Hello, beautiful people, and welcome to the SB's Lounge here in beautiful New York City.
On this SBZ, July 14th, this program starts now.
Sports!
All right, the absolute greatest thing, and we're celebrating all of that here in beautiful New York City.
We're so incredibly lucky and thankful to be here.
They have shut down the lounge for us to be here.
Now, there's about 30 people that are being told what they need to do in this lounge over the next two days,
is all the stars from both the sports world,
pop culture, Hollywood,
music come through here.
And we've just kind of invaded it completely.
We've taken over half this place. There's certainly people that are not
going to be happy about this. The guy that runs the SBs
hates our show. But we are very, very thankful
to be here, and we are very thankful for the hospitality.
This is beautiful. There's a Hummer
EV set up over here. I don't know if somebody's
going to walk in here and buy themselves an electric Hummer,
but there's a chance, I guess, that could happen.
As somebody who owns one, because I wanted to save the world
with my electric vehicles, I'd say, you guys,
do a really good job. The top, though, the four glass, the window, the glass tops, really, really
cool, except for like when there's no clouds in the sky. Sure. And also when it rains.
Okay. Ah. But other than that, most convenient car I've ever had in my life, and it looks sweet.
You've had it for a while, though. Long time. I've had one of you guys for four years now.
Yeah. Five years ago. Well, the mines are one thing, but yeah, sure. In a way. No, but I plug it in at night.
Yep. Go to work. I thank these people.
I've never seen any of those. I've never seen any of those minds.
I've heard about those. I don't love that.
Jake Paul is right here. I had no idea. That was going to be the case. Shout out to W.
You know, you want to get a dub. You spray. Dub. You smell better.
There's a bar right here that will be touched because we were in an Irish pub until about 4 a.m. this morning.
Because traveling over here, celebrating the home run derby last night.
What? How could you not go around the corner? Especially when Bruce Brown's back in town.
Hey, Bruce. Way to go, Bruce.
Back in the New York room.
with Thomas Tuchel.
Yeah, Bruce still boozed up.
Bruce really put on a show last night.
I think he let the entire city know he was back.
Gumpy, do we have that video of him exiting
the bar last night? Foxy, do you have that?
This happened at about 345 this morning
in New York City, just so you guys know what we're
dealing with here.
Yeah, okay.
So that is how we got here.
Welcome to my city.
Yeah, that was about eight hours ago, so we are going to try.
Hey, Bruce, yeah, I'm back.
Yeah.
Wood chips, good chips, friendships,
whatever.
Yeah, red chips, blue chips, old chips, new chips, no chips like friendships, pal.
Did you bust it out last?
No, he just tried to, he just butchered it right there.
He did a fantastic job.
It's been amazing.
Yesterday, home run derby was obviously spectacular.
Jet Passons more like Jet Pass hole for what he said about what that
derby was going to be.
He said he didn't think it was going to be good.
A lot of people thought the 20 swings was going to take forever.
We do not know what the Netflix broadcast was.
We watched the Honnold broadcast.
we could probably guess what it was like.
We read what it was like online.
They're going to, obviously, just getting into something,
they're going to learn their shit.
They're going to learn their thing.
Being there live in person,
Barry Bond said it afterwards to Jordan.
Jordan Walker will be joining us in about 12 minutes or so
out of the St. Louis Cardinals.
What a fantastic story.
His year salary, $799,000.
He wins a million dollars last night.
And immediately after hitting six straight home runs in Philadelphia,
two beached Schwarbo.
He actually goes like this and then celebrates.
It was very clear.
When I was high school kicking, learning how to kick a football, they always tell you, like, put yourselves in situations in your mind, whenever you kick.
So I would always put myself in a money mindset.
Like, hey, if I make this kick, somebody's going to give me a million bucks.
Hey, if I make this kick, I'm going to get a million bucks.
Last night, he literally walked into that place and said, hey, if I can get more home runs than everybody here, I can get a million bucks right now, which means more to him than anybody else that was in that field.
Swarbo's got like $400 million in career earnings or something like that.
obviously Bryce Harper, just his marketing deal is obviously worth more than that.
24-year-old dude out of Georgia steps up in a big moment in Philadelphia and does what he does,
especially to end that thing with the magenta ball.
We hadn't seen that all night.
Nobody had gotten hot with the magenta balls.
We've been watching that.
We've been hoping for that.
Magenta balls, if you ask the pitchers who got to feel those balls, is just what Mizorowski's exactly where.
These are juiced balls.
We never want to touch these.
Skeen's goes every once in a while, just by happenstance,
There will come a run of games where this is what the ball feels like.
And that's whenever everybody starts saying the balls are juice, the balls are juice.
But MLB says the balls aren't juice.
This is just how they get made.
The Magenta balls were made to be.
They were made to be juiced.
But I think for some reason, either guys couldn't see him well or it wasn't coming out as well.
So nobody got hot with the magenta ball, which I think was the goal of the Magenta ball,
until he had six straight to win the entire thing in Schwabot's home.
You're talking about just cinema.
Last night was awesome.
The weather was perfect.
So the lads were per-like, we got a chance to talk to a lot of people.
We got a chance to chit-chat with a lot of legends.
It was, we are very thankful for MLB for the hospitality and their contributions.
But also, the home run derby is still an event that is awesome.
You know, like we've lost a lot of things in this sports world that are celebrating the greats and like celebrating a sport.
We all know the Pro Bowl has become ass.
We know.
I don't know how you fix it, to be honest.
Because I, if I was playing a real position and if I was still playing and they said,
hey, you need to go out there and, like, tackle each other after a season's over.
I would tell everybody to go eat shit, too, if I was a pro-baller,
which is what we've gotten to at this standpoint.
So they're trying to figure it out with flag football and obstacle course and shit.
The NBA All-Star, obviously, we know what they're doing.
NHL figured it out with the four nations.
But you got like five guys that got hurt from that.
So who knows how long that's going to continue to go.
I think the hockey players will continue to do it.
The fact that the baseball players love this event and still want to show up for baseball,
I think is a big deal.
And the fact that he's 24 years old and has already won means we got another 10 years of him in his home run derby.
and after seeing him in person and getting a chance of fist bump him,
he is a Goliath.
This guy is a absolute monster,
and he's also one of the fastest players under Cardinals.
I guess he's become the first 30-30 guy that they've had in a long time
are going to become the first 30-30 guy in a long time.
He set a load to the world.
We'll talk to him in 15 minutes.
I think his contract's up too, so he's about to get paid.
He really, he did it all that.
That's an amazing story from last night,
amazing event last night.
And shout out to the Philadelphia crowd.
Yeah.
They were booing kids.
They were incredible.
They were booing batterers.
They were.
cheering for everything, I mean, from beginning until the end.
And it wasn't as nearly as long.
No, it was a lot better in person.
I think everybody was scared of.
In person, we've gotten a chance not to go to the last two.
Once again, new to the baseball world, new to baseball coverage, very thankful that we get to do it.
Last year felt long and boring.
Yes.
This year felt awesome.
It did.
And MLB, to their credit, last year felt long and boring.
They made adjustments, and the players, big time players still wanted to be a part of it.
They showed up.
Obviously, all the story, that's Jason Kendall.
Wow.
That's the first time.
That's Jason Kenner.
You with the jersey on, just awesome.
They had no idea he was going to be there.
No idea.
See, on his knee, figured out of nowhere.
I did not know Jason Kendall was 510, 511, okay, but that makes sense.
He was a catcher, die, and he had to do his thing.
He wore no gloves, okay, ever.
Yep.
His hands are, like, ladies and gentlemen.
The callous.
College football, national champion.
Super Bowl champion, Ryder Cup winner,
and a man who just got a sack on the Mizz.
Ladies and gentlemen,
guy who came in top 50 in Tahoe,
A.J. Hawko, how you doing, pal?
We missed you.
I genuinely thought coming out of Tahoe,
you weren't gonna be able to make any of these shows.
Thank you for traveling out here to New York.
Yesterday was spectacular.
The All-Star game is tonight.
MLB still feels like it's special.
Like this still feels like a special week.
And every player we talk to still feels as if it's
honor to get invited. We talked to Schino a lot. Okay, we talked to Scheno a lot yesterday.
It's his second All-Star, and he's still like a child, our third All-Star. He's like a child
out there, you know. Miz, we talked to Ms. Last year he makes his first All-Star game. This is
the second one. He's, they're talking about the conversation that happened in the clubhouse
before this home run derby started as if they're listening to Legends speak and they're like doing
this entire thing. Braxton Ashcraft out of the Pirates. He's a stud football player out of Waco, Texas,
who's now incredible pitcher for the pirates.
He normally, from my understanding, very, he's a football guy.
He's a lot chattie, chatty, chatty.
I guess there's about three hours of silence out of that band in the clubhouse
as all the OGs were kind of giving game to each other.
So I think MLB still treats us as a special thing.
We're lucky to be a part of it.
Wish you would have been there, obviously fresh out of Tahoe.
But I do appreciate the fact that their league still takes it serious,
the celebration of their league.
Absolutely.
I watched the Netflix broadcast.
How was it?
Everybody?
Good. Pool host, Barry Bonds.
I love their insight. Everything they were doing.
El Duncan kind of directing everything.
I thought it was good. I expected to be 10 hours long.
I really did. So the fact that they were able to keep it moving like they were was fun.
People are rarely talking shit on the coverage.
Now, you're going to remember.
It's because there's no Chris Berman saying back back back.
So now on that note, though, I remember when people hated Berman.
I know. That gets an interesting.
Telling how it works. Everyone wants to go back to this whole nostalgia thing, which I don't know.
I love it. The only thing I don't like is why do we have to have brought.
Rice Harper and Schwabo in the same.
Why did one of them have to get eliminated in the first round?
Because Harper wasn't able to hit enough homers.
He didn't hit enough homers.
Yeah, but put them in like different flights, do something so where they can meet up.
They don't do that.
They don't do something.
Did you watch?
Don't lie.
The idea would be that both those guys hit enough homers to advance to the next round.
Yeah, but I mean, Harper got put in a tough spot.
Nine-year NFL vet.
Darius J. Butler was down on the field there.
D. But some of the guys said that maybe you're at a different altitude for a little bit of it.
Really?
You did come down from the rafters.
I think we did enjoy that.
Over 75.
home runs in the first round we hit that
what a night what a time harper got us
over the top uh i enjoy myself
yesterday it was it was a great
welcome back for me for the program
from wire to wire from where we started
to where we ended last night with bruce
leaving the bar whoever left after him it was a great
absolute great run obviously we streamed yesterday
too yeah okay
I got in the chat
I told pat this before
I was like oh man he's going live so pat goes live
the first thing that pops up as soon as you're
I click on it.
You got Kangarview Jr.
standing right behind you guys in the dugout.
It's all the way to dab up Owen Wilson.
He says, I want to come to the football set.
Then Will Ferrell.
And then Luke Wilson's brother.
The whole Wilson family, obviously.
They can do no wrong in my eyes.
He looks like he's 22 years old.
And then Will Ferrell right here.
And you just go down the line the first like five.
Jimmy Taitro as well.
I am so sorry, Jimmy.
I was captivated by Will.
You have to understand what that was.
A lot of people in the comments saying that I kind of left Jimmy
hanging or whatever. I would like let Jimmy
know, legend, trailblazer.
Love everything about him. I was just kind of
caught up in the eye black on Will Farrow and also
wanting to tell him about every movie that really changed my life.
I wanted to tell him semi-pro, watch three
times in the theater. Yep. Okay, I wanted to tell him
that I was the one. Anchorman also
once in the theater did that entire thing.
Yes, I mean, I wanted to just break down everything
that he did was great because a lot of people
were saying as of late, he hasn't made me throwing a fastball
that's good. It's like, how much you want this guy to do?
Go back to like his first 50
movies. And he was like, I'm
39 it was my general it was incredible everybody was so nice to know right what's that was show yeah okay
I hope so because Will Ferrell deserves to have a you know a thing that still goes because there was a couple
misses there's been anytime we're doing comedy yeah anytime we're doing it for that long and the way
will Ferrell does it he's all in yeah yeah yeah so there's opportunity to suck and there's certainly
a couple movies that he's been a part of that have been completely ass and have missed the mark
but what will Ferrell has contributed to my life and I think all
of our lives. I just wanted it in a moment that I didn't know he was going to be there.
And I would like let Jimmy know I got lost in making sure I let Will Ferrell know that he was
appreciative. He wasn't the only though. I mean, Tom Mattingly was there. I got chance to chat with him.
All the legends were out. Cranston. Brian Cranston.
That was pretty cool. That was insane. Who's the writer?
Anita Brunson or Anita Brunson or no, no. Oh, Abbotton Elementary. Yes. Quinta Brunton. Yeah,
she was there. Kyle Lowry.
I mean, so many, Jimmy Rodley.
I'm just saying this for the first time.
Yeah.
Yeah, I didn't see it.
Kristen.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And let's not even talk about, I would like to say, though, Ty, also if Jason can't, I told
him to get in there.
Okay, come on, Jay.
Come on, Jay, need you in here.
Ty, if you make that your profile photo, I'd like to say, there's multiple options.
I don't know if you looked at me.
I zoomed out, zoomed in portrait mode.
You did.
You did.
You hooked it up.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, I try to get profile photos.
Yeah.
Because I do think that is.
He's a beast.
Yeah, he's an absolute monster.
Very cool.
home runs from Bryce Harper to get to 75.
He looked at me. He was like, he's going to hit three.
Then he didn't.
Yeah, he did take a sweet time on it.
And there was like six swings.
He looked back at me and I'm like, yeah, shut up.
It was very apparent.
And this happened at that wedding that I was very lucky to be through the last time I was
here and at that thing.
It's crazy, like the amount of people that we have so much respect for that, like,
know that we exist now.
We're very lucky, very thankful and very appreciative for it all.
ESB's here is tomorrow.
We're very thankful for whoever we get a chance
stop by. This lounge is where everybody checks in.
Dom. Big Dawn.
Tom.
Took care of us.
Don brought me some beers. Asked me if I wanted some chicken
cutlets. You need some cutlets? Some cheese dates?
Literally asked me if I wanted some cutlets.
Of course he did. Like right there? Do you have him with him?
He always does. The first interaction
was so, so Italian.
As I tell you, that quick dab,
dab, quick dab, okay, whatever you need, just let me know.
It was the most Italian.
Yeah, he walks up and I tell him, I go,
you know, because we're streaming.
Okay, I go, hey, he goes, my man.
Okay, he goes, you're the best.
Okay, hope you're good.
And then another guy shows up, and he points at the guy,
and he goes, eh, you guys are the best,
and then walks away.
And it was like the most Italian interaction
that could possibly be.
Dom, I think, is going to be on the program soon.
I was trying to put a little pressure on him
to come on the show.
You know, Dom does what he wants to do.
He is obviously an icon in Philly.
And I know outside of Philadelphia,
the narrative about him is whatever.
We got a chance to experience a little.
he is right there you guys you're best she the best she just did the entire thing right there uh i know
whatever people say about him outside of philly because i don't think any other city has a human
like this guy yeah in philly though we were watching it happen he is exactly what yes everybody
from philly does want to know though who on the program talk shit about beer and i said i don't know
right here that's a toxic table at bosa connor and at tis schmidt down there one half of the hammer
cowboy's ap tone uh tone you hit last night okay yeah
We obviously did the first round over 7.4 and a half.
Shout to Draft Kings for letting us boost that.
Also, plus 120 for that felt great.
That felt like a really good boost.
We appreciate them doing that.
You also immediately yesterday say,
hey, with the way to winds blow in this park,
with the people in here,
485 is the over-under for longest.
Contreras, first guy out the bat had 480, 483, 47, 490.
That was like, we knocked that out immediately.
For the All-Star game, what is there to bet on?
And how should we kind of be viewing that term?
It's really, really hard.
especially because, you know, there's a lot of pitchers who just pitched this weekend,
so they're not available to go now like Schittler.
Schlittler can't go for the Yanke.
What's his name? Shlitler.
We saw him in the elevator last night.
He just called him Schittler.
Better than the other one.
Schlittler almost walked right in the main concourse, by the way.
Nobody's going to talk about that.
Yeah.
He almost just.
Save him.
He was like, where are the buses?
I was like, not this way.
Don't follow us.
He was, everybody's so cool.
Literally everybody's so cool.
But like it's so hard to.
to like know who's going tonight.
Like skeins can't go for the NL tonight,
but Chris Sanchez is going,
who's been an absolute dog.
Dylan Tice is getting the start for the AL.
Like pitching-wise, I lean a little bit to the NL,
but it's hard to bet on tonight.
Ladies and gentlemen,
joining us now is the superstar from last night
that we watch, an absolute dog.
Yeah.
From Georgia.
I'm looking at him right now.
Got a great chain on,
got some nice sunglasses.
He's got a new deal coming,
and he's also got seven figures
because his bat got real.
hot. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm a St. Louis
Cardinals, home run derby champion,
Jordan Walker.
What's going on, guys? What's going on?
