And then there's more we gotta dive into in just a minute,
but first let me thank a sponsor and say, you know,
August is a great time for a reset before fall gets chaotic
and my closet, it could use some adult supervision.
That's where today's sponsor, Quince comes in.
Quince makes fewer better pieces from premium materials
the things you'll reach for constantly.
And I really like their staples like organic cotton teas
and Mongolian cashmere sweaters
at work all day and into the evening.
Or basically clothes that make you look put together
without looking like you spend an hour planning it.
Their denim and Taylor Chino start at 60 bucks
with a fit structure and quality
that you'd expect from a luxury designer brand.
And then you've got things like the cotton,
silk short sleeve crew neck sweater. I've been wearing that thing everywhere.
Though even that is when I'm not living in their performance tanks.
Both are incredibly soft, they're comfortable, but also polished enough that I still feel,
you know, put together without trying too hard. And personally, as someone that just, I love a deal.
I love that everything at Quince is price 50 to 80% less than similar brands.
They work directly with ethical factories and cut out the middlemen so you're paying for quality
and not brand markups. And, hey, while you're at it, they have hotel quality,
bedding, bath essentials, cookware, luggage, and travel must-haves. Basically,
Quince is the affordable elevated one-stop shop.
So, hey, upgrade your every day by scanning that Q's.
or going to Quince.com slash Defranco for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns.
And they're now available in Canada and the UK as well. So that's QI-N-C-E.com slash DeFranco.
Quince.com slash DeFranco.
One of YouTube's biggest gaming and family creators just streamed a deeply disturbing video calling
his entire family demons that's left fans horrified. We go inside Trump's DOJ hiring conspiracy
theorists, election hackers and lawyers with some truly bizarre histories.
What a lot of people are missing about Hollywood skewering tech billionaires this month?
and why Andrew Tate's getting hit with beastiality accusations.
We're talking about all of that and even more on today's brand new Philip DeFranco show
you daily dive into the news, starting with this.
One of the most requested stories today kind of came out of nowhere on the text line.
Let's talk about this tragic and scary situation with Duddy of FGTV.
And if you don't know or you're not familiar because we're all in our very specific online bubbles,
FGTV is this massive family gaming and vlogging empire led by Vincent and Samantha Carter,
aka Duddy and Moomy and then they're four kids.
And they have over 25 and a half million subscribers and their main.
channel alone with millions more across other affiliated channels and social media accounts.
And while a lot of the family content, it's usually centered around gaming.
Dutty, he also regularly makes posts about Jesus, God, and Christianity kind of more broadly
on some of the accounts that focus more specifically on him.
But then yesterday, he made some very, very concerning comments on an Instagram live and
a series of stories that have been since re-upload.
So you have him saying that his real last name is actually Pampina and that people were trying
to clone him.
No, I'm not a clone, guys.
I'm telling you that they're gonna...
This is the real me?
And they're gonna clone me.
They're gonna clone me because Jesus is coming back, I think, really soon, guys.
I think really soon Jesus is gonna take people and they're gonna go missing.
And then when they go missing, there's gonna be a doppelganger.
You then have him going back to talking about God and Satan and then asking some people to record a story telling people to have posted everywhere and at it.
I probably shouldn't be driving, to be honest.
But I have to post this because if someone,
Something comes out in the news and somebody says that I did something and they said I went crazy,
I'm not suicidal and I need everybody to take this really serious right now because no one around me is actually helping me.
And then after that, he says that Jesus saved his life.
He claims that Islam is part of the Antichrist's plan, but that he loves Muslims and suggests that some of the news that we see might not be real.
Then also he says this and this has been kind of the thing that a lot of people understandably have been honing in.
But I don't trust my family any longer.
I don't trust Alexis.
I don't trust Mike.
I don't trust Chase, Sean, or Samantha.
Want to say, without a doubt, that my family, my whole family, everybody in it, they're all the devil.
They're all demons.
And I know you guys are going to think I'm crazy.
But I want you to look up Chad Doorman.
