Hello and welcome to this week's episode of the Phone Box Podcast with me, Emma Conway.
How the devil are you? How has your week been? Could you go and let me know, please,
on the Phone Box Podcast on Instagram or, you know, direct message me on Brummel Me Too.
I'm not going to lie, guys. I'm suffering with some very worrying perimenopause symptoms at the moment.
I'm on the HRT, but this week I fell over,
cried at my daughter because she was so cute,
and walked the wrong way home.
So, Steph, you've got all this to come because you are young.
You're a young girl.
You've got all this to come.
Oh, cannot wait.
Just cannot wait. Oh. i bring people on the podcast i bring people oh you're oh you think you're unraveling now
in 10 years time i'll do a little check-in and i'll be like steph how are you getting on now
mate you'd be like i just walked around random streets today there's not a podcast i haven't
mentioned i don't think uh that i'm going through perimenopause,
but a lot of women my age are,
and we don't really talk about it very much.
It's kind of like a mystery.
So, but welcome to the podcast, Steph.
Can you tell the people where they can find you online?
Oh, thank you so much for having me.
So I am online at, on Instagram Instagram at at Stephanie Yeboah and my website is
stephanieyeboah.com and I will leave links in the description box and you're on TikTok as well
is that the same sort of thing oh yes I'm on TikTok um and it's at Steph Yeboah
she is fashion so we're going to be talking about a lot about fashion and you can't see,
but she's wearing a back to the future t-shirt,
which when she came on the screen, I did a little bit of a scream.
Now, every time I have a guest on, I like to ask them a question.
And because you're wearing a film top, I'm going to ask you a film question.
First of all, what year do we think you were 14 so I believe I was 14
between 2003 2004 but I'm pretty sure I'm pretty confident it was 2003 it took us a long time to
work it out we just we're doing the two of us I think it's 2004 actually because if I'm 35 no
2003 to be gonna do you know? We're going with 2003.
And you may correct us if you want.
Because it took us about 10 minutes.
But that's fine.
So I'm going to ask you what you think the top five films of 2003 were.
Can you guess any one of them?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say one of the harry potters harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban it's not but there was another like a fantasy series in the top five lord of the rings
yes yes he got it so number five was lord of the rings two towers and at number two was lord of
the rings return of the king i've never seen either of them films you're not oh they're incredible are they they're about five hours each but they
are so good do you think my kids would like them or is it an adults only thing they're 11 and 13
your kids would love them they are incredible there are just so many oh it's just like a grand epic fantasy sort of buddy tale of these misfits grouping together
to go and destroy a ring and there's loads of different weird like creatures they encounter
along the way and yeah it's great it's so good maybe i should say because i'm from birmingham
and in birmingham there's a place called hall green and that's kind of where he based all of
his novels on like uh Tolkien based his novels on
Paul Green's a little fun fact for you okay can you guess number one I'm gonna give you a clue
it's a Disney film 2003 Disney is it a live action Disney or is it a Pixar Disney it's a Pixar good
good picking up on the fact it could be a Pixar. Pixar Disney.
I want to say Toy Story 2.
Finding Nemo.
Ah.
Finding Nemo is number one.
They got Lord of the Rings.
Matrix Reloaded.
Again, I've not seen that.
I haven't seen that either.
No.
And then Love Actually at number four.
Oh, I used to go to school with the little kid from Love Actually.
Which little kid?
The boy or the girl? Tom Sangster. Yeah. oh I used to go to school with the little kid from love actually which little kids the boy
or the girl Tom Sangster yeah so I used to mentor him when we used to go to the same school because
he used to get bullied and I was bullied at school and so like they did like this mentorship program
in our school and I got to look after him for a year he's so sweet so he's like famous now isn't
he's in other things yeah he's been in like Game of Thrones. He's been in, what else has he been in?
He's been in quite a few things, like fantasy, epic, Blade Runner.
Not Blade Runner.