Congrats, man. That was awesome to watch.
And I, uh, I let off
with talking about this because we were there.
You were a monster of a man. I mean,
baseball players are so big. I think we forget
about that. Like, Schwabo, 5,10
or whatever. Yeah. Everybody else,
Monster. That was our first time getting to see you live.
You put on a show. Everybody
loved you. And what you did
at the end of that thing, ice cold, bro,
congratulations on that.
Appreciate it, man. Thank you.
And, you know, big conversation now has been your salary versus what you won.
Going into that, and I told the story about me, I was a kicker.
And in high school, and I would put myself in a position of like, all right, if I make this
kick, somebody's going to walk up and give me a million bucks.
If I, like, trying to put a little pressure on myself.
Going into last night, knowing that a million dollars is on the line and that you certainly
have the ability to do that, and I saw you make it rain too immediately afterwards, what
was the thought?
And when you get there and you have to hit like six home runs with only like three swings left,
what is the mindset, what's the mentality?
Can you just take us back to last night in your special night?
Yeah, man.
I mean, it was crazy in all honesty, man.
The stadium's packed.
Everybody's booing, you know what I mean?
But I never doubted myself, being honest with you.
And Schwerver put on an unreal performance.
In all honesty, I think I kind of blacked out there.
For real.
And just took my swings and, you know, did my best.
but it was definitely swore made it tough.
Barry said it was the best home run derby he's ever seen.
I mean, honestly, they had to Barry Bonds-McGuire won from 1996 running back
when it was in Philadelphia, and it was like empty park.
It was in the middle of the day.
What the home run derby has become is an absolute spectacle.
With the new rules, nobody knew what it was going to be.
It's on Netflix.
It's like you were a huge piece of that being a massively successful night.
You should take a lot of pride in that, obviously.
But there's a couple home runs where you wristed them.
It looked like you didn't even hit them clean.
And by the way, I'm going to follow you for the rest of your career, 24.
You need to do that.
Yeah, I cannot wait to watch you play baseball going forward.
But was there a couple that, like, you thought weren't going to go out that got out?
Is there like a couple early where you're like, oh, if that one's going out, this could be a good night?
Like, is there a little bit of that early in the evening where you start feeling good about the way the ball is jumping off the bat?
Or is that every night for you?
And I just need to understand that.
No, no.
You definitely right about the first one.
There was a couple I hit low that I was like, I don't know.
But when they snuck out of there, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like,
Okay, I got a chance, you know what I'm saying?
Let's keep this thing going.
Okay, so everybody talked about the amount of money that you get paid,
and I think your contract's up.
Hey.
Good timing.
Yeah.
Hell of the season right now.
I was going to say, Derby, yes, but it had a pretty good first half, too.
Yeah, and then we looked into your, we looked in a little bit,
and we started asking people at the Cardinals, they're like, yeah,
he's also going to be our first, like, 30-for-30 guy that we've had.
He's, like, the fastest guy we have.
And I'm like, he's, like, 6-40-2.
He's, like, 6-10.
I don't know how this guy is.
So obviously the future are very, very bright.
We talked to Schwabell yesterday.
We talked to Bryce Harper yesterday.
We talked to Schoeno yesterday.
We talked to Ms.
The way you all hold All-Star Week and Home Run Derby I think is special.
I think it's very sweet.
I think a lot of other sports wish they still had that.
For you being a part of the Home Run Derby, now being a home-run Derby champion,
does it feel as if you are carrying on a tradition of baseball of America's pastime whenever you're in it?
Why do you think you baseball players have so much respect for the spectacle that is All-Star Break?
in a home run derby still?
I mean, honestly, for me personally, I mean, I've grown up, live and breathing baseball.
As to my favorite sport, you know, growing up.
My parents talked about how I slept in my bat and my glove.
And I watched a home run derby when I was growing up, too.
I mean, All-Star game, everything like that.
It's been my dream to do it.
So being a part of it, man, it was just special to me, you know?
I mean, I don't know if you can truly explain how much you love the game.
So I'm doing my best right now.
But being a part of that was unreal.
And especially against the great.
and future Hall of Famers, like Harper and Schwerber as well,
so it's super cool for that.
Yeah, it feels like you're on your way to that too as well, brother.
Now, a lot of shit has to happen.
A lot of shit has to happen, obviously.
Baseball is such a failing sport.
Like, you have to fail so much in baseball,
so to become successful, which is crazy.
Talk to the boys about that last night,
just the amount of mental toughness
that I don't have to play that sport.
I strike out in the first inning.
I got to go back a third inning.
I am still pissed.
I am still pissed from that entire thing.
So we can't wait to watch you do your thing.
AJ Hawk has a question for you,
Yeah, Jordan, I'm wondering, like, your prep as far as what you did getting ready for this.
Who did you talk to?
You don't have a whole lot of time, obviously, be in the middle of the season.
And also, I guess, your swagger slash, like, comfortable, you're so comfortable in the box.
They talked about it on the broadcast a bunch, just how comfortable and calm you were.
Was that something that you had a plan going into?
And obviously, you executed it very well.
Most absolutely.
I mean, absolutely.
I mean, I think you have to be.
I mean, Philly is, I mean, they're brutal when you're a way team.
But, you know, they love their teams.
and you know you can't hate that for sure
so I knew it was going to be tough
going into it especially you know up against the guy like Schwerber
so if I wanted to win I had to be calm
and I had the best hype man possible
with my teammates on the sidelines too
so it's been it was unreal
how was afterwards you guys have a terrible time
no it was a pretty good night
as I was almost saying
and Debo has a question for you Jordan
yeah Jordan watching you obviously with those ledges
after talking about you know putting on the best
performance, Barry Bond sent that to your face. Who was some of those players that you watched
growing up that you wanted to model your game after you talked about you eat, breathe and sleep
baseball? So who were some of those players you wanted to be like, God, when you grew up?
So coming out of Atlanta, I was a third baseman coming up, so I wanted to be like chipper
for a while. And then when Hayward debuted, when I was, I remember I was sitting out in left field,
it was unreal with that too. So then I was like, you know, I want to be like him. So those are
two guys I remember just watching growing up when I was a kid.
So, chipper's too white, you didn't want to stick.
I had a feeling going to say something like.
Diggs has a question for you, Jordan.
Yeah, Jordan, like the Cardinal story this year, I'm a Pirates fan, so I follow the NL Central closely.
Like, the Pirates, I know, I know, I know.
Yeah, hey, we're on that ass, Jordan.
But hey, I'm a JJ Weatherhole.
He's a Pittsburgh guy, so I'm following it closely.
Like, well, you guys in the young core, how awesome has that been this season and then going into the second half?
carry that along.
Yeah, I mean, there's a dog, honestly.
I mean, just a dog. He does everything the right way.
Honestly, if you talk about composure, it's him.
So he sets the tone, and, you know, we all get going from there.
Yeah, it's a West Virginia Mountier, Jordan. You know the deal.
Okay, so baseball at this stand stage, I'm not going to ask you about you're 24,
so you shouldn't say anything about the CBA negotiations because, no offense,
you don't know shit about shit at this day.
You said it not me, man.
Yeah.
But also, it's not like you to talk about that.
But we're in such an interesting, like, it feels like pivot point for baseball as a whole.
Seemingly more popular.
Like, I don't know what last night's numbers are going to be, but like everybody wanted to be there.
Yeah.
Building the sold out.
Everybody's tuned in to baseball.
But then the conversation immediately goes to, yeah, the Dodgers, though.
The Dodgers, the Dodgers, the Dodgers, who's going to beat the Dodgers?
How do you guys do that with how long of a season is?
When do you want to get hot?
And like, every team thinks we have enough to win a World Series.
Because, like, Joe Thomas of the Cleveland Browns, he said whenever he went into the Hall of Fame in one of his interviews, he said every season coming out of training camp, I thought we were going to win a Super Bowl.
Like that is what we had.
They went 0 and 16, I think twice while he was there.
He thought they were going to win a Super Bowl.
And I'm not saying you guys are Cleveland Browns, but I'm saying like every sport you have to have an unrelenting optimism about what your team is.
You guys obviously have enough to go.
And that is every team feels that way.
or in baseball, is there some teams that understand the deal
or don't understand the deal?
If that makes sense.
I mean, I would hope so.
Because, I mean, everybody I've met has been unbelievably competitive.
So, I mean, that was our thought coming out of spring training,
and I'm sure that's pretty much every other team's thought coming out of spring training.
I feel like they wouldn't put the team on the field.
They didn't try their best.
Yeah, especially the Cardinals organization, so legendary.
But it does feel like there's a lot of disrespect to a lot of team.
Oh, yeah.
It's like, well, the Dodgers can go.
And it's like, well, who else?
It doesn't matter.
I just watch 20.
Don't sleep on the cars, man.
Yeah, amen.
Well, the Pirates are about to get that ass.
But I just watch a 24-year-old guy
slap a home run.
And they're telling me he's going to have 30 steals as well.
It's like, yeah, they're not.
It's like, well, Dodgers, though.
It's like, okay.
And I would like to get like, I'm thankful for you sharing your opinion on us
because that is how everybody talks about MLB from the outside.
I'm happy to hear that it's like, nah, we're going.
Pirates too last day.
Yeah, we're competitive.
Yeah, everybody, the game season's so long.
Absolutely.
Oh, I don't know how you guys.
Like for you, for the home run derby,
do you change your swing?
Like, are you worried about the swing?
Because isn't that always the conversation for people that do the home run?
Like, are you changing your swing there?
Do you think that affects you going down the road?
Like, how do you kind of deal with that afterwards?
Yeah, honestly, I didn't want to think about it too much.
I wouldn't say changing my swing.
I'd just say I'm trying to catch the ball a little bit more out front.
You know, during the season, I'm usually trying to go center field, you know,
the big part of the field.
But home run derby, you got to hit home run.
So maybe just catch a ball a little more out front and don't change too much.
20 swings.
What was the, was there a, hey, let's just make sure we get a good pitch
or when I get in a groove, I'm going to go,
because obviously we saw you do this one here.
You must have felt good.
How much are you thinking about that?
Yeah, I mean, I want to get a good pitch.
That's the main thing.
But honestly, just try not to get tired.
That's when I get killed.
I mean, I started, you know, I think I hit three, like,
grounders or line drivers in a row.
I got killed.
I was tired, man.
So I just saw that down, and that was really the goal.
I wish you would have called ABS on your guy.
Yeah.
KT was money yesterday
KT was money, he was our guy, yeah.
Yeah, huge deal to be the pitcher that wins.
You have to perform.
I mean, you really have to perform.
Go ahead, Ty.
Yeah, Jordan, we were, you obviously stole the show last night.
We were down on the field, and I didn't see the broadcast,
but I saw afterwards, like, your parents kind of stole the show on the broadcast.
They kept, you know, pan into them after you'd hit a homer,
and they were going nuts with everyone.
How special was it?
Because I feel like that probably isn't that common where someone gets to win the derby
and their parents are there in the crowd watching them be able to do that.
Like how special was that to have your family there for such a massive night?
I mean, really special.
But, you know, I'm used to them being there for me.
They come out whenever they can.
You know, my mom's a high school teacher, so it's tough for her to come out.
But, I mean, and she does.
She shows out.
My grandma shows out.
My dad obviously shows out.
And I love having them, you know, with me every step in the way.
So it was real special.
I can share that moment with them.
Backwards hat.
Ken Griffey walk over with his camera.
Yeah, that's kind of, you know, right.
Did he come over and say, hey, pretty good.
Better fucking win this thing.
Yeah.
The standard was high with him, absolutely.
You look cool, though.
I mean, the backwards hat.
Yeah, very cool.
Do you have chains on, too?
Do we have chains?
Oh, yeah.
A lot of them.
It gives from my family, friends, everything like that.
So, you know, I had to wear it with me.
Do you wear it during games, too?
You got chains on during the game or no.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
It's kind of my way of keeping them with me while I'll play.
All right, we'll send you over some fake.
I'll wear it.
Con may actually, you're a millionaire now
just strictly off of one night, so he's going to have to be something nice.
Go ahead, Conman.
Yeah, Jordan, I also do believe, you know,
especially with how you hit those home runs in left field,
you'd look great in a Boston Red Sox uniform.
So let's keep that in mind.
Let's just keep that in mind.
You have to comment on it.
Just keep that in mind.
But aside from that growing up,
you said you slept with a bat and glove, you know,
loved baseball.
Did you play any other sports?
because, I mean, the guys told me when you walked out to, you know, in and out of the dugout, you know, staying hot,
they're like, this guy's the biggest dude we've ever seen in our life.
Giant.
Yeah.
Did any NFL or, sorry, football or, you know, basketball coaches tell you like, hey.
Soccer?
Yeah, soccer.
Yeah, probably not soccer, but forget baseball.
I did play soccer when I was real little, but it was mainly baseball basketball.
My high school coach, football coach, trying to get me on a team for the longest time.
I was a little caught up with baseball and basketball at the time.
But yeah, if I wasn't a basketball player, I'd for sure try to be a hooper.
You still got a shot or no?
Nah, it's a little broke right now, but we're getting that last soon.
We'll get in the lab soon.
We'll get it right.
Actually, I don't think you need to touch basketball ever, brother.
I feel like you're figuring it out right now.
Congratulations on last night.
MLB has got to be very thankful for your performance last night.
Baseball, obviously, in the same.
And the only person who hated was Schorbo, probably.
Yeah, yeah.
There was a lot of Philadelphia.
No, but I think even Philadelphia, respect that.
walked into their house.
Yeah.
And do that.
You saw some of the fans.
You didn't back like, like, yeah.
This guy.
And I would assume that some of the Johns, just like us, like, that's one of the coldest things I've seen.
Oh, yeah.
Like that is.
Much.
Actually, because that stadium is known to be what?
Ridiculous.
They're Philadelphia fans.
Schwarbo is who they all wanted to win.
Yeah.
Right?
Swarbomb.
Yeah.
We need Swarbo.
Last year he gets into hit off, which almost happened again.
And he had a great round going into it.
Eleven of 15.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
So it's like you stepping into that batters box with all of that locking in and being able to handle your business, special, brother.
I think you got it all right.
I appreciate it, man.
Thank you for joining us.
Enjoy yourself over there.
Appreciate it.
I will.
You know, I will.
I'll see you all.
You're the man.
Ladies and gentlemen, Jordan Walker.
Yeah, Jordan.
July 13, 2025, Jordan Walker played his final game of rehab assignment for AA Springfield Cardinals had a 0.526, you get it.
July 13th, 2006, Jordan Walker won home run derby to cap first half with 22 home run, 74 RBIs, and an 887.
What is that?
That's on base plus slugging.
So, yeah, he was a first round pick, like a cornerstone of what the Cardinals want to do, and he wasn't great last year.
And he is just, this year he has been so, I mean, he made himself last night, obviously he was a big part of it.
But his whole first half the season, like, he's going to make himself a lot of money with the way he's played this year.
Everybody was happy for him.
Yes.
Like every All-Star, not just the Cardinals people.
It was like, obviously everybody appreciated Schwabo put on the show for the people.
Everybody loves Swarba.
I don't think there's anybody that doesn't like Swarbo either.
But it was like watching a 24-year-old in that moment showing up.
And even the first round, he was like, holy shit.
Yeah, it was easy off the bat early.
No doubters.
Even the host, I can't remember his name, but he said that, like, after his first home run,
Jordan Walker's first home run or the first run, he was like, oh, that was easy.
That looked really easy is what he kind of said over the stadium.
Huge, man.
Yeah, massive.
So on the way out,
Fisbumped him.
I mean, it was like a fist fucking table.
That iPad?
It was like, yeah.
It was really,
probably about six,
six.
Should have played quarterback.
How was Moon of Taka,
that day?
We didn't get a chance to talk to Moon shot of Taka,
Morikami.
I don't think he was necessarily as happy.
We were on the other side.
We were on the NL side, yeah.
But I.
He signed with Jordan.
After our show.
Yeah.
Very cool.
Big deal.
Cleats are sweet.
Probably because of the.
I would assume so.
Yeah.
That was good.
That's a favorite.
That was cool.
What a pool.
MJ White Sox fan, right?
Yeah.
Played for him.
Played for him, yeah.
So.
Probably.
This is the most electric human we've seen in a White Sox uniform.
Yeah.
And let's go ahead and put some J's on his feet.
Great hair.
On his hand.
He was, dude, the baseball people,
and I think it's because they live on the road.
Yeah.
And it's a very humbling sport, you know,
because you're going to fail a lot.
They were all so cool.
I mean, all of them.
You name it.
Logan Webb came over, said what's...
I mean, at one point, we had, what, the five best pitchers on Earth
just sitting around us, drinking waters.
Yeah, yeah, right.
Pretty heavily.
And then Dom, big Dom comes over.
You guys need chicken cutlets or...
He keeps a move, and we were treated way too nicely,
but all the baseball players also treated us far too kind.
Thank you so much to MLB for all of that.