I want you to look up Chad Doorman.
look up Chad Doorman, who killed his three kids. And Chad Doorman said, Chad Doorman said that God told him to kill his
children because he saw a Bible verse about Abraham sacrificing Isaac. And so he went home and
killed his kids because the devil can use anything. And the greatest trick that the devil ever played
was that he didn't exist. And I know.
that, I think these stories are probably gonna end in like cops coming to get me.
And so when I go missing, guys, if you see another meat come out, it's not me.
So he says the name of his kids, he's talking about his family and the man that he's referencing there, right?
Chad Dorman.
There's a real guy who killed three young sons and claimed that he did it for God.
It's a pretty fucking scary thing to reference.
But then also after that, he continued to insist that he was in a sound state of mind.
Pay attention, I need everybody to record this and post this all over the internet.
This isn't a joke.
And Duddy's not having a mental breakdown.
People are gonna say, oh, it's religious psychosis.
All I know is somebody's gotta believe me.
That my family's the devil, they're the Antichrist,
and the tribulation is probably about to happen.
Also, you haven't repeatedly saying that there are impostors among us,
and he floats various conspiracies.
Remember the game, the video game, among us?
There's an imposter among us.
What if that was a real...
What if that was real?
I don't know, we gotta weed out,
because there's imposter's among us, guys.
Every person who ever did anything wrong is going to heaven
because there's an actual upside down to this world.
What if stranger things was real?
Could it be that we don't remember the bad things that we do?
Like the really bad things or whatever?
Because our bodies are actually being, I don't know.
Body swapped.
Soul snatching.
Lizard men.
all these things, right?
And then there's a lot more talk about Christ,
scripture, church, and various religious references
that kind of seem incoherent and disconnected.
I think all religion is false.
Except for, I believe that there's a God and it's found in Jesus.
And my car is literally surrounded in blood.
Go ask a witch because they travel through dreams
and they see children sitting in blood
and they're not allowed to touch them
because the parents prayed and pleaded the blood of Jesus over the children.
And so all in all, just very concerning and scary stuff.
And so understandable,
you had a lot of people online expressing their concern for Dutty,
or with many saying that he seems to be going through religious psychosis.
Also others arguing that it looks like he might be on drugs
with some noting how he's moving his mouth.
Another thing people have been noticing, including me,
is his jaw and how it's twitching everywhere.
I'm not going to make any blatant statements, of course,
but it definitely seems like he's on something.
If anybody knows anything about Coke,
your jaw twitches a ton while you're on it.
You then also saw a lot of people expressing concern for the safety of the family.
So I'm saying someone needed to call the authorities
because he posed a real danger to himself and others.
But then also, and I'm not gonna feature them here,
because this is the internet.
You had a lot of people posting edits making fun of it.
But then as far as the family, you had Duddy's wife, Samantha,
actually making a post on Instagram where she confirmed that she and her family are safe and then added.
My husband is currently okay, and right now our main focus is our family
and making sure our children are protected and supporting.
And saying, I understand to some people what is being posted may seem like entertainment,
gossip, or something to watch from the outside.
But for my children of me, this is real life.
We are living through what feels like a nightmare right now
and seeing such a painful situation continue to circulate online
only makes an already difficult time even harder.
Samantha asking at the public give her family privacy and grace and concluding,
you're taking things one moment at a time and trusting God to carry us through.
Well, obviously, many, including a lot of their fans,
are going to keep their eyes on this situation.
I also think that whenever we talk about a situation like this on the show,
it can serve another purpose.
And that can be a reminder to check in on your family and friends.
It can also be a reminder to check in on yourself.
And it can serve as a reminder that there are resources out there for you and them.
So if you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis,
you can call or text the 988 suicide crisis lifeline.
And also for more long-term needs, check out NAMI.org or S-A-H-S-A.gov.
And then, of course, always call 911 first if there's any kind of life-threatening emergency.
Right, and then jumping from this big online conversation to another, we've got to talk about Hollywood's favorite supervillets.
And that's because, at least right now, they're not the fictional kind.
