll come here,
good breakfast of my lazy Ramajama.
It's like Josh Chapman,
four-time National Champion,
two-time as a player,
two-time as staff slash coach down there still with the team obviously living legend but i was
asking him while we're at ramma jama about the team and he talked because he's around him every
single day player development he was like tie simpson like he's got a real leader man he he thinks
very very highly of who tie is as uh not only quarterback but who he has as a player and person
off the field and how he leads and he said he's got a lot of nick in him this guy's got a lot of
And then he also has, obviously, Kaelin and Grubb with their offense.
You know, he's got a good handle on the offense as well.
And he can move better, I think, than a lot of people initially look at him and think it is.
He's a player.
Ty Simpson's a real player.
And I think if they go, it's going to be because of him.
And I think he's the right guys what everybody's said.
And everyone talks about Ryan Williams.
But this year, you could argue Jeremy Bernard has been their best receiver.
He scored in damn near every single game.
And Isaiah Horton, also in number one, he looks the part.
He had early drop stuck with it.
He's like, I mean, he is
a freak show.
Yeah, they got, they have it all
still down there, you know?
Yeah.
They still have it all.
But I did.
I saw Ty Simpson.
Sorry, I saw Ty Simpson early in that game,
looked at the sideline and start yelling and like hitting his chest.
Like, hey, let me throw this thing.
Like, basically opening up, let me take over this game.
It was, that was awesome to see, honestly.
I know I heard you talk about what, what Chap said about him.
That makes me feel much better about him.
Because, you know, if you're not around him, you don't know.
You just know what you see on TV.
When I see how fire he is and how much of a leader he is, like, yeah, these dudes have a chance.
And the way his accuracy is his thing.
Like, you start thinking about Sunday with him whenever you're watching him,
especially with the way he's firing and everything.
You start thinking to yourself, like, this is a Sunday-type quarterback right here.
And nobody had him on any preseason rankings?
No.
Oh, shit.
Nobody.
It was a question mark.
What, a quarterback?
Yeah, because we just didn't know.
He's a guy.
Good for Alabama, man.
Hell yeah.
That was fun to be a part of down there.
I don't know if you saw me in Turbo.
Did you see me in Turbo?
Hey, Jay?
Turbo?
I don't know.
Yeah, Turbo had to sign.
Young boy.
Oh, I thought this, yeah.
Yeah, Pat Warren.
Learned today.
That was good.
He beat you, huh?
Yeah, he was getting after me, too.
He said he was going to put me down, and I said, excuse me, I'm going to put you down, actually.
I'm going to put you down, a little turbo.
And, you know, got a chance running new math forwards before I head out of there.
You know, Turbo might got the best to me this time, but...
Should have chopped him across his chest.
Well, yeah, I'm going to send him to his spine.
I thought about it.
But after experiencing the power of turbo right there in my hand.
Oh.
Yeah, he got me right there.
It's turbo.
Yeah, it's turbo football right there.
I hurt my elbow still dinged.
You need Tommy John, maybe.
Well, I think it's tennis, actually.
Could be.
I think it's tennis elbow.
Not the full UCS.
I got to check that.
I got checked out by a dog.
That's normally what follows an interaction with turbo arm wrestling.
Trip to the doctor.
Yeah.
And I did it.
You arm wrestle turbo.
You might as well book.
a one-way trip to the doctor.
Check out what's going on with your elbow.
And I did.
He said it's tennis elbow.
I just have to work on a little bit.
But, you know, I thought the move was, you got to.
You got to break the wrist.
Yeah, you got to break him down.
It didn't matter what you did there.
I know, I tried.
He got in there early, too.
He locks me up.
He got over the top on you?
Well, yeah.
But he went over top early with his grip.
Okay.
You know, the grip is a big part of them.
They fight.
He does what he's doing.
Yeah.
So, turbo is a vet.
Turbo football.
I should have brought the strap, actually.
Yeah.
And say, hey, I don't like the grip.
I don't like the grip.
We need neutral grip here, as opposed to what you're doing with a strong arm there.
But it also could have been because we're doing it on my knee.
Yeah, could have been.
But he got the good grip early.
I felt it.
Turbo kind of alpha in me quickly.
And then off the jump, too, and I was the one doing the countdown.
I don't know how he had the snap count so much better to me.
That thing was early, strain.
And he took it home.
That's a lot of conditioning.
That's a little cardio.
I got it.
Shout out turbo.
Shout out turbo.
Got a turbo.
Even his shoe on tight, and he did that to me.
Go, Moxie.
You said it.
10 years old.
That's awesome.
How was Theo?
How was Theo?
I thought he was hilarious.
I saw some people obviously utilizing the opportunity to take a shot,
Dio, which I don't love.
They'd do that to me all the time.
We put together a good little clip of all of his things.
Theo Vaughn.
Still bringing it?
Still bringing it.
He knew what he was talking about.
He's a weapon.
And had something for every game, you know.
Then he did get off track one time.
What is the game?
That's the best part
When she does that
Louisville Virginia

Saban hosted something at his house.
How to go?
Well, he's got a Ferrari dealership, so he obviously has a Ferrari.
This thing, four different patches of America's best.
Okay?
Of course.
The artist formerly known as Redman.
Redman. He had one up underneath, like, the radio, but it's a Ferrari, so there's not really a lot of space.
There's a race car.
It's not really, like, built, like, an SUV or whatever.
Then he had three different ones in the radio.
the door.
Were they all the brown flavor?
Or was any greens in there?
All brown flavored.
Sugar-free.
Three in here.
Okay.
One up here.
Then a double styrofoam cup in the middle, right?
Clearly, a spitter.
Yes.
And it's just like anywhere he reaches in that car, there is at least a pouch.
And I thought that was hysterical.
And I asked him, I said, you know, how long have you been?
He said, straight-faced seventh grade.
So I think there's maybe, there's maybe no other.
mouth that has had more
America's best in it.
Yeah, he ain't calling it America's
best. I know that.
He's also confirmed the only
human being on the world who
probably has, just shreds a red
man laying around a Ferrari.
Yeah, it's not the low
Ferrari either. This is one of the
Yeah, right. Of course. Open that door.
Open that door. Literally
looked in there. First thing I see is just
all of them, just in the door.
And then I look in there, there's one there, and then I see the styrofilm come.
I'm like, it's a nice car for sure.
This is fucking awesome that you are still just guy from West Virginia here, you know, just getting here.
What?
Yeah.
What are we talking about?
And then he's got one in there at the time.
He's a legend.
Most relatable goat that I've ever encountered, if I had a guess.
And he also gave Gumpy a little bit, and Gumpy took up the opportunity at dinner, you know?
Had to.
How long did you have it in?
Had to do it, whole time.
Same as coach.
As soon as he was done with it.
I was done with it.
Way to represent.
A lot of juice in there.
Oh, buddy, he offered the bag.
We were sitting just finished dinner at the dinner table.
I was like, I have to do it.
Yeah, he literally pulled it out and he goes, Gump, you want some?
And Gump, app, stands up.
Yeah.
Got those feet dangling.
Yeah, can I keep this?
Can I keep this?
Yeah, he looks like a professional, too.
Look like a Gumpy really took me back.
He did.
He did great.
I fucking bust my phone out as soon as I could.
Yeah.
It's a moment.
This is a moment.
All done.
I got the entire
The handoff, the hand in
The pack in
The pack to the side, the whole thing
Yeah, it was a good moment
The savings are good people
They were really good people
It's amazing that they were able to be so successful
And still remain
You know what I mean?
The people they work with are such good people too
Like Miss Amy you talk about all the time
She's amazing
They're surrounded by great people too
Miss Amy's a weapon
Miss Katie
We hung around this weekend

AJ tonight is a big one for you and me okay i had a rough week last weekend you won that one
and then this weekend you're seeing the board in impeccable fashion wow 10 and three against the
spread this isn't just straight up now i'm nine in four so that's a pretty good
That's a fucking weekend.
