Hello, beautiful people, and welcome to our Humbley Bo, the Thunderdome.
On this overreaction, Mania Week Monday, Ample 13, 2026, this program begins now.
Sports!
Are the absolute greatest, and boy, what a weekend we had, and it's not just the weekend that was fantastic.
Congratulations, Roar and Mac LaRoy.
A guy from the Big Ten of Ireland, Northern Ireland, which I did tell Greg Sankey, the Commissioner of the SEC,
that if Rory wins this, I do believe he would claim North, which is obviously Big Ten World.
So that'd be another national championship as we had a chance to have dinner together
while Denver beat Wisconsin in the national championship of hockey, where there was potentially
a joke made about maybe Denver joining the SEC because Big Ten loses a national championship there.
Just know that Sanky had a left and a right back for everything.
And he is still throwing 108 on the tape for everything.
But on that note, Rory, special weekend.
I mean, an absolutely special weekend for Rory McElroy.
He does something for the first time since Tiger in 2002.
And also the first time since that exact tournament, Rory ends up winning.
Scotty Schaeffler ends up in second place.
That's the World 1 versus World 2 up at 1 and 2 at Augusta like Phil in Tiger were in 2001,
2002 or whatever the case.
So whenever you talk about a sweet weekend of golf to basically kick off, you know,
this is another spring in the South.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, it's basically another notch.
of another year of life with family down there in this southern paradise that is Augusta
National, which I will say I did get a chance to experience.
And I will tell you what? A lot of anxiety with the whole no phone thing.
Sure.
Okay.
Pregnant wife, obviously.
Sure.
A lot going on in life, obviously.
And also, like, just kind of, it's going to be an issue whenever I retire.
I'm going to have to go do some stuff to get away from the phone.
I feel like I have to always just kind of know what's going on everywhere, basically.
because I'm going to have to talk about it probably if it's happening in the sports world.
So having to put that bad boy down to go in there was certainly a moment with myself.
There was a look in the mirror like, yo, come on.
This thing doesn't own you.
You know, like I had to do one of those, like had to do like a real conversation.
Then I plugged that thing in, flipped it over, and I turned and I went Amish, okay?
And I walked right out there.
Then we got put into a sprinter van that had broken blinds.
Okay.
So they were all done.
Bluetooth was the radio setup.
We don't have anything to Bluetooth.
We were in a pitch black-based
Sprintervan. Just put my phone down,
get into a Sprintervan, no sound.
No, nothing to do.
Squid games.
Very much.
Me and Foxy having full conversations about
we're the dumbest of all time.
Oh, yeah.
How are we adults that we have lived
the life that we've lived?
We've got a chance to experience so many things.
We've got a chance to meet so many different types of people.
How are we getting bamboozled right now
in Augusta, Georgia? We fell for it.
Hook, line, and sinker.
There was a little bit of an uneasiness.
There's an anxiety level that was pretty high.
Strictly because of the lack of being able to communicate at all times.
I don't know how we used to do it.
I was a part of life whenever we didn't have this.
It's crazy what life is now versus what it isn't.
And then we pull on to the property.
And then we meet Dachimia.
And I'll tell you what,
De Kimia had the most energy that I've ever seen in my life.
Welcome to Augusta National.
You're going to have the time of your life scanned us in there.
We walked in there.
And then we had no idea what to do.
They pointed us out of house.
And we're like, you're going that way right there.
And it's like, sweet.
We walk in.
There's a right.
There is a left.
There is a straight.
And everything is nice.
And we just ask, hey, what are we supposed to do?
You go down there, and then there would be a whole area to eat, drinks, whatever you need,
and then the course will be on the other side.
Thank you so much.
We go there.
We go in the room.
Holy hell, this is a lot of people.
Okay, a lot of people.
So then we go to bar immediately just try to get some answers.
Hey, we'll take definitely Jack and Diet if that's possible.
Ah, the azaleas the drink you'll want to have.
You're right.
Sure.
Thank you so much.
I'll have one of those.
Drink that.
And also, where are we ready?
They start explaining the room they were in.
There's two green jackets in here currently.
If you look around, you'll be able to see them, obviously having conversations.
Don't interrupt, but you should feel comfortable talking to them.
They're very excited to be here, as are you.
Thank you so much for being our guest.
Whole breakdown on this entire place.
So we get these two azalea drinks.
They're pink, okay?
They taste delightful.
I have no idea what's in them.
They were pretty boozy, but not too boozy.
Tasted delightful.
Very good.
No, you're gonna be walking a lot.
We walk out of there and we're just off into this thing.
Maybe walk 14 miles, okay?
I have no idea.
That shit is like this, and that shit is like this.
The whole place is
Pittsburgh. I had no idea that it was as much as it was. Foxy and I got a chance to see it all,
live it all, do it all, hear it all. Lowry hits a hole in one. We were a fair way over.
That thing, just like whenever you were watching on TV and there's a shot that happens elsewhere,
the roar that came through like the haulers down there through the hills. It was insane. And there's
no camera, there's no, there's no TVs out there. Oh, he got to leaderboard. Okay, so you hear
roar, and then you got to get eyes to leaderboard, and then leaderboard will do something.
Was that a big time birdie putt from somebody?
Because you can't really see it.
Holy shit.
That was a hole in one for Lowry.
Big time popped in across the rest of the course.
So when the leaderboard changes, that provides like real moments.
And you got people really interacting with each other.
We were sitting on a hole six on Sunday.
And the place was packed.
It's a part three that comes in there.
Very crucial hole there.
Rory bogies this.
Just two holes after he double bogged.
We saw leaderboard, Rory go from 12 to 10,
place lit up where we were sitting,
which was on the other side.
It felt like we were back in time, but it felt like we were really in the moment.
Beers flowing conversations happening.
We were there for like 45 minutes to an hour, watched a bunch, almost got hit by a ball that came flying in over top of us.
Saw Scotty Sheffler, saw the boys walk by.
But what I really experienced was all the Southerns, okay?
Sure.
That they had been doing it's just like college football for as long as they've possibly been allowed to do it.
Everybody that's there treats it very much like, lucky to be only adjusted national grounds here.
Like, thankful to be here.
then they all tell stories about what they've seen and what they haven't heard.
Then you've got people that are able to break down the green better than the tatty maybe.
Everybody has left this short.
Some guy says over here with long white hair as they're walking up, we're boozing together.
His family's boozing with us.
We are boozing over here.
There's some corporate entity that's worth billions of dollars sitting here having the time of their life because they're allowed to do whatever.
It was just like a trip back in time to a great time, but we couldn't really follow everything as closely.
So then as soon as you get out of there, you get to your phone and you go, holy hell.
Scotty Sheffler's only seven back.
And then he go, holy hell, Scotty Sheffler,
not happy about the Friday afternoon condition.
Holy hell, Scotty Sheffler's about to go on a tear.
Who else could maybe do it?
Well, Cam Young, front of the program,
he might go bananas.
We didn't know Tyrol Hatton was going to do his thing.
When his name was moving up, the leaderboard, people were going crazy.
Moracawa people were going crazy.
Sergio Garcia, you actually weren't crazy.
Yeah, he did.
Actually won crazy.
So it was just like, we were very lucky and honored to be there.
And we let everybody know that.
We're very thankful for the hospitality.
And I think the Southerns watch our show.
Nice. Okay.
I think they do.
I think they do.
I think they know us.
Big time.
And that was a very cool,
that was a very cool part of it all.
And the interactions are so like,
because you ain't got shit.
Yeah.
All you got is interactions.
It's all you got.
Hey, we're all we got out here.
How do you think is going to hit?
Well, everybody that's hit from here is hit it a bit right.
And they need to be aiming to little left.
So then golfer walks out.
We watched, what was that guy in Pengie?
Maybe P-E-N-G.
This guy put it into the straw right in front of us.
We're watching this guy.
like figuring out his life or whatever.
He bends over underneath the tree,
pangs that thing, like perfectly out of that thing.
And we go,
oh, baby, pangy!
We have no idea if that's his actual name.
And it's just like we're a foot and a half away.
It was a great experience.
We're thankful for the hospitality.
And Rory McElroyd did something,
which was piss everybody off seemingly all weekend.
Yep.
Hey, how are you going to handle Sunday?
Like, I'm a master's champion.
Like, I have a green jacket,
and I'm going to know what to do.
This prick!
I hate this guy.
I hate everything you're saying.
You know, I actually haven't gone to the tournaments
or whatever.
I just have been playing up here.
I've been able to watch my daughter go to school.
It's been a lot of fun.
And now that I'm able to play here because I won a green jacket here and I'm a member here,
I've been playing here the last three weeks instead of playing at the other tournaments.
People didn't love that he said that.
I think he was just saying like, hey, I get to play at Augusta.
So I'm going to go do that.
And he figured the place out.
I had a chance to listen to a guy talk on Saturday night who's been covering the masters for 50 years.
And he said that the way this guy was playing throughout the beginning of this tournament with the lead was
ass. He's like, this guy is swinging.
Good drive. He's sequencing right
now is off. He gave like
a 50 thing, like breakdown on him.
And he's in a lead. So, or
he's won back, whatever it was. No, he's
in a lead. And it was like, uh, the
conversation about like, Rory has not
played good golf at all. And he's still in a lead.
They're starting to talk about him as if he's
Oh, yeah. They're starting to talk about
Rory like, hey, this might become the Macleroy
masters. I mean, Freddie couples actually
said, Roy might never lose here
again. And then everybody was like,
Like, what if that's real?
And then he does what he does, not even playing his best.
And then he comes out afterwards.
I know every part of this course.
I know every part of this course.
You could easily do that if you played it a bunch of times.
And I think playing it, if you're able to play it,
is probably a lot easier because there's a walkway thing across these fairways with paint.
Okay?
It's called crossways, I guess.
Right now walkways.
And it's like Shabooia in Japan as people are walking across.
Okay, as they're trying to get from place to place.
Foxy this asshole
Oh no
He embarrassed us
What
Foxy would
This asshole
Okay I'm telling you
Unbelievable
Obviously it was a packed house
Very busy
This is what we do
Foxy just goes ahead
And just walks to the left of the paint
Yeah
Okay just walks the left of the paint
Casually strolling
Holding a drink
Oh like you owns a place
Casuals
I wanted to walk on the actual grounds
So then you get a guy
Okay
A few steps into that ass
basically with his eyes his mouth and his hands this guy just another patron just guy just
thankful to be here yeah okay lucky to be here back to course this is the masters you know welcome to it
he goes within the paint and that just keeps walking didn't work there or anything like that and I'm
like the reason why is because uh you don't get to experience that is basically how they feel right if you
get to experience this is like a lucky thing and we could sense it and everything is good everything's
You got a lot of beer.
What?
A lot of sun.
So much.
Sun's still throwing the fast.
Yeah.
Sun's away sitting at six there.
Believe it.
Man, there was no tree.
See me?
I don't know if they, I don't know.
Or clouds, I don't think.
So you're sitting there drenched and sweat amongst a lot of people with no phones.
And if you were to tell me that that's where I would be and you asked me how am I doing?
Yeah.
I would say, I'm fucking doing terrible.
If I'm in that situation, you can definitely come get me.
and I would say it was a complete opposite.
It was such a joy of an experience.
It was the greatest sporting event I've ever been to, for sure.
And there was so much hype going into it.
I mean, Twitter blows this thing up, and I'm like, okay, we'll see how this actually is.
And then you get there.
Because of the phone thing, Pat, I thought we might show up for 30 minutes.
You'd say, okay, this is cool.
But that doesn't happen because you get lost in there.
It's real.
And my other big takeaway out of this whole thing is TV doesn't do the elevation any justice.
I mean, what those guys are putting on is impossible.
So, yeah, it was cool to see in person,
and I loved every single second of me.
Yeah, it was great thing.
Foxy knows golf really well.
Love it.
It was like a very, I was very thankful he was there.
Because I'll tell you, you get out there.
AJ was out there for eight hours.
Yeah, crazy.
Couldn't find anybody.
Yeah, exactly.
There's a chance you get out.
Foxy wanted to get us a beer at one point.
It was like, maybe you'll see it.
Like, we have no idea if we're ever going to see him again.
We have no clue.
And if we do, it'll be at wherever the checkpoint is to get out.
The check-in, check-out thing too, because you don't have really any means of communication with the outside world, other than a slew of phones, which I have seen before.
I got arrested for public intoxication.
So I got one phone call.
You always like, thank you that that's how it works.
It is actually how it works.
How many numbers do you know?
I don't know.
So, one, my dad, I call him.
That's what it look like.
People were in line, like waiting for it.
And I'm like, man, this is a trip back in time.
Do you use the pay phone?
No, there's lines.
Or is it actual payphone?
It's just a...
I don't know if it's a payphone.
I think you just pick it up.
This is not in your NFL event.
Darius J. Butler.
That maybe you much.
D. Butch, you picked up the game in the last few years.
I've become a massive fan.
Roy McElroy, special talent.
That place obviously beautiful.
And it feels like everybody kind of understands its magnitude,
which is why everybody got so mad last week about the Jason Kelsey stuff.
You know, Jason Kelsey, a friend of program, we like Jason Kelsey.
We love Jason Kelsey.
Football guy doing the great things.
And up, but Jason Kelsey is center football.
I mean, he has a good time.
He enjoys his life.
People got immediately pissed about it, especially in the golf team.
They're like, don't ruin Augusta.
It's like after experiencing it, it's like, man, it does feel like they have created a little piece of heaven down there that they're like, let's not fuck this.
We have done a good job down here.
And I respect it, but I think it's why the golfers respected so much as well.
Yeah, it's kind of the pinnacle of the golf world, the golf game.
And for Rory to go back to back, I thought he kind of killed the drama and the excitement of it going into the weekend, having that big lead.
But he did not.
Masters, it always delivers.
And look, I love Rour.
I love when he went back to back.
I was praying that he went double bogies so he couldn't have to playoff with Scott's work.
That drive goes right. That drive goes right.
Yeah, one verse two, but I just accredited him just always bounced back whenever it didn't look good.
He got back on point.
The thing about, you know, that I've picked up in golf the last few years, playing these same courses, the more familiar you get with them.
And he said it after the tournament.
Like, I know where it missed.
You know, I knew where all the misses were when you came out of the bunker later, 18.
You knew he was going to two putty to get the win.
Hated that we didn't see the last putt go in, but the weekend was amazing.
Yeah, it was a great week to not watch the TV.
version of what I heard on the internet.
Second shots on that note, that's short.
Can't you 8K?
I mean, you can do that shot.
You can maybe get a shot that you can never get before
because you don't really have to.
Yeah, you know.
You would think.
But there might have been, remember, remember,
remember, we got to remember with live sports,
there's always a chance at the networking or some camera,
like there's always a chance of something fucks up.
Yeah.
Like just as people that have done this before.
Oh, yeah.
There's things that just could happen that leave people like handcuffed,
but man, missing a shot in.
Right.
I mean, you knew what shadow was going to be for four minutes.
You saw the put, you know, you saw the putt, you knew.
I mean, but it happens.
But it was a great, great tournament, great finish, great drama down the stretch.
I got out he didn't miss it.
Yeah.
He misses that.
You miss the whole thing.
That's what I'm saying.
If he misses that and they don't have that one and then, oh, that's not great.
I mean, because it's kind of just like, okay, well, he won, you know, he should have.
But, but, yeah, like you said, things happened, we kind of already knew where things were going.
I mean, other than that, it was impeccable like it always is.
That's toxic table.
at Ty Schmidt at Boston Connor.
As soon as you said that Rory knew the course inside and out,
you heard a little, huh, over there from Conman.
He's like, oh, there's a lot of people on the internet.
Obviously, we know this.
We experience this.
Restling people aren't happy with me in that internet,
and I won't let you know.
You don't even know what's good for you over there.
You fucking mark it.
You don't even know what's good for you over there.
But there is a portion of the internet that is not happy with anything
that Roy McRoe had to say,
but him winning right in despite of that.
Plus, there was a book, right?
So, like, everything that was kind of happening and how everything he was saying was going heel.
Everything was heel.
Everything was bad for Rory outside on the Internet.
In there, he walked up to six.
There was a lady sitting in the front row, and she goes, let's remember now when the champ comes up here, this is a standing ovation time at the Augusta, or at Augusta or whatever.
So Rory missed the green.
He hit it back, off the back side of it.
And everybody, as he walks, stands up, and there's a lot of, come on, champ.
You know, a lot of, like, they literally call him champ everywhere.
So, like, as he's walking up the fairway, I think at seven, I don't know if a seven or eight we saw him at,
because we're walking back and cross.
As he's walking up the fairway, even where there isn't the massive crowds,
there's still, like, hundreds of people just kind of milling through every single fairway.
Anytime somebody saw Rory, it was, all right, champ, because they, like, are,
I think they're appreciative of the champion.
You feel obligated to respect the champion, whatever you're on the grounds, if that makes sense.
and so everything on the internet,
I don't think there was a lot of that in real life.
I think in real life there was a lot of like,
we appreciate the hell out of action.
And I flipped on him.
I hated, Roy, forever.
Like the last couple years,
whatever reason.
That was a part of it, for sure,
when he came out high horse.
But the way he played,
you know, kind of, you know,
I don't necessarily see it as Ben Hill,
especially once he won the last one.
I feel like he kind of went phase for a lot of us.
But I've kind of been rooting for him in the last couple of years,
just seeing him coming in and talk about,
hey, I'm already a master champion.
Let me go out there and play like it.
I like shit like that.
When you see the great golfers go out there and show up in the biggest moments,
that's what I like to see out of athletes.
And be comfortable with your own skin.
Talk your shit.
Some people are going to hate you.
Some people are going to love you.
He's going to love you.
He's going to feel like he's very comfortable in between the ropes.
And I'll tell you what, once your thighs have touched those ropes
and you've seen he's got hit a ball,
it's like, I don't know how anybody can get that good at golf.
Yeah.
You know, that's a pretty humbling experience.
I watch a guy, Michael.
Block.
Blockie.
No, Blockie wasn't there, you guys remember?
He didn't get invited because he's not good enough to play.
Thor Boworkson?
That's not true.
Was it Michael Thor Bullockson?
I don't know.
It was Michael, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It was something.
I don't know.
It was when there.
It was like Bubley of singing this guy with his driver.
So we couldn't really see him.
It was at the first T whenever we first got dropped off
and we just walked to where we saw the most amount of people.
Oh, yeah.
So we're kind of like up the hill.
First T has a lot of action.
There's a lot of action around First T.
I will say they, first T is a good time.
It's been noisy.
I was shocked they were hitting in that noise.
First he is a good time.
I mean, first he, where the golfers walk through,
it is a Dallas Cowboys walking in a stadium type
through the entirety.
So it's like, oh, this feels like a good place to hang.
And then we're watching everybody.
And then we saw Zander walk out and all these people walk out.
But we watched this guy, and we should know his name.
We're sorry.
A lot of people we didn't know, by the way.
Boy, there's a lot of guys on tour that you don't know.
Definitely.
That they do not put on TV.
Pop up.
They need to let this guy drives, at least, on TV.
This guy fucking smoke.
I mean, just.
absolute nuke off the tea.
Just the sound of it leaving,
then watching it just kind of like
carved through the sky,
and it lands and then it disappears.
I don't even know where the hell it went.
It's like, oh man, yeah.
I don't know if I'm ever going to win one of those.
Yeah, a different game right there.
Yeah, I don't know if I'm joining us now,
ladies and gentlemen is a man who's a two-time
U.S. Open champion, and a man who just got done
covering his 50th Masters.
I had the opportunity to listen to him and talk on Saturday night.
It was my first time really listening to him
give a speech, although we've seen him on TV.
for ESPN for as long as we've been alive.
Spectacular breakdown of what was to come on Sunday.
Basically predicted it 100% accurately to us.
What came true is obviously through the mouth of a guy
who knows Augusta inside and out and is an absolute gentleman.
And I'll tell you what, he looks damn good in person.
He walks in, there's an aura that follows him.
Ladies and gentlemen, Andy North.
