Starting point is 00:00:00 Sup you beautiful bastards, hope you had a fantastic Tuesday. Welcome back to the Philip DeFranco Show. And a quick note before we get started, very excited to announce this. As of right now, if you go to shopdefranco.com, our newest limited edition drop is out. Right, so these are the only available for the next week, limited edition redesigns of the
Starting point is 00:00:16 One Day Will All Be Skeletons gear. We have these sleek and clean front back short sleeves. We've got the fantastic long sleeve design with that text down the arm. And of course, as always, our premium pullover hoodie. And honestly, this may be my favorite drop yet. One, to me, I think this is one of the best looking designs that we have ever released, and two, it is one of my favorite messages on any of our gear that we've ever released. Right, for those unfamiliar, this is actually something my son said on a podcast we shot, and almost everyone instantly resonated with it.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Right, it touches on that universal truth for all of us. Life is finite. One day this is going to be over for all of us. So that's why we need to live in the now. We need to be present. We need to love while we can, strive while we can really be while we can. But main point, if you want to snag one while you can, go to shopdefranco.com or just click that link
Starting point is 00:00:57 in the description down below. But with that said, welcome back to the Philip DeFranco Show. Buckle up, hit that like button, otherwise we'll punch you in the throat and let's just jump into it. And the first thing we're gonna talk about today is John Krasinski.
Starting point is 00:01:10 You may know John from a number of things. He played Jim on The Office, he's been Jack Ryan, he wrote, directed, and starred in A Quiet Place. But more recently, people have come to know him as the creator and host of SGN, Some Good News. If you're unfamiliar, it's a show where he tries to talk about the good in the world, the good news out there. A show that felt kind of like medicine
Starting point is 00:01:28 at a time where we're all feeling emotionally sick. And so this show, it would feature other people doing good onto others. It would feature him doing really cool stuff with celebrities for everyday people, charity stuff. And over the course of two months, this just blew up. Some of the episodes getting as many as 17 million views. There are over 2.5 million subscribers.
Starting point is 00:01:47 So we put these out weekly. Last week, John did the eighth in what appeared to be the final episode of SGN. You see him kind of fighting back tears at the end. It feels like this very emotional thing that everyone's kind of come together. And then what we saw at the end of the week was Hollywood Reporter reporting,
Starting point is 00:02:02 "'John Krasinski's Some Good Good News sells to ViacomCBS following massive bidding war. In this article, it claims that CBS All Access, which will be rebranded this summer and bolstered with more originals from across the ViacomCBS portfolio, will have the first window for the new episodes before they move to a number of the company's linear network.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Also saying that John Krasinski will not host the new episode. Saying a new host will be named at a later date, though Krasinski will have some sort of on-air presence. With reports noting that he'd have some sort of producer role. Right, and so following this announcement, we saw a lot of people, if not outright angry,
Starting point is 00:02:33 at the very least having kind of a bad taste in their mouth. Right, and this, and I'm trying to kind of summarize a lot of people having a lot of different feelings, seeming like that the appeal of this show is that you had John Krasinski, who of course is this big name, seemingly just kind of a down-to-earth host, just trying out of the goodness of this show is that you had John Krasinski, who of course is this big name, seemingly just kind of a down to earth host, just trying out of the goodness of his heart
Starting point is 00:02:48 to make people feel better, do good. And after, you know, these two months have passed where people have really attached themselves to John, you see this news where it's like, hey, John Krasinski, this guy that you've all of a sudden formed like an internet relationship with, he sold the thing that you really like. Also, if the reason you love this
Starting point is 00:03:02 was because he was the host, sorry, he's no longer hosting it. And also this thing that was meant to make everyone happy at least initially It'll be windowed behind a paywall now. I do want to note here regarding kind of the paywall It does appear that there's a mixed messaging in response to someone tweeting CBS All access will have the first window for the new episodes before they move to a number of the company's linear network if this is Wrong demand a retraction John Krasinski responded, hello, hello, sorry just seeing this. Nope, not CBS All Access.