Honestly, and Jordan Walker, everybody loved the show he put on last night.
Yeah.
And if you're in...
If you can get to a home,
Derby, I would say you should do it.
Like all the people that were, you know, people are going to complain about everything.
I, when we got out of there, I was expecting to go to the phone and see everybody say,
this sucks or, no.
Oh, other way around.
I thought they were going to say, this was it.
They fixed it.
They figured out what the home run derby is.
Good for them.
The 20 swings.
The guys, what an electric night of sport.
And then I get on there and it's like, yeah, don't show the ball hitting the bat ever.
You know, like, there's a lot of, like, technical things, I think, watching.
that people are like, what are you doing?
But obviously Netflix's first time doing all these things.
Right.
They'll only continue.
We'll assume they'll only continue to get better.
But it did feel like everybody enjoyed what it was.
And I think it's only going to get better going forward as we go ahead here.
I agree.
And we talked about it leading up in, you know, before it started on the show yesterday, like,
the field was great.
And it was the hope was that, hey, hopefully these guys just put on a great show tonight.
And they did.
But that is also one of those things where now after having been there two years in a row,
it is a live event. Like I understand it a lot more. I obviously watched it all the time growing up,
but it's just, it's much different. When you are there live, it's impossible not to have a good time.
Almost every guy put on a show. Like even like Jack Caglione, I think he hit like eight,
but he put one at almost out of the stadium. I'm on the third deck. Like everyone put on a show.
Were you on TV last night? I was on TV. What? Made TV. Wow. Yeah. Right here, I believe. Right here.
Right after this one. The second one he hits. Tone and boys are up there in the surfside
Yeah, I was drinking tall boy surfsets.
I'll tell you, yesterday, there was a pause right there, Foxy.
So down on the lower right corner, that's the other contraris.
Yeah, yes.
Okay.
They're from Venezuela.
They're dogs.
Okay.
They, World Baseballed Classic, eyeballed me, okay?
It immediately started tripped me before World Baseball Classic even starts.
So then Ponchae starts, and it starts going, how it's going?
Contreras brothers, from dugout, looking at me in crowd, talking shit.
So this is my first time getting to see them in real life.
They are an incredible, I mean, the baseball culture.
It's the best.
The lads are awesome.
Walk up to him.
First time, like, seeing him and meeting him in real life.
He just immediately starts going ponche in my face.
Yeah, dude.
That is exactly it.
And then his brother hits another dong.
This guy hit absolute good.
Play, Foxy, hits absolute monsters.
This one hits a guy in the face, and Gumpy and Diggs are standing right behind a guy.
And...
Pause.
Pause.
Right there, Gumpie with the white hat.
Whitehead, keep playing, keep playing it.
Oh, okay.
I turned around.
I said, that guy just got hit the head.
Oh, we missed it.
That guy's face in his time digs on the screen.
And that was the home run that cashed the over for $44.
Yeah, $4.90.
Is that what you're pointing?
I said, that ball guy just got hit right in the head with that ball.
And I do believe Gumpy got that on camera, the guy get hit in face.
Didn't want to post it strictly because guy did get hit directly in the face.
I don't think the guyco gloves gave anybody any problems?
No, they actually looked.
They actually worked out there.
Okay, that's good.
I'm happy to hear that.
Daico's got to figure it out, dude.
Is that mayhem?
I believe so.
Good question.
The fraud.
Is that progressive?
No, it's not progressive.
That's flow.
I think it is a gecko.
Guyco is the gecko.
In the cave, man.
Right?
They were the caveman.
Is it all state?
Allstate's mayhem.
Hey, insurance.
We appreciate you guys.
That's right.
Shout out.
We got it.
Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen,
is the man who knows everybody in this city.
You'll just go there, you know.
You should mute that while you take that off your head right now.
Yeah.
You got to, okay.
Yeah.
Yep.
Smooth.
That was great.
I thought you did a great job right there.
You're pressing the mute.
Yeah, okay.
Is there a party going on behind us?
Yeah.
That's what we're talking about.
Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now as a man who always brings the party.
He's an Emmy Award winner, an absolute stallion.
Mayor of New York, and I believe, I'm not breaking the news.
There's big news coming out of this guy's life soon.
Ladies is telling him, Peter Schroger.
Hey, Shregor.
Hey, Shregger.
Oh, Trigger at the SB party.
The nobles.
Nobles.
Hey, Tom Brady, Gabriel, Lewis.
Wow.
Tom, Todd, can you hit the, uh...
The white party?
Thank you.
Oh, was it?
Probably.
It's...
You got to get the wire out from underneath the, uh...
No, the microphone.
Yeah, right here.
This one right here.
The TV?
Can I ask?
It needs to go underneath your microphone.
Yeah, so here, I'm going to go like this and let's go like this.
Yep.
There we go.
That's how you're going right there.
That's how you adjust.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Peter Schreggle.
Shredgo. How you doing, pal?
I'm doing amazing. I am so happy to be with you guys.
Cool part of the summer.
You guys brought it yesterday, brought it last night.
I want all your stories from the wedding.
I want all your stories from the golf.
I mean, I am just a sponge for all of it.
I miss you guys.
It's so good to do.
Okay, we miss you too.
We appreciate you stopping by over here.
Obviously, we come to New York City, got to hit you up.
That's how everybody feels that comes to this city.
We certainly feel that way.
Espy's here celebrating sport is a special thing.
Let's dive into some football stuff.
Shepter said it feels like Aaron Donald's probably playing football this year.
That is awesome for all of us.
That's certainly awesome for the Rams.
You obviously flying coach into the Rams facility.
What is their conversation around it?
Because whenever we talked to Sneed,
Sneed told me, he was like, hey, why don't you start texting Aaron?
and like, yeah, time to come back, time to come back.
It feels like they are definitely in the Aaron Donald business,
but they don't want to be too over-bating?
Like, how do you think they're kind of handling it?
Great way to put it.
I think it starts with the player,
and Pat, you would know him better than I do,
but Aaron Donald is not going to come back
as some 30-cent-on-the-dollar version of Aaron Donald.
He wants to be ready.
That's why that workout was going on.
He wants to be fully where he was when he retired two years ago.
It wants to be the best version of himself.
When I tell you, they haven't even discussed money yet,
So that's the secondary part of this.
The first part is, does Aaron Donald want to come back?
Is he prepared to come back?
Is he ready to come back?
The Rams would welcome him with open arms, obviously, if the numbers worked out.
But this is not going to be one of those deals where it's like week two, week three, week four.
No, no, no.
He wants to go the full season if he comes back, and he wants to be at his best version of himself.
So that's why these workouts are happening.
I think he's figuring it out himself.
Training camp starts in a week.
I would imagine we would have more information by then.
Okay.
So if he comes back, I mean, I saw words floating, and people in Pittsburgh aren't going to love this, but like steel.
You're talking like absolutely iconic defense potentially.
Now, you said the money hasn't been figured out, but Aaron Donald, I don't want to talk for Aaron Donald or negotiate for Aaron Donald.
But, like, feels like that's probably an easy thing to figure out at this stage.
Two years removed.
This would be considered bonus money, but he's still Aaron Donald, so you have to pay him.
I think there is a number that they can both easily get to with incentives-based.
Sheffter said yesterday, and I disagreed with him on this, but he has more information than I do.
He said, this is a cuss shut up for Aaron.
He only had to play 10 to 15 steps.
Like, I don't think that's what Aaron Dono would ever want to do.
No way. I don't think that's what he would want to do.
So I don't know if Shepter's just thinking like, hey, this is like an easier game plan for Aaron Dono.
But you just mentioned it there.
He wants to be back as Aaron Donald.
Especially if he gets a chance to play alongside.
Yeah.
What they're able to do is his story.
I think Aaron understands.
and Miles probably understands, and everybody in LA understands, like, hey, Super Bowl's here.
We have a chance to do something that is, like, legendary and historic.
Now, obviously, they have to go out on the field to prove it.
But that roster all of a sudden becomes the Avengers if this actually happens.
And it's a mature group, too.
It's like a group that wants to win.
So it's an interesting dynamic.
It's a mix of guys who have one and haven't.
Remember, Devante Adams has been to five NFC championship games has never played in a Super Bowl.
Like, do we get one for Devante this year?
You know, you go through these different veterans on the line.
And, okay, we now all of a sudden have Trent McDuffie who's got Super Bowl rings and that experience.
We, of course, have Matthew Stafford, and we have all these other guys who are from the original team that won it four or five years ago.
But I wouldn't say the snap count.
I don't think Adam's that far off.
I would think more than that.
I would think you get him, you know, 20 to 25, whatever it is, if he comes back.
I mean, he will decide that.
Maybe early on, maybe early in the season straight.
Yeah, I think he's doing.
I think he's doing.
I think he's in the middle, too.
Like, that is, on the outside, you can rotate guys.
I think it's a lot easier to rotate guys on the outside.
He plays in the middle.
I don't know if it's just...
How many snaps per side normally?
Is like 50?
What do you?
Oh, off my feet?
60, yeah, between 55 and 70 maybe a game.
Yeah, I think he's 30 plus.
35 plus.
You would be in rhythm to play, like you want to be out there.
18 week season, you build towards that, right?
Yeah, he doesn't play it to.
See, I don't think so.
Australia.
It's an alpha.
I think completely often.
I think Aaron Donnell would come.
60 snaps.
Yes.
If he goes to camp, yeah, I think he's playing.
If he's doing his work out.
now. This is to see if he's ready for camp.
That's what it is. He wants
to make sure he's his best version. He's not,
he doesn't want to come back and I don't want to name an athlete
that came back in a different jersey or whatever.
Michael Jordan. Whatever. If you
want to say Jordan as the Wizards, who I think maybe
we revision his history, not so terrible
the first year with the Wizards. All stuff. Whatever
it is. Yeah. I think he dropped
50 too, right? Does it? Yeah. Yeah.
But he doesn't want to be a lesser version
of himself. He's too good of a competitor. He's already won
all the awards and has the Super Bowl ring. So he doesn't
need to do this just to do it. He
wants to be the most dominant defensive tackle
in the league, and there's a chance he can be if he's in shape.
And all those workout videos are different than playing
shape, as you know. Okay, so five of the
last nine defensive player of the years
would be on that roster. Wow.
He's an issue, though, with the money, I'll say
this. You know, when they brought
in Miles Garrett and they
restructured his deal, and they obviously
have all these other pieces, the Jalen Watson's
the Trent McDuffies, there are a couple
young guys on that team, and whether
it be Kobe Turner,
or whether it be Pouca Duna, or
whether it be Pooka Nakua, these guys, they're waiting their turn for their payday.
And I don't think Aaron Donald is going to be the one to say, you know what?
I don't want to say, I need $40 million for the year.
I don't think it's going to be that because that ruins the budget for everyone.
It would be incentives base and it would also be, I'm not ruining it for those young guys.
They're next in line.
I get it, but I need something.
And we would like to clearly say this is not coming from Aaron Donald that we're saying this.
We are just assuming it.
And Aaron Donald's agents have been some of the most savvy negotiators over the year.
Remember holdouts year after year and then getting his money and then surpassing expectations
than getting more.
So I don't think it's necessarily going to be one of these where it's, you know, one year,
three million.
I'm just happy to be here.
No, no, he's going to get paid something and there's going to be incentives, I'm sure.
Shreggs, would you be shocked if Aaron Donald doesn't play this year for the Rams?
Shafter kind of said that.
Yeah.
It feels like it.
I would say the Rams.
That is a Dan Patrick.
You're right.
That is a Dan.
Thank you for doing that.
Thank you.
Thank you for doing that.
Thank you.
I would be surprised if we don't see Aaron Donald as an L.A. Ram, but that doesn't come from Donald's side.
That's because the Rams are so, they're like, yes.
Like, of course you want Aaron.
Your boys are the head coach and everybody else.
That's where it comes from.
That's it.
They love him.
And they love him as a player and a person, and they would love this in the chapter with that.
So I don't know.
DeBott has a question for you, Shrey.
You're sure.
I know you've been in the SB.
Is this a Dan Patrick question?
No, this is a DeVar question.
Okay.
I'm saying my name.
I'm saying my life.
This is softball.
Boom.
You've been at SB's a ton of time.
Guess what?
Guess what?
Guess what?
Well, never have been to the...
What?
What?
On purpose?
Longtime Fox employee, long time NFL network employee.
ESPN wouldn't even know me if back in the day I walked into that red carpet.
I got invited, I'm going to go.
I can't wait.
What are you looking forward to?
Who are you most looking forward to moving?
My favorite SP moments was the Norm MacDonald monologue from many years ago,
where he actually blistered everybody in the crowd and it was an absolute roast.
And it's been 20 years.
Marcelo from Saturday Night Live,
funny guy.
I am curious to see
what kind of jokes we get.
I always like the monologue.
I love Pat McAfee's monologue
a couple years ago.
That was good.
Thank you.
That took some shots.
I like that.
There was one.
The boys know that there was a
there was a closer
that got left in a chamber.
Was there one?
Was there a cutting room floor?
Who was it about?
First time in sports as a whole.
First time in my life.
You didn't say something.
I kept one in the chamber.
Can I get the...
It was 20-21?
When was it? It was 2020?
It was during the writer's strike.
I don't remember.
Okay.
Can I get the subject?
No.
No.
You cannot.
It was good, though.
There was a reason.
I thought you danced the line yesterday talking about that wedding.
I didn't sign an NDA.
I wasn't invited.
I can sing like a canary.
I have no details.
You were great.
You didn't say anything.
I didn't sign an NDA either.
So, but I think I did agree to something.
So, like, I had to go back and look.
And to be clear, you were great yesterday.
You walked that line.
You didn't say a word.
If they give me.
cease and desist
that would be show gangster
from my understanding
from what I learned
from what I learned at that wedding
that is a gangster group over there
and they are so good
I watch that documentary on Taylor
okay my wife
happy watch it I've seen it she is
a workhorse
she is a genius
she has like no attention left
no detail left
unattended like by her
like I have massive respect
for the way she goes
about doing what she does
okay she's obviously
got into some political stuff
because she's the biggest star on earth,
and that's certainly something I think she has felt called to do,
so people are going to hate her for that.
That was a part of the documentary,
the behind the scenes of her deciding to do a political thing,
and she understood the ramifications of it,
and people are going to hold that against her.
But she's a special talent.
But the team around her also is like...
Oh, that's an apparatus.
Can I ask a couple questions,
and feel free to say nothing.
Who won the dance floor?
Who was like the person?
You said Mahomes on the dance floor.
Was there anyone...
I don't think this is spilling it.
You can also say nothing.
I'm just fascinating.
I love a wedding.
I love a part.
I would like to know.
Who made you surprise you?
I would say the Kansas Chiefs football team.
Hell yeah.
Was on the dance floor.
It felt like a decision was made by the Chief's locker room.
That was like, hey, we're going to be on the dance floor.
And I don't know if that was like Travis being like, hey, let's.
I need you guys here.
Wait, let's let people.
Andy Reid was not on the dance floor when I saw him, but he was looking at the dance floor.
He was wearing a suit or a poro.
Everybody had, now here's a little inside detail.
See, now we go.
Nobody will really believe this.
My tucks?
Yeah.
Amazon.
No.
I believe it.
Like week before or six days got a trial?
Amazon, yeah.
There was a...
Did you go to a Taylor?
What are you doing, man?
No.
Thank you.
So I got a new update.
So they were rolling out updates on this wedding.
Okay.
Like, everybody on the internet was saying it's going to be a bad square garden.
Yeah.
I was not told.
that. I thought it was a big rude.
You don't say that. I thought that was like because
they were sending emails and then like I would get, I might have been the last
person to respond to be honest because I thought I was getting scammed.
So random number text me. Mark as known.
Random number text me and says like, hey, we are so
pumped to tell you that we have some details for the events you're going to and then a
link. And I'm like, yeah, right. I just got done with a McAfee
deal and they're like
this is the easiest way I scam so I delete
the message I don't even I don't even
don't even respond don't even think about it I just delete it like
my number must have got into another thing
sweet we move week later
another text comes through same same
situation you're thinking Ponzi scheme
scammer I think I'm getting fished I think I'm hitting that thing
because there's no reason what they were saying in that text message I should be
getting that I thought to myself delete it again
delete it again I don't I think I even told the boys I'm like they're
trying to get me with my guy before the day before the wedding.
I thought I was getting it.
I was asking him questions about where it's at and he's like, you know what?
I should probably click this link.
But the link is so horrifying.
No, so that's later link, please.
I was already in it there.
The first, I think I might have been the last person to respond.
Actually, Travis had to text me and say like, hey, you're coming.
This is a real text.
I'm like, what an honor.
That's what I said.
Thank you so much, dude.
I did not think that was going to happen.
So then I clicked the thing.
And clearly, yeah.
It's like a paperless post.
Like, britting.
No, yeah, it was awesome.
And I had my name across it also.
If you like screenshot it, obviously, it was like very, everything was.
Oh, I'm sure it was so well done.
And remember, Taylor's like the queen of Easter eggs, you know, and like the entire thing.