Appreciate it.
Hey, Andy.
Great to Saturday night.
Hey, it was great to see you.
You stood up.
You know, there's a lot of speakers that evening.
A lot of people are doing great.
You stood up incredible suit.
Obviously, just got off TV.
Had a little purple checker board thing.
You know, loose pants kind of comes in there.
Everybody, as soon as they see him, holy shit, that's Andy North is here.
You know, the whole room basically stops.
Stans up, gives a speech.
And what you were talking about for the tail end of it, whenever somebody asked you
who you thought was going to win, you said Rory has not been playing good golf at all, basically.
His sequencing was off.
His timing was off.
He was all over the place.
And he's still doing what he's.
doing, you thought there was a chance that he'd be able to play better golf. What did you see from
Rory on Sunday? And like Freddie Cupples said, is Roy going to win this thing forever? Is this what
this is now? Because he's able to just play it all year round? Yeah, I thought Rory had a real good
practice session right behind us, right behind our set, which is on the practice area there.
He was the only guy on the practice tea late Saturday night. And I thought that he looked like he was
getting things back together.
And that's the most important thing.
You can't leave the golf course feeling really bad.
You've got to figure it out and have some positive vibes leaving,
you know, so you can sleep that night, mainly.
But I thought that, you know, he got off to a little shaky start.
And then he hit an unbelievable shot at seven and an unbelievable shot at eight
to get the ball in the green to make a couple of berries.
And it's like all of a sudden he kind of found his,
his rhythm, his mojo, and he really hit the ball well, that next stretch of holes,
and went from three behind to back near the lead again.
And then the key shot, I thought the whole tournament was that...
Oh, so close to hearing what it was.
Basically, the last five or six shots he hit on the range, Saturday night, was that shot.
Kind of a little squeeze, fade, hit it in the middle of the green,
let the thing cut in.
Once it got on the ground, on the 12th green, it was spinning.
that direction so it got closer to the hole. He knocked the putt in and all of a sudden it looked
like he was in control the tournament again. Yeah, control of the ball, control the tournament,
and obviously control of the second nine. He talked the night before about after a shaky
Saturday what he'll be doing in the morning. And his quote kind of drew up a little bit of
backlash when he said been there, done that. Go ahead, Tone. Yeah, Andy, obviously, you know,
Rory, the second nine on Friday was unbelievable. And he, he takes, he, he, he takes, he, he takes,
that huge lead going into Saturday,
and then doesn't play his best on Saturday,
and then you talked about the first nine on Sunday.
How hard is that for a golfer when things are going like that,
and you look at the leaderboard and you're not at the top anymore
just to keep the composure,
and then you talked about 7, 8, and then the shot on 12.
How hard is that for a golfer to kind of reel things back in
and just kind of keep his composure there?
Well, I think the biggest thing is that's why,
when he was talking about I've done this before,
You know, you understand how your body's going to react.
You understand how to handle certain shots on that golf course.
You understand what the wind's going to do.
And having the experience, you know, I'm sure Pat had the, you know, you got a big kick at the end of the game.
Heck, I've made these things before.
You have to convince yourself that it's going to work.
And he did that.
And obviously, a super talented guy, he didn't drive the ball well at all last week.
He didn't drive the ball particularly well the year before.
He had the ball in the woods a bunch.
He played a lot of great shots off the pine straw to get it back in play.
But that's what veteran top of the world players are able to do.
How about that bunker shot on 18, Andy?
Just the thought of, you know, he sprays it to the right.
Only thing we can't do here is double.
He's off to a rough start off the T-box.
Then he ends up in the bunker.
Sorry, I don't know what the right word is.
Is that the right word?
I said the right.
You got it.
Nailed it.
I know there's a special name for it.
But then him getting out of that.
What do you think his mindset was going in there?
Just what you just said?
Like, I've been there.
I've done that.
How tight do you think that club got for Rory?
Do you think Rory feels okay in there?
He left it in the bunker you wanted.
I mean, he left it in the perfect place.
The angle coming on that front bunker, you've got that slope behind the hole.
So if the lie's not really good, you can't spin it very much.
you still can use the slope to get it close to the hole.
Basically, all he had to do is just chunk it up on the green
and everything was going to be fine.
It was going to stay in that low area.
Worst case an area is going to have a 15-footer for a par
that he needed two-pike the wind.
So it was a pretty good spot to be.
You didn't want to be it in that right bunker.
Now you're going back down the hill.
That's a total of a different animal.
But he had a great shot around the trees and left it in a really good spot.
And once he got it in that bunker, I think he probably knew it was all over.
People are going to be pissed to hear this.
But I got to put on not Augusta Greens, but another place that is within the Augusta National Real Estate screens that are set up exactly like the Augusta.
I don't know what I'm allowed to say.
Thank you for seeing it.
You've been there for 50 years.
That is unbelievable over there.
This place, they built a resort on the property.
Oh, yeah.
They built a resort.
They built a vacation resort for a.
Augusta with on the property and it's all it's unbelievable it's uh it was outrageous then they got
tour guys for me to go on a little putting excursion okay which would match the putts same step meter
that'd be yeah and then who's who's guiding the tour oh pGA pros are doing it from all around the
country offering you lessons while you everything there was just like this is the smartest this is the
smartest everything i did it was like this is the smartest and i'll tell you what no four putts okay no
That's good.
Boom.
Were they rolling faster?
Well, no four.
That's all you need to know.
No four bucks.
The classic four bucks.
Did you believe how fast the greens were?
So we talked about this last night, actually, at T-Bones.
Shout out to T-Bone steak down there in Augusta.
That's where you went last night.
I was invited.
I was invited.
I was invited.
I heard it was the spot.
Some drunk guy told me it was the spot.
We went there.
It was the spot.
I mean, the two owners are these two kids who got this business passed down from their father,
obviously rest in peace.
at 26, 28 years old.
One has this phenomenal wallet.
Love that.
And this other one has beautiful mustache.
And the vibes in our mac at the ribs.
I mean, absolutely spectacular.
We had a blast.
While we were in there, we were just talking about, like,
the entire situation of Augusta as a whole.
And how I completely understood why, like, our should...
I understood beforehand just because of the lore of it all.
But after going to it, like, I completely understand why we should never...
have our show there. Okay? Like I, I, just Andy, I want to let that be known. Like, I very much got that
messaging. But it's like, it, it does hold on to like this special folk. So like me even saying,
I was putting at that Birkman's Green, which is like this beautiful area there, people are going to be
pissed because I shouldn't experience that. How do you think they've been able to maintain it? Like,
you've been a part of this for 50 years. Has it always been held in this regard? And that's like the way
it's been passed down, passed down. Was there a turning point for this thing to become as big and as
Oh, I don't even know how.
Coveted?
Coveted, yeah.
Like, has it always been like this for 50 years?
Because I'm from the North, obviously.
I know the Masters because I watch it on TV.
I watch Tiger do his thing down there, and it's awesome.
Green Jacket.
Let's do it.
But just much like college football, I don't think if you're not really around it, I don't think you really can understand.
That's kind of my thought on college football.
And it felt very similar with that entire thing.
It's like, obviously, I'm a dufus.
And I don't understand that this goes back so long.
Is that what I was missing, you think?
Is that what the rest of the world may be misses?
and why do you think it is so grand, if you will?
It's been special from day one.
They've done a great job of creating a culture tradition there
that's unlike any other tournament we play.
And I think in the last 15 or 20 years,
they've even expanded it more so
with the addition of like the Berkman's.
They've purchased a lot of property around the golf course
to make the parking better,
to make the hospitality better.
It's just an absolute first-class event.
You know, I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world
and do a lot of sporting events.
The only sporting event, I think, is even close to it as Wimbledon.
And it's the same kind of culture, the same kind of class.
You don't have advertising splashed all over the place.
It's about creating the best event you can have.
And Augusta's done an amazing job of doing that.
Yeah, I was lucky to be a part of it, as is Foxy.
and if you ever get the opportunity,
I think you definitely should.
A little anxiety leaving the phone,
you know, as an internet person, as that,
that was certainly something.
But then I realized like, no, this is actually like a beautiful,
you know, I obviously missed and was wondering
what was going on at certain times while you're walking up
another mountain, okay?
You're walking up another mountain and you're,
you didn't write the proper socks for the shoes that you're wearing.
So your pinky toe is just...
And it?
I mean, I'll never be able to do a marathon.
That's way too long.
That's way too long.
But whenever they talk about the abuse that your feet take in those things,
I think I felt it.
I think I felt it on Saturday, more so than Sunday.
But Saturday, it was just rubbing raw basically out there.
But it didn't care.
Didn't matter.
Just got to go see it, got to go feel it, everything like that.
Okay, let's talk about some of the storylines coming out of this year's Masters with Andy North,
50 years at the Masters.
And I'll tell you, I don't know if he does a speaking tour.
I don't know if he does.
I should have asked before he came on here.
Nailed it.
So good.
Okay.
I mean, I'm telling you.
I'll send you a percentage.
Thanks, Matt.
No problem.
I don't know what you're charging.
It should be more, and we can make up the difference.
But let's talk about in the history of golf now what this weekend did.
Go ahead, Dibut.
Yeah, Andy.
Now, Rory has been a phen from day one, and he's kind of, he's living up to expectation.
Now, back-to-back masters win gets him up to six majors.
Does this firmly put him in the top 10 golfers of all time in your book?
Yeah, he's getting pretty darn close.
You know, we kind of laughed about Freddie saying,
heck, he might win the rest of him.
But the golf course is so perfectly built for him,
the type of shots he likes to hit,
I wouldn't be a bit surprised he wins multiple more.
And then now you're talking about you get to that eight major,
10 major area, now you're one of the top 10,
ever played the game.
Amazing talent.
And, you know, it's like you get enough success and it frees you up a little bit that all
of a sudden you're just on a roll.
And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he goes on a super role here for a while.
All right, Andy, you've been on a super role for 50 years at least.
I don't know.
I assume longer.
I don't know what you did before that.
I assume you're great.
I seem an unbelievable run then as well.
We appreciate you taking time today.
and making our show much more prestigious.
Yep.
Thank you.
Well, I appreciate it.
Anytime.
I love it.
I love watching you guys.
You make it fun.
You're making sports fun.
So see you guys later.
God, you're the man.
Hell yeah.
Thank you.
He said of the sort to me and Foxy at the dinner.
He actually held up the next speaker a little bit,
trying to get over to us and say very kind things to us.
It was awesome.
Was the next speaker the one you guys loved?
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
Let's move along.
There was a long speech it was given.
I learned a lot about a lot.
Nice.
I've never been at one of those events.
Shut up in a tank top.
Obviously, that's not how this is going.
They're hosting a dinner at a house.
Tank top.
If you said a house, it's a house party.
It was a house party.
It was a house.
They knew what was coming, I think.
Right?
I got invited to this thing.
It's at a house.
I just walked.
Was there a dress coat?
If there was no dress coat?
then you're fine.
I was not full.
Is it the shackalicious tanked up?
No, I can't wear yellow.
You should have known that.
That was,
that was rude he put me on TV.
What was?
What was Foxy wearing?
He'd had buttoned on.
Yeah, buttoned down.
He came downstairs.
To be clear, he came downstairs.
I looked at him, I said,
all right.
Oh, no.
Fuck.
I did think there was a chance
it would be a problem.
It was a house.
Okay.
It wasn't on property.
It was off property.
Which, you should see the business
they're running down there.
Yeah.
Actually, funny.
know if I was while watching the broadcast
looking for all this stuff on
the side just to see if I could see where
they don't show you guys. No, they don't.
It was incredible the amount of humans we met.
And you know what I found that?
Team Mobile? Yeah.
Yeah. You got best coverage ever.
Do they? Have you seen the map?
No way. Have you seen the map?
Buffalo Wildish? Man,
bubble white, the medium? We love that.
I'll tell you what. We'll take course.
like ice cold.
Always.
Always.
All the Rock is blue.
I've heard they, when they are, the light is in store.
Yeah, I will, uh, the amount of humans that are kind of just roaming around there and who the humans are is absolutely insane.
Imagine.
We do love Buffalo Wildlings.
Love it.
Always have.
Always will.
Miller Coors, that whole company.
Yeah.
You name everything.
You're kidding me.
Let's pivot away from golf and shilling for anybody that we don't have deals.
It was nice to meet people, though.
I don't do those things.
Yeah, it was events.
It was fun.
I don't do those.
Team mobile's got Starlink on the phone.
I heard that as well.
Starlink on a phone.
They were the first 5G network.
What?
Yeah, nobody knows that.
Everybody thinks T-Mobile asked.
Guess what?
T-Mobile, allegedly, I don't have it yet.
Not asked.
Yeah, I think Ann Athaway told us that, if I remember correctly.
Is that the answer?
Is that the Ann who did this?
I learned a lot about T-Mobile.
You know, whenever you don't have a phone.
phone. What are we talking about?
I'm a naturally curious individual.
So whenever somebody brings something up,
we're both stuck here. Okay?
Let's see where we can go here. Great
conversation.
Multiple years in a row.
Starlinked. Yeah, fact check either. So you kind of
just take everything as gospel.
Holy shit. I really
been sleeping on this. Yeah. So then
more people came to group, right? Because remember,
you don't know when people are coming when.
Okay? You have no idea who's popping
into your life. It's a trip back in time.
So then as more people come, they catch a tail in and me going,
so you're telling me, T-Mobile, not ass.
So then there's somebody who is, I don't know,
the head of C something O of some other company that does something with them.
And they're like, what?
That is not what we're talking about right now.
It's like, no, that's a good thing.
That's a good thing.
Now you've got more people.
It's like a, it was a trip back in time.
Yeah.
It was literally a trip.
Every single detail is thought of throughout the whole weekend.
It was perfect.
It's crazy.
It was really,
that's why everybody says it's so much bad
because it's just like
it's a completely different world.
Yeah.
Like you're just in a completely
different world down there.
And everybody was so kind.
And to the Southerns,
I appreciate a hospitality down there.
That's what they do.
And I'll tell you that,
Azalea.
Azalea?
Mm-hmm.
What's in it?
The drink?
Remarkable.
Very good.
What was that other one?
Spike.
We had an Arnold Palmer.
Yeah.
Shout out.
That was very,
that was good.
The beer.
There's a lot of beer drinking, dinner.
I'll tell you're walking a lot.
Azelia is vodka, lemonade, and a bit of grenadine.
Can I say something about the sandwiches?
Nope.
Keep your fucking mouth shut out.
Oh, no.
What the hell?
You would know a good sandwich if it had smacked you in the mind.
Yeah, what do you know, you young, little entitled bum?
I won't say it.
Guy was walking down the fairways by himself.
I like it.
Inside.
I'll tell you, he was inside the paint.
So mad.
Thanks, Foxy. That guy hated that I was here.
Lada, I can't believe they let you in.
Oh, so many of those.
Oh, they let you in here.
Yeah, it was a lot of that.
I was like, yeah, shh.
A lot of that.
A lot of good interactions of those things, you know,
where there's like a one pop, two pop, now we're off and running.
That was fun.
Join us now is a man who, I'll tell you what.
I'm excited that we got to see him on the internet.
See a picture of him.
He's got one of his super duper outfits on.
This guy's king of fashion.
Coolest.
Nobody really respects what he's doing.
doing, but whenever he goes into his closet and put something on, he's telling you what's in.
Okay, it's not about you telling him what's in.
Bingo.
He's a thermostat, not a thermometer.
He's setting the tone.
Okay, he's not telling what it is.
He's got a fresh new fit on.
They put him on.
He speaks to the fans, hey, don't get used to this.
We're coming back.
Cut the baby face promo.
And all anybody says is this guy's a fat ass.
What?
Bull.
Who's saying that?
They're saying he's fat so.
They got nicknates.
Talk for a little.
Yeah.
Not the guy on the sheet who that says I'm coming up.
Mr. Chairman, join us now.
It's a man who led the Indiana Pacers to game seven of the finals
against Oklahoma City Thunder last year.
He was on pace to score 75 points in a game seven of an NBA finals
and lead the Pacers to an NBA title.
May Tori Skills.
We have been on the road to recovery ever since.
The Indiana Pacers have earned a lottery pick,
and he is on the mend to saving this town's basketball team
back to his place that it should be,
on top, ladies
gentlemen, fat so's
the internet says
Tyrese Hallibus.
Yay, Tyrese!
Called you fat.
What an intro.
Fatso.
Yeah, but did you hear
the whole game seven thing?
75 points championship?
You're going to lose that?
I like that.
The rest of that was good.
The rest of it was good.
I'm just doing reporting,
I think is what they call it
in the world that we live in currently.
I'm just telling you what was being said.
It called you fat.
I thought the fit was fantastic.
I'd like to let you know that.
So they asked me about the fit check
with the eyeballs.
Indiana Payser's a social team.
Thank you for putting capital letters
on T&H on Tyrese Halliburton.
I don't know why everybody else on the internet's not doing it anymore.
But I love the fit.
And that's not what they were talking about.
Everyone's talking about you standing comfortably.
Okay?
Whoa.
Somebody did this, Tyrese.
Okay?
And I don't like it.
I was at the Masters.
And I didn't see this until later.
I feel like I would have went to your defense and said,
this guy's not fat.
Why are you guys killing this guy?
Can you please give us a state of Tyrese Halliburton right now?
and also update the world on the incredible progress we've had on multiple fronts,
both at the Achilles and also on the head.
Eye, entire thing, please, Tyrese.
Yeah, so I'm going on eight weeks of shingles right now, face shingles.
Jeez.
And I haven't been able to get rid of it.
I've switched my meds like three times,
and I've got a Botox injection.
None of it has helped.
You do look good.
And the new meds side effect of the meds is,
that I'm always hungry and weight gain.
So it's making me gain weight.
And the problem is I said,
when I did LeBron's podcast on Mind the Game,
I said, I'm the heaviest I've been right now.
I'm bulking.
I'm strong.
I'm lifting all the time.
This is good.
And then face shingles hit me.
And so now the bulking has turned into just,
I'm just bigger for no reason.
So now they're killing me on social media.
I've seen I'm being called Tyrese Halliburger.
Oh, come on.
I didn't see that one.
That's the new one.
It's all Tyrese.
Oh, no.
Yeah, not good.
You know, the internet's going to get you, though.
I mean, that's what it is.
Let's talk about the, we talk about the eight weeks shingles on top of everything else.
You talk about going through multiple medicines.
I assume that's a scary situation, actually, because we've talked throughout the entirety.
You were, like, on house arrest there for a little bit because of what shingles was.
You weren't able to move much in the middle of an Achilles recovery in which that Achilles recovery was going well, right?
And then this kind of put a halt to a lot of things.
I don't know how much you want to talk about,
and I'm sorry, I probably just said too much.
But this is the reality of the situation, I think.
Yeah, no, I was going to start playing five-on-five
after All-Star break.
That was the plan.
And then shingles hit me,
and so I was, didn't go,
I was at the house for two weeks, no workouts.
I started working out again for like two weeks,
and then after that, my eyes started swelling up,
and I was basically swollen shut from the shingles again,
so I'd take another week and a half off
before I rev back up.
So now I'm just starting to play five-on-five now.
So, yeah, it's like it's been trash.
It's been trash.
Yeah, that sounds like an incredibly terrible run of luck.
Okay, I want to let you know that I don't think you deserve it.
I'm sorry that it's happening.
Can you tell me about shingles?
I don't think I know much about shingles.
I thought 80-year-olds got shinglingling, right?
Isn't this kind of like an older thing?
Whenever you heard that, what was the thing?
And how much of you had to learn about this entire thing now?
Well, I thought Doc was joking when he told
me I had shingles. I was like, are you, are you playing with me? He's like, no, I'm dead serious.
But I guess it's coming out more in people might, like originally they said, yeah, I was 60, 70 year olds.
That's why the vaccine for shingles is only for people over the age of 50 because they didn't even test,
I don't think they tested younger people. And then, so I was saying more people younger are
getting it from stress and other things. And so like you had to have chicken pox.
