But all three presidents spent time in Pennsylvania, where the tight race between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Mehmet Oz could determine which party will control the Senate. Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada are also key Senate races. The House is expected to flip away from Democrats to the GOP. Already mourning the loss of election season? It may not be gone long. Former President Trump is reportedly planning on kicking off the 2024 election cycle by announcing an official presidential bid as soon as November 14th. Followers of Christ are not determined by their political affiliation, but their love for others. And yes, that means loving people you believe are voting for the wrong candidate. John 13, verse 35 says, By this, everyone will know you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Uncle Sam added a better-than-expected 261,000 jobs in October, despite the Federal Reserve's best efforts. While the job market is gradually losing momentum, roughly two job openings remain for every unemployed worker. The Fed, worried that the continued labor shortage will push wages up and make it harder to rein in inflation, is expected to keep aggressively raising interest rates until the job market cools off. While the Fed may have been bothered, the stock market had a more traditional strong jobs numbers equals good reaction. The S&P 500 jumped on Friday, ending a rough week on a high note, except for Carvana stock, which needed an airbag. It crashed 39%, its worst day ever, and is now down 96% this year, a reaction to a sharp drop in demand for used cars. There may be good reasons, like talks of recession and inflation, to be worried about this day, month, or year. God does not promise good days, he promises a great eternity. Stay

focused on eternity, it changes everything. Psalm 18 verse 2 says, The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. All eyes turn to Kyrgyzstan, the new focus of the Ukraine war. Though Moscow captured the provincial capital early in the war, Ukraine appears poised to take it back, a significant move since the port city sits within one of the partially occupied territories Russia illegally annexed in September. Putin has ordered all civilians in Kherson be evacuated to further Russian lines.

Ukraine says these evacuations are effectively abductions. Meanwhile, President Biden promised another $400 million in military aid, bringing the total military aid committed to Ukraine to $18.9 billion. And for the first time, Iran admitted it supplied drones to Russia, but claims the shipment arrived before Russia invaded Ukraine. The U.S. says they shipped this summer, very much mid-war. Can someone check the tracking number? It's easy to feel helpless in a situation like this, but the Bible promises that prayer is powerful and effective, that it causes things to happen that would not have happened otherwise. Do not cease praying for a peaceful resolution to conflicts like this one in Ukraine.

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 16 through 18 says, Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Aaron Carter, the 34-year-old troubled former child star, famous for songs like I Want Candy, was found dead on Saturday. Aaron soared to fame in the 90s as a solo artist on the heels of his older brother Nick Carter's success with the Backstreet Boys. He survived by his 11-month-old son, Prince.