He was in like another thing that I haven't seen because it's very like Gen Z.
I bet my kids will have seen it.
I bet they'll have seen it.
I think one of my kids is Gen Alpha.
Oh my gosh, there's another one one there's one after Z already slow down like it's Gen Alpha um isn't that fascinating so you both struggled at school and you're both like
really smashing it that's so good I hope so I mean our our secondary school was it wasn't a stage
school but it was like a school that was known for its um music and drama so we have quite a few like
famous people that have cropped out of there um which is tell me them I love famous people stories
who else famous anybody I'll take anyone um uh Ellie Jackson from from larue went to my school yeah um i don't know if you ever watched
the the queen's nose do you remember the queen yes yes one of the main characters and her real
name is ella jones but she was one of the main characters with the 50p naughty's icon what an
icon children's tv yeah and then um some of the members of so solid crew so asha d
or ashley waters went to my school mo gilligan went to my me and mo gilligan were in the same
class actually um so that was really cool um my god i love a celebrity story
but let's be going off to a good start okay so, so you're 14. Where did you grow up and what was on your bedroom walls?
So at 14, I grew up in southwest London in an area called Nine Elms, which is kind of like near Vauxhall.
And yeah, I loved living there. Like we grew up on an estate. It was just very community led.
Like everybody looked after each other's kids. It was of those places lived opposite a crack house it was so much fun we always used to like go poking in there obviously I didn't know
what crack was we just mean just having a little look around yeah there'll be like a good like five
of us and we'll just like go around gallivanting in the estates with our parents not knowing and
finding a random crack den and we're like oh what's this
we would make friends with like the local sex
workers and we would everyone just looked after each other like there was no trouble whatsoever
so there was something so wholesome about that um when I was so who was on my wall I mean Orlando
Bloom Orlando Bloom when I saw that blonde hair in lord of the rings my heart that was my first
crush that was and it actually turned out to be quite obsessive like it was it became um
quite chaotic that crush

right okay we need to we need to so it's orlando bloom specifically in lord of the rings or also
pirates of the caribbean and pirates of the caribbean and all of his other movies that came
out but it was lord of the rings that was the uh sexual awakening for me it's the blonde
hair it's guys with super platinum blonde hair I mean Malfoy again same thing um Henry Cavill in
The Witcher it's the you've really got a thing for blonde hair haven't you but it has to be platinum
blonde okay like white yeah so why was it a chaotic crush was you just thinking
about him were you writing his name on your pencil case I bought an a3 red scrapbook which I think my
mum still has to this day so a huge no a2 so it's really big and it was before the internet was
really popular so the internet was there but it was like not as popular as it is now I would buy
magazines and newspapers and anytime they mentioned him or he had like not as popular as it is now I would buy magazines and
newspapers and anytime they mentioned him or he had a photo I would cut it out and I would stick
it in my scrapbook I went through about three scrapbooks of just pictures of his heads um
when his when his uh website uh went live um I applied to be like the moderator for the forum I didn't get in because I was too young
at the time I used to ditch school to go to his premieres so when Kingdom of Heaven came out
I remember I and it was during I think I was studying for my GCSEs it must have been I just
feigned illness and I went to stand in the crowd at Leicester Square
for four hours and I caught a glimpse of him and I think I fainted I was in love with him I was
it was and even my mum was like my mum's not really clued up on like westernized pop culture
but she was like Steph this is actually insane like you're not well like you keep this notebook under your bed and I would just
fantasize about him all the time and I hated his girlfriend at the time Kate Bosworth for no other
reason that for that they were just together you know when you go through that what a cow could
have been you yeah I was like could have been you out where he lived. Didn't go so far as to stalk him. Just knowing where he was, was good enough for me.
And yeah, it was actually quite problematic. Yeah, it was.
I feel you are one of us because I have upstairs, I have just above me, stack of scrapbooks with just tape that's head cut out, sticking.
Like the tiniest little articles, cut them out, stick them in.