I didn't have, a lot of people my age didn't get chicken pox. We all got the vaccine.
which obviously is the dormant virus
so that I could come out in you later in life.
So that's why I'm getting it now.
And yeah, it's horrible.
So I would advise anybody over the age of 50,
I don't think any of you guys on the show are over the age of 50
to get the vaccine because this is trash.
It's been horrible.
Yeah, that's honestly, thank you for like spreading that message.
Me learning about you having it was an eye opener to me.
I'm like, excuse me, can I get this thing?
Because I think my dad had it and it was a long time.
Painful.
And it's like sweat, I think, and everything is kind of.
an issue. So we want to let you know. We appreciate the adversity that you're building up.
Let's talk about where you are with the Achilles recovery. How much are you able to work?
How much are you able to look at what Tatum's doing and know like, okay, I can come back in a big
way because I think there has been a little bit of a narrative about Achilles recoveries,
especially in our sport, I think we talked about it. And I'd assume in your guys a sport as well,
that there is a little bit of a rollout post being cleared to an Achilles becoming like full speed
again. It's normally a little bit of a stiffer start, a little slower start.
and we don't know if that's necessarily a mental thing
or it's actually the Achilles.
Tatum's come out and gone crazy.
Has that been a thought, a conversation you've been a part of
and how do you feel with where you are right now?
Yeah, we're attacking it, man.
I feel really good.
It's like when I'm running or playing,
I don't even think about it anymore.
I know like when I'm playing, when I get done, I'm like, damn,
I'm still like a step behind.
But I feel, I mean, I feel good.
I don't think about it anymore.
I'm like doing everything five-on-five,
playing full, full go, running, doing cardio, doing everything, honestly.
So, you know, seeing Jason have so much success, DeJante Murray also came back.
Seeing those guys have so much success has been awesome.
Jason and me talk pretty regularly.
So I'm excited to see his run throughout the playoffs.
You know, it's going to be fun to watch.
And, yeah, seeing him have so much success, definitely makes me excited for, you know, when I come back.
Playing games start tomorrow on Amazon.
How was the year?
Did you do Amazon?
I forget.
Yeah, I did.
I did.
did. I was a contributor for Amazon. How was it? It was good. It was good. Talk who, talk about recovery.
Then my last one, they were like, we couldn't even talk recovery because I had shingles.
I was like, I don't know how much I can really update y'all right now. But no, it was good. I enjoyed it.
Recovery has actually had to become another recovery as well. Shingles. Yeah, you've never heard of a young player having it. I got it. And eight weeks, a long time, dude. That's a long time.
I actually think I'm the first dude that this is not documented,
but we were trying to find another documented case
in anybody in the NBA having it.
I think I'm like first guy in the NBA to have it.
Hashtag stat that.
I'm the test dummy, I think.
A couple of rest.
Hey, you're the right guy for it.
Hey, you're the right guy for it.
Come on.
Come on, Tyrese.
Let's keep it going.
We need to get back to the finals round here.
So you know what?
I found myself really only paying attention to high-level stuff
as opposed to entire run, if that makes sense.
When you were playing, this is me just being a human,
I was obviously very in tune with what the Pacers were doing.
Pacers also problem in East,
so I had to pay attention to kind of everything that was going on.
This year, without the Pacers in it,
you should be up for the MVP.
Game 7 in the finals now run a lottery.
That's pretty valuable.
That's not really been talking about.
But I've learned that myself,
I've tried to stay away from it because I don't want that to be my image of the Pacers.
I don't want that to be.
I don't want us to be losing.
I don't want to be me wasting energy, paying attention.
So I've just been saying high level.
Feels like players and NBA are going to have to figure something out about something that I guess has been talked about for a long time now around the league.
Go ahead, Conman.
Yeah, Tyrese, how do you feel about the 65 game thing?
Obviously, you missed the whole year, so it didn't really matter.
But looking at some of the players, I think Cunningham, I'm not sure if he missed out officially.
Wembe, towards the end, he almost missed out.
There are some other guys that clearly didn't reach 65 games but should be eligible for awards.
Like, where do you kind of stand on that?
And also, thank you for the great shoe collection now.
Keep going with the Halleys.
There are incredible shoes.
Yeah, appreciate that, Colin.
No, I think it's interesting.
I think, listen, the NBA had to do something because at the end of day,
fans and analysts and people watch the game, they want the great players to play.
And I get that.
And we made the 65-game rule to get more players to play.
And actually, I was the first year of this rule coming into play.
I don't know if you guys remember.
hurt my hamstring that year and you know that I was fighting to make all NBA to get a supermax
contract so uh I was one of the first guys kind of affected by this and at the time I said I think this
is a dumb rule and I had a meeting with commissioner silver we talked about it and I think that I understand
from the league's perspective how we're trying to get players to play and I think at the end of the day
guys want to play like I don't think guys want to miss games but I think this is a rule that will get
adjusted going in next year because there's been so much conversation around it
because I think at the end of the day
there are certain guys that can play
more games and miss it because of the
minutes rule, which is also interesting.
I think something has to be done.
I don't have all the answers.
I don't know if I'm smart enough to have all those answers.
Because at the end of day, if it's 60 games,
there's going to be a guy who plays 59 games
and he's not able to make it, right?
There's always going to be somebody who can't make it,
can't make the rule.
So I think at the end of the day,
you have to have people who are voting on these things
of all NBA,
they have to be able to have enough feel for those awards.
I think that's what makes the most sense.
Who votes on it?
Is that a media-driven thing?
It's a media-driven thing, but you got to understand,
like, if you miss this all-in, certain guys that they miss making all-MBA,
they could miss getting their contract bumped up from a max to a superman.
Yeah, what's the difference of that?
Because media voting on something that can control how much of the money you think is that actually,
do you know?
Yeah, I think my contract, don't quote me on this.
have to look it up. I think my contract at the time
went like if I was on a regular max it was like
210 if I was super max it was 250
40 million dollars on a media vote is crazy
and I get we would be considered part of the media.
Yeah I could be off on that maybe
and potentially maybe they need to make the rule that
like the financial benefit isn't affected
on it. I don't know I don't have the I don't have the answer
but something needs to change. Yeah because there's always a
predicament.
Yeah.
You know, there's always going to be 65 games guys got to play.
Ooh, actually, actual injuries have had a couple of the big time guys that could be very affected by that.
Nope, got to be 65 games.
Well, they actually have more minutes, though, than the people that are going to play like 775
because they played so much in the first games where they won injury.
Right.
And it's like, oh, no, it's not minutes.
It's games.
They'll get you into, well, let's drop it down.
Well, okay, so we're dropping it down for these.
Are we dropping it down if this player has it?
It's like a never-ending dog chase tail there.
So Adam Silver, we know you're smart guy.
Good luck on this one, buddy.
Figure it out.
Figure it out.
Now.
Now, I'm sicking.
I'm sick and not seeing the stars play.
Exactly.
Now, if they're actually hurt, they need to at least walk out there, say hello to me.
Walk back in rehab.
I would like to see it.
It's an interesting.
It really is.
That's a fascinating thing.
The salary cap differences for a mass contract is 30% for a superman.
max contract is 35% per year of the salary cap that that team has.
Okay, so probably would be.
Of a salary cap difference.
Yeah.
And what's your salary cap at now?
What's you got a salary cap?
No clue.
I wish I could tell you that answer.
You're the greatest.
You're the absolute greatest.
Last thing here, as we move forward to playoff talk,
don't want to put you in a position to have to do that unless you would like to do that.
There's a massive weekend coming up here, bud.
Okay, as you see, the champ is already this guy.
Feels like wrestling again, doesn't it?
It does.
It feels like it's WrestleMania season
because Randy Orton
is the focal point.
Now, we appreciate Cody.
Just go ahead and understand the situation
and let me go ahead and take this change
so we can get a little comfortable with it.
I'm happy about it.
What's that?
He doesn't look happier.
That's strappist, isn't he?
What do you mean?
Oh, yeah.
Is he Cody Crowler?
Yeah, he's like.
Pat, I'm glad that you're holding the bell.
Why would I be mad that my guy's
holding the bell right now?
It's not about me.
It's about Randy Orden.
Obviously, Randy.
That's why I put it on a shirt right there.
That's why obviously we got this going on.
It's about a man that should be top of card.
And good news, WrestleMania Saturday night.
Tickets on sale right now, 25% off of us.
Thanks to ram trucks, you can still come be a part of a once in a century evening in Las Vegas.
Very rarely does this happen in sports?
You're going to be able to say, I was there.
Yeah.
This is going to be one of the ones you're going to want to say, I was there.
There's a lot about to pop off.
Darius, you want to pick the card here quickly,
who you think is going to win each match?
Every match?
Are you trying not to get any heat, brother,
and just saying everybody's going to do good.
It's me in life.
You want me to pick every match from night one?
Yeah.
Okay.
I got Liv when the woman's title match.
Congrats, Liv.
A baby, Lyft.
Really?
I got L.A. Knight and the Uso's winning the tag team match.
Oh, no.
I show speed.
Yeah.
Wow.
Speed's cursed.
Danhausen curse speed.
That's true.
I'll tell you what, that Danhausen thing needs to stay away.
I do agree with that.
You need to stay away from Dan Houss.
Don't you worry.
I already got to figure it out, Tyrese.
Okay, thank you.
It's all figured out.
It's all figured out.
Dan Housin, let's stay away for that.
Yeah, yeah.
He's out.
Hey, he's a problem.
Yeah, he is.
I love him, though.
I want to meet Dan Housin.
No!
You got your singles.
You might have already know him.
All right, please.
Let's pick the rest of that thing.
Okay, okay. I got A.J. Lee beating Becky.
What? The man?
I got, I got Guter beating Seth, unfortunately.
Bad day for the Rollins household.
I got Jacob Fatu beat. No, I got Drew McIntyre beating Jacob.
Remember, it's an unsanction match.
Yeah, first time ever. Rules are rules.
It's the were a wolf. Except tonight.
Are they going to fight in the back or something?
Maybe.
You don't know.
You don't know. You never know.
I'll tell you what. Those are two heavyweights.
I like with those two are about.
Sin City Street match.
Go ahead now, Tomi's.
Do the match.
Do the whole thing.
Do the WrestleMania main event.
The whole wrestling.
Wait, wait, wait.
You forgot the woman's tag match.
Don't forget the woman's tag match.
Wow.
I got Bailey and Lyra winning that.
I thought you'd make that.
I apologize.
That's on me.
It's 100% on me.
Bailey and Lyra.
That's good win.
That's good win.
Love what you're talking about.
Fatal four.
And then the world title match.
You know how Cody's my guy,
but I have Randy winning that man.
Yeah, you do.
Boom.
Better.
It's because you know, man.
You know better.
As a red decision, Tyrese, Reese.
You know, if Randy doesn't win and walk out of WrestleMania as a world champion,
I'm gone forever from the wrestling world.
And there's some people on the internet and I say,
we need that.
Shut up.
You don't know what you need.
You have no idea what you need.
You're looking at it and you don't even know it.
On that note, you're one of them, Tyrese.
Have a good one.
What am I?
What do you mean?
You're an outsider, just like, Gary Rhodes' family.
That's right.
I just picked you to win.
I just picked you and Randy to win.
Why are you got beef with me?
It just doesn't feel like you meant it.
Yeah.
All right.
I appreciate you.
I will let you know.
I appreciate you.
You can be out of mania?
I will be.
Oh, welcome to the Randy Orton show, Paul.
It's going to be great to have you.
The business will appreciate you being in.
It's not contagious?
Yeah, what do we, what should we do?
What do we do?
I wear sunglasses now.
Wait, how do you, what do you mean?
Shingles.
Yeah.
How do we not catch you?
How do you or not?
You wearing a bubble boy suit?
Yeah.
What do we wear?
bubble wrap on the other side.
Do we go back to the COVID thing?
It's not contagious, brother.
Okay, okay, all right, I'll look that up for sure.
You're the man.
You're the best.
I can't wait to see you out there.
How did you catch it?
Yeah, what happened?
It just, you know, from inside.
Yeah.
Yeah, from inside.
I must have been stressed.
Stressed.
Yeah, but I had chicken pox, so I have it.
So if I come in contact, it's really.
But I had chicken pox, too.
Me too.
You're good.
You're good, brother.
Look it up.
It's not contagious.
Oh, so that thing lives inside you and then it just needs to get out at some point.
And if you're a kid, it's chicken box,
and if you're over 50 or Tyrese Halliburton,
it's shingles?
Okay, I'm happy we learned that today.
All right, you're the man.
Keep battling.
We appreciate the hell out of you.
We'll see you in Vegas, ladies of gentlemen,
and Tyres Halliburton.
Yeah.
Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen,
give us more scoop on everything happening
around the NBA,
our friend, senior NBA insider at ESPN,
Sean Sharia.
Yeah, Sharmie!
Shams, wow.
You look phenomenal.
I learned a lot about shingles
and Tyre's Albert.
prayers up to him, by the way.
Absolutely. He's been battling. We've been kind of, we've been in contact with him through it all.
You know, he's been playing a lot of cards at the house because he wasn't able to leave for a long time.
So, like, he wasn't able to leave the house because the entire thing.
And I think there were some times right. Couldn't see. I'm giving way too much.
All right, we only got a couple minutes here. As we head into the playoffs, huge news, Doc Rivers fired.
Now, are you? I don't know how I feel about this because I know you and Doc Gaw a little bit of heat.
And I know you've been covering this team for a long time saying some things are going to happen.
And there's a boiling point taking place. Now, people have said, Sean, you're
talk about this for years, okay? You're chasing
a ghost, and they've continually
done things that I think you were projecting
them to not do, maybe. Hang on
De Honest, keep them together. Now,
it feels like a Domino Falls. Is that how you
view this? How do you view this entire situation?
Yeah, I mean, I haven't really
been talking about Janus and Ticompo
in Milwaukee for years. I
started reporting on it last May. This
has been like an 11, we were now
at 11-month saga that's been going
on between Janus and the Bucks. And so
listen, I just report
the news. I just document the news. And so the truth can hurt sometimes 100%. I stand by my reporting
to the 10th degree, like 100%. The reality of the buck situation is this, is Janus in his camp
informed the Bucks last May that he was ready to part ways. He was ready to move on. The time had
come after 12 years together that we all had to move on. But John Horst, the general manager of the
Bucks and Doc Rivers, the head coach, they wanted to continue to keep him and contend. And they
felt like they had the roster to compete in the Eastern Conference. They thought this team was
going to be a contender. And then they go out and get Miles Turner. You wave and stretch Damian Lillard.
And so you add all those factors together. And it's been a clear miscalculation of the situation.
Janus was very clear in his private meetings with the Bucks. He felt this roster wasn't good enough.
He had serious doubts about the roster. And so listen, in a lot of ways, he was proved to be right.
The season played out the way it played out. I think everyone in the NBA knows exactly.
what's going on in Milwaukee.
I think most people in the world know exactly what's going on right now in Milwaukee.
And so we're kind of similar where we were last year as far as Janus, as far as last summer,
where the Bucks will get a bunch of calls.
They're going to get a bunch of offers.
They already went through negotiations for Janus in February as far as trade talks.
They're probably going to revisit a lot of those same conversations with teams like
Minnesota and Golden State and Miami and the Knicks.
We'll see how the playoffs shake out.
That's going to have a big part in all this.
But listen, the reality of everything in Milwaukee is this.
If they spent as much time dealing with their own internal dynamics and problems
as they do responding to accurate reports, they wouldn't be in the mess that they're in right now.
Oh, I'm doing the job at the highest of levels that I possibly can.
Okay, so Doc leaves, you spit a bar that you've been thinking of saying for a long time right now.
I got one more for you.
I got one more for you, all right?
So I watched some documentaries from time to time.
I saw one on Fire Festival, right?
And so the part we're at now is when everyone wants to run and you're doing the cover-up.
And again, it's totally fine.
I'm just here to document and cover it the right way.
And I feel like we've done an unbelievable job, tracking everything.
And at the end of the day, the last month and a half, we've seen it.
The player in Janus has been feuding with his own team about whether he can play or not.
he wants to play. He feels he's cleared to play. He told the NBA. He told the NBA, the union, that he's healthy and can play. They felt that the Bucks did not want to clear him. And my understanding is, Janus was told that it's upper management's decision not to allow him to play. And so how that plays out, the NBA is still looking into the situation. We'll see what comes of that or doesn't come of that.
in a year filled with
tanking problems for the NBA,
now you got one of its biggest stars
coming out saying,
it's happening.
I can play.
I'm healthy,
but I've been shut down
for multiple weeks by my team
because my team wants to position
for the draft lottery.
I guess the person for the Milwaukee Bucks
who has to tell Janice he's not playing,
whoever that is, you know,
whether it was Doc or whatever the case was,
that person is kind of like the water person
for a fire fest.
Well, he's a message.
Yeah, that's the best.
That's the worst job.
That guy was ready to risk it on.
Exactly.
And whoever was telling you, honest, was like, listen, I'll do it.
I'll do it.
I guess if it needs to be done, I'll be the one that'll go staying in front of the Greek freak and tell him that, nah, you're not playing when he wants to play.
That's somebody, you need, you need that person.
You need that person.
And Firefest needed that person.
They did.
They needed water at the event.
Yeah.
At the end of the day, you needed someone to step up in a position of leadership to say this is the right thing for the organization.
This is the approach we're going to take.
But listen, John Horse and Doc Rivers believed this was a contending team that this was a good team.
Janus told him last summer, no, it's not.
I think we need to move on.
They made the decision that we're going to keep everything together.
Again, that's on them.
Them keeping Janus has nothing to do with what I've been reporting.
I've reported that he is ready and prepared for a move.
I reported that they're listening to trade offers and negotiating with teams.
Both things happened.
They didn't end up trading them at the deadline.
We'll see what happens this summer.
We appreciate your coverage of everything.
What should we look at for playoffs?
Are Lakers going to be healthy?
Obviously, them being primetime on Saturday night,
people are a little bit up in arms over the Denver game getting up in there
because of the quality of basketball versus just LeBron James's potential
last run with the Lakers being primetime selection.
What are the storylines for this weekend and also the playing games that we need to know in about a minute and a half or so, Shams?
Just brutal injuries for the Lakers, right?
They were soaring.
They were the number three seed in the Western Conference and then in the span of 24 hours.
Luca Dantich, great two hamstring strain.
Austin Reeves, great two oblique strain.
They missed the last, I believe, five or so games of the regular season.
And the expectation around the Lakers both will be out to start the first round this weekend.
So you're playing this first round.
Basically, LeBron James is your number one option.
This is a guy that went from averaging 20 points, 6, 7 assists, 6, 7 rebounds.
I mean, the last three games that he's played, he's averaging 26, 11, and 7.
We're seeing his touches go up, his scoring is going up, everything is going up.
But Luca Dantzic, he spent the last week in Spain, from my understanding, the majority of time in Spain.
He underwent multiple injection treatments in that hamstring to see, can he promote quick?
healing, can he promote, you know, an expedited return in a lot of ways for him to be back.
My understanding is he'll be back in the States on Tuesday, and then they're going to re-evaluate him.
Austin Reeves, he's out for the majority of this first-ron series.
Most likely, probably the earliest for him is going to be that first week of May.
So they have a tall task now facing Houston in this first round.
Okay.
We appreciate you joining us, Shams.
We can't wait for prime time.
NBA playoff time. We are thankful for you. You look incredible today, bud.
Yeah, very, very, very, great. You're the man. Laser Damme, Shamsaranya.
Hey, Shami. I mean, he cut a couple, he said, I got another bar I thought of.
Fire Fest, Doc, remember? I didn't know where he was going with that.
Me and either. I thought he's going with the John Rule. We went exactly where it needed to
know. Yeah, the person that has to, that offered up, I'll go tell y'all want to see any point.
Mm-hmm.
That's a tough job.
Tough job.
Need somebody to do it.
I don't know.
I don't think you do.
Well, you weren't there.
Depends on a six.
Yeah.
Depends on the sit.
We're certainly looking if we're in a house.