They are the very real and for many, very hateable tech leaders.
And part of the reason you're seeing this play out is there are these four scathing new movies and documentaries about tech CEOs that are getting a lot of attention.
And then with that, they're sparking interesting observations and conversations around the zeitgeist and the attention.
between the entertainment and tech industries.
So I will say personally, I have a bit of my own take on this
that I'll add on to the end.
But you've got artificial.
That's the biopic starring Andrew Garfield as OpenAI, CEO, Sam Altman.
You're also getting the social network sequel,
the Social Reckoning this time starring Jeremy Strong
is Facebook founder and meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
And then as far as documentaries, you have Musk,
which is a four hour long takedown, Elon Musk,
who of course is the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter.
And then finally, at least for this conversation,
you have the very highly anticipated Nathan Fielder Dock,
you can see everything,
which is about Theranos founder, Elizabeth Holmes.
Right, and the previews that are out there for this movie, they give you kind of a good sense of how these people are being portrayed as cartoonishly evil and, like, sociopathic.
Industries are going to collapse.
And we get to be the ones to shepherd people in to this new world.
Enough!
People can post what they want.
We're not the rest.
We're the public square.
This is a car that lies to you about what it's doing.
As a result, a young woman lost her life and a young man was forever injured.
Twitter is the place where Elon can tell his side of history.
I don't have anything to deceive you on. Of course, I'm not deceiving you.
I'm engaging with you as a human being.
Hmm? Why would I deceive you?
I especially love that last clip, if not just for it, it's also the memes we've seen around it.
Well, the number of these films are highly anticipated as far as, you know, how the tech
industry is reacting to it. You have Politico reporting that they're just kind of unbothered.
With, for example, a founder of a left-leaning tech lobby group,
describing the industry's reaction as a collective shrug and saying,
they put their blinders on and focus on shipping product, on not losing their edge.
Also, you know, some of the subjects of the films, they do seem fairly bothered.
And so, for example, you had Altman giving a snarky reaction to CNBC saying,
I did see the movie trailer.
I mean, it looks like an awful movie, but I appreciate people's creativity,
and I really do support that.
And as far as Musk, he called the doc about him a hit piece, and then Zuckerberg.
He hasn't commented on the sequel yet.
And of course, you have these movies and docs coming at a time where you have a new,
terrifying headline about technology playing out literally every day.
Lots of them, of course, having to do with AI, whether it's the ongoing possibility of human extinction conversation, a new instance, an agents going rogue and hacking into something important, or the AI company CEO is admitting, hey, we have very real concerns and actually begging government officials and organizations for regulation.
All while, you've got polls out there, like a recent CNN poll showing that a large majority of Americans say that they are more concerned than excited about AI.
And then you have this fresh wave of AI anxiety coinciding with new headlines about the very serious risks of social media use.
Because there was that major meta-lawsue where they settled with 47 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territory.
where they agree to make changes to their products over social media addiction claims.
And that of course, as Met has been getting heat for the ray-band glasses,
which many are calling pervert glasses.
So then again, with all that you have people talking about how this wave of movies
it reflects Americans growing resentment toward the people at the helm of these companies.
Right, and as Mark Casson, a filmmaker and co-founder of the Civic Engagement website,
a starting point put it, the on-screen villains changed based on what the pervasive fear is.
The fact that a handful of extraordinarily wealthy people could have all the technology
that could control all of society and dole out our futures to us as they see fit is a fair fear.
And these films all play on that.
And while a number of these, they could be huge hits,
the story is also, I think, a little more complicated.
Because while clearly, there is a lot of interest
in a number of these stories, you've got tech leaders
making these films, one, more and more difficult to get made.
Right, I mean, one example being artificial,
that movie was originally said to be distributed
by Amazon MGM Studios, but then Amazon dropped the film in June
saying that it would, quote,
be better served if it were released by a different studio,
which I'm sure just has nothing to do
with Amazon's massive partnership with Open AI,
the subject of the movie.