You didn't go to Orlando's house.
I went to Gary Barlow's house.
I went to Mark Lowen's house.
I went to Robbie Williams' house.
And Robbie Williams was in.
Oh, my God.
Wait.
So what?
Did he come out and say
he he came out and he quite rightly told us to f off no we were like 15 and we just stood there
and he was like you know and then his mom brought him back out to apologize to us and we had fun I love that though oh my gosh that is just a you are one of us what I
need to know is if Orlando knocked at your door now would you your heart flutter
or have you moved on I have since moved on but I would definitely let him in I would definitely make him a cup of tea
and I would I wouldn't go I wouldn't go balls deep into telling him how much I was obsessed with him
but I would say you know when I was younger I was a bit of a fan yeah I thought about you
every now and then you know I had the odd poster and then your mom's like she's got to scrap books
yeah yeah I have moved on though to be But yeah, Orlando was for the longest time,
I think from about 13 to 17,
I was very obsessed with him.
Oh, do you know what?
Good.
Because you're one of us and that's what I like.
So apart from Orlando Bloom,
were there any crushes or any kind of music
that you were really into?
Crushes.
So funnily enough,
all of the crushes that I seem to have are like actors.
So Tom Hardy was another one.
I went through like a Benedict Cumberbatch situation for a while.
Music.
So I was, do you know what's funny is when I was in when I was younger my no my one of
my first crushes was Aaron Carter so I loved Aaron again blonde with the curtains skinny blonde white
boy yeah yeah I don't know what it is but it was like I listened to Aaron Carter a lot, Backstreet Boys, I listened to a lot.
Because when I was at home, it wasn't that I was necessarily sheltered, but my parents didn't really like me listening to a lot of like rap and hip hop.
Because I guess, I don't know, they just like, oh, you know, rude words and all of that kind of stuff.
So for the most part, I just had access to like generic, like mainstream MTV.
So it would be a lot of the boy bands that we grew up listening to, like Bewitched and all of that kind of stuff.
Steps, Northern Line, Aqua, Five, like all of these like core 90s sort of early noughts cheesy bands.
And then when I was in secondary school, my secondary school didn't have a uniform code
which was just the worst thing ever because obviously you know going to school and being
forced to feel like you have to assimilate by via your clothing because people judge you on
your clothing and things like that so being plus size and in secondary school I just didn't have a
lot of options to wear things and we didn't have the plus size section back then that we do did now. So I was kind of forced to wear things that I felt covered my body,
which incidentally happened to be a lot of hoodies and like huge oversized like jeans and big
trainers. And so somehow I just fell into a group in school who were all
grunges because that was how they and because of that I just started listening to a lot of
Linkin Park and Evanescence and those kinds of sort of like grunge rock um songs for a while
and then sort of when I finished secondary school I started listening to a lot more like R&B and hip-hop um obviously Beyonce is like my number one love her um Stevie Wonder is probably
my favorite artist of all time and yeah up until about 2012 I think from there I stopped listening
to newer music so like all of my back catalogs now all of
my playlists on Spotify and things are all things from like 2004 greatest hits or 2002 greatest hits
um but yeah the vintage music I think I think one of the good things now is a lot of pop stars
release songs with loads of swear words in, but now at least with Spotify,
they do clean versions.
So like Sabrina Carpenter,
her stuff is proper rude,
but my daughter just puts that and it comes out with like,
you mother fluffer.
Like it says all these like kind of,
but we didn't have that.
It was just either the swear words or you didn't listen to it.
I love that you were a pop queen though, a pop princess.
Oh, my gosh, yeah.
I loved it.
Steps was a bit of me.
When they did their, they did a reunion tour,
was it a couple of years ago?
I absolutely went with my friend.
It was the best time.
And S Club 7 and S Club Juniors.
Oh, S Club Juniors.
