Starting point is 00:00:32 Tom Brady has un-unretired, or re-retired, whatever you call it, he says he's now done playing football for good. This retirement announcement came one year to the day from his previous one. In case you missed the accolade summary the last time around, he leaves the NFL holding a number of records including, most games won, 251, most Super Bowl wins, 7, more than any single team, the Steelers and the Patriots each have 6, the only player to win a title in 3 different decades, the only player to win a title in three different decades, and he is the oldest player from the NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL to win MVP.
Starting point is 00:01:13 Patriots owner Robert Kraft says he wants to sign Brady to a one-day contract so he can officially retire as a member of the Patriots, where he played most of his career. It's not wrong to enjoy eternally insignificant things like sports, but remember that whoever your QB1 is, nothing of true importance has changed. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 0.25 percentage points, a smaller increment than the 0.75 and 0.5 percentage
Starting point is 00:01:51 point bumps seen in 2022. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell noted that inflation is cooling. Last year ended with inflation at 6.5%, down from its 9.1% peak, but still well above the Fed's 2% target. However, he's still not ready to don a party hat, promising a couple more rate hikes this year. Interest rates aren't the only numbers getting attention. Apple up 3.7%, Amazon up 7.4%, Alphabet up 7.3%, and Meta up 23.3%. All saw stock swings after announcing Q4 earnings, while FedEx, PayPal, Pinterest, and Rivian are reducing their numbers. Job, chapter 12, verse 10 says, The life of every living thing is in his hand, as well as the breath of all humanity. The FBI searched President Biden's vacation home in Delaware on Wednesday. The agents didn't find classified documents, but they didn't come home entirely empty-handed from the last round of Pokemon Go Documents Edition. Handwritten notes and other materials from Biden's time as VP were taken for review. Biden's attorney said the search was planned and a process we will continue to fully support and facilitate. This was the third Biden property to be scoped after classified docs were found at his
Starting point is 00:03:24 other Delaware residence and D.C. office. Special Counsel Robert Herr begins work on the investigation this week. Netflix previewed some details regarding its Q1 password sharing crackdown, saying households can share an account, but all devices must connect to the primary location's Wi-Fi every 31 days to avoid getting blocked.