And also for a while, it was unclear
if there would be an international release of must,
because there was a domestic premiere set
for October 9th,
but no international release date as of mid-September.
So you had that, along with the report
that Universal Pictures, which holds the films
overseas distribution rights might not release it.
And Musk's attorney apparently sent director
Alex Gibney a quote, frosty legal letter.
So there appears to be more going on
than a bunch of people that don't care.
Ultimately, artificial was saved by a smaller distributor,
neon and the international release of Musk
is now going ahead as planned.
And so with all that, I think the final thing,
it kind of comes down to two things,
though it's all connected.
One, I think that the timing of these movies
is very interesting.
Are we talking October releases
just ahead of the November 3 election?
So obviously if you're talking about something that might help public opinion or change public opinion or have some sort of short-term impact, that potentially is there.
But then also, too, I think the timing of these movies is interesting because they're coming after another movie that seems to comment on these types of movies, and that is Digger.
A movie that largely the critics skewered as far as public opinion, that's kind of all over the place.
I personally love the movie.
But without ruining it, I would say it's a movie that critiques movies like a few of these that are coming out.
We're proposing a narrative that, hey, these movies, these pieces of entertainment, they can be cathartic.
But also do they largely just placate us where we get to point to a thing and go, yeah, we got them.
Meanwhile, the people with the power, meanwhile, the billionaires, they continue doing what they're doing to us and the world.
These pieces of entertainment, they often end up not actually being vehicles for change, but things that kind of just keep things the status quo.
So in a certain way, it not only ends up criticizing satire, but people that consume it and then do not take action.
So actually, if there's any way that I can end this piece, it's going to be, let's say, two things.
I don't want to turn this into a...
This could be a video on its own.
One, for the immediate short term,
hey, the election is less than a month away.
Early voting's happening in a number of states.
Look, here's your little cheat sheet.
You can pause and get that for yourself.
Go to vote.org, make a voting plan.
Find out where to vote.
Do all that goodness.
Get people to go out with you.
And with that vote all the way down the ballot
because everything matters, yes, nationally,
but also hyper-local.
Two, if you want to have some of the most meaningful impact,
start local.
Whether it's working with local organizations,
like a food bank of some sort,
whether it's running for hyper-local office.
Those local offices, y'all,
are so important. You might not think you're qualified. I've seen a lot of the people that are running,
especially on the other side. There's, there's a lot of unqualified people there. I've met a lot of
you. You suffer from being so smart that you have reasonable concerns about yourself and not like a crazy
I'm better than everyone mindset. Your local communities, your states, your country need you. And or you can
group together and support those people. Whatever you have, your time, your skills, your money,
your like my whole thing is, hey, I'm in my opinion, no one's special. But I do have the ability of having a
wallet and also having a spotlight to point of things. I'm very fortunate but things do not change unless
we do it all together because you can't just count on the people that are in privileged situations.
I've met a lot of them, some good, some bad. There are a number of them that are more than happy
to pull the ladder up behind themselves. And all of this because it's the two things I say the most
on this show these days. Unfortunately, it can't just be, don't be stupid, stupid anymore.
You may not fuck with politics, but politics will fuck with you. So be the change you want to see.
And then there's a lot more we got to dive into in just a minute, but two things really quick.
One, if you haven't yet, hit this video with a like, make sure you're subscribed with all notifications turned on.

This is a paid ad. But then, Devin, right back into the news, when you go to the polls to vote next
month or your vote and early, there's actually a pretty good chance that you're going to be
watch. And that's because you've got Trump's DOJ plan to send a thousand election monitors to
polling sites in all 50 states. And while you've got Todd Blanche insisting that it's totally legal and
normal, you've got the NAACP suing his department writing.
To be clear, there is no federal statute that gives the U.S. Department of Justice the right
to send their so-called election monitors to polling sites across the country,
and this administration has made clear its intent to disrupt and interfere with the way elections are run in our country.
Today, my focus with you isn't on that story as much as the woman behind it.
Harmeet, Dylan, she's the head of the Justice Department's once-famed civil rights division.