That's a great week.
What you can see there is a one-pick swing.
That's funny because there's only one pick left.
D. Butch, we will hopefully have you help us out a little bit here.
Who do you like?
How do you like it with the Kansas City Chiefs going into DuVo?
As three and a half point favorites.
It was Travis Kelsey's birthday yesterday.
Happy birthday, Travis.
Happy birthday, Travis.
We learned a lot about Travis.
and it is Trevor Lawrence's birthday
today. What?
Happy birthday, Trevor Lawrence.
Shite, Matt.
Travis's birthday yesterday.
Trevor's birthday today.
Life of a showgirl,
we learn a lot about Travis
and a good thing just a few days ago.
So the off-field vibes,
I honestly, I think it swings
a little bit in Travis's favor,
but anytime you've got a birthday game,
obviously you've got to take that into account
for Trevor Lawrence. Happy birthday to him.
DeButch,
Florida boy
That's huge
Jacksonville
You've had great games
Against the Jaguars
Yeah
In primetime in Jacksonville
Yes
Now we're back to
Primetime Jacksonville
Hosting
Who's maybe in middle
of a dynastic run
The Kansas City Chiefs
How do you see it going?
You know what
The Jags are kind of
Outperforming where we thought
They would be at this point
And I would say
It's the opposite for the chief
We probably expected
them to be doing a little bit better
The Battle of the birthdays
With Trevor being home
Maybe he went out last night
night got two boozed up.
Trevor. He's a father.
Travis is on the road.
Wifey's doing great things.
A girl got a great album out, doing great numbers.
I just think the vibes are too.
You got the fucking plate here, too.
That was a big thing.
That kind of put me over the edge.
I got the chief on the road covering three and a half against the jacks.
Okay, I believe Taylor Swift's movie about her album was the number one movie of the weekend.
Of course.
I heard it.
It was amazing.
Wait, I saw.
Yeah, smashing machine got more.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, no, no. Good call, actually.
Yeah, I saw the Smasch machine got like 60 or 70 million.
No, it did not.
But that's a tough weekend to debut movie where Taylor Swift decides to come into the movie world,
same exact weekend.
Not that it's the same demo, but any movie that's going out that weekend is tough.
That's very tough.
But also, 15 minutes of innovation, piece of art.
Let's not worry about what the opening weekend.
I agree.
Pump to see any of it.
Also, whenever it starts streaming, we will all watch it.
But on that note, Taylor Swift won the music and the movies.
or Travis going to win to football
on Monday night, AJ?
Who do you like? How do you like it?
Man, I know you most likely will be
picking opposite of what I pick. I understand
that's how it works. I have a feeling
I know where you are leaning, but
I like Jacksonville on this one.
I really do, man. Give me Jacksonville, what,
plus three and a half? Tone. Is that the best I can get?
Yes, sir. All right, you got Jacksonville
plus three and a half? I guess
I got the Kansas City Chiefs
minus three and a half. And then, AJ,
do you think it's going to go over or under 45?
and a half, just in case we're going to break a tie
here. Give me the over.
I like the over, too. We'll take a tie.
You sure? Because the Jags, the Jags' defense
has kind of been holding teams pretty fucking
done nothing. I'll take the under as well.
I'll take the under as well.
So you got the over and the Jags. I got
the under in Kansas City.
All right. All right. Both teams are two and two
to the over and under.
Eight years ago, I blew my football career.
He dropped it at the one yard.

Oh my God, there's hundreds of them.
On October 10th, we came here from the digital world.

Uni-Max.
This is the end of this world.
No, it's not.
I can help you.

One-half of the Hammer.
Time!
Cowboys AP Toner's here.
Nine-year NFL vet.
Darius J. Butler is here.
And ladies and gentlemen, we have arrived at the time that we all enjoy.
It is time to hear how sports fans from around the globe feel,
not just in the NFL on this particular week, but also in college football
and even a little bit of baseball action.
What I did is put out a tweet saying, hey, listen, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I'd like to check the temperature of some of these fan bases, AJ.
You know, I want to know what the actual fans feel about their actual programs.
You know what I'm saying, AJ?
I know exactly what you're saying, yeah.
So I put out a bird call.
I say, excuse me, could you help me out here?
I'd like to learn a little bit about how you feel about your team.
It end up being number one Trent on X.
We appreciate everybody for the best thing.
And the best ones to make the show.
All you got to use is the hashtag, I don't want to overreact.
Ty goes through them.
Let's go through them.
Congrats, Ty.
Another great week I've heard.
Yeah.
Personally, I think this is the best week to date.
Okay, this is from Boston Connor.
Guy looks like a legend.
Sorry, Buffalo.
Just got a call from the window cleaners.
They told me yours is closed.
Hashtack, I don't want to overreact, but...
You're saying that windows done.
Drake May has showed up, and it's now his time to get a drafty window seal.
I mean, look, I just think there...
I won't say it's close, but it feels as though it is starting to shut.
You know, Drake May is approaching one of those, you know,
that could be elite, you know, I don't know if he is yet.
I think Josh Allen has a lot to do with, uh, you know, that, uh, shit, I forgot to pull
up the freaking Jose Cuerva before it started, but, uh, but, uh, but no, it just seems as though
Drake May is on that kind of trajectory, like Josh Allen, as unbelievable as he is,
there really isn't a comparison between his second year and Drake May second year.
Drake May is like very far along, it feels like already and it's really all about this guy.
I'm going to be honest.
After, I don't know if you saw the, like, after reaction to the 52-yarder,
but Drake May, like, pops up from the bench.
He's, like, so pumped going on.
He's literally going over to Vrable to give him a hug.
Yeah, right here.
And you can see Drake basically just stopping his steps because Vrable tells him,
like, hey, still 13 seconds left.
Right here.
Yeah, just stop, Drake.
Just stop, Drake.
And that's exactly what it's all about.
Like, our culture wasn't that.
and now it's coming back
and the bill's window isn't closed
but the fact that they didn't go to a Super Bowl
in six years when the division was just a bunch of pieces of shit
boy oh boy that's going to be a tough pill to swallow
for Buffalo big win for the New England Patriots
and Clyde Christensen
former quarterback coach of mine
was with Drake May in his final year down in North Carolina
which was actually his red shirt sophomore season
at North Carolina and Clyde Christensen said
this guy's got a lot of paint
and I'm right, but, but much more athletic. I mean, much more athletic. This is this throw.
He said this is the guy, Dee, but why is this the one that you need to run on repeat to show people
that Drake May's a dude? I mean, just when you talk about a handful of quarterbacks, we talk
about Lamar Jackson, we talk about Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, obviously. There's only a hip,
Justin Herbert, a handful of quarterbacks that can make this type of throw on the run, on the
sideline. Unbelievable. And you see him do this kind of time and time again. And for him to be
where he is in just his
second year. I know Kahneman didn't give a lot of
credit to Josh McDaniels, but I will
give a ton of credit to Josh
McDaniels because if you watch the tape throughout
the year, for him to be leading a league in completion
percentage, you didn't expect that for Drake
May coming out. You expect a lot of people
compared him to Josh Allen. I don't know if you guys remember
when this draft and it was one, two, three
at the top, I say, hey, this would be my god
that I would take one. Caleb,
I think he will be great. You golfed with him.
Yeah, that's good. Tebow knew.
And Clark. And McLeod. And McLeod.
He said the family. You said the family. You like the family. I like, it's not just the quarterback. You know this is where
AJ, everybody knows this. It's not just the player. It's about the people around him as well. You can tell he was a
humble guy. He was a guy that was always kept in check. He was the younger brother who got beat up on and kind of
it all shucks young kid. And you just see him growing up. And I think that does have a lot to do with obviously
Mike Vrable, but the coaches around him. Stefan Diggs, I think he's been a great teammate as well.