Starting point is 00:03:28 That was indeed incorrect. Have a bunch of fun stuff planned with CBS Network. SGN for everyone, see you soon. And so with this story, I very much want to know your thoughts on this. Are you angry with John Krasinski? Do you see this as kind of a sellout thing? Does it make that a kind of initial feel of the show
Starting point is 00:03:43 that it's just you wanna make someone's day better feel somewhat empty because it's kind of just sellout thing? Does it make that a kind of initial feel of the show that it's just you wanna make someone's day better feel somewhat empty because it's kind of just this corporate thing now? Or no, do you think this is kind of the best case scenario? And I ask because I get both viewpoints. I feel like part of what made this special was John Krasinski was the host. John Krasinski was the guy doing this.
Starting point is 00:03:59 But then the other part of my brain goes, well, John Krasinski, he is an actor, he's a director, he's a writer. You know, this show appeared to be the byproduct of him not being able to do the things that he normally does. He was stuck at home, had a unique time to do something uniquely different.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And so, you know, there's a question of, if this deal didn't happen, is this just something that would have gone away? And so that's why this is maybe the best case scenario because all of a sudden CBS can throw money behind it, they can help it live on, potentially with Krasinski's guiding hand, at least initially. Yeah, I would really love to know your thoughts on this
Starting point is 00:04:28 because a lot of people seem to have a lot of strong feelings. And then let's talk about easily one of the most requested stories today, and that is this viral video coming from New York. Right, and so let's walk through this. What we've seen, what's been alleged, what we know, what has happened since.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Because this footage spread across social media on Monday, causing a flood of outrage. However, more information about what exactly led up to the exchange that we've seen has been shared by both parties involved. And so we're gonna take a look at all of those claims before jumping into the video itself. But just a heads up, there is a dog being pulled
Starting point is 00:04:55 by its collar throughout the video, for those of you who might wanna skip ahead. So this incident, it appears to have happened in Central Park early Monday when a man by the name of Christian Cooper was out birdwatching. Christian's saying that he approached a dog owner after he noticed her dog running free in the ramble, which is an area of thick greenery that attracts
Starting point is 00:05:09 over 200 bird species. And in a Facebook post that he made about their exchange, Christian says that he told her, "'Ma'am, dogs in the ramble have to be on the leash at all times. The sign is right there." That dog owner has since been identified as Amy Cooper, no relation to Christian Cooper, and according to his post,
Starting point is 00:05:23 she allegedly told him that dog runs are closed and her pet needed exercise. After that, he claims that he said that she could take the dog outside the Ramble to run free. She then refused. Then he allegedly said, "'Look, if you're going to do what you want, "'I'm going to do what I want,
Starting point is 00:05:34 "'but you're not going to like it.'" Right, and so on the other side of this, you had Amy telling CNN, "'I didn't know what that meant.'" When you're alone in a wooded area, that's absolutely terrifying, right? She also claims that he came out of the bushes, he was screaming at her, but Christian says
Starting point is 00:05:45 that he was actually pretty calm. Now at this point in the incident, you have Christian saying that he then pulled out some dog treats that he keeps on him to get owners to leash their pets, saying that he finds that owners hate when strangers feed their dogs, which usually prompts them to leash their animals afterward.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Now Amy's side of this is that Christian was actually throwing the treats at her dog, but Christian says that he never even had the chance to, and this is apparently when he started recording the incident on his phone. A video that he posted to his Facebook and his sister shared on Twitter where it spread like wildfire. Right, and so in this video, it starts with Amy asking
Starting point is 00:06:11 Christian to stop recording. Sorry, I'm asking you to stop. Please don't come close to me. She then tells him that she's gonna call the cops and he encourages her to do so. I'm gonna tell them there's an African American man threatening my life. Please tell them whatever you like.
Starting point is 00:06:22 The woman then begins to back away while on her phone, still pulling her dog along by its collar as it tries to break free from her. And you know, we see her repeating her claim again as the dog yelps and is trying harder to break free. Also, while this man is just kind of filming and she's trying to restrain her dog, while she's on the phone, she sounds more and more desperate.