So once I got in there, I was like really excited.
I'm like, okay, now I'm a part of like Taylor's game here.
Now we're like in this thing.
But they weren't giving away any information.
I pictured you like true detective with like the board like at all the different.
So they gave the date.
I never told.
Right?
I would like that to be on the record.
I never said a word about the day, even to the guys, because I thought maybe my phone was miced up.
I did not know.
Like, after hitting that thing, I did not say anything.
But I did not know where it was until, like, day before they send a thing.
They're like, hey, this is it.
This is the time.
This is when you do it.
It was like, okay, so that is what it is.
And we even, I even kept to shut down.
How did you handle no phones?
Was it liberating in a little bit of a way?
Yeah, it was incredible.
Yeah.
For me, we did Augusta this year.
So that was, and it sounds so stupid for me to say.
Precursing.
at the Masters. No, it doesn't, but that's the only
other place that I've ever heard, like, a Chappelle
a Chappelle concert. I almost left
the Masters. Foxy
would tell you. Foxy, push
came to shove the morning.
They're like, all right, put your phone in your room,
and then you'll get in a Sprintovann, and then I'll
drive you in there. And I put
my phone in my room at Augusta,
and I walked out,
and I turned back, I was like, I got to get one last check.
Let me see what's going on here. And then
I walked out into, like, the living room area
we're staying in and I'm like, I'm not going.
I'm not going. I'm going to sit in my phone instead.
I'm going to stay here. I'm going to stay here.
I'm staying right here. And it was like a real
moment like, are you that connected to your phone?
Yeah. And I was like, yeah, I am. And then I put it down.
And then we got into a sprinter van that had blacked out windows.
Do you remember that, Foxy?
Oh, yeah, 100%. I thought I was getting kidnapped.
That was the most genuine anxiety I've ever seen you have in the eight years I've been with you.
Yeah. I'm thinking this is a dream come true for me. I'm going to the Masters for the first time ever.
I might only be there for five minutes
we're turning around and get Pat's phone
but we had a great time it was awesome
I am very much not very prepared for a lot of things
I would just like to enjoy the thing that we're at
like Carmen Derby last night if you watched our stream
we had no idea how to get there we had no idea where we're standing
but we're just going to enjoy this thing
I like to go into things like that
I know there's a lot of people that like to have all the information
I like to just kind of fucking live
like let's just enjoy this thing
have to have my phone though
this is my life
literally my job I have to know what's going on
basically and everything so I think
That, with how much fun I had at that, was like a good.
Yeah, going into that.
And then when you walk in there, and it's like, Brett Veach is one of the first people
with talking about.
And he's like, I'm so happy you're here.
I'm like, me too, dude.
Good to see you.
And then you got, you know, just the.
You mentioned yesterday, I'm not giving anything.
You mentioned a Brad Pitt interaction that he bought you a drink.
No, didn't buy it.
Sorry.
Come on.
Hey, no.
I'm revealing myself a little bit.
He and friends from Jersey.
But anyways, it was awesome.
Just know it was awesome.
It was spectacular.
Was there a person of that caliber?
Besides Brad Pitt, maybe that you had like a really deep.
Michael Block.
Impactful conversation.
Yeah, Blockie stole the show, actually.
We're afterwards.
You said he did the worm on the dance before you left back back.
Blockie, yeah.
Blockie was not.
I did talk to Dean Blandino.
I got to see Dean Blanino.
Dean went viral afterwards.
Started Isaac.
I was very happy that they were there because I thought me and my wife were
certainly going to be the ones that were like,
Like, why are these two here when everybody else isn't?
But from my understanding from the conversations that I had,
I think they felt there were like groups.
And like if there was direct in groups,
but they probably weren't going to invite them.
Like they just wanted to make like easy on the people that were invited,
like, hey, we'll invite your entire.
Burkhart, Brady, Aaron, Dean.
Yeah, boom.
And then like there's the Monday night countdown crew.
Sure.
They're like, it felt like everybody had a group.
Jason, Ryan, all those guys were like...
Everybody had a group, except for me and my wife.
So we got a chance to like bounce around and like see everybody.
I have to think though, knowing how like Bradley Cooper gravitated towards you and all that.
There had to be a cool moment for you to have these people acknowledge you and that they are watching the show and that they are...
Yeah, I mean, that's why I think I thought it was the greatest thing about it.
Chris Rock knew my name, Sandman goes, oh, McAfee, I watch it's like, cool.
Yeah, it was awesome.
I would just like to go on the record yet again and say it was...
And did your wife have a blast?
Yeah, we had an absolute blast.
I thought you guys were waiting in lines the whole time.
That's what I read.
I mean, eating buffet food.
What's that all about?
Eating buffet food is no boo.
It was fucking no boo.
Yeah, we did.
We did stand behind two people and waiting to get no boo.
It's Paul McCartney.
Yeah.
You guys have got a raffle tickets or something.
I want to hold your head.
First time since 1960.
I saw that.
I didn't know that.
I didn't know that in real time.
I was singing.
I was singing it. I was singing it. Good stat, right?
Like, Paul, hell yeah, dude, we're here.
Hembo was on that one. First time, it's 64. Boom.
I guess yesterday, me saying that Averillivine played
Skater Boy was the first time that it came out.
It hadn't been revealed. Yeah, but she was awesome.
And to be clear, those musicians, really cool.
Like, one would just call out the other.
And then they would come up, and then they would just do their shit.
Yeah.
And it was like, some of them I didn't know their songs.
Like Ice Spice was there.
Obviously she's very tight with Taylor.
I didn't know her song.
I didn't know it, but I would like say she pulled out good.
A lot of energy.
Yeah?
A lot of energy up there.
How about New York City this summer?
Nicks, Taylor Swift wedding.
How about the Jay-Z concert over the weekend?
Three of them, three or four of them?
LeBron's there.
LeBron was there.
You heard it was a nightmare?
Yeah, they said like.
The third night there was a security issue.
Like people were just like standing in there waiting.
Didn't go on until like late.
Yeah, but I heard Jay Z came out and said you want everybody to make sure they were safe getting in.
And he brought out Rihana and Beyonce.
say together.
Was GZ
Z came, he canceled his show in Vegas,
flew out.
Did they do?
Rihanna, who, you know,
M&M.
HADD. Hard to get a billionaire
on the stage before.
M&M.
Nod's performed with Jay-Z,
which was major in New York.
God, look at you doing it in New York,
bro. New York's really doing it.
And then for the SPs, obviously,
we hope that this is a good show
celebrating sports
and not what it sometimes is.
Sure, sure.
And we're right into belly of the beast here,
and I hope they do hear me.
Let's make sure we're celebrating sports here.
That's the purpose of the SPs.
As opposed to what?
Just shit.
That was a Dan Patrick question, AJ.
I'm genuinely kind of curious, though.
You know what I'm talking about.
So I don't need you to ask for further details.
You know what I'm talking about.
And then the World Cup finals Monday, or Sunday here.
Yeah.
It's not going to be America.
We got a big game today.
Are you going to watch a game with it?
Are you going to work today or what are you doing?
I'm going to be watching.
France Spain.
We're going to some dive bar that Bruce got blacked out truck with the owner.
Yeah, he's a guy's name Shane all.
Cropton alehouse.
Great spot.
Don't say that.
What is you saying?
A true.
Absolute.
That's decoy.
We're not going to buy a drink again.
Foxy, please show the video of him walking out of that bar again, please.
Everybody can understand what he just said is not the truth.
Just miss an absolute sitter.
Ladies and gentlemen, this man at 345 cannot be trusted.
No, shirtless.
At least that restaurant had an A grade.
Hey, to be clear, Orine, the Irish lady who's the bartender that's either Maureen or not.
Norrin.
We don't know.
We don't know. Orine.
She was awesome.
She might have been the best bartender I've ever seen dealing with somebody like Bruce.
Oh, my God, shirtless.
Got married over the break and then comes back here shirtless.
Yeah, the 27-day wedding in Croatia.
Yeah, I saw the pics.
Comes over here.
Unbelievable.
Does it again.
She poured him a water and just, like, slid it to him.
She knew.
Yeah, she's, that place was awesome.
I don't know the name of that place, but I assume we'll be there again.
It's way too close to where we are staying, but.
Nice ball day up for him.
We got 30 seconds before the heart out here.
Anything we need to know about the football world that you know in your brain
that we've not asked you about?
Any damn Patrick questions we should have asked?
Seahawks' new ownership, I think, is pretty interesting.
They sold that team, so you're going to have a minority owner from the 49ers
who takes over the Seahawks, who's multi-billionaire.
Obviously, that's a storyline.
And then we get into this season, and it's just anybody's game after last year
with the Patriots and Seahawks.
I cannot wait.
You're the man.
We hope you'll hang out with us.
We'll be back on the other side.
Be a friend, tell a friend, something nice.
It might change their life.
Take three.

My name is Peter Parker, but I'm also Spider-Man.
This July
You're faced with a threat
That can be anyone
The world may have forgotten Peter Parker
I'm just a neighbor
Friendly neighbor
But he hasn't forgotten them
Sometimes Spider Man has to do the hard thing
That's my responsibility
Talk to Banner
I didn't know you could get that big
Spider-Man
Brand New Day
In theaters July 31st
Sporris
Spores
Good shot
Good opening shot
We have a couple of games.
Great shot.
Yeah, Jack and Diet, please, I guess.
We'll do that.
All right.
Whatever boys have.
Yeah, that's fine.
Same thing.
Minus the diet.
What?
You just want straight Jack?
Not Jack, something else other than, but some kind of bourbon, whiskey with ice.
So why did you say minus the jet?
That's a completely different.
Mine is the diet.
Obviously, guys, it's been a while.
I've been off there for two weeks now.
Sorry.
That's the problem.
Foxy.
Foxy
This is normally
Foxy's issue
Foxy
You back there
Normally Foxy comes back
After the two week break
And he doesn't know
How to work his finger
Normally he is just ass
I don't know how to order
A drink anymore
You're right
I told Pat that is not true
I'm like Connor McGregor
I'm always fight red
Whoa
We just saw it
He did say that
The day after
Connor McGregor
did the whole thing
That he happened
Just the other day
I go Foxy
Why don't we get a little work
On maybe the board
Before we go back live
Because every time
We do a two week break
You come back in your ass
And he goes, I'm not ass, I'm Connor McGrath.
Two punches like that.
Yes, he did.
I'm like, okay.
Thank you, con man.
It's very kind of beautiful.
Have com man, deliver a couple of those to the truck.
I heard it.
A little bit late.
Okay.
We appreciate you.
Thank you, brother.
Hey, to the SPs.
To the, well, wait.
You should wait.
To the Spes.
Tone getting this guy to pull bottles out from the back.
First drink of the day is obviously served to us here at the Sbies lounge.
This is where all the superstars that you see.
at the S.B's check in. They get
a Hummer for free.
What? From these people right over here.
Sign up right over here. You get a free hummer.
The car, not the, not the other thing.
I know Hawks thinking about. I think you also.
There's a chance you can get in there.
You come right over. Yeah, it is electric.
You can weigh it back.
It's a fully immersive experience.
I believe they call it the 5,000.
The something, something 5,000. But yeah, they got
access to it. Come over here, get some dirt.
get some body lotion, some body spray from W.
Shout to Jake Paul, by the way.
Obviously, numerous businesses he's going.
Did not, we had kind of becoming a thing.
We had no idea what this was going to look like.
We had no idea where we were.
Obviously, shout out to Foss, getting us on the ESPN,
people that set this entire thing up.
We appreciate that.
The guy that runs the ESBs, obviously does not work for ESPN anymore.
I'm sure he was pumped to hear that we're going to be cutting the lounge into half,
but we are pumped to be here and thankful to be here.
This is college football national champions,
Super Bowl champion,
Roda Cup winner, AJ Hawk.
AJ.
Hey.
Huggle.
Huggle!
Come on.
Huggled!
Hey!
AJ Hock!
Yeah.
AJ Hock!
This is stupid.
AJ Hock.
AJ Hock.
AJ Hock.
You.
We're viral, man.
That was viral and shit.
Okay.
Yeah, I did get to tackle the Mizz.
You're right.
Nine-year NFL vet.
There is Jay Butler.
Here.
Hey, there's here.
Here.
Batch.
Batch.
You.
Butch.
Ladies and gentlemen, standing to my left over here,
guys walking it down.
Legend.
Holding it die.
You know, we walked into a little bit,
a couple enemies in this room.
You know, wouldn't want to walk into this room
with anybody else or to Kingley!
Yeah!
The man right there.
It's the man right there.
Kaly just told us with his eyes to go fuck ourselves.
Yeah.
Obviously, the toxic tables here at Boss Conner and at Ty Schmidt.
What are boys?
And the booze bag, Tone Diggs is still up at the bar.
I don't know if he is lost or confused.
Saz-R?
No, Foss. He's going to go fetched jing.
batch of jingie.
Jeez, Tony.
Foss, obviously, working as a barback as well as a man who has to set everything up and
book people as he hops out of the way.
Superstars filing in for the SPEs, obviously the annual celebration of the sports world,
we hope.
We hope that it will continue to be that.
Celebrating sports.
34th year.
Yeah, and I think there's probably really good ones in there somewhere, and then it
kind of took a turn for a while, and then hopefully we're back to being awesome, and we
are certainly pumped and thankful to be.
Are you okay, Tom?
No, just Shraig's in this.
Shragis was born to be in this environment.
Anytime we could cut back, I guarantee you're going to see Shriggs just bopping around looking for something.
Where is he?
There's Baxter.
On the left.
Yeah, I appreciate him doing that.
We, there's Fis, having a good convo.
Is that Mick?
He was rolling around there earlier.
Who runs New York to Bruce or Shregs?
What's that?
Who runs New York?
You know, Bruce is like the king of New York.
He's the king.
Bruce is the prince.
To his prom.
I don't think Bruce would agree with that.
I think Bruce might challenge that.
Yeah, I think Bruce think the other way.
But Bruce also has all of Croatia now.
That is true.
He was speaking Croatian last night to the Irish bartender.
She didn't understand a word he was saying.
And once again, this was him exiting the bar last night.
Bruce Brown, welcome back to New York.
He's a married man now, ladies.
He's a married man.
And we know that his wife has certainly pumped to see that right there.
We know last night it was certainly special.
Bruce, thank you for coming back to six.
in such a big way.
I'm bravi-hervat.
You know, the difference between Serbian and Croatian is
Serbian uses the Russian alphabet.
Croatia uses R alphabet.
Same language, different alphabets.
I think that was him trying to sell me
towards the Croatians over the Serbs,
because I think he's already inserted himself
in a potential thousand-year war or whatever is going on.
But I appreciate that he did that.
I've learned a lot about Croatia.
It is a place that I would certainly want to get to.
17 hours to get there.
so we kind of all opted out
of taking a private plane to his wedding
but we are at some point
going to have to go over with the king of Croatia
Bruce Brown. Next year.
We'll push that to next. It's gorgeous.
We'd like to let the people of Croatia now that Bruce Brown
has come back and said terrible things about all you guys.
Oh, come on, never.
Never.
He loves that way. He would move to Croatia.
I mean, it looks amazing.
Some of the stuff even that he just posted
from it was, I mean, they were on a pirate ship.
They're on the black pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean.
You could see why you'd want to be there for
35 days.
Without a doubt.
Exactly.
Yeah.
We can definitely see that.
I see your, ladies gentlemen, one half of the hammer.
Died.
Cowboys say,
is AJ giving a toast to, didn't she say?
I'm not giving a toast.
Did she say?
He's doing like a, yeah.
AJ.
Boys?
To the espies.
Boom.
Celebrating sports.
There's old chips.
Cheers.
There's red chips.
There's blue chips.
But there's no chips.
Like friendships.
I don't know if you said that right.
Well said, Tony.
I'm thinking.
Well said.
better than Bruce did.
I think you, I think you may be, they're all in there.
I just don't know if they were in the proper order.
Here's to the breezes that blows through the trees.
Nice.
I don't know if we can do that way.
Cheers to the ESPs.
Thank you for letting us invade you here, obviously.
Shrag's still here.
That's that.
He just found his way over the Hes.
Give yourself a Hummer.
Do you guys give him a Hummer?
Thank you for doing that.
Whoa.
I can't wait to get a Hummer later.
Yeah.
Jesus.
Where are you going?
Always a good day to get a Hummer.
I'll tell you, as a guy who has a guy who has.
has got one.
You guys.
I will say it's good.
No doubt.
Hey, do you know much about the vehicle?
The crab walk?
Yeah, the crab walk feature?
Nobody uses it.
That does everything apart.
Would you ever use it, though?
I guess when, if you were stuck in a beach,
if you're stuck in a hole?
If you're in a beach.
If you're in a city, you would use it
because you can get.
Like, instead of parallel.
Yeah, so you can move like out of things,
but obviously nobody's driving a hundred.
Have you ever tried it though once?
Can't you like scale up the side of a mountain doing that?