So yeah, I think the trajectory is definitely up. And Caleb and Jaden are all.
obviously very good talents as well.
We'll see with Caleb.
We look great.
Could continue.
We shall see.
Jaden, obviously, a guy.
Deep But said, hey, did you see that throw last night?
It's the one.
And it was like five different throws from Drake May, Poplar, in our mind.
And that's like, this dude's making massive plays.
Even last year, whenever they sucked, Connor was like, we got a quarterback.
Our team stinks, but we got a quarterback.
Special time for New England.
Again, it feels like with Braves at the helm, AJ.
There is another throw.
I believe maybe midway, halfway through the third quarter, they're backed up,
third and seven.
Drake May gets flush from the pocket, completes the ball for a first down to digs on the
sideline.
I'm like, I think they were up by three, maybe up 13, 10 at the time.
But just like as far as flipping field position, keeping the ball, like things like that,
Drake seems to come up with those big plays.
Like how many times we talk about quarterbacks where you're like, there's going to be
a couple of times, two, three, four times in this game when they need to convert a big third
down conversion.
and Drake seems to be on fire with those right now.
Stefan Diggs becomes the first wide receiver since Julian Edelman in 2019
to have back-to-back 100-yard receiving days.
Remember, there was a time where the wide receivers didn't even touch the ball in New England.
Like a 6, 7, 8 straight week time where the wide receivers didn't even get the rock.
And now it feels like they're special in offense.
We assume defense is going to be good.
Yeah, they're actually, I believe statistically now,
one, two, or three as far as total yardage.
James Cook has been over a hundred.
100. He had less than 50 yards. And then Josh Allen, obviously, we forced him to throw an
interception, which Drake made it not. And then we forced two fumbles. I mean, it's one of those
things where like the team is now all out there. There's no, there's no like lingering training
camp stuff. Gonzalez is out there. And the biggest thing, I mean, you can talk about the five play
74 yard touchdown drive to answer after the bills come out at halftime and walk down the field and
score that was huge two minutes left 20 to 20 game on the line what happens like that's when
you find out if you have a quarterback or not and we won bitch we got a guy we got a guy he makes
a huge throw everybody's talking about that whole shot throw being the throw i watched teddy bruskey
like freak out this morning so we got a guy we got a guy we got a guy in the biggest moment
hardest defense he hits the hardest throw in a huge situation on the road and then your kicker
hits this 52-yard
other thing hits the top of the net. That just hit the net up there.
Yeah, that ball, Borrellas
out of Miami, his
older brother kicked in Miami before him
and then now he's up there
in New England. He absolutely
destroys that football.
Outside. Dead center.
Outside. I mean, you want to talk
about having a clear mind. Rookie.
Yeah, first time in this moment, obviously
with a massive AFC East Division rival,
Josh Allen, MVP on the other side.
Sunday night football. He's got
eye black on and he
is completely clear-minded. Love
everything about it.
Congrats to the Patriots. Let's go to the next one here.
Let's stay in the AFC. He's this one's from Gumpy.
That's tag, I don't want to overreact.
But?
That was the worst loss of the Mike McDaniel area.
There's been some bad ones.
Nothing will change because Stephen Ross doesn't care enough
to get rid of Chris Greer.
This Muppet, these knobs.
Obviously, the defense can't stop the run,
but they did force two turnovers.
defensive-minded coach with a QB on a $212 million contract.
Couldn't move to ball in five straight drives after going up 17-0.
They'll tell you this team is going to figure it out, but they won't.
We're four years into this.
And obviously, incredible Grand Theft Auto.
Now, Gumpsh, yesterday you were pretty bummed that.
I did see that.
I did see your little bummed that because you guys were doing it.
You guys were doing it.
So confident in it early.
He was having a great time in the suite.
God.
Waddle.
17-0-0.
It was over.
There was 17-0.
We forced them to fourth and five in the fucking second quarter.
The game was over.
Five straight punts.
You know how hard that is when you're up 17-0-0 on a team and your quarterback's getting $212 million.
I understand the defense stinks.
We all knew the defense was going to stink.
They're not getting paid.
We got an offensive-minded coach.
It just can't happen.
It's going to continue to happen.
McDaniel's not going anywhere.
Two is not going anywhere.
Just run it back next year.
Xavier Leagueette became a guy yesterday for the Carolina Panthers debunkers.
And Bryce Young has a monumental comeback under their 17 points.
There's nothing to sneeze out.
Couldn't believe it happened.
And there was absolute chaos yesterday across the NFL, but I couldn't believe that way.
You got Dowdell?
That's going to happen.
That shouldn't happen.
200 yards.
And it's happened to me.
We had Jonah Gray who came out of them.
What's the name?
Dadeo.
Rico.
RICO.
Dadole.
That's the cowboy.
former cop, right? Okay, I remember Duke. But yeah, you can't, you can't give up 200
fucking yards on the ground to one guy. You definitely
can't give up a 17-point lead to all the points that Gump made.
They will still be there. They'll run it back. Not only with Mike, not only with
Tua, Chris Greer will be there calling the shots as well. But yeah, this is actually,
this is really, really, really stumped. A lot of hope and then absolutely
nothing. It's kind of like what a Miami Dolphins fan's entire season is like just in one
game.
So good for you guys getting a chance to experience a year's worth of stuff
and emotions in one particular ball game against Carolina Panthers.
But Silver lining, we are the only undefeated team in history.
$1972.
Thank you, Don Shula.
Take the tractor another round.
Shout out to Mercury Morris.
Shout to the Eagles and Bills.
Is he got a grandson in the league?
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure.
Chris Shula.
Bring him home.
Bring them home.
That's what has to happen here.
That's what has to happen.
Oh, that's what you want as the next head coach?
Yeah.
He better have as cool as shoes as McDaniel has.
Did you see those little tags, AJ?
A little flippy tag is, yeah.
That would be very annoying, I feel like.
I would rip that thing off, especially after a loss.
Well, especially if you're not wearing full-sized pants, either.
Well, they aren't full-sized.
They're just fashionable.
Well, come on.
Well, just play.
Just coach, man.
Just put a drive together.
We're up 17-0 with fucking Waddle and Waller and Tua and A-chan and Oli-Gordon.
You have all the weapons of the world, man.
17 did nothing to the Panthers and you lose.
That's fucking atrocious.
But the shoes looked cool.
They did.
And in 1972, I'm defeated champ.
Yeah.
Only ones ever, dude.
It was awesome, too.
It was like a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode.
That video, right before you see McDaniels,
you hear someone like tip over like a dumpster or something.
Someone's so pissed.
and then him just walking.
You just hear the little flaps of the tags on his shoes.
Oh, man.
What was that thing?
What was that thing we were growing up?
It was like the skip step.
You remember that?
Oh, yeah.
Hop skip or whatever.
You would have to.
Oh, yeah.
He would jump on the other.
It's like he was doing that with his tag.
He was like,
he was throwing that thing.
Did you not see what the way he was walking?
That thing was moving.
Oh, no, I agree.
I see the visual because I used to try to do that little skip thing too when I was
young and how many you could count.
But yeah, for, I think, I guess once you're losing
and once you realize you lose this,
game that thing in your brain how would you not pay attention to me i got this stupid tag hang
off my shoe everything bothers you somebody pull these pants down i guess you should have used that
one hey good luck bro pull it for you should use that screenshot him walking instead of the gta one that
make it just replace that whole fucking yeah oh shit here we go again let's go to our next over reaction
this one's from john minnet dacus also known as uh john minotonkis which is also known as jimmies from jimmy's
famous seafood also known as the ones who had the parade for those cicadas that came out of the earth
remember they had a cicada parade whatever they invented COVID too right there's a chance it was
in one of their festivals yeah they also host the tail goat where they raised a bunch of money
before Baltimore Ravens game they also have golf outings every single year I think raising millions
of dollars for their community they have the greatest crab cakes that I've ever had their food is
impeccable they're an American dream story yeah this guy but also
Can't get too close to them.