Starting point is 00:06:38 I'm sorry, I can't hear you either. I'm being threatened by a man in the Ramble. Please send the cops immediately. I'm in Central Park in the Ramble. I don't know. Thank you. Reportedly, police eventually responded to this call and an NYPD spokesperson said that they determined
Starting point is 00:06:54 that the two had engaged in a verbal dispute. No arrests were made, no summons were issued, but of course that's not where this story ends. You know, the video goes out, it prompts a ton of outrage, people calling Amy a racist, demanding that something be done Others incredibly frustrated by her claim that Christian was threatening her life
Starting point is 00:07:08 Especially given the history of unjust treatment the black people have faced at the hands of police and civilians In fact this morning we even saw New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio calling her behavior racism plain and simple You know at the same time we saw some people saying, you know Christian should have just kind of been minding his own business as far as why he got involved I mean he told NBC News if the habitat the habitat is destroyed, we won't be able "'to go there to see the birds, to enjoy the plantings.'" Also making a similar comment to CNN, adding, "'People spend a lot of money and time planting
Starting point is 00:07:32 "'in those areas as well. "'Nothing grows in a dog run for a reason.'" As far as why he decided to record this incident, he said that he thought to himself, "'I'm not going to participate in my own dehumanization. "'I'm not going to feed into this. "'We live in an age of Ahmaud Arbery, "'where black men are gunned down
Starting point is 00:07:44 "'because of assumptions people make about black men, "'black people, and I'm just not going to feed into this. We live in an age of Ahmaud Arbery, where black men are gunned down because of assumptions people make about black men, black people, and I'm just not going to participate in that. And while Christian in general has been met with a ton of support online, Amy told CNN that her entire life is being destroyed right now. Her employer, the investment management company, Franklin Templeton, eventually caught wind of this story.
Starting point is 00:07:58 They issued a statement on Monday saying, "'We take these matters very seriously "'and we do not condone racism of any kind. "'While we are in the process "'of investigating the situation, the employee involved has been put on administrative leave. Then this morning, the company announced that it had made the decision
Starting point is 00:08:11 to terminate her effective immediately. On top of that, Amy faced a slew of criticism for how she treated the dog in the video. It's some people digging around into her past, allegedly finding other instances of her dog suffering injuries through unrelated incidents. And regarding the dog, we saw late Monday night, the abandoned Angel's Cocker Spaniel Rescue
Starting point is 00:08:25 issuing a statement saying that Amy had voluntarily surrendered the dog back into its care after adopting it a few years ago. With the rescue center also stressing that the dog was safe and in good health. We've also now seen Amy apologizing, saying she wanted to publicly apologize to everyone, saying, I'm not a racist,
Starting point is 00:08:39 I did not mean to harm that man in any way, adding that she didn't mean any harm to the African American community. That apology was also met with backlash, a number of people thinking it was also lackluster. This, including the likes of city councilman Mark Levin, who called her response totally inadequate and said it, quote, reflects no acknowledgement
Starting point is 00:08:55 that she made a false accusation, nor that she was attempting to weaponize the race of Mr. Cooper. However, it is important to note, this isn't the only apology that Amy gave. Also issuing another statement to NBC News saying, I sincerely and humbly apologize to everyone, especially to that man, his family. It was unacceptable and I humbly and fully apologize to everyone who's seen that video,
Starting point is 00:09:13 everyone that's been offended, everyone who thinks of me in a lower light, and I understand why they do. And adding, when I think about the police, I'm such a blessed person. I've come to realize, especially today, that I think of the police as a protection agency, and unfortunately, this has caused me to realize that there are so many people in this country that don't have that luxury. And regarding Christian Cooper's response, you know, does he accept this apology?
Starting point is 00:09:31 He said, If it's genuine and if she plans on keeping her dog on a leash in the ramble going forward, then we have no issues with each other. And while Christian here does appear willing to move forward past this incident, it also appears that many people online are still angry at Amy and not satisfied
Starting point is 00:09:44 with the repercussions thus far. Which is why I now pass the question off to you. What are your thoughts here? Do you think that Amy is a racist or she's a horrible person or no, do you think this is a misunderstanding that spiraled into a horrible place? Any and all thoughts on this topic that you have, I'd love to see down below.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Then let's talk about masks because there are a number of stories involving masks and it also deals with kind of the the attempt to reopen As well as rising escalations rising escalations escalating tensions. Can you tell I didn't sleep last night? So this starts with a viral incident out of Staten Island, which sounds like I'm talking about an STD a viral video There's this video out of Staten Island, New York where grocery store shoppers can be seen effectively throwing out a woman for not wearing a mask When does fast grocery delivery through Instacart matter most? When your famous grainy mustard potato salad isn't so famous without the grainy mustard. When the barbecue's lit, but there's nothing to grill.