Let's get to a break, please.
On the other side, we've got incredible sports talk,
including a lot of NFL stuff happening.
Adam Schaeffer will join us.
Be your friend, tell friends something nice.
It might change their life.
See, on the other side.

9-1-1, where is the emergency?
It's the middle of the night in a small town on the Jersey shore.
Someone reports an abandoned car on a bridge.
A search gets underway for the missing driver, 19-year-old Sarah Stern.
Is it a missing person? Is it a suicide?
At this point, nobody knows.
Old friendships, buried cash, and a sinister plot that was once pitched as a movie, plays out in real life.
I'm Jiu Chang.

The absolute greatest. We're so incredibly lucky that we get a chance to cover it every single
day. Thank you for allowing us to do as such. We love sports, and this weekend was certainly
a showcase of competition in sport, bringing the world together while also showcasing
absolute greatness as Rory McElroy goes back to back at the Masters for the first time
since Tiger Woods did it in 2002. Now the return of the Mac,
Cool, Roy, he's a big deal, because he's kind of a heel.
Yeah, I didn't play in the first three tournaments leading up to the Masters.
Now, historically, people like to talk about playing up to the tournament as being a big time gear up for the Masters.
Normally, if you win a tournament before the Masters, you would go on to win the Masters.
Instead, Roy McElroy, after winning his first ever green jacket a year ago and potentially
having the way to the world off of his shoulders and already being an established top golfer in the history of golf,
took a bunch of tournaments off, traveled up to Augusta from his home in Florida,
put his daughter to school, went up there, played 36 holes a day,
learning the course inside and out.
Now everybody that's in golf that knows about that says,
this guy might win it every single year because of how damn good he is
and how perfect the course is for how he golfs.
Obviously, he can strike it.
The guy's outrageous.
He wasn't even playing his best golf.
Andy Norse said he's sequencing off, his timing is off.
He got a good range session in,
and it seemed like he kind of starting timing and up.
bit, but he's been, he's been winning this thing wire to wire, and he hasn't really played good.
So if he wakes up on Sunday and plays good, he's going to do, well, he had to battle.
He actually lost the lead.
There's people getting into it.
Schaeffler was going absolutely bananas.
The leaderboard was all over the place.
There was, oh, how about Hatton?
Unbelievable.
He hooded.
He really did.
Yeah.
He really did.
And he started climbing all of a sudden.
More cow.
Wait a minute.
How about Lee?
Yeah.
He.
He found parts of that course
a lot of people have never been on.
Yeah, like if we were to play that course,
it would be like how he had to play that course yesterday.
And this is why golf is just so incredibly hard, I guess.
Because this is what, a centimeter off
whenever he drove something and then this is what he ends up
and all of a sudden you're punished forever.
You know, it's a little different between us playing up here on a sim
and then playing in real life.
If a hook one left on a sim,
I'm certainly going to think to myself,
well, all right, this is in a bush,
and I'm going to hit that thing clean.
Whenever you are in a terrible position,
and you can be one from six inches away from each other,
You can be completely blocked by tree or have a little bit of a window.
And with how talented these guys are, they can kind of shape it through any field goal upright if they have it.
But at Augusta, there's a chance that you don't have that.
And then there's a chance that ball is rolling all the way into the water because of how fast the damn greens are.
Whenever you think about that day, there was a chance Roy was going to have a catastrophic meltdown.
And they're going to say, oh, no, Roy's never going to be able to win this again.
Because that was the story before he won the first jacket.
It was like, he's never going to be able to win this.
And then he won it.
And then like, now he's free.
Now he's free.
Well, if you have a meltdown Saturday and Sunday at the Masters,
a historic one, especially with, you know, a massive stroke lead,
they're going to talk about you not being able to win it ever again forever.
He was up against a lot.
There's a lot of chatter about his life.
There was a lot of things getting taken in ways that were negative.
There was a chance that his legacy would become one that he's not going to be able
to win it again, which is outrageous because of how successful he is.
And he just fought, man.
And he just started battling.
And he started winning.
And he wins for, I think, himself.
and that country club of his back in Northern Ireland.
Yeah, Hollywood.
They were having a good time back there.
The lads were packed in pretty good there.
Yeah, they were.
Packed in pretty tight.
I saw them a lot.
Slug and pints.
Yeah, there was pints of Guinness there.
They would go past split and a G,
and they'd just go ahead and down that thing.
And then as the day continued to went,
double bogey, oh, oh, come on, roar.
You know, they'd make that thing disappear.
Then all of a sudden we get a birdie on seven.
Then we start heating up for the back,
and the second, sorry.
And the boys over there are having the time.
Slanch,
Slauncha Slauncha, and then all of a sudden, Roy McElroy is saying, I'm going to get pretty boozed up tonight.
Good for him.
Good for Augusta put on an incredible tournament.
Good for golf having a Sunday that was certainly a spectacle and something that kicks off golf season in a huge way.
Kits off spring for south.
I heard that.
I think we all kind of feel that way.
Like, okay, now it's officially like warmer weather season.
So what a beautiful time to be alive.
We're thankful for it.
NBA playing games are tomorrow night.
NBA first rounds this weekend.
NFL draft is right around the corner.
for WrestleMania's this weekend.
We're living good.
The toxic table is here at Boston Connor
and at Ty Schmidt.
One half of the Hammer.
Cowboys AP Tone is here.
Nine-year NFL vet.
Darius J. Butler is here.
They look fantastic.
Thanks.
Sunday we're at.
Rood for you, Tiger.
Hell yeah.
Love you, Tiger.
Good look, Tiger.
Miss you, Tiger.
You are ass at driving.
Yep.
Okay?
You're a great golfer.
You're a great inspiration
of future athletes.
You're a legend, brother.
you are ass at driving.
Maybe worse.
Stop driving.
And on that note, pulling for you, brother.
That's right.
That's right.
Hawko, I know you got a chance to experience a master's a few years back.
You got lost for eight hours, kind of just moseyed around, found a cigar, kind of did your thing.
I could see how that would happen.
And I could also see how you probably had an incredible time doing it.
Felt like a trip back in time.
Also feels like it's back in time because Rory is just becoming this, oh, Tiger Wearing Red on Sunday type character,
where they think he's about to go on an absolute slaughter mission at this place.
It was fun to be down there, fun to watch, great day of golf.
What are your thoughts, AJ?
awesome to watch. I think even if you're not a big
golf fan at all. I'd say I'm
above casual golf fan.
I can recognize guys. I know a lot of different golfers.
I know of them I'm fans, but I feel
like every situation where you thought Rory
could wilt and, you know, piss this
one away and lose it, he kind of
stepped back and he made a play and he made a big shot
whenever he needed it. He never let it get too far away.
Credit to him, man. It was an awesome thing to watch
all day Sunday. I loved
the being. AJ, did you know
as as as helly as it is? I don't know how you're a fat
golfer.
I'm gonna say it.
I don't know how you're back off.
And I thought walking an incline
is like one of the biggest fat burners
they tell you to do that.
So like the old man work happens
of walking an incline on a treadmill.
I don't know how they do it.
It's like whenever we went out
to the American Century Classic
and we're golfing and we're walking that thing,
it's like my shit, hey.
Yeah, yeah, right, dude.
I feel like I'm in pretty good shape
and it was like blistered.
The feet get beat up quick.
The feet get beat up quick
because you're not used to walking like that.
But it's like,
it's a great, we're dripping and sweat
walking around this place.
I mean, just absolutely getting after it.
The golfers having to perform four straight days.
Andy North brought this up.
Four straight days, you've got to be able to be at your highest level.
That's why if somebody dominates from beginning to end,
you just have to tip of the cap because it's outrageous that you were able to master the masters
for four consecutive days.
It'd be like if a football game had the first quarter on one day, second quarter on second day,
third quarter on second day, third quarter on third day, and then fourth quarter on a fourth day.
And Andy North was trying to bring me into the conversation.
I'm like, don't worry about me, bro.
I just got a punk.
Probably one time in each of those, I'm probably going to do something.
sometimes you talk about me, but you're talking about actual football players, yes.
Because he talks about how you wake up.
You know, sometimes, I don't know, kids screaming all night, okay?
They had bad food.
They're pooping all night.
How tongue Lee?
So you, exactly.
Thursday night.
Had the whole thing.
You never know, and you've got to wake up body muscle, just a little tiny muscle,
tweaked on Friday that wasn't on Thursday.
How about grass and weather Friday morning versus Friday afternoon,
which obviously Scotty talked about.
The way he broke down golf was really cool for me to listen.
yeah, it's a marathon
this thing, brother.
So if you're able to battle through it all
and continue to dominate,
especially on a second nine,
that's why Scotty Schaeffer's so good for golf.
Yeah.
He was 12 back going into the weekend.
And then he ended up within one,
he said, I think it's a pretty good weekend.
I don't like the way I started, he said.
And I like the Scotty's talking a little bit more.
I like the Scotty's going,
I don't know how the,
I wish I would have played in the afternoon on Friday.
That would have been great.
I started the weekend, 12 back.
I ended up one back.
I think that's pretty good.
And it's kind of what Scottie's known for.
Scottie's just known for, you know,
moving day is normally Saturday.
If he is in, it's like he is maybe going to catch.
Always coming.
Always lurking.
Yeah, literally always lurking.
Always.
Because he's four holes away from potentially six strokes down.
And it's like he has the capability of doing that.
I'm happy he did that for us this weekend.
I'm happy Rory had to fend him off.
I'm happy Cam Young came in.
And watching that leaderboard down there, AJ, how about how electrifying that is?
Oh, yeah.
That's like our people, they're all standing there, right, waiting for them to flip it.
And then all of a sudden they start cheering or boo and doing whatever they do.
I felt like such an asshole.
Me and Foxy are sitting there with our beers.
Shout out, Michael from Stanford and UPenn.
He snagged a beer for us.
Big shot on.
Can only do two beers.
Stanford and UPenn?
Yeah, a lot of them.
You got the Corpo people who are.
And then you got the people.
Yeah, the Southerns who are like, this is the greatest place on earth.
So it's like you kind of all fall in there.
But as we were kind of sitting there watching it all come together and we're watching the
play in front of us.
It's like one hole can change everything.
Oh, yeah.
One hole can change everything.
Rory doubles that thing.
He goes from a 12 to 10 on that leaderboard.
All of a sudden, you got massive Cam Young fans, like four or five rows behind us.
Like, come on, Cam.
Like, it was.
Rosie was doing it then during the time of year.
It felt like it was the old day.
Like, it literally felt like I was in the old days when like little portions of fans.
And then you would hear the Irish lies, damn, you know, like, as I'm watching them go down.
It was so cool, it was like such a cool experience.
But the leaderboard changing was crazy.
And then the drastic moves were just like, oh, like belly.
It was like it was a spectacle.
Lucky to be there, thankful to be there.
I don't do a lot of cigar smoking.
I know you do.
So I was just trying to like do what I, you do in there.
How often am I supposed to hit that thing?
How long is that thing supposed to last?
Feel like I had these things for way too long.
I felt like I had to light them a couple different times.
We didn't have a good cutter.
So I was putting a tea into it or a pen.
one in the back hole. It was a little bit loose.
I don't think I did it right at all.
And where am I, am I allowed to,
what do we do with the ashes? Because the stuff I
smoke, ashes is actually going to disappear.
These ashes, you guys got some thick.
Oh, yeah. You guys got some thick ashes in there,
man. Where am I supposed to put these things?
Were you outdoors? I mean, you could
find a place to ash outdoors. If not, you've got to have
an ashtray.
It was tough. I'm saying, Scar is tough life.
I took two puffs and gave up.
That's because you're a watch.
Those things stink, AJ. How do you do that?
Well, you probably, we probably had some old rich guy give you some big, heavy, dark cigar that most people do not like.
That's what I would do.
We were told they were nice cigars.
Yeah, we were obviously told me as a best of a bag.
Two puffs and tossed it, Foxy.
I did not do that.
Everybody understands that I did not do that.
I would not like to be associated with the person that was me.
He left that thing, right on an astray too.
It looked like a fucking baseball bat.
Yeah.
People walking by the guy, who's the...
Jesus, who did that?
How?
How?
It's a good one.
Foxy.
Ban him.
Ban him.
People talk about.
Sergio Garcia needed to be kicked out.
Do we have a guy on right now?
Okay. Ladies to have to join us now.
He's not going to be happy about how long we just talked about.
We apologize.
That we waste this time.
I didn't hear Bruce first time Bruce said he was on.
Got into a good Augusta discussion there.
We are people that we're not supposed to be here.
Say that to a...
Don't say that. Don't shut up.
If that's real, don't ever say that again.
Bartender told me.
Because we walked in, we had no idea.
where to go we're like hey uh we're not supposed to be here like where houses kind of all go don't
say that i just don't fucking say that basically and if that's true we kind of have to report i don't know
they will try him in a bad spot yeah you will never leave so then another bartender came over i
think that particular bartender knew uh maybe what the situation was dropped a full cool two master's
napkins done and goes can't believe they let you in here boys and we're like yeah we were just talking about it
with this buddy right here.
You know, that's great to see you.
What are we supposed to do here?
What are we supposed to do here?
What are we supposed to do?
He goes, you go out that door, and there's just all there.
And we're like, all right?
And we walked out there blind, and it was all there.
And we saw it all.
We went down to Amen Corner.
Oh, yeah.
Beer's right there.
Oh, I love that.
Beard your ease.
And those nice cups, too, don't they taste great out of it?
And there's nice green.
Oh, yeah.
Beer hit different this week.
They did.
It was a great weekend for beer.
I will say.
Get more, man.
Miller Coars mostly.
Yeah, sure.
If the Rockies are blue, yeah.
Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, once again, we did it again.
This is so rude of us.
You, A, we understand if you're not happy,
but we're a little bit giddy about what happened this weekend.
You get to experience it all the time, I would assume,
especially because of who you are.
Senior NFL insider at ESPN, ladies of gentlemen,
Michigan man, Adam Schaeffter.
Yay!
He's got an eye, wow.
Of course.
Oh, hey, guys.
How's it going, guys?
Is that what you're saying, Jeffter right there with the,
Augusta National
little hoodie there
there we go
I think you
look at the picture I sing you pat
all right
Tying off with Jack Nicholas
Dong shot
oh wow
zoom in on
can I can obviously
I don't know actually
am I allowed to
yeah yeah this is Schefter
not me showing this photo
yeah
is it auto tuning
here go job
Blocky
is he was Blocky
of course
he should be so lucky
oh
the man chefty
the man
The man.
Chef, are you and Rory tight, or what's the deal?
That was last year when I had the honor of following him and Keegan at the travelers,
and that was the two guys.
And after the round, I got to spend a little bit of time with both those guys,
take some pictures.
It was awesome.
I forgot you were a golf analyst there for a tournament.
Yeah.
What did you say?
You want to do it again?
Or they said, all right.
Like, were you going to do that again?
Or how was that in that world?
And how did you, what did you think of the Masters this past weekend?
I love doing that last year, and I love watching the Masters.
The Masters, to me, always is, I mean, it's timeless.
It's the same holes every single year.
The storylines change.
It's unbelievable to watch these guys, and I just love the time of the year that it is
because it signifies that we're finally in spring.
We're getting ready for the NFL draft.
It's just, I love the event every year.
And it was great yesterday.
Congratulations to Rory McElroy for doing it again.
He was awesome.
You kind of looked out of your phone or your team over the service you to keep up with the leaderboard.
you know.
Sure.
You're having a nice Miller course.
Nice pole.
Go to Redmond.
Maybe order Buffalo Wildway.
Oh, medium wind.
I'm doing it all.
Oh, it is great.
It is great.
Making some pasta diner,
Berkman's.
You know,
I did feel like I was at a super corpo event
with the people that were there.
Have you gone down there, Pat?
All right.
Enough.
That's it.
I'm asking.
So with the conversation we're having right now.
We're having this conversation.
Have you been there?
Have you been there?
No.
There's there yesterday, Jeff.
Oh, okay.
Well, I thought I didn't know what we were going to do there.
I'm trying to.
That place is unbelievable.
You got to go.
All right, I will.
You know what?
I'm going to do that.
I'm actually going to do that.
I can't wait.
It's not easy to get in, though, Shephty.
Like, I don't think that's just something I just get to walk right into.
I think there's a lot of things.
I think there's a lot of things that had to happen for, like, you to be able to get there, right?
Don't you think that's kind of a part of it?
It's called buying a ticket, Pat.
Okay.
I didn't know it was just that easily accessible.
We will, actually, won't we, Foxy?
Well, we have to win the right.
raffle, Shefty, and then you get a chance
to go, but you might not win the raffle, and then you wait
till next year. See, that's the thing, Shepty
just got in because he's an elite.
I know. Okay, and Shephty
Michigan, Man. So one of his friends,
he's probably a green jacket. Could be.
Yeah. And I'll tell you what, when you walk in the room,
from my understanding,
you can feel the green jackets.
We've got to see them. How would you know?
Former champions is hanging around? From what I've been told,
the green jackets,
they're kind of amongst, they're kind of
like almost working at the event. From what
my understanding,
Sheffert.
I believe,
and I could be wrong,
I'm pretty sure
this is right,
that every member
of the club has to work
that event every year.
So, like,
when I went down there,
I remember certain people,
I don't know if you're allowed
to even talk about,
they're wearing green jackets,
and,
you know,
you bump into people.
It's kind of funny.
That's Schfter talking on me.
Mm-hmm.
Let's remember that.
Okay,
I would like the record to state that.
This is Schefter.
Pat.
It's a lead to play.
I've never played the course, never played the course, but I've been to master's events,
and it's like adult Disney World.
It's outstanding.
It's awesome.
Adult Disney World.
I've heard.
I can't wait.
I'll tell you what I like the actual Disney World, too.
Yeah.
Now, granted, whenever you are an asshole, it's a much different experience, you know,
whenever they're saying.
Disneyland.
Yeah, Disney World's crazy, that whole thing.
But, yeah, I love it all.
Okay, so we'll try to get down there.
We'll try to get down there.
Maybe next year.
Yeah, and next year, we'll try to get down there.
Chefie, let's talk about some things that happen over the weekend.
in the football world.
Most notably, okay, Travis Hunter,
allegedly going to one solid ball.
Okay, we are officially turning Travis Hunter
into a defense player
and then maybe have a little bit of a package on the offensive side.
That was reported by your peer, Ian Rappaport,
posting ESPN links.
Yeah.
Okay, as to become one in the NFL network, ESPN world.
obviously we're pumped up about that.
We know rap.
We know you and rap will have an incredible relationship.
But on that note, Travis Hunter immediately responds.
He goes, no, who told you this?
Huh?
Who's saying all this?
And then there was a response from, you know, basically the game.
A response from the game that was like, hey, Young Buck,
Tony Jefferson response, they told him that.
They ain't told you yet, Rook.
Welcome to the league kid.
So Tony Jefferson with an outstanding OG tweet right there.
Been around for a while.
Which is basically the game, by the way,
and you insiders know that you,
more than anybody, obviously, in this entire game.
You will know stuff way before players will know it,
way before agents would even know it somehow.
That's how your sources kind of work.
That's kind of the game.
I remember playing for the Colts and being at practice
and then getting out of practice looking at my phone
and something was broke from two minutes before that.
I'm like, how's the whole world?
Who, how is this?
They know, you know.
Can you tell me what you know about this particular situation and the conversation as a whole?
Because this was going to be, from our source says the bronze were going to draft Travis Hunter, I believe, as well.
I believe Travis Hunter was going to be drafted number two overall to the bronze if the Jags hadn't made a massive trade.
How would that have looked with the bronze versus what it was going to be talked about when Stoner told us about changing the mold?
of football as a hold down there in Jacksonville when they trade everything like that.
What are your thoughts on the situation?
What do we know right now, Schaefter, as I, way too elaborative response to inform people
what the hell's going on?
As you await your master's invitation.
Here's what I would say about Travis Huff right now.
It's middle of April, and there's a lot of ways this can go.
But here's the way that I expected to go right now.