They'll celebrate cicadas.
That's right.
They'll do the code.
Yeah, they always invite us to tailgo, and I say,
I spit on your tailgate.
You shouldn't say that.
That's what I do.
They're pretty rooted with the cicada thing.
I didn't like that because those cicadas were keeping us up.
Do you remember that?
Oh, yeah.
I do not.
So loud.
These fucking cicadas in our earth in Indianapolis,
and I think a lot of places for 20-some years,
and then all of a sudden, something happened,
and they said, yep, now's the time.
And they came out,
and these fuckers had a lot to say
they were saving everything for 25 years
and they were just out there
it was a buzz it was a constant white noise
in Indiana for I don't know maybe three weeks
four weeks yeah middle of the night
everything all day
all day and all night just signed
and then they all just died
yeah it was like thank God
these guys had to do with that
they had a cicada parade
they had a cicada parade
I agree with everything you just said
we spit on their tail go
now on that note I don't think they actually
had a cicada parade. I think we made that up.
No, they have a graphic for it for sure. I don't know
what, I don't know if they're actually celebrating it,
but they definitely made mention of it.
If you're in Baltimore, you need to go to their place.
They got a great bakery too.
It's so good. Hashtag I don't want to overreact.
But, I'm wondering which brand of bleach
taste the best thanks to the 2025
Ravens? Jeez, you got so much good food
over there. Don't be trying to find different flavors
of bleach. Floorox, John.
That's a Steelers fan.
I didn't know that was coming from you.
I thought maybe Gumpy might toss some things out.
Oh, let me tell you, it's been since 72 or whatever.
But on that note, Ravens fans, that's a top spot to be in.
But, I mean, your top, all of your stars, hey, who's paid money?
You're good players.
All of them out.
See you.
Don't have them.
Good luck out there.
And you're not playing your best.
So good luck.
Go out there, do your thing.
And they're not.
And Houston Texans, I think, are thanking the Ravens for this opportunity to showcase what they are,
who they are, not only to the league, but to themselves.
but this Ravens team's got to get it figured out.
Schefter in the first hour basically said
look for Lamar probably two more weeks of rest here
because there's a buy coming up.
Now, he didn't say that that was a definite,
but he was just kind of forecasting,
and we know a lot of people in that building now.
Good luck. That hasn't been fun.
Yeah.
Oh, there is a guy in there who used to DC them
to top five defense who's just sitting waiting in the wings
to take over his defense, isn't he?
Let's get to another overreaction, shall we?
He's pretty Italian there.
This one's from Lewis Roberts at Buddy Loveless.
If you know, you know, hashtag, I don't want to have reacted.
But Nick Siriani might be the first Super Bowl-winning coach ever
that no one can tell you exactly what he does.
Does it run a defense, one to two Super Bowls without I'm calling the offense.
What does he do?
He's a question from that John Lewis Roberts.
Listen up, Lightswitch.
I think he's a CEO.
Yeah.
I think he's a businessman.
I think he's maybe trading a little Bitcoin, maybe, a little crypto on his side.
Yeah, definitely mining.
Always working, definitely mine.
Big Dom for sure, no matter what.
Definitely out there working, doing his thing.
He's a CEO-type head coach, AJ.
I don't know if anybody recognizes him as such, though.
You know, like...
Why not, though?
There's plenty of coaches like that that don't call the offense or defense.
I think it's because mostly he talks shit pretty loudly and...
Sounds like a doofist from time to time.
Sometimes he'll say some things, yeah.
So I think people are like...
So this guy's overseeing.
Vic Fangio?
Okay.
And especially if it doesn't go well, you lose a game, first time, long time.
You lose a game.
Everybody's exactly, just as we said, this guy, and I assume it's only going to get louder for Nick Seriani.
He knows that, though.
He's in the kitchen.
But I do appreciate diehard Eagles fans there going, what's this guy?
I think some of these Eagles fans, too, thought to themselves, GM don't know what he's supposed to be doing accounting.
Yeah, exactly.
Wasn't that said by some people?
I've heard that before.
And Milata.
This guy's a fucking rugby.
player. Was that coming from the same account?
It was, I believe.
Was there a lot of Seriani or was
it for? No, mostly Kevin
Petulow. People have, they've
fucking had it with this guy.
Secom got six carries, is that right? Yes.
That can't happen. Buddy Loveless,
it was great to see you in there, bud. All right, let's go to the
next one. Shall we? This is from
Max at Max Gill 3.
Hashtag I don't want to ever react, but
the culture of best football team in the league.
Not even the Jagg Austin and the media
that daily crank it to the Chiefs
Bill's Eagles, et cetera, can deny that.
The coach are an unstoppable freight train
of a team.
Next stop, Super Bowl, that one.
All aboard. Amen, Max.
Nothing more needs to be said.
Real real deal. It's not a fun story
for people to tell because it's Indianapolis,
maybe a little smaller market. Going into the year,
the fan pull on the athletic, which is the super
active people on the internet, had 96% or something,
like 94% negative thoughts on how the season
was going to go. Danny Dimes comes in here
and wins the job. Yeah, right. They're going to be
Nothing. Yeah, right. We're something. And it's been since week one here. Danny Dimes is
different. The vibe of the team is different. Tyler Warren is different. That defense, we loaded
up. We got real playmakers that are making players for us. And Lou Ann Arummo's defense is perfect
for us. It is our time. It feels like it every time we're in there. Now, do I have a couple
jack and dyes? Maybe kind of boost that morale in that field? Certainly. There's a lot of
celebrating happening with the courts on offense, defense, and special teams. You're going to have to
find a kicker, Spencer, we hope you're okay.
But I'm a believer after watching them.
Yeah, the expectations are huge, so coming into the season as a Dolphi fan, expect it
and probably suck.
Coming into the seasons of Raven fans, probably expect the Super Bowl run.
Coming into the season as a Colts fan, I just think you want to look somewhat decent,
maybe make the playoffs.
I don't care.
I don't think anybody saw this coming.
Should be 5-0 if we don't beat ourselves against the Los Angeles Rams, who is a very good
football team.
So, yeah, every, yeah, well, got to play by the rule.
That's a tough Denver Broncos team.
They just beat the undefeated Eagles team.
So that's a huge win.
So, yeah, I think we look better than expected on all cylinders.
Obviously, got to figure out in the kicking situation.
That will come into effect at some point.
But, yeah, all arrows are pointing up right now with the Colts.
Well, and you mentioned, too, like, yeah, for, you know, on a national stage, whatever,
the Colts might not be, you know, a great story because of all the other, you know,
Mahomes and everything like that.
But think about this.
I mean, there's a chance that the clocks get turned back here.
it's Colts Patriots, you know, in the playoffs.
And that's kind of a nostalgic
game. And then you think about it on the other
side, it's like, Lions Packers is a
very, very viable option in
the divisional or even the
NFC championship. Like,
there are, like, I still want to see
Josh Allen in the playoffs. I definitely
want to see, actually, I need
to see Lamar Jackson in the playoffs.
I feel like they're more of
the Rams last year than the Niners. But
it is one of those things
where as the season goes on,
Are the Bengals, if they continue to crash?
Are they going to ship, you know, T. Higgins or T. Hendrickson are both out of town because it didn't work.
They need to pay defensive and offensive linemen.
They don't have anybody.
And to go back to circle back to your first point about the Colts there.
I think fans don't give Colts the credit at this point.
You know, the Colts get a win, and fans of the other team are like, what?
We're losing to the Colts?