Because ever since Trump's people installed her early last year, upward of 300 non-political
career employees have left the division.
And that's under Dylan's leadership at pretty much 180 on its original mission,
dropping many ordinary civil rights cases and instead going after schools for alleged anti-white discrimination.
And then Dylan attempted to fill its depleted ranks, hiring 126 new lawyers,
declaring that she was revamping a division that had been dominated by liberals for far too long.
Now you've got the New York Times taking a look at some of these people's backgrounds,
and surprise, surprise, some of them are fucking nuts.
You've got conspiracy theorists, partisan warriors, people with few relevant qualifications,
and even convicted criminals.
So if we just take a quick stroll through this gallery of weirdos, we'll start with Exhibit A,
James Breslo. He's a former business lawyer and gambling executive who's now helping the DOJ
sued the UCLA's medical school for anti-white discrimination. And if for some reason that name sounds
familiar, it's probably because he's hosted a podcast called Hidden Truth. Epstein is Luciferian.
Who killed John F. Kennedy and why? January 6th, yeah. We may learn that this was an Antifa plot.
Bio labs in Ukraine. The pandemic was a stealth biological weapons attack on the U.S.
At my law firm, I used to defend companies on race and sex discrimination cases.
And I used to say that, you know, really, you shouldn't need these protections.
You shouldn't need these protections from government.
If a business chooses to have a business that serves only whites, well, good luck to you.
Let's see how you do.
And then moving on to let's call it Exhibit B, you have gun rights activist Barry Arrington,
who heads a new Second Amendment unit.
Though before that, he made his name as an opponent of the theory of evolution and same-sex marriage.
And then last year, he convinced the Supreme Court to strike down Colorado's
ban on conversion therapy. The next step for Exhibit C, you've got Peter Feynman, a former lawyer from
Florida who's now senior counsel for the Civil Rights Division. And in 2021, he accused Michigan's so-called
diabolical governor Gretchen Whitmer of forcing citizens to get the mark of the beast by which he meant the COVID
vaccine. He also claimed that January 6 was a false flag operation orchestrated by liberals and then compared
them to Nazis writing. Trump voters, unlike the German citizens who kept silent in the 1930s,
have guns. Then for Exhibit D, there is Khalil Quinnin, who's handling criminal cases for the DOJ.
But last year, he was forced to quit the Florida State of Terminal.
Bernie's office after botching the murder trial of OnlyFans model Courtney Clennie.
Or with the judge ruling that he viewed and shared iCloud files explicitly marked
as privileged communications between the defendant's family and their defense lawyers.
Then you have Exhibit E, Daniel Flickinger, who was also forced to resign from his law firm
and disgrace after he made a Facebook post in June of 2020, right after George Floyd was killed with it reading.
Things I think about.
If I were a seven-time felon with my most recent prison stint stemming from robbing and holding
a pregnant woman at gunpoint in her home, would I choose to die in a fentanyl and methamphetamine
numb strangulation if it meant being worshipped in a nationwide funeral and my family receiving
millions of dollars, purely hypothetical. And then the next few exhibits, they pertain to people who
are working on cases for the civil rights division related to voting and elections, which is an
especially controversial area because critics see them as basically just helping Trump undermine
the electoral process. So the first guys you've got are William Mormon and David Michael Levin,
both of whom you can see in this video from August. It's the day of Minnesota's primary
elections and they're seen approaching a polling place while a local election official warns them
to stay back because legally they're not allowed inside.
I'm assuming you don't want to interfere with our ability to check for your compliance
with him the law.
Oh, not at all.
And that's why, see, this is where the buck's not gonna stop.
I have somebody, I can call the you I talk to,
like if you have more questions.
I'm just telling you what I know.
And as it turns out, before this, Mormon,
he was a lawyer for Minneapolis police officers
who were charged in connection with the murder of George Floyd.
So you know, exactly the guy you'd want
for the Civil Rights Division.
As far as Levin, well, he's a criminal.
Right back in 2015, 2016, as a political stunt,
he hacked into the election system for Lee County, Florida, twice.
