The frenzy spawned class action lawsuits, congressional hearings, and the Netflix movie, Dumb Money.
Starting point is 00:01:02 After three years of silence, Gill returned to social media on Monday, posting a picture on X of a gamer leaning forward in his chair, a picture meant to signify the game is on. Despite the lack of context or additional information, shares of GameStop and AMC, another meme stock fave, skyrocketed. GameStop soared as much as 275% over two days, and trading was halted several times due to volatility. Here's a verse to consider when tempted to risk it all for a big windfall. Gaza is seeing its most intense fighting in weeks. In southern Gaza, 360,000 people have fled Ra'afah amidst strikes and street battles as Israel takes the eastern part of the city. Israel is also advancing in Jabaliyah in northern Gaza, where Hamas regrouped after Israel scaled back operations in January.

Ukrainian President Zelensky thanked Uncle Sam for the recently passed $61 billion aid package and asked for quick delivery. Blinken said it was on its way. Further east, Russia is doing some rare reshuffling among its top military brass. President Putin is replacing his longtime defense minister with an economist in an effort to boost efficiency amid massive military expenditures.