Yeah, fucking right.
I don't think that's how this is going to go this year, which leads to this one.
This is from Charles Nation here.
at sea nation knows
hashtag I don't want to ever react
but whoever thought
Pete Carroll and Gino
was a rejuvenation
Vegas needed
deserves a roundhouse kick
to the fucking hey
Pat's win was a fluke
and his coach team
just dressed us down
so bad they should be charged
with elder abuse
hey more
how many more dumb ass
losses like this
before you wipe off
the client makeup
bring Gruden back
and overhaul
this dumpster fire
we're in the first year
this
they suck
Tom Brady's making
all these decisions
yeah he was
It's probably a problem.
Allegedly, potentially.
We don't know it now at this point.
But the Raiders lost to a great Colts team in a tough environment, 10 a.m. local time.
And these people are crushing them, AJ.
They did.
I mean, maybe the Raiders aren't as bad as people may think,
but maybe they are just as bad or worse than me.
I don't know.
I can't really tell.
But I think the Colts are in a great spot, though.
Just keep flying under the radar, go dominate.
Like, these aren't fluke wins.
They're playing great.
And I believe Fitsy said, what, fit in timing when it comes.
the quarterback play, and that's where Danny Dimes is right now.
It feels like everything is kind of timed up for the right reason.
He's around the right players, right coaches, and he is slinging it, man.
If they stay healthy, the Colts are absolutely a force to be reckoned with.
Yeah, the eye test is real.
It's like you watch them, and even like some of the really good teams, like we just saw it
happened with the Bills and the Saints.
Like the Bills kind of, they played with their food a little bit.
Early on here, the Colts have raised their play to play with good teams, and they've
beat the shit not the bad teams, which is like, if you're a really good team, that
That's what you do.
Like this game should have never been close, and it wasn't.
You know, the Raiders went right down, kick a field goal on the first drive, and then
the Colts were like, all right, now we can just, let's go beat the fuck out of them.
And they did.
Big.
Like, bad, huge.
We're a big team, an athletic team, a fast team.
Physical.
And Danny Dimes is always in control of the offense, which I think is all we ever needed, which
is crazy to think about.
We needed somebody that just knew what the fuck they were doing in the system, which is why
Gardner had success.
And then now with what Gardner was able to do, Danny Dimes can do that.
And he can move.
And, and, and it's like perfect for us.
You mentioned it in the first hour to Fitz, too.
It's like the incompletion where it's like he, you know, he missed him,
but he threw it out of bounds.
Like in years past, when he's with the Giants, like, he throws that too far inside
and it gets picked off.
Like, even like when he's not completing passes, he's not putting the ball in harm's
way.
Like, there's not even, it used to be every time he dropped back with the Giants.
It's like he's going to get blindsided.
and there's going to be a sack fumble.
There hasn't been, like, one of those this year.
Yeah, and on the flip side, too, who was the young person who put the tweet, the Raiders?
Because I was, I was a part of the problem.
I thought Pete Carroll, Spy Tech, Tom Brady, Gino even moving over a fresh start.
Give us time.
They got Brock Bowers.
They got Max Crimes.
He went and drafted Gentie.
So I'm like, okay, they might have some here.
Maybe a playoff berth.
I didn't expect a Super Bowl run here.
but I definitely did not expect them to stink this band.
Turns out O-line D-line matters.
O-line D-line matters.
So cool. He's so good.
But, I mean, everything else, straight to the shit.
Gino looks terrible.
Is he leading a league or top of the league with Browning, I would assume?
Gino.
Which is unlike Gino to throw in receptions.
What's that?
Well, the thing is, after week one, the Patriots lost to the Raiders,
and it was definitely a great game by Gino.
But I remember seeing, you know, Quincy Avery and a bunch of guys saying real Hooper's
no, Gino Smith's great, but I'd argue real Hoopers know Gino Smith will throw for
350 or 400 once in a season and then win seven games.
Whoa.
That's one of the offense in Seattle a couple years ago.
Now, on that note, he has been turned a ball over in Carly Arsay note.
AJ, did you hear that?
I did.
Yeah, that's pretty interesting.
You could say you told the room before the game?
Carly Arce.
It was awesome.
Carly Arce literally have a great chat with her.
It was so cool of her and so nice of her.
And I think, I don't know, it was nice for me to find out what the hell
she was doing but I think she probably wanted like also hey I'm just chart and plays here
just chart and plays here and she talked about the difference between Lou and Rumo's
defense and defense a year's past about how many more options there are like hey we got more
the players got more options so whenever a play is called in there it's not just over like hey
we got adjustments that could be made like we got a lot and the defense is obviously thriving
off that and then she goes we're thinking with the way Gino it comes out we're in a good
spot with who we have to get some Turner we should get some interceptions she's
She said that.
We didn't get any last week.
We need those.
We should get a couple.
So I literally, as soon as she leaves, I go, hey,
she just said that we should get a couple of picks.
That's awesome that she's that deep into this entire thing.
And then it happened.
Like, deflection.
In the red zone.
Yeah, deflection, interception.
It's like, holy shit.
Carl Earsay's got a goddamn doppler radar out there.
Yeah, but she, like, what she's learning,
what she's doing down there, I think is very beneficial, you know.
And she said, like, we're going to be hiring people here for a long time.
Like, I need to know.
who's foolish like I need to you know what I need
and I appreciate them going all in yes
like going all in and also staying out of the way too
but also providing wherever the fuck you need
we paid a lot of money this off season oh yeah we brought in a lot of
money well spent on the defense aside very well spent well spent
did she hit her sprint pregame I didn't see them I don't know
I hope somewhere we won so whatever yeah she definitely did she did
she had these sweet boots on boot shoes on she had like these boot shoes who was
kicking the stigma day
So she had these green, blue, and white boots on,
shoe boot type things, you know,
because she's got to be able to be mobile down there.
Yeah.
I can't wait to see her.
Oh, Holly Row.
Play off a cut block.
Yeah, someone coming on the sideline.
Yeah, it's going to happen.
Very, I mean, very athletic.
These shoes, though, had big pad on the bottom.
Somebody came jamming open the door.
She's standing right there.
Enough room for that thing to gain a little momentum.
Sure.
And, like, I see.
In my head, oh, my God.
oh my god, oh my god, owner's about to get hit
with door, shoe stops it,
no problem at all.
She goes, oh, I'm sorry.
She says she's in the way.
It's like, no, no, Carly.
All these fuckers are, myself included.
We are all in your way right now.
We're in a good spot.
Coach are in a really good spot from top down.
It's very lucky to be.
Let's go to Eric Fletcher at Fletch 274.
Hashtack, I don't overreact.
But I swear on everything,
fucking holy.
If James Franklin is still in that office of his,
this Friday, I may have to just transfer out of this school.
Yes.
I can speak for 99.9% of the student body here.
We're bummed out.
We are bummed out here.
I'm done with it.
I speak for 99.9%.
There's 0.01% somewhere.
But we're bummed out.
This is expectations conversations.
We literally just had it with the Colts.
Whenever you're expected to be great,
especially with what the year you had,
and then you know your entire university is going in.
You know they're spending money.
They're important positions.
You still got people.
Everybody's expecting the year to be different,
and then they lose to Oregon.
Penn State fans,
knew that was going to happen. That's what they'll say.
They were optimistic, hopefully,
but they were cautiously optimistic throughout it all.
So whenever they lose Oregon, they go, oh, well, yeah, that's what we do.
Then they go to UCLA, nobody's even thinking about the game.
Staters.
We beat UCLA, obviously. We still got everything in front of us here.
Still got everything in front of us.
And that game starts going away he's going.
And Penn State people are like, are you fucking me right now?
UCLA, all we've heard is they can't sell any tickets and they're a laughing stock.
