The Supreme Court had a busy week.
Starting point is 00:02:11 On Tuesday, the Supremes granted the White House's request to keep $1.5 billion in USAID funds temporarily frozen, overruling a lower court. The administration said it's eliminating 90% of USAID's foreign aid contracts in an effort to use taxpayer dollars wisely to advance American interests, saying much of the aid is a waste of money. The department accidentally canceled a USAID Ebola prevention grant very briefly.
Starting point is 00:04:10 The conversation then turned to the U.S.'s impending agreement with Ukraine, a bilateral rare earth minerals deal designed to help American taxpayers get their money back for continued military aid. Ukraine's President Zelensky wants security guarantees from Uncle Sam, in exchange for shared profits from Ukraine's state-owned natural resources, used in electronics and EV production. President Trump said guarantees aren't part of the deal because neighborhood security is Europe's responsibility.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Zelensky's headed to Washington today to finalize the deal. With over 1,000 translations and every type of decorative edition, it's easy to forget how many people can't even get their hands on a single copy of the Bible in their native language.
Starting point is 00:05:18 That's why we've partnered with CREW. CREW has missionaries in almost every country, but they need more Bibles. One missionary said, I've never seen such a thirst for the Word of God in my country. Let's quench that thirst. For just $24 a month, you can provide three people with Bibles every month. As a bonus, Crew will provide meals to 12 hungry individuals through their humanitarian ministry and send you a free TPO coffee mug.