But I'm then pleading his felony down to a pair of misdemeanors
and then doing three weeks in jail
in two years of probation.
Though more recently, he's been accused
to shady stuff again because of his connection
to a company that provides customer leads
to insurance companies.
Where with the clients, he and his wife
were providing unusable leads,
and judges in that case repeatedly reprimanded them
for not turning over documents
and ignoring court orders, rules and procedures.
And in fact, as recently, as of August,
the court made him pay over $200,000 in damages
and lawyer fees for engaging in fraudulent misrepresentation
and civil conspiracy.
Then next up, you've got another guy working
on election cases for the DOJ being David Vandenberg,
a former assistant district attorney
in El Paso, Texas.
So also, you had his former supervisor telling the times that he was hot-headed in the workplace,
once berating a coworker or a copier dispute, and once chiding a court official, which got him
barred from the courtroom. And when she was asked whether the DOJ should have hired him,
his supervisor said, no, hell no. Oh, and then also, he is facing charges of animal neglect,
and last year, a mother sued him for deliberately sidest wiping her car, flashing his DA's badge,
and then fleeing the scene in a hit and run. And then, last but not least, we have Eric Neff,
who is leading the entire voting section for the DOJ's civil rights division. Or with his thing,
being that he got suspended from his work as an LA prosecutor because he allegedly
botched a case having to do with elections. You got him charging the executive of a software
company for restoring poll workers data on a Chinese server, but his bosses ended up having to yank
the indictment and pay the company $5 million for his settlement. Still, you're that whole case becoming
a flashpoint for conservatives alleging that there was some kind of election rigging conspiracy
involving China in 2020 and so that's how Neff seemingly came to hold power in the DOJ.
So yeah, fun story in times, right? Just thought you should know.
Right, but then also, like the insanity we're seeing it doesn't stop with one division. It extends to the
the entire DOJ and even the FBI.
Right, you've got Trump and his goon seemingly ordering both to violate the Constitution over
a TikTok video.
Right, one of the things I'm talking about there is about this new whistleblower report from
the former FBI intelligence analyst Jill Fields.
Right, because you have Fields saying that she was reassigned from the cartel squad in the LA
field office to work as oversight on investigations related to the anti-ice protests across
the country last year.
And in her complaint, she said that there were two separate incidents where either the White House
or DOJ officials pressured FBI staff to open investigations into people protesting ice.
And that's a key thing.
All they were doing was
And so in one of the examples, she said that Trump saw a video on TikTok, a protesters outside of LA,
using megaphones to tell people about their rights and give warnings if ICE agents were around.
And according to the report, you had Trump seeing that, getting pissed, and ordering FBI director Cash Patel
to have the LA Field Office open an investigation into those protesters specifically.
And you had Fields also saying that another FBI official told her that in a meeting with Patel,
they were told, quote, Trump was angry about the incident and he wanted those protesters investigated and arrested.
And so just to be clear, right, this is a key thing.
it is both illegal and against Bureau policy to open investigations and do protesters solely for First Amendment activity,
which does include peaceful protest. And these were, according to Fields' report,
peaceful protests saying that a preliminary review by the FBI found that the protests from the video,
quote, never crossed the line into impeding arrest or being a threat. But then even after they reached that conclusion,
Fields said that she and other agents were told that the investigation would continue because Trump wanted it done.
Right. And then you have this other incident where then acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove is said to have ordered FBI leaders in L.A.
to investigate any anti-ice or CBP protesters demonstrating at federal buildings in the city.
And again, despite that being super fucking illegal.
Ziuavield saying that she took her concerns outside of her chain of command and was then promptly reassigned.
Or with the report saying that it seemed like a retaliation move, which, according to Fields,
created a chilling effect within the workforce by signaling to other employees that raising constitutional or legal concerns could carry professional consequences.
So she quit and she wasn't alone in that.
According to her complaint, at least one other senior FBI official in charge of privacy and civil liberties matters was upset with the investigation.
and said that she planned on resigning.