Remember, Niko I. Maliava, worst transfer into history,
of transfers since the transfer portal was open this guy going to UCLA to play in front of
nobody for a terrible football team that's what people that was the narrative about UCLA need to
get that jib away from that sideline and also security guy we need you to be able to do what
carly ursa is about doing there happy to see you're okay seemingly but that's a huge huge loss
for the fans because what they think at UCLA is ass cheeks and they were yeah so whenever you
lose to an ass cheeks team the natural reaction is
We're actually the asshole here.
Yeah.
You know?
It's worse.
That is what they think.
And that's where Penn State's at right now.
That's where they're at.
And that's where they're going to be.
And I think that's a tough loss for them at the end of the season to have any combo, AJ.
Legit.
Yeah, you can't let one loss, like, bleed into another game.
Like, I know there was a big, you know, the Oregon game was, yeah, like you said,
maybe they wanted to win, but they didn't fully expect to win that one.
I guess fans, I don't know.
They were hoping that they would.
But for that, it's a tough deal flying across the country, all that.
But, yeah, you can't let that happen.
Penn State's, I mean, they were a couple of plays away from the national championship last year.
They, that's the standard now.
In fact, you have two losses already, and you have some tough games on the schedule looking forward.
It's not great for them.
They're going to go to Iowa, brother, don't they?
Oh, yeah.
And then they got Ohio State.
Yep.
Then they got, I was looking at this.
I use on the schedule as well, I believe.
They got a lot of games.
They might lose four games now.
Like, four shoots.
I don't know how that.
Do you just make Jim Noles?
the head coach is because he's the highest paid DC
and maybe he would be a good head coach for him.
With how big their operation is.
They've got 70 people working in that building.
I mean, just moving on from a head coach,
I think he's a massive,
I don't want to say massive undertaking,
but it is a, with their operation that they have up there,
that would be a huge move.
Everybody wants to do it, obviously,
and James Franklin's had a lot of success up there,
but he's also been there a long time
and they haven't had as much success as obviously,
Ohio State has. Michigan has. Fuck, Oregon came in.
Yeah. When's their last Big Ten championship? Has he ever won the Big Ten Championship?
No. Never?
So when we say like he's had a lot of success, that's just a lie. He hasn't actually.
No, they're ranked number two in a country. I mean, they get 10 win a year.
Yeah, that's sweet too, but like the Panthers started three and oh when Sam Donald was the quarterback.
Like I'd want Penn State to be good because that atmosphere is so awesome.
And they're in a semi-finals last year of the National Championship.
For sure. That's fucking success.
They routinely beat the teams they should beat, and they can't beat the teams that people expect them to be.
And they routinely lose to the teams that they do.
And now UCLA.
Yeah.
If UCLA wasn't 0 and 4, like, remember when they went to USC last year?
Like, they do struggle out there.
And they had to, you know, actually, Tyler Warren made that absurd catch to beat USC.
Like, they have problems in California, and that does make sense.
It's just like, dude, you can't lose.
If it went Oregon, Ohio State, and they lost those back to back, fine.
But, like, you can't lose to Oregon and then come out and lay an egg against the kid who actually just graduated high school.
Like, I don't know if this guy even went to college.
I'm dead serious.
I'm allegedly, I'm just saying, like, it's 33 years old.
It's a bad look for the highest paid defensive coordinator, a guy, a head coach that had his quarterback, his two best of players, or running backs, rather, five-star wide receiver that,
they probably played $2 million.
Two of their best effective linemen.
What you just mentioned right there is the biggest conversation.
They are all in.
Yes.
So like when you're at a place that's all in.
The donors are not going to be.
Yeah.
Dude, yeah.
There's no.
Yes, that is that.
To lose to UCLA?
I'm paying how much to who?
We're paying how much?
And we're losing at UCLA?
I don't know.
There's still time.
They can beat Ohio State.
They have to.
They have to.
And then go to playoffs if they do that.
If they were able to do that, they would be able to have the conversation at the end of the season.
Can't lose again. Nope.
Hey, still all there in front of you.
Yeah.
James knows it.
Let's go to Joey Kennedy, the fourth.
There's been three others.
Hashtack, I don't want to overreact, but...
Michael Bidwell should move the team to Europe.
Give the Arizona market whatever expansion drivel the lead comes out with next.
Pretty good.
Cannot be worse than whatever the hell I witnessed in Glendale yesterday.
Embarrassed to be born in this state after that.
Joey fits in the same thing.
It's the worst loss he's ever seen.
Now, AJ, we haven't got your take on that.
I think that was a touchdown.
I think he still had control of the football
while they broke the low line.
But there was no definitive angle, I guess,
which once again, that's a conversation to be had.
Why is there no definitive angle?
We should have one of those.
And then also, everybody around football said,
yeah, we don't care that they didn't roll in a touchdown.
Like, you shouldn't have done this.
So that's kind of how our emotions are about it.
But right there, does you not have that in his finger?
This angle is the only one that it makes it look like to me he didn't score.
Did not?
No, he didn't.
Yeah, because he's losing it before.
Yeah, but what if he's in his fingertip?
Because when you flip that thing, you're doing this.
You're going like this, you're going bang, and then you're going, boom, is this still in your...
No.
Is that possession right there?
That's not possession probably.
Yeah, I don't think that's considered possession.
If I'm about to throw that thing?
No, that's just like ADB.
What do they say?
Can you get possession by the tip?
Can you just hold the tip and have position?
That's what I'm saying.
like if I if I I'm intrigued
that is interesting but then you're after assuming
that he's purposely doing that he's
not losing it like AD Mitchell did
yeah yeah yeah but
it becomes like a judgment
car right yeah and in that situation
it's completely avoidable I think that's the biggest
problem people have that's what everybody says
who cares if it was you shouldn't have done it
and then the football gods punished him
I mean the kickney whooopty do touchdown
was just outrageous
just absolutely outrageous and that
only happens if you do something to really upset
the gods up there. Snap, drilling
Kyler in the helmet. Gods, football
gods. Yeah. Literally, everything.
Everything you can think of, Gannon hat going
sideways after chewing a guy out. That's a tough.
I mean, that's a touch-out. I don't think I've ever
seen a play look that ridiculous.
That bad. Kids? And I'm saying, on the
national football league field? I'm saying,
like, youth, you think? I don't know if that even happens
in high school. I mean, yeah. That's got
Baction rid all over it.
Yeah, there you go. There it is.
All right, let's go the next overreaction.
shall we? It's from Evan Swan
at O Swan
21 hashtag I don't want to react
but you should never
ever poke the bear
because that bear always comes back for
seconds. Go Bucks, Baker
for MVP, Igbuka for rookie
of the year and then here's the bear being
poked by the fans in
Seattle.
You have a real fucking quiet
asshole.
You still are you. You're still sunk. Everything about it. Everything about it. I love that Baker remembered on the way out. And buddy, you're the one. You're the one. And Baker's one of those guys. Like, I think there's a chance that team should be telling their fans beforehand. Hey, hey, buddy. You're the one. You're the one. And Baker's one of those guys. Like, I think there's a chance that team should be telling their fans beforehand. Hey, we don't think. We don't think.
it to Baker. Like, that actually helps him. You are hurting our team whenever you wake this guy up.
There's obviously a few people throughout history that we know if you poke the bear,
they're going to kill you. Baker's one of them. I think he has proven that time and time again.
All the way back to college. Remember, the guy wouldn't shake his hand.
Kansas. Kansas, okay, that's what we're going to do right now. That is literally what he thrives off of.
And he put on a show yesterday, not that Seattle didn't. But I, if I'm the Seahawks, I'm asking that guy.
Was it worth it? Was it worth it to do this?
Because he's literally one of them, AJ.
That is who Baker is and always has been, it seems like.
That's why we love him, I think.
And that's my favorite part of all of it, obviously, is after the game when he knows.