He is going to have his snaps at cornerback spike this year.
So it was 162 snaps on defense last year, 324 an offense.
He's still going to play offense too.
The difference this year is just that they lost Greg Newsom in free agency to the New York Giants.
They traded Tyson Campbell during the year for Greg Newsom.
Greg Newsom leaves in free agency to go to the New York Giants.
They have 11 draft picks, including four on day two.
So the Jaguar is going to be very active on day two of the draft here.
Maybe they'll draft another cornerback.
Maybe they won't, but I can tell you that the plans are to use him at wide receiver, again,
just the way they did last year, and to have his spike snap at the cornerback position.
And that's why they gave up all the picks to go get Travis Hunters, to have the luxury
to be able to play him at both slots.
And if you need him at a certain spot, you can insert him at that spot.
They need him now at cornerback.
They lost a good cornerback in free agency.
So Travis Hunter's going to play a lot more at cornerback,
but he's going to continue playing wide receiver just like he did last year.
Okay, we like that.
Just like he did last year would imply that there would be a little bit more than just a couple packages.
We've seen guys play on both sides of the ball, including, but not limited to Pac-Man Jones,
I believe, played special teams as a returner.
I don't think he ever fair caught.
obviously was a corner in the NFL for like 14 years or something.
I forget what it was.
And then he also had offensive shit because of how elusive he was.
I believe Devin Hester had similar packages.
I think there was, although Devin didn't play on defensive side of the ball,
I guess that would not count.
Yeah, Marcus Jones right now kind of does for New England.
He'll play offense.
He'll catch a couple bubble screens, and he returns puns and kicked.
Julian Edelman did it for a little bit.
Charles Woodson for a little bit.
Charles Woodson did it for a little bit.
Mike Brable did it for a little bit.
Mike Brable cut some touchdown.
JJ Y.
J.J. Y.
So we have seen like,
the elite athletes in the past go on both sides.
But if you're saying it's going to be similar to last year,
I think everybody was expecting that.
That was a little bit more than what was expected.
And if he continues to grow into both roles, that'd be dope.
But man, it's going to be hard to believe that the body's going to be able to do it.
But I know he is considered a guy that never gets tired in better shape than everybody else.
And it's like the body, if it can hold up sweet.
Can the mental as well, they say he's high football IQ?
is like, do we still believe that it's possible after he gets hurt in year one whenever everybody thought he couldn't?
I hope that there's somebody that's standing by it a little bit.
And it sounds like you're saying the Jags are still very open to the opportunity of him playing best stats.
Debut your thoughts?
Getting hurt, that's going to happen.
Regardless of what position you play, you're going to get hurt in the NFL.
That's a foregone conclusion.
But the mental part of it for me, like the game is so tough week to week.
And you know you have the game planning and you can have a certain route,
but that's going to change depending on coverages, depending on how they're playing those coverages.
And the same thing on defense.
And we're going up against, you know,
Jamar Chase or Justin Jefferson or C.D. Lam on one of these receivers,
like these quarterbacks, you have certain game plans that change on third down,
red area, two minutes.
So there's so many different things that you have to do.
That's why so many older players came out and said, look, he can't do this.
I don't care how good he is, how talented he is.
He can't do this.
And then from the Jaguar standpoint, at what point do you say,
okay, we have to just put them full time on one side to get a return on our investment
before we have to make another decision to pay him a ton of money.
So I'm interested to see how to play a ton of money.
plays out physically. I think you handle both ways. For me, it's more so the mental aspect of it.
So I'm all for putting him 90% on one side of the ball. And then because he is so dynamic, you know,
figure out, you know, get the ball in his hands four or five times a game.
Go ahead, Shepty. I don't think he's going to play less wide receiver. I don't think he's going to
play less, but he's going to play a lot more at cornerback. Okay. And you look at their defense,
Chifty. We put together a potential of their defense. And obviously they have the chance to add two
great pass rushers. Yep. Okay. On the.
outside, inside Stout, and then now a corner if you're able to get locked down in defensive area,
it's like the Jags could, you know, hey.
I don't like it, okay, because the Colts area, AFC, South Kings.
We just hadn't won't won the crown in a long time.
Sure.
Well, it was last time recently?
It's been more than a decade.
Oh, it's a new year.
Like 10 years decade or is different, like you guys say something different around here for decade?
Yeah, more than 10 years.
I think it's been 11 or 12, but it ain't about that.
It's a decade plus.
Okay, it ain't about that.
Houston Texas is a good football team
They are.
Jacksonville Jaguars.
It feels like they're actually
They're playing in Orlando too.
You normally whenever you have to play
somewhere other than your home stadium
it's like kind of ass, right?
It's normally not good.
Orlando is awesome.
Orlando is...
And the stadium is the perfect size.
It'll definitely feel...
It's going to be like perfect for them.
Titans are yodeling?
Titans are better than the cold sound too?
No, sir.
Thank you.
They've won a division title this decade.
All right.
Let's talk about the Colts.
Go ahead, Ty.
Yeah, speaking of the Colts, Jeff, you reported over the weekend that the Colts and Kenny Moore have kind of mutually agreed, hey, we need to find a trade partner.
You know, this is a good run, but it's over.
What's the latest on that situation?
And if this is going to happen, how quickly do you think we'll see Kenny Moe with a new team?
I think that you always see a slew of moves made draft weekend.
Like, to me, it wouldn't surprise day two, day three.
we saw Kenny Moore dealt at that point in time to a team that likes him, that didn't get a slot cornerback that it wanted, that comes up in the last day.
You always see moves like that made around the draft.
So I think that's the first and next window to see a Kenny Moore trade here, day three or so.
And look, it's out there.
People know that he's available.
And it sounds like he and the cults have had very amenable conversations.
They're both on the same page here.
and it's the only question now where he's sent to during the draft, I would guess.
A meanable is certainly a good way to describe those conversations.
If you were to use another word instead of amenable, you would say, no, amiable?
Medable.
Medable or amenable?
You said amenable.
I don't know.
To be honest.
I don't know what either of a mean.
I didn't know if you were saying amicable.
I don't know if you were saying, what is amenable?
Well, I don't know here.
amenable and amicable amenable like there's there's a lot of options here i'm talking to your words
i'm trying to figure out what you're in here you i'm trying to figure out what you said michigan man
okay i'm trying to figure out your big brain you said kenny and the colts have had some amenable
conversations is that mean amenable is open to suggestions so amicable
well hey hold on though amenable is open to suggestion so they probably exactly they're both
amenable applicable conversations exactly i think this would be amenable potentially someone
open to suggest medable no but amenable too you you're
You never know. Hey, why's up?
Why's up?
You know, the whole thing.
It's like you're from London.
Hello, governor.
It's always fun whenever you can do that.
Chin up, might.
Whenever you say amenable and amicable and everything,
you're saying they both understand that they're done, basically.
This is kind of one of those situations.
Yeah, yeah.
Here's a very basic way for me to say what I was trying to say
when I came off like the moron that I am.
They're on the same page here, Pat.
They're on the same page.
We are the moron.
Not you, brother.
Don't you worry about any of that.
Okay, so Kenny Moore, we would like to say thank you for your service, Indianapolis.
Hello, Kelly.
He showed up here.
He bawled out.
He had great moxie.
He represented the Colts very well in the community.
He's beloved here in Indianapolis, and celebration is sweet.
I mean, Kenny, Kenny Moe is beloved here in Indianapolis.
So if him in the organization have the similar feeling as the city and he have,
and he has just like, hey, thank you for everything.
obviously just hasn't worked.
Maybe we get a positive outcome for you.
That's good shit.
I appreciate that that's happening.
We will miss Kenny Moe, though.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, let's not get.
Came to the old office.
Yeah, we love, hey.
Kenny's gone.
Great community, too.
You need some leaders.
That's what I'm saying.
Kenny is, I thought Kenny was.
Great on the field.
He reached at the market.
I believe he became one of the highest-paced slot corners
when he signed his last deal.
And then obviously on the football field,
nine years here,
unbelievable time,
especially as an undrafted, free agent.
And then off the field,
he's been great in the community.
We'll watch a payment in the year.
Just, you know, we got nothing but great things to say about Kenny.
He's got a lot of good football left.
Good luck, Kenny.
We got him, Kenny.
I don't love that.
That's just, you know.
Lost a win.
A lot of guys are jumping ship.
Kind of got to respect it.
Respect what?
How much can you take, you know?
Hey, nothing's changing around here.
I guess I'll just come me out of here.
No, it was amenable.
Okay, let's talk about amenable things.
that is a team and their draft prospects.
We're getting close, very close.
Obviously, WrestleMania is this weekend,
and then the draft, the NFL draft is next week.
Dreams are going to come true.
Lives are going to change,
and potentially pillar players
are going to land in their homes forever.
Cannot wait for that.
Let's go to some convos around that entire thing
next Thursday night, live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Cannot wait to be there live.
Shreggs and Diggs will be in their
Trailer of Brain trailer
The Brainer. The football
Brainer. The Brainer. The football brainler.
Live from the football brainler.
Right behind our set here.
Tone and Shrags will be in there, obviously covering that.
We'll have all the boys. We got some special guests lined up.
I cannot wait to celebrate the next generation of NFL superstars.
But on that note, Tone has a question for you, Shephti.
Yeah, Shepty, since it is next week, you know,
The storylines are kind of coming together now.
Obviously, everybody knows the draft.
99% starts at number two, whether that's going to be Rval Reese or David Bailey or maybe
somebody else.
But besides that, what do you think the storylines are?
What's the biggest headline that you're watching going into this final week before the draft?
Well, that's a great question.
We're in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh's got more picks than any team in the league right now.
They've got 12 going into the draft.
and Pittsburgh right now also doesn't have an answer from its quarterback.
Now, I know that everybody expects him back, believes he's going to be back,
but the last I checked, they were getting an answer,
or they thought they were getting an answer 30 days after the season.
That hasn't come.
Then they thought it would be mid-March.
That hasn't come.
Then it was supposed to be, Art Rooney said he was hoping to have an answer by the start of the draft.
So we're waiting to see if number eight weighs in and commits or doesn't commit,
or announces his intentions to come back and play or not.
Again, I know everybody expects he's going to be back.
We all believe he's going to be back, but he still doesn't give him an answer.
So if he hasn't given them an answer by the time the draft starts next week,
do the Pittsburgh stills at some point in, drafts quarterback?
Do they draft a quarterback anyway?
How high do they draft a quarterback?
I just think it's kind of an interesting little question here that's sitting there until number
eight ways in.
Now, again, you know, it would be cool.
What will be cool is if at some point in the draft,
he walked down on the stage and announced he was coming back
oh it's like WW
I can say it now
they play Renegade
and he comes walking out
to announce the Steelers
What's he waiting forage?
That would be pretty cool to do this
Oh mama
I'm in fear
for my life from the law
now I'm not the love
Oh shit is that Roger
Not even Thursday
He's doing it day three
He's doing it Saturday
Remember he was going to do that big night out too.
Yeah, that was certainly a lot of expectation
that other people were putting on a program that wasn't possible.
Feels like that happens in wrestling a pretty good amount as well.
But Big Night Out certainly had those situations.
It would be incredible if Aaron Rogers walks out.
Does the Dap-up with Goodell?
Yep.
Full circle moment.
Because remember, his draft night wasn't the most fun.
He comes out to O Mama.
Sticks, Renegade.
Place starts sensing a little bit.
Holy fuck.
That is him.
He starts walking across the stage.
He goes, yes, he inserts.
Yes, you can hear me.
And this is exactly what Aaron Rogers would definitely want to do.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, stand, stand, yell at me.
And he walks over to Roger Goodell and goes, I got this one, Chief.
Okay, pushed him to the side, grabs the card with the eighth pick of the NFL draft,
a man who's going to be joining a team that I will be the starting quarterback for.
And it plays...
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome.
He opens it up and goes,
damn, this is a terrible pick.
Quarterback, Ty Simpson.
But that would be a great moment.
I mean, I'll tell you what,
if Goodell would let him maybe,
maybe we get a gut punch
and we do a stunner in this entire thing,
something like that for the eighth pick,
that would be dope.
And AJ, you would know better than us.
That sounds like something
that would be raked on his kind of lane, right?
Yeah, he's been real mum on his plans,
but now that you lay it out like that,
yeah, why would he not?
He might start the draft.
and say, hey, I'm coming back, and then
then Goodell comes out. So it's a big, big pop on the bat.
Welcome to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I mean, nobody's heard anything on the time.
It just keeps being pushed down the line.
And at some point, like, what are they saying, Shifty?
What are they telling you?
You know, they're pushing down the line.
What are the team saying?
The team's got to be, if the team's frustrated,
wouldn't they reach out to you and let you know?
That's not what the Steelers do.
They're not frustrated.
Again, okay, I just think people thought there would be an answer.
I remember hearing, like, asking various people, and they're like, yeah, we should have an answer here in 30 days.
Okay, great.
Well, 30 days came and went.
Oh, I'm like, where are we at?
Where are you now?
Answer.
And like, you know, we should have an answer mid-March.
I'm like, great, okay.
Well, we're mid-March.
We haven't, no.
Now we have our ruling, we expect to have an answer before the draft.
We can have an answer.
I don't know, wait to see.
He's busy.
He's got 10 more days.
He's busy.
Mercury is in retrograde.
How's it going to make a decision when Mercury's in retrograde?
Okay.
What does that mean?
Is that amenable to...
What does that mean?
What does that mean?
Well, when the mercury's in retrograde, his stones don't align.
Okay, so he's not seeing the world clearly.
His stones are...
I think they're making a mockery as something.
That's not real.
Is there no crystal shops in Pittsburgh?
There is a lot of crystal shops in Pittsburgh.
Thank you very much.
Guys busy having sex.
I was going to say...
Got too much stuff in his stones right now.
Once he depletes all that, then he's ready to play.
There you go.
Not yet.
On his time, okay?
because he is in good shape.
Exactly.
We know he is in good shape.
So I do like that ownership has come out.
We're expecting an answer before the draft.
That's a big statement.
You know, that's a big statement.
But once again, in the NFL, you know,
draft will come and go and then like three days afterwards.
That statement doesn't matter anymore.
You know, because everything could change.
Speaking of everything changing, there's some rumors of buzz
about what Thursday night could look like into the weekend.
Go ahead, DeButch.
Yeah, Shepty, from what you're here,
are we expecting a trade heavy draft this weekend, well, next weekend?
It's a good question.
I think usually the way that trades are driven in a draft are from quarterbacks.
And with the lack of them in the first round,
I don't think that we're going to get more trades than usual in the first round.
Look, we've already seen more player trades this offseason from where we are now than any
offseason in NFL history. So the trading part has come with players. And I still think that we still
could get more player trades on draft weekend. And there will be the usual activity of some teams
jockeying around the board, moving up, moving back. But I don't think it'll be more than usual.
And it might just be less than usual. Because again, last year, if we think about it,
the Giants jumped up to 25, I believe, to go get Jackson Dart.
And is somebody trading up to 25 for Ty Simpson this year?
Again, maybe, maybe not.
That could happen.
If it does, that be one trade, but that would be the only quarterback trade.
So I think we're certainly not going to get more movement across the board.
I'm not expecting in a draft like this, but there are always this sum.
Okay.
Is Dexie going to be dancing out there?
Oh, yeah.
I got to figure that out.
Yeah, they definitely do.
Not the only one.
Dexter definitely does need to be deemed done, you know, for them sooner than later.
Because this is somebody that, what, everybody would want?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
This is a, we can get sexy Dexie on our team, a guy who I think everybody thinks is hilarious.
Yeah.
And is also unbelievable at football.
That's crazy because his contract says he's not going to get paid as much as somebody who
as an elite pass rush or D. Lyman,
but he certainly thinks, but they have two years, right?
And they're not, though they have two years of this thing?
Yes.
Right now.
That's not a lot of leverage,
but if you obviously put it into the world
that potentially available,
John Harbaugh, is he going to just move on from Dexter Lawrence?
John Harbaugh's always had a great defense.
Always had a great deal.
He saw it coming.
He said, I saw it a couple weeks ago.
The Giants, okay, I ran in some Giants, folks.
Mm-hmm.
This weekend at a golf tournament, chef.
and they seemingly have a lot of hope.
Oh, yeah.
Like they are...
They're the team this year.
They are very, very, very optimistic.
That was pretty cool to hear because obviously we experienced Bruce every day where he's like,
yeah, this is the year we're really doing it.
It feels like there is a sense of optimism amongst the Giants.
Would Dexter getting sent out of town diminish that or how would you feel about that, Bruce?
Well, first of all, I'm not convinced.
I'll answer that.
I'm not convinced.
I don't think they don't want to trade them.
I think they prefer to hold on to them.
But the question is, can they figure out something that's going to keep sexy, dexy happy,
and keep them in New York?
And that's what we're going to find out here.
But if you go back to last year, there was a period, point in time, a brief period,
when Cam Scadaboo was healthy.
And it was right before Malik neighbors went down and Jackson Dart started playing,
like I said, a brief period, where you looked at that team.
And they had more juice than any recent Giants team, which isn't saying a lot.
But they looked like one of the most exciting.
young teams in football. They were a team that looked like they were going to compete for a
playoff spot, have a chance for a playoff run, and then they lose neighbors and things started
going south and the season dissolved from there. But right now, they've got to figure out
this extra Lawrence issue. He obviously wants to have his contract addressed. He's coming off
a slightly down year compared to what he's played like in other years, all pro in other years.
And so the Giants are trying to figure out a way to make him happy. They'd rather not deal
them, but I can tell you, there are teams out there that are trying to figure out there's a way they can make it happen.
Okay, let's talk quickly about another trade that just took place. Dontavian Wicks, heads over to Philadelphia.
They also brought in Hollywood Brown, right, this off season? And this is all with a bunch of A.J. Brown smoke kind of happened.
Elijah, more they brought in as well. The Patriots obviously were a talking point because of Raves' relationship with A.J. Brown.
And whenever people saw what they were like in Tennessee, they obviously start.
linking them together up there to New England.
Are they just trying to get 100?
How's this?
More weapons?
What are your thoughts on moving Dontavian wicks to Philadelphia Eagles?
Yeah.
I think there's a case where an AJ Brown trade remains in play.
I think there's every possibility that he could be traded.
Everybody around the league believes that doesn't mean it happens,
but it's certainly on the table.
And so the Eagles have taken the steps they need to.
Now, you know, you can look at it the other way and say, okay, they went out and added Elijah Moore too.
Elijah Moore and AJ Brown were college teammates. Maybe you're trying to entice AJ Brown.
But I think when all of a sudden done, I think I'd lean him being traded.
And they now have gone out and added Don Tavian Wicks.
They've added Hollywood Brown. They've added Elijah Moore.
I think they've taken off some of the emphasis that they need to go get a wide receiver, let's just say, in round one.
I would think that they're going to draft a wide receiver here at some point in time.
I still think the chance of an AJ Brown trade are real, real.
Okay, this is the first time you've said that just a couple seconds ago,
you said you think he is going to get traded.
I think in my brain immediately he went like, oh, is that new information?
I was just at a golf tournament that didn't allow cell phones on the course, Schefter.
The last two days, I didn't know if this was just known stuff and I was sitting in the sun and I got scorched.
Did we, I think we've done a lot of, they don't want to move on from him.
they don't want to move on from him.
This feels like the first time I heard you say that they are probably going to move on from him.
Well, I think I've been pretty consistent.
I've leaned more likely to trade than not, and I'm still in that camp.
Further on that camp, in that camp?
Say it again?
Further into that camp now with the Don Tavian Wicks trade?
That didn't move my needle at all.
I mean, to me, it's just another sign that they are willing to move on from him.
Just another sign.
Like, reinforcing what we're.
thought all along, which is that a trade is in play, remains in play, and that there's
real possibility it's going to happen.
You're saying a needle can't get a little motion with the Dantavian Whix trade, but it certainly
solidifies some thoughts that we've had for a while.
I like that.
Okay, last question here, Schaefter, on NFL news comes from Don Durgahead, Conman.