Yep.
Yeah, but if it rains, it's going to rain inside.
Yeah, you turn it sideways.
Is there a reason why?
Is there a reason why it rains inside of my, my Hummer?
His guy don't know shit.
Yeah, right.
That guy's the face.
It's a good way of my bag now.
There's bags are giving away it looks like.
I'll tell you, it's all glass roof.
So you can't, like, there's nothing to, no shade?
You latch.
Some sort of seal that.
And my seals just don't work.
You need flex seal.
So if it, rest and peace.
I have a lot of, rest and please.
Yeah, the guy.
You're not dead.
What?
You're thinking it's bad.
You're thinking shame.
You're thinking well we made.
Shand well.
You're thinking.
You're thinking.
to Billy Mays.
You're thinking I'm obviously clean.
Yeah, Billy Mays is he...
Miss you, Billy.
This guy is kind of a knockoff
Billy Mays, but...
He's very good.
He's not.
He's still a...
I mean, I'm boat.
I know.
I know.
The bottom of the boat is a screen door.
What I'm saying is the ceiling of these things
is a screen door.
Okay, it's the sun gets in,
the water gets in.
Yeah, I would need flexil like that guy.
But I would recommend that car.
There's a flexil stand, actually,
back here for everyone to send.
Shrags just stopped by,
sprayed it down his throat.
You didn't know.
Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, he's in a different country.
But boy, I think he's still going to be bringing it.
The British Open's happening this week.
Yes, 154th Open Championship.
And it is at the Royal Burkdale.
Okay, obviously Wimbledon, straight in the Royal Burkdale here.
The only man that could give us what is actually happening.
Boots on the ground is a damn good dog.
Ladies and gentlemen, the most prolific writer that ESPN has.
Stats say that.
Mark Slobol.
Yeah.
Slobo!
International shlawball.
All right.
International shlawball, we assume we'll still have the same heat, but who knows?
Tell me a little bit about what we need to know about the Open.
And I'm going to be honest, we're off for two weeks.
There's a lot of things we missed.
I had no idea of Patty the Batty was fighting in that International Fight Week card before Connor.
I had no idea we had another major this close.
And obviously, we're friends with John Daly.
So we understand the significance of winning one of these for your career.
understand how big this is, and obviously we appreciate this tournament.
Vastly different style of golf every single year in this particular one.
What should we be thinking as we look ahead to this?
And we certainly knew this was going to happen, so you're telling everybody else stuff that we don't need.
We already know.
Yeah, I mean, it's hot as hell over here.
It's dry.
It's fast.
It's firm.
Even the bunkers look thirsty this week.
John Rom talked about unprecedented conditions.
It's supposed to be hot until the weekend.
No rain in the forecast.
Mom said it today.
you could hit a six iron 280 yards, Pat.
I'm not sure I could hit a driver that far these days.
Why, just because it's running or because it's hot?
It's running.
It's hot.
It's just firm.
It's fast.
It's brown.
You know, and it's going to get, it's going to get firmer and firmer.
I mean, it's only Tuesday.
I've never seen an open course, a lynx course, this brown.
Scotty Shelver said the ball is going to roll forever.
You know, Rory called it a double-edged sword because even the rough,
The lush rough and the heavy rough that's usually penal might not be so penal because it's dying as we speak.
Okay, so the rough is dying.
It's already brown.
It's Tuesday.
I believe you told us earlier it's going to be purple by this weekend.
Wind also normally a big conversation in these.
Is that still going to be a factor?
Is the heat kind of killing the wind?
No, no.
The wind's still blowing off the Irish coast.
If you're a gambling man and you want a first round leader,
maybe take a guy in the Thursday morning wave.
before the winds whip up.
I walked the seventh hole with
Harris English damn good dog this afternoon,
and that's the most exposed par three
on the course, and it was blowing hard.
But yeah, it's hot, Pat,
and they don't have air conditioning here.
And I finally figured out
why the Axis Powers never invaded England
because there was no AC.
They had a 200-year head start.
And they can't figure it out over there still.
figure it out.
I mean, the other thing, look,
look, I'm not going to complain
about coming across the pond on ESPN's
dime anytime.
No way to see and the food,
you know, it's a struggle.
Okay.
The British might have conquered the world for spices.
They just never brought them back.
Wow.
Yeah.
But a boo-hoo for slobong.
International shlaw.
Love it. I love it.
More like international schla.
Boom.
Okay.
All right, all right.
That's great. They still, hey, they still have
brony. They had to import that too well.
I understand you're still boozing over there.
We respect and appreciate that.
You're a damn good dog yourself.
We learned through the World Cup that the air conditioning game is a huge advance.
And I would like to tell Europeans, the fact that they're mentally tough enough to battle without air conditioning on a day-to-day basis might make them tougher.
But certainly is a part of the smell thing that I think probably happens over there.
Beautiful country.
The sun never set on it.
And I do appreciate the fact that you said that the people that found the good tasting stuff just decided to never go back to England with it.
But there is ranch dressing coming that way, I believe.
I believe you got ranch on the way because of the World Cup from my understanding, Schla, ball.
I wish they would have discovered mustard America as well because there's not any of that over here.
I'm able to find it.
I actually, Pat, for the first time in my life, watched a World Cup game, wire to wire Saturday night.
I figured when in Rome do it.
And it was exciting.
And I mean, look, an English golfer hasn't won the open since Nick Fowdle won is 30.
claret jug in 1992. There hasn't been
an English golfer when they open on English
soil since Tony Jacqueline
in 1969.
If English, if England can
beat Argentina
tomorrow night and an English
golfer is in contention on
Sunday, this might be the greatest
sporting weekend in English
England's history. Except for
what, they do horse racing over there, right? Like
horse racing's big over there? Yeah,
Dress. Royal Ascot. Yeah. Royal
Ascot. There it is. So Shlaba,
Let's make sure we're not leaving out the ass.
You're kind of putting the ass and askot right now by leaving out the horse in this entire thing.
Cricket. Cricket's big too now.
The last, I remember when Brian Armond, another dog won the open at Royal Liverpool a couple of years ago.
I got into a cab on Monday, and the guy was listening to a cricket match on the radio.
Two days later, Pat, I get back in a different cab, and the different cabby is listening to the same cricket match.
It had it gone on for three days?
Yeah, they've done, what, 14-day games or whatever?
You got to remember back in the tie, too.
Soccer's starting to do that again.
But we love the World Cup.
Yeah, we love the World Cup.
Top English golfers headline international leaderboards.
Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Tyrol Hatten, obvious.
Terrell Hatten.
Terrell, Tyrol, Tyrol, Tyrol, when he's playing.
Terrell when he plays well, Tyro when he's playing bad.
Yeah, Fitzpatrick, Fitzpatrick, English guy, first and strokes gained around the grain,
which could be important, second and a pro.
8th in driving accuracy, which may or may not be as important this week, as we talked about the rough not being as flush.
Tommy Fleet, we grew up here in Southport.
Okay.
Stuck onto the course as a kid.
Okay.
You know, his 45th start in a major, no victories, he's easily the crowd favorite.
Tyrol, we talked about.
Colomorikawa is a guy, battled a back injury.
He's a former Open Championship winner.
He could be sneaky good here, his short game in putting, leave a little bit of a little bit of
bit to desire.
Victor Hovlin's found things again.
Ludwig Oberg needs to finish and play well.
And look, Wyndham Clark's the best player in the world at this.
It's played better than anybody else in the world the last couple months.
There he is.
He's, what's this?
There is, yeah.
I mean, hell, I'm talking to him.
I'm wanting to ask you how to do it and how to make it work.
He has two different hangers.
He had the wooden one yesterday.
Then he had a little flimsy red one today.
So there's that one, yeah.
Okay.
If he really wants to flex, he really, you know, he pissed off all the Canadians by showing up in the USA jersey, Canadian hockey jersey.
He needs to wear an Argentine soccer jersey tomorrow.
No, I wouldn't do that.
Maybe Lou Messi, because he is American.
Wyndham Clark, great American, we will certainly pull for him, especially if he's just using basic ass hangers at the driving range of a major in England, where everything is so hoity-to-dy.
I appreciate Wyndham Clark doing that.
Let's talk about another American.
Scotty Schepler misses the cut for the first time in, what, 10 years or something?
78 starts.
Obviously, I read all the posts online about how many Tiger made in a row, like 130 or something like that straight.
That thing's never going to be touched is what people say.
Scotty missing the cut says what to you?
Because the first time you came on our show, your first take was Scotty's swing is shit right now,
but he doesn't want to talk about that.
And then he would go on to win and then come in second and win and come in second.
And you would say he swing is still not good.
He's somehow winning this.
He makes a cut.
Is that like a breaking point for Scotty maybe to kind of reevaluate,
or do we think he bounces back?
How do you think Scotty views this week after something he hasn't done in forever?
Well, I mean, he hadn't won since the season opening event.
He's got four runner-ups.
He's got 14 top 25s and 15 starts.
You know, his iron play has been a little bit off,
but I mean, he's still top 25 in the world.
He couldn't hit fairways last week,
but I've been over to North Barrett, Scotland,
and if you're just a little bit off, the wind's really tricky.
He was asked about missing the cut.
A British writer said, sorry to start with such an awful question,
but, you know, what did you do last week?
And he said, I worked out on Saturday.
I drove over here.
I played 18 holes on Sunday.
Played 9 on Monday and 9 on Tuesday, and he's never played Royal Berkdale.
So, you know, maybe it's a blessing in disguise and a mental reset and a physical reset.
Somebody asked him about his legacy earlier today, Pat, and he said,
I don't really play for a place in history.
I'm not playing for anything like that
because this is going to sound a little morbid.
At the end of the day, I'm going to live my life
and it's going to end.
We're all going to die.
He's what he said.
He's a beast.
He sounded more and more like my guy.
I mean, he said it.
Hey, Rory, he said the same thing.
I mean, Scottie said something similar
or not similar last year.
Like right before he won the open last year,
he like gave one of an answer like this, didn't he?
Or am I wrong in that?
Yeah, like, well,
why am I doing this?
You know, what is it all mean?
I ask myself that every morning.
Yeah.
Let's just make.
Yeah, and then you say,
there's no air conditioning.
Yeah.
Oh, what are you saying?
Spices.
I need more spices.
All right.
Let's continue to talk to a guy who is
abroad right now.
Yeah.
Are you all by yourself over there?
The ESPN just lie you over there by yourself?
Are you like...
I got a producer here.
I'm a one-man show doing everything.
God, that's, hey.
That's an international.
He's a damn good dog.
Yeah, damn good, dog.
Come on, Slabaw.
Go.
Dogs.
Hey, 62 degrees in this room right now.
Shlaw ball.
That's a lot.
It feels really, really good.
Okay, AJ has a question for your international shlawball.
Yeah, Shlawball.
Can you give us any international shlawball?
I'm sorry.
Any, I don't know, underdogs under the radar players you're looking at that could possibly make a run.
And also, what is the final score you believe that wins this thing?
Well, that's a good question.
Jordan Spieth won it in 2017 at 12 under.
I don't think we're going to get to St. Andrews, 20 under, because it was a lot shorter.
These are a lot smaller greens.
Average size, about 5,000 square feet.
I'm thinking 14 to 16 maybe age.
Are guys going to be hitting drivers out there?
If you can hit a 5 iron 300, do you need to hit driver?
Yeah, I mean, on some of all, I think that's the, Scotty talked about this earlier today, the strategic, you know, the strategy of it.
Do you just wail on it and try to avoid the fairway buckers?
You know, the deep pop buckers, that's their biggest defense out here with mounting.
It's not the big undulating fairways you see on other leagues courses.
But just, I mean, knock the hell out of the driver, knock it into the rough and be 70, 80 yards out and go from there.
So, you know, I think these Arnold Palmer won here, Jack Nicholas, Johnny Miller, great champions.
I mean, you've got to have a complete game.
So I think it's one of the top guys.
But I do think the English guys have a shot.
Ryan Fox is a sleeper from New Zealand.
He likes tough courses.
I gave him to you, I think, at the U.S. Open,
and somebody bet on him, and I apologize.
Yeah, I went well.
You've never given us a winner, by the way.
That question, as soon as AJS, I was like,
that sounds like a Dan Patrick question.
Because that's a hard question.
He's never going to get it right.
That's exactly right.
Do you want an update from the SB's lounge or no?
Yeah.
Did I win an SB?
You should?
You're up for four.
I mean, actually, we don't know who wins what for what anymore at the SB's,
but we'll be excited to watch it.
Hopefully we're celebrating sports this year like we have done in the past sometimes.
Talk has made his way to the bar.
Okay, just would like to let everybody know.
He walked here from the truck to go get a trick.
Yeah, Talk has made his way to the bar.
Talk, we're proud of you, buddy.
That made me toggle.
Talk is actually launching a podcast soon with Ty.
It's going to be called Talking Schmidt.
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They are.
That's out tomorrow.
That's right.
Hey, talk, let's not be...
Talk spilled three drinks in 17 seconds last night.
It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Yeah.
Steph Curry walks over maybe 90 seconds afterwards.
Everybody that works at this place was using wet wipes to dry up the seats because they'd cleaned everything.
Talk walks over with two drinks.
Boom.
Spills them all over everything.
So all the workers are like, we just made last call.
We're going home.
Come out with wet wipes.
Start wiping it down.
He gets a beer.
okay because there's another one
comes back over, boom,
right over top of it
and he goes, I guess I got to get out of here, guys.
Then Steph Curry comes over, daps him up,
and then he walks away.
He goes, Steph Curry is really kind.
Oh, no way.
Someone follows him all the way.
He's getting a camera, follow him.
Not a chance.
Not a chance.
Who from the truck told him to do that?
How far do you have to go?
That's a foxy call right, dude.
Hey, talk, I'd like to point you towards a guy, actually,
if you're going to do this, if that's piping hot.
If we're going to spell that, let's make sure it's on the right people.
All right.
What is he doing?
No way to go.
International swallball.
Let's get back to golf, please.
Let's get back to golf.
Please.
Tone has a question for you, international shlawball.
Yeah, I do.
You know, it has been the greatest run for John Rom in majors,
but this kind of feels like a course that maybe he could excel at.
Is Rom or one of the live guys?
Are they ever going to be in contention again?
Yeah, I mean, we talked about Haddon.
I think this course does suit Rahm.
He's performed well in the open in the past.
He's won three times on Liv,
and he criticized all of us for diminishing that fact in the past year.
But he's played well.
You know, the other big storyline, can Bryce and Deschambeau make a cut?
Yeah.
He's one of three guys who's missed the cut in all three majors.
He's got an entire set now of 3D printed irons that he'll play with this week.
so that'll be fun to watch.
You like that, huh?
It sounds like that's something you do love that happens.
He was just golfing with big trees.
I don't know where he was.
He was golfing very,
did you see it on his Instagram?
He was maybe.
Redwood Forest, maybe?
Ooh.
That's what it looked like.
That's what it looked like.
Do they have a golf course in the Redwood Force?
That'd be sick.
I don't think so.
We should.
You're not going to win shit
for not having that answer there,
Sabah.
You're not getting an SBA.
Hey, I got a 3D printed
putter that,
Michael Collins gave me the caddy.
Comedy?
I lose about six strokes a round on the greens.
It's awesome.
It's the first round.
Bryson's playing with these clubs.
He's 3D printed, like the full set.
If you're not counting the 472 rounds, he's played on YouTube, yes.
Do you watch those?
No.
Really?
Look, I like Bryson.
I do.
I think Bryson is one of the more fascinating guys out here,
and he's been good to be.
until the last few months.
But he,
oh,
what happened?
Why?
A little falling out.
He doesn't want to talk.
Well,
that's strictly because you,
he's in a tough spot.
The way you talked about
what,
what'd you call it,
the barely living tour?
He's been pretty loud over there.
International Schlaubach catching some heat over there
because Liv's super international,
right?
Did you see the guy sued him for $600 million?
Who?
They stole my idea that lost $6 billion.
You owe me $600,000 more?
I didn't see this.
happened? I broke it a couple
weeks ago, maybe last week. I was in the
Bahamas when I broke it. I would have never
guessed you would break some negative news about our lives.
Yeah, international sloba is a real
problem. Mike, might be on a peabody out there.
Go ahead, Ty. Yeah, international slawball.
Let's stray away from golf for
for a second here because we were actually talking last
night, college football, you know, where we want
to lean. And just curious,
hey, listen, them damn good
dogs, they got a lot of returning starters.
Can we get like a Georgia
update? Should we be kind of maybe
leaning towards Georgia to win the SEC this year and potentially win another national championship.
You know, I get home from England Monday evening, and I'll be on a plane to Tampa on Tuesday for
SEC media days, the start of the real season.
And now I saw a stat this week said Georgia was the youngest roster in all the FBS, or maybe Power 5.
But, yeah, it's interesting.
Kirby's been signing a lot of three stars.
Why? Because you guys can't afford it?
I'm not sure what's going on.
Yeah, I think they're broke.