Like, you know, as he's jogging in, he's like, I cannot wait.
Like, I'm going to let this guy know that I still remember him.
But, yeah, like, it's like when you ever heard offensive linemen talk about, like,
hey, when there's a big scary D. Lyman, these guys that absolutely can wreck the game,
they try to, like, do their best to not wake the dude up, to try to be
nice to him almost help him up sometimes
whatever it takes to not make him freak out and I think
Baker is the quarterback version of that
do not wake this guy up because he
thrives on adversity like this
and I think yeah you're right away stadium
just keep it like pleasantries very nice to bake
you're having such a great year bake you have an MVP year buddy
like just say things like that to him
you got into space needle it's a beautiful view
you should love this place you get some fish go catch
some fish buddy you'd be so good at
tossing the fish too you should ask them that type
of stuff what do you say I'm just saying
he's rare in that sense like usually the good quarterbacks aren't like very chirpy you know you
had like philip rivers but it's not a lot of them like someone would just kill you and just
kind of be like this throw was unbelievable that's when you that's when you really knew he was in his
flow especially at that point in the game one minute left uh to tie it up but yeah he's a quarterback
that we talked about it against the texans once you know he got hurt knee boom popped up
cj j jj's talking shit boom you just saw up click and like typically that's not what you see
with quarterbacks. That's maybe
linebackers, maybe running backs, but he's a guy
who can talk shit. You put those chips on the shoulder.
Whether you're a part of the game or not.
You can be a part of the fucking crowd.
He's going to take everything and use it as fuel.
And he's playing his best
football right now. What did Drew Brie say?
Yeah, I'll take everything.
Yes, please, please, please. I'm looking. I'm looking.
And I think Bucks fans are saying, we can start
earlier.
Mm-hmm.
You know, we don't have to have final.
Are you?
My, yeah, my freaking phone, this thing
is I sucked out.
day with this fucking thing. Yeah, you and the microphone are getting
after it, but also, the brand new hat.
I don't, you know, that hat. Yeah, exactly. New hat.
I just trying to, you know, figure out where I can move my head with it.
You know, I'm not used to wearing hats. I usually just rock the hair, but
fuck, you know.
Hey, good patrons gear today. Not that it is abnormal.
No, no, no, but it is, it's not, like, I'm not kidding.
And I was telling, I forget who I was talking to last night because I sent so many
texts, like, Pat's are back, motherfucker.
Like, so many to so many non-pats fans.
but it was one of those times
where like I mean I was sitting on the floor
for the last two minutes of the get
for that whole final drive for that kick
like as soon as the kick goes through
like get a call for my brother
that hasn't happened since
2018
a special feeling like yeah like reminds you
of I'm dead serious too
especially with the Bill Belichick conversation
but it reminds you of how special
it is when you have a really good team
and like what it does
to a city and like we're seeing
it here with Indy. Fuck, like, we saw it with
the Pacers in Indy. Like, it really does
like, for me, it takes us
back just because, like, you lived it
for so long with New England, but the fact
that it's here now, you forget how
it's special it is and, like, seeing Drake
May, you know, go down the
field with two minutes left to. It's just amazing.
Let's go to a city that's never had that.
This is from Michael at SnoopCollex.
Hashtack, I don't want to react, but
this Brown's team has a chance
to be good, but we're not, because we
have a fucking clown at head coach who
can't manage a fucking game clock
to save his life. Another
season, another fucking wasted
year of Miles Garrett's Prime.
Dog shit
organization from Michael.
I don't think I know
exactly the situation
because I was driving maybe downtown
to the game. I missed the
clock operation stuff. We'll have to revisit that.
But I do know,
Stefanski and Andrew Barry are going to be given a lot of opportunity
because I don't think it was their decision to give
the most amount of money guaranteed in the history to any.
anybody. But boy, that Cleveland Browns team,
Dylan Gabriel looked good. I thought there'd be a little bit more positive, AJ.
I didn't know it was going to be this negative.
I mean, if you get a win, they'd be a little more positive,
but the fast that they lost a game that people thought they should have won
and they had won, yeah, then you're going to get the Browns fans that say,
of course, this is what happens, this is what we do.
But honestly, though, isn't Deshawn Watson going to be healthy at some point this year
and want to come back? I heard, isn't that a real thing that's possible.
Oh, hasn't even broached my mind. Hasn't even broached my mind.
I'm excited to learn about that day, though, whenever that all takes place.
Because what are they going to do with the fourth string quarterback at that point?
You know?
And who is the fourth string quarterback?
Because I've seen, I don't know who tweeted it, something about the Raiders.
Oh, yeah.
CN Nation.
No, it was, it was, um, no, Portland Trailblazers.
Dane time.
Dane time.
Oh, yeah.
Lillard, yeah.
Listen, we need to just trade for Shador.
This ain't working.
Is what he said about the Raiders?
He said, this ain't.
we're done with this one here
but basically said we need trade for Shador
when is trade deadline
November they moved it right week nine
or week eight
there's going to be some shit
massive one especially with the
what was it active last year
trade deadline
Dhop
right
Tuesday November 4th
feels like it's going to be active this year
there's going to be some big time people moved from some bad
teams I think
yeah and also we're getting into a more
naturally more active league it feels like
like things are just
starting to become a little bit more fantasy footbally.
For sure. Yeah, teams are starting to do a little bit more
selling and buying and stuff like that,
which is good for us, for sure.
Is it good for the long-term success of the programs?
We shall see. Let's go to the next ever reaction here.
This one's from Nick Frederick, I do believe.
Hashtag I don't want to react.
But the Yankees 2025 playoff.
Oh, no.
Nick, we all know what followed.
This is September 11th, 2023.
Aaron Rogers comes running out
to start his entire New York Jets.
era. They're going to go on to win a Super Bowl. It was one of the greatest entrances we've seen
in sport. Yes. The hype seemingly living up to the expectation of everything that could be here
for the Jets for the first time since fucking Joe Namath. We saw us four snaps on the offensive
of the ball. That's what they're saying about the Yankees, huh? Kind of just, you know, I was like,
beat the Red Sox to get in. Exactly. That's the carrying of the American League. Because you win that
series and then it's like actually everything is like I know the blue jays are really good but this is
kind of setting up perfectly for the Yankees to you know make it to the LCS and potentially you get you get
to that point and then you're rolling maybe you win a world series nope uh they just got fucking
embarrassed two games in a row in Toronto and now you're just thinking like boy what was I doing
what was I doing thinking that they were maybe going to win this series they go back to
New York. They've said like, hey, we're cut. Our backs
were just against the wall. Who is that guy?
That is Alejandro Kirk. I think it takes him
like 30 seconds to run to first base.
So if you get him to hit it
on the ground, like he, you could
basically throw it, like the
third base won't be able to throw it out to the left
field. They'll be able to do a banana ball. Without a
doubt and throw him out by
30 feet. Problem is
when you throw him pitches like right down the middle
he's a surly son of a bitch.
He's going to hit him out of the ballpark and he
did a fair amount of that over the weekend.
It's just, I mean, like I said, you know, I had so much hope and optimism going into this.
And to Toronto's credit, like, it was instantaneous in the first inning of the first game.
You know, they hit a homer, and it's like, okay, we're okay.
And then they come up in the second inning.
And they hit another homer.
And it's like, okay, we're still, you know, I mean, we've got good lineup as well.
And then the Yankees just keep striking out.
And the Blue Jays just keep hitting homers.
and just keep hitting homers.
They, what did they?
Outscore them 22 to 8 in two games in Toronto.
These Yankees are shite.
I didn't know that was the case.
I think I pulled 12 homeroes.
I'm not kidding.
This is the one right here.
Go back.
Can you go back to this and have sound on this one?
Yeah.
We're going to have sound on it.
Oh, we don't have sound.
Okay, never mind.