Yeah, Chefty, basically Goodell said, hey, get used to Australia.
We're coming back here.
We love it here.
Everyone's all in, down in the Bobby.
Can we assume that they're going to end up starting the season in Australia for the coming years
just because it's going to be too tough to fit in some sort of Australia game midseason,
week five, whatever you want to call it?
Or what's kind of your read on what Goodell is saying here about the NFL staying in Australia for the long haul?
Well, what I would say is that the league has typically opened the seasons with the Super Bowl champion
on Thursday night.
And this year they modified that to move the Seahawks to Wednesday night for the first time.
since 2012 when Barack Obama had the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night.
So here's a case where if they move it to Wednesday and it works with Australia on,
it's Thursday night, it's Thursday night Friday morning in Australia, 10.35 a.m.
in Australia, Thursday night in the States.
If it works, the league is going to do whatever it can to grow the game internationally.
And if Australia takes the game as the league is expecting and the game is a success,
as the league is expecting.
I don't know why they wouldn't be back there again next year.
Now, would it be the same weekend?
I don't know.
They could always plan it around a team's buy weekend in the middle of the year
and make sure that those two teams had to buy the next weekend.
But if Australia hits this year the way that everybody thinks it will,
then it could absolutely become a regular part of the international rotation.
Because we're just going to see more and more international games.
And if and when we get to the 18 game schedule,
then I think we get to the point where everybody's,
playing at least one international game.
And look, all you have to do is pay attention to what's going on here.
The NFL is divvying up territories across the world like it's monopoly streets.
Everybody gets some streets.
So you're an NFL franchise.
You get the Italy rights.
That's the Browns.
They're clearly right.
Yeah.
So everybody's getting rights to cities.
And they're not doing that for the fun of it.
They're doing it because those teams are going to be playing there.
I can't wait to see the game in Fiji.
Oh, yeah.
That'd be sick.
Norway.
Oh, my.
Up in the mountains.
Word.
Party.
Pallet?
Come on.
There's got to be some.
Now, it wouldn't stink to travel these places.
It would be a dream to be able to do these things.
Toa.
Up in the Alps, there was a country I played soccer in the Alps.
Lichtenstein.
There it is.
The stadium was right in the middle.
All the roads lead to the stadium of the entire country, basically.
And I got chance to play soccer as a teenager there.
It was awesome.
just kind of watch a by they would certainly pile in for pittsburg steelers green bay packers yeah
yeah oh boy dobbudabi oh my god i didn't even think about it where they can use those fans
that were used for the world cup boom remember because it was so hot they had to put fans in in
the stands and they actually were just blowing fans everywhere we'll have air moving moving around
in there that's where we're headed huh say hot that's that's where the game's going think about that
Greenland.
Yeah.
Remember, we were at the Pro Football Hall of Fame down the basement of looking at the vault of all the old shit.
Do you think whenever they were drawing the grid for the gridiron five yards by five yards had to do that because people were dying in the previous version of that?
Do you think they would say, we got a game in Australia?
That's so far away.
In the middle seat on that point?
Writing a letter, you assholes have no idea what is possible with our great game.
It's incredible where the game's going.
We're obviously pumped about it.
And Gadell said, coaches, enough.
Mm-hmm.
Okay?
You're all adults.
With all due respect, they don't care what the coaches say.
Like, Kyle Shanionic, he can complain all he wants.
They want him of Australia.
He's going to Australia.
That's the way it goes.
And that's what Gidell said.
He said, coaches, you know, they want their own routine.
If they had it their way, they play 1 o'clock, 4 o'clock,
every single Sunday they'd be able to do.
He understands.
He understands, yeah.
And I have no jet lag.
Science told us basically what to do lane in the other.
day. I'm fantastic. So we could do. Yeah. They're relatively easy trip. Yeah. So is that what he said.
So he's got an app. He'll share it with sharing it. Yeah, we have science to figure this out.
The science is, and I learned this from Bull Rush, uh, okay, shout out of Bull Rush. We are landing in the
morning over there. Okay. So just easiest way to look at this. If you're landing in the morning,
you need to be waking up whenever that thing lands. Now to get to a point in which you can fall
the sleep and then wake up in the
that's the struggle that's where you're
having a 24 hour day that's where
you're fighting through but you're going to be so
exhausted you might it sleep nine eight and a
half nine hours there so as long as you can
get to the final end of that flight
you can just and then you're up and then
it is just like another day I landed
in Brisbane well I landed in
Melbourne then I went to Brisbane
not close at all which is a far flight too
not close at all the place is
fucking gigantic over there
it did not know that I thought we could get a
car. I was like, we got a couple of days. I'm like,
this was sick. You got to see some
roofs, drive through here. Let me go, maybe
stop by the Irwin's place. They're like, that's nowhere
near here. And also, Brisbane,
okay, you're going to be driving a long
time. It's like, all right, sweet, I guess I'll
fly. You land there, it's just a morning.
Like, you just wake up in it today.
Wasn't that big of a problem. Coming back was the biggest
issue I had. Coming back.
Yeah, they're going to play a football game.
Yeah. Coming back was the issue.
Well, they got to play against somebody who had to do with the same
shit, right? Out there, but coming back.
I'm back week two.
No, it's probably some team that was just chilling week one.
I mean, the first one in Australia.
It's all bullshit.
We don't need to go to Australia.
Everybody's different, too.
Everybody is awesome.
I agree.
They don't even be playing football there.
We go, we go on vacation.
Yeah.
We're going on vacation in Australia.
We're living good.
That's a long.
Yeah, when are we going?
You know, I would never do that, but some people would.
All right.
As long as the East Coast team.
Anything else we need to talk about.
Go ahead.
Sorry, Shepter.
You're going to say something?
No, I remember I went to Australia with the Denver Broncos back in 1997 or 8.
they played a preseason game there.
We went there for three, four days,
and I remember coming home,
and with all due respect to the commissioner,
I remember I was a little bit jet lag.
Careful.
The way home is tough.
The way home is the...
You didn't have the app,
you didn't have the app, though, at that time.
True.
No.
We got signs.
No.
Don't you got those things
you just kind of slip one of these in,
you'll wake up.
Right out, bush and tail, baby.
We've got the rest of the football season to play.
We're excited for that.
Draft feels like we're getting close
to the NFL season.
That is a beautiful thing.
Obviously,
Master's Weekend with Schaefter's been.
I don't know if you guys know this.
Sheffers been there many times.
He actually told us a lot of information about it, didn't he?
Yeah, basically everything.
Yeah, he told us a lot of information earlier.
We heard it.
We heard it, but he loved it.
He absolutely loved it. How could you not?
Draft next week.
We appreciate you.
We'll see you over in Pittsburgh.
Yeah, I look forward to it.
It'll be awesome.
This is one of the best times in the NFL calendar,
10 days away here, and it's going to start picking up here.
Look forward to it.
You're the man.
Let's drive some, you know.
What's the schedule, at least?
May, May, here.
Oh, yeah.
I'm Blake you brought that up.
Tuesday, May, May,
12, Wednesday, May 13, Thursday,
May 4th, May 4th, May 4th,
May 4th, May 4th.
Sorry, that sweet spot,
May.
12, 13, 14.
Everyone knows who's going where it went.
Okay, and that's what it's all about.
And I know that where we're headed
is a place where you,
the Rappaport,
are going to be a tag team of breaking news.
Wow.
Tag team champs.
Yeah.
Don't think Chef.
Shafter is saving it.
Whoa.
Saving it.
Hey, we appreciate your guys
this contribution to sport,
actually, you're the man.
Ladies and gentlemen,
senior NFL insider for ESPN,
Adam Schechter.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Is that?
I ain't given any news.
Oh, no,
I roused him up
because there was that story
that came out
that basically said,
like, they view
rap or does the air parent
to Adam Schuster?
He basically said when I was doing
his podcast,
like, I ain't fucking retiring.
I ain't happening any time soon.
He was,
he was pretty fired off about that.
So he covers,
he covers,
the NFL a lot. Okay.
Quarterbacks in the middle of their prime.
Another quarterback gets drafted as a young. He reports it.
Hey, you got to do what you got to do.
Now he is.
Oh, I think about it.
Quarterback in prime.
Oh, yeah.
And there's others saying it.
I don't know who always said that that is the situation here.
He has not said that.
He has not been told that, I assume.
A lot of people just finding out how old Shifty is, too.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah. Looks amazing.
It's like a Montana Steve Young.
Sheffty is an animal.
And I don't.
think he thinks about stopping ever.
No, no. So whenever people are like, when this
old hag, Schaefter's done,
this guy will step right in.
Schefter's like, who fucking runs
the game? Yeah. Yeah.
You know how long I've worked to get to the top of this place?
What do we even? And he doesn't have
a... He's a coach. Shefty's a coach.
He's going to die with both phones in his hand, just like an old coach
darned with a clicker. There's a chance.
Hell, it might be three phones by then. We don't know what technology
would do. That's right. Might have a contact.
He'd say. Neurolink. Yeah, yeah.
Plugged in. We've seen others.
heard of others at least.
All right.
We're back tomorrow somehow.
We can't thank you enough
for allowing us to do this for a living.
We'll continue digitally.
YouTube, ESPN Plus, Disney Plus,
TikTok Live and X,
and then sports centers
on the other side of this three-minute break.
Be a friend, tell our friend,
something nice and might change their life.
We're gonna send together, aren't we?
Tomorrow!
I missed the tomorrow.
I say, yeah, yeah.
It sounds like a cough probably.
No, no.
Scared to death to sneeze.
Oh, I bet.
Oh, yeah.
Down there.
Paul and everywhere.
Oh, yeah.
I didn't know Pauline could do what he was doing down here.
Oh, yeah.
There's a thick layer around here as well.
Big time.
It's the time we got to stay seed up.
Yeah.
Seed up.
It's killing me.
See ain't doing shit.
Oh, somebody sneezed right before Rory's about to take a shot.
Yeah, he stepped off.
Yeah, he stepped up to the way.
Guys.
Boots on the ground, I'd like to let everybody know.
Rory's allergies used to it because he'd been there for the last three, four weeks.
He had the honey, local honey probably, which I've been told kind of helps.
After dropping poppy off.
the entire thing. Yeah, after good
dadding. Nobody's talking about that.
In the entire, how could you not, really?
But the, it did feel,
there was a couple of these for me.
You know, sneezing.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
There was a guy.
I mean, we were right next to this guy.
And then it's just like, you start getting
a little, a bit of a tip of there.
Feel it coming, yeah.
No way, dude. No fucking
way is this about to happen right now?
Because I think I'm maybe banned immediately.
if you do them like because they would think it's on purpose yeah all of a sudden it took a
little bit longer they tore us to back up i was able to do a down in there and then kind of back up
and kind of get into it but there was a chance where he was at when he was at it with the ticker
that i was feeling that fucker was coming at some point after setup after after it was gonna
maybe when he's in motion it might have been maybe with the way he was addressing ball at time
the way it was moving that which i don't know what is it
Can somebody fucking explain to me what it is?
Can we beat this thing?
How do we beat these things?
Clareden.
You got to get clarend.
You don't think that you can just take one pill.
You got to basically be on that thing for two weeks,
and then you're going to be good moving forward.
But if you wake up one morning, like my allergies are fucking terrible,
and you take one of those things, it's not going to do anything, unfortunately.
So we just can't beat it?
What about it when I feel the tickle?
Oh, yeah.
How do I do it?
Do I blow it out?
Really, at that point, you're kind of just submitting.
You're lucky.
We talking about sneezing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh.
Yeah.
I mean, you gotta go ahead and sneeze at some point, right?
You gotta let it go.
No, I agree.
But Augusta National golf course.
No, I think in that situation.
I'm surprised if Gus doesn't have filters for the pollen.
Or sneeze shed.
They've got someone building like building some things, yeah, to take the pollen out there just for that week or something.
Orge tissues.
We got a pollen count here in Indianapolis.
It's 9.3.
Oh, fuck me.
Fuck me.
that's not good
yeah
I've been two weeks away
oh layer of it
oh yeah
did Foxy
Foxy this weekend
sounded like he was
chewing on so raspy
all weekend
people I made him
they're like
you got a
unique voice
yeah
country singer
he was unbelievable
ran in the right
Thompson
he he's got the juice
he did
he do a voiceover again this year
yes he did
about him and his dad
And the story that he told there is, I think it was very nice for us to be able to hear it.
Outstanding.
Because it is like, he talked like from the South.
Yeah.
Like, hey, this is how this is viewed.
You know?
And it was fucking great.
It felt very genuine.
And this was before we drank some bourbon that is very hard to get.
Oh.
Very hard to get.
I was told directly from the bourbon company, owner of company.
Okay.
When I asked, so how do you get this stuff?
How would I go about getting this stuff because it's so good?
Go to all local liquor store signing for the lottery.
A lottery.
People wait outside at 6 a.m. like 50 people deep.
I know why.
The old-fashioned I had was.
Yeah, it's delicious.
Oh, my God.
It was so delightful.
I said, okay, when do I?
So when do I?
When is that happening right now?
Yeah, you're doing that, right?
I don't know when it's happening.
Definitely.
I don't know if any booze is worth that.
No.
And I love drinking booze.
I don't know.
I'm going around to every liquor store trying to find it.
And then if you can't, just be like, all right, well, fuck.
I guess I'm not drinking this.
No, I think once you taste it, though, you think to yourself, I would like to have this again.
Which is kind of, I think, the experience that we had.
They didn't gift you one?
No.
Well, that's what I was hoping.
There's only a certain amount of bottles, brother.
True.
Yeah, exactly.
We're not doing gifts.
They'll do a lot of charity.
A lot of, like, giveaways and things like that, which is obviously fantastic.
but yeah there's only a certain amount of bottles there so they say i mean true that could be their
gimmick but whatever the case is it's worked for a long time yeah 30 1935 yeah long time 1935 and those
barrels had to be before 1935 so you're talking like talking prohibition to hondo actually
there was six distilleries that were still allowed to operate during prohibition actually
hundreds of them got shut down just so happened that this was one that they were a part of
learn this in a quick story or i i know a lot about the fucking bourbon business i heard a lot i heard a
lot and i was very close to person given presentation have a lot respect for person given presentation
and but when you're there you're on stage yeah i was i was you know everything
yeah phone right there hadn't had phone all day so would like to maybe catch up but then
disrespectful and people watching me do that also there was a tv on right next
to us, too. Couldn't look at it, though.
I couldn't look at it. Yeah, story.
Everybody else could, though, because it was right behind speech.
You had to staring at it. Because if I was to do this one,
guy giving speech right here.
So, Texas Oklahoma softball game?
Great game. Battle.
Saw it out of Perif here because I had to do a,
mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, whoa.
Okay. Then look at Foxy.
did you fucking get that?
You need to learn a little song.
Me and Foxy were certainly in the only positions
where we had.
We were kind of the background
background dancers for the guy story.
Yeah, I had to listen. And we had no idea what was
coming. So we didn't know when, what was happening to
what. So certainly a scene.
And then we got a swing lesson. We did do that.
You guys were swinging?
No, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What? No, no. Golf.
Oh.
Goal. No, potapples at that place.
Is AQ showed up?
No, no, no. There was a...
No, no, he did not.
He would have loved it, though.
He would have loved the
Bourbon speech.
Chris from Iowa, the Quad Cities.
Oh, hell yeah.
I told him immediately as soon as he said,
he was from the Quad Cities,
that that place got buried on our show
by Ty Schmidt and kind of Tyrese,
but we have walked back to those statements
and we appreciate him.
Gave me a golf lesson, no big deal.
You need to put a backwards fucking hat on.
Then you get onto a brick wall,
just like this right here.
Then I need to take a weighted ball.
Okay.
I need to take you on a swing back.
I'm gonna banging a pile, okay, turn their shoulders a little bit.
And I need to be able to lift up that left leg without moving my head off the wall.
Just do it.
You got a brick wall right behind you.
Okay, so I'm fucking doing it right now.
Wait, here's a little wall.
I'm doing it right now, age.
Okay, so head is on wall right there, okay?
You lift up your front leg, you're kind of turning on your right leg.
You're kind of loading that thing, need to shoulder back.
And then you need to, obviously, put your foot back down because you don't need to actually lift the floor.
But it needs to be able to be lift up without your phone.
We need to bounce on that back one.
And then whenever you got through, you need you throw that balance ball.
Bain, get you ready in the slot because you're right there with the brick.
Then you need to throw that balance while buying right to the hips of somebody that is about nine, 10 feet away.
Okay.
Wow, that's a far throw.
And I'll tell you, wearing a tank top, at said dinner, come outside, had no idea there was going to be golf lessons.
They had this thing set up pretty well.
I fucking want to hit and just, I was like, you can teach me on the golf right now?
He said, absolutely.
I said, I would.
Show me.
I would like to learn how to golf.
Try to give me some putting lessons.
Do you say, sir, I'm good on that?
I don't need those right now.
You have the internet?
Sir, do you have Spider X2?
50, about 1,000.
That bitch.
He said, yeah.
Well, he didn't have it with him, actually.
Roars did, right?
That's what we're...
Yeah, it's probably eight of the last nine winners.
Yeah, the last nine winners, probably...
Is that that one right there? Is that what that is?
Spider-X-250-plus premium.
I did use one of these at the Berkman's thing.
Not as much success.
Wouldn't you say?
Well, that's different.
It wasn't yours.
It's not yours.
Probably a different lane.
I wonder why...
Next, if I, if I...
ever get invited again, I'm bringing my putter.
Yeah, you should.
Yeah, you should.
Bring your clothes.
Most patrons do it.
Bring your whole bag and get some metal tip
spikes to wear, yeah.
God, see, somebody's going to write that I said that.
And that's going to be a whole thing.
It's like, I clearly am joking.
I know you walk through metal detectors in there because I thought
to myself, I can get my phone in here.
You see, fucking Mark Calcaveccia,
who's a major champion.
They walked in, they're like, yeah, get the fuck
out of here, pal. We don't care.
Yeah, that's a crazy thing.
Yeah, they'll get anybody out.
Yeah, I saw that going in.
And there ain't no...
I don't care.
You know, there's no fuckery.
You're looking around.
I mean, patron just immediately to Foxy, in the paint.
Self-policed a lot of room.
That's important.
I mean, Foxy was...
You should have seen this guy.
We're talking about...
Made yourself at home, Foxy, or what?
Yeah, I had to do it.
I had to feel the grounds.
I had to feel like a player.
I had to feel like I was playing Augusta.
You never know.
I may never go back again.
I might not win the lottery like Schecty was talking about.
I don't just get invited to these things.
Okay guys.
See, he was holding hands with his wife, this gentleman.
Yeah, he was mad.
Only frown I seen all day.
It's because fucking Yankee Foxy came to town.
Unbelievable.
Walking all over the grounds.
You don't deserve it, fuck boy.
He's basically what this guy said.
Bossy.
Probably yelling meat and potatoes and stuff after drives.
Oh, that's a whole other thing.
Bash potato.
I'll tell you what.
I was in hell.
I was in hell.
I don't know what's right to say
never really done a golf tournament
before let alone doing fucking Augusta
I'm four feet away from
Scotty Sheffler right now
okay
you say hi
I did a couple go on Scotty
yeah yeah that's good
couple of those couple of those
got a baby Scotty
but there were some moments where it was like
kind of quiet
no actions happening
we're waiting on the leaderboard to change
they just finished the hole
they're walking right by us right here
there's like some chatter it's like
Oh my God.
Just potential to like 10 guys.
I was like, this isn't about you.
Shut the fuck up.
Now is not the time.
And I just fucking kept the hat on fucking sunglasses.
Let's go ahead.
And let's just not say a fucking tag.
A couple of those.
But boy, there was just so many moments where it was like,
it would definitely pop.
This would be a great pop.
Got a good feel for the lads that I'm around right now.
It was a great group we were around.
We were with these people for like a fucking hour with no phones.
It's amazing how you can,
have to be forced to community, you know?
In this community, all loved what we were watching.
It was having a good time.