No, I'm being serious when I say that, because Kirby has been very much like,
what do you guys think is the right answer?
I've heard him in like 100 different combos just be like,
what do you think is right answer?
What do you think is right answer?
I think Kirby, he's one of my favorite people in college football.
Kirby's always been very good to us.
Dogs fans have not, but Kirby smart has been very good to us.
I appreciate the level-mindedness of him.
I think he doesn't love what everything's happening right now,
not just because like Georgia is potentially nowhere near alumni wise where Penn State, Michigan, Oregon, everything like that.
I think a lot of SEC teams are talking about that.
But I think Kirby is like a college football pillar personally at this point.
So if he's taking three stars, I think there's a reason for that.
I think he is looking ahead.
I think he is ahead of game.
Do you view Kirby that way?
Is that how everybody in Georgia view?
Yeah, I thought Kirby's strength was always signed in high school talent, recruiting high school talent.
in developing high school talent.
And I think he does it better than anybody else out there now that Semen is retired.
But I just don't think he's going to pay a four-star guard $1.5 million.
He's not going to pay him more than the guys that are already on his team.
So they've got a couple of five stars.
I'll be curious, you know, he's got a bunch of guys leaving after this season.
I'll be curious to see if he goes heavier in the transfer portal.
But, you know, hopefully some of these, this legislation will get passed and we'll get some guardrails in here.
I don't think anybody can afford it.
Mark, at the pace it's at right now.
Mark, we were having this call by the other day.
Is Gunner Stockton good enough to win a national championship?
Yeah.
You got the right people around him.
I mean, Stetson Bennett was good enough to win a season.
Yeah, but Stetson could spin it, bro.
That's why Stetson in the NFL,
why he was able to just leave for a year, kind of do his own thing,
and come back because he can spin it.
I think Stets in the mailman, right?
Isn't that what they were calling?
Yeah.
He could spin it.
He delivered.
I don't know if Gunner,
from what I've seen,
great athlete, damn good dog, like all those things.
It's tough.
Obviously, the first time we saw him, he gets John Elway, and then he gets back up.
Does he have enough talent with this to be able to win an adie?
That's a real question, I think.
I think that's a real question.
He's tough as hell.
The throw he made against Tennessee in the fourth quarter I was at that game.
Oh, down in the right side of the end.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He can spend it.
He can spend it.
They got to get back to throwing it to the tight ends.
They got like 19, five-star tight-ins on the roster.
He's got to roll him out more, get the ball across the middle.
That was a big problem last year.
They got a consistent running game.
They had a ton of injuries on the offensive line.
But I think this team, it's not as good as the 21 or 22 defense,
but I think it's as close to that.
They're never going to have Jayland Carter running second string.
Can you tell me about expectations for Lane and LSU?
Because obviously, LSU with the amount of money they paid them,
the amount of hype, with the amount of drama to get them down there.
And drama around everything that Lane does, I think is just kind of way it is.
but I think everybody at LSU is expected to win.
That's expensive roster in this year.
They're expecting to win right now.
He's kind of trying to temper it down a little bit.
I'm headed down to Baton Rouge in a few weeks to see him.
But I mean, look, they went out and they spent a ton of money.
They got the quarterback from Arizona State who's a good player.
He's coming off an injury.
I think running backs a little bit of concern with him.
But they spent as much money with Brian Kelly last year and ended up fired.
So you got to get the locker room, right?
but he's got a couple good defensive players from Ole Miss.
I mean, I'm counting the days down when his ass goes back to Oxford.
Week three, can't wait for that.
There's going to be so much fun.
Game day is not definitely going there.
Remember only the first two weeks have been scheduled.
We're going to be at LSU Clemson.
You know, Dabo, good guy.
He's done a lot for college football.
Since I've been on college game day, Clemson has not been good at football.
They have not been good at football, but they have not been in national conversation.
The combo about Dabo was always like,
He won't evolve.
He won't evolve.
Now he is evolving, and he's a damn good football coach.
We all know that about Dabo.
But Clemson has been out of the story forever.
First week we're at Clemson LSU down there.
I think it's because we're at Lane Kippen or whatever.
Obviously, we're doing that.
But it's like if they just steamroll Clemson, which is possible.
Oh, yeah.
Clemson has got Georgia.
Didn't Georgia do that to Clemson?
What was that?
31-0.
That's happened a couple of times in these, like, opening weekend, you know, like, showcase game.
I think LSU's 10-point favorites.
The hype.
Damn.
That'll come out of an ass beating if that is what happens down there in Baton Rouge.
And then week two is what, Ohio State, Texas and Austin, game days there.
And then week three is in Oxford, LSU at Ole Miss.
And they wouldn't announce the game days there because I guess things could go completely off the rails for both.
LSU could lose the Clemson.
They could just absolutely do it and not do it.
Ole Miss opens up in Nashville against somebody good.
Yeah, they got Winnidad back, right?
Yeah, and Lacey.
Winad.
We saw Winnadadette at the college football national championship concert with Flo Rida.
Is that what it was?
Yes.
The national championship?
Yeah, that was the national championship.
We saw Winnadad there.
He was in the middle of still figuring out if he was going to be able to come back or not.
After watching him play in the Fiesta Bowl, I think.
I forget what city was.
Fiesta Bowl.
Phoenix.
He's an NFL guy, I think.
I think Trinidad's an NFL guy, the way he spins, how tough he is.
I'm not saying he's a starter, but I think he was.
but I think he will get on a roster.
He'll get an opportunity at some point to do that.
So I was trying to explain to him that if he doesn't get back into college,
he's going to be A-O-K.
Then obviously the appeals happen.
He gets in there.
It ends up taking place.
He's back.
He is an unbelievable football player.
I don't think anybody's talking about Ole Miss either.
Nobody's talking about Ole Miss.
Who's everybody talking about the SEC?
Is it Kirby this year?
Texas is the favorite.
Texas, Texas, Texas, again.
Arch.
Arch.
Arch.
It's Texas, Georgia, Ole Miss, LSU.
All right.
International slums.
Texas went out and got two really good running backs.
Offensive lines.
And the best wide receiver at the portal as well.
Cam Coleman.
Disgusting.
And Arch.
He had me playing quarterback at Auburn.
He caught honor balls.
Why do they always suck?
I don't know.
That's the last time I needed a police escort off the campus.
That's all I'm going to say.
They hate you, Hunter?
I don't like me too much.
They might like international sloth.
Yeah, that's a different part.
I guess he sees Slob.
All right. Last question here from Conman.
Yeah, Mark, speaking of Arch in Texas, there's a big story from the Manning Passing Academy about
CJ Carr, Notre Dame, him kind of stealing the show.
And we talked about Notre Dame in Oregon.
So kind of a Dan Patrick question.
But can, you know, Notre Dame and Oregon, can they win the big one?
Like, is it every year going to be, hey, this is the year, Dan landing that they get it done?
But do you actually believe they can do it?
And do you see either one of those teams in the national championship?
Yeah, I was out in Oregon a couple months ago.
I met with Dante Moore and Dan Lannning and I talked to a couple of his assistants.
I mean, they're loaded again.
And I love Dante Moore.
He's a great kid, great quarterback.
I was at that Peach Bowl when they lost to Indiana.
That was a really weird game.
Well Stein, their OC was going to Kentucky and Tosh LaPoy, their D.C.
was going to Cal and they were both recruiting and they both looked like zombies,
not taking anything away from Indiana because they jumped on them from the start.
They kept pounds kicked up, had the big.
six on the first pass of the game and then it just steamrolled.
But Oregon's, Oregon's got a ton of talent.
Dan's a damn good football coach.
Notre Dame, that's where I grew up.
I grew up a Notre Dame fan and then I grew up.
And it, come on.
Freeman's good.
Freeman's good.
I love everything about Notre Dame.
I grew up an hour from campus.
I love everything about Northern.
Where'd you grow up at?
You're from Indiana?
Culver, Indiana.
Lake Max and Cuckey.
I didn't know you're a.
Military Academy.
Is that from the accent?
No.
Yeah, because I thought you got that at Georgia.
Yeah, I thought you were a damn good dog.
I didn't know you were a Hoosier.
Congrats on winning in that you last year.
Wow.
I wasn't.
I'm not a...
I love to Bobby Knight.
You're on a...
No, night football and Bobby Night basketball.
Yeah, I think we kind of get that.
Yeah, we hear that.
Yeah, we hear that the way you talk.
Yeah, we hear that the way you talk.
And enjoy yourself over there, brother.
Maybe taking some of the European raise.
You know, enjoy the heat, the sauna, also known as the bedroom.
Just kind of live your life over there and let us know what all happens.
brother. Almost killed a
lady in a roundabout last night. It wasn't good.
Driving on the left side of the road's hard.
Yeah, because you've got to look the opposite direction.
Opposal. I keep thinking somebody's got
teabone me.
We hope that doesn't happen.
Mark. Yeah, because that has to happen
in Auburn, we've learned. Yeah,
not in England. Ladies and gentlemen,
international swabble. Yeah, more.
You're the best, buddy.
Ladies and gentlemen, the stars are at.
Yeah, yeah.
How are you guys doing?
A crowd has joined.
I believe that his husband.
I've seen him shirtless on the internet.
He is absolutely jacked as well.
Ladies and gentlemen,
joining us right now is somebody who just won a record-time
sixth World Cup skiing title.
She's nominated for the best athlete in women's sports.
I like that that's a title.
Yeah.
Ladies and gentlemen,
one slalom gold at the Olympics.
The What's the Point Pod?
Boom.
Our favorite pod.
Yep.
Ladies and gentlemen, American icon and hero, Michaela Schifford.
Thank you.
Good see you, Greg, see you.
Hey, J.N. Stand up.
I'm trying to give her this.
Here, here you go.
You know how to do it.
Ohio guy, cut a piece of shit.
I see him on the internet, jacked.
I see him on the internet jacked.
Yeah, take off your shirt.
Yeah.
I know.
What's happening?
He's, oh, he'll do it, too.
He is.
You are ridiculously jocked, bro.
Obviously, you are as well, Michaela.
You're the greatest steer in the history.
So thank you so much for joining us.
Thank you.
This feels like a great event to celebrate people who are incredible what they do.
I'm happy that you get celebrated here on a very regular basis.
And obviously the Olympics, we get a chance to celebrate the hell out of you.
How have you been since last time we talked to you?
I think you've broke more records.
How is life right now?
And welcome back to America.
Thank you.
Yeah.
It's good to be home.
I have been traveling a little bit.
I was in Norway, which a vibe over there is incredible.
I bet.
Oh my gosh.
And then coming back here has been really funny because everybody that we meet is they're like,
oh you're from to Alex like you're from Norway oh my god
Holland yes yes yeah we're actually man city
yeah we're man city fans yeah
for USA next world cup actually yeah he's going by Earl right
Earl oh it's tough to imagine that now he's
in America too Lou
yeah yeah yeah so good news we're winning the next one so
whoever's doing this one good luck we got
Ed Holland uh huh yeah yeah
Blue Messi.
Michaela, tell me a little bit about the Espies, honestly.
And if you were to win Best Athlete in Women's Sports,
have you won, I assume you've won one of these before.
I've won one before.
Congrats.
Thank you.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, no.
We weren't there.
Second one on the way.
Second one on the way.
Your people were there.
They got the clap for you then.
Yeah, well, we'll see.
I mean, it's just, it's an honor to be nominated.
I know that sounds like diplomatic, but everybody who,
who's nominated in the category is incredible.
Like Hillary Knight, I root for her.
I cheer for her.
It's incredible.
So I don't know.
It's really good to be here.
It's good to meet other athletes.
It's good to be able to celebrate sports
and the great performances that have happened this season.
It'd be amazing to win again, for sure.
But I feel like it's like the cherry on the cake.
You know, the nomination is just,
it's great to get that recognition anyway.
So.
Yeah, acknowledgment is good.
And we acknowledge by the way.
You do.
Yeah, we acknowledge you.
Yeah, we acknowledge, Michaela.
Thank you guys.
You're welcome.
I have a daughter.
Aja's got a couple.
He's got a daughter.
He's got a couple.
Three, yeah.
Daughters.
Ooh, full house.
Connor in the future will probably have a daughter.
I'm an orchid right now.
She's doing well.
Still alive.
Orchids are, I can't keep orchids alive.
He's got a green thumb.
Exactly.
He also has no kids or any other real profession.
Now, he will be getting married soon,
so life will change.
him.
But congratulations.
Thank you.
Can we talk about women's sports?
We can.
Because my daughter is definitely going to play sports.
I will force her to be playing team sports.
I have people that tell me I can't force her into that.
I was like, well, I view it as school.
I view it as a life lesson.
A lot of options, too.
She's definitely going to do sports.
How do you feel, and you're one of the drivers of this, women's sports feels like hotter than
ever.
Now, so much drama happening in the WMBA, but a lot of attention and money going to the WMBA.
So I think, is it good?
not good, that's for somebody else to decide.
No press is bad press.
I agreed, but it does feel like women's sports is, right?
Don't you think?
I don't actually know if that's true.
But, yes, I think women's sports right now.
Well, it's sports in general, right?
Like, it's the entertainment of it.
And I think people are starting to give credit that women provide that entertainment in sports.
And we're starting to see how exciting it really is.
And getting the recognition, getting these sports on television,
getting to watch, getting the viewership.
It's all part of that puzzle.
And it's really cool to see that it is, like you said,
it's like starting to really, it's getting really hot.
Yeah, it is getting hot.
WMBA is getting real hot.
Too hot.
Dan Patrick needs to ask his hard questions.
Kathy Englebert, ASAP.
Yeah, I agree.
That needs to happen ASAP for the good of all sports.
But as somebody who now, my daughter's three in two months now at this point,
becoming full human now.
We've got ideas, we got opinions,
We're dribbling basketball, we're kicking soccer ball.
It's like fun to watch.
And then I watch the women's sports continuing to grow, and it's like, man, it does feel like, how many years you've been doing this now?
Have you been?
16.
Okay, so at the beginning.
Professionally.
Okay.
And I don't know skiing, because I assume it's always women skiing has always been.
It's actually, it's ironic, well, not ironically, but it's skiing is one of the few sports where women have had equal prize money to the men, really.
There are a couple races at, like, the men race Kitsfield, and then the prize money is insane.
But otherwise, like, I've had several seasons where I've out-earned the men in prize money.
Just, it's really based on your performance, and there's a lot of opportunities.
Let's go.
To the bang.
Unreal.
Unreal.
I'm going to win tonight.
Yeah, we love that.
Let's get her an award, Marr.
I just snorted.
That's okay.
It's tomorrow.
Yeah, tomorrow night.
Yeah, we're all living in the same day.
Time is a flat circle.
but skiing European though, right?
I mean, that's all mostly...
It's more European base for sure.
Yeah.
No air conditioning.
They don't...
Actually, this is a totally different topic.
They don't have AC in Europe, really.
So it's been tough this summer.
But, yeah, it's a lot bigger in Europe.
Boney Miller, I think he used to have a shirt
that said something like, I'm big in Europe.
It's like getting more energy into the U.S.
because now we have more U.S. races,
and this season we'll have racing Pever Creek,
we have racing Killington.
Oh, Killington.
That's a tall.
Shout out for Vermont.
That's a tough.
Shout out.
This guy's backyard.
It's a bit icy up there.
It is.
Easy.
Yeah.
I think there's some power,
it's fresh, pal.
I would go out of West.
Vale just bought it.
Vale just bought it.
Okay.
All right.
Vale bought Vermont.
Veil bought Killington.
They also bought Seven Springs, too.
Is Bernie okay with it?
That is his date.
Is it?
Vail Bail Bermott, Vermont.
All right, let's move along.
We'll keep it on sports.
I didn't know we sold a state, though.
That's like Louisiana back in the mountain.
Oh, they bought the mountain.
Noah Kahn sings about it.
They bought the mountain.
He had a whole one.
He did.
I also saw someone DM a guy and said like, hey, FYI, I was there.
Not Real.
Don't say that about Noah.
There's no way.
Yeah, don't do that.
He sold out that way four times.
I love the guy.
I know all his songs.
I will ask him on Saturday.
We're going to go to the concert.
You're so famous.
We love that.
I'm not.
I just know.
who's friends with him.
Okay, I like that.
Take your S-B there.
AJ has a question for you.
Yeah, Pat was talking about sports.
I guess growing up, did you play team sports?
I mean, obviously skiing is, it's you out there.
You have a team around you behind the scenes,
but I guess what is that like when it's all on you, win or lose?
Hey, there's nowhere, no point, you know, fingers to point anyone else, really.
Absolutely.
I mean, it is a different vibe.
And you do have an incredible team in the support system.