This year, Steph, I was asked to go meet Steps and I met the whole of Steps
you did me and my sister it was my sister's birthday they're doing a musical did you know
they're doing a musical of all their songs Steps songs yeah and it was like the launch in Birmingham
weird place nothing ever happens in Birmingham come meet Steps and they were so nice it was like a little my
sister's little face because for her birthday she's like she had like a little birthday hat
on with all of us she's not like 12 she's like in her 40s I made out that like she was like a child
but no she's like a grown-up but it was so nice pop okay and then you like some grunge as well
um you talked about your fashion so was it like hoodies, big trousers?
Is there anything then that you would wear now?
Yes, I would wear combat trousers, like the camouflage ones.
Oh, I was mad for them back then.
I loved them so much with a pair of like vans, you know,
the checkerboard vans that everyone used to wear for the day.
Yeah, I would definitely wear them. Like I love vans to this day.
I still buy vans because I find them so comfortable for flat feet.
So I would definitely wear those. It was.
It's interesting because I think a lot of the fashion back then and still to this day sometimes is quite fat phobic or like it was just very exclusionary
of bigger bodies so you know you know when everybody would be wearing their diamante belts
or their butterfly crop tops and everything was low-waisted and handkerchief crop top things and
all of those trends that I missed out on like I couldn't shop at Tammy you know I had to go to
Mark One and Peacocks and all of those kinds of places which is and like Evans couldn't shop at Tammy you know I had to go to Mark One and Peacocks and all of those
kinds of places which is and like Evans and you know which is fine but they weren't they didn't
have mumsy clothes wasn't it quite mumsy yeah and all I wanted was to shop at Tammy and all
those kinds of places and and Jane Norman gosh remember Jane Norman Jane Norman just like that's
gone hasn't it Jane Norman I mean their largest size was like an eight.
It was just ridiculous there.
And so now in 2024, we saw,
we've been seeing a lot of the Y2K trends reviving
and I've been using that as my opportunity
to like wear all of those things that I couldn't wear
because now I have the confidence
and the sort of, you know, the zhuzh to wear them.
And some of the brands have been releasing them
in plus sizes. So, you know know being able to wear like crop tops and the big baggy trousers low-waisted trousers
has been really fun and it's been it's been a really fun way to tap into my childhood as well
and sort of relive those moments you're like healing your inner child yes that's what the
young that's what the young people say that's's what my, my Gen Z children and Alpha,
you're healing your inner child.
My son said to me this morning, he came in and he just said,
it's not about, he says it like,
it's not about how rocky the water is when you're sailing.
It's about how you control the, the, what's the, what is sailing?
What is it like?
My mind? The sailing sailing not the wing my mind has completely gone yeah you've got a boat sail the sail yeah it's about how you
i was just like that's a bit deep mate deep oh i was like i was like where do you see that it's
also on youtube that's like all lovely oh, lovely. Bit of motivation.
Thanks, gorgeous.
Is there anything that you wore then that you would never wear now?
Bandanas.
I loved it.
I had a fluorescent neon blue bandana that I would wear every day to school.
And when I think about it now, I would like proper wear it like a biker.
And when I think about it, I'm just like,
why did my mum allow me to leave the house looking like that it just looked atrocious. Was it TLC
where were you getting your inspiration from for the bandana who wore the bandana?
Who wore the bandana I think you know what I went through a period of like tomboy dressing so I
really looked up to Aaliyah I love Aaliyah and she was very much a tomboy you know
she would wear the baggy jeans Tommy Hilfiger cropped shirts and she would always dress in super
oversized clothes and I was really feeling that kind of tomboyish kind of look because it meant
that I could also wear like oversized things or find things that was oversized and she always used to every now and again wear bandanas and so I think that's where
I got it from you like a bandana she wore it once I'm wearing this for a year this is this this is
what I'm leaning into okay so we talked a little about music um we talked about film what kind of
tv shows are you watching give us some vintage kids shows that you were watching back in the day
vintage kids show so this is uh back in
the day so I watch do you know what I was the biggest fan and RIP to this channel Trouble
Trouble TV was my everything I don't think I've ever heard of Trouble TV what was on it
it was so it was on Sky um it's like one of the free channels and it was literally just like,
I think it's sort of a teen TV or teenage TV.
