The bridge largely cleared when police arrived Saturday morning, and by Sunday morning, only 12 protesters and two pickups remained. They were towed and arrested. But that's far from the end of the Freedom Convoy. Thousands of protesters continue to block roads in Canada's capital city, and unsupporting Ottowins are growing increasingly angry at the police for not quelling the noise and unclogging the traffic. Other countries are seeing copycat convoys. On Saturday, French police stopped more than 500 vehicles heading to protest in Paris, using tear gas and making quick arrests to prevent a larger demonstration on the famous Champs-Élysées Avenue. We can respect others and represent God better if we're quick to listen and slow to speak. James 1.19 and 20 says, everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for human anger does not accomplish God's righteousness. If you're a U.S. citizen in Ukraine, it's time to cash in on those airline miles. The State Department received intelligence that Russia may invade this Wednesday and has told American personnel to evacuate the country immediately. Biden warned that any who stay and are caught in potential crossfire will not be rescued. Ukrainian President Zelensky isn't convinced that an invasion is imminent and asked the U.S. for evidence before issuing

Meanwhile, Russia still insists that the 100,000 troops stationed on three sides of the country are just part of a simple military exercise. But the international community just isn't buying it. German Chancellor Scholz heads to Moscow on Tuesday hoping to convince Putin to choose diplomacy, not war. There may be good reasons to be worried or scared about this day, month, or year. President Biden signed an executive order to split $7 billion in Afghan assets, which were frozen when the Taliban took control, between 9-11 victims and humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. Former Afghan President Karzai said that he shares the pain of families who lost loved ones in 9-11, but called seizing Afghan funds unjust and unfair. A fresh wave of states legalizing sports betting made yesterday's Super Bowl the most gambled-upon game in history. An estimated $7.6 billion was legally bet yesterday, up 78% from last year.

LeBron James has scored 44,152 points in the NBA, more than anyone else. He passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring record, which combines regular season and postseason points, on Saturday night.