But to perform on your sort of field of play alone is,
I guess there's good and bad to it
and the one sense you do have to take that responsibility
entirely on yourself in that moment
and I like that
I like feeling like I'm in control
of the outcome
but I also feel like
there's points in times where I look at team sports
and I think how incredible would it be
to carry the weight of something so big together
I definitely felt that at the Olympics
was like oh my gosh I just feel so
isolated and it took a lot to get through that and I would look at teams and be like I imagine you don't feel as isolated you know you have each other to kind of carry the weight of this but what do you do just punch a wall that's what I used to do as an isolated position Kimmer punner nobody cares about what I do I should have punched a wall yeah bad idea can we talk about what's on your wrist here what this yeah do you like it yeah I like it too got the rotating bezel yeah oh oh no
You were given a great answer.
Would you like to see it?
Here, look at this.
I can't, yeah, I mean, wow, pretty gold.
Thank you.
It's a Longine.
I just got it.
It's very nice.
You just got it?
I just got it like this spring.
Oh, let me break it real quick,
because I've got to put this on my wrist.
God, I just gonna take a couple links out.
I feel so cool.
Thank you so much, yeah.
This is not quite fit.
Did I win this?
Did I win this on a mountain or did I buy this?
Well, it, Mangeen is.
is one of my partners.
So I didn't buy it, per se.
I bought it with effort.
Oh, so that's why you wouldn't put that watch on right there.
Yeah, no, I'm sorry.
It's very nice, but I can't.
Hey, listen, you handle your business, Michaela.
Ty is a question for you.
I'm just curious, like, do you have an off season?
Because there's obviously fresh pow every year.
Like, if you want to get on a mountain, you can,
like, do you kind of just decide, like, you know what,
I just, I'm not going to ski for a couple weeks here?
Because I assume that it just goes year round, doesn't it?
It does, in a sense.
I think we really, this period of time we're in right now, like May, June, July,
it is pretty strength and conditioning heavy.
So we kind of have training camp, but like I've been traveling to Norway, to Austria.
Oh, thank you.
Yeah, no problem.
I was broken.
And just spending a lot of time in the gym and doing a lot of workouts.
All right, one of the workouts?
Legs.
A lot of legs, squats.
Bulgarian split squats, the bane of my existence.
What are those?
Can you show us some Bulgarians?
I was going to ask her to show exactly.
No.
One foot up?
I can't.
One foot. Yeah.
You've got to have a foot.
I don't have any cartilage left.
Careful.
Yeah, there you go.
Is that good for him though?
That's pretty, you got to.
That is good.
You have to get a little bit, like you got to tuck your tail.
I got tight hips.
I have tight hips.
You still got the juice, Tony.
Fuck your tail, squeeze your cheeks.
Squeeze your don't.
Yeah.
Oh, it's hot here.
Can you tell me about.
So you work out with husband there, right?
Yeah.
He also skier, I think.
When we get to be together kind of during this period of time,
then we do a lot of our workouts together.
And he's a skier as well.
He's recovering from a really bad crash several years ago,
and he cut his leg almost off,
and his shoulder was hanging on by basically skinned.
And then he got an infection in the shoulder.
So it's been like a multiple year return to racing,
and he's now feeling like he's back in good shape.
So it's really exciting going into this season.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Super cool.
He's like, what are you talking about?
Show what your leg.
You're like.
You're unreal.
No, you don't need to clap.
We're clapping for you.
It almost cut his leg off.
Yeah, and his shoulder.
Jeez.
Nnarly scars.
It was gnarly.
You guys can look, you should look it up later.
Now, he's from Norway, but he skis for America?
No, he skis for Norway.
Oh, I take back my clap.
Connor has a question for you, Michaela.
Pat mentioned the What's the Point Pod?
And I was listening to the episode of you and your mother talking about like over-commitment.
into your sport. Thank you for listening.
Of course. You guys were drinking wine and it was pretty awesome.
We listen, Michaela. We're trying to
support. You're good. Yeah. It's over. Video on Spotify
very clutch, too, because you can listen and watch.
But you mentioned over-commitment.
And how did you learn to deal with that?
I'm assuming early on in your career was tough to do stuff like this
and actually enjoy the off-season.
How did you learn to do that? Was there a certain point where it's like,
hey, this is just too much, like mentally?
Like, I have to take a break. How did that kind of whole thing come about?
I feel like I've sort of naturally grown into more of the media marketing side of things.
And the beginning of my career, I had success early on, but it's like you just, you sort of naturally grow into it.
So the first few seasons in my career was like, I was just home and working out for eight weeks in the summer.
And, you know, I didn't have to do that much travel.
And then as I got more sponsorships and sort of sponsorships grew, partnerships became a little bit big.
and maybe more time commitment.
I feel like that was a pretty natural progression,
but I've been lucky because my family was always very protective
of my time and energy and mental space.
And the team that I have, my agent, my publicist,
they've always been really, really good
about knowing what the sport demands
and allowing me the space to be able to really give 100% to that.
But it's a tough balance, because ski racing is,
like, once you're in it, you are fully in it.
There's no time.
Once August hits, I have no time to do any real promotional work or anything like that.
It's just you're going nonstop.
I mean, it's probably the same in every other sport, too, but there's not a lot of time when you're doing it.
If you want to be great.
You have to.
Yeah.
I was talking to Ashton.
Braxton.
Braxton.
Ashcraft.
That sounds a lot like ass crack.
It's close.
And I am going to tell you I don't like that because how much I like the guy.
He's first time All-Star Picking.
He could have played in the NFL.
I was talking to him.
And, you know, I told him, like, now what's going to happen is next season you're going to try to be better.
And then next season you're going to try to be better.
And it becomes this psycho obsession that the greats have.
That's what separates the grates from the good.
You don't sit complacently.
You're like always looking for the next thing.
Yeah, and it completely takes you over.
And I think that's what you were talking about that in the over-commitment stage.
And I think, but you have to.
Isn't that kind of like the part of being elite in this entire thing?
It's kind of a gift and a curse.
It's like a gift and a curse.
And if I've done something incredible, it's not really solely about the results.
It's more like if I just work a little bit harder or maybe a little bit smarter,
I find there's always something you can tweak, like nutrition, the mental work,
definitely the physical work.
And there's always new and different ways of training that come out there.
And you maybe work with a different strength coach and all of these things that you can tweak.
And then you see these improvements or maybe you see like a decline.
and then you think, oh, that wasn't the right direction,
but there's so much you can, it's like a constantly changing puzzle,
and you're always peeking around the corner,
and then as you see, like, success improve,
or you're, like, the best feeling I have is starting the racing season
and feeling strong.
Like, if you don't feel strong when you make a ski turn,
I have nightmares about it, like, trying to make a ski turn
and just completely, like, we call it stumping out,
when you just can't handle the forces.
On the flip side, like, the best feeling is,
going to do like make a run and feel like oh i've got like my leg is strong i'm good like i've got the power
yeah but nobody's watching do the bulgarian split squats right and you don't know if you've done enough
until what that first until that moment when you're like am i strong enough or not and then you get
there you're like oh yes everything paid off but yeah i mean you have to look three months down the
line or even three years down the line and think what am i doing what i need to do now in order to
feel that way when it's time to perform dan patrick question here
So I do apologize for that.
Tough.
It's a hard question.
That's what Dan Patrick was going to do to Kathy Engleberg.
Damn right.
And she's a commissioner of league.
So tough question.
Every question is tough question.
They need to talk.
Now, they do.
Maybe do a golf round.
No, I watch her out of the sand.
I think she should.
I think she was not bad, though.
The second, everybody saw the first skull.
Yeah.
And that was just practice.
I should not do the motion that I just did.
Okay, I know that.
But that is what the.
The ball did.
Yeah.
The ball did go that way.
It did.
The second one.
Beautiful.
Pure contact.
It was nice.
Nobody's talking about that.
Everybody's talking about the score.
And they won't.
Yeah, nobody's going to talk about.
She's a great commission.
Yeah.
But makes adjustments.
Well, so that's what everybody's wondering.
That's where the question's coming.
But I do hope that Dan and her get a chance to chat.
Yes.
Booking sucks.
Thank you for joining our show.
Dan Patrick question coming.
If I was to show a clip of you talking on my show to my daughter,
about her mentality or mindset and how you treat competition and, like, day-to-day being an athlete.
You know, everybody talks about the Mamba mentality.
I had a very lucky opportunity to be around Peyton Manning.
So hard work, obviously, is the basis of everybody that's ever been great.
But your mentality, what is there?
Are you trying to get better every day or trying to get better every moment?
Are you, like, a long-term thinker?
Like, what is your mentality you think that has separated you to become who you are,
which is a sixth World Cup skiing title?
One more for the record.
Olympic legend.
Espy winner already.
Probably another one coming if they do the right thing.
What is like if you had to describe the way your mentality is or mindset is what separates you from maybe others in between the ears, what would you say it was?
That I could tell my daughter.
Yeah, Dan Patrick question.
You didn't think about that.
Yeah.
We got time.
We got time.
How much time doing it?
That was a good.
That was.
I think Dan would be happy about that.
That was well done.
Good for you, man.
This one's real.
Yeah, very good.
This one's for you.
Oh, yeah.
Yes, so well put.
Geez, keep clapping.
Michaela is good.
I'm thinking about the answer.
That's true.
Really cool shoes, by the way, while you're thinking.
Mine?
Super European.
Thanks, guys.
Mentality, I think it's a little bit of improvement every day, but actually lately.
I've been thinking a lot about this motivation piece.
Like, there's kind of a misconception that the greatest that the great
are just motivated all the time.
And everybody else out there is trying to wonder
what's the key to being more motivated, more consistently.
And I actually find myself not that motivated,
probably 80% of the time.
Like, it's very rare that I'll get up out of bed in the morning
and be like, I'm so excited to go do Bulgarian split squats or whatever.
Or, like, it's very fun to go skiing,
but usually it's pretty grueling.
So I'm not, like, motivated all the time.
So I think part of my mentality,
is just working on the relentless consistency
when there's a lack of motivation.
It's more like the discipline side of things.
And if you don't feel like you're improving
every single day or every single minute,
you just know that you're kind of consistently putting in work
and pieces of the puzzle that are going to lead
to more long-term improvement.
So I do think it's maybe a bit of a long-term vision,
but it's really lately it's just been about like relentless consistency.
And if you build it?
Yeah, and you're building something.
you're building something great and great things take time.
And also meaningful things are going to come with setbacks as well.
So it's like looking at the full picture and what a beautiful opportunity it all is.
And we often focus on the wins and the trophies and the victories.
And you see this little glimpse of the spotlight.
But like just there's so much more beyond that.
And actually the journey is in this is so like, yeah, this is so cliche.
Well, I ask you a question for a potential cliche.
It is a hard, hard question.
So, cliche is normally good answers to my question.
Well, it's like what you learn in your life is on the route to get to where you're going.
Like the gold medal got me nothing.
Oh, my gosh.
But everything I did on the way is like, oh, shit, I learned so much about communication with my team and, like, and building a business and understanding what feels important and trying to take on the risk of failure and criticism that would come with that and actually say, like, I'm going to hold this in my hands and I'm going to just be one with it.
because I can't avoid the criticism if I F this up,
but, like, it's just so worth it to try.
And, like, those are the things that I get from it.
Turns out the fulfillment is in the journey.
It was in the journey all along.
Here, here.
Cheers to that.
Cheers to that.
Thank you for being an inspiration.
I don't know if you drink Jack and Diet at this time.
This is not my water, but what are you drinking?
Here's the fresh one.
This is Jack and Diet.
Get me one of those.
You want weed?
Okay.
Cheers to you
Michaela
Thank you so much for joining us
Good luck tomorrow night on winning another SB
Good luck on everything
Thank you for inspiring so many
Including my daughter
Thank you
And all the other lads daughters down there
And keep going
We very much respect and appreciate the hell out of it
Thank you guys so much
Very fun
Hey Michaela
What's the point?
The point
It's an elusive thing
It is
It is a bit of
elusive thing. On that note?
Bottoms up. Bottoms up is the point.
Okay. You said it.
Oh, oh, oh, yeah.
Very good. I said it. We're back tomorrow.
Have a good one. Goodbye.
That's how the show ended.
Thanks for doing that, Michaela.
What's the point? I don't know if I can end the show terribly.
It sounds like, uh, Michaela, you're the best.
Thanks. We're still on the internet. People will still hear you talk right now if you were saying
anything. So I don't know if you want to just get it.
Just say something.
Or just leave.
Don't kill Norwegian or anything.
You could just leave.
You could talk about how it would be much cooler if your husband would just go ahead and call himself Dan and become an American skier for us the next Olympics.
You're just recruiting everybody to feed.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we are.
Team USA.
Yeah, why not.
Thank you.
We're trying to wait. Thank you.
Yeah, okay.
You're the best.
Thank you.
Bye, guys.
Thank you.
Yeah.
You're awesome.
Thank you so much.
See you.
Take care of team.
Good luck out there.
Hope you guys win another one.
If you don't win, bullshit.
Oh, absolutely.
Okay, sounds good to me.
There's a lot of me. I don't know if you need that.
Boom, punk it. Don't deal.
All right. Put it in there.
We'll talk about the app race ski probably.
Yeah.
Yeah, there you go.
I've never really done this skiing.
I've heard it's amazing.
It's great time.
So much fun.
Vale.
We had a friend.
Tell you right.
Yeah, we had a friend, rest in peace, living legend.
Vante Davis.
Oh, yeah.
Who, I mean, I don't think I, it,
would have said, you know what, this guy's going to become an avid skier.
He really did.
Oh, yeah.
He became super.
Took you out there a couple times, right?
I feel like people do love skiing whenever they get out there to do it.
It's the best.
It scares the shit out of me.
I mean, it's a great time.
Obviously, skiing is fun.
It's dangerous.
It's speed.
It's fast as all the different things that we like from, you know, from other sports.
But I think more than the actual skiing is like, you know, just getting away,
getting away with your people, going up in a cabin, seeing mountains, the weather.
The views are crazy.
Like, you know, I love going place with water with, you.
know, seeing an ocean, an ocean front room that's typically my go-to.
But it's nothing like, you know, having those windows and seeing like those mountains out there.
Fresh power of mountains.
It's maybe a hot tub out there, but it's, it's a cabin.
It's all amazing, man.
It's incredible.
Wow.
He is the best.
Especially because sometimes you can, like, get lost on the mountain.
That part can sometimes think because you get on different lifts.
It's a huge entire thing.
But when you go up and you don't do like the hard double black diamonds, black,
black diamonds and you just do you know you just do the green circles or the blue squares you can go on
like sweet 20 minute like cruises almost like i would almost compare it to like riding a motorcycle
like like that type of so we got music and ears yeah music music and ears you got you know beers
that you can drink on the lift up when you're all smoking obviously of course i feel like that's
part of the culture innately but then yeah to what you said the appraise because a lot of these places
is it's winter.
You know, it gets dark out at four, five.
There's night skiing at eight, so they close the mountain anyways to re-groom it and everything.
I've never done it nice.
Skiing is incredible.
It's a little dangerous at night.
A little scary.
AJ, you ever ski?
For about 25 minutes.
Never got to the lift.
No, I've never done either.
My, yeah, my, we tried to go one time my youngest, yeah.
Explicive diarrhea?
No, we put him in the, you know, like the Kids Club thing to try to, he was really young.
He was really young, and we were on the Bunny Hill trying to do.
little lessons and then 30 minutes later the thing closed and they said all right and we had to leave
can't take all of our stuff so I've never skied sound like good time so I never got off the uh just the main
little bunny hill so I never even saw the lift that's a mountain kicked the hawks off what time did you go like
five at noon at noon and they didn't like they said actually he was super young and obviously he was a bit of a
tyrant at the age he was and so when he came out of the kids club they said hey we saw we closed it at two
our dude was still giving us a little family lesson on the bunny hill and I said man it'll be cool to see
wherever the lift it would even be.
And we never saw any of us.
That was my one skiing experience.
I actually did the show from the cabin when I was there.
I don't know what, I'm 20,
Wisconsin.
It was one of those states out west.
You know, Idaho.
Montana.
One of those.
They're not all the same, age.
No, they're not, but I always get mixed up.
Like there's Idaho.
Well, it sounds like it was a pretty shitty trip.
The trip was amazing.
The team was skiing's a ton of work.
Just walking with those boots on.
You don't know anything.
very, very difficult.
But I would like to go.
My brother's keys.
I still do want to go.
I wouldn't say I'm extremely motivated.
How'd Ryan Hawk do at the American Central Championship?
Oh, he did great.
He did awesome, man.
How was the Mizz's caddy?
Mrs. Caddy, they were very talkative.
I'm going to say, I hate that guy.
Okay.
Yeah, word on the truth is.
My best friend.
I called the Mizz and said,
you need to get the caddy the hell out of there.
The guy was filming.
The Mizz hits the best shot other than the chippin
that he's ever hitting his life from the hospitality area.
And I got this.
guy who's lucky as hell to be there, okay?
And he goes, oh, I guess now I'm a videographer and a cat.
Shut the fuck up, okay?
Ms. shouldn't have you there anyways.
The guy had eight double bogeys in a row.
You are the problem.
But on that note, he did chip in.
He did.
That's all we need.
I guess that gets the caddy another trip to this thing.