So they had two guys, a girl and a pizza place.
They had Will and Grace.
No, Will and Grace was on Living.
They had My Wife and Kids, Moesha, Sister Sister,
Cruel Summer.
They had like all of the syndicated American TV shows um and it was a
lot of like African-American TV shows as well so they would uh bring it over here so they had like
the Cosby show yeah um A Different World those kinds of shows and then I was very much into like all that the Angela Anaconda show um I loved
Keenan and Kel um what else I watched a lot of cartoons I was a huge Pokemon fan so I was
obsessed with Pokemon um up until the age of like 16 I used to deal in Pokemon cards yeah I watched Pokemon movie
like four times I would always cry at the same scene I had a crush on one of the Pokemon trainers
like to the point where I had an asthma attack and I had to stay in hospital overnight
and in hospital they give you like steroids and stuff to help you breathe and I remember this
like it happened yesterday at 2am I remember the nurse woke me up to give me my steroids and I just remember just saying the character's name as I was coming
in and out of sleep and I just remember the nurse laughing and then I had to explain what had
happened the next day is the character is it a cartoon or is it a human it's a human cartoon
it's a cartoon but of a human voice yeah I know but so you I'm trying to get my head around
it so the film I've never seen the Pokemon film is it a cartoon so you had a crush on a cartoon
yes got it got it got it I did I did yeah that was that was weird did you get your Pokemon cards
because they could be worth millions my mom threw them away
and i'd never forgive her because i had a rare new two card and i feel like in today's money
that could have been worth hundreds of thousands you could have been you could have given it work
but if you kept that card when i was in secondary school i was like the pablo escobar of pokemon
cards the way i would be like dealing them
in school like at lunchtime and like carving out whole deals with other classmates and doing
favors and tricks and stuff to get these rare cards I was I had like a really good enterprise
going on it was great I they they kind of stopped them because my son loves Pokemon but they don't
let them take them into school now because it all causes too much trouble people falling out yeah pokemon cards they're not allowed like football cards
and he loves anything like that but yeah he he still he still really loves pokemon he's um
he's a big fan he's not doesn't so much watch the cartoons but he loves the cards
and like video games like the nintendo switch yeah we've got the video games but he's got like
special folders and he puts all the cards in games but he's got like special folders and
he puts all the cards in the folders he's serious about it yeah oh yeah yeah and he's got some um
if you go to like because we go to america ever so often and there's like a shop called cards and
coffee and you can buy like little like vintage like limited edition cards he's got something like plastic casing or taking it very seriously
okay i love maisha i loved sister sister they don't make programs like that anymore
they don't oh it was just just wholesome and just genuinely funny tv um with great theme tunes they
all had great theme tunes yeah sister sister me, sister. Me and my sister still sing Sister, Sister to each other on a regular basis.
Do you?
They had really good theme songs, to be fair.
Really good.
And Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place had Ryan Reynolds in, didn't it?
It did, yeah.
And, like, what was another good theme tune?
Tracy Beaker had the best, I'm sorry, the best theme tune.
And I loved Tracy Beaker so much.
I'm a huge Jacqueline Wilson fan.
Like I'm reading all of her books as a child and a teenager.
And yeah, I was just in love with Tracy Beaker, CBBC.
There was a show called Pop.
Do you remember that?
And it was like a variety kids show.
Was it like a cartoon strip?
There's one, there was a creepy one the cartoon strip and
yeah one of the heads like a clay head yes yes yes yes so that I used to watch Rosie and Jim
um which is set in Birmingham Rose and Jim canals Birmingham all roads lead back to Birmingham
Rosie and Jim was epic I loved it and then there was another one where there was like three of them
living in a house together.