Starting point is 00:10:35 When the in-laws decide that, actually, they will stay for dinner. Instacart has all your groceries covered this summer. So download the app and get delivery in as fast as 60 minutes. Plus enjoy $0 delivery fees on your first three orders. Service fees, exclusions, and terms apply. Instacart. Groceries that over-deliver. So the situation in New York right now
Starting point is 00:11:05 is that it is currently required that people wear face coverings when out in public in places where you cannot properly social distance yourself from others. Right, and while this video blew up over the weekend, it appears that this incident actually took place at a Staten Island shop right around two weeks ago. That shop right has also spoken out about this incident,
Starting point is 00:11:19 telling CBS News that store management actually reported the event to authorities. Also advising customers who see people without a face covering that they should notify customer service instead of taking matters into their own hands. With their statement to CBS continuing, preventing the spread of COVID-19 is a shared responsibility.
Starting point is 00:11:32 At ShopRite, we continue to adhere to our sanitation and social distancing protocols to ensure our stores remain a safe place for associates and customers to work and shop. We are all in this together and we ask for everyone to be patient and understanding during this difficult time. And you know, in New York, wearing masks is something that we've seen New York Governor Andrew Cuomo
Starting point is 00:11:48 constantly hit on, noting that at least in his state, even though they are among the most exposed, frontline workers actually have a lower infection rate, likely because they are wearing PPE. And you know, we always see him tweeting things like, be smart, masks work, in simple New York terms, don't be stupid, which I would say, you're this close to stealing my catchphrase,
Starting point is 00:12:04 but I will let it slide. But with this video out of Staten Island, we saw a whole slew of reactions. People like Alyssa Milano saying, "'Never been prouder of growing up in Staten Island.'" You also had others like Jeffrey Wright noting that, "'Even though Staten Island is the most conservative borough "'in New York voting for Trump in 2016,
Starting point is 00:12:18 "'they had a, quote, population of 476,143 people "'and almost 800 confirmed COVID dead to this point. Right, noting that if you took that number and compared it to the US population, that would be like 550,000 dying nationwide. So nah, they ain't having it. But also at the same time, you had people like Steven Crowder calling these people essentially a mob,
Starting point is 00:12:36 saying these people are the enemy. With the likes of Lisa Booth tweeting, "'People have lost their minds.'" So of course with this video, I would love to know your thoughts of if it was too much, you understand, you don't, anything. We also saw very strange incidents out of Los Angeles around this. One of those including photos from a performance artist by the name of Davida Sal going viral.
Starting point is 00:12:54 In these photos, which I can't even show you the full photos, she's standing outside of a grocery store wearing what I guess you would call a bikini made out of surgical face masks. Notably also wearing them around her ankles, her eyes, most notably not over her mouth. And then a Facebook post she titled this series, "'The New Abnormal' and wrote, "'Abnormal becoming the new normal.' She blindly obeyed. If the masks work, why the six feet?
Starting point is 00:13:14 If the six feet works, why the masks? If both work, why the lockdown?" Following that, we saw reactions like, "'Please, a ticket to Mars, please.'" A number of people also just incredibly annoyed writing things like, "'I wish this performance artists had to spend a shift in An ICU witnessing kovat 19 patients struggling to breathe She is repellent absurd entitled and ridiculous
Starting point is 00:13:33 Her stunt is an insult to the doctors nurses and patients and families of those who have succumbed to the coronavirus many also noting and questioning How wasteful she was with these masks and I will say it also feels weird and tasteless Especially because like as I'm recording this today, just in the United States, we're at over 98,000 confirmed deaths. Then we had a mask story that involves Twitter jabs between 2020 presidential candidates. All right, so as you might know,
Starting point is 00:13:55 President Donald Trump has very much, at least for himself, been team no mask during this pandemic, despite recommendations from health officials. And he's made headlines for not wanting to wear them, though it is worth noting that at that Ford plant where he was seen without a mask he actually did at one point have it on but tried to avoid letting the media see it saying he did not want to give them the satisfaction. And it also matters what the president does because a lot of his supporters look to him You know, it's something that we see when people that are going out to these beaches end up getting interviewed
Starting point is 00:14:18 I mean if he's not wearing a mask, I'm not gonna wear a mask. If he's not worried, I'm not worried. The president. Yes, sir. And during Memorial Day events yesterday, he made appearances without a mask, right? A photo of him and Melania leaving the White House, they both don't have masks. At a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, he, along with Vice President Mike Pence and others participating, not wearing masks. Meanwhile, you had former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive nominee for the Democrats in November, going to lay a wreath at Delaware Memorial Bridge, Veterans Memorial Park. And while doing so, both Joe and Jill Biden