The caddy's a big part of the problem, I think, for Ms.
Do you think?
Well, maybe just because he, what do you want to say,
he instigates him or he makes a think,
hey, we should talk about this putt for 40 minutes,
even though we know we're not going to even two-putt.
The problem, this guy's having a blast.
I mean, I guess Ms. did win.
He got this. Look at him.
Look at that.
Wait until he screams at the camera here.
He screams at the camera.
I do, but I'm good at golf.
I am good at golf.
I am good at golf.
And then he would go on to have seven doubles after that,
double bogeys, not double jazz.
It looks great, though.
If that doesn't go in, that's going about 40 yards past the green.
Doesn't matter.
No, of course not.
Of course not.
Just say what I said about the caddy, though.
You could say the caddy is the problem.
You said the caddy.
Yeah, I would say the caddy is definitely not helping him.
Thank you.
Because more people need to tell the maze the truth.
That was a two-hopper.
He had a bunch of backspin on.
Take it back.
Walking her back.
That was a two-hopper.
It was going to stop right there.
TV just turned off in front of the desk here.
I think that's our cue.
Show the desk here.
Show the desk here, Foxy.
Yep.
Oh, that one.
Went to a loading screen.
Oh, yeah, there is.
And shows over.
All right.

Hold on, three o'clock.
Yeah, let's go.
there's a soccer game happening.
France and Spain, a big, oh, who
cares, but...
Whoa.
What?
You're talking about it?
The game of the tournament
people are saying.
What?
The top two ranked teams are the world.
Two best players are a girl.
Stop, stop.
Balloon duo.
Stop.
What was that?
It's the number one and number two team of what we're talking about, man.
You guys are the easiest people.
That's one for shoes.
Gumpy.
This is the championship.
Come on you, boy.
is not the champion.
The winner of this,
wins,
the World Cup.
It's in Bob.
A blue messy plane in this case.
No.
No.
Gumpy, will you at least find a space to speak?
Whatever, you know what I mean?
If you're coming from a different place.
Gumpi, you're our soccer expert.
So let's make sure we're not stepping on you when you're singing a song that you had
Bruce singing all night last night as he got drunk and got put into.
Started the show with it.
Re-gaged.
Yeah.
No, you're good.
Whatever.
Show's ever.
Yeah.
Thank you, dude.
Great work, though.
I appreciate you getting on that.
Gumpy, tell me why this game doesn't matter.
These are the two top teams in the world, them, Argentina, England, top four teams in the world, both semis.
I think Spain keeps the ball here.
It's going to be interesting because France has a lot of the ball in all their games.
All right.
You guys are saying the game better matter.
He is not convincing me.
He is not convincing me.
Gopi's not convinced me.
Let's go.
It was AJ.
We've been waiting for this.
I didn't do the snobes.
Just tune in just to watch France.
Fabio is going to a score for Spain.
He's plus 750.
Can you guys like Gumpy talk, please?
This is there.
It's all you be.
You guys are screaming over Gumpfrey.
Come on Gump, what is no.
You, Ty, mostly.
I'm not saying anything.
I know Gumpy.
Yeah, this is going to be a great game.
Yeah, France, Spain.
I personally, I think,
you mean, Lamol, whatever the fuck is,
I think he absolutely stinks.
Lemme.
I'm not as advertised.
What I am interested in.
Just her night.
is the game tomorrow.
I hate him.
I hate watching this guy play soccer.
Me too.
Now on the flip side?
He walks around.
Okay.
Holland, I didn't see him.
Holland's A-OK.
And I love watching.
Are you talking about me right now?
Yeah.
Holland's A-O-K.
You know these guys?
Lou messy.
Lou messy, I'm okay with it.
You can walk around however you want.
You know why?
Because he finishes.
This, I'm all kid.
Okay.
I understand he's a weapon.
Everybody loves him.
He's the best player in the world.
No, he's not.
No, he fucking lie.
Will Messi exists.
I don't know if,
I don't know if he'd start for,
U.S. I don't know if he would.
All right. Why should I like you all?
He's not fully fit right now. He got hurt at the end of the season for Barcelona.
He's kind of ramping back up. I think he will score today.
I like the Spain squad to show up today. I bet on him every fucking game to score a goal.
This guy doesn't do a fucking thing.
That's all I hear, though. That's all. He's the best player in the world. He's the best player in the world.
He's the best player in the world. You know what I see? I see a guy.
with a goofy fucking haircut.
Who cannot put the ball
in the back of the neck?
He's got braces still.
He hasn't tapped out of a game,
I'll tell you that much.
Who did that?
The guy you're rooting for.
Yeah.
You know why?
How many fucking goals did Holland score?
Seven.
I mean, yeah, that guy did that.
Where are they now?
I mean, Norway, they're staying.
You're saying Holland has a supporting cast that
your ball has?
You kid me?
He's playing with a bunch of guys who are shit painters.
and, you know, they're great players.
They've got Arsenal captain out there, dude.
They're very good.
I will say Oedegar is, he's fit and he's quality.
All right.
Okay.
The medium mall's awesome.
He's not.
He's not.
He's not right.
He's breaking in Bel-A.
I need him to.
Olin's my goat.
He's younger than Messi when he scored his first goal at the World Cup.
Cool.
We're going to talk about this guy.
And he thinks he's messy.
He's not.
Ben go.
Run.
I am sick of watching you walk around.
I hate you.
Score a goal if you're going to walk around the entire time.
This is unbelievable.
This guy needs to run.
I agree.
I need to watch.
I haven't seen.
He walks around with Messi, but he doesn't score.
He'll be up there on top.
He'll be up there on top.
He's nowhere near Messy's a wizard.
This kid.
First time he touched the ball, you'd be like, oh, okay.
Oh, that's the kid's called over.
That's him.
I see why they say.
It's a tiki-tucker game.
I almost stop.
It's much different.
But friends, that's beyond.
the ball to loo and move around. They're paying it back and forth. Now, I would like the international
people that are going to definitely watch what we just did and say that Americans don't know ball.
Yep. I would like to let everybody know they are right. And it turns out what my eye see with that
Spain team, I want to puke. I hate the way they play soccer. I can't wait to watch now.
Honestly, you've inspired me to watch. I hate it. I hate the way the Spaniards play soccer. That is what I have
decided. I think it's disgusting. I don't like it. I absolutely
hate it. On that note,
imbop. The way
they play. I like the way
they play. They play a different game.
Yeah, they play, they, yeah, it's like
respectable. They're old front
forward. It's unbelievable. Yeah, their attack, they all have it on the street.
Football's coming home, I wouldn't worry about it.
So England, I like watching England, too,
because they got a couple guys, they got Jude
and obviously
Arry.
Soccer. But their entire
team obviously knows. And then Argentina, it's like, it's messy. It's just Lou.
Yeah. So it's his last time playing for Argentina. He'll be on America and four years from now.
That happens tomorrow at 3 o'clock. Obviously it would take it. It's very quiet in here.
We were just screaming.
It's all right. I got a little heated up over you mall there.
Yeah. He stinks, though. It's not as like a player, but like I fuck that guy.
I'm going to do it. Don't do it.
As a person. Did you happen to see the bags that Shregs walked out of here with?
Oh, yeah. That's going to be me in about 10 minutes.
All right. I'm happy you got the Shreger routine down.
So some stuff, you know, in this particular position that I have,
which is a very cool one and honored to have it, you know,
kind of guiding where we head on a daily basis through conversations.
We don't have an A block, B block. We just have a list of headlines, okay,
of things that have happened. This thing could lead the show if we happen.
We happen to see it a minute before we go.
This is not like A block, B block, this entire thing.
We kind of just go wherever. You guys see this.
We're an ADHD show.
I mean, it's how it is.
Some things, though, are for the good of sport.
We're going to talk about these things, for the good of stories,
for the good of just us having the platform that we have,
and I think responsibility to people.
And there are some things that are just 100% from me.
Okay.
What we just did there was 100% for me.
That was the easiest toss just right over to this group right here
and just have a full meltdown.
Ty last night at about 2.15 a.m.
had that Yomal take,
and it was a little louder and a little bit more color,
but I'm happy you still got it here in this state of mind, too.
Because...
And I'm glad I got it out, because guess what?
I don't fucking remember saying that last.
I do.
I do.
I do it.
So I would like let the Spaniders, though.
I don't necessarily feel the way that I just said I felt.
I was trying to get one person to get going there,
and I'll tell you what, it worked.
And I'll let everyone in on a little bit.
secret. I don't necessarily
care or feel that way either.
You know what?
That's, hey, it's World Cup fever.
Yeah, we're in there. It is emotion.
Yeah, exactly. It has been
unbelievable. I'm telling you, that England game
I went to in Miami was one of the coolest
things I've ever been a part of in my life, man.
Yeah, I'm happy you've gotten a chance
to experience that. Gumpy was
down in Miami, second home, Phiz.
Obviously, has a lot of connections down there at one
particular club more so than other places.
He certainly loves that. We happen
pay for maybe a celebration for an Olympic team and now Gumpy is obviously reaping the benefits
of that. By the way, as he should.
Hey, yeah, Gumpf. Go on, Lai. Go on Lai.
Someone's got to do it. Yeah, because I can't.
There we go. Go on Lut. You should do that.
I mean, oh. Okay, that is a badge of honor. Yeah, thank you for representing for all of us down there.
And shout out to Gino and all the boys down there. But Gumpy did a yacht down there. I mean,
Oh, who showed me some pictures?
Yeah, Gumpy was living down there.
He was supposed to leave on Friday.
Okay, he was supposed to get out there on Friday.
Yeah.
And then I don't know if he was the one that found out whenever he got down there
or if one of us told him.
But England was playing in Miami like two days later or whatever from when he was supposed to leave.
And we all sort of like, hey, how often are you going to get to see your team go?
We didn't even think about England losing.
No.
And thank God they didn't.
That first goal.
It was a very good game.
Uh-oh.
Yeah, it was a great game.
And Gumpy was right in the middle of all the.
English people. And Gumpy,
it's true that as soon as the goal is scored, all
the English just tossed their
beers, right? Beer everywhere. I was just covered
in beers 108 degrees. I mean,
it was absolute chaos.
How much are those beers?
They're about 26 bucks, I think, at the
Miami Stadium there. I'm telling you,
that's the most crazy thing I've seen, because when England
scores, you do see it in the crowd. It's like, beers flying
everywhere. And it's like, that's got to be a gimmick or something
because those beers are way too expensive. It's like, nope.
Just, God just go,
hey, line, how is it?
Oh, God!
See, I always just assumed it was their piss
because they didn't want to go to the bathroom.
They would drink their beer and then piss in the cups
and then they would just throw the piss.
Well, they used their piss for mouthwash, though.
So I don't know if they would throw this in the air.
All right.
First day.
Let's get out of here.
Shout to the espies.
We might be back here tomorrow.
Maybe.
Hopefully.
It is a really nice room.
It's a really nice room.
I mean, that thing.
Shout to Hummer.
Love what you guys too.
We'll be over there at a second.
Yeah, thank you for giving us.
Can I get a better roof?
It rains in my car.
Just like that roof.
This guy says he's never heard of that.
It's an electric car.
There's no way.
I don't know if this guy's actually seen a Hummer before.
I'm just here with the bag.
He actually just said, he's a Hummer.
He said user air.
User air.
I didn't touch it, bro.
I just bought the thing.
So you would be the user.
But on that note, it is a wonderful convenience just to be able to plug that thing in and just get back and forth.
Shout out to the kids.
Shout to you guys.
Tell it to the freaking kids, man.
My daughter loves it.
How about that?
I ain't talking about your daughter.
Well, you need to maybe start thinking about her a little bit more than those other kids that you're talking about from a meme on Instagram.
Be a friend, tell a friend something nice.
It might change their life.
AJ, good to see you, buddy.
It's been a while.
Baby hoggle?
Good to be a dog.
Deba, great performance last night.
Hey, man.
It's been great, being back.
Love it.
Good shit today.
Debutt.
Debut, one, looking for Thailand.
night. All of us saw Ty get up and leave out of nowhere.
And at the game? No, at the bar last night that we kind of
commandeered and about 1.45-ish, 2 o'clockish. Ty just got up and left.
And he was in no state to probably be just by himself, Roman.
And we all took like five to 10 minutes just being like, well, we thought he went to the bathroom.
And then everybody's like, no, he just, he just left. And then Debo's, I'll go.
DeBuck gets up, goes out there. And, and he's, and he just, he just, he just left.
and Debutt disappears.
I'm like, well, we just lost Debutt as well.
So we thought everybody was gone.
Debaugh comes back and goes,
Ty found the cheesecake factory of bodegas.
I did.
And I did.
Ty came back with four bags.
He said he spent $140.
Left to go home to eat the cheese cakes.
Boral.
He had a bacon cheese burger.
Yeah.
I was concerned because he had left a freshly ordered drink.
Oh.
So that was like, okay.
But he did take his phone.
no, but he did take his phone.
The drink beer left to serve me.
You come in with five bags back from
that bodega at 2.15 a.m.
I was hungry.
And we're going to do it again after this.
You got to do what you got to do. You got to do.
Okay. Who's our pick for France, Spain? We don't have a bet.
France. France. France. Yeah, we hate Spain.
Yeah, I ain't fucking doing it again with them.
Dumpi, who do you like?
Spain to qualify.
He's scared of France. Yeah, he is.
Yeah, England.
shaking in their boots.
You need to worry about Lou
more than anything.
I don't think so.
Well, yeah, actually, FIFA will just kind of find a way
to push them through.
I heard it's a good rep for them.
We'll talk about that tomorrow.
Be a friend, tell them something nice
to my change their life.
Let's enjoy the hell out of this life.
Kinley, good work, Bob.
That's baby, Kenley.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Doug O'clock.
You want to come here?
Yeah, yeah.
You're already on a show.
You're already on camera.
You want to come here?
Doug O.
There it is.
Doug O.
Kinley, you got anything you say,
team?
bless Jesus
Hell yes
Okay
Thank you Kately
I'm gonna steal it
Amen
Yeah

We need that actually
We do
We do need that
Team on me
We'll be back tomorrow
Shout to the ESPs
Thank you for the space
I don't know
How many people we pissed off in here
But we walked in here
With people pissed off at us
Anyways

Who cares
The guy that runs this thing
Interesting guy
I hope he does a good show
He won't

Just got approved

Scott
Hey
Go on last
USA
USA
USA USA
USA
Online, have one line.
Now Gumpie is just a mere five years away from trying to pass a test.
It's a good five.
And become an American citizen.
On that note,
Gumpy has not had to learn something and then apply it since he was 17 years old.
He's fine.
He's got to start studying now.
His confidence is way too high to pass that test.
Dunpy, you have five years to try to learn about the Declaration of Independence
in the United States of America.
We should start studying now.
But on that note, you are the epitome of the American
dream, Gumpy, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself.
And shout out to the politicking that we actually had to do to do all this.
And shout to you getting approved, Gumpy.
And to, uh, and to, uh, uh, West Virginia Senator.
Yeah.
Tommy too cool.
Capito.
Oh, what's her name?
What's her name, Gumpy?
Trying to find it right now.
Oh, no.
Yikes.
Yikes.
Dumped us.
Uh, yeah.
Capito.
Senator Capito.
Senator Capito.
Senator Capito
West Virginia
Matt Gumpie
at the
College World Series
and I go
Hey what's the deal
with not being able to get this
like this is way too hard
This guy is one of one
He's the only person
I can have this job
He didn't graduate college
Okay
He could have
He could have
He went to school of hard knocks guys
This is a vaunt
He's a lot
Went to get a painter clown college
Was that the official?
Graduated with honors.
Wait, you went to PCC?
That's a top thing to sell to the American government
on why he should take a space in America
from what we found out.
Miss Capito went crazy for it.
We appreciate her a lot.
We also appreciate Senator from Indiana.
Todd Young.
Todd Young helped us in this entire thing.
We appreciate that.
And Dumpy, I'm proud of you, buddy.
it's a big day for us.
Actually, we've been very worried about it.
We thought Gumpie was about to get another 10-year band.
Like, that was real.
We could have hit him.
Yeah.
How did you hide him?
That's just how little he is.
Shave his beard, give him a toupee, a whole different guy.
Especially with his little shoes, too.
We could have just snoburn.
Thank you for everything, brother.
I appreciate it.
All right, all right.
Be friends, I've read something nice.
They could change their life.
Gumpy, we're proud of you, buddy.
We are.
Thank you, boys.
Go on life.
I appreciate you all.
Hey, any final words, Gumpy, for the entire recipes lounge here who's celebrating you a little bit?
Just a great day.
You know, every day's a great day.
But maybe this is the best day ever.
And now we're going to go have some pints with Shane O and watch some footy.
Can't get any better than this, boys.
Hate that we got to watch this Spain team on such a good day.
But I guess we will do that, won't we tie?
Yes, we will.
Well, we're not going to like it, but we'll do it.
Team on me.
Team on three.
One, two, three.
Team.
Goodbye.