Right, and then, the reason that we know about any of this is because a Democratic Senator Alex Padilla,
who included the report in a letter to Cash Patel and Attorney General Todd Blanche,
demanding answers to a whole list of questions.
Right, saying that Fields' complaint shows that both the DOJ and the FBI are willing to start
investigations simply at the request of the White House or Trump loyalists,
disregarding all of the red flags from senior staff or even agency policy and the Constitution.
And adding that both Blanche and Patel promised in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee
not to pursue political investigations in this report, it calls all of that into question.
And in addition to that, it raises,
even more concerns about other investigations that have been open during their tenure.
Right, how many other people have been unconstitutionally looked into for simply exercising their rights?
Now, with all this said, for their part, the DOJ and FBI have dismissed the report as a political attack,
saying the DOJ and FBI have a responsibility to investigate any potential violations of federal law
and conspiracies to impede federal law enforcement and assaults on federal officers or against the law,
saying violence is not protected by the First Amendment,
politically motivated attacks will not deter us from doing our job.
And that was also something that we saw echo through several official statements.
Again, despite the fact that none of the demonstration,
cited in fields his complaint seemingly involved any violence.
Right, and then, from that, there are three more stories we gotta talk about today,
but first, a quick break from a sponsor.
My dogs have exactly two qualifications for food.
Does it smell interesting, and can they inhale it before I fully put the bowl down?
Which means nutritional standards are apparently my department.
And that is why I'm happy to have Sundays for dogs sponsoring today's show.
Sundays makes real dog food with human-grade ingredients like real meat, organs, and superfoods.
It was created by a veterinarian who wanted dogs to get high-quality nutrition
without requiring their owners to suddenly become full-time canine meal preppers.
And while I love my dogs, I'm not giving up half my freezer and spend in Sunday night portioning out tiny gourmet dinners.
And Sundays is so easy because it's air dried into these jerky-style pieces so there's no refrigeration, no freezer, no prep.
You literally just scoop it into the bowl and you're done.
And more importantly, my dogs genuinely love it, which is great because dogs are brutally honest restaurant critics.
So they get something that they're excited to eat and I get food that I actually feel good about giving them every day.
And Sundays can support healthy digestion, shiny your coats, fresher breath, and steady energy without synthetic preservatives or sketchy byproducts.
Just high quality ingredients without making feeding your dog unnecessarily complicated.
Say, hey, scan that QR code or go to Sundays4Dogs.com slash Phil 30 to get 30% off your first order.
Your dog gets better food, you get zero meal prep.
Everybody wins.
And then for your final block of news today, let's talk about more news you need to know slash you might have missed.
It's the first step, we've got to talk about Krista Pike.
Right, because now days after her being hospitalized from her botched execution, she's now conscious and speaking.
And specifically, you had her doctor saying that she's been communicating in a basic way.
Also adding that she has some memory of being in the hospital, but he doesn't think she remembers the execution attempt at all.
She's also reportedly dealing with some severe damage to her arms, but she's also been taken off the ventilator.
And ultimately, you have her doctor calling this whole thing medically unprecedented and adding that her prognosis is still unclear,
but he does expect a long recovery.
And as far as what went wrong with the execution, we still aren't fully sure.
Or we know that medical experts were concerned about her small veins, as well as a blood disorder that she has,
that could make fluids leak into the surrounding tissue in her arm instead of the vein itself.
But for now, that just ends up being the best lead that we have so far.
And so then with that, you'd Governor Bill Lee, putting on hold executions in the state last week, hoping to get more answers there.
Also, you had her lawyers in court today asking that the Tennessee Department of Corrections be required to preserve any evidence related to what could have gone wrong.
And there you have some people saying that could be the first step in a future lawsuit.
But then also, some think that might not be where it ends with people putting pressure back on Governor Lee to commute her sentence.
So there, I'll say it doesn't seem like he's budging.
But he had already denied her clemency request days before the execution was scheduled.
And then after it failed, you had him saying,
the people of Tennessee have determined that capital punishment is the appropriate sentence for the most heinous of crimes.
