Hello, beautiful people. Welcome to our humble abode, the Thunderdom.
On this, it's wild time in the NFL Tuesday, March 14th, 2023.
The program starts now.
Much mana!
Much mana to everybody out there that's watching and listening, wherever the hell you may be.
You are the greatest humans on earth.
Let me talk about something that's happening in the NFL right now.
There are teams that are spending millions and millions.
Shout out to the Rock of Dollars
and trying to make their team good right now.
The Denver Broncos, as of 15 hours ago,
so who knows how much has really changed,
$219 million spent, okay,
in the first day of the tampering period
for the Denver Broncos.
Sean Payton said i need
fucking new everything two offensive linemen mcglinchey signs five years 87 and a half million
dollars the guarantee is not that but this is total contract numbers ben powers four years 52
million dollars remember aq told us this guy pulls a lot this guy moves a lot sean payton has a lot
of action on the run so the guards are going to get paid.
Ben Powers did that early.
Then Zach Allen comes in for $45.7 million.
Alex Singleton comes over.
Studham comes over.
And then Chris Manhart's tight end, two years, $6 million.
219 mil day one for the Broncos.
The Bears spent the second most amount of money,
and they just traded, obviously, out of the number one overall pick.
Ryan Pohl says, I need new everything.
This is an incredible time to be an NFL fan.
We're pulling for everybody.
The Colts just signed a kicker to the biggest free agent contract in history.
Let's go.
Congratulations, Mack.
How about it?
Hey, kickers make money around here.
That's good stuff.
I'm happy for him.
Big money.
I'm pumped for him.
We're all going to see what happens today.
You know, Aaron Rodgers still lingering.
The decision is looming.
What?
Trey Wingo.
It's on TV every four minutes on ESPN.
Aaron Rodgers, what's he going to do?
Aaron Rodgers, what's he going to do?
Well, Alan Lazard allegedly going to the New York Jets.
They're in contract negotiations.
There's another team involved.
Nothing's been settled. Randall Cobb
potentially being in conversation with the Jets.
People are wondering around the internet,
what's going on here?
I don't know if they're going to have enough money to be able to pay every
single human that is being alleged to
the Jets, but the Aaron Rodgers situation
has no answer still at this point. Publicly?
I don't know. Privately?
AJ would know in about an hour.
What we're saying is we have no idea either.
Same spot as yesterday.
No clue.
Same spot as Friday.
But?
Will an answer come soon?
We have no idea.
We think, we'd assume, with how everything has to kind of go.
Yep.
But that is not necessarily going to come from this particular program today.
We'd like to let everybody know that.
Because I know there's a lot of people tuning in going,
is this Aaron Rodgers Tuesday? And that's why i said it's a wild time in
the nfl tuesday when i let that thing off because we have no idea literally hands off not pestering
bothering poking prodding nope none of that hey you live your life pal if you feel the need or
want to chat with us about it cool if not do your thing we're happy for aaron if aaron's
happy with air yep amen and the retirement i guess still probably on the table although these
conversations sound like through trey wingo who has a great source yes we know he has a great
source in new york because he was the one that reported that woody johnson was hopping on a plane
to go meet with aaron before everybody else and then it kind of caught on yes it was true he's
there for 11 hours it was a whole thing and wingo has a good source we think in the jets organization
so we're taking what wingo says and being like hey that's our gospel too because we're not hearing
shit not asking for stuff seemed like it was a done deal a couple days ago definitely and then
that dove bro thought that was a news break yeah that's right gary wilson said it's like i feels
like everybody kind of has information on this and it's right. Gary Wilson said, it's like, it feels like everybody
kind of has information on this
and it's all alluding
to one thing,
but nobody seemingly
has information
on this thing
and it's still assumed
to be all one thing.
I'm excited to hear
how we've got to this point
behind the scenes
if we ever hear it,
but the world awaits
and there'll be more money
spent today.
Maybe Aaron's answer
comes today.
Maybe it doesn't.
We have no idea,
but I'm excited for the conversations
we have, not only at the Talks table here, obviously
at Boston Conner, at Ty Schmidt.
Patriots aren't doing anything.
Yeah, they're not doing anything.
Yeah, they're not doing anything, but I noticed you didn't mention
I got my lucky plum hat on.
So I expect Bill to make some sort of
fantastic move today. I'm not worried just yet.
Alright.
Shout out to the Mustangs.
Hey, go Stangs. St Shout out to the Mustangs. Thanks forever.
Roll Stangs.
We're all Mustangs here.
One half of the hammer died.
Cowboys, Tone, Diggs is here.
$219 million was spent yesterday by one team
in total contracts. That's on actual contracts.
The Bears spent like $113 million
or something like that. A couple other teams
spent a bunch of money.
New players going to new places. New quarterbacks
in a couple different places.
This obviously changed all the odds for
future bets. Funny you say that.
Before free agency started at noon yesterday,
Broncos were plus
$3,500 to win the Super Bowl.
They are currently sitting at plus $3,500.
Wow! No respect!
The Bears were plus $5,000. They're currently sitting at plus $5,000. The No respect. The Bears were plus 5,000.
They're currently sitting at plus 5,000.
The Raiders, they got quarterback.
They got Jimmy G.
They're going to change, right?
Nope.
Plus 4,400 yesterday.
Plus 4,400.