Can he make history?
So what is that?
Vlad?
I don't know.
Maybe the first player to hit a baseball 8,000 feet and 10,000 miles an hour off the bat.
I mean, that was, and I knew that was going to happen.
They bring in Will Warren, who's a starter, hasn't, like, pitched out of the bullpen all year.
You bring him in with the bases loaded against their best hitter.
It's like, what do you expect to happen?
He grooves him one right down the middle.
And Vladdy knew, too, he was like, oh, wow, I might fucking hit that to Buffalo.
So, you know, I'm going to sit here and pimp this a little bit.
And, God, the Blue Jays, they got these little fucking, like, suit jackets that they put on the guys after they hit the homers.
I saw that about 10,000 times over the week.
and almost bought one because I was like,
well, that's actually kind of a cool little thing they're doing.
So we'll see.
You almost got influenced by the other team.
Yeah, run celebrating.
Yeah, exactly.
And you know what, to make things worse,
Buck Martinez, who is the play-by-play guy,
or no, the color guy for the Blue Jays broadcast.
He said back, you know, maybe like a couple months ago,
they weren't even playing the Yankees.
The Blue Jays were playing the Astros and just out of nowhere.
And he's like, you know what?
I'm not worried about the Yankees because they're just not a good team.
And Aaron Boone,
mentioned that leading into this series.
He was like, I heard what Buck Martinez said, you know, and like, contrary to popular
belief, like, we are a good team.
And then for them to just get embarrassed two games in a row in Toronto.
What was Buck doing keeping it a buck up?
Yeah, exactly.
Him and Dan Shulman, they were keeping it a buck.
So we'll see, backs against the wall, going back to New York.
At the very least, boy, you better not get 10 runned.
You cannot get swept.
Do they have a running clock?
No, they don't.
They don't.
But you'll see, you know, you go down six nothing.
you basically bring in a fucking fat New Yorker from the crowd to pitch the last three innings
because it doesn't matter.
So we'll see.
It's a ganky.
We'll see what happens.
Maybe herbshit gets out there and throws one.
He can be good.
That's not a bad idea.
You would have been better out of the bullpen than Luke Weaver over the weekend.
I know that.
Fucking son of a bitch.
All right.
Last overreaction here from New York.
The Jets chef at the Jets chef.
Hashtag I don't overreact.
But the 2025 Jets might as well be a make a wish team
for how they're putting their fans on
death row watching whatever has been on
the field the last decade.
Fireman Ed hasn't given up, right?
No. I think
Fireman Ed's fucking, first
class ticket to Bermuda.
He's fucking out of there. Yeah, no.
This is Fireman Ed's like
Forston. He's giving up three times already.
No. Come on. No, that's not true.
I mean, dude, I know a bunch of Jets fans.
He has. He'd be crazy
if he didn't.
What did you do this? Yeah, it'd be hard and on to it.
He might not be a real fan, but
are Jets fans that are riding along the misery,
certainly. It's like a part of the thing.
Greenie, Coal, I mean, you start
listing off names of fans
and it's just like, are they always
going to stink? And
Aaron Glenn's going to get his culture in there, right?
AJ, that's what we need to say?
Yeah, he does. I just, yeah, how long
does that take, I guess? You got to give some hope.
You got to show some kind of hope at some point,
which I would assume they will at some point
this year. Did you see how hard Justin Fields threw
that ball off that guy's head?
He's got a canon, man. He really does.
He should start for the Yankees.
He should start game three for the Yankees.
He's right there.
He's right there.
I mean, that thing was going to go 20 yards off of that hell.
If that Skycam didn't get in the way,
that thing's coming to the real speed.
This isn't super duper slow-mo.
Look how fast it's still coming.
Him and Jackson Dart pitching.
Make a couple of innings each.
I don't hate that.
Russell listens over there too.
Oh, yeah, he's long in the tooth.
He fucking stinks.
No, he doesn't.
We don't need another guy coming in, throw it 91 miles an hour
right down the middle we got enough of those fucking guys
okay
he might have been on Savannah bananas I watched the Savannah bananas
they got a new team she's beating hell out of
dude I don't know what's going on he's uh
the cowboy hat guy the Savannah bananas have a team that has full
cowboy hat it's a whole team
because they got multiple teams though I saw the
fucking bananas got eliminated from playoff contention
shut up what the hell's that about yeah
one of their players fucking made an out
against the party animals he was fucking sitting
in the third base bleachers
so what the what are we doing
This banana ball even worked?
They didn't make the fucking playoffs.
I thought they won every game.
They got a lot of good teams.
I know.
Party animals are good.
Yeah, here he is.
Firefighters.
He'll get the points in the runs.
He's got two different things.
Yep, he's out there.
I'm giving it at.
Hold on.
You're telling me the P.A.s beat the bananas?
Yeah, the P.A.,
I think the P.A.
Is that the P.
Is that a banana?
Yes, this guy is a banana.
I'll say this.
I don't think he is a banana.
That was what the tweet said.
I just took it as gossip.
I think that's an actual.
actual out over there. Yeah, it's one of those goofy
rules they have. No, that's what I'm saying.
He is a banana. He's a banana. The bananas
have been eliminated from playoff
contention. This guy went
to the game, the party animals against whoever
the fuck they're playing, and he
made the out as a
spectator. He is a banana.
That guy's a banana. That guy is a banana.
Look at you. Go through your banana.
Look, and he knows all the party animals.
Hey, nice. He's saying, hey, thank you for the out.
We're going to make it to the playoffs.
Darius Slade did that with one of Jalen Hurts's throws yesterday
too. Caught it in the crowd.
Sonny.
Slay was there.
Yeah, he loves ball.
He loves football. He loves football, okay?
Eagles was the closest to Pittsburgh game
that he could get to. I like it.
He used to go to the high school games a lot.
In Detroit.
Bingo, see?
Slaher reminds me to someone.
Slate does love ball, bro.
Loves ball.
Yeah. Four and one, by the way.
Very.
Three and one, maybe.
Yeah, I don't think you played five weeks.
You had a bye week.
The one,
by week, though.
Undefeated by week. How did the
F.C. North do yesterday? How did they do?
Ravens? L. Bengals,
L. Browns, L. Steelers, home.
Long road here.
It's an early by week.
The longest road you can take is the best one.
We'll see it, Tony.
You do say that.
All right. We'll see. I don't know if that's ever been said.
But maybe now. People say this short as usually.
Maybe now it'll be.
Forever Etchen Stone with the Steelers run.
You want handouts, take the shortest one.
You're going to take the long row.
Yeah, of course you do.
That's a long walk, brother.
All right.
He's on the Jacksonville Jaguars plus three and a half.
I have the Kansas City Chiefs minus three and a half.
He's on the over.
I'm on the under.
DeButch likes the Kansas City Chiefs as well.
So we shall see how tonight goes.
You like the over, under?
Oh, shit.
Give me the under.
Okay.
Two unders, between me,
and D. But now, granted, I did have
to pick the complete opposite of AJ, because
AJ is up 10-3-9-4
on the weekend's picks.
AJ's seeing the board well. That's
why he's a Hothnom. That's why he's
a Hoffnom. Nine and four, I'm
pretty happy with that, to be clear.
But it would,
I went two and 14 last week, three
and 13 last week, so this is good. Get back for me.
Can steal this thing tonight. Absolutely.
Can steal this thing tonight, AJ. Don't let me
do it. You can. Don't you... You won't, but you can.
Don't you, Arizona Cardinals this. Don't you
This thing into the end zone
We'll be back tomorrow
We can't thank you enough
For allowing us to do this for a living
Be a friend, tell it something nice
If I change your life
We're in this thing together.
AJ, any final thoughts?
Well, better one tomorrow, fellas
I doubt it.
Team on me, team on three.
One, two, three, team.
Goodbye.