Obviously, everybody trying not to get in each other's way.
You just set your chairs.
Other people allowed to use your chairs.
But then when you come back, it's your chair.
I love that.
Love that.
Norfolk Southern Train Company.
Okay.
Nice.
Good.
Mr. George.
Legend.
Legend.
Told him I was about to buy a train in 2020.
Mm-hmm.
We're so close.
Yeah.
It got very close.
That was a nice trip down memory lane
A train guy
He had no idea that was coming
We had a train guy
Yeah
Yeah Kevin
Who was his name?
I think it was Kevin
I think it was Kevin I'm like 90% sure
It was Kevin
Yeah I couldn't remember what his name was
I said but I talked multiple times
To a guy who has his own personal trains
And I was going to buy a train during COVID
And we were going to remember do a show
We're going to get multiple trains
Or whatever those little fuckers are called
The train cars
We're going to get multiple cars
We're going to have one that was going to be a studio one
We're going to have one that was going to open up like a stage
And then we're all going to have our own
individual kind of
rooms. This is during COVID.
Sounds going to fly. Yeah. Dude.
Yeah. It was. It was a great idea.
Still want to do it. Yeah.
We know the people now.
We know the people now. Okay. Northfolk Southern, the George family. We were very
thankful for them. Ran into them.
And he shook a great group.
Had a couple young lads who were taller. A guy who played football at
Elon maybe. I think he played football at Elon with
Cignetti. When Cigetti was there, he played at Elon.
And then there was another guy. And then I think the daughter was there in
the wife was there, Lisa.
Oh, fuck, sorry of me.
Dave George, Rick George, I forget the name.
He's that, whatever the case is.
Two lads come up, shake hand, family comes,
dad looks cool.
Fuck in, okay?
And then I ask, like, do you guys come here?
Are you fans or whatever?
They're like, we're with our dad's company or whatever.
And I was like, what's the company?
They say Norfolk Southern.
I thought that was like maybe booze.
Sure.
You know, like a Boone, booze kind of sale or whatever.
And they're like, train company.
And I was like, fuck yeah.
That guy walked over.
Shook his hand.
Nice to meet you, sir.
almost bought a train 2020.
Let's talk about it.
Went through an entire thing.
I said, man, I didn't know it took 10 hours
to get from Indiana to fucking Illinois, though.
They were like, yeah, it's a long,
you've got to make a long road or track, I guess,
to a lot of different places.
That would have been a good time.
That's how we were going to beat COVID.
That's how we thought we were going to beat COVID.
Turns out because Indiana laws,
we had to stay six feet away from each other,
and we were able to do it just in a studio.
We didn't have to get to train.
Did I have getting a hot sports talk?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's because it's Maccafee and Huxboys.
Yeah, right at the jump, right when COVID popped off.
Oh, yeah.
That was a nice trip down memory lane, man.
I completely forgot about the train fucking purchase.
Oh, yeah.
We're so close to sign on the train.
This close.
I do remember you talking about it.
I didn't know to the extent that the train that has a stage that opens up,
the studio one, and then the personal, like, that's a traveling circus pretty much.
Bingo.
That was actually over the conversation, Ringley.
The Ringley, I think they actually used to do that as something.
It was, I was one more day.
of blindly, yeah, I'm doing it away from buying all this thing.
One more, if it would have lasted one more day, I would have done.
I think Wi-Fi was an issue.
Yeah, and also-
Pre-Star link.
Right more.
The areas in which the stations were, I think, we're also at saying.
That was the biggest thing.
If we wanted to get from basically Indiana to Florida,
we would have to stop in four different places to get there,
and it would take them.
Like four days, five days.
It would have been a, but on that note, from my understanding,
Norfolk Southern does have a phenomenal train with incredible shut up.
They got a dining room one with like an open windows.
Glass ceilings.
Yeah.
Stars and everything like that.
They got like other ones that are like lobbies, like food serving.
They're ballrooms.
Yeah, they trains.
They turn into like actual mobile homes.
And I think they had a party one night that we got invited to on the train.
I don't know how we would have ever got there.
But it would have been sick to go see what they're partied on the train.
Yeah, it would have been awesome.
Just go to the nearest train stop.
Then they find you.
And do I do this one here?
Yeah.
You ring a horn or a bell or something.
And the party's over and you're four hours from home?
No, it takes you home.
No, you're actually by foot or car probably 20 minutes from home.
Train four hours.
That was what we learned in 2020.
But that was a great family.
I mean, we talked to them a lot.
They offered up their seats to us.
Good people.
They had great seats, too.
They got there early, allegedly.
We could never find their seats because we couldn't find them whenever we were trying to get to their seats.
Sure.
And we didn't want to act like we were part of the train company.
But people just walk up to people tap them on the shoulder.
Happened to us.
Taping on the shoulder.
Those are our seats.
Hey, no problem.
Just get up and leave.
Thank you.
That's a great system.
It's great.
It's just a moral code.
Yeah, it just wouldn't work anywhere else.
All that shit wouldn't work anywhere else because everyone would be assholes about it all.
And no one was assholes.
The whole two days we were there.
There was not one person that was an asshole.
You were the asshole.
Yeah, but people kind of get that.
Oh, that guy loves golf.
So he's walking on the phone.
Yeah.
I don't know if anybody thought that.
I was looking at the faces of the people.
I didn't see anybody thinking that.
Yeah, this is a weird one too.
On those walkways we're talking about,
there's so much foot traffic.
Like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people on it the whole time.
But the fairway is still perfectly green and perfectly crisp.
It makes no sense to me.
They had a maintenance crews out there.
They're a big part of the conversation because Friday morning, Friday afternoon.
They're a bunch of dogs.
Got a chance to meet them at T-Bones last night.
They were having their post-masters wrap-up.
It appeared.
The lads were buzzing.
I mean, a strapping group, obviously.
Yeah.
That's a blue-collar bunch,
and the Masters obviously provides so much for down there,
especially for them.
But it's a special time.
Rory winning's awesome.
Yeah, that's crazy.
To your point earlier, D.Butt,
I don't think I really was a fan of Rory McElroy.
Yeah.
He had a lot of heat on him.
I think he didn't mind that he had a lot of heat on him.
Remember in one of those PGA meetings
told somebody sit down and shut up or something like that,
one of the other golfers?
It was like everything coming out was like Rory
was taking a PGA and he's back.
and he is fighting against the evils
of everything else going on in the world.
And then behind the curtains
what was going on with PGA,
you know, I felt like maybe Rory was getting
a little bamboozled about what was going.
You know, it's an interesting thing.
But Rory has never shied away from being healed
or being person that has to say something.
I feel like he probably thinks that
because at a young age, he was crowned
as golf royalty because of how damn good he was so early.
So I think he kind of said,
if not me, then who for a lot of things.
And then obviously his personality and his public persona changes a little bit there in people's eyes.
But him coming and went in back to back with the book that just came out, all the other stuff that was being talked about,
let alone, you know, the last three tournaments and everything he says gets taken in a negative way.
It's like, that's an incredible mental toughness check there at Augusta, Ferroari McElroy.
Yeah, and everybody, obviously, he's been in that fishbow for his entire life.
And regardless, as long as you perform, I've kind of come to find out for me with athletes,
As long as you perform, whether you are a hill, a baby face, an asshole, a nice guy.
I'm probably going to like you.
If you show up in the biggest moments and you, you know, everybody's talking shit at you and all this other stuff is going on,
maybe away from the course or the field or the basketball court, and you show up and you show out in those biggest moments.
I'm going to be a fan.
Obviously, you know, Ryder Cup, we're a team USA, but when he's in these type of tournaments and he's on Masters,
like this was dope to see him get the back-to-back first time since Tiger.
get me just getting into the golf a few years ago when the little shit started yeah when tiger got
in trouble a while ago and he got kicked off the game roer was on the game that probably was
the beginning of me not liking him because whoever it was that replaced tiger on that video game
i was probably going to have beef with but uh i loved the what he's seeing and like um like andy said
earlier he it does seem like he he had that what 11 year break between major wins and now it seems
like he may go on another run here and get it's crazy that he's not all right
already kind of unanimously in that top 10.
As a casual, I would think he would be in that top 10 realm.
When you hear people around golf, it's like, oh, he's a couple majors away.
Gotta be with the career grand slam, though.
What, what, what, what?
How many guys do you but have the career grand slam?
Six now?
Four?
What is it?
I thought it was four.
I could be wrong.
I like that question.
I don't have an answer to.
Six.
Four.
That's wild.
Scotty hadn't even done that yet, right?
Scottie hasn't even done that yet, right?
Scott is from the U.S. Open, isn't he?
British.
Like, Scotty Dick didn't even play well.
British.
What is it?
and it's just another ho-hum second for Scotty.
That's the thing with Scotty is.
That is the history is due in a weekend, right?
But bogey-free weekend?
Yeah, 56 holes.
Like, 1940.
That's why those people who are pissed off about, like,
McElroyd playing a bunch leading up to it,
is he the first guy to ever do that?
No.
Like, why wouldn't, yeah?
So,
Tiger used to Tiger did all the time.
Why would they be pissed?
And also, if you're Scotty and the other guys,
why aren't you doing that?
Like, why aren't you going to the Masters
instead of, you know,
playing in the Valero, Texas Open?
whatever and just going there
and getting in 10 rounds.
Yeah, they're showing up for the fans.
Scott, he just had a kid too,
so that might be. He normally. Yeah, but
normally, I mean, if you have one, like that makes
a lot of sense that, hey, make sure
I go win this thing again. Just
a terrible question.
Awful. Is what he said?
Yeah, that was incredible. He's got
a newborn at home too.
Yeah. He's just
Okay. You shot a 65.
What should it have been, you think?
Here he is.
Here he is with his presser after Saturday.
He was 65 today.
What did it feel like it could have or should have been?
That's just a terrible question.
Awful.
What enabled you to go low today?
Marty, as soon as fall off.
Hey, what enabled you to go on today?
Hey, that's what it should have been.
You did good today.
That boy, Marty.
Yeah.
That was a fucking awful question.
Scotty, what do you think?
Yeah, you want real low today.
We should talk about that, I think, is what you were saying there.
Yeah.
Yeah, framing terrible.
Just awful.
And then him after saying, I wish I would have had a better start coming in the weekend.
Like, Scotty, we've said this here for the last, like, year or so, I guess.
So it's not like breaking news.
But he's becoming a lot more comfortable being who he is.
Yeah.
Knowing exactly who the fuck he is.
That is great for us.
I agree, AJ.
Yeah.
And I think Scotty's even committed to play this coming weekend in whatever events coming up.
RBC, I believe.
Yeah.
They are, yeah, in Hilton Head, right up the road from Augusta.
Man.
This guy, I mean, Scotty's going to, is Scotty going to, okay, who's getting more majors?
Scotty or, uh, or, uh, Roar.
Scottie?
What's Scotty?
I know.
I mean, Scotty's, what, seven years younger than Rory?
Scottie's got four, I believe.
Four.
Scottie.
Roy is we're on a run here.
I think so, too.
If Scottie shoots even on Saturday, or I mean on Friday, wins, you know, like he, he had that
one bet, like he, he was unbelievable all weekend.
it kind of goes back to what we've been saying about him.
Put on 17. Yeah, exactly.
Like he was that close.
I know you have, yeah, like this close from a playoff hole and you're telling me if they
go to a playoff will after Lori Bogies 18 that he doesn't win like, oh.
I'll tell you what.
Those greens though, they kind of let you know who's going to win the Masters.
That place will choose the champion on it.
That's right.
So that sideways put Rory hit from it like that was.
And the chip he had on 16.
That was
He did that 25 times
sitting out to the freaking tournament
Fucking bullshit
What's your problem?
There it is
Whatever man
Yeah this put was crazy
That's pretty good
This was a tiger
Kim
Yeah
Had a sweet pitch up into that
Like a pitch up into the hill
That didn't think about
And he came right back down
To like two or three feet
Super heat here too
Everybody knows what's happened
What is happening
And what could happen
Right leaderboard right in this area
You could see it
There's a lot of action
around here. Rory understood completely
what the moment was. To have that much
touch and move it that close is just absolutely
absurd. And you're saying on TV, it still
doesn't do these greens justice. No.
They're fucking, I mean... Not even
close. It makes no sound. It was my number
one takeaway, by far and away. The greens,
the fairways, everything. I mean, there's guys,
you're shooting straight up into the air. It's
it was insane. You're hiking.
You are hiking and hiking out there.
Another takeaway I would have is how fast
the golfers walk from hole to hole,
from shot to shot, all that stuff.
I mean, they don't take much time at all.
They line it up, they hit, and then Rory was speedwalking down that fairway,
next shot, and they just keep it moving.
We were walking alongside Roar.
Oh, yeah.
For Whole 11?
Yeah.
Hole 11, we were walking at the same pace as him outside the ropes.
He's like 15 yards probably to our left, walking at the same clip, you know?
Yeah.
Let's go, Roar!
A couple of those are doing it.
Pat actually said, he's like, I could see how guys would be so frustrated if you have a slow guy in your group.
I mean, that would take away your entire.
mojo. Yeah, because they move. They move. We're hitting
and moving. And it felt like everything at Augusta was
quick. Long line for the merch,
you're moving, we're moving, we're moving, we're moving.
Food, beers, we're moving, we're moving, we're moving.
Golfers, we're moving, we're moving. It really did feel like
that was the case. Roy McElroy, he's an investor
in Whoop. He wears one of the company's wristbands while playing and allows the
brand of shares. Data periodically says Joe Palmpliano.
Here's some of his master's highlight, 24,000 steps on Sunday.
91,000 during the tournament. And he's obviously walking
A to B a lot more than the fans of the patrons are.
Roy's heart rate spiked to 135
during his T-shot on 18.
Dropped to 121 during his approach shot.
Failed further to 105 for the winning putt,
and then jump back up to 150 during his celebration.
He started crying a little bit before the tap-in.
Kind of see the moment.
I would like to know what it was in that bunker.
Heart rate?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Probably low.
I was going to say, based on what Andy North said.
He just chunks it out of there.
He just got a hill behind him.
It knows exactly where he was.
He actually probably aimed for that area anyways.
That's basically what Andy North was saying.
Out of all the bunkers, he was in the right one.
That's funny you mentioned that thing about guys being slow, too,
because that's what a lot of people were saying about Scotty's.
He played with Hal Tong Lee yesterday, and he shot an 80.
So it's like he's waiting a lot longer.
You know, like that hole where he's way the hell over there.
It's like you kind of just got to deal with your playing partner
just being absolutely hammered dog shit.
Well, you're trying to go still win the tournament.
like I would imagine that is a pretty pretty tough situation to be in as well
yeah just waiting looking mosing and also not getting a lot of looks you know from your partner
yeah no fuck is this guy yeah i'll tell you what lee he had a tough day
good week overall obviously gets into the position that he was in and then just kind of falls over himself
there's hey man yeah look at them both there already checking their pot after
yeah i think it was there when and scott he goes this fucking guy are you kidding me
it's in the water okay go drop it i'll wait and let me go to the other
side of the green and look at the you know the the stint meter it was crazy how intense they were
reading the green like you could sense the intense when we're sitting at six and we're very close
it was like watching scotty like like he'd never played the green before and the whole location
was brutal disgusting i mean anything after was immediately off yeah anything before was back down in
the front so you had to hit it like a probably a two yard probably two yard landing area for it to
stay up on the green up on the top shelf or whatever.
Rose did it, I think. I think Rose put one up there.
Yeah, Rose was up there. Somebody made a birdie up there while we were there.
A place putting pretty crazy, I think.
Maybe Henley was it?
Sam Burns has that a crazy. Sam Burns is awesome to watch.
He's liked. Cam Young very well liked.
Yeah, Cam on that hole was awesome to watch because he was all the way on the other side.
He had a really long putt. So he paced that thing out like three or four times just to get the right distance on it.
And he had a great putt and a part in that.
Yeah, the intensity in which they break down what the put's about to be.
as if it was the first time they've ever putted before.
Was something that I'm going to try to take it in my game,
but inevitably we'll say,
I don't fucking know anyway,
and then just hit the thing.
Didn't see any much,
do you see much chatter between the golfers at all?
Because I know Cam Young came out after he was like,
yeah, Roy didn't say, you know, word to me.
Really?
I thought I saw Rory do a head nod of, like,
support after the six puck.
I feel like they always say, like,
their Thursday, Friday groups,
they'll talk a little bit more,
but once it gets into Saturday, Sunday,
it gets pretty quiet.
I thought there was an acknowledgement.
There was.
A par three.
It was the part three.
Rory hits a filthy shot set up for a birdie putt,
and then Cam Young matched him.
And then while they were walking,
Rory, like, turned around and gave him a thumbs up.
Okay, so that happened on TV, you're saying, right?
Yeah.
Okay, so on six, after Cam Young puts that thing close,
I think Rory also gave him, like,
it was like a very much, like, a great shot.
So I was actually impressed that he gave him.
My takeaway was, wow, there is like a, it is like a, hey, that was fucking.
And so also, Rory hit it over the green, but he was off and he hit first.
Cam Young's ball was on.
Normally, if you're...
Yeah, they had to have a conversation.
Yeah, it was a full combo.
Yeah, I thought it was pretty good little...
That was a big thing on the 18th, because Rory goes all the way right.
Cam Young goes all the way left.
They showed on the TV.
They were trying to, like, communicate.
Like, Cam Young was pointing at him, pointing them pointing at himself.
And then Rory was like, no, fuck it, I'm just going.
So they had that at six as well.
Okay.
They had the same thing.
So, I mean, obviously they're not talking.
It's a fucking, they were all very intense, I will say.
Very.
That was a...
Own world.
That was like a very...
Not a lot of talking.
Yeah, it wasn't like a super chatty operator.
There's no music point either.
They didn't have any song.
I don't know any music?
Well, that's the thing about the Greens, too.
Like, Cam Young, he just won the players when we had him on,
and he was so good with his putter the entire time.
Like, it was like, this guy sees it better than everyone.
And then on the master's, he's missing most of his putts.
He missed all right.
Right in front of us, I think, right?
Didn't he missed the...
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, he missed. After doing a long putt to close, he missed that.
And then he bogied or whatever, so to Rory.
And it was...
We watched him hit under a tree, basically.
He was under a tree.
We walked up there to get really close.
And actually the people had to say, hey, step back, step back, step back.
And then he had the lane to get out of there.
Yeah, shout to Tim, I do believe, Georgia Southern grader Brian, one of the other.
They're working the...
Scalories, man.
It was one shot.
It may have been 17 or 18.
Rory was taken.
He, you know, he told the crowd a move.
And, like, the final shot, as he's taking.
Like you see just the gallery just like 18.
On 18.
Yeah, I'm like, I'm just looking like the trust.
And like it was like obviously no doubt that he was going to hit the ball correctly and go over.
But they're all just like.
Yeah, we're one of them.
We were in that situation.
Even the T-box.
Even the T-box.
It was either 18 or 17.
And you can, you're watching it whether T and off.
And it is just nuts.
Right here.
Yeah.
This.
18.
Bananas.
That's a very close.
That's a thin tunnel.
It's insane.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The iron shot.
I'm talking about.
They were the next shot.
Yeah, the next one.
He took it out over him.
He curved it out over their head.
He curved it on.
Crazy.
They're into the bunker.
They're all very locked in.
Surprisingly.
There was a little bit of chatter about Rory's outfit.
What about it?
Was it a Sunday?
Yeah, wasn't a lot of it.
Base the community?
Well, I'm not a lot.
It didn't he be a lot.
But he needs some patented thing now on Sunday.
I agree.
He just does.
Foxy said something immediately.
Yeah, so I'm a Rory fan.
I have been.
for a long time. And I looked at his outfit
yesterday and I said, okay. I don't think that's
a winning outfit. And that was after
he went double and
vote there. You know, so Foxy
wasn't the only one though. Foxy wasn't the only one.
No. Chattering this group over here to the left.
I thought he would have wore something a little better
for a master Sunday. Like a couple people
noticing it. And now granted, we don't have
our phones or anything else. So everything
is on the table to be discussed because
we have nothing else to do. You know what I mean?