It's now gone viral on TikTok because people are realising how diabolical the show was.
But they're also like Muppets.
Yeah.
Not Rosie and Jim.
It's similar to Rosie and Jim in that they're all kind of like these Muppets.
And yeah, tiny tots.
Teeny tots.
I'm a touchy sweet and touch, tilly tum and tiny. Yeah, yeah like three like french why was it diabolical what were they doing because that people are taking some of the
where it just people are saying that they were a throuple could be um they could be and they're
just like taking out and singling out some of the dialogue that just sounds very not safe for kids and making
it like it's its own thing and i for one have been giggling at it i'm sorry it's hilarious i'm
gonna look at that when i get off i'm gonna i'm gonna go my i'm it's gonna be my for you pages
it's gonna be this throuple yeah talking french to each other okay so we've covered tv um i want to talk first
snogs first snog yes yes yes um i want to know you don't have to say if you don't want to i'm
always love it if you do i want to know first snogs go my first snog was when I was waiting outside my science class in school and I was 15 years old
um and it was one of my friends who also happened to be born on my birthday his name was Zia
um he was gay and I remember just standing outside of the class and he just ran up to me and just
gave me a huge snog on my face and then he ran off and I was just like what the hell
and then I developed a huge crush on him um and he was gay yeah he was like babes I'm gay and I was
just like it doesn't like you like it doesn't let me down oh no so what was his thinking behind it
did he just want to get it out of the way was he showing to other people that he wasn't gay what was his thinking so from what I could see because I had my back turned at
the time I think he was just going along the corridor just kissing everyone I think he had
passed a test or something and he was celebrating so he was just being very like over the top and
like yeah just kissing everyone and then he kind of like grabbed me it was very dramatic and like
something out of a movie and just like yeah like leaned over and kissed me and I was like oh my gosh this is the
first time someone's kissed me so it wasn't like a proper deep romantic thing it was just
yeah I touched mine but um I'll always remember it you look really happy you're talking about it
yeah because it was just so I don't know just so innocent and wholesome and he
was just so dramatic with it so every time I think about it I laugh and I smile because it was just
so grand and over the top and just very funny so it's a really nice memory actually do you know
what I'm glad because most I'd say 95% of people who come on the podcast have not had a nice first kiss so you are one of the rare few
who've had a nice first kiss to be fair my second was terrible it was when I was 17 and he had
he hadn't cleaned his braces so as he was he didn't know how to kiss so he was like spitting in my
mouth there was chunks of food going into my mouth I wanted to throw up but I couldn't so I had to
wait until we were done then I went into his bathroom and threw up and then I said I'm gonna
go home and so he walked me to the to the bus stop and then he asked me for a pound which I felt
compelled to give him and then we never spoke again And then we never spoke again.
And most people don't ever speak to their first kiss again.
It just seems to be, right, I've got that done with now.
And tick.
I think it's interesting you talked about unrequited love.
I think there's a lot of unrequited love when you're a teenage girl.
It seems to be.
It hurts so much.
Oh, God, it's so bad.
Yeah. seems to be it hurts so much oh god it's so bad yeah it's my my mother's a boy called mark which
is a classic 90s name floppy hair obviously oh i never spoke to him once never ever spoke to him
but i'd see because i went to an all-girls school i'd see him like hang oh lovely unrequited he
didn't even know i don't even know if it can if they don't know you exist that's not even unrequited is it that's just unacknowledged i don't know i'm not even
unacknowledged like just unexist you don't exist i don't know who you are but yeah there was a lot
of like yearning that's kind of like a common universal truth of growing up and I'm sure it continues today okay are you glad that you grew
up then or do you wish you're growing up now oh I I'm so growing up now gives me the ick I'm sorry
the the kids of today will never know how amazing the 90s and the early aughts were I'm sorry I
we grew up in an era that was just at the cusp of
technology so we had the best of both worlds you know we had the Nokia 3210s but then we also had
like the new phones that were coming out we were on the precipice of like the internet era AOL the
dial-up like MSN messenger I'm sorry we had it was the best I never did that did I miss that because I
was I'm older than you I just missed out on that was it great oh my gosh it was just just when
social media was slowly starting to come in via myspace and um high five and um just good music
cheesy pop music um I loved growing up in the 90s and the early aughts.