And adding it, they expect that those sentences will be carried out in a manner that is not only legal and constitutional, but effective.
For now, we're gonna have to wait to see how things move out,
because yes, there's the court of public opinion,
but also we might see something happen legally.
But for now, the ball is largely in Governor Lee's court.
And then also, in the news, if the other accusations weren't bad enough,
officials are now saying that Andrew Tate had bestiality on one of his devices.
And specifically what they allegedly found were images of people having sex with live animals,
including a horse and an eel.
Right, and that is just the latest disturbing accusation that the UK is filing
to get him and his brother Tristan extradited.
Because they're also saying that they have Andrew on camera in bed
with a 17-year-old girl wearing lingerie, kissing his neck,
claiming that they saw messages that proved that he knew the girl was underage,
even telling her about the legal problems that it could cause.
You then also had reports saying he and his brother have been going online,
starting fake relationships with women and convincing them to move to Romania to join their webcam business.
Right with those, of course, being long-standing allegations.
And apparently when women showed up, Andrew and Tristan would allegedly take their passports,
make them completely financially dependent on them and eventually force them into doing porn.
And so the accusations, they just don't stop.
Rape, assault, human trafficking, prostitution, extreme pornography.
It's a lot.
But their legal team, they're denying all of it.
And as far as the Beastiality videos, they're
attorney says that the officials are trying to tie Andrew to a device they allegedly found
in what he called a flop house, claiming that there is no proof that he ever actually watched
any of the videos on it. And so, I'm claiming that the filing was as weak as it gets and that the
government's Andrew Tate fetish, it's gotten so bad that somebody over there needs professional
help. And then with us, he's also pushing back on having identities of the accusers and the other
allegations redacted from official documents, claiming that it makes it harder for them to
fight those cases. But for now, you have Andrew and Tristan, still locked up in Miami, and we're
going to have to wait to see if things get crazier from here. And then last up today, everything
is fine, or at least the plague.
isn't going to kill us, at least as of right now.
That is what you had Russia's health regulator saying after the researcher at the Siberian
Plague Research Institute died, which of course sent a lot of people around the world into a
COVID-level panic.
Right, because if you missed the coverage, Darya Ashipelova died from pneumonia of a still unknown
origin.
And when it happened, Russian authorities quarantined around 200 people that she could have
made contact with in the hospital.
Also, multiple other facilities in the area, they started putting restrictive measures
in place.
And the rumors about what led to it all, they spread pretty quickly.
But we really didn't get a lot of official communication about what was going on.
And so you reportedly had people like Mark,
where we would be opening pressure on Russia to offer more information.
And with that, officials said that the researcher was vaccinated against the pneumonic plague
and the other dangerous stuff that she worked with,
so she would have at least had some level of protection as she came in contact with.
And well, obviously, that doesn't mean she was completely immune.
Apparently, officials didn't find any traces of the microorganisms that she worked with
in her body after she died, including the plague.
And then I also feel like I should note here that even if they did,
experts said that they wouldn't have expected widespread contagion.
And then also, as far as people that she'd been in contact with,
more than 90% have completed their time under medical observation,
and there have been no issues to report there either.
And so with that, you have them saying preventive and anti-epidemic measures have been organized to an exhaustive extent
and adding that there are no epidemiological risks in the area.
And so right now, you know, we still don't know what the exact source of the pneumonia that killed her was.
And yes, you have a lot of people holding Russia's feet to the fire, pressing for more transparency.
But with this update, it at least seems like we can wait for more details with a little less anxiety.
Right. And that, my friends, is actually the end of your Wednesday show.
Thank you for watching, like and subscribe and being a part of these daily dives into the news.
Be a slightly more miserable dumpster dive without your beautiful face.
And hey, well, I'll be right back here tomorrow.
I've got even more for you to watch right now, if you want.
Today's brand new crashing out, which we titled
What Everyone's Getting Wrong About the Pope's War on AI.
But no matter what you do, I love your face.
Be safe out there, and I'll see you right back here tomorrow.