So that is a part of life there.
but it was made mentioned by multiple people.
I would say, multiple people were like...
How was the fit compared to last year?
I don't know.
You know what?
I didn't have my phone.
I didn't have a chance to check it out.
I will say somebody looked really cool.
Jason Day looked cool.
Oh, yeah.
Great buys.
Kind of been his new thing.
Malbon, Malbon, whatever the brand.
That's your battle on the Teablock.
That's a 9.3 rating.
We already had a good outfit last year.
Is it all white?
No, it was a blue polo with white pants, it looks like.
He was dressed like it was a casual day.
That's his club. That's his home club. That's his home club.
That's kind of how it is.
All right. Let's get the hell out of here.
We'll be back tomorrow.
Good one tomorrow.
Yeah. Great.
Play-in game start for the NBA.
That's right.
Sounds like you forgot about it.
Yeah, you don't care.
Well, that's because you guys mentioned Tony was supposed to give us an update on the WMBA draft tonight because that's kind of what he's more.
Oh, yeah.
WMBA draft tonight.
Obviously, the next generation of WMBA stars who enter the WM.
NBA with the greatest CBA that's ever been negotiated in women's professional league history.
So, congrats to them getting that deal done tonight, the WMBA draft.
Tone, whose odds on favorite to go number one?
And how do we get to this point, you think?
I was just looking to see if there was odds on draft kings so I could get my crown.
It doesn't look like there are that I'm seeing.
That's because it's up for me.
But I would be shocked, thanks for taking my take, that if Aisy didn't go first.
tonight. Do you have a second pick overall
take or just only number
one overall? Just only number one. That's all I care of today.
She's a player.
Lauren Betts is very good.
Lauren Betts U.S. U.S. She draft eligible?
About $1,300.
She needs to go to the fever.
Caitlin Clark needs Lauren Betts
on a team. You have a different... Just signed Sophie
I believe back, and Lexi.
I believe the Indiana fever.
I know Kelsey Mitchell just signed a Supermax.
And Kelsey Mitchell is at 1.4.
So whenever we talk about the fever,
If we were to get bets, let's go crazy.
Let's go crazy here with the United.
Yeah.
Especially with Caitlin Clark being back, right?
She just beat up everybody in the international thing.
Yep.
Just re-signed Sophie Cunningham and Lexi Hall as well.
Yeah, so we're, yeah.
Yeah, the squad's back.
We're ready.
Yeah.
Do you renew your season tickets?
Absolutely.
Every year.
When's it start?
When's opening day?
Tomorrow.
Don't you worry about opening two.
Talk time, man.
It's not called over the day.
We're worried about the draft right.
You're right.
I'm working about the W-NBA draft and then the NFL draft.
You're right.
Masters.
Mm-hmm.
WMBA draft.
WrestleMania.
NFL draft.
It's the same every year.
We're at a great time to be alive.
Let's go.
NBA playoffs.
NBA playoffs.
Holy!
Underrated time.
Almost drop one of those.
I think I did a Lowry.
As his spot was rolling uphill at us,
he almost had a bird,
and it looked like it was about to fall,
and it was literally right to wrecked.
from where I was,
Lauris!
And then it goes off
and then I thought to myself,
oh,
got way too comfortable there.
But I thought he was about to make it like a few.
No,
I think that's perfectly,
except for there.
And then if someone comes up to you and says,
like,
why would you say that?
No,
it was that guy.
Over there.
They're never going to know.
You got me on camera?
I don't think so.
Okay.
Yeah.
No, that was that guy.
He's been a real dickhead
the entire time I've been here.
Saw Dottie Pepper.
Dugote.
She was locked in.
She was locked in front of me
and Foxy both.
We said,
you're a legend.
Big headphones.
Shut up, please.
Yep.
Thought he's been there.
See, Colton notes?
Yeah, he was up in...
He was out there.
He was calling it.
I think he's up in Butler Cabin there, right?
We didn't make it up there.
I don't know.
I don't know where that is.
We didn't even see it.
I couldn't even tell you where that is right now.
After 18, I know that.
It's up around a hill, I wonder?
I've assumed so.
We were there, maybe, but we didn't know we were there.
Fuck.
I have no idea.
Did they show you any underground tunnels I got there?
What are you talking about?
It's well reported.
They have unbelievable, like,
setups with under with the tunnels because they said you'll never see like a maintenance truck driving food out to one of the little shops that's all underground okay so i know that uh there is subair okay the company that it goes underneath a lot of football fields and things of that nature i know they are certainly in the game where it's a hot cold you know melt everything i believe there's numerous uh NFL stadiums that have their technology in there and i think they're only growing got a chance to see them on a way at got a chance to see turf guy from NFL
Oh, they're going to say
Jack.
Me too.
It's that super Jack.
I thought you to say Russ.
Russ Green.
He was not, he was probably there.
I did not run into him, but the NFL turf guy.
We talked about
So our father?
The 57, the
Thunder Mutha 57.
Oh, it's going on.
Yeah.
Acres got new.
Fuck, I thought I was going to be able to pull the name.
It was a Therma 31?
31, I believe you.
Therma 57.
Like Basker Robbins, 31 flavors.
It's a mix.
Bermuda and
Kentucky
Brumuda
It's going to be beautiful
Kentucky Blue and
Bermuda
and it's got a
Tunger 57
Yeah
What's a
Tohoma 31 Bermuda
There is
Tohoma 31 Bermuda
is what's going
in an acre sure
I believe I met
Buddy who's in
world of trying to figure
out what that is
and you need to know
he is properly jacked
Okay good
And he did take advantage
of being able to buy
everything that was in the
fucking store
I like that
He had six bags
six bags
groceries
store in from the car
to the kitchen type shit he was
doing on the way out and he was
biped up
walking like this and then the
subway guy was with him and he's super
genius this guy. He's got fucking four
bags. These two oxes were
walking out at the very end of this thing. The merch
store is a good racket. Honestly they've just
convinced if you go you have to buy a million
things and you probably don't
but you do anyway and everyone
is in there. It's insane. Shots Chris
run a great store former West Virginia equipment man
In the Rangers in there working.
Shout to him.
He's a Wilkesbara PGA Pro,
work storing the masters down there.
Shouts Chris going to see him again.
And then Miss Amy.
I'll tell you what.
This lady's name was Amy.
Miss Amy.
She was the sales.
She was good.
As soon as I walked into this fucking place.
As soon as I walked in,
Miss Amy, great accent.
She is from Georgia.
Augusta, actually.
Welcome to my yard.
I have no idea how long she's been there.
This Alderman right here is a collector's piece.
you can have this one or there's a brown one right over here
we can easily just ship this wherever you need to go
we'll just give you this tag right here
it's easy no problem I'll look at that thing I don't need a fucking
Ottoman do I assume because there's not a lot
of these Ottomans out there this is a beautiful thing
I'm like fuck it I'll take the Ottoman so your Ottoman's gonna be here
somewhere oh I can't put your beat on an Ottoman
yeah it's all the full leather full size
I mean it's green obviously there a master's logo
yeah oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh sorry
wait it is a racket out there Miss Amy
Miss Amy comes turns to corner
she's got two blankets
for your wives.
I can't wait for bones, big fat feet to be up on the ottoman
while he's working.
Bones' feet are never touching the ottoman.
And they're not big and fat.
Remember, they're thin.
That is why I didn't make it to the NFL.
We just need to worry about his head.
Miss Amy was agreed.
He needs to worry about his head, too, a little bit more.
I'm thinking he needs to start thinking about it.
Time to shave it.
Yeah, a couple weeks here.
Here's the ottoman.
This is what's coming to death.
Oh, that's awesome.
Miss A, they led with this thing.
That's a good arm.
That's a great vibe.
Yeah, I've talked about this.
This is Miss Amy.
She was right next to it.
I mean, right next to it.
And she just did a, oh, you'd love this.
That's a one of a kind, brother.
It's not one of it.
Many people bought it.
You've done well.
Many people have bought it.
I think it's pretty good price.
You got that.
And then the blankets obviously got that.
You go over to the hat section.
It's like, oh, I definitely need that hat.
Sweet.
Am I ever going to get this out again?
No, okay.
I'll take that.
And all of a sudden hat.
Okay, I'm never going to wear anything.
Certainly do that.
Which hat did you get the egg salad hat?
the pimento cheese one
I saw someone's egg salad hack it knocked off
on TV. People didn't like that
guy. I don't think I know what you guys are
talking about. They hated this guy. He kept
popping up on the screen. He had a big
green egg salad hat said egg salad and big letters
and he had these goofy glasses
and people
really did not enjoy him.
He was not, he was not supposed to. What he was doing
was unbecoming of Augusta? Yeah, he was like
background of T-box on 15
or 16 and
people really were cooking them on the internet.
Speaking of the goofy glasses, I saw that
guy, you can buy those at the merch store.
Those are master's official glasses.
And the egg salad also probably a hat that you could buy
at the merch store. I did the classic
walking, they're wearing one thing, buy everything.
Complete change of outfit.
Egg salad guy was in the background all day long.
That's good.
Egg salad kind of nosy ins and out sounds like Vigusta.
Not easy to do that because I'll tell you that we were part
of a couple galleries. We couldn't see anything.
We couldn't see anything. We're listening to responses
though and I'm going, oh yeah!
You know, just getting a part of the, and then if something's bad, going, oh, so many of those for me would not knowing what we're doing it through.
So many, it felt great to be out there.
It felt great to be out.
Did you see physio?
And wit.
Which one?
Larry.
Ryan.
Dispatrick.
No.
Because he has those seats.
Yeah.
Any NFL football guys?
Yeah.
It's awesome.
Yeah.
A couple of football guys.
Who?
Come on, man.
Spill it.
Not as many.
I saw Lynn Swan.
That's an NFL football guy.
Holy fuck.
I saw Lynn Swan.
Thank you, Lynn.
I was in the middle of telling him I thank him for his service to Pittsburgh,
and he didn't want to hear it cut me off.
Just started talking about what his day is how it is.
He didn't want me to compliment him at all.
And he cut me off immediately.
I was like, sir, thank you so much for your service to.
He goes, no problem, no problem.
Let me tell you about just right into it.
It was awesome.
good fist bump. He was great.
I saw Terrell Davis.
I saw TD. I told him he looked fat.
You know, because he's like addicted to working out.
I think he's like addicted to working out.
So he comes over to the table.
I go, what's up, man?
Hey, they're saying you're fat, dude.
He said, I'm fat?
Who fucking said that?
Where?
It was incredible.
It was an incredible interaction.
He was, everybody was cool.
Everybody was cool.
Ran in a bunch of good dogs.
Of course.
Roll time.
I would hope.
Was it is still there when you were there?
Did not see.
the Miz. He generated quite a buzz for being there, though.
The Miz. It always does.
Sweet suit.
Sweet suit.
Talking about the TK.O.
Ohio's.
Yeah. TK.O.O.S.
looked good time.
They had binoculars in there.
See, that was the one thing that I think we should have had was Binos.
Needed the Binos.
Because it's hard to see a leaderboard if you're not, right up on it.
And the leaderboard is a massive piece of the entertainment of the evening, the day.
Leaderboard is a character.
that is bringing a lot of news
because there's no TVs anywhere.
Right.
And you don't have fun.
So leaderboard is a huge deal.
But if you can't see litter board,
it's tough, you know,
because they're changing those little boxes.
It's not a 10 or a 12.
He fucking doubled.
Oh, that's literally what the reaction is.
Had fun.
Shout to the Augusta, into the Masters.
And shout out to Ray Gordon, honestly.
Shout out.
Shout out is right.
It's going to be his.
Sorry, you know.
For real.
It already is, though.
It's kind of like, you know, when you test drive something?
Mm-hmm.
That's kind of what's going on right now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We're appreciative of Kelly Rose just kind of letting us test drive this thing.
That is nice you gave it to.
Well, it's actually hit.
It's actually Randy's.
Yeah.
He's already won it 14 times.
So this is basically, you know what I mean?
What this and the other?
So, heavyweight.
So, yeah, it's just test driving.
Mm-hmm.
That's all.
I thought it was down in Augusta.
Couldn't take it on course, obviously.
Sure.
Metal detectors.
This thing got to experience the masters.
It's already living better.
Exactly.
Boom.
This thing's about to be on shore around waste of Randy Orton and Ox who's going to save an entire business.
This thing's living a good life right now, Code.
Don't you worry about it?
That's right.
Keep your eye on that thing.
Me?
Yeah.
I've had my eye on this thing the whole time.
That's why I was on the phone, brother.
Eye on the price.
Okay.
We need to save a business.
Say, Jose, wasn't nice, weren't they?
No, not at all.
Can I expect.
Oh.
Great.
picture. Yeah. I'll tell you, didn't really expect to do that. Just walk out an entire
arena's boony. It feels natural just to be like, you know what, actually? Yeah. All of you.
Go ahead and get it. So, fun night in that shit hole San Jose. Certainly a blast.
25% off. WrestleMania Saturday night tickets currently available now. I think it's, uh,
yeah, I know it's going to be a night that is looked back on forever. Yeah. So I cannot wait
I'm pumped for it and Randy Orton's gonna save a business.
It's gonna become 15 time.
Thank you, Randy.
Thank you, Randy.
Thank you, Randy.
Thank you, Randy.
That's good.
You even caught their beat there a little bit.
Couldn't help yourself.
He hears voices in it and they cancel him.
They on me.
You know what they're saying?
Fifteen.
Fifteen.
Save the biz, too.
Yeah.
Save the business.
Save the business.
How could it was McAfee on the phone?
Because I fucking called him and told him.
That's why.
Yeah.
I want it to be the rock.
You think the rock wants to do anything for you good?
I want it to be Vince McClain.
Vince.
Sorry.
It was me.
It was me.
I'll tell you, I'm having a good time out there starting up,
but I think people should know that
in the long run,
whenever people look back on this entire thing,
we're going to say, thank you, Randy.
And I think there's going to be a
good on path for doing that for the business.
McAfee was right.
Yeah.
And I'm thankful for that.
And that's what's all about.
That's what's all about.
This what's all about.
I don't call you.
Hey, Kadi. Hey, come on.
Keep coming.
Yeah, right.
She's so simple.
Yeah.
It's such a simple game.
It is such a simple.
Oh, yeah, Randy.
Yep, yep, yep.
European upperc.
Another one.
Let's give him an old one.
Yeah, let's go ahead and do that.
I mean, let's have a good time out here.
Let's go to make sure he knows.
Yeah, yeah, all right.
Give him a big winner.
Bang.
Bang.
Yeah.
Oh, you want me to give you one?
Okay, shot.
How about we go?
Crow hop in it.
Yep, give me that.
Oh, I get a good shot that I got right there.
Just know he buckles down.
That's from my punch.
What was that outsider doing there?
Yeah, listen, we love jelly normally, but he's just not supposed to be putting his nose in this business.
No.
He's an outsider.
Clear his day.
You slap me around a little bit.
I was going to, you know, that.
Oh, shit.
What was he going to do?
Now, granted, I told him it would be a bad idea.
Yeah.
Good physical.
Oh, man.
Randy Orton is a rhyme.
You know what I'm a pump kick the shit out of this guy, actually.
He's what Randy said, yo, you thought you had us?
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
It was at this moment where I was a little bit, oh, no.
Okay.
Something might pop off here a little bit.
Is Randy Norton?
control? Cody Rhodes, how's that work?
I don't know what's going on here. Why is my guy getting beat up? I'm thinking
myself while I'm standing in ring. Well, I need to do something
obviously. What's the right time? I was telling you
go punch a pet! Now it's the right to bang!
Bang! You know, I was there. It rolls like a dumb
ass. Yeah, shouldn't have done that.
No way. And we
boom! Thank you.
Dead. It was all playing.
All of it. Just
right to WrestleMania Saturday night.
That's right.
One of the most monumental, pivotal evenings in the history of this
WrestleMania Saturday night.
Come see us, Las Vegas.
Five years from now, 10 years from now, you're going to look back and say,
I remember what?
That's that.
We're excited for it strictly because when the documentaries come out,
it's going to pay its respect to what's going on here with Randy Orden.
And that's what's all about.
love of
the bird's
let's get the hell out of here
we appreciate you AJ
appreciate you guys
you got Randy
you like Randy
come on now of course I got to tell you what
if Cody he was really telegraping
his punches there if he does that Saturday night
he's going to be here for a long night
that's what we've been saying this whole time
it's like Randy right hand
one of the most lethal in history of
the business
okay
he kind of is
the
It's actually his family's business.
Yeah, so there's just a lot of listening to this whole thing.
And I would like to be clear, I actually respect kind of Cody as a sports entertainer.
Sure, sure.
It's just, yeah, right.
Yeah.
You know?
Like, what are we talking about?
Yeah, right.
Randy Orton, dude.
This is Randy Orton.
Hey, good.
He's a good wrestler.
He is.
Yeah.
I got a good little wrestler
Isn't he?
Yeah.
Randy Orton is the greatest.
Okay?
That's just what I've been trying to say here.
WrestleMania season.
Let's enjoy it.
Shout out to Randall.
Shout up.
Love you, Randy.
What does middle name?
What does middle name?
Diper.
K.
Kill.
That's right.
That's right.
Be a friend,
tell of friends.
How nice of my change your life.
We're listening together.
Team on me.
Appreciate you all, guys.
We still hoist an accounting.
Pittsburgh? Yeah, yeah, we are. Are we the best team in baseball?
No, not the best, but close.
Pittsburgh Pirates are going to win at all.
Dodgers still exist, but they're cheating, so kind of.
I don't think you're cheating. They're spending a lot more money than the Pittsburgh
Pirates. Yeah, and everyone.
They're not paying them for 20 years, but yeah, but the Bucco's were still in us.
Kind of like they're practicing that a major golf course when no one else can.
Just kidding. That's just kidding.
Be your friend. Tell your friends, have nice. My change your life. We're
all together. We'll see you tomorrow.
the greatest thank you for having us.
Got a baby in the back.
We even got a super suit over there with his fist up.
Nice.
Good to see you.
Concafa, general manager.
Oh, wow.
Nice.
That's coming out.
The year.
It's coming up.
Is it?
Can't wait to watch.
No, they can't.
I don't know.
Be your friend, tell other friends something.
Watch, I can't do.
I can't commit to that again.
That's too much time.
World Cup same time.
So,
that's a kid coming.
Yeah, which was another scary thing for this weekend.
Yeah.
Actually, like, hey,
what is code what is
that's Augusta
yeah you're the first ever
we saw a lady try to sneak into a golf cart
because she was tired at the bottom of veil
they're like we're gonna need you to get over to a medical
kicker and then at the medical tent
they're gonna give a full test
you're gonna have to pass the test obviously
to warrant a golf cart
this is not just like an immediate happening right now
situation so take a little bit
can't have rascal scooters all around this way
that's the business of a gun
shoot in the head and throw you in race creek
or bury you in the tunnel
how you work here now
and live here not we didn't see any of that but we did see a lady go all right i'll walk
she just walked so it works they got to figure it out down there yeah i hope she's still alive
they're not doing any follow-ups be your friend tell her i assume she is maybe she had good moxie
trying to get a cart there you go when you're dying in the bottom of it and there's only one way
out and it's straight up this hill or straight up this hill it does bring in a little bit of uh
figure out fight or flight here we go strap in there's that's that's that's
the masters. We should go grab a beer. They stopped selling.
All right. It's going to spit dirt up this thing. Water fountain. Five times I'd say I did.
Like I was old school. Back in high school. Yeah. Nice. Just because it was available.
Love high school that person. Loved it. Every time. Saw a water fountain. I go, ooh,
waterfow. I actually said that out loud. Yes. That was incredible. It was perfectly timed and
place. It was a trip back in time. As we see,
today's Tiger? Rory McElroy.
Maybe. Be a friend, tell a friend something nice. It might change your life.
We're just thing together. We're back tomorrow. Team on me.
Team on three. One, two, three.
Goodbye.