Starting point is 00:14:45 had face masks on. And after this, we saw Britt Hume, a Fox News analyst, sharing a photo of Biden in his mask, saying, "'This might help explain why Trump doesn't like "'to wear a mask in public. "'Biden today.'" With Trump later retweeting that tweet, also sending a tweet later criticizing Biden's response
Starting point is 00:14:59 to the swine flu. Though there, of course, you had people defending Biden, saying that this is a sign of compassion and willingness to protect others. That's the thing that we've constantly heard from medical experts that the masks themselves, especially the, you know, the cloth ones that the general public are wearing, that it's more for everyone else, not you. This has also led many to sort of kind of point to the political symbol that masks have now become. We saw the likes of Vanity Fair putting out a piece titled,
Starting point is 00:15:18 Teen Trump Wants to Turn Biden into a Mask-Wearing Weenie, arguing like just about everything in this crisis, the mask has been refracted through the funhouse mirror of Trump-era politics, in which everything one does is somehow a partisan statement. And adding that Trump is touting his refusal to wear a mask as a projection of strength and bravery in his mind that distinguishes him from the weak and frightened Biden, who has campaigned from his home in accordance with recommended social distancing guidelines and wears a mask in public. But also, this comes at a time where you have politicians saying that we should not be politicizing wearing a mask. This including the likes of North Dakota's
Starting point is 00:15:48 Republican governor, Doug Burgum saying, I would really love to see in North Dakota that we could just skip this thing that other parts of the nation are going through where they're creating a divide, either it's ideological or political or something around mask versus no mask. We've also seen Ohio governor Mike DeWine,
Starting point is 00:16:01 also a Republican expressing the same sentiment. And notably with these last two, I'm focusing on the fact that they're Republicans, because a lot of people have argued that this is some sort of blue versus red issue, and it shouldn't be. And to kind of leapfrog from these mask stories, I want to talk about safety in general, and what we saw over the Memorial Day weekend. So while a lot of people were definitely careful, they were following the proper safety recommendations, we also saw videos and pictures of thousands of people at crowded beaches, parties, and other places all over the country.
Starting point is 00:16:27 People who were totally ignoring social distancing guidelines, not wearing masks, despite numerous calls from health officials at every government level. One of the most notable examples of this was this video of a pool party at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, which went viral. There we see just dozens and dozens of people packed together in a pool, no masks.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Right now it's unclear how many people were actually there, but according to reports, a Facebook event for the party, which was called Zero Ducks Given, showed nearly 400 people had attended. Right, and this party specifically was considered a big deal because it came just days after the governor of the neighboring state of Arkansas said that a similar pool party caused a new cluster
Starting point is 00:16:58 of coronavirus cases and a second peak in his state. Right, and so as a result of this video getting out there, we saw officials in Missouri just completely slamming the people who attended this pool party, with the mayor of St. Louis calling it irresponsible, dangerous, also adding, "'Now these folks will be coming home to St. Louis "'and counties all over Missouri and the Midwest,
Starting point is 00:17:14 "'raising concerns about the potential "'of more positive cases, hospitalizations, "'and tragically, deaths.'" It's just deeply disturbing. The St. Louis County executive also slammed the move, saying in a statement, "'The risk of contracting COVID-19 is exponentially increased. This reckless behavior endangers countless people
Starting point is 00:17:29 and risks setting us back substantially from the progress we have made in slowing the spread of COVID-19. With him also announcing that the County Department of Public Health issued a travel advisory in response to this video and is reportedly urging anyone who traveled to Lake of the Ozarks or anywhere else over the weekend
Starting point is 00:17:42 while ignoring health recommendations to self-quar quarantine for 14 days or until they test negative for COVID-19. Which of course they will definitely do because they are considerate and responsible adults, said nobody. And here's the thing, while that was the most viral example
Starting point is 00:17:55 of people defying coronavirus guidelines over the weekend, it definitely was not the only one. Videos of a pool party at a club in Houston circulated on social media. Also as a result of that, the mayor of Houston announced that authorities will start enforcing capacity limits for bars and restaurants.