I just think it was just such a fantastic era to grow up in.
And the fashions were amazing.
The music was amazing.
Things could have been a lot better with regards to the social norms,
with regards to things like, you know uh fat phobia and
racism and and all of the isms and the phobias that were a lot more relentless back then than
they are now where you know we have a lot more social responsibility and awareness of things
back then it was quite ruthless like anything went back then um but it was just a more wholesome time but pre-social media was quite wholesome
you know using a home telephone as opposed to a mobile phone and writing letters to pen pals and
just the manual way in which we did everything I miss it and so it's one of the reasons why to
this day like I don't like to use Kindles.
If I have a notebook, like I prefer to write everything, all of my dates and stuff in notebooks as opposed to electronically.
Yeah, I still like to do things like the manual way.
I still love writing letters, like handwritten letters and things, because I fear that if I don't keep it up I might lose the ability to write well
so I think that's right it is hard I really actively encourage my kids to phone their friends
I'm like why don't you just phone so and so like just phone them like sometimes my girl one thing
I do think would have been lovely she'll phone her friend and she'll put it on FaceTime and
they'll tidy their wardrobes together like that's cool I would have loved to have done that that's
cool that's really yeah but I do say like try and find them don't just message them all the
time because you learn you forget how to like interact with people it's it's it's so it's so
strange so you're glad you grew up there but you can see some positives for now yeah there's some
positives that I can see some positives now I think social media is one of
those things where while it has brought people together there is the tendency where like you say
like if you're not interacting with people or talking to people it can cause a divide sometimes
it can make you feel quite lonely because all of the people that you're interacting with are on you
know on the phone um instead of like meeting up actively meeting up and and doing
things together but in terms of the social aspects of growing up now I do think that Gen Z and
apparently Gen A which is a thing now um they are growing up in a world where they have a lot more
awareness about social issues which I think is brilliant they seem a lot more switched on when it comes to things like the environment sustainability um discrimination
you know all of these things a lot of them are just seem to know that what is right and what
is wrong and so that gives me some hope for for the future as well um and just the talent the
amount of talent that is out there like I love sometimes I just love going on to um and just the talent the amount of talent that is out there like I love sometimes
I just love going on to TikTok and just seeing like these 18 19 year old being hilarious and
it's just so yeah I love like proper I proper TikTok if you're not on TikTok people who are
my age if you're not on TikTok do go on it because it is really funny there's some stuff like I'm like crying with laughter.
These people are just so creative.
Right.
On my phone box podcast Instagram, I always do a poll.
So what I think I'm going to do this week is take all the shows that are on the Trouble channel
and get people to vote which way they think was the best one.
Okay.
Who do you think will win?
I think my wife and kids might win. I'm not sure I saw my wife and kids who was in it so it was you know the Wayans brothers
yes so the bald one Damon Wayans um he was in it uh Tisha Campbell was in it who was like an
actress from like the 80s 90s and she was in a movie called House Party and she was in it who was like an actress from like the 80s 90s and she was in a movie called house party
and she was in um what else has she been in she's been in another tv show called martin that was
with martin lawrence um but she's like a really great comedic actor and so it's just this show
about this husband and wife with their three kids and how damon wayne's character is like
the oddball dad that just loves to terrorise his children
to teach them lessons and things.
And so it was very, very, it was very, very good.
Yeah, I'm going to put all that
and I'm going to put it on Spotify.
We also do a little poll.
So on Spotify, just tick the shows that you've seen.
So like your Moesha, your Sister Sister,
your Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place.