Starting point is 00:18:07 This, also coming after the city reportedly got hundreds of complaints alleging violations, though the mayor's office did say that the videos of the pool party helped prompt the decision. Also other examples include North Carolina, where a video showed tons of people packing the stands at the Ace Speedway season opening. According to reports there, one of the owners of Speedway
Starting point is 00:18:22 said that 2,500 people attended. Also saying that social distancing was recommended but not enforced and that hand sanitizer would be provided. But notably, he didn't say anything about masks. Also, a really important thing to note about the Speedway event is that there are actually restrictions in place for outdoor gatherings in North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Under Governor Roy Cooper's second phase of reopening, the state currently limits outdoor gatherings to 25 people. But according to reports, the county sheriff said that he would refuse to enforce what he called an unconstitutional law. But definitely, some of the biggest crowds we saw over the weekend were on beaches and boardwalks. Some of the most jarring pictures that circulated
Starting point is 00:18:52 showed crowded boardwalks in Ocean City, Maryland, and Venice Beach in California, as well as photos of crowded beaches like Newport Beach in California. But, some of the most crowded beaches, unsurprisingly, were in Florida. Some of the big standouts there, you had Pensacola Beach, one of the places where we saw the largest crowd
Starting point is 00:19:06 was Daytona, Florida, where the county beach safety deputy chief told reporters, "'Without a doubt, this is one of the busiest weekends "'I've seen in many years. "'We have 47 miles of beach in Volusia County, "'and every bit of it has crowds.'" Also in Daytona, specifically, there was an event called Orlando Invades Daytona.
Starting point is 00:19:20 It was scheduled, but then canceled after request by the police department. Still, even after it was canceled, hundreds of people still showed up, dancing in streets and on top of cars near the boardwalk. At one point, reportedly, a man began throwing money from a car, causing a huge cluster of people into traffic jam.
Starting point is 00:19:34 And once again, like we've seen elsewhere, that the county Daytona is in has strict regulations on group gatherings, which are limited to 10 or fewer. But unlike North Carolina Speedway, the lack of enforcement wasn't due to a lack of will. But as the Daytona mayor explained, it's just not feasible with the amount of law enforcement they have. Saying you got 300 to 500 people per law enforcement officer. It is a tough order. Alright, so apparently there is the real world truth of, well they can't arrest all of us.
Starting point is 00:19:56 And ultimately where I'll end this story, and really I guess just kind of this general section. I am worried that when people see the easing of restrictions, it's giving them a false sense of security. Right, once again, for us to understand the situation we're in, even with large chunks of the United States issuing stay-at-home orders, ordering people to self-quarantine to be incredibly safe, we are set to hit the huge and horrific milestone of 100,000 deaths in the United States.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Right, almost one out of every three people who has died from COVID-19 is an American. And even as more and more states ease more and more restrictions, one recent study found that 24 states still have epidemic level spread. Also, according to reports, cases are still trending upwards in at least 17 states.
Starting point is 00:20:32 But in places where restrictions have been rolled back and there are no enforceable executive orders, authorities have said that there's not much they can do. Meanwhile, you still have the top health officials in the country still warning that social distancing and masks are absolutely necessary. That's something that Dr. Birx hit on while speaking to ABC this week on Sunday
Starting point is 00:20:46 about the large Memorial Day crowds. And so we really wanna be clear all the time that social distancing is absolutely critical. And if you can't social distance and you're outside, you must wear a mask. And I say this as someone understanding, we do need to gradually reopen. And when I see people out with masks
Starting point is 00:21:03 practicing social distancing, right, keeping that space, I don't get annoyed, right? There needs to be a smart way gradually reopen. And when I see people out with masks, practicing social distancing, keeping that space, I don't get annoyed. There needs to be a smart way to reopen. But when you see that, what you hope is an outlier situation, there's hundreds of people shoulder to shoulder, no mask, that is infuriating and incredibly concerning. How many times are we gonna have to see that story
Starting point is 00:21:18 of someone saying, don't do what I did in relation to not taking the situation seriously? I guess like with everything, it's always something that happens to other people until it happens to you and yours. Yeah, that's a story as it is now. We'll have to wait and see what happens next. And of course I pass the question off to you.
Starting point is 00:21:32 What are your thoughts on this? And that is where I'm going to end today's show.
